With the majority of the Seventh Universe united under the banner of the PTO, Emperor Cooler at its head, the universe has known a time of unrivaled peace. But in the shadows threats have been growing, nursing grudges against the PTO and the Saiyan race in particular. And now those threats are rising, stepping out of the shadows to openly challenge the established order. Seeking nothing short of the destruction of New Salda and the extinction of the entire Saiyan race, can you prevent this outcome? Or will the Saiyan race be reduced to nothing more than memories, their heroes nothing more than ink in the pages of the history books?

You the players will (most often) control Karn; wielder of the mighty Berserker Soul and hope of the entire PTO, not only the Saiyan race. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, only a few years into his time as a member of the PTO, he has grown in power and skill, overcoming the world-ending threats that have come for the Saiyans to become the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 758. From the massive Covenant empire to demonic incursions, mad cultists to vengeful gods, none have been strong or clever enough to put down Karn for good. But will one man's power be enough to protect everyone from the rising threats? Or will death come from those who you least expect it from? Your choices may mean the difference between survival and extinction, so choose carefully.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After sparring Galatea and learning of her origin, finding a few of the remaining original sentient inhabitants of New Salda's forests and his children clearing out a Hydae army, Karn learned of Broly and Kori potentially having their first child in the near future before King Cold sent to him through King Vegeta information on the planet “Ee-arth”, the one with the powerful being who has become active once more. Telling his crew to adjust to the new day/night cycle at their own pace in a called ship-wide meeting before heading off bed early, Karn awoke to spar with the golden emperor once more before the first construction crew arrived. Having her take on his youngest four, adding building the city to their training while everyone's schedules were in flux for three weeks. And as we rejoin Karn, you've just finished your daily spar with Golden Cooler, now taking place at the end of your day instead of early in the morning.

“Heh. You've. Gotten better. Lord Cooler.” you say, you and Cooler both panting and struggling to catch your breath, staring each other down and waiting to see if the other will make a move. However, instead of continuing after your hours of sparring you instead power down, flopping to the ground. “Haaaaaaah! You've made. Good progress.”
“Hmph. Of course.” he replies, maintaining his Golden form despite his power plummeting by the second. “I. Must admit. You've made me. Stronger. I see how my brother. Obtained such power before.”
“Nothing like fighting to bring out the best in you.” you reply, having already recovered your breath as Cooler talked. “Same time tomorrow?”

“Hmph. Of course. I must get stronger still, to match my brother when he returns. I won't let him depose me near as easily as I him.” Cooler replies, raising his right hand to his forehead. And without another word disappears, your stomach growling almost immediately. It's been a busy day, been a busy couple of weeks, and you're hungry.

But where do you go to eat?
>Head out to sea and see what you can catch, cook it on the beach just like old times for your family as their day's work and training finishes as well
>Go see that new restaurant a couple of Silver's former disciples opened up as the city's finished today, see just how good they're doing on their own

Remembering the conversation you'd had with Silver this morning, know exactly where you're going to go eat. Taking to the air, you reach out telepathically to your wife and asking where she'd want to eat. Only to find out the younger four are already there as well. Roccoli, to congratulate the team had taken them all just a minute before you'd reached out to your wife. She agrees, saying she'll meet you there. Ending the mental link you focus on her ki with your ki sense, taking off back towards your new city as the sun sets behind you. Flying over the forest, you then come to your city, all lit up and glowing, feeling a small smile come to your face. As you fly over you remember watching the city come into being, watching your young children's progress as they helped construct this city from the ground up. And looking down on their work you feel a swell of pride, your family helped build this magnificent city.

“Hey, General Karn!” Goar, one of your students who moved in as soon as the barracks wen up calls, you flying down and landing by him, Sheeva, and a few other of your students Corget, Bocai and Pana. “Could feel the world shaking from here, how goes the training with Lord Cooler?”
“He's getting better. I take him too lightly, he'll surpass me in no time.” you reply, the two of you grasping each other's hands and jokingly have a contest of strength. Which you quickly begin to win, Goar calling for mercy. You let him go, the two of you sharing a laugh before he continues.
“So, you heading over to those brats' new place too?” he asks you, you raising a brow at him. “Oh, come on. Everyone knows how good Silver is, and for two of his top students to open a place? Of course we're all going to check it out.”

“I hadn't realized everyone was already in the know.” you reply, the six of you walking over towards the large restaurant near the large government admin building. Built like a fortress just as King Vegeta's castle is, but smaller and less imposing, the building is where the city officials should live. But you're not entirely convinced yet, preferring to stay in your ship with your crew instead of in that building. But just across the main street from it sits the new restaurant, glowing neon declaring it open for business. And a line of more than twenty people waiting outside, the line wrapping well around the front of the building. “Wow.”
“Karn! General Karn!” a voice calls, you seeing the employee, a young girl you recognize as one of your students' children is waving to you. “We already have your table ready, your family are inside waiting for you.”

“Appreciate it Vaate.” you say, walking up to her and telling Goar and the rest you'll see them inside. The line, you notice, is almost entirely made up of your students, the vast majority of the people who wanted to live in your city after the declaration was made public. “You're doing good work, keep it up.”

The young child beams at your compliment, you stepping inside to a surprisingly... Utilitarian interior. It reminds you of not only the mess hall in your ship, but the mess hall on your first post, Freeza Planet 79. Filled with simple rectangular metal tables that have built-in bench seats, it reminds you of those days on post. Compared to outside the air feels slightly cool, not quite enough to put a chill up your back but just cold enough to notice it. Servers fly about, none touching the ground and carefully delivering platters to other tables with patrons already sat down, you even seeing King Vegeta's family at one along with Nappa, Aisha and Kaliflor Clan-Clan. But then you spot your wife, sitting next to Towa with enough space between them for you to sit.

So you make your way over, sitting down between the two women and across from Maza, your half-demon son and his siblings. It is only then you recognize Milha is here as well, along with the blonde woman from Chilli's world. Darkness, she'd called herself. But they're not the only guests at the table, Broly and Kori are here as well, along with Chilli and his family, all of your children are here in the same place.

“GRANDPAA!” Meloka Wolbach shouts in excitement, your granddaughter clearly happy to see you. “I missed you!”
“Missed you too kiddo.” you tell her, the young girl beaming. But there's something else to her expression now as she smiles, something you don't quite recognize in her eyes. But she seems older, more mature than the last time you'd seen her. In fact, you hadn't seen Chilli's entire family since construction began, you wondering what all is new with him. And aa you look to your son, he seems different as well. Something in the way he carries himself is different, in his shoulders, the lack of tension in his body, he's clearly been through something. Perhaps whatever that was is why he hasn't reached out?

But on the other side Kori is excitedly talking to Caulifla as Broly and Caulifla's man Lottus, the two seemingly locked in telepathic communication as they stare at each other. Even your eldest daughter Chaya is here, talking with her future self and Ace about something you can't quite make out while your youngest four are at an adjacent table with the rest of the construction crew, laughing together at something one of them said.

“Everything alright hun?” Meloka asks, your wife looking up to you with an unreadable expression.
“Yeah. Never better.” you reply, taking her hand in yours. With all the happiness around you, you take it all in. You fought so long for this, and now all of your children are here.

“So, what do the three of you think?” you ask, directing your question to your three half-demon children sitting directly across from you. “What do you think of this city your half-siblings built?”
“They did a good job, Maza was showing us around before.” Milha says, Koruza nodding along. “Incredible that all this was built in just a few weeks.”
“And it's going to be a great place, once we have everything in order.” you add, then coming to your point meet Maza's gaze. “Speaking of order, I had something I wanted to ask you.”

