With the Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa dethroned, the Demon God Dumplin beaten, and Karn's whole family now able to live in his timeline, things have been looking up for the Saiyan General. But all good things can't last forever. And when conflicts arise between deities, mortals are inevitably caught in the crossfire. Does Karn, the Berserker God possess the strength to protect his family, people, world and reality from their fickle nature? Or are the beings above mortal ken also beyond mortal reproach? This outcome may be up to you.You the players control Karn, wielder of the mighty Berserker Soul. Granting him the power to fight against gods and other divine beings, to resist their influence and strengths. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, only a few years into his time as a member of the PTO, he has now become the strongest Saiyan of his time. With the power of the Berserker God, combined with That Which Should Not Be and having devoured a soul born of the Abyss itself, his strength is now unlike anything before seen in his reality. But will this newfound strength be enough to overcome the threats headed his way? Only time will tell, your choices can spell the difference between success and failure.Character sheets and other info: https://controlc.com/46ec566dhttps://pastebin.com/u/GrandDragonQMArchive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=Saiyan+Conqueror+QuestHelp fund quest art commissions and get exclusive side stories as well as artwork here: https://www.patreon.com/GrandDragonQMQuest rules are as follows(unless otherwise noted):>30 minute vote times>Pick ONLY ONE option when voting>Dice rolls are all best of first three correctly-rolled dice>One dice roll per person per post unless three players have not yet rolled, and ten minutes has passed since your previous roll>Crits are 100 on a d100(a 99 or paired rolls may net you an extra bonus)>Crit fails are a 1/100 with no passing rolls, or if two 1s are rolled regardless of the third>Write-ins are both allowed and encouraged, but OOC options will be ignored>If your goal is simply to troll, at least put in enough effort to make it funny>Have funSCQ will usually start on Saturdays at noon Eastern Standard Time, and run throughout the weekend. >>5964863Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest: After meeting with Mechikabura and the new Supreme Kai of Time Aeos, Towa and your half-demon family getting added to your Time Scroll so as to not have to keep jumping through time, Maza then challenged King Vegeta IV for his throne. Despite being weaker than the half-demon, King Vegeta refused to quit, breaking Maza's will and emerging triumphant. Then, after his loss Karn took him to study under the Yardratian Elder Pybara, only to leave and discover the one causing planets to disappear is none other than Universe 6's Destroyer God Champa. After a brief scuffle, Karn surviving the deity's Hakai Beerus arrived, the two Destroyers arguing and eventually setting up a tournament between them. Where the winner gets Silver, Karn's longtime cook and friend. So, after gathering a team Karn begun training with Lord Freeza under Towa's guidance, putting everything he had for a week into becoming stronger. And now, as we rejoin Karn, it is time.“Well, here he is.” Freeza says, you turning to him. As you do, you feel the sudden appearance of three different, familiar ki signatures. Before you've even turned to your longtime friend, feel his father, brother, and Captain Ginyu suddenly appear. You see the trio suddenly appear past Freeza, King Cold standing tall, Captain Ginyu looking ready to go and Cooler simply there. “Captain.”“Lord Freeza!” Captain Ginyu shouts, immediately striking a pose. Getting up on his toes, arms out forward with a grin. “It is great to see you once again!”“And you, Captain. But, where are your team? Are the rest of your Force joining us?” he asks, clearly not sensing what you do.“Seven. Six.” you say, both Freeza and Ginyu turning to you. But you simply point up, continuing your count. “Five. Four. Three.”“Hey, there are ships up there!” Maz shouts as you keep counting, pointing up in the sky as the four pods begin breaking through the atmosphere.“Heh. Just like them to wait until the last minute.” Captain Ginyu replies as the ships drop down, crashing onto the mainland shore nearest your house as you say “Zero.”“But where's Chilli?” Chaya asks, looking around. “Want me to hop over and go get him?”“He'll be here, just be patient.” you reply to her confidently as the rest of the Ginyu Force all fly over, stopping as a group. Immediately they drop into their poses, their Captain joining them for the group pose. Only as you look their way see Towa suddenly look skyward. “What is it?”“They're here.” she says simply, a moment later that familiar beam of rainbow energy blazing out of the sky, landing on the edge of the island. But isn't it a lot bigger than usual?cont
>>5964865As the light of Whis's arrival fades, you see something quite unexpected. Instead of the angel with your wife, instead Whis stands atop a translucent cube, one with a goldish base and a leg in each corner touching the ground. From inside your wife steps out, and immediately you can tell something's... Different. It's only been a week, and yet the way she's moving, it seems like she's almost an entirely different fighter. But then you notice something else, something quite unexpected: you can barely feel her energy.“MOMMA!” Karn Jr shouts, flying over to her. Your wife smiles, catching him out of the air. To your surprise she doesn't plant her feet and brace herself, instead stepping into his flight and spinning him around once. Completely burning off his momentum without having to directly stop it. Her every movement is more fluid than ever, you wondering what she's been through? “I'm glad you're back!”“Always glad to be back. Good to see you.” says to him, the rest of your younger children all running over as you walk to her. From above, Whis calls out to everyone, a voice-amplifying device in his hand.“Now everyone, if you would please, the trip to our destination will take about two and a half hours and there won't be any stops. So, if you have any *ahem* biological business to take care of, now's the time.” he says, still sounding as carefree as ever as you approach your wife. She sets the younger twins down, turning to you with a wide grin.“Hey hun.” she says, taking two steps and jumping up into your arms. Catching your wife you hold her tiny body close, the familiar warmth of being in each others' presence warming your heart. “I missed you. Wow, you look a lot stronger. Been busy while I was away, huh?”“Right back at you.” you reply, the two of you sharing a kiss. Shutting out the rest of the world and simply enjoying being together. You then both pull away, you looking her up and down. “So, what have you been up to?”This gets a laugh, your wife flying around over the back of your head while still holding on, hanging off your back with her right cheek to the left side of your neck and jaw. Focusing your mind you reach out to him telepathically, sending him a quick message. “We're loading up now, everything okay son?”“Yeah, just ran into a small hiccup.” he answers, and for a flash you see a massive army of undead beings. “Give me about three more minutes.”“Understood.” you reply, ending the link and looking up to the angel. “Hey, Whis. Chilli will be here in another five minutes, can we wait that long?”“That shouldn't be a problem.” the angel answers you, then turning as King Cold asks him a question you don't hear.“What's going on?” Meloka asks you, not sounding worried but only curious. “Something going on?”“Yeah, he's got an undead army to deal with.” you say, Towa turning to you as you say this. She then turns, flying off back to your home. Immediately you realize what she's going after, knowing it will give him all the power he uses to quell that invasion back. “He didn't seem worried about it.”“I just hope he doesn't use too much power against them.” your wife replies, you both watching everyone load up into the ship. And as Towa finally emerges from the ship you sense your son's ki, but he's not alone. A moment later Chilli, along with his wife Megumin, their kids Meloka Wolbach and Kazuburo, and his apprentice Alimar Zorc suddenly appear before you.“Sorry about that.” he says, looking none the worse for wear. Yet, surprisingly his apprentice looks tired, the man's chest heaving. “Had a few undead to take care of before leaving.”“GRANDPA! GRANDMA!!” Meloka Wolbach and Kazuburo shout, both leaping off the ground and out of Megumin's arms at you. Meloka flies off your back, catching your grandson as you stop your granddaughter's powerful charge. She looks up at you, wide grin on her face. “Tehe, I missed you grandpa! You haven't come to visit all week!”“Sorry, sorry. But I was busy getting ready for today.” you tell her. “I had to get even stronger before the tournament.”“You got even stronger?” she asks, big eyes going wider in awe. “I didn't know you could get stronger!”“You can always get stronger.” you tell her seriously. And if you aren't, someone else will be doing so instead.”“Hohoho, indeed. I learned that lesson myself.” Freeza says, your granddaughter turning to him. “Uncle Freeza!”cont
>>5964929Your granddaughter flies over to him, the former emperor catching her. As he looks at her he smiles, you turning to your son.“Are you alright?” you ask him seriously as Towa walks up, one of those energy-enhancing bars in hand.“I'm fine, Alimar here's getting pretty good at larger-scale conflict.” your son says, gesturing to the young man. Who, despite looking tired, doesn't seem injured at all. “Another year or so, and I reckon I would be able to leave the village's defense in his hands when needed.”“I-Y-You really think so?” he asks, eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. “I'll do my best!”“Everyone still coming, please board the vessel now.” Whis calls, you all turning to him. “We'd better hurry, I don't want to leave Lord Beerus waiting.”“Let's go.” you say, walking over to the cube and stepping up onto it. Surprisingly, your foot and then the rest of you simply moves through it, the barrier around it not tangible. You aren't quite sure what it is, but before you can ponder it much longer everyone else goes inside as well.“Alright, now everyone. Keep your arms and legs inside the barrier at all times until we stop.” Whis says, tapping his staff against the barrier's roof. Somehow. His rainbow light then engulfs the entire thing, the cube-like transporter containing you all flying up with the angel as you blast out of the star system almost instantly, passing through the dark void of space into a realm of light.“Woah.” you say, looking around in awe. You aren't quite sure what happened, and the transporter still seems to be moving quite fast, yet you have no idea where you all are now. Your ki sense doesn't pick up anything outside the cube itself, leaving you wondering what's going on. But, before you can ponder on it too long, Freeza approaches.“I do believe it is time.” he says, bringing Captain Ginyu with him. “Now that we are all gathered, I believe that it's best we decide our order.”“Order?” Chilli asks him.“Yes. The fight is a single elimination, however the winner of the previous round remains standing. First team to lose all five fighters is disqualified.” Freeza answers. “So, who should take point? And who should be anchor?”Well? What do you think? This is actually a tough one. Does anyone have a good strategy for team order or would we be good with anything? Karn is usually a good heavy hitter, and Meloka's specialties are more in line with energy and divine power. Chilli can probably pull some bullshit, and I feel like he'd be useful to sniff out any cheating that's being done.
>>5964931>You want to see the results of Meloka's training, let her take first then yourself second, Chilli Ginyu then FreezaThink this the most balanced order
>>5964945First up is a tough pick, there's really no wrong answer I feel. That said, I know for a fact I want Frieza as our anchor.Don't get me wrong, Meloka and and Chilli are also both incredibly creative and would do well with more time to study whoever beats Karn and/or Ginyu, but Frieza's got that innate instinct for spotting weaknesses and ruthlessly exploiting them. I also think Meloka works well enough as an opener. The first impression she gives is also gonna be the first impression for Saiyans from our Universe. Besides Hit, they might all think we're naturally inclined towards ranged attacks and channeling Divinity. When those gullible enough to assume that figure out otherwise, it'll be far too late for them to adjust.

If someone manages to take me out, I know you'll have figured out how to beat them.” you say, turning fully to face Chilli. “As long as you keep your head and don't kill them, you'll do just fine.”“Guess that means I'll take the fourth slot, right Lord Freeza?” Captain Ginyu asks, the former emperor nodding. “It will be good to have you on anchor.”“Well, they say to never lead with your strongest. But I fear that there isn't a 'weakest' here to start with.” Freeza says, you seeing your son turn to him, jaw slightly agape. Seeing your son's reaction, Freeza scoffs. “What? Did you think that just because you are physically weaker than your father or I that we underestimate your strength? I have seen you kill a god, do not think any one here treats you lightly.”“I...I understand. Thank you, Lord Freeza.” Chilli says, giving his former emperor a humble bow.“You need to have more faith in yourself!” Chaya says, walking over and slapping her brother on the back between his shoulder blades, one of Vox's floating cameras flying around her head. “And if you don't believe in you, believe in all of us who believe in you! I know better than everyone else here how strong you are in a one-on-one fight after all.”“Faith, huh?” he replies with a wry smile, Chaya giving him a cheeky grin.“So, you're the recluse.” Cooler says, having walked over and looking your son up and down. You see Freeza's brother's eye twitch, body tensing as the two stare each other down. Cooler is a lot of things, but he knows a dangerous man when he sees one. “Yes, I believe you'll do. When Karn wanted to bring one of his children along I was...Skeptical. But I think you're just what our team needs. The God of Destruction notices this, his eyebrow twitching as he steps up into the cube as well.“Whis, let's go. You're already running a minute late.” he says, not acknowledging you all immediately.”“Of course, Lord Beerus.” the angel replies, the cube immediately taking back off, blurring through space into that bright white void from before.“Well now, what's all this? The tournament is five-on-five, not fifty.” Beerus says, King Cold raising his head and speaking.“We brought spectators, to witness our victory. And, to watch your brother's defeat.” he says, Beerus grinning maliciously at this.“Heh, watching my brother squirm is always enjoyable.” he answers, then turns to you and Meloka. Walking directly up to you, looking you over. “Are you ready?”“Absolutely. We all are.” you reply, gesturing to your wife and son, as well as to Freeza and Ginyu. “With the five of us, we can't lose.”“Hrmmm.” Beerus says, looking from Chilli to you and back, then addressing your son directly. “You're the only one I can't figure out. Why did they pick you?”“For my powers with magic, as a disciple of Lord Jergal.” Chilli answers, the Destroyer bringing a hand to his chin as he ponders. Muttering the name Jergal over and over, until his eyes suddenly widen.“Hold on. Lord Jergal. THE Lord Jergal, the Final Scribe?” Beerus asks, sounding shocked. “You're a Reaper?”“Yes, Lord Beerus. But you don't have to worry, I know the rules. I won't kill anyone from your brother's universe.” your son answers, Beerus shaking his head.“No no, don't make promises you might not be able to keep. After all, lord only knows who or what my brother's managed to wrangle up.” Beerus tells him. “I won't interfere in Lord Jergal's business, but if he causes me to lose this match with my brother I would take offense. So, if you're going to do your job, wait until AFTER we've won.”“I understand.” your son replies, bowing to the Destroyer. “I will do my best.”“You do that. While you're sure there are no hard feelings, you'd never actually told your friends where you'd gone. So, you turn to Captain Ginyu, reaching out telepathically.“Hey, mind walking with me a bit?” you ask, the captain turning to you with a brow raised. “Need to talk.”“Sure thing.” he replies, also telepathically. The two of you leave the rest of the competitors, making your way through the crowd over to the rest of the Ginyu Force.“Ey Capt'n, how's yer meetin' go?” Jeice calls, then sees you with him. “Ayy, General! Good t'see ya mate! 'Ow've ya been?”“Been doing well, sorry about dipping out on you all after that last mission.” you say to them all. “Got called in for the biggest fight of my life.”“Oh, don't worry yourself about that, General.” Recoome says with a pose. “We know where you went, and what you've done for us.”“Yeah. I'd rather not get involved with that time nonsense.” Burter replies. “I still remember what happened at your wedding party.”“Fortunately, that was hopefully the last time.” you tell him. “Now that Chronoa's out and Mechikabura's got a new Time Kai, hopefully we won't have any more problems out of other timelines.”“Oh, now yew've dun it.” Jeice says, you turning to him. “Ya done gone an' jinxed it. They are both incredibly powerful, moreso than even you. Why weren't they allowed to participate?” Recoome asks you seriously. “With their power, should either have your transformation they would dwarf even Lord Cooler's strength.”“Yes, but beings from other timelines weren't allowed to participate in this contest.” you tell him. “But I'm just glad that they're able to stay in this timeline now.”“I'd say. Can't imagine bein' separated from me girls loike that.” Jeice comments, looking down at his left hand. Where you notice a bulge under his left glove, no doubt the man's own wedding ring.“Speaking of, how are they doing?” you ask him, Jeice's face lighting up. He tells you about how his daughter's team won the junior league, his little girl striking out the other team's best batter for the game. The rest of the force all tell you what they've been up to, from Recoome teaching others the basics of fitness to Burter's intense speed training, enjoying this time with your allies. You even learn that Ginyu can not only split himself apart, but can split off from a feeling like exhaustion, manifesting it physically so it is no longer a part of him.cont
>>5965218“Useful in a pinch, but because of that I won't be at one hundred percent power today.” he tells you. “But mental acuity is a far greater asset than slightly bigger powerlevel.”“I'd agree with that entirely.” you reply, remembering back to how many stronger fighters you've overcome in your time. Or how many stronger beings you simply survived by fighting smarter with everything you had. From the first Arbiter you eventually killed to Lord Beerus himself, you've been through quite a lot. But then, suddenly, you all feel the 'ship' you're in feel like it is slowing down. Exiting the white dimension, coming back into reality. Only to see a magnificent sight.“Woah...” you mutter, unable to find any other words. Several massive, glowing orbs hover around a reddish, crater-marked world, each one a brilliant shining orange. You notice there are several stars on each of them, the stars all facing towards you as you approach the planet. Stunned by the power you can feel from them all, the orbs all being in such close proximity radiating with some sort of unfamiliar power as Whis' craft continues slowing.“Alright everyone, we have arrived to the Nameless Planet, where this tournament is to be held.” Whis says, you all flying over the planet until finding a dome-shaped barrier. It is seemingly made of the same substance as the shields of the craft you all are arriving in, as the entire ship passes through it without so much as a ripple.“Hrmm. For a tournament of such prestige, you'd think a Destroyer wouldn't have skimped out on the decoration.” Freeza says with a hint of disdain as he sees the rather utilitarian setup. Two long, stone-seeming bleachers line two sides of the arena, a portrait of each Beerus and Champa hang above the stage. “For once you and I are in agreement, Freeza.” Beerus says to him, then turns his attention to Whis. Floating up and out of the craft, standing beside the angel. “Hey, Whis. Do you think you can do something about this?”“What, are my accommodations not up to your oh-so lofty standards, brother?” Champa says. “What, is this not 'good enough' for you?”“Of course.” Whis answers, not acknowledging Champa as the angel waves his staff. “I always do enjoy redecorating.”You all watch as some sort of particles are released from the staff, drifting over the pairs of stands and converting them into more of those same particles. Only for them to reform into floating platforms, with the largest platform on the left.“Now, that's more like it.” Beerus says with a grin. “Honestly, you should be ashamed of yourself, not offering proper accommodations to your guests. We traveled quite a ways to get here, don't you know.”“Grrrrr!” Champa growls through gritted teeth, then speaking behind his hand to his angel. “Vados, you're making me look bad! Why didn't you make it fancy, I know you can do better than stone.”cont
>>5965220“Sir, it would be disrespectful for an artist to make a piece of work their patron could not understand nor appreciate.” Vados says with that same sass you remember from her before, Whis speaking.“That's my older sister for you.” he says, tone approving as Beerus chuckles.“Yes, she was just trying to operate on your level. You should thank your attendant for being so well-heeled.”“GRRRRRR! GWRRRR!” Champa growls through gritted teeth, growing angrier and angrier by the second. King Cold, surprisingly, is the one to break the tension.“Everyone who is not participating, let us move and allow Whis to set the transporter down.” he orders, the Ginyu Force all posing behind him as he speaks. “We shall take to our seating. Best of luck, warriors of the seventh.”Then, without waiting for anyone else he steps through the transport's shield, floating over to the grassy atoll platform and taking its highest point for himself. The rest of your side follow suit, everyone wishing you all luck. Towa, however, stops by you.“Be careful. Hit is the most dangerous one, don't drop your guard.” she whispers in your ear as she hugs you, then steps back. “Not even for a tenth of a second.”“Don't worry, I won't lose.” you reply, wondering for a moment why she was so specific. Tucking that little bit of information away for later, you then see that, while Champa and Beerus bicker, that the Supreme Kai and his attendants, as well as the elderly Kai have also arrived. Rolled 35, 36 = 71 (2d100)>>5965266My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104. This is my confession. If you're watching this tape, I'm probably dead, murdered by my brother-in-law Hank Schrader. Hank has been building a meth empire for over a year now and using me as his chemist. Shortly after my 50th birthday, Hank came to me with a rather, shocking proposition. He asked that I use my chemistry knowledge to cook methamphetamine, which he would then sell using his connections in the drug world. Connections that he made through his career with the DEA. I was... astounded, I... I always thought that Hank was a very moral man and I was... thrown, confused, but I was also particularly vulnerable at the time, something he knew and took advantage of. I was reeling from a cancer diagnosis that was poised to bankrupt my family. Hank took me on a ride along, and showed me just how much money even a small meth operation could make. And I was weak. I didn't want my family to go into financial ruin so I agreed. Every day, I think back at that moment with regret. I quickly realized that I was in way over my head, and Hank had a partner, a man named Gustavo Fring, a businessman. Hank essentially sold me into servitude to this man, and when I tried to quit, Fring threatened my family. I didn't know where to turn. Eventually, Hank and Fring had a falling out. From what I can gather, Hank was always pushing for a greater share of the business, to which Fring flatly refused to give him, and things escalated. Fring was able to arrange, uh I guess I guess you call it a "hit" on my brother-in-law, and failed, but Hank was seriously injured, and I wound up paying his medical bills which amounted to a little over $177,000. Upon recovery, Hank was bent on revenge, working with a man named Hector Salamanca, he plotted to kill Fring, and did so. In fact, the bomb that he used was built by me, and he gave me no option in it. I have often contemplated suicide, but I'm a coward. I wanted to go to the police, but I was frightened. Hank had risen in the ranks to become the head of the Albuquerque DEA, and about that time, to keep me in line, he took my children from me. For 3 months he kept them. My wife, who up until that point, had no idea of my criminal activities, was horrified to learn what I had done, why Hank had taken our children. We were scared. I was in Hell, I hated myself for what I had brought upon my family. Recently, I tried once again to quit, to end this nightmare, and in response, he gave me this. I can't take this anymore. I live in fear every day that Hank will kill me, or worse, hurt my family. I... All I could think to do was to make this video in hope that the world will finally see this man, for what he really is.

