We were near the boarder of a land that the kingdom we dicked around in wouldn't dare cross.
The problem was that they would catch us before we could cross it.
Monkey Bro (Oddly enough named Monkey) said he would stay behind and hold them off.
After some "CANT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU" Shtick, he told me I have other responsibilities and he would stay behind and fend them off.

The trip to the human settlements was about 5 days on foot and 2 days on horseback. So when I told them the 1.2, they lent me a horse and I rode back there.
What I found was a pile of bodies with Monkey slumped over at the bottom.
He was holding on to a note written in his own blood.
"Thank you for being my friend.".
The other thing I noticed was the banner near the side of the carnage that the leader of our old party always liked to put down when he "conquers" a opponent.

How does this make any sense? Are all the players and the GM except for you and that one guy totally against people/wanna play out furry fuck fantasies? If that's the case, why not just leave?

I'd have said "or better yet, leave and put a severed wolf head on their door" but I realize that's just make you their level and that'd be horrible cruel to that wolf who suffered because of human's stupidly trying to speak for him when his thoughts amount to little more than "Gotta get food! From what I recall, the GM has actually been pretty awesome about the whole thing. If he was simply a "THAT GM", he would never have allowed the OP and Monkey-bro to go off on their own in the first place, right?

It was entirely Monkey's decision to remain behind and hold them off. Decisions like that should always have consequences, and I'm glad the GM didn't pull something out of his ass just to soften the blow.

If anything, he's helping the OP build up the other players as the villains.

I'm actually starting to understand what the GM's getting at.
Furry or not, dude has a passion for story telling.

Pretty much, its a not so black and white morality going on. To me and Monkey bro and the escaped refugee's, we were slaves just trying to get home and away from all the violence they had to take. But to them, we're terrorists and escaped criminals.
So they murdered Monkey bro as a benefit to the kingdom, and Monkey bro made a heroic last stand to save his friends.

Either or, they unleashed the fucking hurricane.

"During the Napoleonic wars, a French ship of the type chasse marée was wrecked off the coast of Hartlepool. The only survivor was a monkey, wearing a French uniform (allegedly)-(presumably to provide amusement for those on board the ship). On finding the monkey, some locals decided to hold an impromptu trial on the beach; since the monkey was unable to answer their questions, and many locals were unaware of what a Frenchman may look like, they concluded that the monkey was in fact a French spy. Just to make sure, the animal was thus sentenced to death and hanged from the mast of a fishing boat on the Headland."

I see it as a story.

An epic tale where friends become enemies in a situation that's not so black and white.

One side sees the other as wrong and so does the other. Then it cones down to each characters resolve and strength.

I'm sure the players would be fine with it, I don't see how they wouldn't be if it's still going.

Derp, I got replied to. SARNATH'D!

if the DM is being a sound storyteller here, use this for drama. Your PC has his motives, just as the other PCs do. From an objective viewpoint, good and evil aren't in play as much here as much as competing factions with their own goals of various moral worth. Think Legend of Galactic Heroes, or a Jet Li's Hero. Different factions, different ideals, but ultimately folks vying for power.

Allright, we're going to steal an idea right out of the later books of Black Company.
They are essentially thermite Roman Candles the size of rifles. And later on some big ones the size of bazookas.
If you can find one chemist, or the bro player makes himself a science gorilla, you make your muskets shoot balls of thermite.
Which is essentially powdered rust and aluminium. Make paper or cloth cartridges, and you've got yourself one hell of a terror weapon.
THEIR WEAPONS BURN OUR BODIES AND HOMES, MELT OUR CASTLE WALLS! THEY CANNOT BE STOPPED!
Build a gravity-fed rotary cannon and you can level a place in no time.

Oh, no denying it. If we can handwave it all and say "Rule of Cool, Do Pic Related", then this is fucking awesome. I know little about GURPS, but from what I've gleaned from /tg/, wikipedia and 1d4chan, it tends towards having complicated rules which can account for EVERYTHING.

Given a more simulationist approach, I feared that somehow Our Heroes might not be able to make a manufacturing base switch over from working with bronze age technology to full on industrial warfare work feasibly.

Unless I go all metagamey bitch here and read every-fucking-thing written re: GURPS, I thought it might be better to tread with caution before saying "Let's build guns and go rare game hunting!" lest we end up not having enough folks to man the factories and bring in the harvest or some shit.

If I remember correctly from the last thread, OP mentioned rescuing the slaves from a train. He may have meant "caravan," but food for thought. Plenty of times through history there were technologies completely available for someone to discover them, but no one had thought of doing it yet.
For example: It would have been completely possible for something like the AK-47 to have been used in the American Civil War. All the technologies needed had been discovered, it's just no-one had figured out how to make an assault rifle yet. The right mind in the right place with the right backing and it would have happened.

And then as the last resident dies, plant the flag firmly into the center of the village. If any of your human or civilian allies die, declare them to be ambassadors and dress them accordingly. Contact the furry nation and declare that if the ones responsible for this atrocity against your brothers, the might of the Hominidae United will set upon them.

