After gaining all seven Dark Dragon Balls, thanks in no small part to Karn and his family's efforts, Mechikabura prepares for his revival: the Dark King's return is nigh! And with their powers gained in the effort to combat the God of Destruction, Lord Beerus, Karn and Meloka seek to master the strength of gods in preparation for the coming final battle between the Time Breakers and the Time Patrol. However, despite the PTO now comfortably ruling the majority of the known universe, threats still lurk there in the shadows. Beings who, for their own reasons, seek revenge against the Saiyan race. Will the Saiyans prevail? Or will their efforts all be in vain, overcome by their enemies past, present, and future?

You the players control Karn, the Berserker God with the power to fight against gods and other divine beings. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, he has now become the strongest Saiyan of his time. Wielding the Berserker Soul, a power born of rage and hatred now combined with That Which Should Not Be, Karn has gained powers suited to facing the divine, and even those who wield the powers of Order, Law, and even Time itself. But will this newfound strength be enough to overcome the threats headed your way? Only time will tell, and your choices could be the difference between victory and defeat, winning and losing, even existence and not.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After the defeats of Dumplin, Chronoa and the Time Patrol, Karn returned home with his entire family. Spending time with them, checking up on everyone after nearly all of them died only for Beerus the Destroyer to show up looking for Meloka. Only for Future Chaya to battle the God of Destruction, Ace interfering to save her from a Hakai. The two argue, Chaya shouting down her future self so she doesn't make the same mistake, before Karn loses consciousness. Only to find Dumplin's soul siphoning power from your Berserker Soul, forcing Karn to resort to unleashing the Abyssal Soul of Manus' power. Unleashing that Dark, Karn defeated the monster, only for the Berserker and Abyssal souls to fight over his body. Aku appeared in that Dark, Karn then using his Berserker Soul to devour the Soul of Manus in its entirety. And as we rejoin Karn, you suddenly find yourself awake. But it doesn't make any sense.

“The hell?” you think, wondering what happened. Under your left arm is Towa, the demon princess and mother of three of your daughters hugging onto you, while on your right is your wife Meloka. But this is your bed back home, not in Towa's realm. And the last thing you remember is defeating that Demon God with the Dark, then subduing it with your Berserker Soul.

Not particularly wanting to move, you expand your ki sense while in near-total darkness, reaching out to see what you can sense. There in the room, the three of you are surprisingly alone, none of your children sharing the bed as usual. Instead, you sense them all grouped up in several of the more unused rooms of the ship, Milha and Koruza sharing, as are Ace and Future Chaya. Broly and Koriand'r share their usual room, while Chaya's nowhere to be found. Neither are Chilli and his family, no doubt having returned to their usual places. But you do sense a few ki of your family up and about. Maza is already in the training room on the ship, up early or perhaps staying up late working. You sense also Okira surprisingly awake, from what you can guess just outside the ship, perhaps still on the loading ramp?. And Caulifla is the furthest from you all, out at the Jiralhanae city for some reason. Perhaps someone called her for her help?

But what do you do?
>Telepathically reach out to Okira, ask her if everything's okay or if she needs help
>Sneak out of bed and join Maza, you're up for some extra-early morning training
>Try and reach out to Aku, to see what happened after you blacked out yesterday
>Close your eyes and go back to sleep, relax for a while longer. You've earned this, after everything
>Get up and walk around the ship, make sure nothing's lurking about

Thinking it over, you telepathically reach out to your youngest daughter, curious what she is up to.

“Hey kiddo. Is everything okay?” you ask, thinking to her. “You're up early.”
“Dad? You're awake?” she replies instantly, relief and worry both filling the link. “Lord Beerus is here, wanting to talk.”
“To me? Or to Meloka?” you ask her, your daughter replying a few seconds later.
“They want to talk to you.” she replies, your daughter's unease spilling through the mental link as you sneak out of bed. Your wife grumbles in her sleep, rolling over, but Towa doesn't even move. You quickly dress, getting your full suit on. Then as you step to the door, realize that your Wolf Knight Sword is missing, not leaning up in the corner where you usually leave it. The weapon's sheath is still there, leaned against the former Chieftan's Gravity Hammer.

“Huh. Wonder who has it?” you mutter to yourself, making a mental note to ask your kids about it later as you open the door. It seals behind you as you leave, walking through the empty halls. Your booted steps echo down the empty hall as you approach your daughter, approaching the loading ramp to see her walking back up it towards you. Immediately you see your daughter trembling, walking over and kneeling down as she suddenly runs to you. Surprised, you catch her in a hug, wondering what in the world happened? But then a moment later the God of Destruction and his attendant walk up the ramp as well, the Destroyer looking mildly bored and his attendant as unreadable as ever.

“Lord Beerus. Whis. Good morning.” you tell them, standing back up while still holding your daughter. “What can I do for you?”
“Well, firstly, you can explain what in the hell is going on.” Beerus replies, a note of irritation in his voice. And as he speaks, you feel your daughter trembles worsen, as if shivering from the cold. You kneel back down, renewing the mental link and sending your daughter a message.
“Stay behind me, I'll keep you safe.” you think to her. “Or you can run to your mother, she's still in our room.”

“I'll stay with you.” she replies with a whisper as you set her down, your daughter immediately running behind you and holding onto your leg.
“What do you mean?” you ask him, rising back up to your full height. “What's going on where?”
“Don't play dumb, Saiyan. Everyone saw what you did yesterday.” he says, a hint of menace in his voice. Seems he's annoyed about something that happened. “What's your deal? What are you angling for?”

You aren't quite sure what he's talking about, but the fact he's angry about something. Or, maybe not angry? As you stare the shorter deity down, you can glimpse something deeper behind his gaze. You aren't sure what, but you get the feeling he's actually worried about something. But what?

And what do you say? How do you respond to this?
>Tell him everything, from your first battle with Dumplin through finishing his soul off, and conquering the Abyss from Manus' Soul using your Berserker Soul. You have a hunch it's about the Abyss, since he 'saw' it yesterday from the sound of things
>Ask Beerus what HE thinks you're doing, try and understand what's going on in his head by having him explain himself
>Tell him that you still don't know what he means, but that if he's wanting to go another round you're more than willing to throw down
>Ask Whis what Beerus is on about, if he can better explain to you what the Destroyer's wanting to know or if he's as in the dark as you are
>Tell him you've always done everything you could to protect your family, no matter the cost to yourself. Even if it meant plunging directly into the Abyss itself, which you've willingly done several times now

“I'm not sure what you're talking about. Or whatever it is that you're implying. But there's one thing that you should know.” you say, seeing the Destroyer's brow raise as you talk. “Everything that I've done, it has all been for one purpose. I have done everything within my power to protect my family, no matter the cost I have to pay. Even when that meant plunging directly into the Abyss itself, which I've done several times now, Destroyer. Not even the Dark can stop me, when it comes to keeping my family safe. ALL of my family.”

“Huuuh? I think you misunderstood me.” Beerus says, closing his eyes and lowering his head a moment with a sigh before looking back up to you. “I mean what is your goal with this? You've brought four Demon Realm inhabitants through the veil separating the mortal and demon realms, from another timeline no less into this reality. Along with three other living beings not from this timeline. You've broken quite a few rules, Saiyan.”
“And? They're my family.” you tell him defiantly. “Maza, Milha, and Koruza are my children, Towa their mother.” you tell him, the Destroyer God's expression not changing. “And now that that damned Time Kai's out of the way, they can finally live here with the rest of us. We don't have to jump through timelines to see each other any more.”

“So, that was where Meloka would disappear off to.” Whis says idly, Beerus turning back to his attendant. “While I was training her, she would occasionally vanish. Returning with the 'scent' of another timeline on her near-instantly, for lack of a better word.”
“So, you all have been leaving this reality over and over to visit your other family?” Beerus asks you, now sounding more curious. “Hrmm. And here I thought you were married?”
“I am. It's... Kind of a long story with Towa.” you say, remembering back to when you'd first learned what she'd done to you in your sleep. “But those are my children. Except for Ace, the former Time Patroller. He was a victim of Chronoa's mind control, twisted into serving her. Towa took him in after Mechikabura broke him free of that mind control, now he and my daughter are a thing. So, they're all family. And I will protect them.”

“Even if that means confronting a god directly?” he asks you, no doubt expecting your to shy away from his tone. But you're not backing down. “You would defy a deity?”
“Not only would I defy a god. If they threatened my family, I'd kill them.” you reply seriously, Beerus giving you a grin. Not a 'happy' grin, but one that makes him look almost shark-like.

“You're quite the interesting specimen, Karn. I can't tell if you're truly confident in your abilities, or simply delusional and have gotten lucky up to this point.” he replies, sounding almost jovial before his expression changes, becoming more serious once again. “However. I'm not like other deities you may have encountered. Kai, Demon Gods, none of them compare to what I can do. If your existence threatens this reality, I WILL erase you. Understood?”
“If that happens, may the best man win.” you reply, offering him your right hand before adding. “But if you come after me, you'd better come at one hundred percent. The worst mistake you can make is underestimating me. Something Chronoa found out when I almost killed her. If it wasn't for that bastard Dumplin, she'd have been dead long ago.”

“Hmph. You will find a Destroyer is not so easily felled.” he replies, turning and walking back down the ramp. “Be seeing you around, Karn. Whis, let's go.”
“Of course, my lord.” Whis replies to him, then turns to you before leaving. “Please let lady Meloka know that I'll return tomorrow evening, to take her back to resume her training.”
“I'll tell her.” you say, giving the attendant a nod. Who returns the gesture, turning and walking after Lord Beerus as the cat man exits your ship. Leaving just you and your youngest daughter, Okira standing there.

What now?
>Ask Okira if she's okay, and what she wants to do before everyone else wakes up
>Take your daughter and carry her to bed, since it's so early go back to bed yourself
>Ask Okira if she can do something for you, take her to your room and have her speak a door back to Towa's Lab into being with her Stand
>Tell Okira to run along before telepathically reach out to your son Chilli, as his world is hours ahead of your own and ask if he knows anything about what happened to you yesterday. If the Abyss started coming out of you like Beerus implied, they'd have called for his help

“You okay kiddo?” you ask while reaching down, scooping up your daughter into your arms and holding her to you. She hugs you back, trying to wrap her arms as far around you as they go, burying her face in your shoulder while nodding. “It's alright, they're gone. You did good Okira.”
“Really?” she asks, voice muffled as she speaks into your shoulder, looking up at you with her big eyes.
“Really. You did good kiddo.” you tell her, holding her with your right arm and ruffling her hair with your left. She giggles, beaming up at you with all her previous worry seemingly gone. “But what were you doing up so early?”

“Uhh, well...” she starts, looking away a bit nervously. “I wanted to go for a swim, but then the God of Destruction and his angel showed up.”
“I see. Do you still want to go swimming?” you ask, your daughter looking up at you excitedly.
“Really?” she asks, suddenly excited. “Do you mean it?”
“Of course, let's go.” you tell her, Okira bouncing up and down in your arms. You carry her down the stairs, walking outside and to the water, planting your feet before adjusting her in your grip, pulling back and down ready to throw her. “Ready?”

“Ready!” she exclaims excitedly. “One!”
“Two.” you reply, grinning.
“THREE!” you both say, you pitching her up as she jumps out of your hands, launching herself into the sky. She nearly vanishes for a moment, turning into nothing more than a speck before dropping back down a couple hundred yards out, diving into the water with surprisingly little splash. You then jump after her, diving down near where she landed and entering the water by her. You see her at the bottom of the sandy ground, near the ledge where the ground drops off, the sea becoming far deeper. She turns, seeing you and gives you a beaming smile before kicking off the bottom, blasting out of the water. As you rise up to take a breath you see her flipping through the air, splashing back down into the water again. Submerged, she swing over to you, head popping up out of the water by you.

“Did you see me?” she asks excitedly. “I went super high!”
“Haha, that you did.” you reply, again ruffling her hair as she beams at you. You much prefer this look on her face to the worried expression she had before. So, you decide to play with her in the predawn dark, your daughter giggling and laughing as you throw her up into the air to splash back down into the sea. You stay here in the water with her, playing with your daughter until the sun begins to rise over the horizon.

As dawn breaks you both head back to shore, the both of you getting out and flaring your ki, blasting the water off of yourselves. She then flies up to you, giving you a hug around the neck.

