    http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/14144463/

Darkness swims in your head as you lull between the void of unconciousness and coherent thought.

'Psyker~.. Psyker~..!' You hear a voice calling to you from within the confines of your own head.

'Psyker~.' Says the voice, echoing out from the blackness. You feel yourself gently being stroked, a hand gently caressing over your head, the cooing voice relaxing your stressed mind. Your eyes slowly blink open, staring up at the Daemonette.

'Wake up.' She says, sharply slapping you across the face.

"WAKE UP!" Shouted a guardsman, your face now stinging with the feeling of being slapped. It wasn't Vedra. The guardsman ripped his knife free and cut your straps, catching you as you slumped out of the Chimera seat.

"Awww, Frak!" The Guardsman said, dragging you outside with your bag of kit. Your head swam with the images around you, the sky having darkened to a crimson hue, the sound of lasfire and the smell of ozone filling the air. A pair of Valkyries skimmed the ground, making a strafing run not far from where the Chimeras sat.

"It isn't safe here! Ved-" The Guardsman was cut off by a lasbolt catching him in the throat. His hands let go of his lasgun and shot to his neck, clutching as he spewed blood from his neck and mouth. He collapsed and fell over, dead.

The battle is raging on, now, the small settlement you saw before now looking more like a fortified bastion as a few of the weapons teams hammer away with Autocannons and Heavy Bolters.

    >Find others.

You support yourself on your Force Staff as you lumber up the battlefield, gunfire streaming all around you. Your Auger Arrays begin registering blips approaching, as you near the fortified gunlines.

"TED! How did you get here? Where is John?" Vedra shouts to you, pulling you down into cover. She must be referring to the guardsman sent to fetch you.

"H-He d-did not make it." You say, still feeling the spatter of blood on your face.

"Frak..." She said, doubling back over the barricade, letting off some rounds.

A group of cultists fired from the open field, sending shots wildly over your head.

They shake and jitter from the shock before either bursting into flames or collapsing into a charred husk.

Panting, you retreat to the safety of the barricade.

Vedra picks you up, and drags you with your head down over to another, nearby Chimera. She forces you inside, where you find the Tech Priest you met what seemed like ages ago, Toch Prost.

"Greetings Ted Unit. Praise the Omnissiah for your safe return to us." He said. Another figure in the rear of the Chimera looked over to you, the garb of an Inquisitorial Storm Trooper covering his whole body.

"What is the next task, Inquisitor?" Prost asked, turning towards Vedra.

"We're cutting out the cancer at the heart, Toch." Vedra responded as she climbed into the Chimera. The ramp closed and the interior light flickered to life, Guardswoman Vedra pulling on a thick black cloak and replacing her Flak Helmet with a heavy black hat.

Guardswoman, who you know now is in fact Inquisitor Vedra, begins briefing the small squad.

"Ted, I am aware your note was from Inquisitor Charlemagne, however he requested my assistance in the matter, as insurance. Never owe an Inquisitor a favor."

You believe that to be the best advice you have ever heard in your entire life.

"As you detected, there is a concentration within the Administratum building. We will approach from the east, and enter from the lower populated area. We will be in, then out, before Lt. Mallear calls in the next set of air strikes. We are to capture the leader for questioning, before we kill him and root out this heresy from within."

"Replacement Bionics are only if needed, Ted Unit. If you feel your ocular organs are failing, please seek medicae."

The Chimera slid to a halt as the ramp dropped, Vedra, Toch Prost both stepping out. The silent Storm Trooper moved from behind you, looking armed to the teeth with his full load out of gear. You now saw that he carried a Power Blade on his thigh, as well as a plasma pistol and Hot-Shot Lasgun (Or Hellgun, for your old schoolers).

Toch Prost produced one of several mechandrites toting a few las weapons. Inquisitor Vedra armed herself with her Inferno Pistol and Force Blade.

"I s-sense danger in our f-future... C-Chaos ap-p-p-proaches." You stutter, taking heed of the Daemonette's possible warning of 'friends' being nearby.

As you enter the rear of the Administratum Building, you are met head on by a band of heretics, the Storm Trooper quickly, cleanly killing each of the half-dozen or so with a few well placed shots. He says nothing as he steps over the bodies, sweeping the nearest corners, nodding in acknowledgment of them being clear. Your trio enters a passageway, making headlong for the head office, the Inquisitor nodding to the door as the Storm Trooper dispatches the guards.

Toch Proch consults with the machine spirits of the the code lock, negotiating entrance into the room.

The door opens, revealing the Governor discussing something on a vox unit, turning with a laspistol to fire. The shot goes wide as the Storm Trooper puts a round through his hand, then his leg.

"YOU FOOLS! IT'S TOO LATE NOW! THE D-" The mad rambling is silenced by Vedra's Inferno Pistol stuck fast against his cheek.

"We care not for your banter, heretic, we want answers. And I doubt your Dark Gods will save you from melta rounds." Vedra says as Toch Prost brings a chair over after sealing the door. The Storm Trooper sets up the Governor in the chair.

"What do you feel, Ted Unit. Will you probe his mind or should we probe his stomach?" Toch Prost asks, producing a Medicae Mechandrite.

"FUCK YOUR SHIT, I'M AN IMPERIAL PSYKER!"

Reaching with your 12 strength grip, you snap your hand around the daemon's beak, slamming his ugly face into the dirt. His muffled screams are silenced as you curbstomp his ass into oblivion.

"JUST AS PLANNED..." echos through the area. You punch the air, impacting something dickish.

    "OW!... NOT AS PLANNED."

Using your 12 Strength Psyker Fist, you rip another hole in the Immaterium, dragging your ass back to the room with Inquisitor Vedra, instantly getting her pregnant from your manly aura as you flip off Chaos.

And then Hammerhand wears off and you shrivel back to your 3 Strength self. And Vedra instantly miscarries. And the plot resumes.

You probe his mind, finding nothing more than heretical banter, though you do find some cloaked hulking figure that he seemed to learn from. As you probe deeper, you're snapped out of your trance.