Actually, a thought I had was staring an all out war with the fur people might cause a concentration camp scenario, all the 'mians left in furry lands being rounded up and worked literally to death. My recommendation would be to engage in commando tactics, sneaking in, murdering an entire town and razing it the ground, leaving behind a message saying the killing will end when the furry party dies. One or two times, the kingdom might ignore it, feeling the heroes to be worth more than a few towns of peasants, but enough killing, and then the furry party becomes outlaws in their own lands, running for their life, and that's when you strike, they're tired, resources spent, and you strike them down like the dogs they are.

Then as part of your commando teams, you need to work on an underground railroad/propaganda arrangement. Start getting simian folks to your kingdoms, or at least out of town.
Propaganda wise, try spreading tales that the furries have started getting scared of something the Human Clans have found, and are going to start rounding up and 'dissapearing' humans and sympathizing simians.
Combine that with commando strikes targeted at villages with high human/simian populations and you can make enough people to believe in it and make it real.
During your commando strikes be certain to leave only rare select survivors if any, and raze and raid appropriately. The Underground network should hopefully be smoother to set up at that point, but I have no advice there.
Hopefully, you can get unrest in the Furry Kingdoms to a palpable level, enough that the monarchs are at odds with the people as the common furry demands justice while the rulers remain mystified and hesitant, lacking any sort of solid information.

See, what really needs to happen is he needs to build a literal underground railroad or something.

And then he has to sink their cities. He has to hold entire cities for ransom with the ransom being every primate and the heads of the party members.

Too much room for sedition in the primates. A classical 1800's underground railroad will insure that the ones who are joining the United Clans will help make sure that those who get here will be less likely to desert or spy.

I want to write a novel set in a world like this. The great empire of the anthros, creatures born from human magic gone awry. The other primates, awakened in their own right. And the elder races, the humans being the most prevalent.

    And then the anthros fall.

    BUMPAN WITH NEW STRATEGIES.

Why do you /k/unts always want the protagonist to use guns? They're nice and all, but this is not about dakka. This is about purging. PURGING, I tell you. You do not purge with guns, YOU PURGE WITH FIRE.

Now, I'm not talking about burning down their homes and cities, though that is certainly a part of it. What I'm talking about is burning them on the battlefield. Burning them alive. If you want to spread the hate, let the few battle-scarred survivors go home with the pictures of burning abominations, desperately trying to claw the napalm and crude oil out of their fur, yet only succeding in tearing burnt and melting strips of skin off etched into their memory.

In these close-combat focused worlds, there is no reason not to use these. The close-combatants (barbarians, swordfighters, rogues) will be drawn to the Flamer units because they expect them not to put up much of a fight, what with them only holding a weird assortment of tubes in their hands, but will be very, very suprised once they come closer.

Building them without an integral fuel-pump is possible too, reference the Greek Fire Syphon or the made-by-fratboys Super Soaker flamethrower for this.

Reminds me of a setting I did a while ago, which was basically Africa world, with all the animals anthro. Most animals were just in bush tribes with spears and such. But the largest and most technological nation was that made of the apes, who had managed to create guns.

It had humans as intelligent ones, acting as inventers, leaders, craftsmen, and wizards.
Gorillas as the spiritual ones, being natural mediators and peace keepers. They were druids and clerics.
Chimpanzees were the warrior castes, from common foot soldier to generals (Bonobos are their hippy counterparts)
Orangutans were more solitary hermit types but also acted as shock and heavy troops alongside Gorillas in war. They also made a lot of the merchant folk.
Gibbons were the rogues, rangers, and just general sneaky types in war times. As well as acting as the nations hillbilly low class.

Monkeys and lesser primates were used as slaves who were capable of buying their freedom.

So what does the furry party consist of and look like?

Also do they have any possible connections that might seem irrelevant or unimportant now, but later that might mean a huge deal(such as winning this whole ordeal)? Maybe any OP might know of due to adventuring with the party before the betrayal of Caesar, so to speak.

    >And lo the Great Liberator did lead the armies of Men against the armies of Beasts, but he did not lay waste to them as was his wont. He called out the beasts who had betrayed him, children, and do you know what happened then?
    >HE BASHED THEIR HEADS IN!
    >ohohohoho, no no children. The Liberator was a great man, he offered them peace under his rule. They would fall back to forests as is the place of Beasts and live in peace. Men would take the plains, the mountains, cities, but the Beasts would have their home too... only... Beasts are proud, children, and so they spat at the Liberator's feet.
But the Liberator showed his greatness once more, offered to spare their armies by facing off in single combat, but the Beasts were craven, and drew their blades on him at once. The battle was terrible. Many good men died that day, but they felled many more Beasts. The Liberator killed his Betrayers, and exterminated their treacherous race from these lands.
Still, some say the Beasts are still trying to usurp the world of men, so what do you do when a Beasts talks to you?
    >Children (Altogether): To words, pay no heed, but watch their every deed.
    >That's right, now off to bed, darlings, sweet dreams