“Thank you Daddy.” she whispers in your ear as you watch the sun rise. “I had a whole lot of fun.”
“Me too, let's do this again sometime.” you reply, patting her on the back. She stays there, holding onto you for a minute or so before she starts to squirm, clearly wanting to be let go. So you release her, Okira running back off into the ship. Leaving you alone with the sunrise, watching a new day dawn on your home.

Watching the new day dawn, you decide that, at least for today, you'll be taking the day off. Instead of going about your usual daily schedule, you'll take the day to introduce your family to everyone. After all, since they're going to be staying here with you now, best to have everyone know them too. You turn from the rising sun, heading back inside your home and walking to your room. However, as you do, suddenly you smell something fantastic. Seems that Silver's making something good this morning, a smell you remember but can't quite place. Putting that aside you head to your room, where you can already sense Towa up and moving. Opening the door, you see the demon princess looking for her suit in the pile of clothes by the bed, getting a good view before she turns, looking over her shoulder.

“WH-Oh, Karn.” she says, cheeks a bit red from embarrassment. “Good morning.”
“Mornin'.” you reply, walking over as she stands up and turns, hugging you. You hold her back, Towa going in for a kiss which you accept
“Sea salt? What were you doing in the ocean?” she asks, a hint of confusion in her question as she pulls away. You explain what happened as she turns back to get dressed, your wife grumbling and rolling over towards you both, sitting up with her eyes still
“Was out playing with Okira, she was up early. Hey, mornin' hun.” you say, turning from Towa to your wife, who sits up slowly, stretching both arms overhead. Her eyes then open, seeing you standing in full armor and Towa looking for her clothes, looking back and forth confused.

“Whass goin...?” she murmurs, yawning and floating up out of bed to you, your wife wrapping her arms around your neck and kissing you sleepily. Which you return, enjoy. As you do, Towa rises, suit in hand but walks around behind you. Where you feel her hand on your left shoulder, fingertips running over where you'd felt the Dark pouring from you when you'd taken on the Soul of Manus' power.
“Good, you've healed up nicely.” Towa comments, Meloka pulling away and looking over your shoulder at her, sleepy confusion on her face. “It barely left a mark.”
“So, the Dark was pouring out of my real body too?” you ask, looking over your shoulder as well to her, seeing the demon woman nod. “No one got hit with it, did they?”

“No. Caulifla got some on her hand, but Chilli saved her from it.” Towa replies, making some sort of magical lens and looking through it at your back as you make a mental note to thank him as well. “He is very capable, him and Caulifla both. Neither hesitated to jump in to save you.”

“They're good kids.” you reply, gently setting your wife down on the ground. “But for today, I had an idea.”
“What's that?” Towa asks, magicking her suit on as Meloka pulls her gi to her, quickly getting dressed as well.
“Since you and the kids aren't from here, today we'll be taking a day off from training.” you say as Meloka pulls her pants on, your wife looking up at you curiously. “Today we'll just be meeting everyone.”

“I see.” Towa replies as your wife stands up, throwing her top on over herself, then tying her belt. Securing her top in place, reaching up and stretching to settle everything in place.
“Mhrmm. Alright, seems like a plan.” your wife says, ending her stretch and rolling her right shoulder. “Let's go get everyone up.”
“Agreed.” Towa replies, summoning her staff, the god-slaying spear Mechikabura gifted to replace the one he'd destroyed and tapping it on the ground once. “This should be... Interesting.”

You, Towa, and Meloka wake all the kids up, gathering everyone together and take them all to the mess hall, where Silver has whipped up a breakfast of champions. You do the introductions with your other kids to him, Silver greeting each in turn after the meal.

“If ye want anythin' special, let me know. Good teh have you lot along.” he says. “Been hearin' about you all for long enough, about time you finally get to stick around.”

After breakfast you sent out a mental message to your students, letting them know of the change in plans. But that you'd like to introduce them to some very important people around the usual training time. Most agree, your elite students telling you they'll make sure everyone else knows and are gathered in place when the time comes. Ending that message, you then come to another crossroads.

Who do you visit first?
>King Vegeta and Queen Cenoria, introduce them properly to the king, as well as Nappa, Emilia, and whoever else is in his fortress at the time
>Head over to Raven's, introduce them properly to her and Ubo, as well as who you sense to be a few of the Rak'kari as well
>Find Leyas and Sarada, as well as some of your other friends and teammates like Bardock and Turles
>Go to the Jiralhanae City first, where you still sense Caulifla as well. They're part of your world now too, and deserve to know

I can eat medium rare no problem, I think the sweet spot is between it to medium-well, well done is acceptable too but it should be the threshold stopping point. And Rare is just asking to get sick since it's hard to make it work in terms of the chief's cooking ability. Well done is just sinful since there are literally no juices left to keep your meat from being a dry husk. Might as well eat leather at that point.

“Let's go. I think it's time we have proper introductions with the king of the Saiyans.” you say to everyone, you noticing Maza's brow twitch noticeably at this. Immediately you think you know what he's thinking, feeling yourself smirk a bit. It should be interesting, at the very least. However, as you all make your way from the mess hall, you telepathically reach out to Raven, explaining your plan for the day and that your kids won't be there for the usual training.
“For the best, thanks for the head's up.” she replies, ending the link. Her mind felt distracted to you, no doubt discussing something rather important to your underwater allies. But you put that out of your mind, leading everyone outside and into the air, flying over the sea towards the mainland.

“Wow. I never realized how pretty your planet was.” Koruza says to you all, your youngest half-demon son's eyes wide as he looks at the waves. “Everything's so... Colorful.”
“It is, isn't it?” Okira replies to him, her Stand Imagine Dragon agreeing with her.
“It is a vibrant world full of life.” Towa remarks, you unable to see what she's thinking as she looks down at the waves. But then you all are over the land, flying towards the rapidly-approaching Saiyan city. As you all fly over, it is hard to believe that the entire area was nearly leveled more than once from otherworldly invaders.

“I love seeing that the world was rebuilt, after what happened.” Future Chaya says, her voice sounding quite... Different. Almost melancholic. “That the Saiyans rebuilt after what happened, after everything you all fought through. It makes me feel hopeful.”
“Heh, me too kiddo.” you reply, flying over the city and dropping once you approach King Vegeta's palace. You drop down outside the building, landing on the steps outside the front door. Everyone lands around behind you, the Royal Guard outside immediately perking up.
“General Karn.” one says as they both salute, the speaker glancing to your guests before speaking aloud. “Friends of yours?”

“Family, actually. We're here to speak with King Vegeta. Is he busy?”
“At this time? No, but...” he says, the other then speaking up in the silence. “He isn't taking guests yet.”
“Perfect. We'll be right in then.” you reply, the two sharing a look as if deciding whether or not to stop you. But, after a moment's consideration simply let you all pass, not wanting to deny you. You push open the doors, leading your family inside the palace.

As you all step into the throne room, you see that King Vegeta is here already, sitting upon the throne as his wife sits in a far more elaborate chair erected beside it. Clearly, once again pregnant as their son, Prince Vegeta V spars against a couple Saldamen. Five of the creatures leap at him from different sides, his father calling out to him.

“NOW!” Vegeta declares, the young child's ki rising.
“HAAAAA!!” he exclaims, firing a weaker Explosive Wave. One that doesn't so much as crack the stone floor beneath his feet, but disintegrates the weak creatures. “Phew. See? I told you I can.... Huh?”

He stops mid-sentence as the doors shut behind you, turning to see all of you enter the room. Dumbstruck, he stands there silently, inactive until his father speaks.

“Good morning, General Karn. This is a rather unexpected surprise.” he says, rising up out of his throne as you give him a salute, your fully Saiyan side of the family copying you. Maza, however, doesn't salute, instead stepping forward confidently. “Oh?”
“So, you're the one who calls himself king?” Maza asks, tone belligerent as he confidently steps past you. Immediately you realize this is going exactly how you thought it would, but clearly surprising Towa.
“Maza! What is-?” she starts, you turning to her and shaking your head. “But-!”

“Don't worry about it. This'll be good.” you tell her telepathically, watching as the king walks to the edge of the dais, Maza approaching him and stopping at the base of the stairs.
“The strong rule, and the weak obey, right?” he asks, staring your king down as Vegeta, even being atop the short stairs is barely a head taller than him. “Then I challenge you. As a half-Saiyan myself, I am as eligible as anyone to challenge your rule.”
“Hmph. Are you sure you wish to do this?” he asks, giving a look you realize is more for you than for him. “I'll give you one chance to back down. Wouldn't want to embarrass you on your first full day here.”

Well? What do you do?
>Stay silent and observe, you're sure King Vegeta's got this. Maza may be a little stronger, but you have full faith in your king
>Tell Maza to stand down, this isn't the time or place for such things. He can challenge for the right to rule once he's actually SEEN what King Vegeta rules

“You mean you don't want to be embarrassed on my first day here?” Maza replies confidently, swinging his arms down by his sides as he ascends into his Primal Demon form. Power surging, his energy actually blows Prince Vegeta V off his feet, you immediately dashing forward. You grab the kid, shielding his from the pressure as Maza ascends to his strongest form. “First I'll be king of the Saiyans, then King of the Demon Realm as well!”
“That was my SON you just blasted away so callously.” King Vegeta retorts, Maza's blazing aura dying down a bit as he glances back, seeing you shielding the boy. Who you hold onto, walking past Maza to King Vegeta and set down. The boy runs to his mother, whose Stand's body shielded herself from the pressure. “I'm going to make you pay for that.”

“Then allow me to step in, as referee and as witness.” you reply, getting between the two younger men. “I'll lay out the rules of this fight, if you both agree.”
“Of course.” King Vegeta replies, not looking away from his challenger.
“I accept.” Maza answers, smirking confidently as he sees the King's anger. “Witness me win, Father.”
“Father?” you notice Queen Cenoria mutter, looking from the half-demon to you, confusion all over her face. But before she can ask you, Towa speaks up.
“Would all of you step over here?” Towa asks, you turning to look to her. “I shall erect a barrier you both can fight to your hearts' content within. Without destroying the whole planet, much less this building.”

“Very well.” King Vegeta replies, breaking eye contact with Maza and confidently walking past him. Not sparing the powerful half-demon a second glance, showing no hint of fear. To which you see Maza grin at, recognizing the King of the Saiyans as a powerful opponent. He then turns, following the king towards his mother. You bring up the rear, the three of you standing with Towa. Who, in a sudden flash ascends into her Demon God form, ki signature vanishing as she becomes a demonic divine being.
“Now then. Everyone, remain still a moment.” she says, lifting up into the air. Using the god-slaying spear, she traces her symbol across the throne room floor. It covers most of the throne room itself, then as she finishes the emblem suddenly you're no longer able to sense anyone. Your ki sense is completely cut off from those outside, now you can only sense Maza and King Vegeta. “There. I have cut this space off, severing this space and forming its own little pocket dimension. Now the two of you can fight to your heart's content.”

“Thank you Towa.” you say, turning to Vegeta. “What form will you take, your highness?”

“HAAAAAAAAAA!!” King Vegeta roars, power blazing golden as his body disappears within it. You watch as his body seemingly grows within it, taking on his own Primal form. And, to your surprise, King Vegeta is actually weaker than Maza. Not incredibly so, not so badly outclassed that the gap is insurmountable. But the gap is there. “If you want to fight as a Primal, then I'll meet your challenge. Give us the start, General Karn.”

“Heh. HRRAAAA!” you roar, ascending yourself into your Berserker God form. So you can better observe the fight. “Maza, are you ready?”
“Ready.” he replies, not bothering to take a fighting stance.
“Ready?” you ask King Vegeta.
“Ready.” your king replies as you raise your right hand, taking his own fighting stance.

“BEGIN!” you declare, dropping your hand. Immediately both warriors dash forward, right fists smashing together. The powerful shock waves slam into you, but with your even more powerful form easily withstand it. The two then launch into a ferocious flurry of strikes, King Vegeta and Maza's fists and arms blurring. But as they fight, both men standing their ground and not giving an inch, you begin to see the difference between the two men. Maza's attacks are ferocious; heavy, powerful blows raining down on his smaller foe. But King Vegeta V is clearly the more skilled of the fighters, blocking more of his stronger opponent's attacks. Maza doesn't evade or block nearly as well as the King, taking far more hits in the exchange. Which clearly frustrates Maza, who disengages first with a roar.

