Hello and welcome to another edition of Succubi Quest! Brought to you later than normal because morons at the airport have no idea how to reschedule things!

The last time we were on Succubi Quest, quite a few things happened. The first thing was that our hero, Brooklyn Browning, discovered that indeed he had been transformed into a female. When heading back to his city, he discovered the joys and horrors of feeding of a Succubus, in both soul sucking and feeding off emotions. After scouting a Snow Pirate base, the protagonist decided to go back after growing his horns, wings, and tail.

Back at his home city of Fort Hope, the hero managed to get a medical note explaining that he had been turned into a girl due a medical accident. During his time off, he decided to learn some more things about Demons and magic theory in general before heading off to his job of teaching noble children.

After his job, he decided to head to a bar, meeting a Reaper, one who showed up to collect his soul but decided to call it off as it wasn’t worth the effort to drag a demon in, drunk out of his gord. You decided to try and start a riot to feed, but was cut short by a girl named Mina Kazanari who beat up all dozen of the fighting people. You suspected she was a succubus after her singing performance. The Reaper decided to help you out in his own way, attacking Mina before she could “turn you into an orange mushroom”. After a small spat, you decided to bring the drunken Reaper back to your place.

“Uuuuhhhh...” you hear some groaning as you softly wake up.

As you roll over and open your eyes, the Reaper from last night can clearly be seen hunched over your toilet.

“...Reapers get hangovers too?” you ask the Reaper as you get out of bed.

“Yea, just like nearly everything else in the world... Except the Oni. Those guys really know how to hold it.” The Reaper replies.

This doesn’t come as a surprise to you, mainly as when you found the Reaper at the bar last night, he had no less than a dozen large empty mugs next to him. But regardless, a drunken Reaper is here hunched over your toilet in case you ask him something.

Oh yes, I nearly forgot. Link to previous thread.

"Well, it looks like you owe me a favor, but we'll get to that later.

Mind telling me more about reapers? Do all of you guys speak in obtuse metaphors when you get drunk? And you guys seem to be able to take a hit without caring."
>>
>>22094991
Do you remember what happened last night?
If you do, what can you tell me anything about Mina Kazanari? Is she a succubus? How do you resist her suggestions?
>>
>>22094978
oh and OP, just noticed your thread. Would have sooner, if maybe you had a twitter to announce you started one. hint hint
>>
>>22095752

Yea I'll make one before the end of the night in that case. Typing next part now.
>>
Shame we didn't get the best magic school. Who cares about lasers and darkness tentacles and shit when you're hung over? With healing we could drink as much as we want and then just zap it better in the morning.
>>
>>22095954
but, we have perfect vision now. Either in the dark, or in the obscured areas. Thats neat as well.

>>22095632
>>22095741

[1/3]
“Well first it seems you owe be a bit of a favor, but we’ll get to that later.” you say as you head over and light the fireplace, going to make a bit of tea for the Reaper.

“...I do? Last light was such a blur to me... I don’t even remember what happened after I went into the bar.” he says still hunched over the bowl.

“...You mean you don’t remember anything?” you asks him.

“Well I remember after I left your place, I went over to the bar and asked him to get a few. After that it... all seems to blend together.” he replies.

“So do you mind telling me a little bit more about Reapers and what you guys do? Books are one thing, but hearing it straight from the horses mouth is another.” you say as you light fireplace.

“Oh we’re just technically being that roam the realms and do jobs that often involve lost souls. Sometimes when people die, they don’t technically pass into the afterlife correctly, and it’s our job to guide them there. Usually they come peacefully but sometimes we need to use force to make them come with us. As for spiritual position we’re... odd. We technically count as some form of angel, despite the undead status.” he says.
>>
>>22096018

[2/3]

“...You? An angel?” you say raising your eyebrows.

“Yea we’re like ambassadors to the Underworld... Hell most of the Realm’s. Everyone puts up with us as if they know the natural order is violated, then their entire town will be overrun by ghosts, spectres, insert whatever undead baddie you want. Basically we collect souls if they go past their time and make sure they stay dead.” The Reaper suddenly lunges over the bowl gagging, but doesn’t throw up. “Even the demons put up and respect us, as an undead infestation can be quite a pain for everyone involved.”

“So you kill ghosts and zombies?” you ask him as you put the kettle over the fireplace.

“I prefer the term, ‘escort to the afterlife’.” he replies.

“So do all Reaper’s have the ability to take a hit like you did last night? I mean this Mina Kazanari girl punched you so hard that she blew you up into the rafters, and even falling down from the top of the ceiling you seemed to be fine afterwards.” you reply.

“...No wonder if feels like a Bull has been stomping on my chest nearly all morning...” The Reaper says as he feels around his chest area. “I dunno the details, but something about the power of death and entropy allows us to be incredibly durable. We often need to be considering we’re expected to travel all over the place.”

“So you’re like the Aide Succubi?” you ask.
>>
>>22095987
If we drunk more we could get perfect double vision which is twice as cool.
>>
>>22096023

[3/3]

“Can’t say I know many Succubi types outside of Okarians.” the Reaper replies.

“Were you able to tell whenever the Mina girl last night was a Succubus? And how were you able to resist her emotion magic last night?” you ask him.

“All the emotional or social magic in the world can’t do shit against someone who won’t listen. Most likely I was so drunk that I was barely conscious, let alone able to hear anything she was saying.” The Reaper replies. “As for a Succubus... I’m not sure. I can’t remember. If she knocked me that hard then she’s definitely magical. If I had another look at her I could use my Reaper sight to see whenever or not she’s magical.”
>>
>>22096031

*use my Reaper sight to see whenever or not she's a Succubus... I think."

Damn spelling mistakes.
>>
>>22096031
"But there's a chance she might hit you with her magic this time, right? What then?"
>>
>>22096031
"Reaper Sight? What's that let you see? What do you know about magic and so on? I've been looking to learn more about it.

Also you talked in freaky metaphors last night. Do you usually call people black mushroom, cooked turkey, and talk about super words?"
>>
>>22096031
wait, what happens to the souls that get devoured by demons? Do they just, cease to exist?
>>
>>22096031
We should explain the whole of last night so that he actually knows the situation first.
>>
>>22096049
>>22096078

[1/3]

“Isn’t there a chance she’ll hit us with her magic again? If so, what’d we do then?” you ask the Reaper.

“Resist it. A lot of people are not used to social based magic like that since it’s quite subtle, but so long as it doesn’t inspire an emotion then you should be able to shake if off.” the Reaper replies.

“Why do you say that?” you ask as you take the kettle off the fire.

“...You mea- oh right you’re new to this.” the Reaper says giving himself a small smack on the head. “From the Okarians I’ve dealt with before, they told me all Okarians, for some reason, are easily swayed by any sort of magic that inspires them to feel emotions. Most of the Okarians I met were typically deadpan because of that, as they constantly tried to suppress their emotions.”

“...So you’re saying anyone with magic to sway emotions can simply snap their fingers and make me cry my eyes out!?” you’re not sure why the Succubi Queen didn’t mention this to you before.

“Relax, I said more easily swayed, not an absolute guarantee. This doesn’t apply to all social magic, just things that inspire emotions. Hell, it doesn’t even need to be magic. Just simple things to work up your emotions could also.” The Reaper explains.
>>
>>22096298
yea good idea.
>>
>>22096327

[2/3]

“...God damnit...” you sigh as you rub your forehead.

“Virtually all magical creatures have one or two cons. The way I see it is just something like having Diabetes you know? Just something you need to live with. If I say so myself you still get the better end of the deal compared to most others.” The Reaper says getting away from the toilet.

“What does Reaper Sight let you see?” you ask as you pass the Reaper the tea.

“Mainly, when someone will expected to die. It doesn’t tell me how or where, but rather how close someone is to death.” The Reaper says before sipping the tea. “It also allows me to see whenever or not a creature is magical or not as well. ...Also this tea ain’t bad...”

“Earl Grey.” You reply as you sip some yourself. Even if it isn’t filling for you anymore, something hot in the morning helps get you moving. “You also talked in odd metaphors last night. Do you mind explaining what you meant by things such as referring to me as a Black Mushroom about to turn into an orange mushroom, Mina as a cooked turkey, ‘super words’ and so on?”
>>
>>22096334

[3/3]

The Reaper looks at the dress hung up, the one Mary-Anne gave you. “Wearing the dress must’ve made you seem like a mushroom. Orange is typically the colour of... joy I think when one is happy. I may have gotten the colour wrong, but I think that’s what I meant. Super-words is just slang for any sort of supernatural social magic. As for cooked turkey... Your guess is as good as mine.” the Reaper says blowing on his tea.

“Do you know anything about magic?” you ask the Reaper.

The Reaper makes a ‘some’ symbol with his hand as he sips his tea. “I know a thing or two about Necromancy, not a lot though. I’m more of a physical type so I just mainly rely on a lot of my natural abilities. I have a bit of Darkness control, but not that much.”
>>
>>22096340
can he offer any tips for dankness control?
>>
>>22096340
TEACH US, SEMPAI-!

Uh, I mean, hey, we seem to have a bit of darkness control too, mind giving us a few tips?
>>
>>22096340
"I also have a bit of Darkness control and if there's anything you can teach me I'd appreciate it."
>>
>>22096369
>>22096368
>>22096397

“Anything you could teach me about Darkness control? I know how use a bit myself and was wondering if I could get any tips.” you ask.

“”I do actually yea. One of my favorite things to do is to use the gravity aspect of darkness magic to increase the mass of my scythe. It comes down and hits *quite* a bit harder than normally swinging it. Just be careful on the timing, as if you’re a split second too late, you’ll have trouble doing anything else with your weapon while it weighs several times more.”

