You arrive in class after depositing Ursula and Nanoha in their own.

You greet your friends, and take your seat.
You find Hina once again occupying the seat behind yours.

"Hey," she tells you "We aren't done talking yet."

"Of course, we can talk as much as you'd like." you tell her.

Before you can answer this, Mike walks into the room.

Aw yeah, my evening has been made.

A bit of a rework from what someone posted last thread:

"Compared to what I had before I came here? It is the best thing I could ever ask for. It may seem weird, or sleazy, but it's not like that. I know what it's liked to not be loved back. I know what it's like to wake up alone. To go to bed alone. It's not the sort of thing I would wish on anybody. I don't want to hurt anyone. I don't want anyone to be lonely. So if I see somebody hurting, somebody lonely, I'll always try to give them what comfort I can.

So, what's it like? It's like knowing you have people who care, and you try your best to care for them back."

Erica goes to your seat, and was about to say something when Hina interrupts.

Even if we fail we might get some interesting results, and Shirou would be a good guinea pig since Kurou seems to of worn off

So there I was, trying to enjoy my lunch in quiet, when he fucking collapses in my lap crying.

As a friend, I did what I had to do. I gave him a hug, let him cry it out. I let him voice his concerns and help him.

A friend should do these things.

A good friend wouldn't do it while praying they didn't notice their erection about to rip through the pants.

Before the two of you head back to class, you give Keima a final hug.
"Thanks for being such a great friend."

As you walk back to the room, you make sure that your eyes are dried and your face once again it's usual mask of calm.

Hina is sitting behind you deep in thought.
You look eyes with Erica across the room.
'So what did you talk about?'
    'Stuff.'
    'What stuff?'
'Just stuff. Stop staring at me, Mike just walked in.'
    And the afternoon classes began.

After a lengthy lecture on Bureau policy on artificial lifeforms, both majaikal and technological, the class draws to an end.
"Guys, Before you head out, I want to tell you that you will be run through case simulations by the end of this week."
"You will be deployed in randomly picked pairs, and you will go through combat scenarios the Bureau has encountered in the past."

    The room empties quickly.
Hina makes no move to rise from her seat.

Or consider that we might actually be able to weaponize or tragic past.

Therapy dosen't mean that shit will end, just that we're recognizing an obvious problem and taking steps to fix it.

Meaning we'll have a mix of both a shrink montage as we drive a bunch of them to drink, and watch our abandonment issues kick into overdrive.

You're not implying that our PTSD bouts will end if we spend a couple hours with Gendo, right? They won't end so easily. It'll take months, if not years, to make them all finally go away. We'll continue to have episodes for a very long time, even with the therapy. Actually, therapy gives us a chance to trigger them at will.

After a few more minutes of waiting, Ursula finalyl finishes whatever she was doing.
"Okay kid," Rood tells you. "You're up."
"Break a leg!" Erica tells you with a shit eating grin as she pushes you towards her sister.

The twins help you with putting the striker units on, your skirt thankfully allowed to stay.
You insert Kraus into the control unit and wait for the go ahead from Ursula.

Erica is already in the air, waiting just in case you need some help.

"Okay. Please activate the magic engines." Ursula tells you.
You concentrate, and they start easily enough.

Rood is now working with some holograms in front of him and Ursula is holding a clipboard and Victor.

To put forth my plans from before:

Option A: Give Kenji the potion, saying it grants the user's truest and deepest wish.

And totally bewildered when he turns into a woman.

Option B: Wear a Hayate disguise over a disguise of a random girl. Get him to drink the potion saying it's a magic potion to protect him from feminists.

Pull off Hayate mask, and tell him that turning him into a woman was central to the EVIL SCHEMES, and now we feel confident that he can no longer interfere. Then we either teleport or time-stop and leave, removing the female disguise.

Option A is easy to execute, but Option B has Kenji running around yelling about how the feminists got to him, and how somebody disguised as us is running around with trickery and potions.

Let me repeat that: HE WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT SOMEBODY IMPERSONATING US IS RUNNING AROUND GENDER-SWAPPING PEOPLE.

