    Silence, just silence.
No one dare speak after Erica's last remark.
The sounds of the waves lapping the shore fill your ears, and under that the beat of your heart escalates for some reason.

Eyes locked, the two blondes stare at each other.
    Perrine mumbles something.
"What's that? NO HABLA ES FRANCAIS." Erica tells the girl in front of her.
    "You're wrong..." Perrinne says softly.
"Oh, I'm wrong? Tell me, what was I wrong about?"

Another moment of silence that seemed to stretch out forever.
Your eyes meet Perrinnes, and you see a change in them.
Instead of the anger earlier, she now has determination in them.
the breeze blows harder than it should, sending Perrinnes long blonde hair to dance in the wind.
    She finally breaks the silence
    "It's Hayate's."

    Again there was silence.
    Uncomfortable, heavy silence.
If the silence was made of bricks, you could have built a goddamn cathedral out of it.

The words echo in your head,
    'It's Hayate's...It's Hayate's...It's Hayate's...It's Hayate's...'
It's impossible. It's unthinkable. It just doesn't make any sense.

Mio sits there, an eyebrow raised in your direction.
Erica is beside you, just flabbergasted, her mouth hanging wide open.

    FROGGY SAYS IT'S YOUR BABBY.

"But I hadn't even met you two months ago!" you tell her, utterly confused.
"Two months ago, the night of that victory party for that fight against the alium hold-outs.. I.. I saw you with the twins." she answers.
"But that was less than a month ago!" you protest.
Mio cuts in, "It was two months ago dear wife. Atleast, from our point of view."
Perrinne continues her tale, "That night, I saw you with the twin's in Ursula's lab.... I ran after I saw what was happening... And then... I bumped into you behind the castle."

Things begin to click in your head.
    Stuff begins to add-up.
Her story of meeting you in your temporal bowler, the weird time difference, her shyness...
"And that's when I.. We..." you can only say, unsure on how to feel about this.
"No. Please, don't feel bad about this. I wanted this... Actually.. I... I kinda forced you into it." She tells you.

Erica stands up, brings her hand back and slaps you.
The sound of palm meeting cheek echoes down the beach.
She runs away towards the stairs up to the house without another look.

There's really no other option available to us that we can live with, in that regard.

"Yes Mio?" you ask the cyclopean samurai.
"Well, judging from your responses last night, and from what I see in you, I'm sure you would make a great father to this child..." she tells you.
    "Thank yo-"
"And all the others that will follow." she quickly adds with a leer.
"Yes... Quite. Thank you Mio." you were finally able to say.

    You turn back to Perrinne.
"So what do you want to do now?"
"I... I need to talk to the others... I want to be with you." she tells you.
"I'll get the girls together then." you tell her with a reassuring smile.
    --------------------------------

Minutes pass in silence, not another word said between you three.
You hear the sound of Erica's souped-up strikers and she lands on the beach.
Wordlessly she walks up to you.
You can see that she has been crying.

    Dinner...
You, the girls, Mio and Perrinne sit around a table you manifested on the beach.
Torches supplied by Kraus illuminate the scene as you begin to dish out dessert.
The whole meal was spent mostly in silence, the girls probably knowing what would be coming next.

    Erica breaks the ice.
"Isnt there something you wanted to say?" she asks Perrinne.
"Yes. yes there is." she answers the German girl as she looks around the table into the faces of all present.
"I love him. I want to be with him. Please let me be with him. Please allow me into your family." she tells the girls.
"What about the other thing?" Erica asks.
    "What other thing?" Ursula says.
    Hina and Nanoha observe silently.
    "I'm pregnant. With his child...."
Nanoha tilts her head, Hina's eyebrow goes up, Ursula looks to her sister.
"Time travel bullshit. I'll explain it to you all later." Erica tells them.
"We must discuss this amongst ourselves for now." Ursula says as she puts her fork down,
"Hayate, please keep the Major and Perrinne company as we do so."
"Of course." You answer them as you lead the other two towards the house.

    -------------------------------------------
You stand on one of the numerous landings built into the long winding staircase.
Below you, the sea softly laps at the base of the gleaming white tower that the house is built on.
Perrine is standing besides you, Mio leaning against the curved wall.
"Hayate. Thank you for everything." Perrine tells you softly as her hand reaches for yours.
You say nothing and just hold her hand.

About after 30 more minutes of comfortable silence and Hina walks up the stairs to fetch you.

You head back down to the beach, the girls are standing there, waiting for you.
"We've come to a decision." Ursula speaks for all of them. "We will welcome you and your child to our family."
Nanoha and hina hug you and Perrinne.
    The twins following closely.
"See? I told you it would all be alright." you hear Hina tell the french girl.
    "Thanks." she answers.
"Do you have a name for the baby yet?" Nanoha asks her.
"I feel like it's going to be a boy. And I'm naming him Rafale." she answers.
"Soooo.... HUG TIME?!" Mio again jumps to join the pile.
    -----------------------------------

After Perrinne's formal induction into the family, Mio wanted to be given a tour of the house.
    You of course oblige her.
As you did so, Perrinne asks for a moment to speak with the twins in private.

    --------------------------------------------
"Damn this is a really really nice place." The hero of Japan comments as you show her the library.
"I'm glad that you like it Mio." you tell her.
"And you tell me that most of the bedrooms are empty?"
"Weeeell... We mostly sleep with Hayate in his room, so yeah." Nanoha answers her.
    "Interesting..." Mio strokes her chin.

After the tour, Mio excuses herself for the evening and you have your familiars escort her back to her room in AdMin.

As you take out Daniil and the others, she looks at the wolf.
    "Sup Mono-eye." He greets her
"Hey there, patches." she smirks back.

Perrinne and the twins meet up with you at the front door after Mio left.
The three seem calm and collected after their little talk.
"She's moving in." Erica tells you as she drags you inside to the master bedroom.
Behind you you hear the girls murmuring.
    "......pink."
    "....ruffles"
    "...ears and tail"

Erica throws open the large door and heaves you into the gigantic bed.
You see Ursula reach for a familiar box in the closet.
"Perrine, what do you think?" Hina asks her.
    "...swimsuit" the Trench one whispers.
'It's gonna be a long night.' you think to yourself as Erica proceeds to strip you.

No perrinne since we woundt go thier home dimension.
No Hina meeting since we woudnt go back to ours.

i think of Negayate more like a sadist with an actual harem, drawing in girl with promise of great pleasure. never making it a family but still binding them to him in some way or form, making them want him, need him, love him, and he too loves them for the satisfaction he gets from the acts they commit.
no alteration in their behavior other than him dressing them up instead but still completely loyal to their 'master'.

Guys, we've got more important problems:
It's now Friday morning, and we haven't made any of the reservations we said we needed to make.

Denden's will likely want a reservation for a party of our size.
And we still need a reservation for two at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
Then there's the housewarming party invitations; we should give them out now, so that people can plan their one day off accordingly.

True, and I don't mean to imply this tweet isn't happening, but it is vague. What I'm meaning to say, is that we don't know which alternate it is, and either way it's not like there's anything we can actually do about it.

Though, to play devil's advocate, perhaps it IS Futuyate, and he's talking about Perrine joining the family so she doesn't go off to raise Rafale alone, so the kid doesn't grow up bitter and later comes seeking revenge.
