If the only way to regain spent Essence is to eliminate the Resonance caused by its use, how is it possible to also regain Essence by feeding? Does feeding only regain your Essence without removing Resonance?
What will happen if you pass a Resonance Eruption test when you already have full Essence?
Does the Resonance Eruption test become easier to pass when you have more Resonance (TN 15 when you have 1 Resonance, TN 13 when 2 Resonance, TN 12 when 3 Resonance etc.) or have I understood it incorrectly?

Well, swordsmen have basic sword attacks to rely on at low level, and can generally get an extra 2k0 on their damage rolls with starting special attack options. Mages have far more utility, though, with effects like Porte, Charm Person, and so on. Not to say that dropping a fireball is bad for anyone!

It's really pretty simple stuff. Rolls come in the form of XkY. Roll X dice, keep the Y dice that are best. Compare against a TN. Most tests are made using a skill and a characteristic. Roll dice equal to the total of the skill and characteristic, keep dice equal to the characteristic. (So someone making, say, an Acrobatics and Dex check with an Acrobatics of 4 and a Dex of 3 rolls 7 (4+3) dice and keeps the best 3.)

It's an extra 2k0. So they might have, say 3k2 for a hand weapon, +3k0 for 3 dots in Strength, and +2k0 for their special attack for 8k2. High numbers of unkept dice basically becomes critseeking, but you can get surprisingly high results.

I don't recall any instance where '2k0' is a flat roll in and of itself- it's normally a bonus, meaning you get to roll an extra 2 dice in your pool. It's normally an upgrade- a 3k2 weapon may have a 2k0 damage upgrade, which basically means it becomes a 5ks weapon now.