“Me?” he replies, clearly not expecting this. “Of course, what is it father?”
“Running a city is quite a lot of work, there is quite a bit to stay on top of when it comes to keeping things organized and running smoothly. Too much for me to do and stay on top of training and everything else. I'm going to need people who're interested in governance to help make this city run. And, if you're interested, I could appoint you my second-in-command.”
“Wha...? R-Really?” he asks, your eldest half-demon son's eyes widening in surprise. “Do you mean it?”
“Of course. Will have to find out whatever the official terms are and whatnot, but if you really want to one day go on to be a king, you need to know how to rule.” you tell him seriously. “And where better to start than here, with your own family who've your back?”

“You'd really do that for me? Then of course I'll accept.” Maza says, reaching out to you seriously. You take his hand in yours, shaking once before a smell, something familiar yet unrecognized hits your nose. You aren't entirely sure what it is, but know you've smelled something similar before. Turning towards the smell you see the kitchen door opened and a familiar pale, red-eyed woman leading several servers laden down carrying what looks like an entire roasted tail. And that's when you recognize it, that's a Mindslayer tail! But how in the world did they get their hands on one?
“Coming through!” she calls out, leading them over not to your table, but to the one your younger children and Roccoli's construction crew are all seated at, setting the massive tail down across the long table. Once the food is set down they all return, save for Alice. “For all your hard work on making this restaurant, this entire city become a reality, so dig in!”

“Thank you Alice!” your children tell her, Silver's former student grinning as your children and their fellow builders dig in. You watch as they devour it, the smell of cooked Mindslayer causing your own stomach to growl louder. And, hearing this, Alice turns and sees you, raising her head and giving you a mischievous grin.“Well well. Look who showed up.” she says, walking over to you and placing her hands together up near her face before tilting her head and giving you a smile. “Thanks for coming, General Karn, this means a lot to us.”
“Of course. Can't wait to see what you all have to offer the city.” you reply, the woman bowing once to you.

“Thank you for your kind words. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get your meal ready.” she replies, you nodding to her before she heads back into the kitchen. Turning your focus from her back to your children at the other table a moment, the four of them enjoying their meal. Turning your focus back to Maza, he and his full siblings are already deep in talks, Maza talking about how to avoid what happened to his siblings from happening again, although Koruza is far more invested than his older sister, who keeps turning to whisper something with Darkness. The two laughing to themselves, it making you smile seeing your half-Saiyan daughter smiling and happy. Looks like it was for the best for her to have left your world, at least temporarily.

But as Maza and Koruza talk, you feel the overwhelming urge to speak with your youngest. Having not addressed what happened with him for the past couple of weeks, busy as you were. So you reach out telepathically, directly to Koruza.

“Hey, Koruza. We need to talk.” you think to him, your son turning from Maza to you. Recognizing this, Maza immediately turns his attention from him to his sister as he continues. “I... I'm sorry kiddo.”
“What?” he asks, sounding shocked as he actually replies aloud. Everyone stops talking a moment, looking from you to him in confusion. But then they all go back to their conversations, Koruza continuing after regaining his composure telepathically. “Father, what are you talking about?”

“It is my fault. I was careless, wasn't paying enough attention. And because of my being lax, you were attacked here on MY planet.” you tell him, your son's eyes widening in shock. “My people did something unforgivable, and I'm sorry I didn't step in to stop it.”
“Father, you don't have to be sorry. Their actions are not your fault.” your son replies, his eyes meeting your own. Reminding you that your youngest half-demon son can be wiser than his years imply. “The ones who attacked me acted of their own free will. They made their choices and suffered the consequences, none of this is your fault.”
“Maybe not, but I still feel responsible.” you reply, then add on. “What about you though? How are you holding up?”

“Better.” he replies, sighing out as you see the sudden weight seemingly appear on his shoulders. “I'm doing better. Was tough at first, but this... This city can be a new start. A chance to try again, with people who won't just attack me for being different.”
“Yes, it will be. If anyone tries anything like that here, in our city, they'll pay.” you say aloud, only realizing this as you feel several pairs of eyes on you. “This place, this city, everyone will be free to be themselves. No roving gangs attacking someone for being different. And if they try, they'll answer to me.”

“HEAR HEAR!” a familiar voice shouts, you turning to see Nappa holding up a small keg in his hand, raising it in a salute. “To General Karn, and to this new city!
“TO KARN!” everyone else shouts, dozens and dozens of fists and drinks raised in response. Seems that your people are behind you fully. Which fills you with confidence and the determination to make this true, for those who follow you you must deliver results.

But before you can say anything else, the kitchen door opens once more, bringing out another large Mindslayer tail, the juices sizzling in the bottom of the slightly bowled platter as the team carry it out to your table. This time the young redheaded man, Soma leads them out, an easy grin on his face.

“Glad you showed up, General. This one's on the house, for everything.” he says as the carriers place the tail across the long table, giving you a small bow. “Enjoy.”
“I will.” you reply, the man bowing slightly before heading back to the kitchen, leaving you with the meal. And without any more hesitation you and your family all dig in, cutting into it with energy blades around fingers or hands. Cutting open the tail, releasing the heat from within it in plumes of heat. And when you take the first bite, flavor explodes into your mouth. It'd been quite some time since you'd eaten one of these creatures, the meat just as succulent as ever. You dig in, and for the next several minutes no one at your table talks, consumed with consuming as much as they can stomach until there is little more than the tailbone itself left. Leaning back in your seat and sighing out in content you then decide to speak with-

-Broly and Kori, in light of recent good news from them. As you turn to your eldest, you see he and Kori talking to each other in low tones, unable to hear them. But as if he can sense you, your son then turns to you.

“Congratulations on the good news, you two.” you say, your son blushing a bit as he realizes you know as well. “So, any plans yet?”
“Plans? Well, when the day comes, we'd like to be here.” your son answers a bit hesitantly, Kori realizing what's going on and turning her attention to you as well. “Dr. White is the best, and if Cauli is available too would make us feel even better.”
“Of course I will be there.” Caulifla replies, reaching across the table and placing one large hand on Kori's much smaller one. “You're family, and we look after our own.”
“Thank you.” Kori says, and to your surprise starts tearing up. “Sorry, just all these emotions, my body doesn't quite know how to handle them yet.”

“Don't worry yourself, that's normal. Just let them out.” your wife tells the younger Tamaranean woman. “If you have any questions, feel free to call me anytime. We may not be the exact same race, but if ours are close enough for offspring, then it should be same enough. But are you thinking of carrying to term? Or will you be using one of the pods?”
“Uhh, well. We're still deciding on that.” Kori replies, seemingly a bit nervously. “We still have a lot of time before we get to that point, and plenty of time for that decision.”
“Of course, and don't worry. As someone who has done both, more than once, the easier option on your body is using the pod around six to seven months. But Dr. White can do either, whichever you prefer. Just let us know if you want to, and we can even have the devices brought over and installed on your own ship.”

“Really? They're that easy?” she asks, your wife and Kori talking about the pods. As they do, your son turns to you. Reaching out telepathically, not speaking the sudden worry you can feel from him.

“Dad, I'm... I'm afraid.” he tells you with a thought, you raising a brow. “I'm worried. More than I've ever been about anything. What if I'm not good enough? What if I can't protect my child, or even worse lose control? Sure it hasn't happened for years now, but I'm always a threat. How do I get over this, get over feeling this way?”

