Charles’ nonchalant expression changes from idle boredom to agonized screaming as he convulses in his seat, his body wrenching and twisting like a wild animal branded by an iron rod.

A warmth rushes through your mind as you do this, enjoying his pain, feeling it as if your own hands are clawing into his brain and scraping the flesh away.

“Expelliarmus!” shouts a voice as your wand shoots from your grip and clangs against the carriage window.

You snap out of your daze and turn to the sliding door to find Professor Avori holding his wand up at you.

Nothing is said for the longest time as you enter the castle and walk passed the double doors which lead to the great hall.

Avori commands you to sit at the Ravenclaw tables as you see that he is pocketing your wand. He’s angrier than you’ve ever seen him. He has always been well mannered, jovial and nice to students. But now he is a shaking mess, breathing heavily as he paces back and forth.