“HRRAAAAA!” he bellows, firing off an Explosive Wave of his own to knock Vegeta back. But the King, however, has a different plan, activating his own Energy Body with a cocky smirk as he plants his feet. The wave of energy washes over your king, who deactivates the armor the instant it passes and kicks off the floor, driving his right fist into Maza's jaw. Stunning your son and knocking him back, crashing into the wall of Towa's barrier with a dull, resounding thud.
“Not bad. You've certainly got the power.” King Vegeta replies, retaking his stance as Maza drops off the wall, landing on all fours. Maza pushes himself upright, snarling in anger as he sees the King hasn't moved to capitalize on his moment of weakness. “But you clearly lack experience in real combat.”
“Bastard!” Maza snarls, rising with a vengeance as he draws both arms back, almost instantly creating a Final Flash and firing it at the king. Who again smirks, crossing his arms defensively then leaving an afterimage behind as he leaps into the air at full speed. Maza, not sensing him unleashes his power, watching as the afterimage is erased with shock. “Wh-Wha-?!”

“Too slow.” King Vegeta says, having dashed behind Maza. And before he can end his attack, Vegeta slips an arm under his neck, drawing a Ki Blade and pressing it to his neck. You see a few drops of blood start to spill onto his blade, King Vegeta remaining still as Maza's attack ends. “It's over.”
“You talk too much.” Maza replies, activating his own Energy Body then driving his right elbow back into King Vegeta's chest. Catching the king off guard, driving him back this time into the barrier wall. Vegeta clearly feels his blade cut, looking closely at Maza's neck but seeing that his armor protected him, deactivates his own weapon.

“I tried to give you an easy out. But, if you insist on losing more completely, then come on. I will show you the difference between training and battle.”
“Are you not going to call it?” Towa asks you telepathically. “He had Maza dead to rights, you could call it now.”

“Hold on you two!” you call out, both King Vegeta and Maza both looking over to you curiously. “Maza, you already lost. Were this a real fight, you would already be dead.”
“But-!” he tries to retort, you blazing your aura up as you step towards him.
“Maza!” you say, this time more forcefully. His eyes widen at this, taking an uncertain step back at the volume of your voice. “Stand down. You lost.”

“Lost? Like hell!” he replies angrily, aura blazing to match his rising rage. “What the fuck do you mean, it's over? I'm still standing!”
“He showed you mercy.” you reply, cold fury rising as you storm over towards him. Your own wrath dwarfs his own, Maza immediately powering down unconsciously as you get in his face. “You were careless, underestimated your opponent, who is one of MY students, and failed. If he wanted your life, you'd be DEAD!”

As you shout that final word he takes an unconscious step back, hanging his head ashamedly. A moment later he powers back down to his base form, mumbling something you can barely hear.

“What was that?” you ask him, your son looking up to you uncertainly. With a small hint of defiance in his eye, one that hasn't gone away despite submitting to. “Speak up.”
“I said I'm sorry.” he replies, this time not looking away from you. “I lost, fine. I give up.”
“Maybe next time you'll be more ready.” King Vegeta replies, powering down as well. Seeing that they've both dropped to their base forms you do the same, sighing out as you return to your normal size. “Whenever you're truly ready to challenge me, I'll accept your challenge Maza.”

King Vegeta then turns, walking away from you both as Towa deactivates the dimensional barrier. His son runs over to him, King Vegeta scooping up his son as Towa descends, landing beside you and Maza. Your half-demon son is still clearly fuming over losing so easily to someone weaker than him, but he keeps his emotions under control. At least, for now. You know the battle between him and King Vegeta isn't over, but today's not the day for that. They'll have to settle this score another time.

I wasn't expecting Maza to get smoked so easily, but I guess that goes to show how much a good teacher can do for a talented warrior like Vegeta. This rivalry will be good for the both of them. And maybe after this and Broly, he'll stop thinking he's hot shit just because he's our flesh and blood.
>>
>>5914806
We might be able to head it off by having some one on one time with him later. Share some stories of all the fights we've been in, ones where we've had it hard and ones where we've dominated our enemies. Really show him that a wound like that - being stabbed in the throat - truly can take you out of a fight in an instant. Real fights aren't prolonged brawls all the time, sometimes...you just die, before you even know what happened. And that he needs to understand that, if he's going to be a king one day. He has to understand that he needs to be good enough that something like that can never happen to him.
Maybe we can set him on the path of perma energy body like us.

After the short but eventful duel between Maza and King Vegeta IV, your friend defending his throne from your half-demon son, there was still clear tension in the room from your son. Maza was clearly angry and frustrated at the outcome, seemingly more annoyed at you for stopping it than Vegeta himself. But before you can address that, someone else joins you all in the throne room.

“Well, I thought I sensed something going down.” one of your longest friends Nappa says, entering through one of the doors behind the thrones. “Looks like you brought everyone along. Coming to make your other kids full members of our people?”
“Wait, what?” you ask him, looking from Nappa to King Vegeta, who only laughs in response. “What do you mean?”
“You're not the only one to have half-Saiyan offspring, Karn.” Vegeta explains, gesturing towards Nappa. “And while there is a bit of paperwork, I'm assuming it will be easy enough to have someone handle it.”

“If it's just a matter of documentation, I'll save you the trouble.” Towa replies to him, waving the god-slaying spear. And from the air conjures five sheets seemingly out of thin air, catching them in her free hand and walking over to him. “I take it this should suffice.”
“How did you...?” Nappa mutters as Vegeta laughs again, taking them.
“I assume you've already seen the paperwork, copying it over?” he asks her while signaling for one of his Guard to step forward, taking the pages and hurrying out through the door Nappa entered through. “Good, that saves us all some time. And, speaking of time, I was wondering about the state of your lab. Now that the war with the Time Patrol is over, presumably, would use of your training facilities be something you'd consider sharing? Not only having the far stronger technology, but access to time dilation to expedite training results here in this world would be a great boon to our forces.”

“I don't see why not, although the time dilation is more an effort on my end. Transportation to is simple, but it's the return trip that is difficult.” she replies, starting to explain to him how she'd handled transporting your family to and from her place without a second passing here. Getting technical, and with Vegeta questioning her for more information, you turn your gaze to the rest of the room, seeing how everyone else is getting on. Koruza, Okira, and Caulifla are all with the queen, the four of them all having their Stands out and talking no doubt about them. Maza is still fuming, Broly standing by him with a hand on his shoulder, saying something as Ace and Future Chaya are standing a bit off from everyone else, back-to-back as if they sense something wrong. And, judging by their expressions, this isn't for fun or a game.

The kid's laughter draws you to them, you walking over to your younger children all crowded around the young prince. And as you approach, suddenly you sense his power spiking. Then, as you get closer you see a golden aura start blazing up. And to your surprise Prince Vegeta suddenly transforms.

“HAAAAA!” he shouts, hair shifting from black to gold as he ascends. Surprising you, as last you remembered he wasn't anywhere close to this level.
“WOOOAAAAAAH!!” Maz exclaims happily.
“You did it!” Kayle calls, the younger twins looking to him. “You finally did it!”
“Now we match!” Karn Jr calls, waving his tail at the young prince.

“Well now, look at you.” you say, the kids all turning towards you. “Quite impressive, Prince Vegeta. You've been working hard, I see.”
“Yes sir. I have been training every day.” he replies politely. Despite being a near-identical copy of his father, you remembering when he was younger, their personalities are completely different. You remember young King, then Prince Vegeta was quite arrogant and boastful, much like your half-demon son Maza. But when you'd humbled him enough, he'd lost the attitude and become more like the prince you see before you now. Which makes you wonder what this young royal will become when he gets older? “It was harder than I thought it would be, but I finally did it.”

“Well done. Keep up the good work.” you tell him, to which you can tell he has a question from the way he's looking up at you. “What is it?”
“It's just.... How do I transform like you?” he asks, catching you by surprise. “Your power, the green Super Saiyan. The strength to fight even Lord Beerus, how do I get to that level? I want to grow up to be strong, strong enough to protect everyone.”
“This power isn't something you can just work hard and obtain. It has to choose you.”
“Choose?” he asks you, confused. “What do you mean by choose?”
“This power. It isn't just something anyone can wield.” you say, flashing up into your base Berserker form and kneeling down. “The power itself chose me, as it chose Broly years ago.”

“But you made Okira glow all green too!” Maz interjects, Prince Vegeta's eyes going wide and turning to your son. “Broly an' Kori told me!”
“Yes. I can transform someone into that state, now that I've mastered the Berserker Soul.” you reply. “But that doesn't mean they can unlock it on their own.”
“So, you can choose who wields that power... Then why doesn't everyone have it?” he asks you, brows furrowed as he tries to think through it. “Why didn't you give Father and Mother, Nappa, and everyone else this power too?”

“The answer is simple: they never asked.” you tell him. “Out of everyone I know, we all want to get stronger ourselves. Not to have someone else just hand us unearned power. We all want to grow our own strengths, to get as strong as we can. If the worst should ever happen, a new, terrible enemy arise trying to destroy us I'll share my power as wide as I can. As our people's survival comes first.”
“And sharing power's really, really tiring.” Karn Jr speaks up, everyone looking to him. “When I helped Daddy share his power, by sharing mine with him, I was exhausted. Fell asleep and didn't even get to see him lead all those Berserkers into the Time Nest. But big sis Chaya said I did great!”

“Haha, yes you did. It was thanks to you that we were able to beat the Time Patrol.” you tell him, powering back down and ruffling his hair before turning your focus back to the young prince. “One day, when you're old enough to stand on your own, to challenge your father for the title of King of the Saiyans, then I might share this power with you. But, if you've worked hard and gotten to your father's level, I have a feeling you won't want my power.”
“I see. Thank you, General Karn.” he replies, the tiny prince giving you a proper Saiyan salute. Which you return, pushing yourself up to your feet. Looking around, you now see Ace and Future Chaya with Maza, your half-demon son down on a knee while Emilia of all people is standing behind him, a foot on his back. And blood running over his hands, pressed tight to his neck as she offers him one of the healing capsules Daiko's predecessor had originally developed. You can guess what happened there, and why the two warriors were so on-edge before.

But, turning from them you see Caulifla casting one of her miracles on the pregnant queen, no doubt to help her along in her pregnancy in some capacity. King Vegeta has risen from his throne, walking purposefully towards the downed Maza, Towa in hot pursuit while Milha, no longer reading is talking with the older twins, Tatsu and Tomi sitting across from each other. An odd sight, as you're used to them always being within an arm's length if not constantly touching.

But what do you do now?

Knowing that Maza will be fine, that Emilia had snuck him solely to make a point, you turn your focus back to the Saiyan Queen Cenoria and your children with her, walking over towards the thrones. Curiously, as your daughter finishes her cast, you see that golden light not infuse everyone, but instead, to your surprise, only fills Queen Cenoria. The light envelops her, leaving glowing lights in both her chest and belly. No doubt to protect her and her child, Queen Cenoria nodding appreciatively to her.

“-nk you, Caulifla. I, no. WE appreciate it.” you hear her say. “Your help is always appreciated.”
“You're welcome, anytime.” your daughter replies with a smile, Triumph Requiem standing behind her. Velvet Green stands behind the queen, her Stand turning and watching you approach.
“General Karn, good morning.” the queen says, your children turning as you approach. “It's been too long.”
“That it has. How has everything been?” you ask her, stopping and giving her a salute.

“Oh, come on. There's no need to salute me, teacher.” she replies with a chuckle. “So, you finally did it, huh? You finally conquered the Time Patrol.”
“Yes. The war is finally over.” you tell her happily. “We did it.”
“I'm so glad to hear this. All your years of hard work paid off.” she says with a genuine smile. As a former student of yours, she knows how long and hard you've worked towards this goal. And for it to finally be over is still almost incomprehensible. “But what do you do plan on doing moving forward?”
“Same thing I've always been doing. I'll keep getting stronger to protect out people.” you reply. “And speaking of getting stronger, have you discovered any new secrets to Velvet Green's power?”

