!Ykpfge10hU 03/25/11(Fri)01:02 No.14357820Found was cross but curious. On one hand she had had to pull away from the combined Femto-Etco mission at the last moment and place two of the new xenospace operators into the mission to organize the on-site hoard. When Evergrad had deposited the combined reports of those two and the other “candidates”, filled with redacted sections and alluding to missing files, showing the ODF and IQ’s attempts to make exactly what Found was, a human capable of psionically controlling xenos, on her desk, she had become morbidly impressed. Not that she would have wished to use them except that the growing xeno army was starting to strain hers and Domino’s control. They were misfits and experiments, scattered with a few stable, normal soldiers who just happened to be psionically sensitive to xenos, and after they had had their first debriefing, Evergrad had started getting them ready to supplement Domino and Found. Just more layers of human control and protection, Found mused to herself, the Overseer covering his ass.
And so when she had to turn it all over to an unknown quality, even supervised as it was by Domino, she had been put in a bad mood. However the carrot had been the intriguing “Paradox Command”. The psi-comm command had come out of nowhere, all the handshakes and data queries telling her this was a legitimate branch of psi-comm dealing with chrono-related disturbances, that needed her to reinforced a group of time-displaced soldiers, Bravo’s soldiers no less, as they were sent off on missions. It seemed that Evergrad wouldn’t waste resources, even ones with the potential to cause paradox, which “PC” assured her was bad. So she had spent the last hours working away at the chunk of xenospace she had set up for the operators, as well as working some subliminal programming into the interface.
