02/09/11(Wed)22:15 No.13844574>>13844456 (Why, sure. It's not a complete list, because I don't feel like compiling that sort of information right now, but here's what was on that list:)
Tarsonis: Capital of the Confederacy, this is the single most populated planet in Terran space, and the most heavily defended. It is the center of all Confederate operations, construction, and is the supposed location of Kingston himself, though we can't confirm that. Moria: The former capital of the Kel-Morian Combine, and the second most populated planet in Terran space. Since the Combine's absorption into the Confederacy, its governmental functions are likely less vital, but Moria is perhaps as vital to the Terran economy as Tarsonis. Umoja: The former capital of the Umojan Protectorate, the third-largest government in Terran space, Umoja is a pretty jewel in space. It exports consumer goods and has a small, if dedicated, defensive network. Since its absorption into the Confederacy, its governmental functions are likely insignificant. While a major contributor to the Terran way of life, it is a much easier and less vital target than the capitals of the larger factions. Tyrador System: Two worlds in this system are notable: VIII and IX. VIII is a bastion of scientific progress, holding facilities both military and civilian, but little else. IX is primarily a resort world, with a reputation as the last military fallback point for the Old Families which carry significant weight in the Confederate government. It is a symbol of Confederate wealth and security, and a place of rest. |