(NEW UNIQUE SPELL: GRAVITY AXE CRUSHER. Using the power of gravity, your axe will hit much harder than it should for one attack. Okarians get the extra advantage of the axe also doing an extra bit of Darkness magic with each attack)

“Hm... That’ll probably come in useful then. Thanks.” you say.

“Least I could do after you helping me out of my fuck up last night.” he replies.
>>
>>22096504
"I appreciate it. So, do you have any plans for the day? Got any souls that need reaping?

It's my day off so I'm planning on being boring and reading some more before going out for a bite to eat, unless you have any better ideas."
>>
>>22096504

"Out of curiosity, what happens to a persons soul if I was to consume it?"
>>
>>22096640
>>22096700

[1/2]

“So what are you going to do for the rest of the day then? Find lost souls?” you ask.

He hesitates for a few seconds before replying. “...Yea I’ll get onto that later.”

“It’s my day off, so I was planning on doing some reading on a few topics before heading out for a bite to eat myself.” you mention before you pause sipping on your tea. “...What happens to the people whose souls I consume?”

“Less work for me. The souls you consume are diffused throughout your own soul. Same thing happens when mortals eat food, only there’s usually nothing left over. If the soul is powerful enough it may take you several days to digest.” The Reaper says this rather calmly. “It’s not destroying the soul, but rather recycling it’s aetheric to put it to another use. The 'identity' of the soul is pretty destroyed in the process however.”
>>
>>22096805

[2/2]

“Doesn’t this violate the natural order you guys seek to protect? You seem awfully calm about this.” you tell him.

“Predators eating prey is part of the natural order of things as well.” The Reaper explains finishing off the last bit of his tea.

So when you soul sucked those pirates they basically ceased to exist not only physically, but spiritually as well. You’re not quite sure how to think about that.
>>
>>22096813
"That's pretty harsh on whoever I eat considering there's an afterlife. I mean if their death meant their soul just diffused or something like that it'd be one thing, but me eating people keeps them out of heaven, or hell, or whatever.

What is the afterlife like? Are you allowed to tell us that or is it a bit of a trade secret?

You going to stick around town for a bit or do you have to travel somewhere else for your job?

By the way, I don't think I ever caught your name."
>>
>>22096813

so, simply put we have the ability to abolish the evil from one's soul. see, eating peoples souls is a public service, not only preventing evil souls from recycling, but also cleansing them of their sins...

also seconding >>22096879
>>
>>22096879
>>22096902

[1/2]

“That’s... Pretty harsh to deny people a chance to go to the afterlife. I mean if death just meant their soul diffused that’d be one thing, but to prevent them from going to heaven or hell just like that?” you mutter to yourself as you look at your reflection inside of your cup.

“I never put much thought into it myself. I mainly let the other guys do the philosophizing.” The Reaper says.

“...By the way, I never did get your name.” you say, just realizing that. “Are you allowed to talk about the afterlife at all?”

“Brodin.” The Reaper replies. “And the afterlife is... a lot more complex than many
realize. Basically souls can end up going to many places. Some souls reincarnate, some souls end up in Heaven or Nivarna, others end up in Hell. Even Reapers themselves can look vastly different depending on what ‘afterlife’ they work for, and may have different job descriptions than me. I do know that the Underworld is a place like purgatory hub world where lost souls from everywhere go and waste time before they move onto some afterlife of their choosing. Or stay there for eternity. Though why anyone would want to remain there puzzles me.”

“So it must be pretty difficult to get into one of the afterlives then...” you muse thinking on how each civilization could, in theory, have it’s own afterlife.
>>
>>22097129

[2/2]

“It’s easier than many people think. Fill out the proper paperwork and you could visit any of them. They tend not to enjoy strangers that much though.” Brodin replies.

“...Are you serious?” you ask.

“Yea. Reaper’s are allowed to visit any one of them they choose as well. The bars in Heaven are really nice but way too expensive for my paycheck.” Brodin replies.

“Are you going to stick around for a bit, or do you need to travel around for your job?” you ask Brodin.

“In all honestly, probably here. It was a pain getting here, so I’m going to kick back for next while. Probably until they bug me again to actually do my job.” Brodin replies.

“...You’re not afraid of them firing you?” you ask.

“Being a Reaper is a tenure job. Unless you do something grossly against the natural order of the ‘afterlife’ you work for, they’re generally pretty chill with anything you do. They can suspend my pay though, which does hurt.”
>>
>>22097134
what kind of pay do they use in the realms? one would think they have no need of mortal substances so some sort of credit system?
>>
>>22097134
"Alright, well you can crash here for now if you want. You seem like a nice guy and having a Reaper around could be helpful.

I'm going to get some reading and studying in, you need anything just let me know."

Read more about Succubus biology and bone up more on Magic theory and Demonology.
>>
>>22097249
>>22097264

[1/3]

“I find it kind of odd that the afterlives would have some sort of credit system. I mean shouldn’t they be beyond mortal needs?” you ask Brodin.

“You’re correct. They typically use credits for the same reason as down here, increase one’s quality of life. Some places use aether power as a form of currency, others use favors, etc... Heaven typically gives people money based on how many good deeds they’ve done in life. If you go to heaven as a visitor then prepare to be broke as hell, as the exchange rates are terrible for nearly every earthly currency I know of.” Brodin shakes his head at the last part.

“Well if you want, you’re more than welcome to crash in my place. Having a Reaper for a friend sounds like it’d be pretty useful.” you say.

“Thanks, I was going to sleep in the street as I don’t have enough for the hotels. And... yea we have our uses.” Brodin mentions.

“I’m probably going to be spending most of my time studying though, so I hope you don’t mind that.” you warn him.
>>
>>22097661

[2/3]

“As long as you don’t mind me using your bed. The tea was good but this hangover is still a bitch.” he says as he rubs his forehead.

“Just don’t throw up in the bed.” you warn him.

“Noted.” he says as he heads over to your bed and lies down.

Deciding that you want to learn more about your body in general, you open the book on demon biology and read the rest of it.

Succubi are usually stereotyped as being fragile demons, preferring social intrigue or others to do fighting for them. This however appears to be a major stereotype on Succubi in general. Succubi can fight as well as nearly any other demon out there. The myth that Succubi are slaves to their own lust is a rumor that is based on truth. Apparently the act of consuming a soul for a Succubus is something they take great pleasure in, apparently tasting much better than any other normal sort of emotion.
>>
>>22097672

[3/3]

The bit about breaking does seem to worry you though. It appears the Queen’s were largely right about it. In that if you willingly offer yourself, body and soul, to someone, then you have to obey their every order, in addition to these people reprogramming you however they please. The Succubus themselves has to mean it however. Casually saying, “I pledge my life and soul to you” won’t do anything. They truly have to mean it. Regrettably it doesn’t matter how a Succubus comes to this decision. They can be seduced into saying it, blackmailed, or tortured into it. Once a Succubus is broken, they tend to view their new master as their very god and will often do anything to protect them. Broken Succubi are immune to any mental or social magic that would compel them to willingly harm their own master. If their master dies, then a broken Succubus will become shattered. They will recover, but often take a long time. Depending on the personality rewrite, broken Succubi may eventually develop into a new person completely.

The rest of the book is fairly interesting, in where it breaks down the noble classes of a few other major subsections of demons, such as Pride, Sloth, Greed, Envy, and others.

(DEMONOLOGY RANK INCREASED TO GOOD!)

You finish the book a few hours later, the Reaper still out cold sleeping on your bed. As you close the book, you can hear your stomach rumbling. That’s right, you didn’t get that full of a meal last night from the Adamant Door pub before you left. Looking at your small wind up clock on your desk, you realize that it is about lunchtime. Many restaurants and pubs would be open now in order to serve people for lunch.
>>
>>22097684
They probably won't be as they are late at night, but better than nothing.

Are there any nice parks in the area, a park full of playing children and so on might make a good snack. While a library might have people, they might not be feeling the strongest emotions so that's not the best option.

Are there any populated markets, festivals, or anything like that going on? If we can't think of anything better a pub or park ought to work, if we do the park we can even bring a book along and read some.
>>
>>22097746

if there is nothing going on that does not require our direct input to generate emotion, we could always investigate Mina. see if we can find one of those mercs which got thrown out last night. we could try using shapeshift in combination with suggestion to attempt to create a 'seduce' ability.

i thought that this could be an ideal time to expand on our personal-social manipulation abilities...
>>
>>22097746

There are a few common playgrounds where children do gather. The most popular game is mainly pretending to play army, often mimicking the mercenaries fighting against the bad guys.

Right now a lot of the restaurants, tea houses, and pubs downtown would definately have a group at this time. Eating out is one thing that's commonly done here. Hell you barely have that much food in your house as whenever you needed food as a human it'd be a quick waltz downtown to see what, not if, you could find to eat. The constant shifts of the mercenaries always assure that some places are open 24 hours.

The bath house of the city is another good option. Fresh liquid water is something this town doesn't lack. There is even a hot spring which has been made into a city bath house. ...Although the issue this sex change makes you wonder what side you'd be sent to.

Another popular place would be the mercenary camps themselves. Lots of strong emotions could be there while they train you reckon, but you'd probably need to think up a reason why you'd need to head there.
>>
>>22097877
A bath does sound nice, we haven't had one since we got this new body. And we'd head to the female side, because we have tits now, and be able to ogle women.

Let's get the bath first, and then consider whether we should hit a populated restaurant/pub or the playground, I think at this time of day the playgrounds will have more emotion floating around.
>>
>>22097877

since we are a scholar, we would have little to no actual combat skill. we could initially go to the mercenary camps under the guise of finding someone to teach us how to fight. which might not be a bad idea to actually do, so we would not be lying when we tell them that that is our reason for visiting. feeding can be a hidden agenda in regards to the visit...
>>
>>22098009
This actually kills two birds with one stone, the ability to kill in close range combat as well as defend ourselves in such would be a great benefit even if most of the time we'll be using spells.

