04/13/11(Wed)22:48 No.14586441An order of monks originally, whose monastery was ransacked and burned. All that remained were scraps of parchment and signage arranged to read "Obey Inglip". Thus they took Inglip as their new leader. Many thought them mad, for they received their instructions from the wanton destruction of any reading material, from wanted signs to holy texts. They would take whatever scraps were at hand and destroy them, and whatever remained was an absolute order. Indeed, many times groups of monks would come into conflict with each other, having received opposing orders. Sometimes, they'd find instructions in the remains of the obviously less faithful group.
Many thought the Inglipites mad, but others sought to join them; it seemed they could not fail when pursuing the dictates of this new god. And if he demanded his servants be killed or imprisoned no matter, all gods require sacrifice as all servants require tests of faith. But as their reach grows so do their enemies:
Holy orders seek to destroy the monks, who will steal and destroy holy texts on a whim.
There is no shortage of mages who've lost their spellbooks to Inglipites, and they are begining to hatch a plan.
The governments of the world have lost innumerable documents to the cult, slowing the work of the bureaucracies to a crawl.
So it came as no surprise when these groups sent out their best to oppose the cult, and stop the destuction of these texts. However, Inglip has forseen this, and instructed one of his followers to join the group. He always takes first watch, and always throws some scraps on to the last breaths of the dying campfire...
