and Inquisitor shows exactly why you don't use SMs in low-scale environments. In Inquisitor an unarmed and unarmoured marine could take multiple opponents at once easily. With gear it was so one-sided that it wasn't even funny.

There are, but they have to be converted from Dark Heresy to Rogue Trader, which puts a starting one at around the 5,000 exp level. But it's bound to end badly, depending on the Rogue Trader, and how he or she does things. Either with the Sororitas killing the Rogue Trader, or the Rogue Trader and crew killing her. Although with more rule abiding ships she can stand the role of the crew's Missionary, or spiritual adviser.

Yea, but the problems come when the tests roll about.

Shooting someone 100m away? You have 80 BS and aim, that's basically an auto hit.

Trying to break down a door? You have 80 +20 unnatural strength, that door is paste.

Trying to remember some Lore? You have 80 Int and the skill is at +20.

The problem comes when tests start becoming to easy everyone is guaranteed to pass them.

Maybe it's just me then, but I find it frustrating. Mostly because my players are stuck in this low-level mindset of just going out to kill stuff. The most out-there thing they did throughout the entire campaign was acquire a defoliant bomb to drop on some orks :( It didn't help matters that I got roped into GMing halfway through a campaign, with the expectation that I would continue with their characters. Frustrating experience was frustrating.

This is going off memory, but IIRC Rank 5 Sororitas can career path into Oblatia. My GM never wanted us to start that high/play to that high during DH days, but with RT starting at 5 you could ostensibly be an Oblatia in RT which can help you get around a LOT of the initial problems Sororitas characters had in DH/IH. Note, I haven't read Radical's Handbook (downloading now, thanks anon!) so things in there may alter this. But not all Oblatia's are Oblationists, just as all Metallican Gun carriers aren't Metallican Gunslingers.