Well? How do you respond to your son?

“It's okay to be worried, natural even. But you have long since mastered that anger.” you tell him telepathically, watching Broly's reaction to your words. “Were this you from ten years ago, I may have had some small doubts as to your abilities, son. But I know you've got this, you can do it. I believe in you, Broly.”

At this your son looks stunned, shocked for a few seconds before his brows furrow, nodding once resolutely to you.

“As a father, as the man of your home, you have to step up and act like it. Your family will rely on you, so you'd better do everything in your power to protect and provide for them.” you continue, Broly's expression growing more resolute. But then you soften, continuing. “But if anything happens, you and your family will always be welcome here. No matter where you all are, my home is still your home. If you need anything, don't ever hesitate to reach out.”
“I will.” he replies, nodding with an expression more of relief than determination then aloud adds. “Thank you, Dad.”

“Of course son. Anytime.” you reply to him, the two of you sharing a moment of silence as the other conversations continue in the room. Only to hear Maza, speaking with Chilli.
“That's insane. You should be dead! No wonder you look like death warmed over!” Maza says jokingly, you turning from Broly to Maza, then see him looking to Chilli. Who, as you look at him, does look quite rough. Cheeks and eyes sunken in, his head looks much more skull-like than usual. But his smile is as alive as ever, laughing casually at his half-brother's exclamation. “But seriously though, how DID you survive that?”
“Honestly? I have no idea.” Chilli replies, you noticing him holding a small crystal in his hand, one that looks like a broken blade. “At first I thought it was because I was a Reaper, that I had been channeling Death Magic through me long enough that I'd built up some kind of resistance. But that's not how it works, even Lord Jergal himself is still vulnerable to Death. So I don't know. And now I don't think I ever will.”

“Now? What do you mean?” you ask, your son turning to you with an almost sad smile. But there's something else there too, relief? Maybe, or maybe something else. “Why not?”
“Because I've hung up being a Reaper, at least for now.” he tells you, silencing everyone. You all know of Chilli being a Reaper, he's been one for years. To say now that he's just NOT anymore is crazy. “I have more important things to do now than going out and hunting down gods and demons and all the other madness out there. My place is with my family, protecting them. Not risking my neck out across the universe fighting the battles others can.”

“Now that Chronoa's no longer a threat, at least as Supreme Kai of Time and we aren't constantly under threat from gods and monsters, it's time to hang up the scythe.” he continues. “Besides. I'd never forgive myself, going out and dying in some monster's lair and leaving my family without me. I love you all too much for that.”

Silence greets your son's words, your entire family seeming shocked at this. And, to your surprise, Darkness is the first one to speak up.

“But what if another immortal undead comes to your home? Leading another army hellbent on revenge?” she asks him, seriously. “Can you really afford to give up such useful magic?”
“Who said anything about giving up my magic?” he replies with a mischievous tone, plucking one of the tail vertebra loose and holding it up between his first finger and thumb. “Death Magic: Dust to Dust.”

And to everyone's even greater shock, turns the bone in his hand to dust, sprinkling over the platter of bones. The silence grows heavier, you wondering what in the world happened to him? You clearly missed something very important in his life, something in the past few weeks to change his outlook.

But how do you respond to this? DO you respond to this, or turn to someone else?

“Chilli, what happened?” you ask him, your firstborn son turning to you. “We haven't talked for a few weeks, but you've clearly been through quite a lot. What happened?”
“Well, it all started when Ainz reached out to me...” Chilli says, weaving quite the tale. Starting with someone hijacking his Crystal Stars, the floating weapons platforms strong enough to break the strongest magical barrier on his world and turning them on his allies. How he tried to save his allies, taking out the groups possessing his weapons before finding the source. A powerful demigod, wielding incredible power. And how, despite being wounded and tired, tried to challenge that godly foe.

“What happened next?” Maza asks, your youngest four also having crowded around from their table to hear his tale.
“Well, long story short? I lost.” he says, your younger children all gasping in surprise. Even your older children, Broly, Maza, Koruza all look shocked, Caulifla and Milha not looking surprised, however. “He nearly killed me, breaking my Death-infused sword and stabbing it into my chest before breaking it off.”

Holding up his hand he creates that same crystal from before, looking like a few inches of sword blade in his fingers.

“Chilli made it home, but then collapsed. I called Caulifla, who came to heal him.” Megumin adds in, her voice still sounding a bit pained. “But even with her power, she couldn't heal him from Death.”
“My magic couldn't remove it from him, like it does other embedded unnatural things. I didn't know my healing couldn't remove it, even if I'd have known there was still a piece of sword inside him.” Caulifla adds in, and from her expression you can tell she's still feeling guilty over this. Feeling guilty she hadn't healed him,.
“You couldn't have known, I didn't have time to say it to anyone.” your son tells her, trying to console her. “But since I survived it, now you know. For days, I survived with having a shard of Death this size within me.”

“That's impossible.” Towa suddenly says, having been quiet up to this point. “There is no way you could have survived tha-”
“My Dad can, because he can do anything.” Meloka Wolbach says, your granddaughter standing up on the bench with her hands on the table. “I know, I was there! And when my Daddy finally woke up, he ripped it right out of his own chest!”
“Wh-?!” Towa starts, you glancing over to him and seeing her looking absolutely befuddled. Her brilliant mind cannot comprehend how such a thing would even be possible. “That's not real. That's... Impossible. Unbelievable.”

Towa sinks back into her seat, muttering to herself as her eyes flick back and forth, reading something none of you can see. Clearly using her excellent memory to reread something she's read before, no doubt searching for an answer. But Chilli doesn't provide one to her, continuing his tale. Telling you all of how he battled the undead army of the demigod lich Velsharoon, fighting for what felt like hours against all manner of monster and beast, undead and living both. At this point Megumin chimes in, looking to her husband and beaming with pride.

“It was hours, hun. Three hours and forty eight minutes.” Megumin says, you all looking to her in shock. “I was counting as my Chilli fought. Relentlessly, fighting off wave after wave of unimaginable monsters, taking all of them down until that monster himself showed up.”
“That he did. Velsharoon walked right into my trap, and I got him.” your son says, pride in his voice. “I kept him from escaping, thanks to Milha activating that last barrier outside the village preventing all manner of teleportation. I killed him, crushing even his spirit with Death magic.”
“But he is a lich, unless you got his Phylactery he's still alive.” Towa says, suddenly back in the conversation. “Is that what you were up to for so long?”

“At first, before Lord Jergal told me he'd handled it. Turns out his Phylactery wasn't even in the mortal plane.” Chilli replies to her, sighing a bit. “But he had other Reapers take care of that. But when he approached me with this news, he offered a promotion. To be Captain of the Reapers in the mortal realm. But, after some time soul searching, I turned him down. Gave him back his tome, retired from the Reapers. I'm done with that life. Now I can better dedicate my time to my family, my studies and my training.”
“From your tone, it sounds like you made the right choice.” you tell your son, who looks to you and nods, smile growing just a fraction wider. The two of you share a look before, then simultaneously nod. Seems your son has gotten not only stronger, but wiser as well.

“You left out the best part!” Meloka Wolbach suddenly calls out, you turning to her curiously. “Tell them about your NEW power, Dad! The one you and grandpa share!”
“Oh?” you reply, wondering if Chilli somehow learned to tap into the Berserker Soul. It would make sense how it, of all powers could resist Death from a divine source. But as you look to your son, see something else there in his gaze. Clearly, whatever your granddaughter is talking about, it isn't that. But what could she mean? “What new power is this?”

