    Chapter 2 pt1: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/12385200/

Verity was already working on Anna. She was in hysterics. The servo skull was patching up the wounded sisters. Elizabeth was being tended by the twins. There were several sisters clustered around Caramel, her body badly burned but still breathing for now. The farseer was wandering around, doing what she could to heal the injured.

Neither Anna nor Caramel looked like they would last long.

There were several sisters clustered around filigree, nudging the unconscious daemon with their bolters or boots, unsure if they should shoot her or not.

    What about Evangela?
Filigree I assume is still unconscious but stable
    The inquistor lord?
"Blessed Martyr Esme- I do not know the extent of your powers, but please, help me save these women. If you think you can do anything, anything at all- please?"
I'd think that, depending on the extent of her healing powers, whoever has the biggest punch should go to Anna, the other to sister caramel.
To the group clustering around Filigree- "Oi! YOU LOT. Why don't you help Secure the perimiter if you're so anxious to blamm the heretical. There are plenty of deamons who want to kill you at this point, so if you don't want to help her, concentrate one of them."

They glance about nervously before scurrying off, unsure of what else to do.

Esme goes first to sister Anna, placing one hand gently on her forehead, speaking quietly with Verity. The hospitaller lowers her eyes and responds, Anna's body glowing a moment later. Esme slowly stands and walks off to tend to the wounded.

You wern't aware Evangela was behind you until she spoke. "Never have I borne witness to such faith... I believe I have misjudged you Inquisitor. Seeing Filigree for what she truly was..." Her face became cold. "I'm sure you had your reasons, but I do not think I will ever fully understand them."

Esme crossed the floor to the Inquisitor Lord, kneeling next to him. She had completely passed up sister Caramel.

    WHAT ABOUT CARAMEL
    Gorram
I head over to Caramel, and try my best to heal- if I cannot save her, then I can ease her passing
"Evangela, as I said before," I reply over my shoulder "I do what I must- I would never ask for your approval, only to understand. Like with Caramel -speaking of which, a little understanding, and some help?"

Filigree groaned, sitting up slowly, placing one hand on her head. She slowly rose to her feet, reaching over and detaching the entire lightning claw gauntlet, letting it fall to the floor. Disoriented, she looked around. Her eyes focused on you, and she limped over, unconcerned about Evangela. She rested her chin on your pauldron, whining. "I hurt in my everyplace..."

You roll your eyes and pat her on the head, walking off toward Sister Caramel. Filigree stands there for a moment before trotting after you, trying to get away from the rapidly angering living saint.

You kneel down next to Caramel. Her sash and hair have been completely burned off, shards of armor sticking out of her flesh at odd angles. She was bleeding badly, her skin charred and blackened through visible through the huge chunks of missing armor. She turned her head toward you, smiling weakly. "How'd I do?"

It's not that easy Inquisitor. I suggest, however, you remove Filigree from the situation. Verity does not appear to be enjoying her company. That and Florencia is about to wake up." She glanced in the direction of the Canoness in question who was being tended to by her squad of seraphim.

Looking around, You notice Sonja had moved to Elizabeth's side, helping the twins tend to her.Galatea had gone to help the Inquisitor Lord. He had lost a lot of blood and would probably be out for quite a while. Various sisters were drifting around the room, whispering prayers for those who fell in battle. You couldn't imagine the death toll planet-wide... system-wide...

The Farseer approached you. She only had two Warlocks, a Great Harlequin, and the Warp Spider Exarch left of the forces she had brought. She... Did not look pleased.

"I'll leave you two alone..." Esme slipped away, the sisters whom she passed bowing at the sight of her.

Rodwen stopped right in front of you, her eyes crackling with electricity. "I don't know what I should do Inquisitor. Binding a daemon? Was it the stupid act of a lust-driven mon-keigh, or was it a selfless act of valor to save your world? If I had to guess? A bit of both."

Well, if Elizabeth is bleeding out, we can always provide the necessary blood because lolbiomancer
    As for Anna.....
Hmm, I may have an idea involving Filigrees lash of torment. It allows the wielder to feel what the victim feels, and amplifies, right?
What if we used Filigrees lash of torment, or at least part of it, to help directly feel what Anna feels, see what she's thinking, and perhaps reverse the feedback of the whip, so that we can fill her with peaceful, holy, healing thoughts

"Hah- verity has some spunk. Filigree just roll with it for the moment- they're not actively dousing you liberally with holy promethium so you've got that going for you. Just continue to act as non rapist as possible, and we should be good."
I turn my focus to the wounded women, probing the wounds of her flesh, sealing and repairing where I can, gauging their extent. It looks like she's lost a lot of blood- well, biomancy can be very helpful in situations such as these, my regenerative powers basically make me a walking blood bank.

I can't think of a quicker way to have the sisters turn on us than that. The moment we suggest that, we are going to piss off quite a few of them.
It's a daemon weapon for one thing, and whilst it allows the wielder to feel what the victim is feeling, it also causes immense pain.
The plan would also involve having filigree think peacefull holy thoughts, she doesn't really do that.

I am strongly against this as I really think it would cause more harm than good, not only to Anna. Interesting idea though.

I'd say we cought of a tentacle from Filigrees lash and try to do biomancy on it, see if it's at all reactive to our powers and if we can't exploit it

lashes of torment injects venom (Most likely a mixture of hormones because its not actually toxic) into the victim that overstimulates nerves and then the lash transfers that into pleasure for the wearer.

Elizabeth: As the other anons have already suggested, I'd think our biomancy powers might save our ass here. Having Esme nearby, calming the warp, should help as well.