On top of that we get some good feeding in?

Plus exercise will make our ass look great.
>>
>>22098084
We're a succubus, our ass already looks great, and by great I mean fan-fucking-tastic. Same with our tits, legs, face, everything really.
>>
>>22098089
And exercise will not hurt that fact.
>>
go for some training and then some relaxing bath time

>>22097924

[1/3]

You just realized that you haven’t had a bath since you’ve gotten back as well. Normally bathing is something only the noble class does most often in most of the world. But the first Langy who discovered the hot spring declared that from now on the public would be able to use, in a move that seemingly baffled almost everyone. No complaints from anyone inside of the city however, as everyone seems to both enjoy and make good use out of it.

You head over and grab your soap before heading over to the bath house. The family in charge of the bath house, the Richardsons, have become quite wealthy over the generations, allowing an extremely large an ornate bath house. It is nearly two stories tall, marble pillars from the same style as the roman age appear to be on front with the entire bath house appearing to be a large white dome. Workers scrap off ice and snow from the top, with many people currently rushing in to quickly wash up before heading to dinner or rushing out in order to get to dinner on time.

You enter the main lobby area of the bath house, mainly a small tea house where people can relax a bit before drying off. You faintly taste a small sour sensation on your tongue. It isn’t revolting, but actually quite pleasant.

You head on up to the old woman at the front desk. “Uh... Excuse me. I had an... accident and I’m wondering what bath area I’d need to head into.” you say as you show her your doctors note.

you know we can par our scholarly nature with story teller. basically evoc emotions telling tails, maybe to kids.

i think we should avoid the inn for now as we have no idea if the other demon has claimed it as her domain. However we should talk to her at some point. starting to think she is the reason why we went to search for the alter. of course be careful as for all we know she could be an agent of the pride demons.
>>
>>22098253

[2/3]

The old woman adjust her glasses, carefully reading the note. “Hm... Interesting... You are still human right? No slime being generated from your skin?” Her tone indicates that she’s serious.

“No ma’am.” you reply to her.

“...I’d say mixed.” the old woman says handing you back the note.

...Mixed. You guess that makes sense. “Thanks.” you say paying the 2 silver 5 copper fee before heading in to get changed.

The changeroom is somewhat crowded at this time. You carefully head over to a corner hidden from sight in order to disrobe yourself. Once you’re done, you still find it hard to believe that this is actually your body. You’re somewhat embarrassed that you’re going in front of a whole lot of people absolutely naked.

“Relax... They’re just here for their own business too... They won’t even pay attention to you...” you keep telling yourself as you grab your soap and head into the bathhouse area.

The mixed bath is the largest part of the bath house. The middle of the room could be confused to be more like a pool instead of a tub. Steam fills the room as you can see fathers chasing after their kids with an elderly couple in swimwear laughing as they run by. Pillars similar to those found at the entrance can be seen all around the ‘tub’ area, and numerous other facets can be seen to help one clean up or actually rise off.
>>
>>22098260

[3/3]

However what immediately catches your eyes isn’t the naked women, but rather some mercs on the other end of the room sitting down in the soaking pool. Many of them appear to have minor cuts and bruises from all over their body. Even the one who bragged on the table the previous night is here in the hot tub, looking miserable as a large bandage can be seen on his right cheek.

Your heart skips a beat as you immediately dart for cover behind one of the columns. You’re not sure whenever or not these guys remember you last night. They were drunk, but not as much as the Reaper. But maybe they don’t remember? Even if things go bad, this IS a public place after all...

(I had a picture of the bath house, but I left it on my HD at home, ho hum...)

They probably won't recognize us, they either won't remember or they'll be too busy staring at our tits to really notice that we're the same person.

But just to be safe don't approach them. Stay on the other side of the pool when we soak, if we don't draw their attention to us they won't really notice us.

“Crapcrapcrapcrap...” you say as you quickly head back towards the changing room without them seeing you. That was a bit close. You don’t want to take the risk of them seeing you, especially not after what happened at the bar last night.

But then you remember. They don’t need to see *you*. You can just use your shapechanging powers to alter yourself.

Carefully looking around to make sure no one else is watching, take a deep breath as you begin to concentrate on changing your features, something so that you don’t look like your old self.

Your body responds to your whims. You can feel your height going down a few inches along with a bit of your bust. Your hair grows to a length that is about your shoulder blades before it turns raven black. You try and set your eyes to become a green colour, and hope that they did.

“Ah... Ah... Aaaahhhhh....” you say as you test your voice, discovering that you no longer sound like your old self. Perfect. With this there is most likely no way for them to discover who you are, even if they remembered.

As you begin to move, you can still feel that ‘sucked in’ feeling you had from before. It’s smaller than it was before, but still noticeable. You’re not sure why this is the case, but it’s easy to shake off for now.

You re-enter the bath house, keeping the mercs in sight out from the corner of your eye. So far it seems to be working, as they mainly continue to keep talking amongst each other about work related things. There is too much noise to accurately hear their soft talking though.
>>
>>22098406
Cool, let's clean ourself up, take our bath, all that jazz, and if there's any ambient emotion we can get a snack.

We could approach the mercs and talk about the training idea, but if we did that we'd have to keep the shapechange up for all of the training and that seems like a hassle. There's a lot of mercs, the chance of us running into these particular ones again seems pretty low.

Is there anyone else interesting in here?
>>
>>22098435

You wash yourself off a bit before heading over to soak a bit in the hot tub. However it does seem to take a while before finding any kind of flavor that isn’t just a bare hint. Apparently a small group of noble women who are simply just relaxing in a small hot tub. You sit just a small distance away from them, enjoying the sour flavor that seems to come into your mouth.

There is the noble women (roll to better find out who they are), the mercs from before, Roger from the library, and you think that may be about all the notable people you can see.

It takes you a few seconds to cross check before realizing exactly who they are. You remember these girls now. Two of them are Langy nobles and the other one is a Richardson girl. The Richardson’s are not technically official nobles according to the city, but rather considered honorary ones. They’re the ones in charge of the majority of the water for the city, and make a good profit off of selling it to merchants who actually bother to come, but mainly mercenaries.

Going a bit closer to the mercs, you can definitely taste some aspect of a spicy flavor to them as well. You try to wonder what all these flavors could me. You know each one is a particular emotion, but the book you read said nothing about what emotions taste like what.

“Hhheeeyyy little girl... I haven’t seen your pretty face here at the tub before.” one of the mercs says, breaking off and slowly making his way over to you. He has a wet towel wrapped around his lower half, same thing with most of your body actually.

Well it’s certainly good news, this one guy doesn’t seem to know who you are. However you are unsure how to act in this situation, especially since you can taste a spicy flavor from him that is very slowly getting more intense.
>>
Why won't we train our social skills? Talking to mercs and seducing them could prove interesting, if we could make 2 or 3 fall in love with us, we can feed on them for weeks to come. Also they can give us some benefits like free pass into barracks, giving interesting rumours and expensive gifts for a dates.

You wonder about this for a few seconds. You remember the few girlfriends you’ve had in the past and remember all the attention you had to dote on them. Indeed, being friends with mercenaries could give you other benefits like access to the barracks, gifts, gossip, food, and more.

“H-hi, I’m Sarah. Yea I guess you can say I’m pretty new around these parts.” you say while blushing. You can hardly believe you’re doing this, but at this point you’re quite hungry so you’re willing to put up with some embarrassment.

“Name’s Lance cutie-pie.” the man says as he sits next to you. “So what brings a little thing like you all the way up here?” He brazenly puts his arm behind your back. You can feel the spicy flavor continuing to build up in your mouth.

“Well... My job is that I mainly do what I can to help out around the library. I’m an apprentice of sorts, and I’m studying to be a scholar.” you reply.

“A cute little thing like you being a scholar? Well that’s certainly one job that wouldn’t put you in harms way.” Lance comments.

“Yea... But all those books can get *so* heavy at times, especially when you need to carry like a dozen.” you complain.
>>
>>22098831

[2/2]

“Pfft, don’t worry about that. If you need some help lifting books then I’d be MORE than happy to provide assistance!” he says giving his other arm a small flex.

“Well... I was actually kind hoping if you guys could teach me how to get stronger or probably how to use a weapon. You see I may have to do field work coming up soon, and I’d like to be ready just in case.” you says.

“Woah, woah let me stop you there for a second sweet pea. Fighting other people is fairly nasty work. If you need someone to help protect you while you’re out, then don’t be afraid to specifically ask for and hire me by name!” Lance brags

Wow. You can’t believe he managed to both plug himself AND hit on you at the same time. Quite an accomplishment. “Oh please! I... have this phobia of sorts. I don’t want to be a he-man such as your self, but I don’t want to be the completely helpless damsel either. Couldn’t you please ask if you and your friends could help train me? Just a little?” you ask, rubbing up against his arm and using your supernatural compulsion to overkill the deal.

“Well... When you put it that way I can definately see what you mean...” he says agreeing to the deal. “But on one condition.”

“And that is?” you ask.

“You agree to come on a small little dinner and date with me later on tonight.” he says, this time putting his arm around your shoulder.

Hey, keeping him around is free emotions. And having an identity that is on good terms with the local mercs is always good.

"Okay Lance, you can take me to dinner. I promise nothing except a lovely dinner, everything else depends on you.

I'll see you later around 4, I can learn some things and then you can take me to dinner. Sound like a plan? Which camp are you staying at? There an easier way of finding you again other than asking everyone for Lance?"

Maybe we should say hi to the noble ladies, social connections are always nice.

“Sure, is 6:00 fine?” you ask him.