“It's not something I can do here. When you all show up for the party, I'll show you then.” he replies, smiling as his younger siblings demand he tell them what new powers he got. But with his explanation, suddenly an idea comes to mind. Which, if true, means he's now more like you than ever. But as you look across the table, you realize that the entire restaurant is now full, every seat occupied by small groups eating together. And as one group finishes they all get up, heading out the door only for another to IMMEDIATELY come in and replace them. Which is when you realize that your family are taking up space, space they could be using to seat a lot of the people waiting outside to eat.

“Alright, we've taken up space long enough. We can all talk outside, let's get out of everyone's way so they can eat too.” you say, pushing yourself up to your feet. Your older children, looking around a moment recognize this, also getting up. Within a minute you've all got up and are ready to head out, you calling telepathically to the two former disciples of Silver. “Excellent work you two, your meal's quality now rivals Silver's own. We'll definitely be back.”

“Appreciate it!”
“Have a nice night!”

The two respond, you leading your large family out of the restaurant. Immediately the warmth of your world feels welcome, you taking a deep breath then sighing out. This was good, you needed this time. Several groups are let in as you all exit, no doubt ready to eat a delicious meal themselves. The sun's fully gone down now, the only lights the city lights, lighting up the street you find yourselves on across from the administration building.

But what now?

As you take a deep breath in, slowly sighing out you turn your attention to the quietest of your children today, Tatsu and Tomi. The older twins have been quiet all meal, in fact you don't remember speaking to them much over the past weeks. Curious, you walk over to them, the two looking up to you simultaneously. Seems they've gotten better in-sync.

“So, what have the two of you been up to?” you ask them, placing a hand on each of their shoulders. “We've all gotten so busy we haven't really talked lately. How are you both?”
“Fine.” both answer perfectly simultaneously. “Been working on putting the finishing touches on our new technique.”
“Oh? A new technique? What have you been developing?” you ask, the twins smirking and leaping back away from you all. Standing at their usual fusion distance, but instead of taking the fusion pose both cross their arms.

“Instead of explaining it, we'll show you.” they reply simultaneously, you feeling their energies spiking. You and the rest of your family all watch as they begin using the Multiform technique, splitting their bodies in two. “This isn't a technique we can pull off on our own, as it takes multiple steps to pull off. And this is step one. Step two, now, will look familiar.”

And at this the four bodies take their Fusion Dance positions, setting up to make two fusions. Suddenly, in a flash of foresight see a wild vision. With TWO Tomitsu standing side-by-side and attempting to fuse, doing the dance together and touching their fingertips together. Making a blinding pale azure light, one you feel that you've seen somewhere before. Then before you can process this you return to the present, watching as the four bodies do their Fusion Dances in sync.

“FUUUUU! SION! HAAAAAA!!” Tatsu, Tatsu, Tomi and Tomi all say, fingertips touching as the four are consumed in two distinct and simultaneous flashes of light. And as the light fades, your vision was confirmed: there are now TWO Tomitsu! And as one they speak, voices confident as both, while each roughly half the same power as Super Saiyan Tomitsu speak confidently. “This is step two. Double trouble. And here's where things get fun.”
“Hold on. You don't mean-?” Ace says, surprising everyone by speaking up. Everyone except the two Tomitsu, who go into their technique once more.

“FUUUUUSION! HAAAAAA!!” the two fusions shout, fingertips. And as they do, that blinding pale azure light that swallows up the two fusions consumes everything. Both Tomitsu powers' merge, forming something new. Something... Powerful.

Very. Fusion itself is already fragile, something you can split with just a bit of Forced Spirit Fission. This fusion is like trying to balance on a unicycle on top of a guy riding a unicycle on a tightrope.

First, unlike the first fusions they didn't fuse directly into a Super Saiyan, despite both Tomitsu being Super Saiyans when they had fused. But second is the power, this Tomitsu is strong. Stronger than anything you've ever felt from the two of them, even back when they went Golden Oozaru against the Universe 6 fusion warrior Kefla. The very air itself feels charged with their energy, this new fighter's power feeling unreal. “A double fusion? What would that make you, Tatsomitsumi?”

“I got it, Totomimitsutsu!” Meloka Wolbach exclaims excitedly, causing her brother and father to chuckle a bit.
“We are no longer Tomitsu. We just call this 'Twomitsu' for simplicity.” they say, their every word causing the very air to vibrate with barely-restrained might. With a careless movement this 'Twomitsu' could level not just this city, but possibly the entire planet as well. They are powerful, there's no doubt. But as the two stand there, unmoving, you know that there has to be some sort of price to this power. Something you're not the only one to realize.

“This power, it's impressive. But how long can you maintain this form?” Towa asks, sounding curious. “Does doubling a fusion double the time, or perhaps half it?”
“Worse, we only get about a fifth of our usual time.” Twomitsu says, raising a hand. Slowly, carefully, to avoid making a powerful shock wave with just that simple action, then raising one hand, all five fingers splayed. “Without using any power, this form lasts for just under five and a half minutes. This insane power does come at the price of longevity.”
“Squaring the power for taking the square root of longevity? Hrmm.” Towa mutters, bringing a hand to her chin as she looks upon the fused being. Clearly formulating something in that devious mind of hers.

But what about you? What do you say to Twomitsu?
>Telepathically ask Raven to open her portal back to Raxus Prime, then ask Twomitsu to give you all a demonstration of their full power
>Congratulate the twins on finding this insane level of power, even if impractical due to the time restriction it is still quite the impressive feat
>Ask this Twomitsu how Tatsu and Tomi figured out they could do this, what inspired this doubling up of the technique
>Challenge them to hit you with an attack, fly up away from the ground so your brand-new city doesn't take any collateral damage from their crazy power

“Hey, Raven. You can sense this, right?” you ask, telepathically reaching out to the planet's Guardian. “Mind throwing us open a portal to Raxus Prime? I do want to see what they can do.”
“Of course, give me a few seconds.” she replies, you thanking her and ending the mental link. Only to see Maza step forward, powering up in a flash into his Primal form. The two stare each other down, Maza then powering back down.
“Damn. You're even stronger than my Primal form.” Maza says, sounding somewhere between impressed at their power and disappointed he doesn't match up. “Look at you.”

Then, before Twomitsu can reply a portal opens up behind them, you stepping forward.

“Alright, how about you give us a demonstration?” you ask, Twomitsu looking from you to the portal then back to you. “Go on, show off a little bit.”
“Very well.” Twomitsu replies, carefully stepping through the portal. Flying out into the large crater, you see the fusion land, raising a hand to the air. Then their pale azure aura blazes, power skyrocketing as you feel the fusion gather their power. “HAAAAAAAAAA!!”

And with a roar the fused warrior fires a simple ki blast into the air. The energy torrent from Twomitsu's hand is incredible, the energy they're firing off as dense as Junior's own energy, more powerful than anything you've sensed from any of your children before. Even as a Berserker God, you are unsure if you could even take such a hit yourself and still keep fighting. But as the two continue firing their blast, you see Twomitsu begin glowing with golden light straight down their middle. The beam ends, then with a pop and flash of white light Twomitsu splits. Reverting back not into the two fusions, or even the four kids, but back in their original two bodies.