“Who knows? Perhaps you'll just have to wait and see.” she replies, a mischievous gleam in her eye telling you that she's in fact found something. A new level to her Stand's ability.”
“I'm curious what it could be. With such a straightforward-seeming ability, I bet it has something complex and unorthodox now as well.” Koruza replies. “Your opponent thinks that they've figured out how you fight, then bam! Hit them with something completely different.”
“How did you-?” Cenoria starts, your youngest half-demon son giving her a cheeky grin. “Oh, so you've discovered something similar? You told me how your Stand works, but now I know you've got another surprise in store for me. I'm rather looking forward to it.”

“Hold on, are you-?” you start, the queen interrupting immediately.
“Not until my daughter is born, no. But once I've recovered, I would be very interested in seeing if I've got what it takes to face down your son here's Stand.”
“It's not easy, but it is beatable.” you reply, remembering back when he'd first gotten you with his Stand. But before you can say anything more you feel Maza's ki spike, your head whipping around to see your firstborn half-demon son glaring at King Vegeta's shadow, Emilia Zoldyck in her suppressed form. However, instead of doing anything foolish you see him take a deep breath, then turn and storm out of the room. No doubt to go clear his head, to get his emotions under control. Everyone's silent a moment before you turn back to your daughter Caulifla, curious what she'd done. “So, what magic did you cast on our queen?”

“That? Oh, it was a simple protection. One meant to stave off death.” she replies, gesturing to her. Where, as Caulifla touches her hand you see those dual flames light up once again, one in Queen Cenoria's chest and the other, much smaller flame in her belly. “Tears of Denial. The way it works is, should you take damage that would kill you, instead that flame is extinguished. It won't protect you from serious threats, but should certainly help keep the growing princess alive and safe until she's born.”
“You had magic like that?” you ask, genuinely surprised. A spell like that could have certainly protected her and her siblings when that bastard Dumplin attacked. “Does it have limits?”

“Oh yeah, I'm basically out of magic for the next couple hours.” Caulifla replies casually, as if talking about the weather. “But that will last for a lot longer. As long as you stay on the planet, it should still stay up.”
“Thank you, Caulifla. This means more to me than you know.” Queen Cenoria replies.

As your former student and daughters, along with your youngest half-demon son all continue talking about their Stands, you try and summon forth your Divine Dragon Force. However, nothing happens, perhaps your Stand used too much power back yesterday to take down Dumplin? Either way you quietly leave them to it, turning and heading after Towa and King Vegeta. Towa immediately goes over to Ace and Future Chaya, King Vegeta approaching Emilia and the two begin whispering. Curious, you walk over, only catching some of the last sentence Vegeta whispers.

“-blems if he'd noticed you? He could have killed you!” he whispers through clenched teeth, clearly angry about her stepping in.
“I am curious as well. Why were you thinking, attacking my son unprovoked like that?” you say, both King Vegeta and Emilia turning towards you slowly. King Vegeta looks taken aback, almost worried, while Emilia. Well, she remains unphased, blank smile on her face.
“I could sense his lethal intent. He planned to attack my king the moment his guard was down.” she replies easily. “He hadn't gotten the lesson that the fight was over, so-”
“So, you decided that you would attack him first, is that it?” you ask her, tone accusatory. But she doesn't shy away from the accusation.

“I protected my king from a violent attacker, one who meant him harm.” the woman replies simply. “I have only executed my duty as was assigned to me, nothing more.”
“Emilia! That's not what I-!” King Vegeta starts, you holding out a hand. To which he actually stops, turning to you curiously.
“So, instead of letting me handle my son, you thought it prudent to attack him instead?” you ask her. “Instead of bringing this to the attention of me or his mother, who has more than enough strength to restrain him, you went straight to lethal force?”
“I... Well...” she replies, no longer seeming as certain as she was moments ago.

“Next time, if there is a next time, perhaps consider other options.” you tell her with a sigh. “I don't think he'll try anything again, but if he does, let me know and I'll handle him. He's my son, and my responsibility.”
“I understand.” she replies, bowing slightly to you. You nod back, then casually pat both of them on the shoulders. However, you suddenly sense an incredible powerlevel rapidly approaching. It suddenly appeared at the edge of your ki sense, somewhere near the end of the star system. But the gigantic power, dozens of times stronger than your base form is hurrying through space directly towards you all. It is headed here, to your home.
“Karn, do you feel that?” Meloka asks, your wife turning to you with a worried look.
“Yeah.” you reply, feeling a small smile come to your face. “He's coming.”

“Wait,he? Who is coming?” King Vegeta asks, alarmed. “What is it?”
“It's Lord Freeza.” you say as the massive power draw closer. And as he approaches you all make your way outside, Maza looking to you all curiously. But then he suddenly senses that power as well, springing up to his feet.
“What the hell is that?” he exclaims, looking up into the air as your friend draw near.
“He's here.” you reply, a moment later you seeing a golden streak blaze through the air, landing in the courtyard outside the palace. He somehow lands without cracking a single tile beneath him, showing his levels of control over his power. But the force of his stop kicks up a wall of dust, momentarily obscuring his form.

“Sorry for stopping by on such short notice. But I believe that this news is too important to share by any method other than face-to-face.” Freeza says as the dust cloud blows away, revealing the former emperor and your friend, Lord Freeza. “You're not going to believe what Arctus has dug up.”

Trying to decide which intermission I want to do this week. There’s Trunks’ return to Conton City and the Time patrol’s surrender to Mechikabura, Caulifla’s recent promotion she obtained due to het hard work as a Darkmoon Knightess. Or we have Chilli’s emergency he had to handle the moment he returned home, as there’s always SOMETHING going on on that planet. Or perhaps a curve ball, someone completely unexpected who might become relevant very quickly.

I think I am going to go with the Trunks intermission for this one. Seeing his reaction to the aftermath, as well as Mechikabura revealing a secret even Trunks didn’t know will be… Interesting. Since there's no session this weekend, it is now time for me to batter you with questions.
Has Burter caught wind of Wally West claiming to be the fasting thing alive yet?
How goes Ubo's restoration of Krypton?
If we have Street Fighter in this universe, does that mean Universe 6 has Tekken?
How often does anybody visit Namek these days?
Is that spare lightsaber Chaya lent to us still up for grabs?
What are Towa's thoughts on the Daiko's research?
How much of New Salda's food is grown on-planet vs imported from other PTO planets?
Is Frieza still a confirmed bachelor?
Is Darkseid regretting his decision to threaten us?
Would Mechikabura be willing to spar with us sometime?
Is his might comparable to the Angels?
Has Ginyu realized he can just absorb weaker creatures to gain their knowledge and abilities while retaining his personality?
Is Cell thinking about staying with us or is he going out to explore the universe?
Has Beerus realized that we may well actually kill him if he keeps threatening our family?
Is Future Chaya gonna be a regular training partner with Karn and Frieza while she stays here?
Is Future Chaya also technically the Dreadzone Champion?
Is Chilli considering growing out his beard?
Have the Jiralhanae discovered any racial transformations after living in proximity to the Saiyans for decades?
Is Tomitsu dead or simply unable to manifest after being stretched across the planes?
How many people in this timeline actually know that Karn can impart his Berserker power onto other Saiyans?
Is there anything we can do to prevent somebody else from tampering with our soul like Dumplin did?
How many Time Patrollers want to duke it out with Karn specifically?
How many of them want to take his head?
Is B7 still cursed to live as the only one of his kind?
Has anybody realized the Saiyans could potentially wipe out the Galaxy if they were subverted somehow?
What's Waller's take on Karn?
Is Dabura aware of our Towa being present in this timeline?

As long as it isn’t session time, its ALWAYS question time.
No
Abandoned, for the time being. He’s basically dual residence on New Salda and Earth.
Potentially. Although in this timeline, the ‘street fighter’ business was all on Planet Krypton long ago.
Not many, Freeza’d basically made it a no-go planet for 99.9% of the universe, and Cooler hasn’t rescinded that. Widespread knowledge of Namek and the myths being true would cause trouble.
Potentially. Although Bane’s been teaching her how to craft her own, she really prefers the one taken from that robot. A weapon purpose-built for the Djem Do style.
His private research, the lab’s bio research, the mechanical/weapons, or other projects?
Mostly imported, as Saiyans consume more meat than reasonably could be raised. Although the PTO has been experimenting with foods that can thrive under the pressure in their farms outside the city.
Yes
Regret implies that he sees you as more than a mildly interesting oddity, like the Kryptonian.
No. He can’t hold back his current power that much yet.
Who knows?
Yes, but he hasn’t done so. Considering it a fate worse than death for an intelligent being.
Unsure.
If he thought you a serious threat, he’d have already Hakai’d you.
We’ll see. Depends on how her and Ace work things out.
No. But Chaya does want to get her on camera, at least for one stream with her. Not to mention Vox…
He had.
No, as of yet no such power’s emerged. But speaking of the Jiralhanae, well… Soon.
>Tomitsu
That’s a complicated one, I’ll explain that tonight after work.
Not many.
No. He slipped into your body while you battled his true form, something he could ONLY pull off there. It’s not going to be a common occurrence.
Not many
More than above. Most lack the power to do anything and the means to ever see your timeline. Remember, Mechikabura has your Time Scroll on him now to prevent their interference.
Yes.
At least two different beings who seek the destruction/subjugation of the Saiyans have.
>Waller
Hooo boy, that’s a whole can of worms there. I’m sure you can guess, given Karn IS what she fears the JL COULD become.
No, she’s still in the mortal realm. However, should the Sons of Trigon open another portal, he’d quite possibly sense her. But a better question is THIS timeline’s Towa’s reaction.
>>
>>5919213
>His private research, the lab’s bio research, the mechanical/weapons, or other projects?
The biological research projects specifically. I figure that's her wheelhouse after all.
>No. He can’t hold back his current power that much yet.
>yet
So...you're telling me there's a chance?
>More than above. Most lack the power to do anything and the means to ever see your timeline. Remember, Mechikabura has your Time Scroll on him now to prevent their interference.
Interesting idea, we might arrange duels through Mechikabura just to settle things with the vengeful faction within the Time Patrol.
That or Mechikabura could just do the most immediately rational thing and kill off all the dissenters Karn makes obsolete anyways.
>>
>>5919237
Considering their tech is hundreds of years behind her own, is relatively impressed. Like finding monkeys with typewriters(pun intended) only to see some are halfway through writing their own version of the Odyssey.
You’re closer to Beerus’ level than Beerus is to Mechikabura’s. And Beerus has never taken you seriously.
Well, the Future Chaya/Ace events will have to play out before we go too far. But first, Mechikabura’s got a surprise reveal in the intermission.
>>
>>5919313
Has Mechikabura considered creating a lesser incarnation of himself and stationing it on New Salda to keep an eye on us?
It seems like a pretty good way to stay updated on what happens in whatever timeline they exist in rather than waiting on the Time Scroll to exhibit changes.
>>
>>5919340
Actually now that I say this, it's just a more honest (but no less evil and manipulative) version of what Chronoa did with Hyoka.
Therefore I imagine Mechikabura is going to do exactly that.
>>
>>5919213
> I’m sure you can guess, given Karn IS what she fears the JL COULD become.
Competent Gym rats? Waller literally has nothing to fear from someone like Karn short of trying to kill him or his family, but this IS Waller so she will not resist the impulse until someone shows her Dreadzone replays. OH OH OH, how long will it take for someone there to realize Karn is just a redneck war vet that runs a gym/Martial Arts Studio as his buisness? Is it Flash? Or did Bruce figure that out?
>But a better question is THIS timeline’s Towa’s reaction.
>Towa bragging to Towa about the god slaying hunk of loving man meat she snagged, then telling her how to be Beta enough to get her own
>And the tongue tricks to get Meloka to wait to cut her head off long enough to be a very well tended to Mistress
>>
>>5919340
He’s considered it. But ultimately rejected the idea. Deciding that the less contact he has with your time the better. After all, everything’s gone great for him so far with his current approach, why risk fucking it up? He knows you wield a power from his reality that even you are unaware of. A power lost to this existence, replaced by another. This coming intermission will reveal a bit more of what Chronoa was up to with these universal resets. A mechanic those of you who were around the net 2015/16 will be familiar with, at least in passing. And why that last Karn was different.
>>5919399
I still haven’t revealed what she was yet. Won’t this intermission, but maybe with the part 2. Part 1’s more focused on the bigger picture, and with a reveal I don’t think anyone’s really ready for.
>>5919616
Otherworldly alien warriors with no care for the humans of Earth is exactly what she and the US govt fear.
>Karn is just a redneck war vet that runs a gym/Martial Arts Studio as his buisness?
Except instead of “outdated” earthly martial arts he’s raising up even more warriors capable of conquering their world. ONE was at least as strong as Superman with no magic rock achilles heel, but an army? The Earth wouldn’t stand a chance.
Bruce understands Karn the most, how he thinks and reasons. Thanks to his hijacked Dreadzone footage.
This timeline’s Towa would look down on your Towa, claiming she “threw away” her ambitions for a domestic life of mediocrity. But she’ll create a warrior to surpass the Saiyans, to “prove” herself right.
>>
>>5919637
>"Prove" herself right
Why does it having a working dick you neet? I'm you, I know your not getting any. And my "perfect" warrior was better than yours to boot. Why do you think I prefer to be a mom? Our babies are the strongest, smartest, cutest and most perfect children around. Touch grass and save us both the embarrassment.
>>
You all aren’t ready for what’s about to happen. But, the better question becomes: why does Mechikabura tell TRUNKS of all people what he has discovered?

