    Gentlemen, continuation from >>16173878

Sulla just smashed the hell out of that poor Bulgarian's hand. Now, it's been about six hours, so I'm going to have to run pretty soon (I'll return, of course) but I think we have time to settle some unfinished business.

Also, general RoS, once our denouement here is done.

Eegh. A vindictive bunch, no? But this is sort of what I expected, and it's why we're here.

I'm filling that break with silliness, so let's kill some camels!

Bueno-Grande walked through the streets of Babylon sullenly, his partner Fernando following a pace behind. Their relationship had been strained since the human incident, and although it had been cleaned Bueno's halberd slung across his back was a cold reminder of that day. They were passing through the Bazzare when Bueno heard it, two voices shouting to them from down the street.

"Oi, furrball, ditch your brown friend there and come back to our stall for a bit of the old bouncy bouncy eh?"
Bueno spun around, growling with rage, to see a pair of Camels stood a short distance away, leaning on a wall nonchelantly and each with a Rapier hanging loosely in their grip.
"You heard us right" The Camel on the left said,
"Yeah" the other jeered "get out of here you furry sack of shit and leave your orange friend with us, we'll take care of him"

Bueno growled and straightened his back, reaching behind him to pull his Halberd from his back, knowing that these Camel dogs must die for their insolence.

Both camels go for full escape.

They should clomp away and stare at th ebear for a distance.

They should wait for the bear to get tired

they should be just close enough for the bear to stay on guard.

First up, CP of 14? I suggest that we keep some in reserve, and make a bumrush at Camel No. 1 and try and chop its hump off. Displace a motherfucking halberd, you motherfucking sand-drinker. Say, 8 dice on a cut attack.

Stupid suggestion for when there's only one camel left:
Throw the halberd at the camel, as though making a Toss maneuver.
Follow up behind it with a motherfucking BEAR HUG.

I was using the Crush as a homebrew attack for the Bear, because I couldn't see an equivalent in the rulebook. If I was to take more time and make this serious I might have changed it to be an opposed roll against the Camel's toughness, but I was kinda doing everything on the fly.

and the Crush does Strenght - Opponent's toughness Damage, + MoS, so that's 8 Bludgeoning damage in total to the Camel's Zone XII.

We do not kill the camel that is in pain.
This is not to the death.
    This is to the pain.
To the pain means the first thing you will lose will be your feet below the ankles. Then your hands at the wrists. Next your nose.
The next thing you will lose will be your left eye followed by your right.
Your ears you keep and I'll tell you why. So that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, "Dear God! What is that thing," will echo in your perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.

Some new mod has been on a rampage the last couple of days. Most likely some innocuous comment (or possibly, the name choice) got him banned.

Unfortunately, /tg/ has waves of this kinda crappy over-moderation. The one that hit at the end of last year actually significantly lowered the board's population, as old posters got banned or left. I don't know why they focus us instead of the actual, terrible boards like /tv/ and /sci/ where probably 80% of the threads are trolling or off-topic.

That sounds an awful lot like /tg/ at times. The amount of /v/ shit, porn, off topic shit, and trolling on /tg/ was to the point of making /tg/ in /b/-lite. There have been a few misfires, the bannings of Touhoufag and Ribbonfag come to mind, but I do not miss the constant porn and "elf slave; wat do?"

Also I chuckled when the mod banned some fag for starting a "Bitches of Thulsa Doom" thread.

    Polite sage for meta.

No. Even before the moderators came last summer, the trolls, spam and porn was far from being the majority of the threads.
And one bitches thread per day never hurt a board.

If you think /tg/ is anywhere near as bad as the other blue boards in NSFW, rule-breaking or off-topic content, you really need to go check them out sometime. /tv/ has regular pedophile threads about underage actors and actresses, for fuck's sake.

instead, could you answer me a question?
how do you decide on what damage level your attack has?

for melee weapons, look at the damage column. different attacks have different damage ratings, usually it's somewhere between str-1 and str+3, but there are exceptions.
to that, you add the margin of success of your attack (fun fact: since you need at least one success more than the defense to actually hit, your MoS will always be at least 1), and you have your final Damage Rating (blunt weapons have special abilities based on that).
from that, you subtract the defender's toughness, and the AV of the location hit. the final result is the level of the wound inflicted.

The problem with /tg/ moderation has always been the attitude the moderators and janitors unfailingly take.

That being, "I am the hero that /tg/ deserves!"

I can't believe John being banned, though. Maybe he's just taking a break, or procrastinating since he's nervous about how to run the Sulla scenario. He's stated being wary of it before, so maybe he's still writing up the next opponents as we speak.

Start a new RoS thread if you have questions, this one is so very, very derailed and nearing auto-sage.