You think Champa is having second thoughts on his team after seeing how many Saiyans his brother brought along?
>>5965283I think he'll be more concerned when he realizes his saiyans can't transform
>>5965222You stand there, listening to the two Destroyers arguing a moment longer before you've had enough. So, without hesitation you leap up into the air, flying over to them. Not getting directly between them, but within eyesight of both Destroyers.“Hey, are we going to do this? Or did we all gather here to watch you two bicker?” you ask, both Destroyers turning towards you. Scowls on their face, you feel the anger of both deities directed right at you, wishing for a moment that you'd ascended into your Berserker God form first. “Wouldn't the fastest way to prove whose right be to allow us to get to the fighting?”“Heh. So impatient. But I agree, bickering will get us nowhere.” Beerus says, the first to regain his calm. Surprisingly Champa takes a deep breath as well, regaining his composure too.“Vados, I'll leave getting the formalities out of the way to you.” Champa says, flying over to the platforms on the right as Beerus and Whis go to the near-identical one on the right.“Right then. Karn, your competitors from Universe 7, please follow me.” Vados then says, flying past you to the cube. “Ah, but first please leave all weapons and tools here in the craft. For this tournament there are to be no weapons or tools.”“Understood.” Chilli says, his sword and staff covering themselves in crystal before the crystals shatter, revealing the weapons have vanished.“And you aren't allowed to CALL any weapons to yourself mid-battle either.” she says, no doubt understanding how his powers work. “This is to be a martial arts competition, only your natural abilities will be allowed. No outside help from other deities.”“Don't worry, I wasn't planning on asking Lord Jergal to interfere.” your son replies to her as you land, dropping your sword and hammer, as well as unsheathing your boot knife Chilli'd made you.Disarmed, you all follow her across the arena, over to the highest platform and landing at the bottom step walks up. You all follow her, cresting the platform to get your first good look at Champa's fighters. Immediately you notice the giant metal man and the yellow ursine creatures, but then notice a plain-seeming young humanoid, as well as a being who reminds you of Freeza. In his first form at least, you seeing your friend freeze up upon seeing another of his kind. But your attention quickly focuses on the more unassuming being. His power isn't the strongest or the most familiar feeling, but you get the feeling that he's dangerous. Moreso than anyone else from that team.“So, you will be our competition?” Freeza asks, stepping fully up onto the platform and giving the other fighters a mocking bow. “Please, do your best to entertain us. Unfortunately, I doubt any of you will get to see me participate myself in this little game, but do please do your best to entertain us all.”cont
>>5965325“My my, quite the arrogant tone you have.” the Freeza lookalike says, opening his eyes and looking your Freeza up and down. But seems surprised to see him, perhaps he was like Freeza when you met him and unable to control his power in his fourth form? “Although, it would seem to not be entirely without merits.”Wordlessly the young humanoid rises up out of his seat, walking directly over to you, Meloka, and Chilli.“Sorry, this may seem like a strange question, but are the three of you Saiyans?” the young-seeming man asks directly. “My name is Cabba, of the Sixth Universe.”“Yes, I take it you are one as well?” you answer, the man barely taller than Meloka and Chilli turning up to face you. “But where is your tail? Don't tell me someone took it.”“Tail? What do you-Wait, why do you all have tails?”“I see, so Saiyans from your universe don't have tails. But, then, how do you turn into Oozaru?” Chilli asks, this Cabba turning his focus to your son.“Oozaru? What is that, I've never heard of such a thing.” he answers, the boy seeming honest enough. But, before you can get any more answers from him, Vados speaks up once again.“Boys, do you mind? We do have a written exam to get to.” Vados says, you all taking seats seemingly sized for each of you. On each one is a blank page, but as she taps her staff on the ground a writing tool appears beside it, as well as words you recognize. “What you see before you are simple questions designed to ensure you possess the most basic degree of intelligence. You have ten minutes to complete the test, score higher than fifty points and you pass.”As she finishes her sentence you hear a burst of steam, turning to see a pillar of it jetting out of the top of the robot man's head. Surprised that it wasn't Ginyu, as the sound was quite similar, you turn your focus back to the exam. The questions are simple enough, at first, but as you keep going the questions get more and more difficult. They start adding in wordplay, trying to get you to write down a careless answer before finishing the question, but you read each and every one before answering. The ten minutes pass in silence, Vados then tapping her staff on the ground. The test wraps up, everyone passing well enough to get into the tournament.“Very well, fighters rejoin your deities and decide the order in which your contestants will fight.” she says, tapping her staff again and disappearing all the seats. You all fly over to Beerus, telling him and Whis the order you'll fight in. Which surprises the angel, Whis turning to Meloka.“Are you sure about this? You know if you use THAT, you won't have enough power to keep fighting, right?” he asks her, making you even more curious what he's talking about. What new power has your wife discovered?cont
>>5965326Whis, hearing you all say the order, waves his staff as Vados does hers, the sign with the markings lighting up. It shows all of the competitors' pictures, and from what you can tell of your own team discover the order of Champa's. First is the yellow bear creature, then their Freeza counterpart, then the metal man. Fourth is their Saiyan, Cabba, and fifth is the strange warrior. From the corner of your eye see Champa raise his hand, feeling his power gather as he fires a small blast up into the air. Striking a metal plate, it making a deep gonging noise.“Lllllladies and gentlemen, thank you for your incredible patience!” a tiny, green-skinned alien wearing black and red shouts into a microphone. “The Sixth and Seventh Universes' invitational, the Tournament of Destroyers, will now begin! So hold onto your hats and get ready for the show! Now, for the singing of the joint universal anthem!”“The what now?” you mutter as the lights go dark, a single light from the sky lighting up a strange, pink creature wearing a red bow around its neck. Music begins playing from somewhere, everyone looking to the creature.“Uuu-chuuu teee heee-roiiiii!” the creature sings in a surprisingly deep voice, holding the final note for several seconds. The lights then cut back on, the tiny being bowing. “Thank you very much.”“That was beautiful, thank you!” the announcer calls as the being vanishes in a puff of smoke, leaving you dumbstruck for a second. “Aaaaand now, the first match will begin!” he calls, pointing up to the board. “Representing Universe Six, contestant Botamo! And representing Universe 7, Meloka! Contestants, please enter the ring.”“Give em hell hun.” you say, your wife giving you a quick hug and kiss before leaping down, landing opposite the yellow creature. It seems confident, far too confident for how relatively weak he seems. Perhaps he's suppressing his power? Or maybe he can't sense ki?“Kick his ass Mom!!” Chaya cheers, causing your other children to cheer her on as well. But what now? >>5965328“Come on Mom, you've got this.” you think to yourself, looking down at your mother below. With her arms crossed she looks rather tiny before the hulking creature, yet you can sense that his power is nothing special. You could probably toss him out without having to go any higher than a Super Saiyan yourself, but something about the creature's overwhelming confidence is unnerving. Can he not sense ki? Or does he possess the power to actually beat her?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyNxv1fSzdk“Now, before we begin, a quick review of the rules.” the announcer says. “If you land on the ground around the arena, surrender, or are unable to rise for a ten-count, you are disqualified! Weapons, healing items, and other items to enhance ones abilities is forbidden. As is killing your opponent. Now, with that out of the way, let the first match! BEGIN!!”Both Beerus and Champa fire beams into the gong simultaneously, it ringing out. You watch as he raises his arms by his sides, bouncing up and down on his toes while your mother takes her lowered fighting stance. He doesn't advance, bouncing up and down faster and faster in place. Then, all of a sudden the rotund bear launches itself high into the air, flying all the way up into the dome and bouncing off, launching himself down at your mother with blinding speed.“What?” she says, leaping aside as the bear's belly lands where she'd been standing a moment ago. It then ricochets off the ground, flying off at a different angle. Right at the platform you all are on.“Shit!” you say, worried that it will hit you all. However, he then strikes a barrier around the platform you'd not seen before, bouncing back up into the air. “Huh?”“Don't worry, each platform is protected from events going on inside the arena.” Whis says, you turning to the Destroyer's attendant. “Even from something as devastating as someone opening a black hole up in the middle of the ring won't disturb those on the platforms.”“I see. Good to know.” you answer, seeing the smug look he gives you meaning he knew about your technique before you turn back to the fight. Where your mother isn't even looking at the bear pinballing about, standing with her eyes closed. But that's when you realize that you can no longer sense her energy! “Ah-!”Despite standing in the center of the large square arena, you can't sense anything from her at all. Yet she hasn't transformed into her Super Saiyan God state either, what is going on? As you try and figure it out you then see the bear's next bounce will send him straight down at her from behind, but somehow get the feeling she's anticipating it. And, sure enough, as the bear bounces one last time and flies down at your mother, suddenly she turns, orb of ki held in her right.cont
>>5965411“Fall.” Meloka says, leaping into the air even faster than the bear is dropping. Before it can realize what's happening she fires a powerful beam into it, angled directly down at the planet for a simple ring-out victory. However, as her beam strikes the creature, the oddest thing happens. The energy that strikes it seems to simply... Vanish.”“WHAT?” your father exclaims, sounding shocked. Even your mother looks stunned as her attack doesn't slow the bear down, much less divert its course. It flies unscathed through her blast, bouncing off the arena and back up at her. Meloka dodging at the last moment. “What the hell was that?”“I don't understand, did her attack not hit him?” you ask your father as Meloka drops back to the ground, evading the rotund yellow bear as it continues bouncing about.“It hit, but the moment her energy hit him, it vanished. your father tells you, frowning. “Almost like her energy was destroyed, or sent elsewhere.”“A damage negation technique. Now, that could prove quite troublesome.” Freeza mutters. “No wonder the weakling seemed so confident.”You all watch as your mother continues evading the bear's pinballing before finally coming to a stop, landing lightly on his feet.“Heh heh, tell you what. Give me your best shot.” he taunts her, gesturing her to attack with his right hand's fingers. But your mother doesn't take the bait, instead smirking at him.“Watch your step.” she says, when suddenly a wave of energy you can't sense fires up at the bear from below. Vaporizing the arena beneath him, but still not damaging the creature itself. However, without ground to stand on it suddenly starts to fall, reaching out and catching the sides of the hole before it can fall through. At the same time your mother charges, blitzing him and flipping forward into a devastating axe kick. This fight's over. “HAAAAAA!”But as her kick strikes him, the oddest thing happens: nothing. The being doesn't react to the kick at all, still struggling to pull himself up out of the hole your mother had seemingly made.“What IS he?” your father mutters as Meloka leaps back, Botamo rising out of the hole with a scowl.“Cheap trick. But that won't beat me, PTOOEY!” he shouts, firing a ball of bright green ki from his mouth. The slow-moving blast is easy for her to dodge, Meloka flipping and spinning past the barrage as she gets her distance. “PTOOEY PTOOEY PTOOEY!!”“Yes, that's right! Show the Seventh why you're the best, Botamo!” Champa cheers, yet as your mother backs up, you get the feeling that this fight's almost over. Which is proven right a second later, as one of his blasts passes right through your mother! Or, rather, an Afterimage she'd left behind.cont
>>5965412“Got you.” she says, appearing at his feet with both hands around the bear's right ankle.“Huh?” he exclaims, your mother pulling him off-balance and onto his back. Then, with little ceremony drags him to the edge, tossing him off onto the ground. “Wh-What?”“Contestant Botamo is out of bounds! The winner is contestant Meloka!” the announcer declares, your siblings cheering her on as you look to the other Destroyer. He seems completely stunned, eyes wide with shock. On the display you then see the bear's icon grey out, your mother still standing on the edge of the ring.“Whaaaaaat?! No fair, she cheated! Rematch, rematch!!” Champa cries out, sounding like a spoiled child wanting dessert before supper.“I'm sorry sir, but the match is over. Botamo lost fair and square.” the announcer shouts, Champa's dark, sinister aura suddenly blazing up around him as he glares down at the tiny man.“I said it's not over, contradict me again and I'll destroy you.” Champa threatens, you hearing your father's muscles tense up. For a split second you're worried he's going to attack the Destroyer, before Beerus speaks up from behind you.“Shaddup Champa! During a tournament, the referee outranks even us Destroyers!” he calls, you glancing back to see him sitting completely relaxed, eyes even closed. Whis then leans in, whispering just loud enough for you to hear him.“My lord, do you truly believe that?” Whis asks, Beerus shaking his head.“Of course not, don't be ridiculous.” Beerus replies, voice also low. But his taunt seems to have done the trick, Champa cooling off a bit.“Now, for our next contestant from the Sixth Universe, contestant Frost!” the announcer calls out, the one who looks like Freeza rising up to his feet.“Well then, looks like it's my turn.” this Frost says, leaping off the Destroyer's platform and to the arena below. “It is a pleasure to meet you. Your performance was exemplary. Before we commence, I want you to know I consider it an honor to match up with a warrior of such aptitude. Let's have a good, fair fight.”“Y-Sure, alright.” your mother answers, shaking the offered hand. He then walks past her, addressing your family and allies in the stands.“Ladies and gentlemen of the seventh universe, it is a shame we must gather here today with an us versus them mentality.” he says grandly, Freeza rolling his eyes. “Thankfully this is but a tournament. I believe that no matter who wins, at day’s end we’ll all be able to shake hands and say ‘That sir was a fair game well-fought.’ So, sit back and enjoy the contest between myself and your champion Meloka. Thank you for your time.”Then, without waiting for an answer returns to his side of the arena, your mother looking at him confused while Freeza scoffs at this. You turning to him, curious.cont