>>5919696
I don’t think you understand women very well anon.
>inb4 no u
I mean, fair reaction. But I can understand just about any woman, as long as she’s not sexually attracted to me.
>>
>>5919948
Trunks technically inherited the mantle of Supreme Kai of Time once Chronoa fled, didn't he?
>>
>>5919956
I mean trunks was technically the apprentice time Kai so yeah the position is his if she is gone. It's literally the same reason shin became the Supreme Kai after the Majin buu fiasco.
>>
>>5919956
Yes, but no. He WOULD have, except how Mechikabura managed to conquer Chronoa.
>>5920016
True. But you'll see here shortly.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 212 Intermission-

AGE ???, TOWA'S LAB

“Thank you, Karn. For everything.” you say, giving the Saiyan Karn a nod. Then, turning from your longtime foe without a second glance you follow the Demon King Mechikabura through his portal, stepping out of your foe's domain. Straight into a scene out of a nightmare. “Oh my god.”

You can barely recognize Conton City, it looking more like the Earth of your timeline. The open courtyard with several capsule shops set up for the Time Patrollers is nothing more than a field of craters, and the shelter for the time machines of Parallel Quests has been blown to smithereens. As you look around, you see several Time Patrollers still fighting, like the short, redheaded Tuffle battling a Super Saiyan 4 Meloka with energy claws around her hands while a SS4 Goku fights a Broly of the same level. Your gaze turns to the city, or rather what's left of it. Almost every building has been razed, except for the high school building, where Beerus the Destroyer still stands atop it. Hundreds of bodies, those of more Broly as well as many civilians are scattered throughout the ruins, but your gaze is focused on Beerus. You've never seen the Destroyer look so exhausted, even at the Zeno Expo where he'd fought the other Gods of Destruction to exhaustion he was still in better shape than he appears now.

“It's time.” Mechikabura says, then suddenly amplifies his voice to incredible levels with a shout. “THAT IS ENOUGH!!
“Woah!” you exclaim as suddenly a shield of demonic energy seemingly appears around the invaders, each orb suddenly rising into the air. Much against the warriors' disdain, many immediately trying to break free of their new prisons. Then, with a snap of his fingers, portals begin appearing above each of them, pulling the warriors into another time and place. And once the last of these portals close, a deathly silence falls over your home.
“There. Now, I believe that your surrender is in order.” Mechikabura says, turning to you with a grin. However, you both turn as Beerus flies over, putting his hands behind his back in an attempt to look regal and less exhausted than he clearly is. “Oh?”

“So. You're the one behind this attack?” Beerus asks, Mechikabura grinning at the accusation. “Clever plan, imbuing those warriors with the power of the Godeaters. But it wasn't enough, I'm still standing. And now that you've shown yourself, you're through.”

Saying this, the Destroyer raises his right hand palm-towards the Demon God, eyes hard.

“Hakai.”

“Oh no, no no. I wasn't here for you.” Mechikabura replies as Beerus' Energy of Destruction engulfs the demon. But it seemingly has no effect, you seeing the God of Destruction's eyes widen in surprise. “Forgive me, you seem to have gotten the wrong idea. None of this battle was about you, Destroyer of Universe 7. I hadn't meant to get you involved. Please, allow me to give you a gift. To compensate you for your trouble.”

Then, with a wave of his hand Mechikabura seemingly dispels the Hakai. And as he reaches into his robes with his right hand you see Beerus' shock, a hint of worry in his eyes. With his strongest attack not even phasing the Demon God, he's clearly terrified, yet trying to put on a brave face. Which shatters as Mechikabura withdraws a golden bottle, jaw dropping in shock. You feel your own drop as well, feeling powerful divine energy radiating from it.

“Hold on. How did you....?” he says, too shocked to move as Mechikabura takes his and places the golden bottle brimming with divinity in it. Only then does Beerus snap out of his shock, gaze raising up to meet Mechikabura's. “Where in the world did you get this!?”
“From Chronoa's private collection. Turns out the Time Kai, well. FORMER Time Kai anyways, had quite the collection of valuables stored away in the Time Nest.” Mechikabura replies casually, watching as the Destroyer carefully opens the bottle with a claw tip. “Seems she was behind several different important items disappearing from history. But her time is over.”
“I doubt you could have truly bested her. With the powers of Time, there's no...Way...” Beerus says, voice trailing off as Mechikabura pulls something else from inside his robes. And comparing the bottle of divine magic to this, that bottle was like a lighter. And whatever he's drawing forth is like holding a star. “Impossible.”

“What is that?” you exclaim as he opens his hand, a bonfire unlike anything you've ever seen before blazing to life. It looks as if he's holding a raging flame, one whose divine power dwarfs Lord Beerus' own! Just what in the world and all of time is going on here?!
“The Soul of Time. You really did it. Well, I must say I'm impressed.” Beerus says after a moment staring at the soul. “To think that, even with all her power, the power of Time itself, there was someone greater still.”
“It wasn't difficult. After all, while this power may have been hers, doesn't it feel... Off to you?” Mechikabura asks him. And, suddenly, you realize where he's going with this. Your eyes widen even further in horror as, looking to the burning fire, suddenly understanding what he means. As it isn't ONE flame. But many.
>>

Gazing upon the blaze in Mechikabura's hand, you realize that the flame you'd thought was one is far, far greater. With your ki sense you can feel dozens, no, HUNDREDS of different yet very similar divine powers all pressed in together, their powers combined to create this spectacular inferno the Demon God now holds.

“Hold on. Didn't you just say those are souls?” you ask, confused. To which Mechikabura turns to you, raising his other hand out towards you. And, suddenly, you feel that divine power Chronoa had imbued you with all those years ago blazing up, only to suddenly be ripped out of your chest! You see the flame, a tiny thing, barely more an a spark compared to what he holds. But it is undeniably a piece of that same power. “What?!”
“All power comes from the soul. Even that of the Gods. Especially that of the gods. It is how power is transferred from one deity to their successor.” Beerus states, observing the speck of power Mechikabura ripped from you before turning back to face the Demon God. “But you haven't taken this power. What, did it deny you?”
“Even if it had, I now possess the strength to... Subdue it, should I want.” Mechikabura says, then shakes his head before waving at you. Sending that flame back into your chest. “No, I do not wish to sit in judgment of time. However, this soul has proven two very important things.”

“What things?” you ask, wondering what the Demon God is talking about. “That I'm actually her Apprentice?”
“Ha! You were little more than a pawn in that creature's schemes.” Mechikabura replies, not even looking to you as he raises his right hand towards Beerus. Who immediately looks on guard, only for a mass of his divine power to start emerging from your chest, as had your flame. Although, Beerus' flame is something else entirely. It isn't colored like any fire you've seen, it blazing the same color as his Hakai. “No, it proved two very important truths about this world.”
“Wha-How are you doing that?!” Beerus exclaims, now sounding worried as you sense more and more people gathering, no doubt having sensed Mechikabura's immense divine power. Or for those who can't sensed your return at least.

“Even with all this power, the Destroyer soul is still singular. Which means she has reset existence far more times than I had ever imagined, much less anticipated to accumulate this much power.” Mechikabura continues, waving again and sending Beerus' Destroyer power back into him. Which he accepts, looking now horrified at Mechikabura. Knowing he's outclassed so badly must be as horrifying for him as it was for you, perhaps even more so. “Destroying all of reality over and over and recreating it, accumulating this much power. Which leaves the only question as 'for what purpose?' I suppose I may never know the whole truth.”

>>5920210
“Hold on. You mean...?” you start, unable to finish the question. You knew she reset reality once, but hundreds of times? How many innocent beings did she erase? Over and over again, exterminating everyone just like that? For what?
“You said there were two truths. What is the second?” Beerus asks, Whis flying up and stopping by Beerus. From his expression you see he's ready for a fight, but when he sees you all talking slows down, stopping short of starting a fight. But, judging from his expression, the angel is one wrong word away from attacking the Demon God. Which does leave you wondering, which of them would win in a fight?
“Right, right. The second is one which has far greater implications.” Mechikabura continues, turning and looking at you this time. “As you're aware, I'm from the previous reality. The one she eradicated under the pretext of stopping me. But, in that reality, these 'souls' of power weren't a concept. There was no 'Lord of Sunlight', no 'Abyss', and no 'First Flame'. Those concepts weren't created until this iteration of reality.”

“What?” Whis asks, shocked. “That's not possible.”
“I saw my reality die, angel. Not just a universe, or a timeline. She destroyed EVERYTHING.” Mechikabura says, sighing out. And for the first time, he really sounds old. You realizing that he's older than you can possibly comprehend, yet compared to Chronoa he'd seem little more than an infant. Which makes you wonder how she lost to him when she had that much experience behind her. “As the battle over the right to rule time waged, she used her own Hakai on the prime Time Scroll. Erasing everything that ever was. It was only through my Determination that I was able to survive, storing my soul within the Dark Dragon Balls.”
“Hold on. That word. You said determination as if it weren't a concept, but something more.” Beerus interjects. To which Mechikabura nods. “Would you elaborate on this?”

“Of course. You all should know the truth of things, to better advise the interim Time God here.” Mechikabura continues, giving you a dismissive wave. Which is when it hits you, YOU'RE truly in charge of Conton City. And it's people. Or, at least whoever's left. “In that reality, my native reality, the greatest driving force was, ironically enough, called Determination. Which is why beings like myself and Karn are so difficult to defeat. With our Determination as powerful as it was, our souls persisted even after our bodies were destroyed. Even through the complete destruction of reality itself.”
“Determination...” you mutter, thinking the word fits Karn to the letter. “Hold on. You said Karn's soul survived, but why doesn't he...?”

“For another time. For now, all you need to know is that his soul doesn't operate on only the same values as everyone from this reality. But, before we continue, there is something important to discuss now that everyone left has gathered.” Mechikabura says, cutting you off. And raising his voice, allowing it to echo so all the gathered survivors of the battle can hear. “It is time for your surrender.”
“Surrender? We're still standing!” the tiny redheaded Tuffle woman shouts, you looking down to see Maple's disheveled and cut up, but still clearly okay. Not looking too worse for wear. “Why should we surrender to you?”
“I can always bring them back. All of them, not just the ones who hadn't been put down.” Mechikabura replies, turning to her and addressing her directly. “But, with the Time Kai defeated and fled, and the Time Nest sealed off from you, the Time Patrol is over. You have been bested. Or, if you would rather...”

Putting away the Time Kai's merged soul, Mechikabura then mutters for you, Whis and Beerus to get back, you flying over to the angel as the other deities back up. Then, as Whis erects his spherical shield around you three, Mechikabura begins revealing his true power. His strength is unlike anything you've ever felt before. The sheer power on display is so immense, so astronomical; it even makes even Dumplin's strength in his 'Fuckbox' dimension look like a bonfire compared to the sun. Just by flaring his aura up a little bit, unleashing just a bit of his restrained power the force knocks everyone below down, even warriors of immense power like Jiren are flattened by his show of force. Whis's shield even begins to crack from the pressure, you seeing genuine shock on the angel's face.

“If you wish to contest your defeat, step forward now.” the Demon God continues. “I shall personally take on any of you who challenge me. But know, before you do, that not even the monster Chronoa could hold a candle to me with all her stolen strength. If you choose to challenge me now, you will die. But it is your choice. Rise, and die. Or allow your leader to submit to me on your behalf. And, should you all surrender, those who have fallen in this battle shall be restored.”

