Mostly it's fairly sedate. It's not a large hospital and we don't get many cases which require my attention. Even when we do, there's generally not much of a rush to get anything done and people just leave you to do your work at whatever pace you want as long as it is reasonable. Wanted to be a surgeon, but I couldn't deal with the pressure so I was sort of shunted into the basement. It worked out alright in the end.

And while she still hasn't given you the bail-out signal, you'd still like to spare her from the annoyance of having to deal with them for at least a little while.
