Because we already knew that. I mean, the ungrateful little bastard destroyed a world created out of the dreams of him and his friends because he, specifically, didn't like it. The reason? It, "wasn't real." Even though he could bleed, hurt, and even die, the world wasn't real because it was converted from his old world by a magic book.
The world wasn't evil, it didn't destroy his world, just changed it. None of the monsters or bad guys were inherently evil, just jerks or pawns, really... The book turned his world into his and his friends' dream game and put them in it as the main characters. And what did he do?
He stabbed the embodiment of the book, who also happened to be its recreation of his best friend's mother, to death. Right in front of said friend.
"No, fuck this world, it isn't real enough for me. We're all going home, whether you childish little bastards want to or not, just so the game company that made this game can make a hypocritical statement about how we should put down our fantasy games and go outside." |