“Huh, you return to your original bodies? Interesting.” Towa says, you glancing to her and seeing the demon princess stroking her chin. Mind no doubt racing, exploring possibilities in her mind.
“That was AMAZING!” Meloka Wolbach shouts excitedly, running up to the edge of the portal. “You guys were super amazing!”
“Haha, thank you.” they both say, flying over and both ruffling her hair with opposite hands. You can feel your granddaughter beaming, seeing the smile on her face as she moves to let the twins back through. Once they are, Raven closes the portal, you sending her a quick thank you to her. “Well, what do you guys think?”

“That fusion technique is surprising. I thought just fusing once was the limits.” Chaya says, your eldest walking over to them. “Have you tried making fused yourselves? Like fusing two Tatsu and two Tomi together before fusing?”
“It doesn't work. Even if the Fusion Dance is performed perfectly, you cannot fuse two of yourself together with it.” Tatsu and Tomi both say together. Clearly having tried it before. “You can only fuse two beings who are different, not two of the same.”
“But you fused two Tomitsu together? How does that work?” Broly asks, sounding genuinely confused. “I thought you couldn't fuse two identical people together?”

“That's right. It doesn't work with identical people. However, when we fuse, we create different bodies. Ones that, even if they look the same, aren't.” the twins reply. “Don't know why it works like this, just that it does.”
“I see.” he replies, seeming content with the answer. But Towa is only getting more fired up, mind ablaze with possibilities.
“Would it be too inconvenient for you both to run in my lab tomorrow for a few tests? This is incredible, I'm sure I can get some excellent data from you both. And you as well, Tomitsu, as to how different these two bodies can be.”
“Of course, it's not a problem at all.” they reply, sounding a bit eager as well to understand the 'why' of how these things work themselves. “It could explain quite a few questions we've had.”

And at this point Chilli, glancing to his wife is clearly thinking about heading back home, you seeing the telltale signs they're communicating telepathically between themselves. Most everyone else is starting to look tired as well, your youngest four starting to yawn and rub at their eyes sleepily. It's about time to call it a day.

But before you do, is there anyone else you want to speak to?

But seeing your daughter, you decide to reach out to her. She hasn't been home much since her last encounter with Raditz, saying she was busy and not coming around. But you have a sneaking suspicion she's still hurting, so decide to reach out to her. Not aloud, though. Just in case she doesn't want to talk to everyone about this, you reach out telepathically.

“Hey, Chaya. You doing okay?” you ask her with a thought, your eldest daughter glancing to you. “Everything okay?”
“Yeah?” she replies after a moment, clearly confused. “Dad? What is it? What's going on?”
“I'm just making sure you're okay, kiddo.” you tell her, brows furrowing a bit as she looks to you. “Last time we talked, you weren't doing so well after... What happened on Eudora.”

“It wasn't a good time, I was pretty messed up from meeting Raditz again and what he said for a while.” your daughter replies aloud, having walked over to stand beside you. “But thanks to my friends, I'm over it. Over him. He and Redis can go on and live their lives, and I'll do the same. In fact, after the fight with Hit wraps up, I'm planning to announce that I'm looking for a new partner.”
“Oh, really? Well, that's good.” you say, surprised at just how... Okay she seems. You remember the spiral she went down before, to see her so perfectly okay with not only talking about him, but wishing him well and talking about moving on? It's so unbelievable you can't help but feel shocked. In a good way, as this is the point you'd wanted her to get to. You just hadn't thought it would be so soon. “So, do you have anyone in mind?”

“No. But I have a plan.” she says with a grin, then continuing telepathically lets you know what she's scheming. “After I beat Hit, I'll be announcing to everyone that I'm going to be hosting a universe-wide competition. A tournament, to show what everyone can do.”
“A tournament? If you're looking for strong, why have it universe-wide? Why not just here on our world, where the strongest gather?” you ask her, to which your daughter's grin widens.
“It's not all about strength, I'm not looking for someone to protect me, I'm looking for someone to love me. Who will love me as much if not more than I love them, more than most of my fans adore me even.” she says, then looks down at her hands as she continues speaking aloud. “Someone who'll make me want to reciprocate their love, will make me want to spend time with them because of who they are and how they make me feel. Someone who will make me not want to live without them, and would do anything for. That's the kind of love I'm looking for.”

Silence hangs in the air, everyone looking to Chaya. Who, after a few moments realizes she said all that aloud, a blush coming to her face in embarrassment. However, the first one to break the silence is surprisingly Megumin, who walks over and places a hand on her shoulder.

“I know you will. There's someone out there for everyone, and it may not be who you first think they are.” she says, the Crimson Demon reminding you that the two of them were friends first, before she and Chilli started becoming a thing. “But I know they're out there. Maybe you should swing by sometime? We don't have Dreadzone out on our planet, so if you're going to do a big announcement anyone on our world won't see it.”
“Hey, that's a good point! And there are probably others too, what if they're on one of these other worlds? I have to go make more preparations!” Chaya says, taking Megumin's hands in both of hers, shaking them several times. “Thank you so much, but now I gotta go! I have to make sure I don't miss anywhere!”

And with that Chaya backs up, raising her hand to her forehead and vanishing. No doubt returning to Dreadzone, to further increase the reach of the net she's about to cast.

“I reckon we should head on back as well. It was good coming down, look forward to seeing everyone for the party.” Chilli says, then to his two kids. “Go on, tell everyone bye for now.”
“Byeeeee!!” the grandchildren call, then both launch themselves at you and your wife. Catching Meloka Wolbach in your arms, your wife catching Kazuburo, you spend a few minutes all saying your farewells. Broly and Kori return to their crew, Chilli and his family return home. Milha, however, chooses to stay, her and Darkness standing a bit back from everyone. Until everyone else who is departing leaves, then comes up to you.
“Father, may...? Would it be okay if Lalatina and I stayed here for a few days?” she asks, voice trembling a bit with hesitation. You can see the uncertainty and hope in her eyes as she looks up to you. As if unsure she even wants to, but clearly wants to make the attempt.

Well? How do you respond?

“I was hoping that you would stay, at least for a little while.” you reply, reaching over and placing your hand on your daughter's shoulder and giving her a smile. “After all, it's partly thanks to you that this city even happened, I was hoping you'd come back to me.”

Then, turning your focus to the other woman, whose cheeks are a bit flushed continue speaking.

“Of course, you're welcome to stay with her as well, whenever the two of you want to come over and take a retreat from your world.” you tell the blonde, who looks surprised at your offer. “I know it's difficult to leave your home behind, but feel free to stay whenever you wish.”
“I-uhh, th-thank you.” she says, giving you a surprisingly deep bow. You nod back, turning your focus on your daughter.
“Feel free to stay as long or as often as you want, this is your home too.” you tell her, then turn to Maza. “Hey, Maza. First responsibility, is finding a place for them to stay, just the two of them. I know we have more housing than people, there's enough beds to sit almost our entire population here. This'll be your first official duty.”

“Yes sir!” your son replies, snapping a crisp Saiyan salute before taking off, sprinting up the steps of the administrative building. No doubt to secure one of the datapads with the records on them, to find an open building. That done, you then pat Milha on the shoulder once more, turning as you hear someone calling your name. Emerging from the restaurant is none other than Silver himself, the older man hobbling along on his crutch.
“So. What did'ja think?” he asks you, pointing over his shoulder with his right thumb at the restaurant behind him. “How'd those kids do?”
“How'd they do? I think if you don't stay on top of your game, those two'll surpass you before much longer.” you say in a joking tone, a smile coming to Silver's eyes as his mouth twitches upwards. “So, how does it feel? To have your students coming close to surpassing you?”