>>5965416“What, don't tell me you believe his drivel?” Freeza asks you, turning his gaze from you back to the other universe's warrior. “Come now, tell me you cannot be that naive? After everything?”“What do you mean?” you ask him, not sure what he means. Freeza turning back to you, but before he can speak your father answers.“He's false. I can feel his ill intent from here.” he says, which is rather... Ominous. “Whatever this 'Frost's game is, he could be troublesome. Especially if he has unlocked his Golden form.”“I doubt we have to worry about that. He's in his weakest state, meaning he lacks the control to maintain his full power.” Freeza replies as the announcer starts the next match, the gong ringing as Beerus and Champa shoot it idly once more. “Without that level of control, even if he COULD use the Golden form, it would last minutes at best.”“That won't be a problem.” your father says confidently. “She won't lose.”The two begin fighting, your mother easily besting Frost's first form. After a minute or so of fighting she seems to grow tired of it, kicking Frost back and sending him sliding across the arena. Narrowly avoiding a fall, as he kicks off the far edge into the air.“You're quite the powerful warrior. I doubt that I can best you like this.” Frost says, clenching his fists. But, before he can begin transforming, she calls to him.“Tell you what, you quit holding back and go all-out. And I'll match your power.” she offers. “None of this cycling through all your forms to gauge my power, give me everything you've got.”“Heh, very well. I'll show you my best! SHYAAAAAAAA!!” Frost roars, transforming. However, it doesn't look like any transformation you've ever seen, his head growing oblong with horns on the sides, his face squished mostly flat. “Here's what you wanted, my full power!”But your mother seems... Disappointed, sighing out and hanging her head. When she looks back up at him, her expression almost looks sad.“If THAT is the best you've got, I've been overestimating you.” she says, surprising the warrior as she sighs out, dropping her guard. “Let's get this over with then.”“Don't take me lightly!” Frost shouts, purple aura blazing as he shoots down towards her.But what do you do?>Ask Freeza what that form is, you've never seen anything like it>Ask your dad why Frost is holding back so much, is he underestimating her because he can't sense her divine ki either?>Telepathically reach out to your mother, tell her to be careful. Twisting her body, slamming him down into the arena floor. The impact is massive, shock wave blasting out and striking the invisible forcefield around each of the floating platforms. Making them temporarily visible, but still translucent. “But he doesn't stand a chance.”She then ends the mental link, grabbing Frost by the ankle and launching him skyward. She then blitzes past him, lacing her fingers together and slamming them square into his back.“Gyaaaaah!?” Frost cries out in pain, your mother's attack sending him down to the ground outside the ring. But he reaches out, grabbing the edge of the arena with his fingertips. Frost barely catches the side, the momentum of Meloka's attack sending his body slamming into the side of the ring hard enough to form a crater. Yet you have to appreciate his tenacity, still holding on despite the impact. He has resolve, if nothing else.“Huh.” your mother says, flying down and landing several feet away from him. “Not bad. I hadn't thought you'd been able to reach, so I'll give you another shot.”“Ngggg! Kaah!” Frost exclaims, letting out pained noises as he pulls himself up onto the arena shakily.“You have one more chance. Show me your REAL power, your full strength.” she says, glaring at him with crossed arms. “Otherwise I'm ringing you out with my next attack, so there's no point trying to conserve power for your later matches.”“You seem to have me mistaken. I haven't been holding out my full power for later matches, nor in an inflated sense of my own abilities.” Frost says, shakily getting his balance. “I've only used this form once before. And after that fateful duel, I've kept this lethal power locked away ever since. But you, Meloka. I believe in you I've found someone who can withstand its full, destructive power! SHYAAAAAAAAAAA!!”“HRRRRRRYAAAAAAAAH!!” he roars, disappearing inside his violet aura. You feel his powerlevel spike, rising considerably. He surpasses your own power near-instantly, rising up past your own Super Saiyan strength as well. If you were to be fighting him, you'd have to Ascend to be stronger than him as he is now. And, as the light fades, Frost reveals his fourth form. “Please, do not hold what happens next against me.”“Well, if this is all you've got, I guess I'll show you a taste of my power.” your mother says, standing back up to her full height and crossing her arms. Yet, he seems somehow unimpressed, closing his eyes back after a moment. Once again you wonder what kind of power he possesses, as his power is still heavily suppressed.“Wh-What is this power?” Frost asks, taking an uneasy step back. “What ARE you?”“Heh. This is the form I fought against Lord Beerus with.” she says as her aura begins expanding and turning more and more transparent, quickly engulfing the entire interior of the dome. “This is Super Saiyan God.”“WHAT?! Did she just say she fought BEERUS?!!” Champa screams, turning back to Vados. “Tell me I'm dreaming!”“Oh my.” Vados says simply, your mother standing there relaxed as she faces down Freeza's alternate universe counterpart. “This could prove troublesome.”“Do your best.” Meloka says, not taking her stance and simply staring down Frost. “I'll try not to break you, but there's no shame if you stand down now. My power is on a level you can't comprehend.”“Get back on your feet, and never surrender!” Frost says, taking a fighting stance ready to charge forward. “The same advice I give my war orphans is the same advice that will carry me through today!”Frost charges, launching into a fierce barrage of punches and kicks. His speed and power is impressive, his attack would have put you on the back foot if not completely overwhelmed you. Yet your mother doesn't even move, not flinching as he attacks. Despite his best efforts he cannot even so much as budge your mother, attacking for a solid twenty seconds. Then, suddenly his fist passes through your mother, passing through her afterimage with a stunned look on his face.“Wh-?!” he starts, your mother slipping her left arm up behind his neck, locking the choke in with her right arm clamping on her left wrist. “Glrk!”“It's over. Sleep.” she says, tightening the choke gently. You see the strain on Frost's face as she picks him up, carrying him by his neck as she flies toward the nearest edge. He tries pulling her arm away, but it's no use, then in desperation tries to swing back at her with his right. He can't even get a good angle, seemingly pressing his forearm to her face, rubbing it back and forth.cont
>>5965513https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hcwo7BuK-1kWhen, suddenly, your mother stops. Her eyes widen, tightening her grip for a moment before, in a surge of strength, Frost breaks free! But you can immediately tell something's wrong, your mother dropping down to a knee. Holding her cheek with her right hand, leaving herself completely vulnerable. Frost lands on all fours, taking a moment to regain his breath before rising, turning and seeing Meloka's down.“Now's my chance!” he shouts, blasting towards her. Only for Freeza to appear, catching Frost's foot with one hand. “What?!”“Huh?” you say, only for the shock wave of him blasting off to slam into you, knocking you over and nearly off the platform yourself. Scrambling, you pull yourself back up onto the stage, just in time to watch Freeza grab Frost's right arm just below the elbow. Then, releasing his leg Freeza chops his ARM OFF with his right, Frost screaming in pain and recoiling back!“WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Beerus roars, his voice slightly terrified but mostly angry.“Cheater! That's interfering in the match, they're both disqualified!” Champa roars with righteous fury, turning to the announcer. “Disqualify them both, ri-!”“Now now, are you so sure you wish to be so hasty, Destroyer of the Sixth?” Freeza asks him, pointing his way with Frost's arm as Frost himself lay on the ground, screaming and clutching the stump of his arm. “Because your fighter cheated first.”“WHAT?! You DARE accuse one of MY fighters for cheating! I should Destroy you for that!” Champa declares, leveling his right palm down as Freeza tosses the stump of an arm over at the announcer.“Check that arm. On the opposite of the palm-side, you will find a needle of some sort.” Freeza says as your father, now beside your mother kneels down, asking if she's okay. “Frost just tried to and successfully poisoned Meloka.”“What a baseless accusation!” Champa shouts, still sounding more offended that he'd been called a cheater than about what Freeza did to his fighter. “How dare-!”“How about I make you a deal? If the referee over there doesn't find the needle, then I'll allow you to do your best to destroy me.” Freeza says, putting his right hand to his chest. “But if I'm right, then I am to face no penalty for this action.”“Tch! GRRRRRR! REF! Check that arm thoroughly!” Champa shouts after a moment. “Double check it if you have to, but I don't want Beerus crying when he loses two.... Huh?”And as the referee had been running his hands over the arm, suddenly he'd gotten woozy just like your mother had, collapsing onto his back. Unconscious.“WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!”cont
>>5965514“It would seem that I was correct.” Freeza says, using his telekinesis to pull Frost's severed arm over to him, looking it over himself. Then, after a couple moments drops the arm, leaving a tiny needle coated in some sort of purple fluid hanging in the air. “A poisoned needle. Seriously? You disgust me.”Freeza then turns to Frost, who, like your mother is starting to rise. But Freeza wastes no time, blurring to his alternate universe counterpart and thrusting the needle directly into his forehead. Frost falls, either dead or unconscious as Freeza then glares back up at Champa.“So, this is how you planned to win? Pitiful.” Freeza says, turning his back on the other Destroyer. Who, veins bulging on his head has had enough, leveling his right hand at Freeza.“I've had enough! HAKAI!” Champa roars, clearly intending on Destroying Freeza. However, before he can, before anyone else can react, there's another voice that calls out.“Whis!” Beerus says urgently, there is the sound of a staff tapping the ground and suddenly everything outside the platform you're on stops. Not only stops, but starts moving backwards. What in the world is going on? You turn, seeing Whis glaring intently at the actions going on below.“What is this?” you ask, watching the scene below undoing itself, everyone going back to how they were before things went sideways.“You didn't think you were the only one who could affect time besides the Supreme Kai of Time, did you?” Whis asks, looking quite smug as he smiles at you. “This is my Temporal Do-Over. One of the few methods of true time travel. I shall reverse time up to right before Frost poisoned your mother, but how should we proceed? Leaving things up to Freeza certainly didn't work.”“You. Karn's boy. You just saw how things played out.” Beerus tells you, sounding deadly serious. “Now that you know what's about to happen, how are you going to prevent it?”Well? What do you do?>Use your telekinesis the moment time resumes, hold Frost's arm out so that he can't poison your mother. I just want to state for the record that telepathically informing Meloka requires her to receive and process the message on top of actually acting on that information. As I say this, I realize it's up in the air as to whether or not firing a crystal at Frost ourselves would be any faster, but I'm reasonably certain Chilli is used to quick-casting Crystal magic under stress.

>>5965516You ponder it a moment, thinking through all possibilities. But come to only one conclusion.“I'll handle it myself.” you say, getting a curt nod from the Destroyer who returns to his seat. But he's no longer sitting easy, clearly on edge as everyone returns to how they were. Your mother walking Frost over, about to reach his arm up and poison your mother once again. They walk back another couple steps, Frost's arm going back to trying to pry your mother's grip away, then the time effect ends. Once again your mother picks him up, flying towards the nearest edge of the ring as you reach out telepathically. “Mom, be careful! Poison needle in his right forearm, don't let him hit you!”“What?” she replies, you telepathically sending her the visions of what you'd seen. Then, in less than a second since time resumed, your mother replies back. “Thank Whis for me.”Ending the mental link herself she drops Frost and leaps back away suddenly as he reaches back with his right, his arm narrowly missing your mother. Who, instead of grabbing Frost herself, reaches down with her hand and grips him with her telekinesis.“Trying to cheat, huh?” your mother says, Frost's eyes widening as she lifts him up off his feet without touching him. Keeping a couple feet between them she carries Frost over in her telekinetic grip, holding him in place just a few feet above a ring out. “I was trying to give you an easy end. But for trying to cheat, I'm going to make it hurt.”And without another word blurs, one instant they're standing at the edge of the arena, the next there's a HOLE in the roof, Frost's body is falling limply back down towards the ground. Your mother is standing with her right fist raised clearly having given Frost a devastating uppercut. But, then the air inside the dome starts getting sucked out, pulling with enough force that it pulls Frost's limp body back towards the void, even pulling your platforms over towards it.“Vados.” Champa says sourly, the other Destroyer's attendant waving her staff. A moment later the hole is fixed, sealing itself shut as Frost limply collapses to the ground well outside the stage.“Wha... Woah! It would seem that contestant Frost has been knocked out of bounds! The winner is contestant Meloka!” the announcer shouts, your family all cheering her on. Except your father and Freeza, both of who look rather intensely down. You look over as well, seeing your mother suddenly drop unsteadily down to a knee once more! “What's this? Contestant Meloka is suddenly down as well!”-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 215 paused-
>>5965559And that's it for tonight, enjoying the tournament so far? Ready to see how this plays out, what will happen next and who will fight the next fight? Curious what Meloka's still-hidden power or technique is, what she's still keeping in reserve? Find out when this episode resumes in 11 1/2 hours at noon EST!
>>5965564>>5965564Ready for meloka to sweep the entire tournament baby! But for real though, frost is a bitch. Good run qm. I kind of want to see a training session style with cabba like Vegeta did in canon, but who knows if that will happen.
>>5965580She probably won’t sweep the entire thing. Plus, after what happened this next match could be a tough one for her. If she even fights it. As for Cabba, we’ll see how that plays out.
>>5965584>tfw the only one on our roster who'd probably be down for a teaching moment is frieza>and the only reason he'd do it is to show off that even if they got stronger, he's still superior
>>5965596At this point Freeza’s disgusted with Universe 6. Their fighters are weak, their verison of him is a cowardly snake and not a proud dragon like himself, their Saiyans don’t even know how to transform, they’re all useless. He’s considering conquest
>>5965601To be fair, Freeza only said he would conquer the universe, he never specified which one.
>>5965608Well if he's conquering THE universe then he's gotta get them all to figure out which one is THE one, you know? It's like shopping for the best pair of pants.
>>5965601Eh at least hit is a good fighter
>>5965601I don't exactly blame him. If he was told that U6 was supposed to be the counterpart universe, I think it'd just piss him off.Frost is a certified BIIIIITCH like pre-fuckbox Trunks and Trigon-era Cooler, it'd be an insult to compare him to our emperor. Botamo is a weak one trick pony who's nothing without his trick, but Captain Ginyu has exceptional god-slaying power to back up his nearly limitless bag of abilities. Cabba needs to eat a fuckin' HAMBURGER and go to the gym to get swole and get super saiyan. He's a coughing baby next to the nuclear simian warheads of U7.I didn't mention the robot because we had no exposition on it yetIf it wasn't for Hit, the U6 roster would be The Weakling Force.
>>5965690>U6 at 100%vs>U6 at 99.99%is just taking everyone but Hit out of the picture, really. He's also the only REAL DEAL fighter on their side on top of being someone who isn't just a gimmick. You could put him in U7 and he wouldn't die or go into conniptions.
>>5965709Hit is far and away the strongest guy in U6 by a large amount really and even then he isn't stronger then most of U7, the thing that makes him relevant is he has really high levels of technique and the equivalent of guldo's time stop. If he wasn't so damn skilled he probably could get soloed by pretty much anyone on the U7 team. Mind you Karn's U7 runs at a much high Power Level then even Canon U7 on average considering there's far more then just goku and vegeta carrying the universe.
>>5965641Hit is an Assassin. A very deadly and experienced one, but an Assassin nonetheless. There's a world of difference between a hired killer and a warrior.
>>5965564I'm kinda disappointed you kept the canon roster, especially after you've established way back that U6 is the Marvel setting to our DC. I have nothing but derision for the unambitious, boring designs of the Universe 6 slop characters. Hit is genuinely the only U6 character I like, and I hope he gives us a good show.
>>5965799I think he's saving that for future encounters, and hopefully this isn't the end of our interactions with U6. Would be a bit overkill to crack open the pandora's box that is the Marvel universe so soon in this tournament. >there might be a timeline where Champa recruited Deadpool
>>5965608Ha.>>5965609He already conquered one, but what’s one more?>>5965641He has the potential to be.>>5965690Universe 6 isn’t a team of fighters, but it exposes Champa’s mindset. He didn’t look for the best FIGHTERS, but beings with innate hax to BEAT fighters.>>5965709The efficiency would drop slightly, as he’d lose meat shields. But the Namekians are willing to get surprisingly powerful, stronger than any Super Namekian before them.>>5965755Yes, having a team they’ve raised up makes SCQ U7 the more dangerous. But our U7 lacks canon U7’s unparalleled plot armor. We have to earn our wins through training and hard work.>>5965799Yea, but now consider this. Champa COPIES Beerus’ earlier team for the Tournament of Power. Beerus brings a Namekian, Champa finds Namekians. Beerus has 2 Saiyans so Champa wants 3. And Vados has most certainly noticed not only Ubo, but Raven watching through his eye.>>5965825Unlike Canon, we may go VISIT Planet Sadala after this is over and Champa’s cooled off. Perhaps after a baseball game?
>>5965799He also said marvel earth was destroyed so that leaves out anyone that isn't from space. That leaves Thanos, guardians of the galaxy, the kree, the skurls, asguardians, and galactius's heralds. Don't know who else would be eligible.>>5965833>But our U7 lacks canon U7’s unparalleled plot armor. So you're saying we need batman on our T.O.P team
>>5965854Wouldn't be a good idea. A flat arena with almost no protrusions, nowhere to hide and no ceiling to use his grapple gun, he'd be at a severe disadvantage.
>>5965833>spoilerOh thank God Jeice is still around.
>>5965833Champa the Cheater, lol
>>5965872Yes, he is the only man who can go toe-to-toe against canon Yamcha in a battle of pitching.>>5965880Ha!
>>5965854technically most of the xmen are in space considering the aftermath of all the krakoa shit, most mutants are currently faffling around on their mars in comics. if current marvel comics was the one to get nuked, i think the only mutant who for sure gets blown up is cyclops, and maybe wolverine depending on the comic.
