359 KB Mercs and Planes Update? Skyhawk !c6DO1M4BMw 06/22/10(Tue)12:19 No.10666075
Ladies and gentlemen...I've been out of contact for a good while and i was wondering if there'd been another thread since OP posted the mission brief for the african harbor assault the other week. I would assume so but I can't be sure since game updates have been rather sparse lately.

If there have been updates and threads since that one i'd appreciate a link to any saved threads that you can provide.

    Cheers mates.

The capabilities of the Su-30MKM is on par with, or even surpasses, the capabilities of top-of-the-line US fighter jets such as the F-22 Raptor. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that other US-made fighters such as the F-5, F-15 and F-16, which the Republic of Singapore Air Force possesses, or the F-18 used by the Royal Australian Air Force, are far less capable than the Su-30MKM.

Malaysia will receive the first 18 Sukhoi Su-30-MKM Flanker fighters with air superiority diameter of up to Australia and Hong kong., the most advanced versions of the Su-27 warplane, and probably the best airplane in the world after the F-22 Raptor. The Su-30MKM will be the ultimate fighter aircraft in the shifting balance of regional air power in the south asean region. With units like MiG-29, Su-30MKM and F/A-18D, the Malaysian air force can potentially beat any contemporary adversaries.

The export of Su-30s created alot of tensions/concerns around the world - Malaysian airforce acquired Su-30MKM turned into much capable airforce in the region and indirectly forced Austrilian airforce to consider and pay attention to its airforce. Australia and Singapore long term plan to acquire the F-35 or maybe F-22 in meantime use inadequate stopgap measure of F-18F super hornet and F-15E strike eagle... but given the lower training standard of australian and singapore pilots this poses no threat to Malaysia. We can boldly say that Malaysia have the strongest air force in Asia.

The combination of Su-30s and future multirole combat aircraft will make the RMAF an airpower to be respected.

The Mig-29 is Inferior to the F-18 in the areas that matter.
The F-18 F from Australia is Superior to everything save maybe the J10 and definitely the Sukhois and Eagles.

    The correct list would be
    SU-30MKI/M
    F-15
    J10 (maybe)
    F-18F
    SU-27

They tried to make it sorta-multirole, what with the whole "electronic support" role...but that just makes it a flying, missile-laden stealth AWACS.

Here's a better idea. Build a miniature AWACS with stealth technology and tons of BVRAAMs! Instead of trying to make a dogfighter/air-superiority fighter that also works as a stand-off platform AND an ESP and failing it hardcore.

Other way around. The fact that they regularly train with US and other forces means they kick their neighbours' asses. Check any wargames results that are publicly available in which the IAF participate. They regularly "score" the highest.

Sure, some are tagged down by US, Russian and a few others, but overall, they plain clean up. Especially in situations where they're outnumbered.

You wretched chinese cannot even dominate the economy of your own country Singapore, Taiwan or China. What makes you think you contribute anything to Malaysia ?

Since many Chinese are too dumb to figure it out, let me spell it out for you: Malaysian economy is generated by state owned corporations ; and to a lesser degree by foreign multinationals. The same goes for Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan etc etc etc

The economy of all nations are generated by their respective governments.

Don’t even bother telling me the richest Malaysians are Chinese. Malay billionaires like Syed Mokhtar, Daim Zainuddin and SM Nasimuddin are not listed by Forbes simply because their assets are privately held.

It goes to show that those low profile Malay tycoons are so awash in cash that they did not need to raise more money from the stock market but the most important point is : the wealth of all rich Malaysians are still nothing compared to state controlled assets. Don’t ever forget that.

I don’t know if all Malays really hate the Chinese but I can tell you this much: You miserable Chinese are only burdensome trash . Your existence in Malaysia only serve to add the number of people the govt has to subsidise. If it isn’t for the Chinese, Malaysia would already be a first world economy.