“8:30 actually. I get off my shift at 8. Could you meet me in front of the Crimson Bear’s lobby at that time?” Lance asks.

“Sure. I look forward to night.” you say, accidentally letting loose a small giggle, mainly from how stupidly easy this is turning out.

“Can’t wait...” he says as his hand moves down your back, across the towel and across your right butt check. Even through the cloth, you can’t help but jump away at the sensation. The taste of his ambient emotion seems to get the most intense at this one point.

“Ah ha ha! No getting fresh before then!” you warn him, but in rather in a playful tone.

Lance simply laughs as throws up his arms. “My bad, my bad!”

“See you later.” you say as you swim off towards the noble girls. Truth be told that whole thing went a lot more easier than you thought it would. Granted it was somewhat akward for you and completely different from normal, but you think it wasn’t that hard.

“...By all means.” one of them replies.

“Thanks! I just recently moved in here at Fort Hope. My name is Sarah.” you tell them.

“And what do you bring to Fort Hope?” The Richardson girl replies. “We get peasants here all the time who are testosterone loaded bulls or harlots hoping to leech a gold off of them.”

“I’m training to be a Scholar.” you tell her.

“Oh? Then let’s see your skill. Tell me about something then. Even as an apprentice, you should know a few details in some field. How about explaining how the geography of this area changed since the Scouring? Your mathematical knowledge? Or how about tales from the Old World or Demonic history?” The Richardson girl asks.

Anyway, perhaps we could impress them by tying all their chosen topics together somehow? Comment on the Scouring and the Aetheric energies it brought to the planet, leading to weather changes across the globe (particularly noticeable along the leylines), which played havoc on the world economy and society in general. Of course, in hindsight we know that the energies fluctuated in a rough modulus-sinusoidal variation, and learned scholars today can thus predict weather patterns with some accuracy.

You begin to talk about the various subjects you know of, but it seems as if these girls are extremely hard to please. History of both the old world and demonic, poetry, Aetheric theory, math, nearly nothing you do seems to impress them.

“You certainly do know a broad range of subjects, but not entirely useful.” the Richardson girl says.

“Well, the last thing I know of is Demonology. A bit of my speciality in some ways.” you admit. “But I’m no-”

“How much do you know?!” one of the Langy girls immediately cuts you off.

“Erica no! Uncle Langy said we’d learn about that when the time is proper!” the other Langy girl clutches onto her shoulders, a concerned expression on her face.

“Uncle has been deliberately telling our tutors to teach and less and less about demons in general. They rule us, and yet we know nothing about them!? That hardly makes any sense don’t you think?” Erica tells the other Langy girl.

“Hm... I admit now I’m somewhat curious myself...” The Richardson girl says.

A choice floats in your head, wondering whenever or not you should talk to the girls about this apparently taboo subject to them.
>>
>>22099280
"Well, if your uncle forbids tutelage of demonology, then a humble scholar such as I should hardly be one to contradict him.
"Of course, it would not be inconceivable that a casual question or two related to the topic could come up in casual conversation..."

The Richarson and Erica huddle together, with the third Langy girl staying out of the huddle as she seems too scared to join in on this conversation.

The two girls then break away from the huddle, before turning back to you, the Erica speaking up first. “Well for one you’d have a favor from the member of the noble house of Fort Hope, that alone could get you into many places in the city if you felt like it.”

“First! What can you tell us about demons Enlightening other humans!? Is there some kind of process one needs to do? How much control would it give the demon who Enlightened you?” Erica asks.

“Erica my dear, you’re thinking too small.” The Ricardson girl says chuckling. “How about we skip the middle and just ask how would one become a demon themselves. I mean I’ve only heard tales from the merchants themselves, but I’d like to know if there is any truth behind such matters.”

Meanwhile the third Langy girl is nervously looking around, paranoid about anyone accidentally overhearing the subject material.

You certainly know the answers to all of these questions (especially the turning into a demon part). When a Demon Enlightens a human it basically gives them near total control over them. They keep their being alive, but the demon has them on a metaphysical choke collar, a more brute force Aide situation but the mortal in question could still hate the demon.

As for Enlightenment it involves you selling your soul to a Demon. I believe your Uncle has done this. Should the Demon wish it they can have pretty much total control over the person they Enlighten, I wouldn't suggest it personally.

“Yea you’re most likely correct about that.” Amanda replies.

“If you want to know more I can give... private lessons.” you mention to both of them in a hushed whisper. “But you’ll need to start from the beginning. If you don’t learn things in the proper order then it will become very dangerous very quickly.”

“My schedule is fairly open in the afternoons once I am done my job on the weekdays, and the weekends are fairly open for me, so I can spare however many days you want. As for the location, we’d definitely need some place that is both private and quiet.” you tell them.

“The Nobleman Teahouse is a good spot. It’s a business that is based off of ours, so they’ll be able to get us a private room and refreshments to do whatever we please.” Richardson replies.

“I’d like to start today, but calling off my meetings would only seem fishy... are you fine with meeting up tomorrow after six?” Erica asks.

“That time would be perfect for me.” you tell them.

“Excellent!” Both Amanda and Erica reply, grabbing your hand and shaking it. “We both look forward to the meeting!”

“A bit later than we originally predicted, but no matter. Much good has some from it. Until we meet again Sarah.” Amanda smiles before leaving the bath.

“Have a good day Lady Sarah.” Erica says as she gets out of the tub, the other Langy girl closely following behind her.

Turning them into our own little cabal could be nice, might be able to efficiently drain them without killing them and have a nice consistent food-source that is devoted to us and can get us money and make use of their noble positions on our behalf.

Hell they might be able to bring more girls interested in the occult in and expand it some for us, throw in a few ritual orgies to snack on the lust and to promote inter-group loyalty and dependence and bam, we've got a good thing going.

I wonder if we can half drain souls with a kiss, and I wonder how the victim feels when we do that.

You smile to yourself as you stretch in the tub. You got quite a fair bit done today. Being in the favor of a noble family and powerful merchant family can be quite the advantage. ...But however you’re still rather hungry. Even the intense lust from Lance earlier was basically only a snack compared to the full blown meal that you actually need.

You head out of the bath, shapeshifting back into your original form before heading out to find something like a bar. Hopefully there will be enough ambient emotions in the air to feed on for you to get a decent meal.

As you walk by, still in cloud nine from your earlier success, you walk by a pub only to see Brodin hunched over a table, about six mugs of booze around him. As from before, you can see people keeping one table away from him but the pub is otherwise packed. Your eyes rotate up to the sign, only to see that it’s the Adamant Door.

“...Oh come on...” you whimper as you look up at the sign. Last time Brodin attacked Mina, and you’d rather this not happen again.

You storm into the bar, going over to Brodin’s table and slamming both hands on the table. “And what do you think you’re doing back here again!?”

“Ah! Uh... Imma... I’m sworry police angel... I’ll move along...” Brodin says in a slurred voice as he tries to get back up.

“Uh... Yea bar... bar... short man took my scythe for weapon check. I get it back when I leave. Not that it matters... I can teleport it to my hand!” Brodin laughs into his sleeve as he pounds on the table.

“Lord help me...” you mutter as to sit down at a table and rub your eyes. Your hand reaches out and tugs on the clothing of a waitress passing by. “Give me a mug of Rocky Mountain Ale.”

“Oh hey! It’s the woman and the Reaper from last night!” A rather chipper voice replies.

You shoot your face up in fear, only to be met with the smiling face of Mina her, carrying a whole roasted pig platter in one hand and six mugs of ale in the other. She’s still dressed in the same style closes as the night before, a blue and white Chongasm.

“It’s the turkey!” Brodin says pointing at her. “Hello talking Turkey!”

Don't ask me about his drunken ramblings, I'm still undecided as to whether they're prophetic riddles or if he's just drunk and strange.

Where did you learn to fight like that? I've never seen anything like it."

question, did we return to our normal form? i would hate to realise that we are going round acting as Brooklyn while in the Sarah form...

You did transform back into Brooklyn yes.

>>22100072
We did. We changed back when we left the bath house.

Once we stack on a few more identities it's going to be fun to juggle them.

>>22100077

you know that eventually we are going to walk into the bar, shapeshifted into a completely different person and start talking to everyone as Brooklyn, then wonder why everyone is confused as hell...

[1/2]

“H-hi there Mina! So nice to see you again! Please forgive my friend Brodin over here. He’s drunk... again.” you say to her.

“Na na... I... I’s just a widdle tipsy...” Brodin corrects you.

“You’re piss loaded and you know it!” You say to him banging your fist on the table. “Anyways forgive him, he won’t cause any trouble again. Right Brodin?”

“Ah sure! No problems! ...No problems unlike cats! I HATE those things... Piss everywhere and those extra lives... Ugh...” Brodin sighs.

Mina just laughs as she hears this conversation. “You two are like an old married couple! Anyways let me go deliver this order and I’ll be right back with yours!”

It only takes Mina a few minutes to go drop off the pig and ale to a merc group before coming back to your table with a mug of ale. “Is there any reason why he calls me a turkey and you a mushroom though?” Mina asks, taking a seat while passing you ale.

“...I have no idea whenever this utterings are prophetic riddles or whenever they’re the ramblings of a drunk. They stump even me and I’m supposed to be a Scholar.” you mention.

“Oh! A Scholar! That means you know a lot of things right!?” Mina asks in a giddy tone.

“I’m not omniscient but I try.” you say while sipping the foam off the top of the ale, before taking a mouthful yourself.
>>
>>22100138

[2/2]

“Good! Good!” Mina smiles as she looks around, before leaning in close and whispering in your ear. “So do you know a thing or two about demonic contracts?”

As soon as you hear this you take away the mug and spit your drink out from what you’ve just heard. “W-what!?” you choke.