>>5965559“Tch. Bas-Bus-Bassard ha-ahh... Ano...her...one.” Meloka says, collapsing over onto her right side. Immediately your father goes to leap down onto the stage, Freeza holding him back. But your mother, weak and shaking holds her hand out towards him, clearly gesturing him to stop. You all then watch as she focuses her breathing, a familiar golden glow appearing around her body when suddenly a purple fluid squirts out of her left triceps. It takes her a moment, your mother then pushing herself up onto a knee once more. With a few more breaths she then stands back up, reaching over and grabbing Frost with her telekinesis. Jerking his limp body off the ground and tossing it at her feet. “Alright, where is it?”“Umm, contestant Meloka? What are you doing?” the announcer asks her as she looks over Frost's tail, reaching down after a moment before plucking something from the tip. She then offers it to the announcer, who looks at the metal item in her hand.“Frost was cheating. This needle is poisoned.” she says, gesturing over with it towards that purple fluid on the arena where she was laying as down. “Check his right arm if you wish, you'll find another one on the outside of his forearm.”“Poisoned needles? Using an outside weapon like this is against the rules! Contestant Frost is disqualified!” the announcer shouts, stunning the other Universe 6 warriors. All except for the coat-wearing one, who still doesn't even open his eyes.“Whaaaat?! Frost cheated?!” Champa shouts, stunned.“No way, Mister Frost is an upstanding hero! We even fought alongside each other!” Cabba protests. “He would never use such underhanded tactics!”“Believe what you want.” Meloka says, turning to his body and tossing it at Champa with telekinesis. Frost slams into the side, Cabba running over and grabbing him before he can fall over. But, unfortunately for him Cabba grabs Frost by the forearm, recoiling instantly. Frost falls, Cabba swaying on his feet before falling back onto his back.“Cabba? What happened to you?!” Champa shouts, startled.“He unfortunately seems to have grabbed onto one of Frost's poisoned needles.” Vados says, Champa turning to her with his jaw agape. “But I don't understand, I though he was such a stand up guy?” Champa asks, to which Vados chuckles.“My lord, the answer is simple. This is who the 'great mister' Frost really is.” she says. “Mister Frost is the leader of the underground crime syndicate he appears to the public to fight so diligently against. Starting and ending his own wars to profit off the war-torn planets.”cont
>>5965896“Hmph. Such an inefficient and pointless exercise.” Freeza says disdainfully. “Such false virtue is the sign on one who does not believe his rule is right. It is better to simply be honest with your true nature, to rule through fear and domination instead of trickery. Destroyer, Champa. Do you wish for us to restore your downed fighter? You seem to be down a Saiyan.”“Wha-? You... This isn't a trick, is it?” he asks, Freeza turning to Caulifla.“If you wouldn't mind?”“I'll help.” your sister says, flying over and landing beside the downed Saiyan, chime in hand as she starts muttering the words. A few moments later the two are bathed in golden light, the tiny Saiyan suddenly sitting up.“D-Don't think this means I'm going to let you win!” Champa shouts over at Beerus, who turns to Freeza.“Now why would you go and do something like that?” the God of Destruction asks, Freeza smirking audibly.“When Champa loses, how many excuses do you want to leave him able to make?” Freeza asks. “Besides, at the rate this is going, I doubt that even Karn will have to fight, much less myself.” But as he says this you look down at your mother, who has her divine aura burning around her. Albeit a bit muted, almost like a bonfire burning itself out. But after taking that poison directly, even if spitting it back out quickly, could have left some damage behind. You're not sure how much, not knowing the poison itself nor its dosage. You hope she's fine, but she could just be putting on a front. But, as you're looking down, suddenly you see Frost actually get up! And, seemingly unknown to anyone else, starts trying to slink away! He looks around, not noticing you staring and limps away, towards where you'd seen Champa's cube-like ship as you all landed. You're seemingly the only one to notice, Champa talking at Vados, Caulifla talking with the smaller Saiyan Cabba she'd saved, and Beerus and your father talking with Freeza. But what do you do?>Throw a crystal down and Crystallize him, trapping Frost where he stands until Champa decides how he wants to handle his competitor>Teleport up through his shadow, reap his soul before he can react much less try to interfere in your mother's next match>Instant Transmission down to him, then trap him in the Chaos Space. Lmfao at this little bitch still trying to pull a fast one in front of some of the most watchful eyes of two universes. Can't even take grace in defeat.
>>5965897For a moment you consider going on the attack, taking him down and trapping him within your crystals. But, as Champa shouts at the large metal man to leap down and go, you decide against it. Instead, you 'lock' your ki sense on him as the man retreats. Making sure he doesn't have any other tricks up his sleeves or tries to come back and interfere.“The next contestant from the Sixth Universe! MAGETTA!” the announcer shouts as the robot drops, landing on the far edge of the arena. The hulking metal creature is HEAVY, causing the entire arena to nearly flip over. Your mother stands atop it, balanced as the metal man steps more forward. Causing the arena stage to crash back to the ground. However, as it does, you notice that the coat-wearing fighter is suddenly gone! In that moment he'd vanished, you wondering where he went as the announcer speaks. “And after that last match, the rules have been changed!”“WHAT?!” Beerus shouts as Vados waves her staff, creating a second barrier. This one cubic in shape, surrounding the arena stage. Leaving plenty of room to fall out of bounds on the ground, but not leaving as much aerial maneuvering room as before. “I didn't agree to any rule changes! You can't just go changing the rules like that!”“What do you mean, brother? I was in charge of the arena, was I not?” Champa asks innocent, but as the brothers argue you realize where the other fighter went. He's now beside Frost, you wondering what's about to happen. Then, you notice that, while Whis is here, Vados surprisingly isn't anywhere to be seen.“What's wrong?” your father asks you, seeing you looking around.“Vados. She's gone.” you say, Karn looking a moment before realizing you're right. “Not only her, but the 6ths other fighter too. I think they both went after Frost.”“Frost? Where.... Hmmm.” your father says, not clearly sensing what you are as well. His brows furrow in thought, but before either of you can ponder this long she simply reappears behind Champa as if she never left. You sensing that warrior and Frost's ki both coming back towards the arena. “What are they up to?”“Lord Beerus, it's fine. Your brother's just panicking because his fighters haven't won a fight yet.” your mother calls up to the two bickering Destroyers. “Let's leave it for one match, if it's a problem we can deal with it after the match.”“Shall we let Meloka take the lead, Lord Beerus? After all, she said that it is fine.” Whis adds, Beerus grumbling a moment before turning his back on Champa, flying back over to the stage you all are standing on. Smugly Champa flies over to his stage, having 'won', fires a beam into the gong.cont
>>5965963“Let the third match BEGIN!” the announcer declares, the robot named Magetta stomping forward towards your mother.“Choo poo!” Magetta shouts, charging and swinging with a heavy right. Your mother dodges it easily, the metal man firing punch after punch. But none connect, as a Super Saiyan God she's far faster. And with a final right she leaps over his fist, flipping once and firing a devastating axe kick down. One that cracks the arena tiles beneath Magetta's feet, knocking the metal man's head down into his body! She flies back, landing on her feet only for the robot to start slamming his own fists down into his embedded head, arms swinging faster and faster.“Huh? It looks like that robot malfunctioned.” Freeza mutters, but you're not so sure. Then, suddenly it stops, reaching into itself. It grabs the steam port in its fingers, pulling its head back out and into its previous place.“CHOO POOOO!!” Magetta roars, banging its fists against its chest before raising them overhead. A fiery plume of heat bursts from the spout on its head, the fiery liquid inside it glowing brighter through the two ports in its chest.“Guess you won't go down so easy.” your mother remarks, Magetta then dashing forward.“Woah!” you shout, the monster's speed more than doubling!“What?!” Meloka exclaims, narrowly weaving the far faster punch it throws. Magetta's arms are a blur as it tries to hit her, your mother weaving the attacks then leaving an afterimage behind as it tries to grab her. Dashing through its legs she comes to a stop on the other side of the ring, Magetta looking at her from between his legs.“Choo pooo. CHOOO!” he bellows, walking backwards towards your mother still doubled over.“This thing's quite something.” your father remarks as it stops in the center of the ring, holding both arms straight out. Then, its entire torso begins spinning, rotating faster and faster until it looks like a localized tornado. Magetta then, legs still backwards starts sprinting towards your mother, spinning like a top. “Clumsy, but powerful.”Meloka leaps aside, dodging the metal man's charge. But he doesn't stop, continuously chasing her into the middle of the ring. Then, he starts moving so fast he appears in three places at once, closing in on her from all sides. At the last second your mother leaps into the air, forcing herself to stop before she hits the barrier.“LOOK OUT!” you call, your mother giving you a smile over her shoulder before calling out.“Champa restricted the air space because Magetta here can't fly.” she says, gathering her ki into both hands. “Which means this is the best spot to fight him from. HAAAA!”cont
>>5965964Meloka fires down a beam from her left, it smashing into the robot and pushes him slightly back. Sliding across the tile he's on until his heels hit the edge, catching in the gap between them. She continues to pour her energy out, throwing her other hand out and firing a second beam. Yet it doesn't knock him back, the metal man taking the hit on directly.“Whatever he is, he is certainly one durable monster.” Captain Ginyu says, you all watching as suddenly Magetta's head opens. Firing a powerful stream of what looks like lava up directly into your mother's attacks!“What?” you shout, shocked by this.“Oh come on, he's cheating! He's using a flamethrower!” Beerus complains to the referee, who is huddled in the corner. His head antenna lights up, ref rising back to his feet.“Alright folks, I have just received a full anatomical update. The metal man race can naturally produce lava saliva!” he shouts. “Which means it is therefore permissible!”“Heh heh heh.” Champa gloats, you glancing over and noticing the warrior is back on their platform, along with an unconscious Frost. You have no idea what he did, but the man's out cold. You can still sense his ki, leaving you wondering what exactly this warrior did to him?“Who ever heard of lava saliva? Our universes are more bizarre than I thought.” Beerus says, watching as the stream of fire begins slowly overpowering your mother's attack.“Hmph. Is that all you've got?” your mother calls down, increasing her power and pushing back. But Magetta's entire torso begins glowing, light blazing from the two holes in its chest. The metal man's power continues rising, pushing your mother's attack further and further back! Somehow, the metal man is overpowering her! “Tch!”“Come on, don't let up!” your father suddenly calls, cheering her on. But as you watch, you realize something he doesn't. Meloka stops her attack, dodging aside as Magetta's lava spit is fired like a water cannon. His beam of fire chases her around the barriers of the ring, quickly obscuring the inside in steam. He's suffocating her.“Dammit, this isn't good.” you say, both Freeza and your father turning to you.“What is it?” your old man asks, immediately focusing on you.“Look at the bottom of the barrier. Magetta's choking her out.” youtell them, pointing to the bottom edge of the barrier. It doesn't touch the ground, letting small wisps of steam out from under it. “The air inside the barrier before is cooler than the hot air Magetta's expelling. Forcing the breathable air down and out through the gap in the bottom. The more he uses that fire spit, the thinner and thinner the breathable air inside's getting. He's choking her out.”cont
>>5965965“Dammit. How long can she hold out?” Karn mutters aloud, you barely hearing him. >>5965966“He's got to have a weak point. There!” your mother shouts, suddenly dashing in towards Magetta only for him to fire a burst of steam from the hole in his head vent, the superheated air blasting your mother back away from him. “Tch! Dammit!”But this cloud is different, more yellow than the steam before. Then, ending the spray he opens his mouth once more, firing a fireball up into that cloud. Causing the entire smoke cloud to detonate in a fiery burst, blasting your mother back.“WATCH OUT FOR THE EDGE!!” Chaya shouts as your mother is launched at the barrier. Flipping towards it she throws out both hands, firing a wide angled ki wave. Using the recoil of her shot to slow herself down, avoiding the ring out narrowly. “Hell yeah, go Mom! Kick his ass!”“That was too close.” Beerus sighs out in relief before shouting at the ref again. “That was clearly cheating! He brought some sort of chemical weapon into the fight!”“This just in, that was actually the metal man's intestinal gas he shot out, a highly combustive substance. But it is a part of his anatomy, so it is allowed!” the ref calls, Beerus grumbling. Through the steam you can see the metal man actually blushing about this, which you find odd. But your mother's chest is heaving as she pants, struggling to get a breath.“Mom, you've got to hurry. He's trying to choke you out. All the breathable air is down at the bottom, where he is while all his breaths are rising due to heat.” you think to her, trying to suppress your panic. “You've got to hurry, or there won't be any breathable air left!”“So, that's what he's doing. I knew something was wrong.” she replies to you. “Thanks. But I'll take it from here.”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXO3mAe5aPQShe then ends the mental link, only to see Magetta firing another beam of lava spit up at her. She dodges it once again, this time blazing her divine aura up around her.“I'm ending this, right now!” she declares, dodging another beam of fiery spit before dashing DOWN towards the metal man. He meets her charge head on, her tiny fist slamming into his titanic one. Magetta stops your mother's charge, Meloka back flipping under his follow-up left and landing on the ground before him and drawing her fists back to her sides. She then thrusts both forward almost like the Time Patrol's Kamehameha, but instead of firing a beam spreads her hands apart. Wreathing Magetta inside her blazing, divine ki. “Try this on, the God Bind.”cont
>>5966044“Chhhh-Choo Pooo?” Magetta says, shocked that his body suddenly can't move. Your mother smirks at this, her hands still outstretched as she stops him in place.“Now this whole fight comes down to this. Who is quicker on the draw?” she asks, Magetta looking down at her as she tries taking in deeper breaths. Yet you can tell she's sweating heavily, arms trembling from trying to keep the metal man restrained. “Now I'm going to throw you out.”“Choo Poo? CHOOOO POOOOOO!!” Magetta shouts, steaming as his entire body starts glowing red. Then, after a second your mother's divine energy seemingly SHATTERS, Magetta's own dark red energy blazing and knocking her back.“Tch, shit!” she exclaims, flipping down and landing on all fours. Forced to leap off the ground immediately, Magetta's fist slamming into the ground where she'd just been. “What's it gonna take to put you down?!”“Choo Poooo!!” Magetta roars, firing another beam of lava up at Meloka. Who, unable to dodge in time is forced to fire a beam in retaliation. Her attack actually stops Magetta's energy, the lava turning to rock and crumbling away. Magetta then fires another fireball up at your mother, but as her view is blinded Magetta reaches down, grabbing the solidified lava pillar and leaping. Your mother blasts the lava away, leaving her completely exposed. “CHOO POOO!!”“SHIT!” Meloka shouts, narrowly dodging clockwise as Magetta swings the pillar down. The massive chunk of stone swings through empty air, knocking Magetta off-balance. ”GOT YOU!!”“Choo?” Magetta says as Meloka dashes forward, driving both heels square into the side of Magetta's head. Sending the metal man flying, crashing into the barrier. Your mother hit him so hard the barrier wall shatters, the entire structure collapsing moments later. The giant metal man's body crashes down, landing atop several smaller structures and crushing them underneath his heavy frame.“Contestant Magetta has hit the barrier, meaning he is out of bounds! The winner is contestant Meloka!” the announcer declares, gesturing to your mother. Who drops down to the arena on all fours, panting in exhaustion as she reverts back to her base form. “Are you okay contestant? Can you continue?”“Y-Yeah. I'm. Not done. Yet.” she says, pushing herself unsteadily to her feet. Your family and allies all cheering. She stands with her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. Standing up to her full height, arms hanging limply as she struggles to breathe. “I've got one more in me.”“Very well, the tournament will continue with the fourth match!” the announcer calls, turning from her to Champa's stage. “Contestant Cabba, to the ring!”cont
>>5966045“Looks like it's my turn.” the young man says, leaping with a front flip off the platform, landing near Meloka. He walks up to her, smiling. “I guess it's a good thing I won't have to fight you at your full power. I've never seen a form like that before.”“That's called Super Saiyan God. A power you can't achieve by yourself, no matter how strong you push yourself.” your mother tells him. “Without allies, you'll never reach it.”“I see. Well then, I look forward to seeing what you've got left.” Cabba says, taking a strangely familiar fighting pose. One that looks almost identical to King Vegeta's. “I'll do my best.”“CABBA! DON'T YOU DARE LOSE!!” Champa shrieks, the fat cat sounding nearly on the point of tears. “IF YOU LOSE I'LL DESTROY YOU MYSELF!”“Tough break.” Meloka says, getting into her fighting pose. But from what you can tell of her remaining ki, she's very outmatched. She took three fighters down by herself, but in the shape she's in might be taken out by someone far weaker than her best.“Both fighters ready?” the announcer calls out, swinging his hand down as Beerus fires a beam into the gong. “Aaaaaaan BEGIN!”“Haaaaaa!!” Cabba shouts, dashing forward and immediately going on the attack. Your mother, seemingly still trying to catch her breath is forced back onto the defensive, Cabba pushing her back to the arena's edge almost immediately. She defends herself best as she can, blocking every other or every third blow Cabba throws. But the Universe 6 Saiyan doesn't slow down, pressing the assault. She doesn't have time to get away, to back off and use her energy techniques as Cabba rains down dozens, scores, hundreds of punches against her arms, chest and face.“Haaaaaaaa!!” Cabba roars, pressing her all the way to the edge of the ring. Blocking his strike with her arms crosses, her left foot slips off the edge, her upper body dropping backwards. “NOW!”Cabba then fires a massive right, but it seems that's what your mother was looking for! Instantly your mother raises her left, the back of her hand hitting his wrist and knocking his blow partially aside. Everything seems to slow down, you watching in slow motion as his fist grazes her cheek, knuckle cutting heras she twists her left. Grabbing Cabba by the right wrist with her left, she continues spinning, reaching up and grabbing his forearm just under the elbow with her right as she twists. Getting her right shoulder up and under his outstretched arm, using it as a fulcrum. Catching the younger Saiyan by surprise as she suddenly tosses him up and over her shoulder, swinging him down at the ground.“HELL YEAH!” your father shouts, but the young Cabba isn't done yet. Gritting his teeth he then lets his power explode, the Explosive Wave blasting your mother back as he stops his descent. “Dammit, so close.”Meloka slides to a stop, watching as Cabba flies back up, having not touched the ground. His expression is serious, landing back on the arena and taking a familiar stance.“I underestimated you, and nearly lost for it.” he says, purple energy suddenly crackling out from him. “But now I'm ending this! Galick Cannon!!”And much like Vegeta, fires a purple beam of power directly at her. Your mother, still trying to catch her breath barely manages to roll out of the way, only for Cabba to be right back on the attack. Swinging a heavy right for her temple, but this time your mother doesn't block. The heavy blow makes solid contact, knocking her off her feet and sending her sliding across the tiles. All the way to the far edge of the arena, where she tumbles off the edge.“MELOKA!” Karn roars, you watching as, the moment she goes over her hand shoots up, barely managing to catch onto the ledge. She's not out yet!cont
>>5966114“Hurry Cabba! Knock her out now! Don't let her get back on the stage!” Champa calls, Cabba looking over confused. He then sees your mother throw a hand up, getting her left arm up onto the stage as well. “TAKE HER OUT!!”“Tch!” Cabba says through clenched teeth, hesitating for a moment. But then he does as he was ordered, rushing forward. Meloka pushes herself up enough to get a leg onto the stage before seeing the approaching Saiyan, then as he flies in, kicking down at your mother as she raises her right to her forehead. And the instant before his kick connects, she vanishes. “What?”Sliding to a stop on his back foot, your mother leaps back away from him, sliding to a stop herself near the center of the ring. Cabba turns, seeing your mother still standing and rises back up to his full height.“I must acknowledge you as a fellow warrior, and for your unyielding spirit.” he says, dropping back into his fighting stance. “I tried to give you an easy out to this fight, but if you won't take it then I'll have to make you quit.”“Haaah, haaaah. Hey, Whis? Do you think I've got enough left to try it?” your mother suddenly calls out, not looking towards you all but keeping her focus squarely on Cabba.“In your current state, I'd say you have ten, maybe twelve seconds at most.” the angel answers, you wondering what he's talking about. But glancing aside to your father he's looking intently at Meloka, no doubt waiting to see what she's got.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T23Wa-zM4k“I was hoping to save this for my husband, when this tournament was all over.” Meloka says, clenching her fists as she pulls her elbows in. “But I'm not about to lose! HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!”“Show me.” your father mutters as her ki vanishes entirely, shifting into a pale azure as her body is obscured. You all watch as your mother, on her last legs taps into her divine power, ascending higher than ever before. “Show me everything you've got.”“HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” your mother roars, her voice distorted and sounding almost Oozaru like for a moment. Then, the light covering her body begins to flake away, the pieces rising into the air and disintegrating into nothingness as your mother reveals her new form beyond a Super Saiyan God. “It's over.”Instantly she's closed the distance, driving her right fist into his guts. She moved so fast you couldn't even see it, standing as Cabba collapses past her face down on the arena floor. She then turns, looking sideways directly to your father with a small grin, before her eyes roll up into the back of her head and she powers back down to base, collapsing unconscious beside her downed foe. >>5966117And that's it for this weekend's run, happy Easter everyone! Did you enjoy the episode so far? Were you impressed with Meloka's performance, or do you think she held back too much? But yeah, glad to see that Mel was able to sweep most of the tournament despite Champas shit tier fighters. I did expect Blue, it only made sense given she knew of it and Whis having observed Ace at some point. Still speaking of Powers theres some surprises in the PL Bin for those who haven't checked it out yet. Im looking forwards to fighting Hit. Given his experience with time manipulators and assassins this should be a real fun match. I really hope Vados/Beerus roasts Champa, because man if this is the best his universe actually has no wonder it was set up for erasure. We atleast have the excuse of our grand supreme kais being dead for tens of thousands of years at minimum. I'm also wondering how the U6 Saiyans will develop from this. They never saw Normal SS. Only God, Blue, and now our Berserker forms. Which you either need other SS's to unlock or the genetic/soul lottery. They dead ass might not unlock Super Saiyan until we visit their universe unless Chili or someone else tells them how.Actually btw as per the rules of the Tournament is Divine Dragon Force allowed to be summoned or does he count as like...another entity or whatever?

