07/28/10(Wed)07:21 No.11404634>>11404522 >>11404532 >>11404563 You've seen enough. You thank Mr. Pilder for the tours, and hand him a sack of money. 500 silver, up front, for two months. He doesn't insult you by trying to count it. He simply puts it into his pocket. Taking a ledger from seemingly nowhere, he opens it. "Excellent. I will need you to sign some paperwork of course, which I have brought with me." You sign a few leases and Mr. Pilder bows to you. "It was a pleasure doing business with you. Should you decide to purchase the house, please contact me. I bid you a good day." Well, now all you have to do is move in. The house is a little musty, but opening a few windows should fix that. Your party is used to moving around, so it should only take one trip to get everything here. Tabby walks up to you, smiling. "The stables are dry and in good condition. We'll need to buy straw but we have enough feed for a few days. And we can let the horses graze on the yard until we get some more. Working in a stables kinda reminds me of home." Zanne is the next to head your way. "I have just taken a look at the kitchen. The pantries are bare, but it has all the pots and pans I could need." The house is fully furnished, and the beds in the 'servant's quarters' are, surprisingly, big enough for Grue and Ta'Kal. |