“Hey! Don’t waste the brown strong water! It’s good for fighting off the cold!” Brodin says pointing at you before wiping off the ale from his head.

“W-well I was kinda wondering about such a thing, and since we don’t get many scholars in here I hoped you know a thing or two about them.” Mina says pressing her two index fingers together.
>>
>>22100143
Quietly, so no one can overhear.

"I know a thing or two about them, I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I know more than most.

I'm guessing this is something we should talk about in private. It seems like that kind of subject."
>>
>>22100143
"Well, I know a /little/, but honestly not that much Is there anything I can try to answer for you?"
>>
>>22100174

“While I wouldn’t call myself an expert, I know more about them than most other people do. But I think we should talk about this in private, as this seems like the kind of thing that should.” you whisper to her.

“BOSS, I’M TAKING MY BREAK!” Mina yells out over to the Dwarf behind the counter.

“Mina, ye killin me ‘ere lass! Ye got 10 minutes, all I can spare!” the bartender Dwarf warns her.

“More than enough, thanks!” Mina says grabbing you by the arm and pulls you up the stairs. It feel almost as if your arm is being pulled out of your socket.

“Well I... Don’t mind if I do.” Brodin says grabbing the mug you left behind on the table and starts to gulp it down.

Mina quickly takes you upstairs to what appears to be some sort empty guest room before locking the door behind her. “Alright, I need to know how one would get out of a demonic contract! You see I have a friend who’s... kinda a demon and she made a stupid mistake, and now she’s been stuck in a contract for a long time. She wants out of it, but the person she made the contract doesn’t know she’s a demon and if he does then EVERYTHING will become JUST horrible and... and... And I don’t know what to d- help her! Please Mrs. Scholar, you’ve got to help me on this one!” Mina says shaking you desperately, making as if you’re being battered in a hurricane.

“Mina Mina please calm down!” you tell her as you try to pull yourself away from her death grip. “Demonic contracts are almost always to the word and never the intent. Do you know the exact wording of her contract? If we do, then we can work on finding a way out of it.”

“Well... I don’t know... I-I mean she told me what her contract was b-but.... I’m not sure if I should say...” Mina says stammering while pressing her index fingers together nervously.
>>
>>22100272

We would need to know if we are to help.
>>
>>22100272

why do i have a feeling that Mina is accidental bound to the bar keep?
>>
>>22100272
"It's not Mrs. Scholar, it's Brooklyn.

Mina, in my life I have learned many things. One of these is that whenever someone comes to advice for a 'friend' they're talking about themselves. It was reasonably obvious from your performance last night and beating up a dozen goons and a Reaper that you aren't normal. Don't worry, I'm not going to rat on you or anything like that. I'm here to help.

If you want me to be able to help you need to tell me as much as possible. What exact variety of Demon are you? I have a decent guess as to the general category but I'd like to confirm my guess and get more detail.

What is the exact wording of the contract? I can't help you get out of it if I don't know what the wording is. Did you accidentally bind yourself to the barkeep somehow?"
>>
>>22100272
can she make it any less obvious its herself she's talking about? evidently this succubutt dont have skills in suggestion

"It's not Mrs. Scholar, it's Brooklyn. Mina, in my life I have learned many things. One of these is that whenever someone comes to advice for a 'friend' they're talking about themselves. I have a decent guess as to the general category but I'd like to confirm my guess and get more detail.” you tell her.

“Ha ha... Ha ha ha...” Mina says giving forced laughs. “I-I guess I couldn’t fool you huh? Very well... But promise that you won’t tell anyone!”

“I promise.” you tell her.

Upon uttering those words, two wings seem to come out of Mina’s back, followed by the rapid growth of two large horns that curl slightly forward on her head, followly lastly by a tail between her legs, one with a spade tip.

“I’m actually a Succbus of the Belkarian caste. Now before I continue, please don’t listen to the history! We’re not slaves to the Pride Demons! I’ve been trying to avoid them years, and this place up here seemed like a good place to hide from them! We’re people just like everyone else in the Realms, and we have rights too!” Mina tells you in a slightly raised voice.

“I’m a Scholar, part of my job is separating the factual information from the propaganda. Now, how exactly did you ‘accidently bind’ yourself? Binding a demon is usually a fairly tricky process, and if anyone here can pull that off then they’re probably in line to getting a commendation from Lord Arcitus.” you tell her.
>>
>>22100453

[2/2]

“Well you see Belkarians can enter... demi-contracts of sorts. If a Belkarian promises they’ll do something, then they’re honor bound to do so. We can still ignore the contract or go against it, but if we do then we enter a REAL big depression for some time and... Well I prefer to be here rather than going over that again! But... It kinda started when I was happy that I finally go here after coming from nearly all the way over from the Asian lands, and decided that I wanted to live it up a little you know? Anywho the barkeep looked to be a nice man, so I promised to help him out with running the bar.” Mina says.

“Without specifying and end duration for the contract?” you ask.

“Yes! Exactly! Worse I told him I wouldn’t even leave! I’ve been stuck here for nearly two years now! You’ve got to help me Ms. Sc- Brooklyn! Please!” Mina says bowing in front of you, hands clasped in front of you begging for help.

Well this solution is easy. The two easier ways you can think of is either the bartender dies, as Mina said she’d help him only, or he simply agrees to release her from the contract.
>>
>>22100459
Well, we should probably ask her which of the two she'd prefer. I honestly don't think the barkeep would be very willing to let her go, but she might not be too keen on killing him either. Lay out her options for her. We aren't going to force her decision.
>>
>>22100459
use seduction and suggestion to get the barkeep to release her, alternative is get bro-reaper to defend the poor talking turkey from the mean barman, persuade him that with the barman out of the way he can have ALL the drinks
>>
>>22100459
we are so totally getting a succubutt waifu/bodyguard out of this
>>
>>22100459
"Well, easiest way would be to off the dwarf, but I like his ale so that's right out.

Mina, I'm pretty sure I can pull this off, get him to release the contract on you, hell he doesn't even know you have a semi-binding contract.

After I get you free there is going to be some stuff I'll need to discuss with you but that can wait. Give me a bit to wheedle the barkeep, what's his name anyways, into it and we'll be good to go."
>>
>>22100499
welp, this anon needs to head to bed, 2am here, also whatever plan is the best to resolve this peacefully gets my vote
>>
>>22100459
Well I was thinking that we could fool the dwarf into letting Mina go. I could be a simple case of getting him to say "You can go." to Mina
>>
>>22100572
My idea was to talk to the barkeep, with a healthy dose of suggestion, say that we saw Mina fight, that we're a scholar and that we need a bodyguard. We don't really trust the Mercenaries but we know that we'd feel safe going out on an expedition with Mina. But that there's a problem, she says that she promised to work here and she's real big on promises and doesn't want to leave you without a singer or waitress. Then give him the puppy dog eyes, let him look down our shirt, throw suggestion at the problem and ask him to tell Mina that she's free to go. Make sure he knows she'd still come and sing when she could of course, and bam as >>22100510 said succubutt waifu/bodyguard.
>>
“This sounds to be the case in where your contract is tied to the barkeep. There are two ways out of this. One way is for him just to verbally cancel the contract, as this works in nearly every kind of case. The second is that since the contract is tied to helping him and him alone, then killing him would also nullify the contract.” you explain.

“No! Mr. Ironfist is a good man!” Mina exclaims.

“Yea I like his ale, so that option is off the table.” you tell her. “Well we just to get him to release the contract he has over you. Hell he isn’t even aware of the contract he has of you.”

“So you’ll help!?” Mina asks, sounding excited.

“Yes, but once we’re done there are some things I’d like to talk to you about in private. What can you tell me about Ironfist?” you ask.

“Oh Mr. Ironfist is a good man! I get along great with him as he used to be a martial art enthusiast just like me! This bar is basically his pride and joy, and he’s really happy with all the help he’s given me over the years. However he’s also a very keen businessman! He isn’t the kind of person to put money ahead of everything else, but he definitely wants to see his bar prosper and stay afloat! I’m mainly worried that since I’ve been so good with helping him out, he wouldn’t want to let me go and... well you know what they say about dwarves and stubborness...” Mina says.

Your mind begins to churn to see if you can think of any idea how to get Mina out of this mess.
>>
>>22100604
what if she ask him if she dont have to help him because she has a thing to do four a couple of days
>>
>>22100604
I suggested >>22100601

He seems like a nice guy, we might even be able to throw in offers of going up on stage with her if we can sing, helping him find someone else.

We might actually not even need to go that far. I'm thinking the contract is an all or nothing deal, he frees her of what he sees as one part of it she is free. So we say we want to take her out shopping or something like that but she said she had to finish her shift. Then do the looking cute, seductive, and suggestion thing and ask Mr. Ironfist to tell her that she's "free to go".
>>
>>22100601

[1/3]

“Alright I’ll go talk to Ironfist and see if I can work out some sort of deal.” you tell Mina as you head for the door.

“Oh thank you so much! I want to get out of here so badly!” Mina says grabbing you before you reach the door, hugging so tight that you can swear you hear some things in your body pop.

“MINATOTIGHTTOTIGHT!” you gasp before Mina lets you go.

“Ehehe... Sorry...” she says rubbing the back of her head.

Before you leave the room, you remove the collar part of your dress, opening it up a bit so that you show a bit of cleavage, stuffing it into your pocket. You take a small breath as you expand your cleavage just a tiny bit. You expected to make your clothing feel tight, but for some reason it doesn’t feel like that at all. In fact it feels as if your bra and clothing expanded to fit your newly sized body.

(Shapeshifting up! Clothing will now alter itself in order to comfortably fit any form you’re in, such as when growing wings the clothing will shift in order to let the wings though.)