>>5966584It'd be pretty funny if Ginyu didn't fight so Champa thought Ginyu was actually just an alien made out of playdough or gum. So he just went and got a dude that was really squishy and stretchy. Or if he gets ACTUAL U6 Majin Buu from some ephemeral chaos prison or something.

Karn is built different, also I don't think hit is gonna be able to do fuck all to energy body, karn doesn't have the specific weakness issue goku or vegeta has in Canon. Karn is actually a really terrible match up for hit not because of the berserker anti divine shit, but mostly because of the passive energy body thing that makes most of his insta kill stuff generally useless.

Should we go the Kars pov for this intermission, see how the Kais of both universes have reacted so far? Or, perhaps we travel back to Conton City? See how Future Chaya reacts to seeing it look like her home from her childhood memories?
>>5967721I always have to pick Kars. Not because I am particularly interested in the Kai side, but because that one anon's hateboner is visible from space and it makes me laugh every single time.

>>5968058They've also been neglecting their relationship with Whis, the greatest trainer for Divine martial artists in this Universe (something Meloka has been very much enjoying given her newfound strength and abilities)
>>5968060I hadn't thought of that. Makes me wonder why whis never bothered to train Shin, at least in martial abilities.

>>5968208>Real talk, how long AFTER he found out did he come down to New Salda? Not all that long, all things considered. -Saiyan Conqueror Quest 215 Intermission-AGE 757, UNNAMED PLANET“Oh ho, looks like I was right, honored elder.” you say, unable to keep the tiny grin off your face. “Seems that Karn won't be the first fighter into the fray.”“Ahhh, phoey! How was I supposed to know that muscles-for-brains wasn't going to charge in head first?” he complains good-naturedly at losing the wager as instead of the mountain of a man doesn't leap down from the platform Beerus is sitting on, but his much smaller wife does instead. “As if 'ladies first' includes a fight!”“Come now, honored elder. I had thought the outcome obvious.” you say as the yellow bear-like creature drops down to the stage. “She has been training in the divine realm, hiding the fruits of her training from her husband. No doubt waiting for ample opportunity to display her powers. And see the way he's looking to her? I bet he is just as eager to see the fruits of her labor, the power she gained in their time apart.”“Bahhh, kids and their foolish games.” Elder Kai grumbles, the first match getting underway. The bear begins pinballing around, but your attention is focused on the Saiyan. Her power, despite not transforming into the divine state, suddenly radiates with divine energy. Her power is godlike, yet she seemingly can tap into it at will, not even needing to transform.“What is this? Elder one, what is going on?” the Sixth Universe's Grand Supreme Kai suddenly asks. You suppress the smirk rising as he asks the elder instead of Shin, further diminishing his authority among the universes. “How is a ningen using Divine Ki?”“Ohhhyo? You didn't know? That one's rather special, she is.” Elder Kai says as their fighter continues bouncing around, the woman not moving from where she stands. You see her tracking the being's movements, not through her senses. But with how she's spread her energy throughout the entire sphere. She can probably distinguish everyone present's movements simultaneously, giving herself perfect awareness of her surroundings. Making you realize the true reason she went first. “She and the big one over there, along with the white one with the menacing aura all fought Lord Beerus himself, not long ago.”“Fuwhaaaaaaaa?!” the Sixth's Grand Supreme Kai exclaims as Meloka dodges, firing a beam that mostly muffles his shout from the others. But, despite her attack being more than sufficient to knock the living pinball out of the ring, her attack does... Nothing. You can feel her ki strike the being, but the power behind her attack just doesn't connect. Something's wrong here, this beast is using a power you've never seen before. But it is one that's piqued your interest.
>>5969952“Excuse me, Supreme Kai of the Sixth.” you say, bowing properly to him. “But, if I may inquire, what technique is your fighter employing? How was he able to withstand that blast? Her power was more than enough to knock Botamo from the ring, yet her attack didn't even alter the trajectory of his course.”“Wh.. Oh, do forgive me. But, I have no idea what powers the ningen possess.” Fuwa says idly, watching passively as the bear finally comes to a stop, landing on his feet a dozen feet from her. “They are beneath us.”“Fool.” you think to yourself, not answering aloud but simply bowing, returning your attention to the fight as Shin and the Sixth's Grand Supreme Kai talk.“Heh heh, tell you what. Give me your best shot.” the bear taunts, gesturing her to come to him with his right hand's fingers. But she's no fool, you sensing her energy go out beneath the arena. Then firing it up at the bear creature with a smirk.“Watch your step.” she says, vaporizing the arena beneath Botamo's feet. Since she can't hurt him, she went for the rules of the tournament, aiming for a ring out. Botamo reaches out, grabbing onto the sides of the hole and keeping himself from falling in. As he does she then dashes forward, flipping into an axe kick. Striking Botamo square in the head. Once again, her attack seemingly does nothing, but you do notice a distortion in the space around him at the point of impact. And, with a flash of understanding realize what's going on.“Hoooo? Impressive.” you say as the bear begins pulling himself out of the hole. Elder Kai, having learned some of your ways turns to you, a brow raised. Knowing what he wants to ask you begin to speak, explaining yourself. “That one, Botamo. He is using a technique I've only theorized about. But seeing not only that it is possible, but how well it works is astounding.”“Ohh? And what technique would that be?” he asks you as Botamo begins firing energy shots from his mouth at her.“Yes, that's right! Show the Seventh why you're the best, Botamo!” Champa cheers, the fool thinking his fighter is winning. But you can already see the weakness of the technique, and how his over reliance on it will cause the end.“This fight will end with a ring out.” you say aloud, and not a second later Botamo fires a shot through Meloka. Or, rather, her afterimage.“What?” Fuwa asks, surprised by the technique as Meloka, now behind Botamo grabs him by a foot, pulls him over and drags him to the edge. Where she throws him off, the yellow bear landing on the ground.“Contestant Botamo is out of bounds! The winner is contestant Meloka!” the announcer declares, much to Fuwa and his attendant's shock.
>>5969954“What is this? And how did you know how the fight would end?” he asks you, sounding more genuinely curious than upset at his team losing the first round.“It was simple, really. Meloka, the Saiyan woman down there identified not only Botamo's technique, but its weakness.”“And what would that be?” Elder Kai asks, giving you a plotting grin. You know he wants to be smug in front of his Sixth counterpart, and give him what he wants.“Botamo's technique sends an attack's power into another dimension upon impact.” you say, seeing Shin's confusion as you talk. Which only boosts you to show off a bit more. “Not the attacks themselves, but the physical impact they would have. While Meloka probably didn't realize that, she did see that her attacks weren't working. So, instead of wasting her energy trying to overpower the technique, which would be complete foolishness, she switched her strategy. Her attacks couldn't hurt Botamo, but with her kick earlier she knew she could touch him. So, from there it was only a few steps of dragging him to the edge and throwing him off, winning within the rules.”“I see. You're a rather astute one, yes.” Fuwa says, the way he looks at you now slightly different. He no longer holds you in the same contempt he looks at Shin with, leaving you gloating a bit internally. But then, Elder Kai speaks up.“So, have you figured out how he does it yet?” he asks you, looking even more smug. To which you nod, now knowing how it works and seeing it, you're sure you can replicate it perfectly.“I believe that I will be able to perform it. Now that I know it works, and isn't purely theoretical, and having seen it firsthand, I should be able to do so as well.”“You would stoop to using ningen techniques?” Fuwa asks, surprised as the Freeza-type introduces himself. But you've already seen enough, he's a snake. Hiding his true person beneath this fake exterior. And if Meloka doesn't fall for it, he's through.“Mortals are many things. But creative is most certainly one of them.” you reply to Fuwa. “Were it not for mortal ingenuity, I would not be here today. Nor would I be anywhere close to as powerful. But, I reckon you'll see what I mean soon enough.”“What do you mean?” Fuwa asks you, sounding genuinely concerned as Frost begins shouting, his power spiking as he starts to transform. But once he's done, his power still doesn't compare to the Saiyan's. And, even worse this form is hideous. With that elongated, bulbous head, the wide shoulders and squat appearance, this form seems quite impractical. As Meloka quickly proves, nearly ringing him out. Frost barely manages to drag himself back onto the stage, Meloka simply standing there watching as she glares, crossing her arms.
>>5969955“You have one more chance. Show me your REAL power, your full strength.” she says curtly. “Otherwise I'm ringing you out with my next attack, so there's no point trying to conserve power for your later matches.”“She seems to be talking quite arrogantly, for someone with so little divine power.” Fuwa's assistant says, looking down his very small nose at her as Frost transforms. But as he takes on the same form Freeza wields now so effortlessly, you realize that it is probably time.“I wonder, how closely have you been paying attention to the Saiyans of your universe?” you ask them both as Meloka sighs out, rising up to her full height and crossing her arms up before her. You can feel her divine aura begin to surge, strength skyrocketing. “Because the Saiyans are the biggest threat to the gods.”“Haaaaaaaaaa! HAAAAAAAAAA!!” the small woman bellows, fiery divine aura blazing.“Whaaaaaaat?! Vados, what in the world is going on?!” Champa exclaims, clearly shocked. “Cabba, you're a Saiyan! What is she doing!?”“I have no idea! I've never seen a Saiyan do this before!” the Universe 6 Saiyan shouts, you realizing he's no threat either as Fuwa and his attendant simply stare down, eyes wide and jaws hanging in shock as she fully transforms.“This, gentlemen, is a Saiyan who has ascended beyond mortal limitations.” you say, feeling rather smug at their reactions. Even Frost, despite clearly not being able to sense her can see the changes in her, steps back in fear.“Wh-What is this power?” Frost asks her nervously. “What ARE you?”“Heh. This is the form I fought against Lord Beerus with.” she says, her divine aura expanding further and further from her. Her divine might swells, aura growing to fill the entirety of the air bubble with her power. “This is Super Saiyan God.”“WHAT?!” Did she just say she fought BEERUS?!!” Champa screams, turning to his attendant who only has eyes for the Super Saiyan God.“Oh my.” Vados says simply, the woman looking completely relaxed as she stares down the discount Freeza from the Sixth. “This could prove troublesome.”“Do your best. I'll try not to break you, but there's no shame if you stand down now.” the woman says casually, as if talking about something no more consequential than the weather. “My power is on a level you can't comprehend.”He tries to talk tough, but she gets behind him with ease, locking in a choke. You see him raise his right, you catching the glint of a needle in his forearm as he starts reaching up towards her face. Immediately you recognize it as a weapon, against the rules, yet somehow so does she. You aren't sure if it's instinct, or just blind luck, but she suddenly releases him. Leaping back before grabbing him with telekinesis and lifting him into the air.
>>5969956“Trying to cheat, huh?” she says, confirming your suspicions that she saw it coming. But Fuwa is immediately off-put.“How dare she? Disparage our honor by implying we would cheat.” he says haughtily, crossing his arms. “And she calls herself a god.”“I was trying to give you an easy end.” she says, holding him off the ground and keeping a few feet between them as she walks him to the edge. “But for trying to cheat, I'm going to make it hurt.”She then charges surprisingly fast, dashing in and landing a barrage of over fifteen strikes to his face before catching his chin with a powerful right uppercut, sending him flying. Soaring nearly straight up into the air, smashing into the dome and cracking it. Frost falls, reaching halfway back to the ground before the roof shatters, the void of space drawing everything towards it.“Vados.” Champa says sourly, arms crossed like a petulant child as Vados waves her staff, fixing the hole. Frost collapses limply to the ground off the stage, out-of-bounds. But he's surely not getting up for a while after that beating he just took. As weak as he is, you wonder if he even felt all the punches or was knocked unconscious without knowing how?“Wha... Woah! It would seem that contestant Frost has been knocked out of bounds! The winner is contestant Meloka!” the announcer shouts, her family all cheering as she sways on her feet. Immediately you recognize something's wrong, an instant later she drops down to a knee. “What's this? Contestant Meloka is suddenly down as well!”After another moment she collapses, yet waves off the monster Karn. She focuses her breathing into a familiar rhythm, you noting the Saiyans know how to do THAT as well for later, when suddenly a shot of purple fluid, most definitely not Saiyan blood shoots out of her left triceps onto the arena floor. She then rises, jerking Frost's unconscious body to her with telekinesis. Looking his tail over before plucking something from it, holding up a small, metallic needle.“Frost was cheating. This needle is poisoned.” she says, gesturing with it to the puddle of strange fluid.“Well, if that's not enough proof your man cheated.” you say, seeing Fuwa and his attendant are looking shocked. Not at the events unfolding, but over at Champa. Staring at him in disbelief as the referee makes his call. But while everyone's all getting upset over this fiasco, you can't help but grin. This tournament might be more fun than you'd imagined.
>>5969958Once everything is settled down, the next match begins with the metal man Magetta. The fight is rather interesting, Champa having set another restriction with Meloka cracking the dome as excuse to erect a second barrier. Using his metal man's weaknesses and turning them to strengths, slowly asphyxiating the Saiyan. Except, when Magetta goes to land the final blow, she turns his attack around, throwing him into the barrier and shattering it completely. She wins again.“Fuuuwaaaaaaah! Three of our competitors down against a single fighter? Oh what to do, what to do?” Universe 6's Grand Supreme Kai says, holding his head in his hands.“Heh, perhaps you should have been paying better attention to the ningen in your universe's abilities, yes?” Elder Kai taunts, cheeky grin on his face. “And your wet noodle of a Saiyan can't even transform, so Meloka's gonna go four and oh!”“I'm not so sure, honored elder.” you tell him, looking down at Meloka as the barrier collapses around her. She drops down to all fours, struggling to catch her breath. Exhausted, her body reverts back to her base form, the announcer running over and checking her over. “That gas from the metal man. For it to be explosive, it couldn't have been breathable. Now, not only through her blood, but she's also been poisoned through her lungs. I don't think she has another win in her. Even against someone that weak.”“I'm. Not done. Yet.” the woman says, pushing herself unsteadily to her feet as her family and allies cheer her on. But you look to her husband, who is staring intently at her. You see he's a single step away from jumping down and canceling the fight himself, but as he looks at her expression, that mortal determination blazing in her eyes, you see him back off. “I've got one more in me.”“Such determination. No wonder she was able to get Karn's attention.” Shin says as Meloka barely stands, arms limp by her sides as she keeps struggling to breathe. If she doesn't get help soon, she's going to pass out. Her body isn't getting enough oxygen into her lungs, that poisonous gas no doubt still hanging in them. The other Saiyan leaps down, the two talking a bit as Meloka starts to recover. Saiyan tenacity is quite something.“CABBA! DON'T YOU DARE LOSE!!” Champa shrieks, sounding like he's about to cry. “IF YOU LOSE I'LL DESTROY YOU MYSELF!”“What do you say to a little wager?” Elder Kai asks Fuwa as the two ready themselves for combat. “Fifty on Meloka.”“I have faith in our warriors. Now that yours is tired, he will win.” Fuwa says, his fighter showing he's fresh by exploding forward, pressing her back towards the edge. Yet, as he does, you realize something's wrong. Despite backing her up, somehow she still seems like she's still in control of the pace. Immediately realizing what she's trying to do, you smirk. Clever.
