You do fire off a Smokescreen as the boat zooms away. Afterwards, you come down to see Magnemite, who seems to be shuddering slightly, and Snover, who's... frightened, certainly, but holding her own.
And then... you feel a sudden surge of power as the knowledge that you managed to kind of fight off a much higher-level Pokemon hits home. For this, you each gain six levels. Magnemite and Snover both learn new attacks, which I'll cover in the next post: for now, Charmander has reached level 16 and evolves into Charmeleon!

We turn our attention to Sableye as he stands over his passed-out friend. After giving the Ghost Pokemon a sympathetic look, we fish out a Revive from Sarina's bag and begin administering it to Seviper.