Supercruise is amazingly useful. Most planes travel at .85 to .91. If you can sit around at 1.10 without burners, you have a huge range advantage, and intercepting becomes much simpler. More sky can be covered with less planes, freeing up other assets to perform strikes. With the new JDAM capability, the F-22 will become the F/A-22, and that's a really scary thought. High Speed, low observable, supercruising penetration precision bombers.

    Supercruise is incredibly useful.

They don't get a choice in it, if it's say, been declassified by the US military.

And yeah, that 2005 engagement with the Indian airforce was a clusterfuck. The US assumed that their planes and pilots were superior and failed to compensate for the numerical superiority that the Indians were assigned. The Indians took one look at the situation and just dogpiled the Americans with tactics that the USAF quite frankly should have seen coming. If I recall correctly, the rest of the exercise involved mixing Indian and US pilots so they could learn from each other.

The current bay is very shallow, they have to move a lot of stuff around to fit in significant systems. A new munition however could fit in the bay.

If you put external stores on, then the F-22 already has the capability, but loses the Low Observable and most supercruise abilities (it still has some.) There are better, less expensive aircraft to use as a bomb truck though.

For the record -during a no of joint air exercise with allies -RMAF Migs have performed well against F16/FA18s.

    Case in point:

    STARFISH and MAJOR ADEX exercise:
RMAF Migs have gained a no of VFR 'killed'against RAAF FA18 and RSAF F16C/D.

RTAF F16 OCU - also have been killed by the NO 17/19 sqn pilots during the AIRTHAMAL exercise.

On average Migs scored a stunning 4:1 kill ratio against similar a/c in VFR engagements (using guns,IR missiles and HMD)-and slightly lower 2:1 kill ratio against similar a/c in BVR sorties (using AA10/AA12).

But of course Malaysian Migs - also suffered a kill or two against a highly experienced F16s pilots from USAF...etc.The most killed was achieved by the USAF F16C ALASKA ANG-during a joint exercise in Kuantan. They need the exposure since they would be the first sqn to face the Migs if war to broke out between US/Russia.Overall RMAF MIgs driver could deliver if the need ever arise.

I recall a story about the first batch of F-22s the French received had a mishap in midair and the pilot was forced to land with the cock pit exposed and literally the entire wind torn off. The plane was flyable even after the canopy and wing were destroyed because the body of the plane allowed for enough lift to control the plane to a safe landing.

    Churinga 96 Exercise :

The MiG-29 Fulcrum is at this time regionally deployed by Malaysia and India. The aircraft, which was designed to challenge the F-15A in Warpac airspace, has acquitted itself well in recent Malaysian IADS exercises with the RAAF. Numerous reports indicate that the 77 SQN deployment to the Churinga 96 Exercise led to the "scoring" defeat of the RAAF contigent by the RMAF MiG-29/Archer force. While the MiG-29 has combat radius performance inferior to the F/A-18, it has superlative agility and is an excellent dogfighter by any standard

    Fly Fish exercises 2003

First event - Close air combat
Our pilots manage to shutdown 20 - 0 Harrier until the RAF pilots do not want to continue this CaC exercise.

    Second event - BVR engagements
Since Harrier was equip with powerfully Blue Eyes Radar and AMRAAN and our MiG29N has equip with Topaz and Alamo it was NOT a fair fight. Our MiG has lost in BVR engagements.
ps: They really take it hard those brits

    Conclusions
It was not a fair fight since our Radar can't match Blue Eyes Radar. The step has been taken to improving the BVR capability by upgrading this aircraft to SMT standard with have more powerfully Zhuk - M Radar, Hotas and upgrading Data Bus and new engine. As for BVR missile R77 - Adder, Malaysia won't introduce this missile into this region. On others case our pilots has manage to shutdown numbers of F16. This meaning our MiG29N still relevant and could match F16 Block 52

If you look back to history of military exercise, RMAF MiG-29N has mostly defeat the F-18 and F-16. Yeah, I remember this exercise. The Malaysians had Awacs, the Australians did not (acting as aggressors). The Australian F-18As were simulating Chinese fighters, and were therfor had there radar performance degraded, and their missile lock functions reduced by 30 percent across the board. The Malaysians had 8 aircraft aloft, to the Australian four. And the Malaysians wiped out the australians, with six 'losses' on their own side. So the kill tally, kill ration, and all the other important things mean that despite a ridiculous advantage, the Malaysians lost strategically.