>>5969959“He's about to go over.” you say, the other Kai all turning towards you as you say this. “She's luring him into a trap.”“A trap? What do you mean?” Shin asks you, confused. “She doesn't have the strength left to do much.”“No, she doesn't. That's why she didn't try pushing Cabba to the edge herself. Instead, she's letting him do all the work.” you answer as he pushes her to the edge, her left foot slipping off. “And now he's done.”“NOW!” Cabba roars, firing a right. But Meloka blocks it expertly, grabbing his arm and turning into a shoulder throw. Pitching Cabba directly at the ground outside the stage, a ring out.“HELL YEAH!” Karn roars approvingly, only for Cabba to roar as well, firing off an Explosive Wave. Blasting Meloka back and sending her rolling over a dozen times before getting her feet back under her, sliding to a stop as Cabba rises. Returning to the ring he begins gathering his energy, firing a massive beam. One that the woman narrowly dodges, only to take a direct right to the temple, knocking her all the way across the ring, sliding off the far edge. “MELOKA!”But you watch as she throws a hand back onto the arena, catching herself from falling completely off. She's somehow still in this, still refusing to quit. Her tenacity is quite impressive, even as her powerlevel continues to shrink. She can't keep this up for much longer, using an afterimage to evade a flying kick from Cabba that would have certainly rung her out. Cabba stops himself from going over the edge as Meloka gets some distance, struggling to breathe now. This fight's about over, she can't have anything left. That was no doubt the last of her strength, giving everything she had just to stay in the ring.“I must acknowledge you as a fellow warrior, and for your unyielding spirit.” Cabba says, dropping back into his fighting stance. “I tried to give you an easy out to this fight, but if you won't take it then I'll have to make you quit.”“Haaah, haaaah. Hey, Whis? Do you think I've got enough left to try it?” Meloka suddenly calls out to the angel of Universe 7, not looking away from Cabba as she continues to struggle. But for what?“In your current state, I'd say you have ten, maybe twelve seconds at most.” the angel answers, you wondering what he's talking about. What could she possibly do to turn this around?“I was hoping to save this for my husband, when this tournament was all over.” Meloka says, clenching her fists as she pulls her elbows in. “But I'm not about to lose! HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!”
>>5969962https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T23Wa-zM4kImmediately her energy begins to change, once more turning wholly divine. Her aura changes as well to a calm, pale azure, it completely obscuring her features. Leaving only her figure visible through her blinding light. You feel your own jaw drop as her strength begins to rival your own Super Saiyan Rose power, strength surging higher than ever.“HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” she roars, her voice distorted by her power and sounding deeper, almost as if she were one of their giant ape forms for a moment. But then the light covering her body begins to flake away, the shards of her chrysalis disintegrating into nothing as her true power, her magnificent divinity is revealed. Unlike your own, her hair and tail are a paler blue, expression deadly serious. “It's over.”Before Cabba can react, faster than you'd thought possible of someone lesser than yourself she blurs forward, driving her right into Cabba's guts. You barely saw her move, and in a single strike incapacitated the young man. He collapses face-down, clearly unconscious. Leaving the other Kai stunned, the woman turning back towards her husband. Before her power drops precipitously, unable to maintain that form in her current condition and collapsing as well.“Power that rivals a god....” Fuwa says, stunned at what he'd witnessed. Everyone is shocked, silence hanging over the arena. But all you can think, the one thought filling your mind is just how powerful she would have been at one hundred percent? Would you, even with your newfound power thanks to the Elder Kai been enough to stand up to her? What a frightening woman.“And this is why you shouldn't underestimate the mortals. Or, “ningen” as you call them.” you say to the other Kai. “If left unchecked, they'll grow powerful enough to rival even the gods themselves. Or, even surpass us.”“Surpass...?” Fuwa asks, stunned. As if he'd never even considered the possibility of a mortal growing beyond himself. “That's impossible.”“If you think THAT's impossible, you're not ready for what's next.” you say as Karn leaps down, going towards his wife. “Or, should I say WHO is next?”Seeing the confused, worried look on his face you can't help but feel smug, looking over at Karn eagerly. You're very excited to see just how far he's come.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 215 Intermission End-

>>5969959>“Such determination. No wonder she was able to get Karn's attention.” Shin says as Meloka barely standsAnd that is the smartest observation you made in you're life shin, congratulations.>>5969971Never doubt Meloka's true form, THIS IS TO GO BEYOND FERTILITY GODDESS, A FORM BEYOND MILF
>>5969971Also fuck that smug prick, he was just as mortal as the rest of us.
>>5969980Elder Kai has quite the impression of you from your battle with Beerus. Constantly losing control and rampaging wildly. He didn't think Frost would cheat, he has a... Different view of fighting than Champa. Fuwa does have honor.Yes. Kars is very excited to see your power. And, perhaps... Well. We'll see what happens after Hit.>>5970001He isn't smart, but he does know a thing or two.Ha!>>5970003Why don't you think he's feeling so smug about it? >>5969971>kars is becoming the HYPEBEAST for karnFucking based kekGood shit GD.
>>5970021He's most certainly wants to see what Karn's got now. Especially after seeing Meloka get a new form, he thinks Karn's got one too. And glad you enjoyed, typed those last three tonight.
>>5970031I don't think Kars, or the galaxy, is ready for a Karn transformation past berserker god.
>>5970038>tfw the dragon ball OSTs stop playing and some latin chanting starts instead
>>5970038Honestly if he pulls off that theoretical super form of him combining godhood with his Anti divinity bullshit that we saw way the hell back, karn might very well become the single scariest thing alive.
>>5970031>He's most certainly wants to see what Karn's got now. Especially after seeing Meloka get a new form, he thinks Karn's got one too. And glad you enjoyed, typed those last three tonight.Honesttly the funny thing for me is I know Beerus and Whis didn't say shit about the Merged Berserker Soul OR how it devoured The Soul Of Manus. Most of them probably can't see it and sense it cause of its antidivine nature, but once Kars starts going the Kais are really going to start freaking out when they see how DEEP the Berserker Soul goes.
>>5970056That's definitely a LATE endgame form, GD has been hinting at its existence for a good while now. There's like... a singular official pic of it in existence, it's that one picture of Broly who looks like SSJ3, but his hair is more horizontally spiky and has a greenish-blue tint to it. It's been suggested that this is the true final form waiting for us. I'm guessing we'll have it ready by the ToP.
>>5970152Personally I am still miffed over no TRUE MONKEY berserker form. The ultimate "fuck you" to kais and kamis.
>>5970152
>the divine echelon's faces when they realize shit is about to Get RealI know these guys love gossip. If Zamasu hears about this, he will feel very vindicated about his plan. Maybe even in a bizarro timeline he might find likeminded individuals other than him, himself and he. the part that's the most rich to me is how this is just scratching the surface of mortal audacity in the 7th universe. Karn's file is insane, and he isn't the only one.
>>5970011>Elder Kai has quite the impression of you from your battle with Beerus. Constantly losing control and rampaging wildly. And in typical godling fashion, takes a serface level impression and basses that on everything going forward.
>>5970256I mean, to be fair, if you never saw a gorilla before until yesterday and your first impression was it going apeshit, chances are you'd think the gorilla is always like that and all gorillas would act that way. The gods are ignorant and arrogant, but the first issue could be solved with a bit of knowledge. But its really up to them to seek it out.
>>5970038No. But, fortunately for the universe, neither is Karn.>>5970047Ha.>>5970099They won't get a good judge of its power off of Karn vs Hit. But if Zen-Oh isn't happy with the tournament so far...>>5970152It is a form not anout power. And, once you achieve that, there's no going back[/spoiler.>>5970178That's actually related, but slightly different. With that form Miyashi has complete dominance.>>5970188Possibly, but Kai are cowards.>spoilerWe may see more soon.>>5970256You see a guy get so angry he punches a GoD, a being so far above you he's rampaging mindlessly, it would tint your opinion of them. Not to mention what Karn, truthfully or not had told him of you.>>5970262>But its really up to them to seek it out.And there it is, the major issue with the Kais. Content in their ignorance. Elder Kai is better than most with his knowledge from his fusion, but it also doubled his arrogance.
>>5970269....Karn only talked to Old Kai like...twice I think? You mean that filthy leech Kars?
>>5970279Yes I meant Kars there. Kars has been talking Big on Karn to him. Using that as a lever to get more knowledge earlier, like his newest form.
>>5970293I'm really curious in seeing what's Kars' angle here is. He's always been amicable towards us, long before he himself had even attained divine ki. If I were to guess at his plans right now, it'd probably be something insane like him wanting Karn to grow impossibly powerful, to one day assist him in overthrowing and replacing Whis and Beerus themselves.
>>5970308We've tried / threatened to kill him multiple times I believe.
>>5970308>spoilerMayhaps. Or perhaps he's seeking to elevate another into that position, someone far more like minded and with a visibly similar disdain for the gods.>>5970312Only when he's gotten in your way, like with Nabu. Or when it was a certain Majin wearing his face and attacked you first. Karn has been far less adversarial towards Kars than Chilli or the late Guardian

>>5970470>Better question is CAN you?Based on the bullshit cheese we've experienced and survived, glorified lag switching seems like "annoying gimmick that has to be shut down pretty quickly". If Hit has a cooldown on it, we just have to punish him
>>5970470We've beaten Hit's before, this is a Hit with no info on us.
>>5970476Oh shit, did we? When?
>>5970476I thought we beat a Jotaro. Which is basically a better Hit, really. Am I getting mixed up? We've certainly fought/seen one fight before.
>>5970477When we fought the time patrol>>5970533No, we fought both, I forget which instance we fought him though
>>5970415Berserker-enhanced telekinesis with a side of energy body.Telekinesis is one of the few things we can still use when Energy Body is up, since it's a Force ability instead of a Ki one. Restricting his movements or even outright trying to crush his body with TK is going to SERIOUSLY hamper his ability to operate in time skips. We could also still maintain a good range while doing it by, say, punching the shit out of him telekinetically. Because we probably don't want to be in his timeskip range.Think of it like a fight against Jotaro.
>>5970627>get grabbed by TK>freeze time>the TK is now frozen in time around youWhoopsie.
>>5970642We should test this with Guldo afetrwards actually. It would be really fucking funny if we could just bully Time Stop users like that.
>>5970644There's no way it would be that simple, right? GD wouldn't allow it, right?
>>5970475My advice is rewatch the Vegeta fight to see if he has a recharge timer. Just remember that talking is a free action in anime.>>5970476>>5970477>>5970545You never actually fought Hit. You MET hit at the Time Patrol in your unwilling trip to Conton City, outside the arena. But you've never fought Hit himself. Although, you may have fought a certain Idiot using Time Skip, without knowing what he was doing.>>5970533You got folded by Jotaro when he snuck you, and when you got the upper hand he sent you down into the Abyss in the prison.>>5970627>>5970642I'll just say this on Telekinesis: he skips THROUGH time. He doesn't directly affect the flow of time itself.>>5970644Now that WOULD work, telekinesis would stop someone if they only stopped time, as it doesn't stop your effects. But Time Skip functions differently.>>5970662It's not about what I'd ALLOW, as it would theoretically work against Jotaro/Kars. But Time Skip is only an ability that affects the user. Like King Crimson, that's the closest example of how it works. Hit moves himself through an alternate dimension for that 1/10th of a second, which is why even Jaco couldn't track his movements despite seeing Frost's needle itself from the stands. There's nothing to see for that split-instant.
>>5970701>I'll just say this on Telekinesis: he skips THROUGH time. He doesn't directly affect the flow of time itself.Having watched his fight in the anime for this tournament, Blueku straight up kicks him through "skipped" time and at one point he stands there oraoraoraora'ing Goku in his little skippy dimension. Sure he says that's how it works but it's never really presented that way. The way it is presented is that he is still moving through time. So if there is something impeding him it would still exist in "skipped" time where it should be physically present.Like if I hold my hand out and you run into it it still hurts, right? Same thing as far as I can tell.
>>5970707Yes, were he still in the same dimension. But remember, he can punch from his dimension into the 'real' one, as we see in the Hit/Goku rematch. Speaking of, Hit may not be quite so... Conservative, with his techniques, like he was in the first tournament.
>>5970713That still doesn't explain how anyone who is just "strong" enough can move through his time skip. He's not really skipping time, or transposing himself through it, it really does play out just like someone stopping time. This really does seem more like a "statements VS feats" semantics thing than anything. Because what the ability says it is doing just isn't what it is shown to do. Like if I stepped into the fourth dimension for a moment, the entirety of three dimensional space except for a VERY specific criteria would be completely unable to perceive me, let alone interact with me, even though I could look "down" and perceive and possibly interact with it. Honestly I just hate Super. And the ever escalation of it. I liked when Buu was screaming his way through dimensions because he was a magic bubblegum. I didn't like when they were punching into different dimensions in DBS:Broly or whatever that weird digital effect was just because they were really big numbers. It just doesn't make sense.
>>5970723>That still doesn't explain how anyone who is just "strong" enough can move through his time skip.If it's just a matter of crossing dimensions, Buu and Gotenks proved you can do that at will given enough energy.
>>5970713So we grab him by the throat in his pocket dimension out of sheer assmad audacity, got it
>>5970727I don't recall Gotenks doing that. But it has been a long time since I watched the Buu saga. Buu cheats though. Literally magic. Which is headcannon, I know, but it's significantly less stupid than Me Strong Me Do Whatever.
>>5970732>don't recall Gotenks doing that.As I recall, Goten and Trunks tried to replicate it after Buu escaped the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and could only manage it as Gotenks. Hence why I posited it was just a matter of how much energy was expended while doing it.
>>5970723>Like if I stepped into the fourth dimension for a moment, the entirety of three dimensional space except for a VERY specific criteria would be completely unable to perceive me, let alone interact with me, even though I could look "down" and perceive and possibly interact with it.Yes. That's why I -specifically- mentioned spoiler earlier. Because that is the closest ability to how Time Skip works. Except instead of everyone else still moving through that time, acting as they would have but having no memory, Hit is the only one who 'moves'. He 'skips' past time, moving forward while leaving this universe behind. Jaco even said he saw Hit specifically 'disappear', not that he moved. Guldo may have insights for you, using his Time Freeze. What happens when Guldo freezes time in the moment Hit's skipped forward?>>5970727It took Super Saiyan 3 for Gotenks to be strong enough to scream through dimensions. Anything below SS3 Gotenks can't do it.>>5970730Ha. But no, you're going to have to get a bit more creative once the fight starts. Only advantage you'll have, besides raw power, is Hit will absolutely wait for you to make the first move. That's his style.>>5970732Once you hit certain levels, reality itself is weaker than you are.
>>5970723Hit works on King Crimson rules, but Hit is also a DB character so he isn't made of paper. Honestly I bet toriyama watched Jojo at the time and said he could do better.
>>5970773>Honestly I bet Toriyama watched Jojo at the time and said he could do better.Funnily enough, Hit's anime debut is about 2 years earlier than Part 5's anime adaptation. There's still plenty of time for Toriyama to have read Part 5's manga before production on Super even began however...
soon
>>5971009WOOOOO
>>5970773Kind of. Perhaps fighting against it will better explain how Time Skip works?>>5970786Not out of the realm of possibility. He's taken inspiration from many other works he/friends/family enjoyed before. Just look at the Ginyu Force.>>5971010Yes. I'm excited for this one, we're starting off with a 3x post.
