We need to get our Physical up so when we get in a fight we can summon Jenkins, reinforce the fuck out of him with enchantments, then bicycle kick him into people like an adamantium soccer ball.

So is there any reason we can't enchant the fuck out of our own clothing/wear some enchanted necklaces/rings that let us cast a bunch of good combat spells and buff our other stats?

Swearing slightly under your breath, you turn and start jogging back to your place. Legs striding, you feel yourself pushing, dodging around NPC's that now wont get out of your way because the show thinks it's more interesting that way. Fuck em, you've got this you think as you manage to vault a small hedge.

You make it back to your place, drop your bag and change in record time. Glancing at the clock you see you have 3 minutes until class starts. Fuck.

You run again. This time it's harder to keep up the pace, it's not far but you are by no means a trained distance runner. But you manage to keep a decent pace, still easily dodging any of the obstacles thrown your way.

You manage to come skidding into class just as you hear a bell-tower chiming the start. Holy shit that was close. You're already sweaty and slightly out of breath, but you made it in time at least. You glance up, seeing that the class is quite larger than your others as some of the girls turn and look your way.

However, a few things do catch your eye. Namely all four girls you already know. Chris is up near the front, along with Kaname, both looking like the want class to start soon. Akeno is in the middle with some friends and gives you a wink as she sees you. Finally Tatsuko is in the back, still wearing her clothes from before and apparently fast asleep on some bleachers.

You don't see the teacher yet, so you could join one of them if you'd like.

Fuck this, you think as you rub some sweat out of your eyes. You'd forgotten how hard it could be to run that far, most of the times you remember involved mostly standing still and getting slaughtered or just standing there. But Tatsuko is right over there and you doubt if she's ever not in the mood for cuddling a little, doesn't seem the type to be.

Luckily she's the closest, so you stagger over to the bleachers and take a seat, not even having the immediate strength to lay down. With a murmur Tatsuko shifts a bit, her head now on your legs. You don't even think she actually woke up.

As you breath rhythmically, finally catching your breath a little, you hear the class quiet. Looking up you see the gym teacher. She's...interesting looking. Long gray hair, looked a little over than most of the girls you'd seen so far and wasn't wearing gym clothes either. However what caught your eye the most was the sword. That gave you pause. What the hell was she going to do with a sword?

Your wondering was cut off as she took a stance in front of the class.

"Hello," she said, her voice a little rough, yet disturbingly eager sounding, "Welcome to Physical Training Class. Many magic users think that physical activity is useless, they prefer spells." A rather scary grin. "I am not one of them." Now the sword is drawn, lazily hanging by her side. "Now despite the ban on fights between students, that does not extend to students and teachers. So today's class is simple. Dodge or parry one of my attacks and you pass. Hit me I'll give you extra credit. You have one minute to prepare. Go."

Fuck. She didn't look like she was messing around. You were pretty sure she wasn't going to kill anyone, but even if dulled that sword was probably going to hurt like a bitch.

You see Kaname and Chris preparing themselves, backing off slightly from the teacher while Akeno and friends are apparently readying spells. Tatsuko is still asleep on your lap.

Looking down at the innocently sleeping girl on your lap you can't help but be worried about her. Both on a slightly personal and awareness level, no decent protagonist leaves a girl to a scary gym teacher like that.

So you start shaking her, minute ticking away faster and slower than you'd really like. Tatsuko mumbles a bit and stirs slightly, but it's really not doing much besides making her hair shake cutely. Goddamn show you're about to get beat up and it has to throw cuteness in? Fuck.

After nearly twenty seconds of trying to wake Tatsuko you give up. It's not working and you're not in any shape to try and dodge this bitch.

So you reach into your bag for something to enchant with shield. You manage to find one of those large erasers everyone buys but you hardly see anyone use. Fuck, it's not the best but it's something.

Using your pen you begin scratching the runes for shield into the pink square. It'll be quick and dirty but you're the protag and...

"Time" the word cuts through the air like a knife and then you literally feel the teacher powering up. Taking a quick glance you see her face turn nearly sadistic and she leaps forward, sword moving at a blur.

The closest students are immediately knocked away, flying towards the walls with grunts of pain. Magic circles pop up as the near, slowing them to most gently thumps, but not love taps by any means.

Fuck fuck fuck, not sure Protag Points are worth this.

Carving hastily you hope your shield can stand up to one blow as you hear other grunts and screams and spells going off. Finishing you look up in time to see Akeno and most of her friends dodging the hell away from the teacher, many taking flight to do so as the grey haired menace simply laughs, chasing after everyone she sees.

Then you see the teacher glance your way, that grin on her face as she swats away three girls who stupidly, in your opinion at the very least, try to attack her. Before they’ve even hit the walls she’s headed your way.

Shit shit fuck…You throw up your makeshift eraser shield in an attempt to save yourself and Tatsuko from imminent pain.

It manages to stop the swing….for maybe a millisecond or so. You can see the shield break and feel the eraser disintegrate in your hands as the sword comes towards your ribs. Fuck fuck… your eyes close automatically even before you get hit.

And then you’re not hit.

Glancing down with a squinted eye you see Tatsuko, eyes still closed, with her hand up and blocking the blade, some small magic sparks flying.

With that, she disappears in a puff of smoke. Probably mysticism, you think, looking down at Tatsuko. Why the hell should you worry about Tatsuko.

Looking around you see that most of the students are down, with a small number still standing and out of breath. Looks like Akeno and company are with them, while Chris and Kaname are down.

A bell rings and you can feel the teacher powering down, much like you did her powering up. Stopping in the middle of the gym, she smiles to everyone.

"Decent showing for you first timers, most of you need some work though," she smiles at that, "So make sure to come back." With a wave of her hand you feel a pulse, causing your fatigue and tiredness to wash away.