Bullshit lies. Firstly, why would the Malaysians flying MiG-29 (Eastern bloc fighters) and the Australian flying Hornet (Western fighter) be the one simulating Chinese aircraft? Makes no sense. Secondly, Malaysia does not have AWACS.

You're probably talking about Singaporean aircraft, they have AWACS (E-2C) and they are proven terrible pilots (their F-16 lose to Indian AF Su-30MKI numerous times) and poor showing in other international exercises like Red Flag and Pitch Black,

Singaporkians (like Australians) are pigs in and out of the cockpit, even with their F-15 is no match for RMAF MiG-29.

Depends. I have a game up and running, with three missions done by my players. mine's got more of an ace combat feel to it, mostly because my players (I have three now, I started with two) started in an F-14 and an F-16, so I had to drop a lot of restrictions on weaponry and such so they could complete missions (the third player is also in an F-16, so I'm still kind of ignoring a lot of real-world restrictions in favor of having fun)

But my campaign is also soley based around the flight part of the game, there's no ground module, so to speak, plus all my rules are being tweaked and changed, as my players discover broken combos and I unbreak them.

I was a fair fight since our Radar can’t match Blue Eyes Radar. The step has been taken to improving the BVR capability by upgrading this aircraft to SMT standard with have more powerfully Zhuk - M Radar, Hotas and upgrading Data Bus and new engine. As for BVR missile R77 – Adder, Malaysia won’t introduce this missile into this region. On others case our pilots has manage to shutdown numbers of F16. This meaning our MiG29N still relevant and could match F16 Block 52

If you want to get to America, you either get them through the Arctic or you go through Latin America.

Going through the Pacific or Atlantic ocean is an act of suicide because of the US's Naval superiority. However if you can get a mainland access though the north or south you can get straight to the heartland of America.

This is what Canada and Mexico have to fear and this is why we will always be on friendly terms.

Because I find it hard to believe they can be better than the Aussies who have actually taken part in combat operations over Iraq, or any other country that uses Western aircraft for that matter.

Also, what's the opinion on Taiwan's Ching Kuo?
    >> sukhoi !KJHro3/ISM 06/22/10(Tue)14:29 No.10668410
Let me put it this way, the Avro Arrow was so advanced, the CIA's super secret U2 project was worried about it to the point of advising the USAF not to buy any.

Pretty much a failure, as far as the Taiwanese were concerned. The AIDC was pretty much built as a platform for indigeniously developed Skysword missile (Taiwan didn't have access to the AMRAAM then) and because fighter aircraft were pretty hard (and still are) for the Taiwanese to obtain, since the PRC would apply pressure on any supplier. The French, who have a poor reputation for selling their customers out, more or less left the Taiwanese Mirage 2000s hanging on limb.

So Taiwan basically got the F-20 design, dusted it off, and tried to put it into mass production as a cheap reliable light fighter. Tried, because it just wasn't very good- engine was underpowered and avionics weren't great.

The fact that they have more or less given up on the type, procuring less than 200, was also because the US okayed the sale of additional F-16s and the AIM-120 to Taiwan, making the Ching Kuo redundant.

It is pretty similar to the story of the Lavi, except it actually got built.

Also forgot to mention, the Arrow's performance was amazing, and that was without the Iroquois engine, which would have pushed the Arrow even further.