Anna: She has been brain raped. Although I appreciate the irony if Filigree should be the key to saving her, I'd like to ask the Farseer first.

We should also get the Seraphim to scout for survivors, I'm sure not all of the are necessary to tend to Florencia.

Filigree: If we can't take care of her at the moment, ask Esme to watch out for her. It might make our Damonette feel a bit awkward but that's still better than getting killed.

Sonja was quiet for a long moment before backing off. The twins didn't say anything, Elizabeth. They knew this wasn't their call.

You could hear the silver winged angels stirring. Florencia was probably waking up... You probably wanted to get the support of Galatea or drag Esme off of Tessa if you wanted to survive your next encounter with her.

You begin focusing on replenishing the sister's blood. You couldn't do too much, psykicly exhausted as you were, but when you were done she looked a lot better.

They pulled out several small tins, each containing a solid block of brownish protein mash or something that was supposed to be good for you.

Filigree took one, wrinkling her nose. "Err... This isn't food... I don't even think this is edible."

You ask her what she wants to eat. The grin on her face makes you really wish you hadn't. Her voice dropped an octave. "I'll give you three guesses Quizzy, and the first two don't count."

She turned, resuming her digging, but the smile stayed.

    The twins whispered. "Inquisitor""You're blushing."

You are both very glad and disappointed they agreed to come with you

Filigree peeked over your shoulder, hugging. "What is that Quizzy? Can I have it when your done with it? Its very shiny. I like shiny. I could turn that into a very pretty belt. Would you like a belt? Grox leather can be surprisingly nice if you dye it correctly."

The realm of pleasure consists of its own environments covering vast areas of the warp and leading right up to the defensive rings around the palace. The building itself is huge and ornate with many floors. The top one is the throne room. A cavernous space so massive that you can barely see the master's throne from the entryway. Only the greatest of daemonettes are allowed near the throne. The heralds." She picked up another huge rock, tossing it to the side. "They get to comb the master's hair... give massages..."

You managed to shift enough debris to get the door open. The inside of the cabinet had a ring of wards meant to block any and all psykic activity. They had been broken when the cabinet was hit with falling rock. These wards are why the warp entities didn't bother checking the cabinet. They couldn't sense anything inside.

Crawling out slowly was a sanctioned psyker, garbed in fine, but dirty robes. Her head was shaved bald, the psykic enhancing and anti-perils implants that she had been given powered by several tubes leading from her skull into the back of her robes where she presumably wore a power pack.

Crawling out after her was a tech-priestess. She appeared to still have a human arm and one of her eyes was still flesh. She had on a large metal power pack, wires hanging loosely from one side. She most likely had a mechadendrite at one point that she had to remove to fit into the cabinet.

The psyker spoke. "You have no idea how happy we are to see you, Inquisitor."

"And I'm Fortran. I service the holy machines from The Dark Age of Technology that reside in the cathedral." She stood and dusted herself off before continuing, the psyker doing the same. "Chloe called me over to work on some of the holy machines. Shortly after I arrived, she nearly had a seizure, and the warp storm and daemons began appearing."

Chloe continued. "I made this cabinet a long time ago to shut out the psykic activity around me if it gets to be too much. I had to use it once when Fortran was here and so she got me down and into it before the fight."

Fortran fidgeted, looking ashamed. "I would have helped but I have no combat experience..."

"Fortran, it seems like you're missing some equipment. Is that still around here and salvageable?"

"I'll explain in detail when I have the chance- just remember that everyone I associate with is here to help, above all else."
Give her a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
"In the meantime, help your friend and I'll go revendous with two others of my helpers- Carol and Coral, sisters of battle. They've been scouting for survivors at the moment. Twins. They tend to finish each others sentences."
    Go up the stairs.
"I've found two survivors- a psyker and techpriestess. I hope you two have as good news as mine?"

The twins shook their heads. "Some troops are scattered around.""They didn't need help though.""They are heading to the center anyway.""They are looking for survivors."

Filigree bounded up next to them, wearing her boots. "Florencia tried to hit me with her hammer but she was too mad to swing straight. It took seven sisters to hold her back! It was hilarious!"

Carol and Coral fidgeted. "We are just glad Galatea was there to get the thunder hammer away from her.""We had to lock her in the cathedral's dungeon until she calmed down.""She bent the bars.""It was terrifying."

    :D

"Well, I am glad that all of managed to get back here unharmed. Did you bring the ammo?"
Wait for the two survivors to appear.
While pointing at the respective person
"Carol, Coral, Filigree - these are Chloe and Fortran. They managed to survive the fight and will help us find and save other survivors."
"Chloe, as a psyker who isn't totally drained from the last battle, can you sense any survivors nearby?"
"Fortran, do you know if there were any communication arrays around here? It would really help to reestablish communications with the ships in orbit, if any remain. Maybe there are some other survivors on the planet."

Smile weakly, turn to our new companions
"Yes, Florencia. Erm, she's rather, enthusiastic in her job. As a psyker, I'd avoid her Chloe.
Alright- any idea of where there could be possible survivors trapped or unable to find?"
Hrmm, take out eldar soul stone, head in direction it shines brightest
"I think others may still need our help."

And I hope I can assume that the eldar and imperial forces aren't killing each other?"

If other troops are looking for survivors, the only advantage we have over them is when it comes to finding Eldar. Let's try to find some by using the farseer's device.

Even ties against any kind of Eldar are a good thing. There a billions of humans in the galaxy and maybe a few million eldar left.
