04/27/11(Wed)06:40 No.14734455>>14734397 it is the nature of evolution. Expose a population to hardship, the weak die, and the strong adapt. The survivors, whatever they may be, are superior to the deceased. Humanity has survived several ice ages, internal wars, climate disasters of almost every description, and a variety of other events and stimuli which decimated the population but allowed the survivors to build back better than their ancestors. That's how evolution works. It is the cornerstone of organic life. The only smart thing the philosopher Nietzsche ever said was 'That which does not kill me, only makes me stronger'. The same goes for humanity. anything less than 90% extinction will result in stronger, smarter, tougher humans replacing the deceased. That's what happened after the last 2 ice ages, the dark ages, WW1, and WW2. That's the way life works. All life. Bacteria, plants, animals, everything. Even the polymorphic AI viruses I designed to shut down all intelligent machines. Constant competition, constant struggle. Anything less is death. Slow or fast, brutal or peaceful. Still death. |
