Walker, a normally calm, if not eccentric individual, watches on the monitor aboard the bridge of The Lucky O'Reilly as Apollo, to get this plan to work, is attempting to ram - and subsequently ride - an asteroid into enemy lines, and certain doom. Even if Apollo is a clone, to Walker, this speaks of levels of the pilot's character. One of the bridge technicians sees Major Walker briefly bring a finger below his glasses.
"Sir, are you alright? Is there a problem with your HUD?"
"What? Oh, nothing son. Just a little speck of dust on my glasses, is all."
It should be noted that most, if not all, ships, have a constant air-cycle system that keeps the ship's air immaculately clean and dust free. |
