>pretty autistic about this
I'm going to play the devil's advocate here, just because people throwing around shit like 'autism' derogatorily without reason pisses me off.
Let's go over this:
>OP gives us a choice to make. >People bicker about the choices. >Eventually, a vote is tallied. >Vote is clearly flawed, consensus not reached, warnings are put out, alternate methods of resolving it discussed. >Too late, OP took the flawed tally and rolled with it, not knowing any better. >People are upset, for multiple reasons. >To avoid future issues, suggestions are made, OP is asked to weigh in. >Some people ask for a quick do-over with these new methods before it's too late, due to unsatisfactory resolution.
And then you 'duuur autism'.
Personally, I give no shits in any direction, but because I enjoy this game, I would like to see this potential issue addressed so that it doesn't hurt the game and the experience like it did just now.
And it is a game, and interactive adventure. meaning the dynamic is give and take, and the OP needs to let us play the character(s) we are given, in the same way we need to respect rules and ruleings he has laid down.
All this will lead to is a better game for all, and the sooner we can agree to something, the sooner we can move on. |
