    http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/18630097/

The Swarm has sucked resources from 2/3 of the area of space we've dubbed the Barrens in an attempt to stymie UED expansion. When the UED found out what we were doing, we immediately got Cyberbrate to build us fleets of robotic ships to continue the work, and began a faux AI invasion of UED space. The greatest accomplishment has been the design of the Mark III battleship, which is nearly indestructible and features a wide range of powerful weapons.

We have so far kept our attacks to light raids aside from draining half of one UED world's resources and burning its colonies to the ground. Threatening communications keep coming in to the faux AI forces, but so far the UED has not enlisted Zerg aid.

The Protoss seem to have stopped their own startlingly fast expansion as suddenly as it had begun. Their territory is about 45% of the size of our Koprulu Sector holdings.

    Excellent.

Has construction of a small Mk III battleship task force in our Core Worlds been initiated?
Have Warbrate provide Cyberbrate with tactical advice so that the Machine Fleet can take advantage of its superiority.

I am suspicious of the Protoss; continue our colonization waves at a regular schedule, and send out advance waves of dropservers and cloaked overlords to make sure that the Protoss aren't trying to pull a fast one on us.

Have the Machine forces recovered from their latest defeat at the hands of the UED?

Cerebrate, can you give us an example of some of the messages that the UED has sent, especially after our most recent punitive expedition against Seurat XII?
What's the mass media doing with this story back in UED space?

And did we go ahead and have the Machines call themselves part of the CORE Central Intelligence?

Personally I'm not too worried about how many world the toss get, they're a slow people, and it will take time to build up the colonies, but just to be sure so dropserves with UED markings to spy on a few of them will be good. Also we should name the Mark III, I'm thinking Lubov Sdabni Class Battleship. Or just Sdabni. And hows the toss attack on "Dyles?"

The Protoss won't be able to penetrate that deeply into our empire, nor can the UED.

Also, if the dreadnoughts are stationed in deep space, away from any of our settled worlds, how are they going to find them?

The idea for building them in our Core Worlds wasn't to send them towards the Machine Front in the Barrens.
It was so that Warbrate would have a chance to play around with the new battleships to get used to them, and to have a small force of them on-hand if new hostilities erupt.

I'm leaning towards having the factory away from our space. If push comes to shove and they discover that we're behind the machines, it seems that it would be a fairly simple matter to tune-up our facilities to keep producing the new MK III battleships.

It started as very general messages that we were in their territory, then threats that they would destroy us if we didn't leave. Now, they are declarations of war impending destruction. Defensebrate thinks we're pretty close to seeing a full-scale military campaign.

Let's check in with Kerrigan and see how she's doing.

Also, if I remember this correctly, wasn't Kerrigan was dabbling with Xel'naga artifacts around the time of the invasion of Aiur (back when the Overmind was still alive). Her invasion of Umoja may also have something to do with Xel'naga artifacts or Protoss junk. I wonder if she'll be appreciative of a Xel'naga-to-Zerg cipher that Artisanlord cooked up for us when we were poking around in the Xel'naga Worldship.

The truest victory of all is forcing an enemy to submit to you without infestation.

Besides, we were invented by the Overmind to think of new ways of overcoming the Swarm's foes. Sure, we could just run roughshod all over the opposition with waves upon waves of newly-hatched horrorzerg. Or even think of a completely new breed of Zerg to throw at them. But that's not our purpose; ANY cerebrate (or psionic Zerg/human hybrid) can kill things by dthrowing huge swarms of ravening Zerg at them. A particularly cunning one may even maximize killing while minimizing dying.

But BUYING OUT a civilization and mining all of their collective ingenuity to add to your greatness? That takes a lot of out-of-the-box thinking and smarts.

This is lucrative, and has the possibility of getting some juicy details of classified projects or design weaknesses, keeping up the facade of humanity is very difficult and vital. The UED is not lax with its security. Should Accountantbrate attempt to feed us information that might be of use, or even dig for information it might not necessarily have clearance to see?

Alright, so I think we have our current set of plans agreed upon:
Accountantbrate to take a safe course of action in the UED.
The CORE is to continue strip mining planets, building up its defense fleet of Love Muffin dreadnoughts, and destroying UED colonies in response to UED Navy interference.

    Whoops.

I dunno what this ship type is called. But it's small, fast, and capable of downing frigates and possibly large capital ships in sufficient number.

Some sort of speed bomber or heavy interceptor, I guess?

Sounds more like a cruiser to me. The naval size convention seem to be Destroyer<Frigate<Cruiser<Battleship. But in space frigates seem to usually be the anti-fighter and light ship ships, with cruisers being the medium ships below capital ships.

No, that'd be Jackson, Aden, Montana, Dakota... I'm not giving up Love Muffin, the others I don't much care about because they're not godships.

We still need the light cruisers, though.