>>5966117Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:The day of the tournament arrived, everyone traveling via Whis' transporter to Beerus' world, picking up the Destroyer then heading to the tournament planet. After a brief argument between the Destoyers and a written test to prove all the fighters had enough intelligence to understand the rules, the tournament began with Meloka taking the lead for Universe 7. Battling her way through Botamo easily, she then was poisoned by the cheater Frost. Universe 6's Freeza equivalent. After him she battled past Magetta, a metal man with lava saliva inside a barrier Champa had erected to keep Meloka from breathing. But she defeated the metal man as well, shattering the barrier with his body. Then, in her fourth fight, exhausted and out of options she showed off a power never before seen from her: Super Saiyan Blue. But, as we rejoin Karn, Meloka has collapsed, reverting back to her base form as she lay still.“Meloka!” you shout, leaping off the platform towards your wife. However, the referee gets between you, arms out.“Hold on. The match hasn't been decided yet!” he declares, not backing down despite your scowl. “We still have the ten count! If you interfere now, she'll be disqualified and Cabba will be allowed another match!”“Tch!” you seethe through clenched teeth but back off, the referee turning back to the downed fighters. “One! Two!”You stand there, feet away from your wife as the referee counts, neither downed fighter stirring even as the count reaches the full ten. The moment it does you call Caulifla down, your daughter muttering the words of her prayer as she flies down. Reaching down, you gingerly scoop your wife up into your arms, the familiar golden warmth of Caulifla's divine power flowing through all of you. The instant it does you feel your wife's shrinking powerlevel stabilize. A few moments later, your daughter casts a healing spell this time, that golden light washing over all five of you, even the referee. Who sighs out in relief, no doubt also feeling better after being trapped by Magetta as well. The other warrior, Cabba then opens his eyes, sitting up and looking around confused a moment before seeing your daughter.“Oh, I guess I was knocked out again.” he says, sounding dejected until he sees your leg. Following it up he sees Meloka in your arms, his eyes widening. “What happened?”“You lost. She gave it everything she had left to take you down.” you tell the younger man as Caulifla holds out a hand, helping him up to his feet. Where Caulifla and you both dwarf him. “Shame you and I didn't get to fight. Maybe next time.”cont
>>5971055“Next time? Wait, maybe after all this is over, you all can come to Planet Sadala?” the young man asks, a hopeful look in his eye. “I would like to learn this power, this “Super Saiyan God” might she wielded as well. With power like that, I would be able to help a lot of people.”“I think that could be arranged.” you say, giving him a small nod before turning. Flying up off the arena, you take your wife over to where the rest of your family are, laying her on the grass instead of the tile floor of the competitors' waiting platforms.“Be careful, Daddy. Hit's dangerous.” Future Chaya tells you, her expression serious. “He's not a fighter, he's an assassin. The most dangerous assassin in Universe 6, perhaps in ANY universe.”“Don't worry, I won't lose.” you tell her, giving your unconscious wife a kiss on the forehead before lowering a hand to her, ready to give her your energy. But before you can Chaya steps in, pulling your hand away.“Wait Dad, your energy's anti-divine, remember?” she says, sounding a bit nervous. “Please, let me. My ki's more like hers, and will help her more.”“Please do.” you tell her, Chaya nodding then clenching her fists, ascending into her semi-divine state. But, surprisingly she doesn't stop there, veins bulging in her forehead and down her neck, all the way to her hands as she focuses her energy. To your surprise her ki almost entirely vanishes as her hair starts turning blue! She doesn't fully ascend to Super Saiyan Blue like her mother, but you can clearly tell she's at least partially there. And as she kneels down, laying a hand over her mother's heart and starts channeling her power, no one looks more surprised than Whis and Beerus.“Whis. Doesn't her power feel awfully similar to what Meloka just did?” Beerus asks, the angel nodding out of the corner of your eye.“Yes. It would seem that their powers converge at that point, more or less.” Whis replies. “Perhaps we underestimated her potential.”“Go on Dad, I've got her.” your eldest says to you. “Go kick his ass.”“Right.” you answer, ruffling her hair before standing, turning back to the arena and leaping down. Your children and allies' calls and cheers follow you as you fly back down to the arena, it once again magically repaired to perfect condition between matches.“And now, for the last but certainly not least for the Sixth Universe! Contestant Hit!” he shouts, the purple alien wearing the long coat finally rising up to his feet, walking towards the edge of Champa's platform.“That's the one! Take him down Hit!” Champa calls, a note of desperation in his voice. “Don't let him beat you, no matter what!”cont
>>5971056“Good grief.” Hit says as he steps forward, landing lightly on his toes. The man raises his head to meet your gaze, showing absolutely no hint of fear or even uncertainty. Whoever this 'Hit' is, he's certainly quite sure of himself. But so was every other fighter so far, and they weren't anything special. Yet, as he stands there, you can just feel how dangerous this man is. Unlike the others he's a killer; he'd kill you and have forgotten your name by tomorrow. Ending a life to this being is nothing more noteworthy than taking a breath, you'd better be careful.“This is it Karn, bring this tournament home!” Beerus cheers, the Destroyer cheering YOUR name catching you by surprise a bit. “Show my brother who's boss!”“Don't you dare lose, Hit!” Champa calls out desperately. “If we lose this tournament, I'm gonna Destroy the lot of you! Got it?”“Both fighters ready?” the announcer asks, raising his free hand once more. Beerus idly fires a beam up into the gong, causing it to ring out once more as the announcer starts dropping his hand. “BEGIN!”But how do you start this fight?>Immediately power up into your Berserker God form, start this fight at full power>Activate your Energy Body, strengthen your defenses before the assassin can hopefully get a single attack off>Rush in and transform into your first Berserker form right as you close the distance. >>5971057“GRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, wasting no time and immediately tapping into the full extent of your Berserker God powers. Your strength surges, body explosively expanding into your full height as your power soars. Yet, as you transform Hit doesn't so much as move, remaining standing still with his arms down by his sides as you take on your strongest form.“Hit, what are you doing?! Take him down now!” Champa roars, yet the assassin seems completely unperturbed. You finish your transformation, towering over the assassin who seems completely disinterested.“So, you transform as well.” he says as if commenting on the weather, taking his own fighting stance. It is a tall, narrow stance, both arms up defensively and almost in line, right leg and fist forward. But with how his feet are planted, you doubt that he's going for any kicks. Seem his fists are his weapons here. So, you take your own fighting stance, staring him down.Silence.No one makes a sound, all the attendees silent as you and this assassin stare each other down. The only sound that can be heard is your aura blazing around you, the lightning crackling through it as you square up against the smaller man. Hit is almost deathly still, even his breaths are nearly imperceptible as he stares you down, unblinking. This goes on for several seconds, your rage growing by the second as he refuses to move. Your anger burns hotter as he is still as a rock, the tension in your body growing unbearable as he remains motionless.“Tch! If you won't attack, I will!” you roar, exploding off the ground at the assassin. You close the distance almost instantly, firing a blindingly fast left jab. But right at the instant of impact Hit is simply gone! Before you even fully process this, suddenly there is a sharp pain in your left temple, the surprise blow snapping your head to the right and staggering you a step. But you step into it, spinning clockwise with a right backfist towards the attack, only for your fist to pass through air. There's no one there, only for the assassin to reappear, fist punching into your neck. “Gahck?!”The blow staggers you back a couple of steps, clutching subconsciously at your neck as he drops back to the ground. You see that he's punching a bit differently, his first knuckle pointed out. Driving all the power of his strike behind that one point, which explains partially why, despite his far lower powerlevel, his strikes still sting. As Hit lands he returns to his stance, you covering your neck with your right as you return to your own stance, left arm up defensively.cont
>>5971126“Kah! Y-You're pretty fast, I'll give you that.” you cough, trying to talk past the pain in your throat. Lowering your right hand back, retaking your fighting stance as you watch the assassin more warily. “You caught me by surprise. Wasn't expecting you to move so fast.”But Hit doesn't acknowledge you speaking, remaining motionless as he stares you down. His silence is unsettling, just waiting for you to move so he can attack again. Pondering this you come up with a plan, readying yourself to charge in when he finally speaks.“Have you formulated your plan of attack?” he asks casually, causing you to hesitate. Could he tell you were planning? Does he know what you're about to do? Well, only one way to find out.“Let's find out.” you reply, focusing your ki sense on Hit's energy before again kicking off the ground directly towards him. This time you draw your right back, projecting a powerful right, but just before you get into his range you move. Leaving an afterimage in the split second you raise your right to your forehead, using your Instant Transmission to teleport up above and behind the assassin. Where you continue your attack, swinging your right elbow for the back of Hit's head. Only, in the moment your attack would have made contact, he's again gone. Not just gone from sight, but for an instant you couldn't sense his ki anymore either. “Wha-?!”But in that instant he suddenly reappears, right fist's first knuckle stabbing into your face just below your nose. The shock of the impact snaps your head back, you using the momentum to flip backwards and kick up at him with your right leg. Only to sense his ki again momentarily vanish, reappearing as he drives his pointed punch into your left temple once again. This time, with your feet not on the ground the attack knocks you back, sending your tumbling across the ground. You land in a roll, tumbling over a few times before getting your feet back under you, rising and sliding to a stop a couple dozen yards from the assassin. Who is still standing where he'd attacked you from, arm still extended.“DADDY!” Future Chaya shouts, sounding shocked that you were knocked down. Other voices can be heard calling out in concerned tones as well, you focusing them out as you stare the assassin down again. Slowly he lowers his arm, returning to his defensive stance once more. His attacks are surprisingly sharp, despite the power gap he's getting you in just the right spots to make them hurt. Leaving you wondering if he usually blades his knuckle with ki, punching straight into lethal spots with a single attack?cont
>>5971129“Give up. You cannot win.” he tells you, remaining in his fighting stance.“Oh yeah? You haven't seen what -I- can do yet.” you reply, returning to your own stance. Once more the two of you stare each other down, your family cheering you on a dull roar to your senses. In the moment of attack he seemingly disappears, almost like he's using Instant Transmission to teleport his attacks to you. But, for just a split second he and even his energy completely vanish, disappearing without even a trace. With Instant Transmission you can sense someone's ki the moment before they appear, but whatever Hit's doing, his technique doesn't share that weakness. But what do you do? >>5971156>>5971157Holy fucking shit. I just tuned in and lo and behold, the most insane set of rolls since we schooled Frieza with the 100-100-99-99 whammy.
>>5971056Huh, so Rage can eventually turn into Blue. Makes sense. I guess this is how you would explain Vegeta just sort of ‘learning’ god ki in canon without the ritual? So in the end, SSG is more or less a shortcut to the same end goal.
>>5971205Chaya did need a LOT of faith to reach this level. And whereas her fans all have faith, in Trunks' time he's ALL they've got, so each person gives him far MORE faith individually. As for Vegeta, well. That's more Whis's doing than anything.
>>5971207>>5971131“Now I'll show you what I can do! HAAAA!” you roar, blazing your emerald aura up around you as you power up to one hundred percent. Then, crossing your arms you begin condensing your aura, reshaping it into your armored Energy Body. Hit remains motionless as you finish your technique, eyes narrowing slightly. Now, with your armor back up you retake your fighting stance, the assassin remaining still. “Now, let's see if you can so much as scratch me.”“Condensing your aura into armor, to mitigate the damage from my attacks.” Hit says, still not adjusting himself. “If this is your big strategy, then you might as well quit now.”“Nah, this is just to make sure I can-” you say, talking casually then exploding forward. Trying to catch him at least slightly off guard. But it doesn't work, the assassin vanishing the moment your right fist would have hit him. The same instant, you feel a dull pain spike in your right temple. The same moment you swing back with your right elbow, but again strike nothing as his energy once again vanishes. Reappearing behind you several feet away, you sliding to a stop and spinning to face him. Hit remains standing in his stance, arms up defensively and staring at you. “Heh. Seems I won't catch you so easily.”But again Hit doesn't talk, simply staring at you while maintaining his stance. Annoying as it is, being unable to rattle him or even get a reaction, you return to your stance, staring him down. Only for Guldo of all people to suddenly reach out to you telepathically.“Be careful Karn. Somehow that fighter's leaving reality behind.” he thinks to you, catching you by surprise. “I managed to stop time right at the moment he vanished from your elbow strike. But he wasn't anywhere to be found! His ki, nothing! It's like he's slipping through dimensions, or leaving our time altogether and reappearing in a different spot.”“Thanks for the head's up. I'll take it from here.” you reply telepathically, ending the link and smirking. Now that you have a better idea what he's doing, you suddenly have an idea how to stop him.“Finished formulating your next plan of attack?” the assassin asks, you drawing your right fist back. He sees this and his eyes widen a bit, you throwing your fist forward.“HAAA!” you roar, punching so hard, so fast that it slices through the air itself. The shock wave from your punch flies directly at the assassin's chest, but once more he disappears. The instant he does you launch yourself forward, closing the distance to where he was. He then reappears, seeing you charging and before he can use his technique again you swing. The assassin crosses his arms, your left fist crashing into his guard. Punching through his hasty block, knocking his arms back into his chest and sending him flying!cont
>>5971208“Guuh!?” he exclaims as his feet leave the ground, knocking him all the way back to the edge of the arena. You charge after him, Hit flipping once and landing on a single foot at the very edge. Closing in you try for another right, causing him to vanish. But it was a feint, stopping your blow you go into your right elbow strike again. Feeling your attack strike something solid, you glance over and see your elbow met his fist before he could fully punch forward, the assassin wincing from the contact. “What?!”“GOT YOU!” you roar, following up your elbow by snapping your forearm back. Hit tries to evade your backfist by leaning back but is too slow, your knuckles slamming into his right cheek and knocking the assassin off his feet. Tumbling through the air uncontrollably, Hit is unable to recover before you've closed back in. Firing up with a rising left knee to his spine, followed up with a powerful double overhead with your fingers laced together to his chest. Slamming the Sixth's most powerful fighter into the arena floor so hard it craters, the assassin disappearing in the sudden smoke cloud. But you're not done, dashing down and firing a powerful right where you sense the assassin's ki is. However, right as you're about to hit him he vanishes once more, your fist slamming into the floor instead. Smashing the ground further and kicking up even more smoke. However, as Hit's energy reappears you realize that something's wrong. You can sense his energy, but it's fainter. As if he's suppressing it. Then you sense it from two locations simultaneously, then three, four, six, to well over a dozen all at once. “What the hell?”You look back and forth, trying to figure out where he is, then decide this smoke has to go. Swinging your right arm out to your side while stepping slightly back with your right foot, you blow the cloud of dust away. Only to see Hit standing a dozen feet away, now directly in front of you, his own right drawn back. Punching forward, he seemingly fires a wave of distortion through the air, it catching you right below the center of your ribcage. And, even through your Energy Body, enough force from the blow gets through to knock the wind out of your lungs. You gasp but can't get any air, dropping to a knee as you have a horrific realization: had you not had your armor up, he might have just put a hole straight through your chest! As you fall, clutching at your chest with your left Hit has closed the distance once again, again driving his single-point punch straight into your right temple. Winded, you weakly try to fire back with another right backfist, but he's already gone, disappearing out of your range to reappear in front of you, this time firing his left into your throat!cont
>>5971209“Khhlck!” you cough, spit spraying while reaching up with your left. Catching his wrist before he can pull his arm back. You see his eyes widen at this as you glare into his face, waiting to see what he's going to try next. And, to your surprise, suddenly his eyes glow red and his arm's just... Gone. Your hand closes on nothing, passing through the space his arm was a moment ago.Glancing down, his arm hasn't moved, even his ki is still in the same place, but you simply can't touch him. Immediately you try throwing a rising right uppercut, but your punch also passes straight through his chest and head as if they weren't even there. You feel your eyes widen in shock as your attack that SHOULD have hit doesn't, twisting around into a left back kick that also makes no contact followed by a left elbow into a flurry of punches. But nothing's working! Then, all of a sudden he vanishes, a SECOND one of those powerful strikes like his earlier gut shot landing the instant he does. This time from the left, striking you square in the temple and sending you flying. The shock causes you to gasp in pain, hitting the arena floor and tumbling across it until suddenly the floor disappears from beneath you. Realizing that you're about to lose the fight by a stupid ring out you swing out desperately with your left, barely managing to catch hold of the arena and keep yourself from falling off.“Dammit!” you snarl, pulling yourself up with one hand and landing gently back on your feet. Only to see Hit standing next to the crater, once again back in that narrow fighting stance. But, something about his expression seems... Different than it had a moment ago. There's a small hint of joy in his gaze as he looks to you, perhaps he's starting to enjoy himself? But that doesn't help you out, at that blow really rocked you. If your Energy Body wasn't active, you aren't sure if your head would still be attached to your shoulders, much less alive. Panting, you return to your fighting stance, no where but out of the ring behind you as the assassin stares you down. Only to notice he's no longer as still as he was, wincing on the inhale. Your attacks are getting to him too, you just have to keep going. But what do you do now?>Keep up the pressure, don't give him any time to recover. >>5971211“Haaah, haaah, heh. If that's all you've got, I've got this win secured.” you say, rising back up to your full height. Taking a deep, calming breath to get your breathing correct. You then draw your arms back, sighing out while returning to your fighting stance, getting your balance and bracing yourself. Then you pour everything you've got into your Energy Body as your next inhale reaches its peak, thickening your armor into its unyielding, unmoving variant before reaching out to him telepathically. “Come on, hit me with your best shot!”“Hmph. A foolish play.” Hit says, drawing his right back once again. You can feel his power rise, seeing his aura begin appearing around him in faint purple. Then he swings, thrusting his right fist forward. Firing another spacial distortion, the same color as his dark purple aura. Even if you hadn't activated your armor you wouldn't have to dodge, the distortion slamming into your armor. It packs so much power you feel it even through the armor as if it weren't even there, yet through the pain maintain your proper breathing. Feeling strength flow into your limbs, the pain of the repeated impacts to the same spots receding. Watching Hit, he seems genuinely surprised that his attack didn't get a reaction, the assassin grimacing. Then he starts punching in different directions, his blow's energy appearing in the opposite direction he punches, those spacial distortion strikes hitting you from several different angles.Yet none pack the same power as the first one, you barely feeling these hits. Allowing you to better focus on your own breathing, the faint golden glow around your body hidden by the glow of your emerald Unmovable Energy Body. He strikes you over a dozen times before stopping, looking at you curiously. Then, to your surprise, he puts his hands in his pockets.“Wh-What's this? While contestant Karn remains unmoving, contestant Hit has taken a far more casual stance, putting his hands into his pockets!” the announcer shouts. “What could this mean?”“If my opponent employs a technique where they can no longer attack or move, but refuses to leave the ring, does that mean I win?” Hit suddenly asks, catching you by surprise. He doesn't take his eyes off you, but is clearly asking the referee. “Killing is not permitted, and I cannot get him out of that technique any other way.”“Yeah, that's right ref! He's incapacitated by his own technique! Start the count!” Champa calls, excitement in his voice. “If he's too afraid to keep fighting, disqualify him!”cont
>>5971295“That's the stupidest excuse I've ever heard of! Using defensive techniques is allowed!” Beerus shoots back, the Destroyers getting louder and louder as they rise off their podiums, getting into each other's faces and shouting. Yet, while the referee looks back and forth, Hit keeps his gaze fixed on you. So, you decide to back off your technique, reverting it back to the normal Energy Body as you shout. Loud enough for both Destroyers to hear you.“What's the problem with my technique? You were doing the same thing!” you declare, both Beerus and Champa freezing mid-argument and looking down. “I can't hit you when you flee into that other dimension or whatever it is you've been doing, how you're making yourself untouchable. Just as you can't hit me through my armor. If my technique isn't allowed, then by definition neither is yours.”“Heh, so you figured it out, huh?” he asks, actually pulling his hands back out of his pockets. “Interesting. Very well, I won't use my Tides of Time if you won't use that unbreakable armor barrier. But that doesn't mean I won't keep using my Time Skip.”“And I'm not dropping my Energy Body completely.” you reply, leaving the technique active but not to Unmovable's level, retaking your fighting stance. “Now, show me what you've got.”But Hit doesn't retake his stance, instead clenching his fists by his sides.“HAAAAAAAA!!” he shouts, aura blazing up around him wildly as if he's going to transform. But, instead of changing, you feel his strength rise slightly, then his shout stops. But he starts looking down at his right hand, opening and closing it several times before looking back up to you. “Bring it.”The assassin then retakes his fighting stance, you both staring each other down once more. You recovered quite a bit through your shielding, but he's no doubt rested up as well. Giving up your guaranteed protection from anything he's got is a small price to pay to keep him from doing that intangible technique again. Putting you both back on even-ish footing. But what do you do now?>Rush in and attack once more, go right back to laying on the pressure. >>5971299>>5971306Supporting this. We can't do the Red Dawn instantly, and Hit would probably do something funny while we're vulnerable if we go for that attack
One thing I've always wondered is why we've never tried to punch with telekinesis. Always just grabbing and pushing. Make it a fist sized area and make it move really fast and you're basically punching instead of just throwing a fat wave of pure kinetic energy at something. And it's not like you have to throw a punch to do it. You can "pull" with it and hit someone in the back. All we need to do is do it once and then someone has to be on guard for every single gesture we make. Mind games are fun.>>5971297>>Gesture for him to come at you this time, see if you can defend against his offense and land powerful countersAll we really need to do is get his timing down and hit him really REALLY fucking hard. He's not used to people actually being able to fight back against him so he's inevitably going to fit into a routine when he attacks.