He then resumes suppressing his power, everyone looking around at each other as they slowly begin rising up to their feet. And as you look down to them, you see all of them start looking over towards you, expectantly. You take a deep breath, sighing out and turning from their expectant gazes back to Mechikabura. Then, with everyone's eyes on you, reluctantly you take a knee before him.

“We surrender.” you say, loud and clear so that everyone can hear. “The Time Patrol, and Conton City, belong to the wielder of the Time God's soul.”

To which Mechikabura smirks, clearly understanding the message you sent to everyone but not contesting it. Seems he liked your answer.

“Very well, I accept.” he replies, playing along as he draws her amalgamation soul forth once more, turning and addressing the survivors of the battle while holding up the soul for all to see, and for those who can sense divine ki to feel. “Once I have found a suitable replacement, Conton City will have a new leader. Until then, Trunks will be in charge. And, as my first act: I shall restore your city to its former glory.”

Putting the soul away he conjures the Dark Dragon Balls, refueling them with his power for a SECOND time today, once again summoning forth the Dark Shenron.

“What is your wish? I shall only grant one.” it says, towering above you all. To which Mechikabura turns to you. Only, as he does, a familiar being appears beside him.
“Got them all.” he declares, stepping aside and allowing a couple Broly, each wearing one of the Time Breaker masks to step through. Each one carrying a single body in their massive hands. Each one one of the people in attendance to your interrupted wedding. “Set them down on the ground over there.”

As the Broly start descending you see everyone left immediately power back up, no doubt expecting a fight at first. But as they see what the Broly are carrying immediately power back down, making room and giving them space to lay the dead down on the ground. Once they're all down, Fu calls them back, the giant, hulking warriors flying back through the portal they'd appeared in single-file. And once the last one's done, Fu seals his portal.

“Well? Go ahead.” Mechikabura says to you with a gleam in his eye, gesturing towards the giant dragon overhead. To which you take a deep breath, speaking loud and clear so there can be no misunderstandings.
“I wish for you to bring back to life everyone who was killed in this battle today!” you declare, hearing several surprised murmurs and sounds from those gathered below. “Everyone who was killed in this fight, by Mechikabura's forces, led by Karn. Bring them all back to life!”

“Easy..” the dragon replies, eyes blazing bright. So bright that everything disappears inside that light. Blinding you even through your eyelids and raised forearm. The blinding light persists for several seconds, then as it begins fading you can feel it. Hundreds of powerlevels have suddenly appeared all over Conton City, all the space within the Barrier surrounding this mountain. You sense so many people have been revived, looking down you see your mother, Gohan, and everyone invited to your wedding is awake and at least sitting up, looking around in confusion. But, to your shock, Hyoka lays still, unmoving. You still don't sense her energy either. No, this can't be, this isn't right! She can't still be dead!

So what is your guys' theory on why she's still dead? my bet is that she has been dead for a while and was replaced by an android. my second theory would be that the time loli had someone puppet her corpse to help keep trunks in line.

She was never alive to begin with. Something like a golem that looks like a person?

She had soul.

"Had" being the operative word in that statement I assume.
Whatever the case, I feel kinda bad for Trunks. If he just up and quits once he realizes what's going on, I wouldn't blame him. Nobody deserves to be go through what he's about to.

What Hyoka is/was hasn’t been explained properly yet. But soon will be. And, yes, he’ll probably have a bad time with this knowledge.

Wait...so we are the Undertale reality?

Yes Trunk's, your boss absolutely would catfish you into compliance.
>>
>>5920853
No, reread it. That was DDF and Mechikabura’s reality, the previous existence. But with that small part of that Karn merging with your own, you have that power as well. Determination.
Trunks is in for a really bad time
>>
>>5920853
> Wait...so we are the Undertale reality?
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. It's probably something else though. Speaking of something else, I want to know what Hyoka is specifically, all I know is that her metaphorical strings were cut off as soon as the pink robber baron was ousted
>>
>>5920919
>>5920853
no karn and mechi are from the undertale reality and thats how both of them can tank extremely stupid shit far above their collective levels. that was the prior reality. current reality is the dark/demon souls reality.
>>
>>5920919
How many realities do you know where Determination is -the- deciding factor?
You’ll have to wait until part 2 to see.
>>5920920
Which brings up the most important question of all: why? Is this all part of some scheme, and if so what? Or is it a consequence of her living so long, the lines between reality and fiction blurred beyond recognition? Or, perhaps, it’s both?
>>
>>5920986
I find Asura's Wrath to be more likely.
Determination alone can make one powerful enough to defeat the creator and controller of the very energy that fuels you, there.
The Spiral Energy of TTGL also runs off Determination.
>>
Personally I feel like if it was the undertale universe the time loli would have reset it long before the time war considering that anyone with enough determination can bend and break time to go back
>>
>>5921195
She is not intelligent, we have established this.
>>
>>5921169
But they don't call it Determination there, do they?
>>5921195
Not anyone, only THE most determined person in existence can, unless there's a place with causality cutoff from everywhere else in which case the most determined person there can. And in some cases it requires assistance from a being above you in the hierarchy of existence (I.E. a Player)
>>
>>5921474
It's the connecting thread, and honestly Mechikabura can easily call it whatever the fuck he wants.
>>
Either way, it's time to add the previous reality and "Determination" to the list of schizo theories.
>>
Reminder, the episode doesn’t continue this weekend, but next weekend.
>>5921169

Both Asura's Wrath and TTGL are what I'd describe as 'spectacles'. They're really fuckin cool, they've got some excellent moments, and they're both definitely worth spending your time on...but there is a little bit of an, I dunno, substance issue with them. You really have to lean into the rule of cool with them. Don't get me wrong, it's utterly badass and unbelievably based when a nigga starts punching a planet-sized hand that's trying to squash him and WINS, but it's definitely the kind of thing you turn your brain off with.

So anyways, if Gurenn Lagann was actually a thing here, I'd probably be making an unhinged theory about Karn's (And the berserker soul's) connection to Spiral Energy given the fact that A) Both are Fiery and Green as fuck and B) Both love to pierce through all the bullshit in their way. Karn even invented a drill technique! Hell, I'd also point out that the Antispiral's energy is Hakai Purple.

So I'm curious. Are we ever going to figure out why reality isn't always recreated the same way every time she reset continuity?
>>
>>5922764
If you asked a master craftsman to replicate his magnum opus a thousand times over, every subsequent copy would probably look the same from the distance.
On close inspection however, the minute details might differ wildly for a variety of reasons. Now apply that logic to somebody manually resetting and recreating reality ad infinitum.
Some drift in regards to the details, big and small, is inevitable. Especially when you're starting from scratch every time.
>>
>>5922201
I've watched the 'big' fights, at least a few and some were good. That I remember of it anyways. But never caught my interest enough to watch. Same for something like FT, Erza's 1v100 then the 3-fighter free-for-all. Interesting fights at least conceptually but couldn't get through even a few episodes.
>>5922764
That is what Mechikabura will be studying. Dissecting the Time God soul, studying all the incarnations merged together to try and understand what makes each part 'tick'. Was there a threat so great, a terror so indominable that she had to undo everything, and kept reiterating reality until she found a power capable of destroying him? Is she just so old and forgetful that the aspects of media she consumed over the realities became non-fiction over the reiterations, slowly becoming reality instead of simply stories? Did she just do it to keep power originally, instead of appointing a successor? These are the questions Mechikabura will be digging into, peering into the truth of why she did what she did.
>>5922866
Then add on to having at minimum around 74 million years of life in your first reality, then all of each subsequent reality? She's forgotten more than the past ten realities' collectively knew combined.
>>
>>5922888
Oh yeah, didn't you say you were gonna elaborate on the fate of Tomitsu a few days ago?
>>
>>5922932
Shit, you're right. Didn't I? Well, if I didn't I'll go over it here. Tomitsu's consciousness is a combination of both Tatsu and Tomi. When Tatsu died, that part of Tomitsu perished instantly as well. Lobotomizing Tomitsu, Tomi feeling her brother perishing first near-instantly then feeling Tomitsu's consciousness fading into nothing. Hearing the last thoughts of Tomitsu as:
>"I...Don't wan....to....die..."
Kind of rough to have that echoing in your head as you're suddenly, for the first time in your life, completely alone in your head. She's far more fucked up than Tatsu. But, even upon Tatsu's revival, Tomitsu isn't "back". Tomitsu, being a merging of their consciousness built over more than a decade of the twin's continuous psychic link, isn't something that can be recreated instantly. For now, Tomitsu's effectively dead and gone.
>>
>>5922951
That is certainly more fucked than I expected. I wish we could bring back Dumplin right now and obliterate him permanently for that, not to mention the rest of the grief he put our family through.
>>
>>5922888
>>5922866
This is both incredibly fascinating and horrifying at the same time.

... Oh God, does this mean all Dragon Ball fanfiction is canon in this scenario? AF, Absalon, Multiverse, etc... All of those would be previous realities that Chronoa has deleted in the past.
>>
>>5922951
Is there any way to restore tomitsu
>>
>>5922956
Yes, he has taken much from your family.
>>5922966
Quite possibly. Either it WAS real in one reality, undone with the Time Scroll's destruction at some point. Or was just something she's read in this reality, what she potentially planned to add to the next reality.
>>5922978

>>
>>5923198

Who? Everyone was revived. Tomitsu isn’t technically “alive”, and Hyoka has been brought back. Her body was fully healed and brought back to life. But the dragon can’t resurrect a soul that’s still alive.
>>5923385
True.
>>
>>5923852

>>
>>5923852
I have to ask, while Cooler is certainly more of an asshole than Frieza is now, how is he as a peacetime ruler?
Do his current thoughts rest on conquering more of known space? Or is he just concerned with maintaining the breadth of what's already built?
Has Cold given any thought to making a formal gesture of goodwill towards Caulifla after offending her way back when? Sure, it's not something he needs to do, but I imagine it would go a long way towards getting back in Karn's good graces.
Also, is he still in collaboration with Kars? Is the timeline on that plan still looking like it'll take centuries?
>>
>>5924010
Oof.
>>5924082
A bit more hands-off, relying on several different factions to keep things running smoothly and only using his power and office to settle disputes immediately. Tolerating no infighting, keeping them all in line instead of with backstabbing. Especially the banking clans, one of who you may become more familiar with soon…
Expansion never ceases, but he’s not personally overseeing it. He’s seen Beerus’ power firsthand, now thinks even the gold of his grandfather isn’t enough. He spends most of his personal time bettering himself physically and mentally.
No. He’s already forgotten it happened. But she hasn’t.
Yes, and who knows? While Kars’ personal power has continued to grow, he’s now observing your future daughter, Towa, and the others not of this world. Their presence has caused quite a stir in the divine realm, a disquiet that’s only swelled without any response from the Supreme Kai of Time.
>>
>>5924188
Is Mechikabura at all concerned about the elephant in the room that's shaped like a football-headed kid with omnipotence?
>>
>>5924211
Why would he be concerned? While Zeno can pop universes at will, Mechikabura survived reality erasure. He’s more worried about you than Zeno, as he’s ACTIVELY taken precautions against your powers. Which does bring up a good point I thought the Mechikabura distrusters would have immediately latched onto. He has your time scroll. Directly on his person at all times.

Duumbass better not fuck up twice, we won't let him reset.
>>
>>5924550
Yeah he has it on him at all time but eh. I'm not going to be throwing bbq's and sending him a personal invite, Mechikabura hasn't lived this long being dumb. He won thanks to Karn, who also killed Dumplin who would have potentially taken him down, and Karn has 0 care about other timelines unless someone waves a portal to another timeline where his family is getting fucked over.