“Tryin' to prepare for the future, aye?” he replies, with a chuckle, you walking with him and the rest of your family back to your ship across the city. “Feels... Good. Knowin' I taught 'em all I know, everythin' I've got and turned 'em loose, feels good.”
“I get that feeling.” you reply, thinking of your oldest three, how they've all moved out and on as well. Forming families of their own, or at least attempting to, establishing themselves out on their own worlds or chunks of space. “They're all growing up.”
“Aye.” he responds, you two walking back the rest of the way in silence. You thinking on your other children, wondering what the rest of them will go on to do.

Arriving back home you go about your evening ritual, washing the day off then climbing into bed with Towa and Meloka both. The two women each laying a head on one shoulder, and arm around each of them as you lay on your back and drift off to sleep. Which is peaceful and restful, floating alone in an endless nothing without any prying eyes or watchful observers disturbing your rest. And once your body is well-rested you wake up once more, ready to face the new day. With only a week before Chaya's match with Hit, she's no doubt going to be busy. But now that your schedule is finally 'settled', no longer working on fixing your awake and sleep times to this new timezone, it is time to get to work.

Or at least get a schedule together to get back to it, or get to any sorts of new training you hadn't been doing before. The only set time for any of your training is with Cooler in the evenings, your last training of the day before eating and going to sleep. With eight hours a day for sleep, something you don't always use all of but still set aside regardless, you feel that you have five solid 'blocks' of training. Three in the mornings and two in the evenings, followed by sparring with Golden Cooler. So, with the day ahead of you, it's time to choose.

How will you start each of your days? What training to you wake up to, or do you handle other business first?
>Votes in follow-up post, damn character limits

Well? How do you begin your days?
>Solo gravity training, cranking it as high as your machine can go and pushing yourself to the limits
>Waking up Meloka and sparring with her, not too intensely but enough to get you both awake and blood pumping
>Taking the kids over to Raven's to have them learn under the Guardian while working on meditation for yourself(Only morning slot this option is available)
>Practicing and learning more in-depth on the Djem So armed and unarmed form under Bane's spectral gaze
>Use the Multiform to split and spar yourself, no better way to find any weaknesses in your attack or defense than to see it first-hand
>Finally learning that other fighting style from Bane, the Juyo form as he called it. Having a burst option to surpass a stronger foe temporarily to quickly close out fights could be vital
>Waking Meloka and having her help you further increase your ki control, to get closer to her level of mastery over her own energy
>Energy Body training, work on further mastering your defensive technique even further
>Work on your own energy attacks, perhaps even developing a new attack or technique
>Go to the administrative building first, handling the day's operations first before going and doing your own workout. Not the most exciting start to a day, but getting all the paperwork and obligations out of the way first leaves the rest of your day free

To be fair, it should be a lot more feasible in our case than Naruto's given for a few reasons. Chief among them being;
>Karn doesn't bitch and moan when doing something he doesn't like
>There should be far less paperwork here than in the Hokage's office (which is an OBSCENE amount for no reason)
>Karn knows better than to keep such a straining technique up for more than a few hours at a time

As much as you'd want to start your day training, pushing yourself to your limits, as the governor, as King Vegeta'd called you of your city, you're not responsible for keeping it functioning and everything running smoothly. Or at least appointing those who'll do so, and keeping them in line. So, you sneak out of bed, grabbing your official uniform and not just a training suit, getting dressed as you sneak out of your bedroom and make your way through the halls. Haathe meets you halfway to the entrance, the woman already up as well.

“Good morning, my lord. Art thou returning to thy training?” she asks you, falling into step with you.
“Much as I want to, not yet. First thing's first, have to head over to administration.” you tell her, the two of you exiting together as you lower the ramp, then raise it back up once you both are outside. “This city's under my authority, need to make sure it runs properly.”
“As a good Lord should.” she replies, nodding once in approval. The two of you walk from the beach to the city, crossing from sand to recently hardened pavement and heading towards the center, where the administration is. Most of the homes are still dark, you waking up a bit earlier than everyone else, it seems, as you go to the government building. Where, guarding the only entrance and exit are two of your students, both sitting on the steps with their backs to the doors.

“Mornin' General!” Nion calls, one of your first students to have reached Super Saiyan greeting you with a wave. “Openin' 'er up early?”
“Yes, going to get this stuff out of the way early, at least whatever needs my authority to go through.” you reply, the two standing and both inserting their keys at opposite ends, unlocking the double doors. Planting their feet and bracing themselves, both slam a shoulder into the heavy metal, slowly budging the doors open. Built to withstand the Covenant's glassing lasers, the entire building is built of an extremely dense and heavy metal alloy, nearly as heavy and indestructible as Katchin. The two force the doors open halfway, not sliding the doors all the way back but leaving enough of an opening for three average-sized Saiyan warriors to walk in shoulder-to-shoulder. Making your way inside you head directly to the office, towards where you sense several others. Those who work through the night, their schedule still on main city time so they head to bed when the morning shift arrive. Opening the door, you see the half-dozen Saiyans at their terminals, keys clacking as they type. As you walk in, only one looks up, smiling at your and Haathe's arrival.

“Just a moment.” you tell her, taking a deep breath then sighing out. “Haaah. Alright, let's get down to business.”
“Yes sir!” she replies, you diving into the work. The next hour or so is a blur of numbers and figures, you going through everything from fuel and food usage and requisitioning rations for your people to the status of the power plant, water desalination facility, sewage, et cetera et cetara. Making sure everything is running smoothly, and that there aren't any issues. You are well into this process when, suddenly the office door opens, Maza coming in.

“Mornin' Maza.” you tell your son, waving him over. He strides in, you seeing everyone look up as he comes in, some sharing confused glances at his entrance. Knowing this, you take a moment to address the room. “Alright everyone, listen up. I'm sure you all know my son, Maza. And starting today, he'll be my second. He has all the authority I have to make decisions, what he says goes unless it directly contradicts my own orders. If anyoone has any objections, go ahead and speak your piece now. You will face no repercussions for speaking your truth in this time, but if you do have something to say, say it now.”
“Maza, you're the one who keeps trying to overthrow King Vegeta IV, right?” Mayze asks him, showing no hesitation. Which is why you'd chosen her to lead the office in your absence, she's got the fire to keep things running smoothly in your absence. “Are you going to try and use this position to usurp the king?”

“No. For now, as long as I hold this office, and once I depart it, King Vegeta IV will not face any further challenge from me for his throne.” Maza answers her directly. “The throne I seek isn't in this realm. But my father was right, I do not yet have the experience to run even a single city, much less an entire planet or realm. So, to learn the arts of statescraft, of management, I shall be working here for the foreseeable future. Unless there are any other complaints?”

No one immediately answers, some sharing glances with each other before Mayze walks directly up to him, offering your son her hand.

“Very well, welcome aboard Maza.” she says, taking his hand in hers with zero hesitation. “I look forward to working with you as well.”

And as polite claps echo about the small room, you can't get over the feeling that this feels like the start of something new, something good. The dawn of a new era is beginning here, in your city. One you'll give your all to protect, no matter what comes your way.

And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy the ride? Ready to finally get to deciding on your daily training schedule, with four main time slots? Are you ready to face the challenge of balancing training, administration and teaching, all while also getting in enough time with your family scattering about the universe? Ready to face more difficult choices, not necessarily fights but more challenging issues you can't simply punch away? All this and more, when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues next time!