I'd like to think that had the US bought the Arrow, it would have been upgraded constantly (the plans for the Mk III and what not were on paper at the time of the cancellation)

I'll start with the story of the Malaysian Skyhawk, apt given the OP, and also because it took place at the beginning of the administration of Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohammed in 1981, since this was when the RMAF's troubles really started. You might remember Dr. Mohammed as the guy who started ranting and raving about how 6million Jews ruled the world by proxy at the OIC conference back in 2003.

At the time (1980) Malaysia had just agreed to buy about 88 ex-USN A-4C airframes, which Grumman was going to be refurbish. The order got cut down to 40 due to inflation (lol) and the sale went on. They were duly delivered in 1986-1987.

By 1994, the type had been completely phased out after less than 9 years of service. Reason? Lack of spares, and lousy maintainence by the locals, plus the RMAF had decided to go shopping once again and was expected to take delievery of a new type of aircraft (I'll explain later) and the A-4 had been made redundant. If anyone knows anyone who was at RAAF Butterworth during that period, you can ask them- the Aussies were among the first the Malaysians turned to to help solve the problems.

This extremely short service life contrasts with the A-4 Skyhawks in neighbouring Singapore, which the Singaporeans upgraded with the J-79 engine (this caused them some problems at first but they managed to fix it) and kept flying from 1973 to 2005 before being retired. And of course, there was the RNZAF which in quite a remarkable feat kept their Kahus operational from 1970 to 2001. Basically, every air force that could- the Israelis, the Argentines, etc- kept the A-4 flying for as long as possible, it was that good an aircraft. But Malaysia ditched it after less than a decade.

That's a RMAF A4PTM rusting away there. They were basically towed out and left to rot by the airfields. Some are still there today.

Some time in the mid-1980s the Malaysians had inked a deal with the UK for the sale of Hawk and Tornados. The idea was that the Tornado would replace the Skyhawk in the strike role and the Hawk in the trainer role. Note that they bought two types to replace one, which will be a common feature of Malaysian aircraft procurement in the coming years.

While the Hawks were eventually delivered, the deal for the Tornado fell through. The deal dragged on until the 90s (another common Malaysian trait, they'd announce they would purchase something and not have the money to pay for some years, by which time they would either lose interest or the system in question would be obsolescent.) This also had a lot to do with politics, particularly Mahathir's politics. I'll explain.

Malaysia had always been a staunch opponent of communism (having had an insurgency of their own) and was rabidly anti-Chinese, Soviet and Vietnamese. This placed them firmly in the Western camp for most of the Cold War. However, the 90s rolled along and the threat disappeared overnight.

Mahathir has always been an outspoken defender of Malay-Muslim rights, and wanted to establish Malaysia as a leading nation in the Islamic world. This meant that they couldn't be too chummy with the West.
    >> Anonymous 06/22/10(Tue)15:13 No.10669101
    >>10669062

Furthermore, Malaysia has traditionally never had a strong external conventional threat after the Confrontation with Indonesia, so they have never apportioned a large amount to defence. In 2000 their budget was about 2% of GDP, about US$2.7 billion. Singapore during the same time period spend about $4.2b and Australia about $12.6b. Also, since the primary mission of the Malaysian Armed Forces was counter insurgency, most of the money went to the army. So they've always been hard on cash to some extent.

The way around this was barter trade. Malaysia is a primary producer of lots of useful agricultural produce like palm oil, and what better way to kill two birds with one stone but to pay using that? Good for the domestic economy, and you get expensive aircraft on the cheap.

Problem is, as you may have guessed, Western countries don't really go for that. Remember how in 2006 Thailand tried offering Sweden chickens in exchange for Gripens (this came around the time of the bird flu, lol).

But there was one type of people who would accept barter payment.

So, in 1994, the Malaysians went and bought 17 MiG-29s from newly democratic and totally not communist Russia.

The MiG-29N/NUB entered service with the RMAF in 1995.

I suppose by now you can guess how long the type lasted with the RMAF before being retired.

14 years. They were retired last year.

