You grapple with the large squid. The first one seeks to grab and begin eating you, but your tough shell prevents that from working. In response, you reach into its mouth with your closed pincer and open it inside its beak. The thing rips nearly in half as your massive pincer shreds it apart. The other squid is behind you, grappling with your shell. However, your spined carapace inflicts some damage upon it, and two of its tentacles are now impaled.

You scuttle furiously to embolden your troops and demoralize the squid!

Your soldiers fire once more before retreating to the back, killing seven squid! Your regulars move up, and a squad of lobsers takes the brunt of the charge. Claws grapple with oversized tentacles as the forces clash. Immediately, two lobsters are killed, overpowered and outnumbered. However, you scuttle the Dance of Dominance to empower them! On the right flank of the action, your fiddler and dungeness crabs are pressing up. In the middle and on the left, your troops hold their ground. The untrained and panicking squid fall like wheat to a scythe when your troops' training kicks in.

First things first. Can we use wavemaker's powers here? I know he wasn't going to bless us when we marched out to dominate the squid, but are his boons still avaliable? If so, cast growth around the tower and tell everyone to start setting up camp here. Before we advance any further into squid territory, we must have a firm foothold and center of command.

Meanwhile, one of your strike forces is overwhelmed, though your mantises fight ravely, punching holes in squid left and right, swarming and rending!

Your troops rally once more and charge! A few are killed, and one shark pistoleer is dragged down and devoured! However, your troops penetrate deeper in the enemy forces, and have nearly regrouped with you!

Twist all the tentacles grappling you into Gutripper's grasp, clamp down and sever their connection.

They are, look under "crabs" or "collective game" I believe.

Your ranged troops pick off stray squid as the whales move in for close combat. Your sharks have swept around and are assaulting the rear of the massive squid forces, while you grapple with the squid. You manage to grab two by their spear-tentacles and twist with all your might, ripping them out with a spray of gore. You relish the combat, and Bloodhsell's laughter is hear across the battlefield. The seas grow darker, more foreboding, as you swing Gutripper in a deadly arc over your head, cleaving a squid in two!

Your forces slog through the horde, regrouping with you. Swarms of crabs and shrimp cover the remaining four colossal squid, happy to aid their glorious king!

You turn to see your three strike teams headed East to the frontline. Five mantises are killed in the process, but do not go down easily. One is even seen bursting from the stomach of a squid before succumbing to his wounds!

SEVER THE TENTACLES. THEY SEEK TO BIND A GOD.

LET OUT A DEAFENING CRY TO INSPIRE OUR FORCES. USE OUR CANNONS TO AID THEM IN THEIR CHARGE, WHILE WE USE OUR CLAW TO REAP TERROR INTO THOSE THAT SEEK TO DESTROY US.

Show these squid why we're KING. Tear through their ranks once more, and let our troops gain the advantage though the openings we make.

You charge forth, using your spined carapace to lead the way and tearing apart squid left and right. Your army follows close behind as you regroup with the strike teams. The ever-eager Crackler, a young veteran mantis-shrimp, beams at this opportunity to fight alongside you.

The two of you lead the charge, him gripping your spines as you charge forward into the fray. In a moment, he leaps down and clamps onto the eye of a squid, ripping it out and punching a hole in the squealing beast's head. Likewise, you blow four nearby creatures away with your cannons, grappling another and bisecting it. Crackler runs forth and intercepts a blow meant for you, rebounding with fury and tearing limbs from soft bodies. All around you, your soldiers inflict massive casualties while losing relatively few of your own. Unfortunately, most of the protocrabs lay slain on the sand, now red with blood.

The squids' attention is all on your forces now!

You turn and rend some more squid, taking a flurry of blows from the sheer volume of attackers. You lose sight of Crackler at one point, but you're sure he can handle himself. Your reinforcements regroup with you, and your still thousands-strong army is with you in the center of a ring of squid. In the distance, Whitenose has become bogged down alongside his brothers!
