So as it turns out there is actually a real CCAF unit from Fletcher's Folly. It also turns out that they come by the factory every few years.
After several days of riding in the back of a truck with really bad shocks for a few days you arrive at the 4th Fletcher's Folly Reserves, you quickly start training. Your drill sergeant, Huang Dong Gu (pronounced hang dong goo) does not appreciate your sense of humor, so you spend the first few months alternating between latrine duty and running laps around the on base orchard.

So it turns out that eating Stab-apples out of a can while jogging isn't a particularly good idea.