You head down to the bar, walking down the bar stool and taking a seat. “Eeexcuse me, Bartender!” you say flagging him down.
>>
>>22100789

[2/3]

“...If it’s about giving ye friend more drinks, the answer is no. I don’t want yer Reaper friend trashin me pub.” the Dwarf says.

“Ha ha... no not that at all. You see Mr. Ironfist I’m a Scholar of sorts and I’ve been looking for a new bodyguard to help me explore the ruins, and after seeing Mina last night I wanted to employ her services. But the thing is she’s *really* big on her promises. She promised to work for you, so that leaves us at a bit of a crossroads, doesn’t it?”

“...A wee bit yes.” Ironfist says, pausing in the middle of the mug he’s cleaning. “Out wit it then, what do ye want?”

You lean over the bar, exposing the cleavage of your dress while giving him big puppy dog eyes. “Can I pppllleeeaaassseee take Mina with me to help investigate the ruins, so can’t you just cut her some slack?” you say trying to do your best puppy dog eyes.

(Rolling 1d100+15 [stunt] + 20 [suggestion] against difficulty 70. Result: 41. 41+15+20 = 76 > 70. Typing new part)
>>
>>22100805

[3/4]

“Y-yea... Yea I think that’s easy enough to do fer ya lass.” Ironfist says staring into your cleavage rather than at your face.

You simply smile at his response. “Thanks, this will make me feel much safer exploring the ruins.” you tell him.

“Mina! Get yer arse over here!” Ironfist calls out.

“Yes! What is it boss?!” Mina asks.

“I’m sorry to say this lass, but it’s time for ye to get out and explore the world a bit. I can’t keep ye caged up in good conscience any longer. Hell I’m an adventurer myself and I should’ve known that ye may’ve wanted to go.” Ironfist says.

“B-boss!” Mina says gasping.

“Don’t worry lassie, I’ll be fine. Now git out of ‘ere before I change me mind.” the Dwarf says.

“Oh thank you so much Mr. Ironfist! I’ll never forget all the kindness you’ve shown me over the years!” Mina says diving behind the counter, picking up the dwarf and hugging him in a death grip. Unlike you Ironfist doesn't even seem to flinch from the death grip.
>>
>>22100888

[4/4]

“Yes yes now put me down lass! I got bills to pass out from people who just had lunch!” Ironfist says.

“I’ll go up and get my things!” Mina says rushing upstairs to her room.

“...Just as Destinaverat...” you mutter. Destinaverat means plan.

(MAGIC UP! SUGGESTION! Pick an additional effect you wish to put on Suggestion power!

A) Duration up! : Success is measure in terms days instead of hours
B) Hidden Message!: When you give a suggestion, you can hide the suggestion rather than mention it in words. (EX: If your say, “Gee it’s a nice day, isn’t it?”, you can actually make the Suggestion of “Kill Timmy for me.” People around you will be shocked when the person you talked to suddenly runs off and kills the man next door)
C) Logic Override: Suggestion no longer needs to be reasonable, however you still cannot order people to kill themselves or do blatantly suicidal actions.
D) The More the Merrier!: Suggestion now works on crowds for extra Aether [Based on crowd size, not each individual person])

I like B, Hidden Message. It seems really useful.

It lets us order people to do things without anybody being able to blame us, it lets us order stuff within a normal conversation and it not be tracked back to us. Being able to hide orders within a conversation about the weather seems really useful.

Question about it, does the person we ordered to, for example, kill Timmy know that we ordered them to. If we hid the message "Kill Timmy, he's sleeping with your wife behind your back" in a conversation about paint colors would they think that we told them this or would they not track it back to us?

Just according to Destinaverat. Though destino's meaning is closer to binding, prediction or fate than plan.

Night, sleep well. We just got ourself a succubutt bodyguard, who we may or may not waifu to an inordinate degree.

We should probably tell her about our own succubus nature when we get a good chance, you don't withhold this kind of intel from your bodyguard.

With her on our side we've got a lot of stuff covered. We can do good single person persuasion, Mina can do crowd emotion swaying with her songs. We can magic the fuck out of things and she can punch anything that comes near us in the face. Synergy!
>>
>>22100952

The victims themselves would not know where the influence would come from. They'd make up the most reasonable way in their mind of why they followed the order you gave them.

As for detecting Suggestion, it is not normally detectable. People with some sort of supernatural vision would be able to tell you were trying to mindram them if you fail to influence them at this stage.

C, they're all pretty nice, but more options of what we can make someone do will be important, no matter what we take after that.
>>
>>22100902

i think that the 'Hidden Message' is a preferable upgrade at this time, as it allows us to remain dis-connected from the situations we engineer.
using the merc fight suggestion, someone could have heard what we said and make a connection, however with hidden message, we would be seen talking about unrelated matters, thusly no real connection can be made.
>>
B
>>
>>22100902
They're all pretty good options. I think I'm going to go with B for subtlety. We're at a subtle stage. Things like crowd control and ridiculous orders will be more useful to get later when we're not trying to hide any more.

>>22100951
What to do next is reveal our nature to Mina and try and recruit her. She doesn't have to help us just because we told the dwarf she would - she hasn't actually agreed to anything yet. Shouldn't be too hard to get her to help now that she owes us a massive favour though.
>>
>>22101937

And our goal of overthrowing the pride demon basterds should also help get her on our side...
>>
>>22101937
we could always take her to the shrine and intruduce her to queens

>>
>>22100902

C)
And yea, we should reveal ourselves to Mina, recruit her to our cause of ridding this world of Pride demons. Plus, having a more experienced Succubus on our side will come with tons of benefits. (easier feeding time for one). And eventually bring her to meet our queens.
And we should work on those girls we promised to teach. Slowly indoctrinating them into demon (us) worshipers, maybe even eventually have them turned into our Succubi (demons lords need to have lower demons).
Eventually getting an Aide Succubus of our own, would be great.
As for the Merc guy? I guess we can exploit him for now. But as >>22098726
said, no making out or sexing. But I imagine he will outlive his usefulness. (unless we get to have him enlightened and thus gain a mortal slave in mercenary ranks).
>>
>>22102088
I think we've got plenty of time because it doesn't seem like that bar scene took very long. We should probably get some more female clothes though. Something a bit less 'servant girl' and more 'attractive woman on a date'. As nice as mushroom dress is we can't wear it all the time. Also underwear.
>>
What do other demons eat? How does a Pride demon get its aetheric energy? Our methods seem pretty Lust-demon-specific.
>>
>>22102212

We have to check out how much we can adjust with out new-found powers clothing. Since, you know, slowly we should become classy demon. I don't want to be adventurer demon with magical ring on every finger and some tramp boots with holes in them.
>>
>>22102692
At the moment it just changes size to fit I think, so we can't change the style. Maybe when we develop the power more.

Oh yeah, we STILL haven't eaten properly. We keep trying and keep getting distracted. We should get around to that.

in regards to introducing our true self to Mina, this scenario should take place at our home.

"During my research, i have come across a most interesting rumor. It suggests that there is a hidden shrine to a group of Succubus queens. I wanted to know if this was just a myth or if there is some credibility to it."

the next part depends upon the answer Mina gives us.

A - she is aware of the shrine/queens being real
"Well, in that case i have a preposal for you. I have happened upon the location of their shrine, however i am not that skilled in combat so i find myself in need of a combat capable traveling companion. I am aware that Belkarians have the greatest offensive power out of all the succubus clans, I mean no disrespect to you in saying this, but I know that the Aides clan have the greatest defensive power, though their need for a master is an unfortunate downside to that power. Regardless, I would like you help in pacifying a nearby Ice Pirate base with the intent of offering them to the Queens. Having to go 352 years and 8 months without even an inkeling of Spiritual or Aetheric energy..."
At this point she should be questioning why we want to sacrifice them to the Queens. We will answer this by letting out our horns, wings and tail and saying, "because my dear Mina, they have instructed me to release them from their confinement and take control of this world from the damnable Pride demons."

B - she is not aware of the shrine/queens being real
"It is just that I have happened upon the location of this mythic shrine. Mayhap you would like to accompany me on my expidition and I would be apreciative of a traveling companion. I am aware that Belkarians have the greatest offensive power out of all the succubus clans, so I would also like to request your assistance in pacifying a nearby Ice Pirate base for the purpose of offering them to the Queens. Having to go 352 years and 8 months without even an inkeling of Spiritual or Aetheric energy..."
At this point she should be questioning why we want to sacrifice them to the Queens. oh dear though of some terrible combo using darkness and light.

if you can create enough gravity to trap light you can pore a ridiculous amount of light energy into a black hole then detonate it..... basically a nova requiring many turns to power but completely devastating. (will not be able to do for a while but an idea on the back burner)

We could learn some combat from her. But honestly I don't think it's really worth it for us to focus much on it, we're a magic specialist, we get all sorts of bonuses for learning magic and so on. Our Demonic Resilience is on the low end of the scale, we don't have any special aptitude for martial combat, and any effort we put into learning to punch someone is effort we're not putting towards SUPREME COSMIC POWER.
>>
>>22107013
you know, I thought there would be some magic metaskills of sorts. To complement combat skills. (like quick casting or something).

So, about the sheets, maybe you shoulçd put them on one of those spreadsheets Google offers. This way youn keep all sheets together in the same place, each one in a different tab.

If you also need to make note of something nice/interesting or something we should know of, you can make a tab for it too.
>>
>>22107176

Tempting. I'll fool around with them a bit before deciding though. Mainly using Google docs as I know how to use those.

“Ah! It’s so nice to be back outside again!” Mina stretches as she heads outside next to you. A large travellers backpack can be seen on her back.

“Yea I can imagine after spending so long inside of that place.” you say as you adjust Brodin, who is currently leaning on you.

