THIS DOM HAS A GUN, THEREFORE: IT'S A GUN-DOM! [KABOOOM!]

It's that time of the week again gentlemen.

You are Ace Mobile Suit pilot David Lister, Liuetenant for the Principality of Zeon. You have just completed a dangrous missions to capture an enemy double agent, and rescue to some POW's, and in between this you found the time to take out the Federations experimental Subterranean Battleship.

In the aftermath of it's defeat, you had the survivng POW's load up in trucks that you had brought for such an occaision, and together you and Incognito (your friendly neighbourhood Zeonic Spook) travel back to your parked Fat Uncle supertransport to quickly return to base.

Quickly because Incognito is going to go spare when he figures out that your third pilot was secretly Garma Zabi.

    YES, THAT GARMA ZABI.

    Your current squad consists of:

You, David Lister - Piloting your old Zaku, which has been upgraded several times over the months, and is currently an F2 type.

Zolomon Ringo - Close Combat Specialist - Piloting the MS-07B Gouf (Zolomon Custom)

Garma Zabi - Foppish Scion of Zeon - Piloting another MS-06F2.

When you return to New York, you might need to think up some kind of excuse as to how Garma Zabi was able to switch himself with the third wingman you should have had: Elaine "Ruubens" Arronax.

    Incognito will never know.

We'll have to stay in our suits in case our transport plane gets attacked. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!

And once we return to NYC, it will be easy to swap Garma out.

    Fuck Yeah, ZEONQUEST.

We should hope like hell Incognito keeps on being blissfully unaware, If he DO figure out tell him that we can´t disobey our superior(Garma) no matter what he says, And tell him you already had a talk with garma, But only if he figures us out.

On another note,Things i think we should do now when we are back.

    1) Ask the others what happened while we were gone, See if it match up with the tapes, If it do not, Press them on it if they refuse to give details after all security tapes tend to be mute, Also try to see if Shiro stopped sucking yet, Tell Ruubens how we figured out that Garma was impersonating her, try figuring out if she was in on it or not.
    2) Tell Garma that we can´t melt brains and that that was a joke, A high up getting that idea about Newtypes will just spread false rumors about Newtypes... And honestly Newtypes are being treated bad enough as it is. There is a reason as why they are know as a "Unlucky lot" by U.C. 0123.
    3) Ask people around about what a Newtypes REALLY are, How the war effort is going and find out if there are any rumors about ourself,Garma or anyone in our team, Do this in a paper thin disguise(In sunglasses and rolled up sleeves, NO ON WILL EVER KNOW!), We should atleast get some humor from it. And if we raise enough fuss about us potentially being a newtype(Since we arn´t sure yet In character.) we might catch Kycillias/Flanagans interest.
    4) Write those damn Essays.
    5) Go into town with anyone except Shiro, That kid needs to train his MS capabilities so he can hold his own and stop dragging Jolyne down, and i doubt he is of drinking age yet anyway... Infact ask Shiro how old he is before departing. Im pretty sure he never told us.

IN FLIGHT CONVERSATION WITH GARMA ZABI.

"... I am sorry about this. It's just, I never actually get a chance to do anything you know?" He says.

"It's fine, at least you know to listen to orders in a firefight." You state.

"You know, I really think you unit is wasted Babysitting me all over the place."

"It's really not a problem." you assure him.

"No, it IS, I don't think you realise just how important veteran pilots are on the front lines. I mean your group is EASILY on par with the Midnight Fenrir Corps, you should be doing more than just my honour guard."

"Well, SOMEONE'S got to be watching your back. The Generals barely let you leave the mansion in California when you were on your own..."

You return to New York by plane at roughly 9pm.

The rest of your crew (apart from Elaine) are waiting for you upon your arrival.

    ANY QUESTIONS?

The Federation's been using stolen Zakus for months now. Honestly, from the things I saw at Roswell, and since, that fucking drill included, our technological superiority will soon be a moot point.

And once the Federation is fielding mobile suits of its own, well sir, you know how that'll be. We have a finite amount of soldiers. Shiro's only 16. We're using children here. Fucking kids. The Feds have the whole fucking planet to recruit from. If things don't change soon, we'll quickly find ourselves outnumbered, and outgunned.

You spend the rest of the week working on those various papers. You've managed to get a couple of letters back from Military specialists and sociology professors back in Side 3, which has provided some extra insight into what you're trying to do.