There was several reasons for this. As I'm sure everyone knows, while much more rugged than their Western counterparts and capable of taking punishment such as taking off from unprepared airfields etc, Russian aircraft are much more expansive to upkeep in the long run. WARPACT strategy did not anticipate most aircraft would be in service for long periods. While you'd average something like 20,000 hours from a Western jet engine before it needed replacement, the equivalent Russian one would go to shit after about 7,000.

Also, the Russians are really terrible at customer support compared to Western manufacturers. Mikoyan basically dumped the Fulcrums on Malaysia and laughed their way to the bank (or palm oil refinery, as the case was.)

And lastly, the scheming Russians basically screwed over the Malaysians. They had been promised new build aircraft.

What they got were old MiG-29As given a brand new coat of paint, a little servicing and a new designation before being inflicted on the unsuspecting Malaysians.

    Whoops.

They eventually got the Gripens, just not by trading chickens lol.

    >>10669350

The understandably infuriated Malaysians by this point decided to opt for a Western design for their next aircraft. The Hawk was proving inadequate to meet their requirements in the strike role (in addition to having an extremely high attrition rate, I'll explain later) and through the mid-90s there was the real fear that the Chinese would make a grab on Malaysian claims in the South China Sea like the Spratley Islands. So they needed a maritime strike fighter with enough range and capable of carrying the AGM-84 Harpoon in the anti-shipping role.

Malaysia decided to go with the F/A-18D, despite Mahathir's dislike of the West. Boeing had made the deal even sweeter by offering to set up their Asia-Pacific centre of operations in Malaysia, which would have gotten rid of the perennial problem of maintainence.

So the RMAF acquired 8 Hornets in 1997. This was one of their smarter buys, and they were feeling pretty chuffed with themselves, so they announced they were going to buy more- up to at least two or three squadrons worth.

    Unfortunately, several things happened.

The first was the big Asian economic crisis of 1997, which pretty much gutted every Southeast Asian country except for Singapore. Malaysia was hit especially hard by it, and Mahathir raged long and hard at the Jewish financier George Soros whom he blamed for setting off the crisis. This would put on hold any plans for new aircraft for the next decade at least.

The second, beginning in 1998, was a renewed period of bilateral tension with Singapore, largely set off by Mahathir's big mouth. Basically, in order to distract the population from economic or domestic problems, a common Malaysian political tactic is to bash Singapore, (much like how Japan is bashed in China and South Korea) a traditional rival filled to the brim with the hated Zionist Chinese. Mahathir, among other things, blamed Singapore for not doing enough to help its neighbours during the difficulty, along with other accusations of Jewry. Eventually the word "war" started being thrown about by Malaysian politicians, and Mahathir had a nasty surprise.

I'll let him explain in his own words, from this video interview he gave a few years ago.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSjgOcFdI9Y

    >...(the) MIGs are given, are sold to us without any condition, if you feel like bombing Singapore, for example, the Russians are not going to object.

    >But this great aircraft called F-18, which we bought from America, after buying it, after several months, I got to know that this aircraft cannot be used for any attacks against any country, even if this is not Singapore.

And ff course, the Great Satan would not let its Zionist puppet state Singapork fall to the dirty Malaysians. Cue rage.

The fact that most of the armament for US made fighters in the region was being held in the hands of the USAF on Guam, and would only be released to the combatants in wartime- and if the US didn't approve of the war, tough shit. The Malaysians were fairly certain of the fact that the US would back Singapore- and they were bitterly resentful of the fact that most of Singapore's F-16s were at the time being held in the US for training, and the were regularly practicing, with USAF assistance, scenarios where they would fly back to Singapore in case of an attack on the country, refuelling by tanker along the way.

Malaysians were also pissed about the fact that Singapore had agreement with Thailand that they would use airbases there- meaning, in war with Malaysia, US-based Singapore aircraft would fly across the Pacific, load up with US ordnance, than stage out of Thailand for bombing missions over Malaysia. At least this is what Malaysian planners assumed. Their politicians certainly ranted and raved to the press about 'encirclement' and Singaporean zionist aggression for quite a while.

