    Equality, a non-combat drone with leadership and survival programming is currently inside a Repair tube. Optimization is occuring, and a command module has been added.

    There is something of note. It is the frigates built-in refinery. It can be used for harvesting asteroids and turning them into useful resources. Two deck above it is the hydroponics garden. When used in conjunction, they produce the resources to build drones. When the refinery is used alone, along with a SIN factory, robots may be built. When the Ponics garden and a LIN factory (Living intelligence network) are used together, clones can be built. Currently, SIN and CIN are at war. SIN is at war with LIN, and LIN and CIN are trading partners.

    Oops. Apologies. Yes there are on-board defenses. Most are confined to the cargo bays, and the Airlocks. Few major access points have them. They go off body-heat, so anything organic would get killed. You reactivated, and reprogrammed them to let anything you designate through. Unfortunately they possess no camera's and are Antiquated. They were due to be replaced at the frigates next stop.

    Now for the legs.
    Quadruped legs are a tried and tested means of locomotion that are predominately stable and able to traverse most terrain, but the design is prone to damage to the joints. The joints are easily repairable, however. Bipedal legs are a prototypical variant that so far appears to have some balancing issues, but allow for augments where quadruped legs would have taken up space. Unfortunately, due to lack of mass adoption, there are less facilities available to repair broken bipedal legs. Hovering is an extremely experimental form of locomotion so far proven to be completely unreliable. It is strongly advised that this form of locomotion is not chosen. Caterpillar tracks are less experimental, but may lead to strain upon an body that has not been sufficiently augmented. They would also make dexterous movement nearly impossible.

    Now pick one internal augmentation
    Internal augmentations include the following:
    Chemical control. While all drones are fitted with devices to regulate and reduce distracting organic drives and desires, chemical control will allow the drone to both act without emotion or induce one if it wishes. This can also work on another drone if the drone is in contact with it.
    Metabolic alteration. By effectively using a secondary power source other than intake of foreign digestible material, the drone will not need to eat for months. This does not remove the sensation of hunger, but the flesh is weak and can be ignored.
    Regenerative nanomachines. These allow the drone to heal incredibly quickly and is capable of limited repair to external augmentations. The drone will have to consume extra substances in addition to that required for survival to manufacture these nanomachines internally, however.
    Emergency measures. In the event of the drone nearing death, this augmentation can be wired together to deliver either a burst of energy that can be used either to destroy nearby threats or a surge of energy to keep the drone alive just a little longer to drag itself to a place to heal or repair itself. Not proven to be reliable.
    Reconstructive nanomachines. These nanites can be used in the construction of goods, supplemented with the right materials.

    Yes they can.

    External augmentations include the following:
    Mounted weapon slot. Directly patched into the nervous system of the drone, this slot on the drone can accommodate a variety of weapons. The actual weapon to be used can be selected later. Two options: dorsal and ventral. Or, if the lexicon files you possess do not include these words, back and front.
    Fine manipulators. Attached to the drone, these foldaway arms come with hands that are more than practical for anything requiring manual dexterity. These can also be installed ventrally or dorsally.
    Accelerator jets. These allow the drone to move and act incredibly fast. There may be slight side effects associated with high speed, though, such as a reduced ability to stop.
    Epidermal camouflage. These highly specific nanomachines allow the drone to blend into its surroundings, including its augmentations. The charge is limited, however, and can be detected by very keen-eyed foes.
    Tractor Beam Graspers. These advanced graspers are currently in prototype stage, and are advised against selection.
    Vacuum Suit. Protects the drone equipped from the harmful effects of vacuum. Grants a day of extra life-support.

    Have 002 and 003 move to its opposite flanks. 003 attempts to use its system cracker on it as she goes up close to attack it in melee, 002 fires on it and provides fire support to 003, we use out superior mobility to provide a distraction. Launch all non-combat drones to provide further distractions to the enemy.

    Your Prototype hover allows you to spring off to the side as the robot pumps round after round at you, While 003 sneaks in with the codecracker, giving you a much needed break from his firing. 002 fires upon it all the while, scoring it black around the edges of a couple of armored plates while continuing to move. After the robot regains its control back, 003 is shoved aside and the Robot completely ignores your sensor drones to keep firing upon Equality. He switches targets to 002 and 003 anytime they get to close, forcing both of them to back off. Since 002's weaponry is almost ineffective, he is forced to aim that much more, and 003 can do almost nothing as she has no long range weapons to speak of, nor the programming to do so.

    Have the remote combat drone attempt to attack the enemy from an angle where it can't see it. The shield drone sticks with us.

    Meanwhile, have 003 attempt another system crack and THEN have her rush up behind the monster to attack it from behind.

    By the way, what's its means of mobility? Bipedal, quadrupedal, etc?

    The Blasted thing is Quadraped.

    The remote drone slips around and starts blasting away, making the Robot turn and fire upon it. 003 takes this as her chance and slips in with the cracker, and manages to force it to pause long enough to slip the knife into its back. The Robot turns, throwing 003 off of him, only to get blasted in the gouge by the Combat drone, which forces him onto the ground. Everyone takes their chance to fire upon him, and attempts to destroy him.

    The continued fire pouring into it is enough to make it crack and explode, sending white hot shrapnel spinning in every direction. One of the many wires coursing around gets cut, and the ship rocks a little from one of the systems getting overloaded and short-circuited. The Robot is dead.

    This is as good a stopping point as any...

    I want to know of the damage on it matches the weapon on this thing.

    Then check out the enemy wreck, salvage any memory units/things that can give us a clue as to its identity.The rest, we use for the scrap we need to make repairs.
