Preferably from the sky, even better, while they sleep at night, supposedly safe in their camp."
Grinning feraly, you reply "I fear you know my mind far too well, love." as you begin to set off to find Wulf and Sansa to see how the looting is going.
-----CQ-----
It takes until late in the day for the looting to finish, but every weapon is burnt or melted down, every anvil sundered beyond repair along with every last piece of armor. three supply autowagons are laden with the silver mines silver ingots, and you stand before the mines, Hans looking at the wagons, currently penniless. "Commander Trentz, at the risk of offending you, for questioning your character, will you leave me the gold I requested? And, perhaps, simply bar the way to the mine? All of the pickaxes are inside." he asks, gesturing towards the entrance to the below-ground mines, carved into a hill behind the village.
"There wasn't a scrap of gold in the town, Commander," Wulf notes idly "just silver and copper." |