By this stage the unrelenting and unintentional trolling by Russians, Americans and Jews had given the Malaysians a rage face approximating Kimmo Alm who has just been denied his share of CP.

An additional pain in the ass soon appeared for the Malaysians. Namely, it was the fact that the RMAF was turning into a flying zoo. Their inventory at the turn of the century looked like this:

    - 16 MiG-29N/NUBs (they would eventually end up crashing 2)

    - 8 F/A-18Ds (they would crash one in 2003)

    - about two dozen Hawk 108/208s (they would lose 11 out of 28 during service)

    - 16 F-5E/F (since 1979, they have lost about 9 of the type)

    http://www.ejection-history.org.uk/Country-By-Country/Malaysia.htm

These are just the fast jet losses. Rotary wing losses are even infamously higher. Type "Nuri helicopter" into google for more information. Suffice to say 89 people have died in RMAF helicopter incidents over the last 40 or so years.

The problem with operating so many different types (they had the MiGs, F-18s, Hawks and F-5s) from so many different suppliers (the US, Russia and the UK), coupled with poor maintainence, the lack of a competent aviation sector, and endemic corruption (everything from spare parts to servicing would invariably cost more due to 'middle-men') was wrecking havoc in the RMAF.

The losses are absurdly high especially coming from such a small air force, and furthermore when you compare them with the other regional air forces which they claim to be superior to. I'll use Australia and Singapore here since they've been mentioned the most.

The RAAF has operated the F/A-18A/Bs since 1984. 25 years. So far, out of the initial purchase of 75, they have lost 4. The RAAF has seen combat over Iraq with the Hornet for no losses.

The RSAF has operated the F-16 (A/Bs and C/Ds) since 1988. 22 years. So far, out of 70 purchased, they have lost two.

lol, feel free. Not all is accurate though- my interest in the region is merely observational, and I will admit to a personal bias against Malaysia, for reasons that should be obvious. Expect many furious denials/rebuttals if you use it.

By 2003 Malaysia was beginning its economic recovery, Mahathir was out of office, and the RMAF decided to ask for a new aircraft to replace the problematic MiGs. The favorite among the air force itself was for more Hornets, this time the F-18E/F, because this was the type Malaysian pilots had encountered most often in their exercises with the USN and RAAF and because Malaysia's geography and operational requirements necessitated a two engined aircraft. Unfortunately, the government, while no longer under Mahathir, was still very much a vestige of the old order and still riddled with cronyism and anti-Western feeling, especially after the Iraq War, in addition to being extremely unstable and short of cash for defence. So they went with the cheaper and more politically popular option, the Su-30MKM. This was also partially caused by fear mongering over the capabilities of the Flanker as it crept into Southeast Asian inventories, first in China and India, then Vietnam and Indonesia. Australia at this time was actively badgering the US for F-22s, having signed on already for the JSF programme, and Singapore was evaluating the Typhoon, Rafale and F-15, in addition to also being an observer in the JSF programme. Malaysians were shitting their pants at being lft behind in the regional arms race.

Also, the Russians once again bribed Malaysian politicos by appealing to their penchant for grandstanding and chest puffing. Basically, the deal was that in exchange for Malaysia buying the Su-30, they would send a Malaysian astronaut to the ISS (ended up being the guy on the left.)

How could you turn down such an offer? The Flanker it was.

Arctic sovereignty mission however does prioritze rugged, long-range fighters over fancy new ones. Canada is a NATO member and many NATO nations - Denmark, for example - have interests in the Arctic region, so a Canadian fighter does not necessarily need to be the absolute best in terms of capability. What's really needed is a reliable all-weather fighter that's capable of "showing the flag" and backing up claims.

Somehow I just can't see the pricey and expensive JSF as a Canadian buy. Canada's probably better off spending on a fighter like the Super Hornet or the Gripen - not flashy fighters, and hardly top-class, but rugged, relatively easy to maintain logistics wise, and can get up and stay up in the air for a good amount of time.