>>5971297As he stands there, raising his hands back into his fighting stance, you ponder your next move. You could always try and force the ring out, expelling your energy out in all directions. But he could probably get you in that moment while your Energy Body's down, and if you take some of his hits. So, instead, you decide to try something else. He's not the only one who can use unseen tricks.“If you won't come to me, then I'll take the initiative!” you shout, kicking off the ground towards him. Left arm forward, right back you then use your telekinesis, grabbing his right arm. Hit's eyes widen as he feels the contact, but before he can react further you jerk his arm towards his left side, pinning his arm to his chest.“What?!” he exclaims, looking down as his arm moves against his will. Leaving him wide open, you crossing the rest of the distance and slamming your right fist square into his face. “Guuaaaaah!!”Your heavy blow sends him flying back, Hit soaring all the way to the far edge of the arena before flipping backwards, landing right on the edge with his right foot. But you're already closing in, once again using your telekinesis to grab his ankle. Jerking his foot out from underneath him, causing the assassin to fall as you close in and swing. However, right at the last moment, when your right would have made contact with his face, he vanishes. For a split second his energy's gone, reappearing behind you.“HAAAA!” you shout, firing a left back kick towards his energy. Only for Hit to vanish again, reappearing right in front of you, driving his single point punch right into the softer bone above your teeth and below your nose. Snapping your head back and stealing your balance, causing you to waver on the edge of the ring. Hit follows up his strike with a second, then a third and a fourth, hitting you in the left temple, the throat and left temple again in rapid succession. The force of which, even through your Energy Body rocks you, causing you to completely lose your balance and fall. Except your upper body is off the arena! “DAMMIT!”With sheer will you twist your upper body, throwing out your right and grabbing Hit with your telekinesis. Using your grip on him, on pulling him down towards you to avoid falling off. He notices this immediately, using that technique to vanish once more. But you bought yourself all the time you needed, catching yourself with your flight and rising up away from the ground as he reappears a few yards back.“So, you possess telekinesis as well? This is starting to prove troublesome.” he says, returning to his fighting stance. “I'm going to have to end this quickly.”cont
>>5971414“Oh yeah? Bring it on!” you shout, reaching out towards him with telekinesis once more. He doesn't resist, you jerking him across the arena floor towards yourself with a right handed gesture, drawing him in. However, knowing what he's going to do you don't bring him all the way to you, instead keeping him back and firing another shock wave punch directly at his chest. But it would seem he wasn't expecting that, the sudden blast to his chest catching him completely off guard. Stopping him before he could activate his technique. “You're mine!”Capitalizing on the opening you blitz forward, following up the shock wave punch with a real one to his jaw, courtesy of your left fist. Your heavy blow knocks him back a step, you launching into a barrage of strikes. Which Hit tries to defend himself against, but dazed and winded by the one-two you'd hit him with, his guard is weak. Allowing you to land over two dozen blows before Hit recovers, the assassin beginning to weave through your barrage of strikes. His movements are excellent, not trying to block your strikes by pitting his power against yours, but more akin to the Su Ma. Pushing himself out of the way of your strikes, with his arms, expression deadly calm. You'd been hoping to rattle him at least slightly. Yet his movements improve by the second, after three he's moving like you never hit him. And then, with a left aimed at his temple, once more he vanishes. Disappearing out of range, back a few yards away.“Tch!” you seethe through clenched teeth as your left passes harmlessly through the air, you taking a small step to keep your balance then returning to your fighting stance. However, Hit seems more interested in his hand, again opening and closing it curiously. “What's so interesting? Shouldn't you keep your attention on the fight?”“With this place, with these rules, I have had to reconsider some things.” the man says, almost not to you. “But, thanks to that, I now know how I will win.”“Oh yeah? Then why don't you show me?” you ask, readying yourself for whatever trick he's got next. But then he's simply gone. You have time to blink before, all at once you feel like you've been hit hundreds of times by his powerful strikes, the wind knocked out of your lungs and your bells rang, falling disoriented and barely-conscious to land face-first on the arena tiles below.“....egal to kill him, is...” you hear a voice faintly as the world swims around, the voice distorted beyond all recognition. What in the world happened?“wo, three, four...!” another, different voice calls, it sounding different than the first one you'd heard. What in the world is going on, who is counting? Why are they counting, can't they just let you go back to sleep? But then, through the weird noises, a voice rings through loud and clear. One you recognize instantly.“KARN! GET UUUUP!”cont
>>5971419“Mel...O...Ka...” you mutter, recognizing yourwife's shout through the haze in your mind. Suddenly, you remember what happened, blinking and finding yourself face-down on the ground. Shit, did you get knocked out?“SEVEN!” the announcer shouts, you realizing he's counting for you! If you don't get back up, you're going to lose. So, gritting your teeth you plant your palms on the tiles, pushing yourself up onto a knee shakily. “EIGH-What's this?! Contestant Karn begins to rise! Can he still compete?”“I'm. Not. Done.” you say, getting a foot underneath yourself, planting your hands on your knees and rising up to your feet. The sounds of cheering can be heard distantly through the ringing in your head, your vision swimming. But you see the man standing behind the announcer, and for just a brief moment through everything swimming see a look of fear on his face. He clearly hadn't expected you to be able to get up after, well, whatever it was he did to you. Rising up to your full height, arms hanging limply by your sides, you're back up. “Not yet.”“Impossible.” Hit mutters, the announcer running up to you.“Contestant Karn! Do you still have the strength to continue the match?” he asks you. Looking down at him a moment you then look up, past him to the assassin standing there, waiting. “Can you keep fighting?”“You should stand down. I don't want to accidentally kill you.” Hit says, the tone in his voice catching you by surprise. The hardened killer, NOT wanting to kill someone? “Because of your tenacity, you've pushed me to do something I never thought was possible. But, because of that, you can't compete against what I am now. Give up, there's no reason to keep going.”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvtowY2d0MY“No reason? Shows what little you know.” you say, your vision returning more to normal as you retake your fighting stance. “I don't know if you can hear them, but that's my family up there. Every single one of them believe in me, that I can beat you. That no matter what happens, no matter how bad things get, that I'll be the one still standing. That no matter how bad things get, that I'll be there to save them. And I'm Not! About to Let Them DOOOWN!!”With a shout you draw upon everything you've got, aura blazing as it shatters what was left of your Energy Body. Uh guys, we don't know if 3 actually is Berserker Oozaru, and even if it is, we aren't allowed to kill Hit or fall out of the arena, which its out of control nature makes very likely. Its definitly something to try out at SOME POINT with Beerus and Whis nearby, but not now, IF thats what this option is.
really, guys? Hit might just end it while we're distracted.

>>5971443Pretty sure we had this talk ages ago with GD when everything was put up to a vote for which path to power we should pursue and that mixing the paths was basically a non-starter because there wouldn't be enough time in quest to actually get it together. Basically a "post quest" idea.Big bummer.
>>5971448This isn't a Som quest, GD very rarely gives us trap options, especially after such a hype scene that preceded this vote.Just go for it you all, our best powerups and attacks have always been born of desperation and "fuck it we ball" energy.
I think trying to tap into the unseen depths of the Berserker Soul it gained after consuming Manus is more hype but I guess we'll see.

No Primal God Berserker I guess. It's not like we can't tap into the depths of the Berserker Soul in the future, whereas this opportunity might straight up not arise again.

>>5971422“You think you've already won? Well, I guess it's time for you to learn.” you say, closing your eyes and taking a deep breath in. Slowly exhaling, you cross your arms before you, digging deep. You dive deeper than ever into your Berserker Soul, drawing forth everything. Wholly immersing yourself into that power, you feel yourself hit an unfamiliar wall. One keeping you back, preventing you from drawing forth more strength from the Berserker Soul. But you know that it has more to give, you just have to get through. However, as you keep trying to get through, to tap into that further strength, suddenly you realize what it is that's keeping you back. That wall, is you. Or, specifically, it is the suppression of your anger, of your rage that is preventing you from getting everything you could from your power. Remembering back to your battle with Dumplin, with Chronoa, how you hadn't held anything back. Unleashing your full, unbridled wrath on them, seeking nothing more than their destruction. And if you want to beat Hit, you're going to have to do the same thing. So, opening your eyes, you quit restraining your anger, and let it burst forth! You give in to your rage, no longer restraining it, but letting your wrath become manifest. Everything goes red, your vision narrowing until all you can see is HIM.. “GRRRROOOOAAAAAAAAA!!!”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mxQEWLZkQs“What?!” he exclaims as your power surges, the arena shattering around you. Your power swells, growing as it begins warping everything inside this space. Colors distort over and over before leaving everything tinted in your power's blazing emerald, the assassin taking a frightful step back. Which is your cue to strike.“HRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, exploding forward. Hit tries to activate his technique, but before he can you've closed the distance. Slamming your right fist square into his face, driving him straight down into the arena floor. He hits so hard he bounces, ricocheting off the ground back up to your eye level. To which you twist, bringing your left fist up into his back, sending the assassin skyward. He tumbles uncontrollably through the air, smashing into one of the floating pictures of the stupid gods. But you're not done, blitzing forward once again. This time he manages to disappear away right as your right slams into where his head was, punching straight through it. Only for Hit's fist to reappear, pressed into your right temple. Your vision blurs, but this only further increases your rage. Before he can disappear again you twist counterclockwise, smashing your forearm into his body and slamming him into the portrait once more. Keeping him pinned you continue your spin, driving your fist at his head again. Forcing him once more to disappear, this time your punch shattering the entire portrait. “GRRROOOOAAAAAAAAA!!”cont
>>5971550“Wh-Wh-What ARE you?!” you hear some coward cry, glancing aside at the fat creature cowering in fear. But you pay it no mind, that's not the one you're going to destroy. Looking around, you see plenty of people, but then on the arena below see your target. He takes that same stupid stance, you roaring at the sky before blazing down towards him once more. You're going to make! Him! PAY!“DIE!” you roar, throwing your right forward and unleashing a massive wave of ki directly down at him. The man leaps into the air, you stopping the beam and blitzing him. Before he can look up and see you you've already closed the distance, slamming your right forearm into his chest with a roar. “RRRAAAAAAAA!!”Dashing forward with him pinned to his arm you swing him at the other floating portrait, driving him straight through it horizontally as it crumbles beneath your power. Swinging him through it then launching him down at the arena floor below.“GRRRAAHAAHAAHAAA!” you laugh, again gathering your ki into your right hand, this time firing your Scattershot down. Blanketing the entire arena, covering the entire thing in explosions. Over and over you fire, unleashing more and more power down. Only to suddenly feel your head snap back and forth as if you suddenly got punched from both sides simultaneously. But this only makes you angrier, as from the corner of your eye you see that damned assassin. “HRRRAAAAAAA!!”Letting your rage explode forth, your ki erupts from your body in all directions. Before he can disappear he's caught in the blast. His cry of pain making you want more! Ending the blast, you see his body dropping towards the arena. But that's too easy, you dashing down after him. Catching him on his descent and palming his face, you add your own momentum to the attack. Slamming his head through the tiles of the stage, trying to crush him flat. Too bad the tiles are so weak they don't end him, so with the warrior still in your grip you stand up to your full height, holding him in one hand.“Is this the best you can do?!” you taunt, squeezing his head until he screams out in pain. Then, right before you crush his head you let go, dropping him into a full-body left uppercut to the chin. However, right as your attack was going to hit, suddenly your fist passes right through him! “What?!”Then, as your attack passes through him feel a powerful shot straight to your chest. Directly into your heart, causing you to cough up blood as it knocks you back a step. The sight of which, of your glowing green blood flying through the air as your chest begins to burn, only serves to further infuriate you.cont
>>5971551“Kaah-! Tch! YOU!!” you snarl, planting your foot behind you and launching yourself forward. Much to his surprise, his right arm still outstretched as if he thought THAT was enough to stop YOU. “GRRRAAAAAAA!!”Before he can react, your right fist lands square in his face. Bones break, you driving him back down into the arena floor beneath you both. Smashing him down with so much force the tiles explode into dust, obscuring his form from you. But you know where he is.“HRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, swing down at him with your left. But, as you do, suddenly you find yourself trapped! You can't move!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hcwo7BuK-1k“Guuuah. Huuuh. M-Monster.” the man says, his right hand held out towards you. His energy is blazing there, energy unlike anything you've felt before. “You. Must. Be stopped.”Your anger blazes even more at this, how DARE he try and stop you! But you can't make yourself move, it's as if you're frozen in place. Watching powerlessly as he manages to get back up to his feet, shakily holding his arm outstretched towards you.“Referee. I have. Incapacitated. Him.” he continues, looking completely exhausted. Reaching up with his left, bracing his right forearm. “Start the count. Hurry!”“R-Right. One! Two!” another voice calls out, starting the count. You're going to break him.But how? What do you do?>Unleash everything you've got in one final explosion of power, destroy his energy keeping you trapped with your overflowing power>Fire your Guided Eye Beams, aiming them at his right arm and that power he's gathering. >>5971552“Three!” the referee continues as you struggle fruitlessly to move, as the burning in your chest keeps getting worse. Whatever power his is using to immobilize you is unlike anything you've ever felt. It feels almost like the gravity chamber, except it presses on you from all sides all at once. Trying to keep you exactly in place, unable to move. “Four!”Straining against it with everything you've got, you just can't break free. So, instead of trying to move all of you all at once, you focus all of your power into your left arm and try to draw it back in. The strain is immense, it feeling as if you're going to tear your own arm off. But slowly you feel yourself moving, your burning rage overpowering this strange power. At first you barely move, then can feel your arm move by about an inch, and then another. Then, as the referee gets to five, you hear Hit exclaim.“No way...!” he says, his feet leaving your downward looking view as he backs away.“Huh? What is-Oh! It seems contestant Karn STILL won't quit!” the announcer calls as you keep drawing your left to your side, then once it's mostly down you focus on your head and neck. Raising your head so you're no longer looking at the hole you'd made with Hit's skull, but back up to the assassin. Who looks terrified, slack-jawed at your ability to keep moving. “Even through the restraint of some kind that contestant Hit has bound his competitor with, contestant Karn is somehow powering through!”“Get back!” the assassin shouts, the referee looking back over to him then running back, getting clear. Leaving a wide open space between you both as the assassin mutters to himself, just barely in earshot. “I can't keep this up, I'll have to gamble it all on one final attack.”Then, while you're still struggling to move, the assassin suddenly lunges forward. He thrusts directly at you with the orb of energy in his hand, you unleashing all of your rage and anger, everything you've got left into your right. And with all of your might thrust your right hand forward, catching his energy orb in your right palm.“WHAT?!” he shouts, eyes going wide with fear. He's so shocked that he doesn't back off in time, you forcing your fingers to close around the orb. He then looks down, seeing your grip on his attack and his face pales, looking back up from it to you in horror. “N-No way-!”cont
>>5971679“G-Tch-Kuuh! Y-You think. This. Can stop. ME?!” you snarl, putting everything into your hand. Crushing the orb in your hand, shattering the energy he gathered. An instant later that energy binding you dissipates, the assassin stepping back in fear. You take a single step towards him, but as you do suddenly the world starts spinning. Your vision starts fading, power dropping as you feel your consciousness slipping. You take another step, planting your feet and reaching out for him, to try and grab onto him and drag him down with you, but then everything goes dark. The last thing you remember is the look on his face, the sheer terror in the assassin's eyes as you keep moving forward.Only to find yourself back in a familiar void, except this time you're alone. Looking around, there is no one else, not even the familiar glow of your Berserker Soul. Which is strange, you've not been to this place by yourself for a very long time. You wonder how you got here, the last thing you remember was deciding to stop holding back, to fully unleash your anger, but now you're here. You wonder for a moment if you won the fight or not, and if you lost how Chilli will fare. You think you weakened him quite a bit, but your son might not be able to fight against someone who can take your attacks. Not non-lethally, anyways. But then, after a few more moments pondering what happened, you hear a familiar voice from behind you.“Ah, there you are. I must say, your tenacity continues to impress.” Mechikabura says as you turn, seeing the true Demon God smiling at you. Even with a stopped heart, you managed to break through time itself. Impressive.”“Wait, what? Stopped heart?” you ask, suddenly worried. “He stopped my heart?”“Yes, with his last attack. After you brutalized him across the arena.” Mechikabura says, summoning his crystal ball and showing you what happened after you'd unleashed your rage. You watch as you rampage, then as you pick him up by his head, readying for a devastating uppercut he cheats, using that dimension shifting power again. Then, as he fires another of those dimensional attacks into your chest, you coughing up a bit of blood, he stops it. “There. At this moment, he stopped your heart.”But then he continues playing it, you watching yourself slam him into the arena and go for a kill shot of your own. Only for him to freeze you in some sort of reverse Energy Body, like the technique your wife uses.“This is the infamous Hit's Time Prison technique. Where he uses all his bottled up time and... How best to explain it?” he ponders a second. “It is as if he uses all the time he's stored within himself as weights, weighing you down and keeping you trapped within a single moment of time. Unfortunately for him, however, time has little power over you now.”cont
>>5971681You watch as, snarling furiously, you begin overpowering the trap, eventually catching and shattering the assassin's technique when he goes for the finisher. But, before you can do anything else, you sense that you in the orb's power suddenly plummet dramatically. Yet you still don't stop, taking a step towards him, then another. Then a third, a fourth, even a fifth. The assassin continues backing up, too terrified to look away, to act as you keep going. Only to suddenly step back off the arena, the shock snapping him back to reality and catching himself. He turns back, only to see you still walking forward, snarl on your face. Until your now clearly-unconscious body walks right off, falling to the ground outside the ring before the assassin. The referee runs over, calling the match.“Damn, I really lost.” you say, wishing you'd been able to take him out for your son. But as you keep watching, Meloka rushes to you, but something's wrong. You see her checking for your pulse, eyes going wide with fear. Oh, oh no. “Hold on.”“Yes. For a minute there, you actually died.” Mechikabura says, a note of mirth in his tone as he says it. “But even dying didn't stop you, not for a few seconds. You were technically dead after the third step.”“Does that mean-?” you start, Mechikabura shaking his head.“No, you'll be fine, I reckon. Here comes your daughter now.” he says. “Although, when you come back to, everything is going to hurt quite a lot. Better brace yourself now.”Then, as he says this you see Chaya in her mostly divine form fly down, gathering her energy into her right hand and slam it into your chest. Your body convulses as she sends that shock of power through your body, and as it does you also feel the shock here too! Your eyes snap open, instantly returning to the 'real' world and gasping for air as your entire body feels like there is fire in your lungs, magma in your veins and electricity coursing throughout your body.“GAAAAAH!-Khhhh!” you scream, clenching your teeth and eyes back shut against the sudden pain. The agony is so intense you nearly