Then we hit Keima, laugh evilly, and disappear. Then we walk around the corner and fail to notice he's a woman until he mentions it.

Better yet we drink it so we become a girl put a normal hayate costume on over the top do the trolling to Kenji to do our big reveal

Then it is easy to just have a double mask up
Just make sure we have an antidote to it

Or we could go the iced tea treachery path with Keima, but my favorite idea was just leave the potion in his room with a copy of our dorm room key

When the girls are shocked as to the nature of the note, we step in like the suave mother-fucker we are.

A valid point. I will explain then.

It's a more fleshed out version.

As shown in StrikerS, and in one of the in-between mangas, Nanoha almost ended up dead on a mission at around her current age. She spent a very very long time recovering, and she still wasn't quite the same physically. It took her months to be able to even stand again.

Using this piece of canon, she gets hurt, then goes to the Doctor to recover. Bam, X years in the box recovering. It really covers all the angles.

That would require Hayate not playing the role of meat-shield when someone he cares about is in danger.

His teleport power is specifically designed to throw himself between his friends and danger should the need arise.

I think that's waht LG has.
or maybe something along the lines of
    Be in field training
    lol huge incident.
Sector losses contact with bureau for years.

You're assuming Hayate is present. It's not hard at all to make him not be. They were separated last vacation, on completely different universes.
    >> Anonymous 03/07/12(Wed)05:50 No.18238949
would she be awake in the box?
if yes, then we can visit her, and that would be weirder.
Im sure the doctor would time our entry into the box to just days apart for Nanoha.
[timing it at months apart would be devestating for a patient trying to recover]
    >> Anonymous 03/07/12(Wed)05:50 No.18238954
if she was asleep it would also be weirder.
    She woudnt have "Grown" mentally
    >> Anonymous 03/07/12(Wed)05:50 No.18238955
Besides, isn't Nahona NOT on our team?

Or are our teams just for the duration of training? I would like to be deployed as a cell of operatives rather than an individual. More fun I think.

We'd be together throughout training yes.
    That includes field training.
Then we'd be split up and sent to Bureau offices where we would be needed.
    >> Anonymous 03/07/12(Wed)05:52 No.18238965
    >>18238938
It's a bit less clumsy than the losing contact angle, because it incorporates canon and our setting together.

    >>18238949
Nanoha is a stubborn one. It's very realistic that she wouldn't want us to see her in that kind of state.
    >> Anonymous 03/07/12(Wed)05:53 No.18238970
Possible way of getting into director's pants:

She reverts to the "normal girl" personality
    [haruhi movie Yuki]
We find her in the library.
We take care of her until she recovers to full nagato mode.

Oh man. We've been focusing on our support role for so long, I hope we end up getting assigned to a good group.

Of course, building the harem is a surefire way to keep our current team together.

She sees us at one of our bitching parties.
She sees us continue to do hilariously awesome things (like make an imaginary dinosaur switch teams mid-battle).
She sees us BIG DAMN HERO.
    We give her a hug.

    Here's a question.
Hina joined the class after groups were assigned.
Mike wants us to look out for her.
Does this mean she's going in ours?

It's also entirely possible that if our team is awesome enough as a team, we could be assigned as a strike force.

SWAT teams don't hang at the regular stations or work a beat, they go in when somebody needs their shit slapped, and they go home once the slapping is delivered.

Not bad, especially since "normal" Yuki was pretty adorable. I think we can probably involve our violin in this somehow. Maybe this time we break her instead of just her construct.

    >>18238999
    Basically this.

    >>18239000
It's likely. I get the feeling that they like to keep people of similar universes together, for obvious reasons. We really need more front line aerial though.

Dude said he saw all, was all, and knew all.

I told him he couldn't guess how many fingers I was holding behind my back.

He said it would be five, since even though I was making a fist, all of my fingers were there.

I then told him that the thumb wasn't technically a finger, and punched him in the face.

He said he gave me super perception as a reward for out-thinking him. Not sure it's true, but I like to think it is.