Although to be fair, no idea on how much the JSF might be relative to other fighters. I suppose a better word might be "higher maintenance" - the JSF does not seem to have a very long operational range, and given the size of the Arctic...

And so, this concludes the story of the RMAF up to present day. Malaysia now has 18 Su-30MKMs, making them, for now, King Shit of the region since they will proudly tell you that the F-18E/F of Ausfalia and F-15SG of Singapork is not match for it. Nor is the skill of the RMAF pilot to be doubted, because they are fearsome indeed.

So, when it comes to hardware and the alleged ability of its pilots, Malaysia does indeed possess an unrivaled superiority over regional competitors.

As for the system itself, whether or not the RMAF, at its very essentials, is fundamentally broken, I'll leave it up to the reader to decide. With helicopters falling from the sky and jet engines going missing, though, I suggest coming to the conclusion quickly!

Israel has a firm footing in Singapore. It has official representation, financial institutions and also trains the Singaporean army. It supplies armaments and does repairs for Singapore's military altogether. The Israeli intelligence is active in Singapore, spying on Malaysia and Indonesia as well as Brunei, the countries Israel has targeted for years to build diplomatic and economic relationships with.

Apart from they being proud of helping the Israel to occupy even more lands, Singapore is also aiming to ensure all its citizen have strong sympathy towards Israel by having the said induction and share the visions of Zionism.

Let us make a brief comparison of Singapore and Israel, based on the historical evidences:

The immigrant Zionist Jews from Europe, at the encouragement of the British, came to Palestine in droves in the 1900s at the expense of the indigenous people. The immigrant Chinese from China's southern provinces, at the encouragement of the British, came to Temasik in droves in the 1800s at the expense of the indigenous people.

After the formation of Israel in 1948, the Zionists began to displace their indigenous Arab population historically, socially and culturally. After the expulsion of Singapore from Malaysia in 1965, the Sino-dominated government began to displace their indigenous Malay population historically, socially and culturally.

Israel, with the backing of the US, spend its money more on its military than anything else. Singapore, with the backing of the US, spend its money more on its military than anything else.

Israel sees its (majority) Muslim-Arab neighbors as "hostile". So does Singapore, which sees its (majority) Muslim-Malay neighbors as "hostile".

With the above indisputable outline, how can we not conclude that Singapore is indeed "the 'Israel' of South East Asia"?

Lee Kuan Yew made Singaporeans paranoid into being the ’seige mentality’ and thus justify their arms build up and tight control of the city state. Singapore being Israel’s closest ally here in this region of 300 Million conservative but peaceful Muslim Malay archipleago. Upon the expulsion, Lee invited the Israelis instead of India and Egypt which volunteered assistance, to establish and develop what is today the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). The military co-operation between the two nation developed further and they began to co-manufacture and supply arms. Then was so insensitive to its highly tolerant neighbours, he invited former Zionist war monger Israeli President Chaim Herzog to have a formal state visit in 1987.

Now, after the American withdrawal from Subic Bay naval base and Clarks Air Base in The Phillipines, the end of the Cold War and the success of making ASEAN a super power free region, Singapore has offered the American’s their facilities for the full scale military base in the region having to use a midway technical base requirement between East Asia and West Asia. Singapore is also an advocate of Western and Neo Con Jewish agenda in the region such as the pressure to ‘democratize’ Myanmar. Singapore regards their ‘hinterland’ is 6,000 km radius from the island city-state. That include Kuala Lumpur-Beijing-Tokyo is within the realm on Singapore ’sovereign’.

SAF recently acquired Leopard III MBTs, AH64D Apache Lowngbow attack helicopters, F15ST Eagle air superiority fighters (on top of existing four sqdns of F16s) and multirole ships.

THIS IS NOT A DEFENSE FORCE! THIS IS A MILITARY FORCE IN AN AGGRESSION MODE!