Good to see Karn hit the ground running with this whole "Governor" bit. I wonder if there's a more formal uniform we can wear while we're carrying out official business, just so people can figure out that we're busy at a glance.
>>
You know, it probably was good that we came here first, to be here to verify everything when Maza walked in and claimed to be in charge (or deputy). Otherwise, could have gotten a bit hostile
>>
>>6143361
No, Karn's 'uniform' is full armor, as he mostly doesn't bother wearing that anymore. Destroying a suit every time he transforms is kind of a waste.
>>6143363
He only showed up because you were here, if you hadn't been he wouldn't have gone. As eager for power as he is, he knows they wouldn't have simply taken his word for it.

>>6143364
Oh yeah, what's the coffee situation looking like in the office? I won't have any of our clerks or admins running around without a hearty dose of bitter stimulant.
Okay real talk though, who all saw Twomitsu's demonstration yesterday? Inside and outside of our timeline.
And how's Koruza coming along with attaining Primal?
Any Hydae incursions along the coast since the last one? Or have they learned their lesson?

Hell yes, I am ready for Saiyan Multiversal Politics Quest.
Also, we unironically need Maza to endure a meeting with insufferable nobles who are nonetheless vital to their local infrastructure. Playing nice with people you want to strangle is part and parcel of being a good leader.

If Maza can get through a meeting with the Neimoidians from the Trade Federation without killing one of them, he can consider himself a an experienced statesman.

Did you not read the epilogue? It's pretty explicit that it's the Champion powers for his world.

Thread 228 Epilogue II;
>However, as you do, you feel something else. All the ki surging throughout your body isn't only your own. Through your heels, planted firmly on your home, you feel more energy surging into you. Billions of different ki, energy from all the living beings of this world are pouring into you as well, further strengthening your body and enhancing your power greater than it has ever been before.

>Immediately you recognize this power from what you'd heard your father say, and it seems, thanks to this battle, that your planet has recognized YOU as it's champion.

Pretty clear, right?

It is the Champion power, but the better question is how does Meloka Wolbach know of it? She's never seen you use it before.

Haha, perhaps. Perhaps...

Also not entirely wrong, but that's more a Karn thing since previous reality Karn merged with this Karn.

I did read it.
>Pretty clear, right?
>Oh, nevermind; forgot that Dragon Ball fans can't read.
Oh no. You caught me red handed. It's all true. I admit. I can't read and I think I never will.

Anyway the reason for this mistake is well when Meloka Wolbah said this line:
>>6142845
>“Tell them about your NEW power, Dad! The one you and grandpa share!”
It got me excited that it will be something truly new and in a moment Chilli will show everyone an ability we have not seen before. When he said:
>>6142846
>“It's not something I can do here. When you all show up for the party, I'll show you then.”
I was thinking he just said it to fuel everyone's curiosity. I imagined that his extremely hard battle with Velsharoon pushed him past his limit and after his near death experience and fight he discovered that something changed within him. He discovered a new power .
>>6143897
>It is the Champion power, but the better question is how does Meloka Wolbach know of it? She's never seen you use it before.
This has not seemed out of ordinary to me. I assumed that after battle Chilli found a moment to explain to his family what happened, maybe even demonstrate to them his new power. So she knew everything about it from Chilli.

And lastly I did not think about Champion when Meloka Wolbach talked about new power because of how I perceive Champion.

Imagine that suddenly strange time vortex opens and Karn falls into it. He lands in an unknown timeline and world. Even his time traveling allies can't immediately find him, and the place he ended in is filled with strong hostile creatures. He must withstand and survive till allies locate him or he finds a way back on his own.

So what he has to rely on? His own skill, powers such as his Ki, his Saiyan transformations or his Stand (I know Dragon Force is still napping). But can he use his Champion power there?

No, because it's very situational and only works on New Salda. It's not really his own power. It's power that New Salda lends him.

Of course I am very happy that Karn and Chilli are Champions of their planets, but I don't view this power as something they own, because it's not truly theirs.

>Yes, or perhaps something ELSE happened...?
First suspiciously long time has passed since Bardock has started his mission to get to Raditz, and there are hints that maybe something bad happened to him. Now there is a possibility that something bad also happened to Arctus while everyone was busy and not paying attention. It makes me nervous what else we have not noticed. In quest characters are oblivious to this. I feel like something is going on. I just hope that after a while we will not notice that "Hey is it not strange we have not heard anything from Broly and Kori since their last visit. Anyone know where are they? I can't contact them."
>>6143866
Stay strong Anon. It's not easy for those of us who can't read.
>>6144099
I refuse to believe that any of them has reached Primal or even Super Sayian 3. Super Sayian 2 at best.
>>
>>6144362
It is kind of ironic that, despite not sharing the most iconic powers of his father, Chilli continuously ends up being closer and closer to his old man. Just, in his own way.
>and after his near death experience and fight he discovered that something changed within him
Well, yes. Remember, he can now use Death magic without the tome or any connection to Jergal as a Reaper anymore. A mortal wields Death.
That was a setup for an intermission/epilogue that'll happen once an artist or two finishes their work. New Salda has its art, but what does Chilli's planet's avatar look like?
And yes, but would an almost four year old get that distinction?
>>6144363
We'll see what's happened with him, if he chose to spend time with his son, if his team got delayed/intercepted, or if something else happened. Same with Arctus, we know he learned from past mistakes and isn't connecting the doctor's head to any device that can send/receive a spacenet connection. But has his work been impeded by someone tracking the doctor's signal down? Or is the encryption simply far tougher to crack than he'd anticipated?
As for the nobles, before Super Saiyan they were the highest caste due to their high base powerlevels. Lording over others with their might. But with Karn becoming the Super Saiyan, they will have changed. Some training to increase power, to maintain their position over the weaker while others, even more rigid in the caste belief, firmly believing themselves inferior to Karn and that HE, as strongest should rule.
>>
>>6144374
>while others, even more rigid in the caste belief, firmly believing themselves inferior to Karn and that HE, as strongest should rule.
I get the sentiment but he's really only good for turbomurdering the fuck out of your enemies and being a Dad. Politics in general are an area of expertise Karn has little to no experience in. The almighty Paperwork-Sama would make him fall to his knees.

>>
>>6144497
I figured they would still isekai people except now the demon king to kill is chili and the hero just gets even more cheat items.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 229 Intermission-

AGE 758, BEERUS' PLANET

“Haaaaah! Last one!” you say, grabbing the last handful of grass and cutting through it with the hand blade Whis had given you, throwing the last of the cut grass over your shoulder into the final container before carefully setting it off your back to the ground. Then collapse onto all fours, strength spend and struggling to breathe as sweat pours off of you. “What utter lunacy! To think that doing such domestic chores were so exhausting!”
“Well, would you look at that? I must say, the lawn looks wonderful.” Whis, your ever-present taskmaster says in a tone of slight approval. “Now that you're finished, should we begin your training?”
“H-Hold on. You mean that WASN'T even the training?!” you ask, barely able to raise your head to meet the angel's gaze. To which he gives a condescending smirk, but you don't care. After the hours spent changing Lord Beerus' sheets while he slept, scrubbing down and cleaning the massive tree that is the Destroyer's home, cleaning out all of the so-called Oracle Fish's bowls, and now cutting the giant lawn by hand, you're exhausted. Far moreso than any training you'd done before, even when Karn was preparing you for the Siege of New Salda, when he'd damn near pushed you to your breaking point. “Ridiculous.”