As has been said before, Mechi can just wait 100 years for Karn to drop dead of Old Age and make a move then if he feels like theres need. Theres no logical reason for him to come after us at this point.
>>
>>5924563
Who do you think funds the PTO? Or who gave Vox the initial loan for his first combat arena? But, they’re balanced out by knowing the Cold clan will erase them if they try and take too much more than the official rate. Knowing all the money in the universe won’t save them, should they draw a Cold’s ire keeps them in line.
>>5924565
Might hit him with the classic “Not gonna kill you, but not gonna save you either” line.
The complete blackout from SKoT, after many have observed her forces and his family clashing, leads many to believe she’s actually gone.
>>5924566
He wouldn’t go for a reset. Worst comes to pass, he’d simply seal your time scroll. Isolating it from the rest of time, preventing all travel to/from that timeline but not outright fighting you. There is a chance, however small you could find some way to overcome him. As you nearly had in the previous reality.
>>5924582
Karn is a very powerful but fickle weapon, one he knows could possibly be turned back around on him. Far easier to give him no reason to turn than defeat him.
As for that plan, well. The Berserker Soul itself is rather hard to outlast.
>>
>>5924599
I mean tbf Karn has a few rather unique assets that the rest of his family doesn't. Mainly his kids probably won't inherit DETERMIANTION, Divine Dragon Force is unlikely to stick around, and unless Broly or one of other children unlock whatever it is you call that Ascended Berserker God form that Previous Karn unlocked, which we haven't even yet, then he really doesn't have to worry that much about the Berserker Soul Itself.

>Mainly his kids probably won't inherit DETERMIANTION
Too late. Chaya most definitely inherited it, even if the influences of her Sith teachings and Pseudo-Godhood are smothering it.
When push comes to shove and all she has left is her own power, I'm sure she'll show that determination once again.
>>
>>5924614
Karn has had access to that Determination from episode 1. When the soul of that other Karn bonded to your own at the first tiebreaker. It has been a part of you ever since.
As for the Berserker Soul, it is the fact that it is anathema to divine powers, even divine demon powers that causes him to be wary. Most Broly who inherit the Soul in their own timelines don’t come close to tapping into its true strength.
>>5924628
It hasn’t stopped her Determination. If anything, the nature of her divinity has only strengthened it. Much like you, yet in her own way, she doesn’t fight only for herself.

Yeah, I imagine we'll simply pass DDF and the Berserker Soul both down to whoever is most suited towards wielding both in defense of the Saiyan race. Determining who that is is another thing entirely though.
It might be good to start thinking of some criteria for that, as well as who the most promising potential hosts are. Maybe some kind of provisional tests and trials as well.
>>
>>5924682
Ha. When Doto taps in to his inner Florida Man, he can go far.

But this. He’ll throw away a win for a good bit every single time.

Yes. But in that particular case, Future Chaya didn’t inherit the Berserker Soul.
>>5924754
While DDF is one you’d actively have to seek an heir to, the Berserker Soul will go to whichever Berserker who already had access to its power can claim the soul for themselves. In your timeline, the others you’d shared it with have all lost that power now. Except for one, who through sheer fucking will managed to keep that tiny piece of Karn to herself.

QM QUESTIONS

With this arc winding down and the new arc about to start revving up, I want to pick everyone’s brains before moving forward, see where I can improve or what areas need more focus. Which overall arc was your favorite/least favorite? Top five(or more) moments, good and bad? Of all the “SCQ OC” characters, who do you personally like the most? Who feels the most/least “real” in terms of characterization? Which characters do you think need more screentime, and who has had far too much(if any)? Do you enjoy the DB plots more, or prefer the other series/influence plots? And last but not least, now that SKoT is out of the way, do you want to stay in your own timeline more? Or do you want to explore other timelines?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 212 Intermission II-

AGE 867, CONTON CITY RUINS

“Farewell!” Dark Shenron roars, body turning to light then returning back into the seven Dark Dragon Balls. But before they can vanish you focus your power, restraining them and draining the rest of their power, reverting them back into powerless rocks. All seven start dropping, you catching them with telekinesis before opening a portal, sending all of them back to the foot of your throne. Once they're all through you shut it back, turning your focus back on the Time Patrollers below. Many of who have gone from looking around up to you, eyes a mixture of shock, awe, and fear. Except for one, who doesn't even look your way. Instead his focus is on a body laying still, one who feels... Different, wrong even, though you can't place exactly why.

“Hyoka? Hey Hyoka! Hyoka!!” the boy Trunks shouts, flying down to her and scooping the body up in his arms. You watch as he places his right hand to her neck, feeling for a pulse, for any sign of life as she lay unmoving, unresponsive. For a few seconds you watch, feeling yourself frown as he no doubt feels a pulse, you seeing the relief in his body language. But, unfortunately for him, she will never wake up. Carefully he opens her left eye with his right hand's fingertips, watching her pupil contract in the light. But she still doesn't respond, her body laying limp. “What's wrong Hyoka? Talk to me!”
“She's not going to wake up, Trunks.” you say to him, trying to soften your voice. He seems to care for that woman quite a bit, which makes what you have to tell him all the worse. “This body you hold has no soul.”

“What?! You-!” he exclaims, turning and looking shocked. Which quickly turns to anger, eye twitching as you feel his divine aura start to rise within him. “What the hell did you say about my Hyoka?!”
“You should watch your tone.” you reply levelly, then repeat yourself. “That body has no soul. For the Dragonballs to resurrect the body, but not the soul, can mean only one of a few different things. None of them good for you.”
“Like what? Did Karn take her soul when he killed her?” Trunks asks, fury in his eyes. His emotions are raging, nearly out-of-control at the 'loss' of this person.

“No, Karn was only in possession of two souls, when dragging your dying body from the Time Nest. Neither of which were, well, entirely mortal.” you reply, remembering the two different souls you had seen within him. The blazing inferno of rage that he calls the Berserker God, but then there was a shadow as well. A Dark, one which runs deep in this reality. “No, I fear you will like what I have to say even less. “This 'person' was never real. It was always simply a construct.”

“Wh-What?” he says, a look of fear coming to his face. “No, that's not true. That's impossible!”
“Here, allow me to show you.” you say, floating down to him. Landing beside the boy you place your right on her head, left on his own. “Now you shall see the true nature of this...Thing.”

Quickly focusing your magical power, you dive into the redheaded woman's mind, dragging his consciousness down into her mind along with you. Reality spirals for a moment, then when everything settles you find yourself in, well. Not what you'd expected. Diving into other beings' minds would give you a good sense of the being; how they think, what they hold dear, what makes them, well. Themselves. But this being's mind is quite different than anything you've ever seen before, even for a construct that others pilot.

“What....IS this...?” Trunks asks, looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings in shock. “W-Where are we?”
“This is the inside of her mind.” you tell him, gesturing to the altar in the darkness with your left hand. “I brought your soul inside this construct, so you could see the truth of this being for yourself. So, what do you think? Is this not what you were expecting?”
“Why does it look like we're in some sort of... Shrine?” he asks, looking at the altar before you both. One with a bronze-seeming brazer embedded in what seem to be some sort of roots that you recognize. “What is this?”
“Allow me to demonstrate.” you say, again using your Soul Cross technique to take the fragment of the Time God Soul from him, pulling it from his chest and leaving it in his hands without touching him. “Go ahead. Fill the vessel with that soul, if you wish to see the truth.”

He looks from you to the alter, to the soul in his hands before looking back to you. Then, resolve hardening you see him walk over, leaning into the giant bowl and placing that flame in the bottom. Immediately the fire takes, igniting and growing larger as he pulls back. The light from the fiery soul begins to spill out through tracks in the bottom of the altar, burning across the floor in an intricate pattern.

“Woah!” he exclaims, dodging the fires around his feet, watching as the different paths of fire reach what appear to be some sort of stone tablets. The fires begin blazing across their empty surfaces, forming writing in the ancient writings of the first gods of this reality. “This writing, it... It's written in the divine language!”
“Oh? You actually know the First Tongue?” you ask, genuinely impressed. You hadn't expected such a lowly being to be privy to the true language of this existence.
“Of course, I studied it after becoming Chronoa's apprentice.” he replies, turning back to the words. But as he studies each of the giant stone slabs, you see his countenance begin to change, turning from shock to confusion.

“But why does this look almost like.... Like a programming language? If/Elses, Whens, even calling variables? I've not seen writing in the ancient language like this before, what could it...?” he asks, speaking aloud to himself more to you. But then he suddenly gets it, eyes widening in shock before he can finish his sentence. “No. No, that's not right. This can't be...”

As reality begins dawning on the young half-Saiyan, suddenly you feel something... Different. Not just different to this timeline or reality, but something you've NEVER felt before. Focused on this sensation you look up, seeing an unfamiliar symbol burning in the flames above as well. But as you watch the flames turn from normal to blue, devouring the strange symbol entirely and forming a ring. One encircling a point of absolute Dark, resembling the Darksign. Except, instead of the Abyss of Man ringed by the fires of the Lord of Light, it is a ring of blue fire, radiating a power you're completely unfamiliar with. Which is when you realize that it's time to go.

Immediately you end the spell, pulling yourself and Trunks from the empty husk and returning to reality. He looks around in confusion, then back down to the woman in his arms. As he does, you see the man simply break. His resolve crumbles, going limp as the woman in his arms slumps to the ground. Tears streak down his face as he just loses it, a blue-haired woman running over and sliding to a stop, putting her arms around his shoulders. While she does you focus on the body laying there, ripping that soul fragment away with a gesture. Immediately that terrible feeling subsides, whatever was feeding on that divine soul to materialize begins fading away just as quickly. After a second it's gone, you sighing out in relief. Only for the blue-haired woman holding onto the boy to turn and begin shouting so loudly that you actually flinch from the volume.

“What the hell did you do to my Trunks?!” the woman screams, fury in her eyes as she glares up at you. The sheer difference between you and this being is so wildly vast that it's almost comical, yet she shows no hint of fear. “If you hurt him, so help me I'll-!”
“All I did was show him the truth. That this...Woman, isn't real.” you explain as Trunks continues to ugly cry, showing no restraint nor care for the world around him anymore. “She was little more than a puppet, with another pulling her strings.”

You hear several gasps from those gathered around, no doubt from those who had thought they knew this person. But you can't help but wonder what the truth of that symbol was inside her, as well as that unfamiliar, sinister energy you'd felt. You need answers and can think of only one other being besides Chronoa who could possibly have an answer.

So, without another word you take to the air, turning towards the large school building and flying away from the gathered crowd. Only for another power to begin pursuing you.You don't acknowledge the being radiating with the power of a Demon God, albeit not the true might until you come to a stop over the building, turning to face her. The grey-skinned woman also flies to a stop, staring you down. Her garish uniform reminds you of a certain someone, along with the power. Seems like you are the bearer of bad news today.

“Puddin. I take it you're well?” you ask her, the woman glaring at your attempt to be friendly.
“Where is my daddy?” she asks, barely restrained rage in her voice. “What did you do to him?”
“I have done nothing.” you reply levelly. “He made his choices.”
“Don't fuck with me, or I'll eat you and find out the truth from your memories.” she threatens, clenching her fists so hard her arms start trembling. “Where. Is. He?”
“Last time I saw him, your father's soul had latched onto Karn's own. Siphoning off his power to restore his physical body after being destroyed by the Saiyan's Stand.” you say, her eyes widening, jaw dropping in shock. “He chose to battle Karn, and paid the price.”

“No way. You think HE could beat my Daddy? That nobody couldn't even beat ME, much less him!” she exclaims, steam pouring out of the holes in her head as her anger rises. But as you don't rise to her provocation, simply staring at her, not answering, she quickly loses steam. Her anger fades, replaced by worry. “No, he... He didn't...Did he?”

“Your father was beaten. If you wish to see for yourself, lend me your aid a moment.” you reply, turning back and flying over the building below before flying down the side of the cliff. “I will show you, once I've found what I'm looking for.”
“What are you doing?” she asks, taking off after you. “You looking for the prison entrance?”
“Exactly. I wish to see who Chronoa has imprisoned, rightfully or wrongfully.” you tell her, flying to a stop as you can feel the light magic in the air. No doubt forming an illusion hiding the doorway. “Do you know how to enter? It might save me some trouble having to break my way in.”

“Of course. Daddy showed me how to.” she replies, looking the wall over in silence a few moments. Then she stretches both arms out, turning and driving her fists into the illusion at more than ten feet apart. As the illusion wavers, you suddenly hear a click, a massive door appearing and opening. She withdraws her hands, turning and giving you a gesture of victory before speaking up. “Piece of cake!”