“And now the world is ripe to explore again! All the miracles and wonders just ripe for the taking! But first I want to explore this town a bit!” she exclaims.

“If you want you could stay at my place. I already have a Reaper shacking up with me so the more the merrier.” you reply.

“Oh thanks! This saves me quite a bit of trouble of needing to spend money on a hotel!” Mina says as you begin to lead her towards your place.

You enter your house first, taking Brodin and putting him on the bed.

“Aaahhh! What a nice place you’ve got here! It’s so... cozy! ...Though being a scholar I expected you to have like three more bookcases...” Mina unfastens the clips of her travellers back, it making a loud thud as it hits the floor. It’s a traveler's pack meant for long hauls, as it’s easily half the size of you. It probably weighs a ton judging from the sound it made impacting the floor, but she was hauling it around as if it were your normal backpack.

“Be careful with those. I spent a long time trying to find those and they’re expensive.” you warn her as she looks over your bookcase. You head over to the fireplace and begin to wonder what exactly you should tell and ask Mina.
>>
>>22107345
No sense keeping it from her. Brodin'll probably tell her anyway. However, I suggest we just release the horns, tail, and wings and casually walk in like nothing happened. At the very least, her reaction will be entertaining.

Seconding
>>
>>22107345
We're going to be working and living together for the foreseeable future, and we live with Brodin and I somehow doubt he's going to be that good at keeping it secret from her. If there's one person we can trust with this it's her. There is little point in making her promise not to tell anyone, as if she's in a position where she would tell it's because she's being tortured and coerced so the semi-binding oath won't matter and all it will do is depress her and make her less effective should it happen.

First we ask what she knows about the Succubus Queens, their history, and if she knows their current state.

Then we do the reveal, we turn on the horns and tail, tell her how we met the Queens, what happened to us, and so on. Don't keep any secrets from her and make sure to tell her that she'd make Purple proud. And give the girl a hug and tell her that we're trusting her with our life by doing this.

“Well first off there is a reason I know so much about demons myself.” you tell her after you light the fireplace. You let your demonic traits come out in full view in front of her.

Mina looks at you shock for a few seconds, before she gushes with a huge smile. “Aaaauuuu~! Your horns and tail are so cute!” she says walking over to you, her hands running over your horns before noticing your wings. “Oooohhh! The wings are so adorable as well! They’re just like a little kid’s!”

Your eyebrow twitches at this, as this feels like the equivalent of your man parts being called the same thing.

“Oh! What clan are you!?” Mina asks as she begins to pick at your wings very gently.

“Okarian, and can you please stop that?” you ask giving your small wings a few flaps to shake her hand off.

“You’re an Okarian!? Wow you’re a lot more emotional than the others I’ve met! Whenever I meet Okarians they’re almost always do deadpan and bland for some reason.” Mina says.

“...So I’ve heard.” you reply recalling Brodin’s personal experiences. “Mina, I wanted to ask you a question. Do you know anything about the Succubi Queens?”
>>
>>22107788

[2/2]

“Oh yea! We were told stories of them all the time when I was a little girl about fifty years ago! ...I do kinda wish they were real though. I mean Succubi are treated as if they’re slaves to other demons and say dirty hateful things like calling us as Aether Parasites! But that’s not the case! We’re our own people and we have rights too!” Mina says putting her fist up into the air.

“Stay on topic please.” you tell her.

“Uh? Oh sorry! Well I mainly wish they were real. I mean if they did exist, then Valvatosa would be running away with his tail in between his legs!” Mina says.

Hm... It appears that since it’s been so long, many Succubi seem to recall the Succubi Queens as something of an urban legend. This is not surprising, considering the books you’ve read about them had clearly biased information.
>>
>>22107797
"Would you like to meet them?"
>>
>>22107797
"Right then. They exist, I'm going to be telling you a lot of things, please keep any questions you have until I'm done explaining.

So a few days ago I was an ordinary guy, not a succubus. Followed a tip someone gave me on a Demonic Shrine. Ended up falling down some stairs and bleeding to death. Found a shrine with 8 statues of Succubi there.

To make a long story short the seven of the eight Queens, Oksana, Miyu, Purple, Lamia, Janine, Janette, and Carine, the other Gemelli Queen wasn't present, brought me back from the brink of death and turned me into an Okarian and gave me a short history lesson of how they hid and sealed themselves away about 352 years ago and what happened so that their race was enslaved and had to go into hiding.

And now here we are, and that's why my tail, wings, and horns are so small, I've been at this for only a couple days. They asked me to take over the world for them and funnel them enough power to break free and regain their strength."
>>
Do youi wish for them to be real? Well, I can arrange that. No jokes, I'm seriouis about it.

But in exchange, you gotta help me with some stuff, ok? Like, conquering this place. And helping me into Seduction. And maybe get used to a female body too, yeah.
>>
>>22107797
"That's the plan, I think. Wanna help?"
>>
>>22108055

I like this. But add in:

"If you agree to help me, I will take you to their altar. Maybe you will get to meet them for real too."
>>
[1/2]

“Well would you like to meet them?” you ask her.

“Brooklyn I grew out of children’s tales a long time ago.” Mina replies.

“I’m serious. A few days ago I was just a normal guy, not a Succubus. I got a tip from a guy in the bar about a demonic shrine. I set off to find it and I did, however I was mortally wounded in the process and died in front of the shrine. After that I was teleported to some sort of... Astral Realm. Inside I met with eight of the Demon Queens: Oksana, Carine, Lamia, Janine, Janette, Miyu, and even the Belkarian Queen Purple. They gave me a short story of how they hid and sealed themselves for centuries and how the Succubi race was enslaved. Afterwards they made me into an Okarian, with the goal of becoming strong enough so that I’d be able smash open their prison. However as you can see of my wings, horns, and tails, I haven’t been doing this for very long. If you can help me out, then I’m sure they’d be delighted to see you as well. Hell they’ll probably be quite happy to hear how Succubus are doing these days, as I mainly know things from books, which are quite biased in these sorts of things.”

Mina just stares at for a few seconds, mouth agap. She then calmly walks around, this time seeming to carefully scan your demonic qualities.
>>
>>22108381

[2/2]

“I-I’m usually pretty good at reading other people’s emotions or whenever or not they’re lying and it... appears that you’re actually telling the truth... Are you REALLY!? Please tell me that you’re not lying! I want to believe they exist so badly!” Mina says grabbing your hand, holding it tightly.

“I swear my life upon it.” you tell her. “In fact I know where the Shrine is still located to.”

“Take me to see them! Please! I always wanted to meet Lamia and Purple!” Mina says, her voice sounding both desperate and excited.

Looking at the clock, you notice it’s about 1:57 PM. If you haul ass, you could make it to the shrine, fiddle around for a few hours, then make it back just before your date with Lance. The shrine itself is only a two hour walk back to the old city.

But who knows how long it will take while we're there? We could go tonight, after the date. It'll be nice and dark and we can kidnap a couple of pirates for the queens to eat as well. We can use the time now gettting tips from Mina about the date and other stuff and buying clothes and maybe even actually eating at last.

"Sure. But I've got plans tonight and I'm not sure how long we'll spend there once we get there. Besides, I'd like to bring some spare Aether with me when I visit so I can give them enough to make communication back and forth easy.

“Oooohhh~! Your first date as a Succubus! Congradulations!” Mina says hugging you for a few seconds before letting go. “So do you have any experience?”

“...Experience? Well yea I drained some snow pirates with a kiss as I was extremely hungry when I first transformed.” you tell her.

“O-Of course I’ve had experience this sort of thing! J-just from the other side is all!” you tell Mina.

Mina does use words to reply, but rather has an ear to ear smile she says while staring into your eyes.

“OK fine! I’ve never had so much of a serious date!” you tell her. “I mean originally I did this as I wanted to get closer to a merc group in general, maybe learn some combat skils and get something to eat, but I realize that I have no idea what I’m doing!”

“Ssshhh... It’s alright it’s alright! Everyone had their first time at least once!” Mina says giving you a gentle hug. “OK, so by the sounds of it, you don’t have much of an idea of how Succubi feed right?”

“Well I know we feed off emotions, and that sexual activities and kissing allows me to suck out one’s soul, but aside from the emotion thing the books I read didn’t go into the finer details.” you tell her.

“Well OK, first off you can still kiss and do fun stuff in bed without sucking out someone’s soul! You can even adjust it too! So long as you don’t devour *all* of someone’s aether, then they’ll be perfectly fine! A bit exhausted, but fine! I’d probably say suck out only half of someone’s aether. They’ll be exhausted, but since it’s a mortal they’ll recover in a few days.” she tells you.

“...But isn’t your singing stunt of making people feel emotions a better way to feed?” you ask her.

“Oh yea! Oh yea it is assuming you have enough! BUT raw aether tastes REALLY good! Far better than normal emotions! I do it time to time myself! ...Oh, have you had sex yet?” Mina bluntly asks.
>>
>>22109284

[2/2]

“N-No...” you blush and look away as you say this.

Mina rubs her hand on her chin, apparently looking concerned. “Well whatever you do, don’t fuck whomever you’re dating. Soul draining by having sex with a person is FAR more rapid than kissing someone. Immature Succubi almosts always completely drain the person they’re with the first time. I don’t enjoy killing people by sucking them dry, so my advice is avoid doing any sexual activity.”

“I... haven’t made the transition from guy to girl yet, so I doubt I’ll be taking the plunge that early. I’m not that romantically interested in him.” you tell Mina.

“No excuses! You’re an Okarian and how your clan is famous for your mood swings! Think of this like those STD’s humans warn about! Absence is the best guard against soul sucking!” Mina lectures.

“Well still, can you give me some advice for the date?” you ask her.