“I can see that doing domestic chores, while a first for you, has clearly exhausted you. So, how about we take a short tea break first? While we were at your father's, I did pick up quite a few special blends.”
“I think. I would like. That.” you manage to get out, Whis nodding shallowly and vanishing without a trace. You focus on controlling your breathing, getting your heart under control with deep, slow inhales. And by the time you've recovered enough to rise back to your feet, Whis has returned. Teleporting himself along with a table and two chairs, the tea already set out on it. “Thank you, Whis.”
“Of course. You may be here to learn, but you are also a guest here.” the angel replies, picking his tea up and sipping it. “For now. One day this world may be yours, after all.”

Getting to your feet you walk over, sitting in the chair and taking the tiny teacup in both hands. Lightly blowing on it before taking a sip. Recognizing the leaves immediately as one of Father's favorites, your brows shoot up questioningly.

“Yes, your father provided the leaves more than two hundred years ago, as I recall.” Whis answers your unspoken question with a knowing look before taking another sip himself. “An excellent flavor.”
“Yes, the tea is quite lovely. Does seem to pair better with manual labor than a day of idolatry.” you reply, looking up from your cup to the angel with another question in mind. “Aside from Meloka, is Lord Beerus the last being you've trained here?”

“Yes. I haven't been a teacher for quite some time. And while my time with Meloka here was rather short, it was... Informative.” Whis says, after a moment's consideration. Silence hangs in the air between you for several seconds, you unsure if he'll continue before he does. “I had forgotten how... Impatient mortals can be, how quickly they're determined to make greater strides. But impressive, as well. I am hoping you show the same determination to improve yourself, Freeza.”

“I see. Well, if you are ready to begin, then so am I.” you reply, taking the cup back up in both hands, downing the rest of the tea before setting it gingerly back on the saucer before standing up from the table. Whis takes another sip, setting his back down as well before standing too. Summoning his staff to his hand he taps the ground once, causing it to vanish back to wherever he'd summoned it from.
“Then let us begin. Follow me.” Whis says, you wordlessly complying. Following him to the outer edge of the world, onto a track where an odd-seeming weight is kept. “This will be the first part of your training.”
“A weight? One with holes for the arms, I take it the first task is to lift such a weight with the forearms?” you ask, Whis nodding shallowly before speaking.

“Yes. Although Meloka was the last one to use it, your heights are roughly the same, so it shouldn't need adjusting. Just place your arms through the holes, lift the weight, and then I shall explain further.” he says, you getting the feeling this is going to be a lot tougher than it seems, that there's more to this. But you came here to train, so without hesitation walk over, squatting down and sliding your arms through the holes as instructed. However, as you try to lift it, realize that this training isn't going to be easy. The weight doesn't even budge, you grunting in surprise.

“Mmmph-! Wh-What?!” you exclaim, surprised that you don't even budge the weight. Adjusting yourself, planting your feet on the outsides of the weight and gritting your teeth, you put everything you've got into lifting the block. “Tch! GRRRRR! SHHYAAAAAA!!”

With a triumphant roar you lift the weight, holding it several inches across the ground.

“I-! I lifted it!” you exclaim in triumph. “It's in the air!”
“Very well done. Now, keep carrying it and go for a run. Today we'll start with one lap around the planet.” he says, you nearly dropping it in surprise as your head twitches towards the angel. But the weight threatens to go back down, forcing you to put your whole back into it.
“Run...? Like this?!” you exclaim, barely able to keep the insanely heavy weight off the ground, much less take a step. “That's impossible!”

“Careful now. If you don't start running, the path will disappear.” Whis says, you hearing an ominous noise from behind you. And you don't have to look back to know that he's serious, gritting your teeth and struggling to raise the weight higher, to give you a split second more action to step forward. The entire movement nearly throws you off-balance, even with your tail providing a small measure of stability. But you did it, you took a step. Panting in exhaustion, you gather yourself to take another step, and then another. Then, on your fourth step hear the noise once more, this time much closer than before over your grunts of exertion. And over all that, you hear Whis' voice calling out. “If you fall off the path, you'll be thrown into another dimension and be unable to ever return.”

“What madness!” you think to yourself, struggling to keep ahead of the ominous noise. Without looking back you keep pushing yourself, focus narrowing entirely down to putting one foot in front of the other. Taking it step by step, losing focus on the entire rest of the world. Losing track of even the time itself, until, suddenly, there is a flash of light. And suddenly you're no longer on the path, instead find yourself back inside Lord Beerus' bedroom, surrounded by the floating hourglass alarm clocks. “Wh-What?!”
“YOU REALLY EXPECT ME TO EAT THAT?!!” the Destroyer suddenly shouts in his sleep, firing a massive blast from his mouth in his sleep. And with only an instant to react you drop the weight, dashing to your left to dodge the massive blast. His energy vaporizes the insanely heavy weight, the sheer force of his attack cutting through the air and sending you smashing into the wall. Collapsing it, sending the heavy material all crashing down onto you. Burying you in the rubble, you groaning and sighing out in relief all at once.

But as you lay there, Whis arriving a few moments later and using his magic to rebuild the building and carrying all the blocks off of you, you can't help but think he KNEW that this was about to happen.

“You managed to evade his attack, very well done. That's enough training for today.” the angel tells you, smiling ever-so condescendingly down at you. “Go and get your rest, because tomorrow we'll be doing it all over again.”
“Again?” you wonder to yourself, struggling to rise. “Like hell. You keep this pace up and I'll be dead before the end of the week!”

But he kept his word, you repeating all the same training from the day before. The overgrown lawn had fully grown back overnight, the Oracle Fish had dirtied every single one of its bowls, everything. So you went back to it, doing domestic chores day in and day out, spending little time actually training with Whis after your after-chores tea.

Yet each day you can feel yourself growing stronger, your body adapting to the high-stress regimen Whis has you on. And before you even realize it, months have passed. You've grown to master the morning chores, cutting down the time it takes you to do them in half. Spending more time after tea doing serious training, until one day after tea, when Whis disappears the table he doesn't take you to the edge of the world. Instead, this time he takes you out to a rather peaceful field of flowers by the lake, coming to a stop by the lake and turning to face you.

“You have progressed most admirably, Freeza. And now that your body has been sufficiently prepared, it is time to start training in earnest.” he says, expression growing more serious as he vanishes his staff. Then his arms move, raising his right up to eye level, left at his waist as he brings his right elbow down, fist-out towards you while his left moves to just below his right elbow. Drawing his left up inside, bringing it over his right as he lowers that arm, left palm facing towards him as he braces his left bicep with his right hand. “Are you ready to begin?”

“Absolutely.” you reply, taking not your usual, more confident fighting stance with your arms spread wide in a gesture inviting attack. Instead you plant your feet, left out front and right back at a 90degree angle, knees bent as you raise your left arm, forearm vertical out before you as you pull your right in to your hip, loading up your right fist to strike. The very same fighting stance you learned from Karn back during your time training with him, all those years ago. And as you and Whis stare each other down, for just a moment you send a quiet 'thank you' to Karn for all he's done for you. For without him, you would never have embarked down this path to power. As you think of him, your friend and all the two of you have gone through, you do as he would have done in this situation. Exploding off the ground, you dash headlong at Whis, facing this challenge head-on and without hesitation! “SHYAAAAAA!!”

So either the gravity on Beerus's world is pretty damn high, or Frieza STILL had no stamina up to that point. Either way, interesting to see.