We should rotate a "predator" style training scenario where our entire team except one sets out on a patrol, and whoever the "predator" is, has to try to eliminate all of the squad via ambush/frontal assault/whatever.

would be good training for our troopers to learn to think on their feet without having to rely on a command structure.

After you get back, you can't find Incognito anywhere. He's probably doing something important and unpleasant somewhere.

You spend the rest of June testing the Dom prototype. The high speed is going to pen up some interesting tactics, but teaching over-eager rookies not to charge forward and isolate themselves is going to be the tricky part.

Around the end of June the Dom Prototype is taken back by Zimmad for developing the production model.

    YMS-09 DOM REMOVED FROM HANGAR.

You continue to spend your time training with your squad (and Garma) and writing up yet more of the essay. Occaisionally you do the odd Patrol, but this close to friendly territory you don't ever get into a firefight.

At the start of July, Garma calls you in for a personal meeting...

You see him write the words "To do: Rename Listers unit" on a sheet of paper on his desk.
    He continues.

"In order to finish this war as the victor, there is only one option: Take Jaburo."

"At the start of the war, an orbital troop drop on Jaburo was discussed, but decided against as it was believed that our current MS forces would be stymied by the dense rainforests and rivers and units would become isolated and unable to mount a successful attack. Now however, our earth based technology and experience at fighting groundside is at an all time high, and I believe that a concerted naval and air assault on Jaburo could now possibly take the Federation HQ. When you took out that Federation Suberranean Battleship, analysis of it's design has revealed several avenues of mobile suit design to us. The tech teams in California and Hawaii are working together to design several types of Mobile Suit expressly specialised for an assault on Jaburo."

"I wont lie to you David, this is NOT the best time for an attack, and our chances of victory are far from assured, but as we both know, the point of no return for us is fast approaching. If this doesn't work, we can perhaps recover, any later however, and this operations failure good spell doom for the principality. That's the plan."

Okawara is now with you, and riding in the Gaw yes. If so deploy the Suits and make a sneakattack at the enemy vessels from below(They should be somewhat unaware of the underwater capabillities of a Mobile Suitf), After that jump up on them before they can deploy any mines and attack the bridges, Once the bridges are gone the fighting abillity of fleets should drop dramatically. You have the Fat Uncle get closer to the Gaw an open it's front bay. You all dive out and onto the main body of the oversized plane.

The Fat Uncle then moves away so as not to get into anybodies firing arcs.
Jolyne attempts to mount the Gaw as well, you see her hand fail to gain purchase, but you manage to grasp her hand and pull her up.

    "You okay?"

    "I'm fine!"

You all pick a spot and start scanning for enemies. They soon appear. The Gaw's AA turrets start firing and you can see the Dopps begin duelling with what appears to be mostly Fly Manta's.

"Man. These guy's haven't been threatening since Mexico, they sure as hell aren't worse now." comments Zolomon as he starts picking them off with his 35 mil.

A couple of stray rockets hit the Gaw but it weathers the storm easily. You all manage to score a couple of kills, the Dopps as well.

Your Gaw, continues to power it's way forwards towards Hawaii, in fact you can hear it's engines straining.

"Uh Captain, can I check something, are those engines SUPPOSED to be making that noise."

"Normally no, but don't worry, we'll make it to Hawaii before it get's to be a problem." He assures.

It looks like a second wave of enemy fighters are incoming. Still more Fly Manta's.

You prepare yourself for a second wave.

Since were autosaging, I'll start archiving this, and start finishing up.

You deal with a second wave much like the first. Luckily none of them make any lucky shots on the wing engines. That could have been... unfortunate.

With the second wave dealt with as easily as the first, you stand ready for a possible third wave. After about 10 minutes it becomes clear that it's not coming.

Although to add to your worries, the engines are beginning to smoke slightly.

The next twenty minutes are very fraught, but luckily you're able to make it to Hawaii before the Gaw drops out of the sky. It lands heavily on the runway, and is quickly attended to by fire engines spraying coolant onto it's wings.

You quickly dismount the Gaw and are called over on the intercom.

"Thank god your here! That enemy fleet you encountered is what's left of the Federation Navy, they're making a fullscale attack on Hawaii!"

    TO BE CONTINUED!

It's a minovski fusion bottle similar to how a beam saber or beam rifle works. Fusion reactors pump plasma into a containment field bubble that just happens to be inside a large projectile. Lob said projectile at desired target and the bubble pops on impact.

    Instant mini-nuke.

Ofcourse my plan was just to build a fake one and trick the Feddies into attacking it.