“I’d be delighted to! The first step is to just go with the flow!” Mina says as she begins her lecture on flirting with other guys. After about an hour and a half, you feel far more educated.

“...Or if all of this is too much trouble, you can just soul suck women.” Mina says.

“...We can drain females too?” you ask.

“Oh yea! Naturally we can’t do the sexual draining, but mouth to mouth draining works as normal!” Mina says.

Huh... Interesting...

“Can Succubi share Aether?” you ask her.

“Of course! You can drain aether from another Succubi or quite frankly anything with Aether! However soul draining people who can use Aether is more difficult to do. I dunno why, but it’s slower compared to draining mortals, but still just as effective!” Mina says.

“How noticeable is it when I drain half of someone’s Aether?” you ask.

“Very. They’ll have a malnourished look on them, their face will be more pale, and they’ll look and feel like they’re fairly sick. However if it’s a mortal then they’ll just bounce back in a few days. At about a quarter, it takes them a few weeks to fully recover.” Mina explains.

“So I have to avoid sexual activity unless I want to kill the person I'm with, I guess that's good incentive to learn more. Though I'm not planning on sleeping with any guys, I consider myself a straight male, I just happen to have really nice tits and magic now.” You say as you sit down in your desk chair.

“Oh~?” Mina says with a large smile. “I wonder how long that will last?”

You blush slightly as you hear that.

“What? I see nothing wrong with it so long as you don’t become a whore. I actually kinda want to go out on a date now myself! ...But I guess it’s still sorta creepy for you since you used to be a guy uh?” Mina asks.

“But I’m worried about people finding out. I mean I don’t want to be kicked out of here if they find out. I’d have nowhere to go.” you say.

“...Actually they probably wouldn’t throw you out completely.” Mina says. “The Langy’s would most likely try and capture you alive and break you to become their obedient slave. That’s what they do to most other Succubi. The other Succubus here at the Fort is also hiding as well.” Mina says.

“Wait there’s another Succubus here at the Fort?” you ask.

“Yup! I met her very briefly when I first came here! Although she never came to the Adamant Door, so I don’t know much about her other than the fact she was a Succubus. ...I can’t remember much else about either... I think she was a Laminian.” Mina says.

“Places where people go to experience strong emotions are often a good area to hang around! I like the Adamant Door because when I did my songs there, people *wanted* be entertained before I even did anything! Another good place are things like drama plays! ...Granted I fall asleep during most, but you don’t need to be awake in order to feed. A funeral could also work, LOTS of emotions in there but... personally I kinda feel bad feeding off someone’s grief like that. A school during recess also has a great burst of emotions, and many Succubi often become teachers from what I heard! But in general, all you need to do is think, ‘What is a good place for people to go in order to feel emotions? So you got any other questions?” Mina asks.

I just want to make sure, you don't have any moral compunctions against draining and killing pirates, bandits and the like, right?"

If there are any parks or playgrounds in the area we could stop by one of those for a snack, kids playing around sounds like a good snack. And we should check out the obituaries and see if there are any big funerals coming up.

“Do you know how other sorts of demons feed?” you ask.

“...I know Rage demons have a limited version of our emotion feeding. They feed on strong feelings such as hate, anger, and other nasty mean emotions. Pride demons seem to fed by how many people constantly kiss their ass, but I’m not exactly sure how they feed. “I just want to make sure, you don't have any moral compunctions against draining and killing pirates, bandits and the like, right?” you ask her.

“If they are truly wicked people, then I have no issues about draining them no! It is only fitting as we serve as the righteous hand of justice for wicked deeds people have performed!” Mina says holding her fist up in the air. “I mean I’ve drained a few people myself even, even accidently. You just need to be careful when feeding that way is all.”

“...Out of curiousity, how good are you exactly in combat? I heard Belkarians were good, but I’m kind of wondering myself if learning any sort of melee combat given the difficulties Okarians have in martial pursuits.” you ask.

“It’s ALWAYS a good idea to learn how to use physical combat! There may be some times where you cannot rely on magic, and at those times you’ll be very thankful that you’d have access to your physical abilities! But you can’t be COMPLETELY defenseless in melee combat! Do you have anything besides your magic?” she asks you.

“...Well yea, I do use my axe...” you say pointing to the axe leaning against your desk.

Mina walks over to the axe, picking it up and looking it over. “Hm... Good heft, nice weight... Old World materials too... Not bad...” Mina says spinning the axe in the air. She then catches it and seems to take some swings with it.

“You know how to use an axe?” you ask her.

“Nope! First time!” she says as she begins to practice some swings, going through some mock combat bonuses. “I’m trying to see whenever I can do the same with this axe as I can with my Genbu Godan...”

Mina continues to practice with the axe. At first her skills with it are fairly obvious to spot, but you quickly notice she doesn’t ever seem to make the same mistake twice. Within about an hour, Mina appears to have the same skill you have with the axe. She has learned how to use an axe just as well in an hour compared to something you’ve been trying to learn for years upon years.

But then you notice something off about her stance. The axe seems to glow for a split second before she makes a series of incredibly fast and accurate axe strikes, finishing with a two handed overhead swing.

“Yea... yea seems to work the same after all...” Mina tosses the axe back to you as she heads over to the sink, splashing water on her face.

“....What did you do?” you ask her.

“I wanted to see if it was possible to make an axe version of my Genbu Godan. A technique where you use Aether to speed and power of your attacks.” Mina says shaking the water off her head. “And by the looks of it, I was right! You should be able to do the same thing if you work hard at it!”

(NEW UNIQUE SPELL: AXE RAVE. Make a small series of quick, powerful, and accurate axe strikes. Aether use: Low. Mina has gained Axe (basic) weapon skill!)

“Hm... Interesting...” you say looking over your axe.

Well, we're free for the next few hours. Is there anything she'd like to do with us in the meantime?
>>
>>22110963
If she can learn this fast with every weapon we need to get this girl a gun. Preferable a Colt SAA.
>>
>>22110963
can we add our Okarian Bonus to the AXE RAVE? Use dark magic with it, or light magic.
Lets try it!

after >>22111044
do >>22111021
Lets see what she wants to do. We have been playing Q&A so far.
>>
It occurs to me that swinging an axe around indoors is likely a bad idea.
>>
>>22111085
She did ok for an hour. We will be fine!
>>
>>22111105
But she's supernaturally amazing and we're not. We already went to all the trouble of arranging merc lessons, and they'll have proper facilities we can use. Playing dress-up is a far better way to spend now.
>>
>>22111163
But we cant really use magic in those proper facilities.
Anyway, I am fully aware that its not safe to practice indoors. Still think we should do it.
>>
>>22111239
>We can't use magic
We can fix that by using even more magic. Like Suggesting they forget they saw us use magic.

“Hm... I wonder...” you say as you spin the axe in your hand. You get up and enter a stance, then try to mimic Mina’s movements she did when she did her Axe Rave.

“You last swing is 1/16 of a second too long. Don’t step into the blow that much.” Mina says as she begins to eat some of your potato crisps while watching you.

Unlike Mina, you do make the same mistakes more than once, but even then she seems to constantly reassure you. Eventually, you think you manage to pull it off. Slamming the axe down in the same position multiple times before ending with one solid blow that you stop before it hits the ground.

“Congradulations! You did it! Now that wasn’t so hard was it!?” Mina says clapping her hands.

“Yea... Not so bad...” you say a little winded after multiple attempts. “...Though I wonder...” You begin to channel some darkness magic into your hand and attempt another Axe Rave, but as you swing down you notice that the Darkness magic seems to dissolve the second engage the axe rave.

“...Huh? Why did that happen?” you say stopping in the middle.

“That’s because you’re still not familar enough with it.” Mina says chewing on a potato Crisp. “I’m able to do something like mix my Seiryurin into my Genbu Godan to a certain extent as it comes naturally to us Okarians to blend physical techniques into one another. Indeed, I’ve seen other Belkarians I’ve trained with do things like fire swords or lightning whips all the time. Okarians should be able to do it too, just that you’ll need to get better at your Axe Rave. When you reach a point where you can pull off a technique purely by your muscle memory, it’s then you should be able to combine a little Darkness or Light magic into a mostly physical skill.”

“So you’re saying there’s like magic magic and physical magic?” you ask her.

“Basically yes. Belkarians excel in the latter. It DOES take some effort for me to combine techniques, but I can do it.” Mina says.

“Well OK then... We’ve spent the last two hours as part of a Q&A session. Is there anything you want to do in particular?” you ask Mina, and cut her off as she’s opening her mouth. “That isn’t seeing the Queens?”

Mina looks a bit dejected, before closing her mouth and thinking. “Oh! How about we go get something to eat downtown and do some clothes shopping!?”

“You mean like go to a concert and feed on emotions?” you ask.

“Pfft no! I meant physical food. Physical food doesn’t nourish us, but it doesn’t make it any less tasty!” Mina exclaims after licking her lips.
>>
>>22111298
Sounds good, we're on a budget,though.
>>
I'm probably gonna switch threads now since we're probably on autosage now. You can still mention here any place you want to try and take Mina to or any activities you'd like to try with her.
>>
>>22111288
wait, how does she know wee can do light magic?
>>
>>22111298
"Well, I guess I DO need clothes for my date, so sounds like we can do that"
>>
>>22111298
and thats fine. We can go and hang out.
>>
>>22111339

Oops, my bad. Change that to Dark magic. She shouldn't know that you know Light magic.
>>
>>22111298
We do need more clothes so we can agree to that, our wardrobe is rather limited, and we can get some nice food with her, preferably at a somewhat raucous and crowded restaurant. In time we might be able to match the palate of the food we consume and the surrounding emotions, think of the culinary experiences we could have that way.
>>
In the meantime, I'll take a small break before beginning the next thread.

Don't forget to vote on sup/tg/.
