The cacophony of violence and pain probably lasts only thirty seconds or so, but Helen loses all sense of time as she writhes, unable to control the flow of her own blood, the shadowy remnant of some once-titanic mind.
She can vaguely hear shouting voice, feel hands pulling her to her feet, screams of pain; they're her own screams. >Aw, I feel for you girl. If Spider-Lebron had been there, he'da given you a hug. Shit, I'da given you like four hugs at the same time, check out these legs, honky! DAMN!
Finally she starts to focus again. She is alone again, in her brightly-lit room. The lights flicker off; an automatic system, or some petty attempt at punishment. In the last instant of light she can see blood spattered against the walls, bits of muscle, bone, skin caked on with it. Her blood is done burning, but her flesh aches, leaking the dark red stains all over the cold metal floors. She can't get the taste of iron out of her mouth. >T_T that's how you do one of those right? Spider-Lebron ain't no computer whiz.
"Why," comes the girls whispering voice, choking on the bubbling remnants of the seething torrent of sanguine fury. "Why is this happening to me?" There is an interminable silence, broken occasionally by a young girls hysterical weeping. "It's alright," your blood says at last. "I'm here. It's going to be okay." A shadow of calm crosses Helen's face.
>Shit, son! This seems like it just raised more questions than it answered! StonerDM's gonna start a new thread, I hope y'all enjoyed yourselves hangin' with Lebron. Gimme like, four high-fives. BAM! Keep it real, y'all, smoke a bible page or something sometime, we'll chill. |