“I appreciate it.” you reply, nodding to her before you start walking down the hall. “Now, let us see if my hunch is correct.”
“Your hunch? What's that?” she asks as you make your way deeper, heading down deeper and deeper into the complex. “Are you looking for someone specific?”
“In a manner of speaking, yes.” you reply as the two of you travel deeper and deeper, your senses blocked from the outside world by the prison's many shields. Also keeping those above unaware of this place and who are prisoners here a secret as well. “With what I was able to observe of the battle between your father and Karn, he was able to absorb the 'me' of this reality. Stealing my powers at my peak, using that strength to slaughter the Saiyan's family in an attempt to make this reality like the previous one.”

“Oh yeah, where he was friends with that dumb Saiyan before, after you killed his family.” she replies, uncaring about the deaths her father caused. “Why didn't you kill his family again this time, like you did before?”
“Because turning the Berserker God Karn against me led to my eventual defeat.” you reply, passing through yet another layer of security, reaching the lowest level you can sense. Where there is only a single other powerlevel besides you and Puddin. One that feels quite familiar, yet slightly different. But that makes sense, as you haven't met her in this time. “Now, how about we say hello to Chronoa's most dangerous guest?”

“Most dangerous?” Puddin asks, clearly excited as you come to a pair of doors. One sits ajar, no doubt where this reality's you was kept. You can even feel faint traces of your own magic, as if he'd been trying to weave together enough power to break the seals on his containment and escape. At least, until Dumplin had absorbed him. So, you instead turn to the other door, opening it to reveal a tiny, petite form. Left standing in the center of her stone cell, manacles around her wrists attached to the walls as well as irons around her ankles, keeping her perpetually locked in place in a 'T' shape. The tiny, blue-skinned Kai looks up as the door opens, her eyes widening in shock. Clearly, she hadn't expected YOU to be the one opening the door of all people.

“M-Mechikabura? But how? How did? How did you escape?” she asks, voice hoarse and raspy from disuse. Despite how long she'd been locked up she looks the same as always. Chronoa even left the woman's Kai earrings on her, adding extra insult to her current state. “Hurry, run! Leave, before she finds out you've gotten free!”
“Greetings, former Supreme Kai of Time Aeos.” you say, slowly drawing forth the Time God soul once more. You can't suppress the smug grin that comes to your face as you watch her eyes widen in shock. Clearly understanding the implications. “There is much for us to discuss.”

So she actually had the foresight to lock up Aeos in this reality...
Here's hoping she's a little more reasonable than her successor was.
>>
>>5927168
Hmmmhmmhmm, its getting interesting! But more importantly, man, Trunks cant ever catch a break. Now that we are over our grudge this is just sadistic.
>>
So glad I somehow got a burst of inspiration to finish this post. Everything from the second post forward was written this evening.

>>5927175
No doubt after the events of a previous one where she hadn’t, and Aeos no doubt caused trouble of some kind.
Being imprisoned for tens if not hundreds of millions of years certainly isn’t GOOD for the mental state.
>>
>>5927209
honestly we should have killed him again after we accidentally resurrected him. it would have been kinder than what he got
>>
>>5927165
One more thing. Fucking Mechi, he knew about Dumplin and he just let us go like that. Yeah, I know we came out stronger but that shit almost went tits up you bastard.
>>
>>5927209
But now that his final shackle to another’s will has been broken, he is free. Not happy, but he is free to choose his own destiny now.
>>5927213
From a certain point of view. He is now free to live as he sees fit, a kindness not offered to him before. As he was always beholden to someone else’s will, be they android or god.
>>5927217
He thought you could feel him just as well if not better than he could sense, that you could feel his soul latched onto your own and would handle it yourself. Had he known you were completely unaware he’d have helped you.
>>
>>5927222
>He thought you could feel him just as well if not better than he could sense, that you could feel his soul latched onto your own and would handle it yourself.
Does he not realize Karn doesn't know shit about this spiritual soul business beyond what he learned under Pybara.
>>
>>5927168
Oh shit, this might get really fucking bad if she gets free and up to her usual shit again. Especially if she nukes towas timeline and we have to get off our ass to murder her.

>Especially if she nukes Towas timeline and we have to get off our ass to murder her.
Mechikabura would never let that happen.
Karn keeping to himself is the ideal scenario for everybody, himself included.
I'm sure Mechikabura will have a LONG discussion with Aeos about what's permissible under him.
If she doesn't feel like complying, she'd only be marginally more difficult to erase than Chronoa.
If all goes well, I imagine she'll be given the token title of Interim Supreme Kai of Time until Trunks can properly assume the mantle.
The idea here being that Trunks becoming the Supreme Kai of Time is better for Mechikabura in the long run.
And even when he does inevitably take up the mantle (thanks to being the only credible candidate), he'll still need guidance and support.
Good thing there's a Demon God around with boundless strength to match his incomparable wisdom...
>>

As fuck up as it is, Tatsu has to experience what Tomi went through to help re-establish that connection. Raven, get the emotional experience simulacrum link ready. Just talking about it isn't enough or capable of describing pic related.

Ah shit forgot my pic

Not even a knowledge gap, he thought you could feel his parasitic attachment.
>>5927354
>up to her usual shit
Probably not. Not after what she’s been through. But, if she tries, Mechikabura will take matters into his own hands.
>>5927408
If he even gives her the role. For now Trunks is “in charge” of Conton City, whenever he recovers from learning the truth.
But Mechikabura doesn’t want to play the close supervisor role, especially not now. He needs to find out what Hyoka is, what that ominous feeling was. Much less dissecting the Time Soul, finding out about all the other realities she erased.
>>5927524
Not necessarily, as when he was dead the link was severed on his end as well. The difference was the language of Karn’s wish and the exact words used.
>>
24 hours until this episode resumes! Are you ready?
>>
>>5927563
I'm aware but do you honestly think Tatsu can really comprehend what his sister went through and help her through without directly experiencing an iota of her trauma? Like I want them to be better and go back to a sense of normality but with how you describe it, Totsu might be better off if she never has that connection restored otherwise.
>>
>>5927690
It goes deeper than that. He could feel everything she felt as he was dying, unable to help her much less himself. He could feel himself fading through her perceptions as much as his own, just as she could feel everything he felt and thought while he was dying. Their link went so deep that, even for a moment after his death, he could still feel her pain and despair. Then that last link broke and his soul went to the afterlife. The only difference is the wording of the wish, how it affected the dead and their health upon each individual’s resurrection.
>>
It's just been bombshell after bombshell during this quest session. Rewritten realities reiterated over and over again? Aeos stuck in stupid bitch jail? The fact that Trunks didn't know redheads have no souls? Chronoa running a jewish scheme for an unfathomable amount of time, yet still jobbing in spite of her practically infinite experience?
>>
>>5928107
And lets not forget the real possibility that Tomitsu could be perma dead like Android 16 ;-;
>>
>>5928107
>yet still jobbing in spite of her practically infinite experience?
There's such a thing as diminishing returns, even as far as experience goes. Besides, even the most advanced intellect can only process so much information and make use of it. And Chronoa was...clever, but certainly not smart.
>>
>>5928107
>The fact that Trunks didn't know redheads have no souls?
Do you have ANY IDEA how long I’ve been waiting for this joke I made, how many YEARS it has been of me holding my tongue until this single punchline finally landed? Thank you.
>Aeos stuck in stupid bitch jail?
Even worse, she AND Mechikabura were imprisoned together, their cells in the deepest pit of the hidden prison. But will Mechikabura make it back out is the real question.
Chronoa lost because she, unlike Mechikabura, didn’t fully understand the rules of this reality and underestimated how it could be used against her. He learned how to manipulate souls, whereas she’s become complacent.
>Tomitsu
We’ll see what happens.
>>
>>5928141
True. She has become too reliant on her Time Powers, using them near-exclusively, whereas after his defeat Mechikabura learned all he could of how this world works. And how he developed Soul Cross to take her power from her, knowing she stockpiled Time God powers from each reality.
>>
>>5928153
Soul Cross huh? How's that work?
Also, had we employed Forced Spirit Fission on Chronoa, would that have been effective as well?
>>
>>5928162
You’ve seen it in use, both with Trunks and even Beerus. He can take your Soul, whatever Soul empowers you. However, it only works because he has combined techniques from this reality and the previous one, giving him an edge with his Determination. He actually ripped the Time God soul from Chronoa soon as you left the Time Nest, denying her most her power in their fight.
No. The most it could have achieved(and still potentially can, but probably by one more skilled than you) would be to split THIS reality’s Time God soul from the amalgamation she wielded.
>>
>>5927164
Oh, so Trunk's mom still cares? Lol.
>>5927168
And she gives a fuck about a Mechi? What the hell did Pinky do to them down there?
>>
>>5928107
Pinky is truely a Jew, they can't create, only subvert or destroy, or fuck in her case when making Hyoka.
>>
soon
>>
>>5928463
Of course she does. No matter what, that’s HER son. That’s the OG Bulma, timeline 1 same as Trunks.
They were both taken by Chronoa, imprisoned there in those cells where they couldn’t even die. I imagine that’d foster at least some level of camaraderie, over hundreds of millions of years just by itself.
>>5928469
You have no idea what created Hyoka, but Mechikabura knows(or at least thinks) it wasn’t her.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

A new day dawned on New Salda, Karn confronting Beerus the Destroyer shortly after waking before spending some quality time with his youngest daughter. Then, once everyone was awake and fed, Karn decided to formally introduce his family to King Vegeta and Queen Cenoria. Only for Maza to immediately challenge King Vegeta IV for the throne. King Vegeta, despite being the weaker easily bested Maza, the half-Saiyan not taking his loss well. But as he raged silently, preparing to attack the King the moment his guard dropped, Emilia interfered, slitting his throat then giving him a healing capsule to save his life. Shortly afterwards, a massive powerlevel appeared, rapidly approaching the Saiyan world. And as we rejoin Karn, Lord Freeza, former emperor of the universe just landed.

“Freeza? What's going on?” you ask him, wondering what could call him back to your world so urgently that he didn't even take the time to teleport. “What's happening?”
“Artcus, the drunk bastard. He's cracked the code on that Motherbox!” Freeza exclaims, you hearing Towa gasp in surprise. No doubt knowing more than you of how difficult a task that would be. “We now know not only where his next attack will be, but when. And not a moment too soon, as we only have a single hour until it starts at most.”
“Until what starts?” Future Chaya asks him, Freeza turning from you to her, his expression turning more confused. “Who wants a professional ass kicking?”

“Hold on. Aren't you...? No, nevermind. If you're around, I would appreciate your collaboration against this threat.” Freeza says, shaking off his momentary confusion. “Last time, even with all of our powers readied the extra-dimensional being Darkseid proved to be...Rather troublesome. Your powers would be most appreciated.”
“Hell yeah, I'm in!” your future daughter exclaims happily. “I never got to fight a Darkseid before. What about you Ace?”
“No, not yet.” he answers, glaring warily to Freeza. Who notices his look, smirking a bit to himself as he meets Ace's gaze a moment before turning to Towa. Ignoring Ace's reaction completely.

“Lady Towa, I take it that you are well? Settling in here on New Salda well enough?” Freeza asks, giving her a small bow.
“Yes, of course. Adjusting to this level of gravity constantly will be a bit of an adjustment for me, but I'll be fine.” she responds, giving him a small bow of courtesy as well in response. “I am happy to be here.”

As she says those words you feel a bit warm in your chest, the realization that you really DID IT hitting you once more. After everything you've done it, you have gotten all your family to live in one timeline.

“That is good to hear. Then, I take it I can trust you as an advisor?” he replies, catching her off guard. “With your knowledge in both the magical and scientific arts, having you assist when you can would be a great help.”
“Of course. There are a few adjustments I've already considered, and certain outcomes I'd rather avoid, where possible. But it would be my pleasure.” she replies, causing Freeza to smirk again before turning back around to you.

“Well, old friend, look at you.” Freeza says, walking back over to you. “You really did it, huh? Good for you, I knew even time itself couldn't stop you. Not if you were determined enough. So, what do you say? Are you ready for another round with that bastard Darkseid?”

Well? How do you respond?
>Of course, this time I'll take him down myself. You won't have to even raise a finger yourself
>Ready, knowing you've got the full might of your family behind you this time you won't fail

“I'm ready.” you reply confidently. To which Freeza chuckles.
“Oh ho? That confident, are we?” he asks you with a grin. “Not feeling too overconfident after your recent victory, are you?”
“Not at all, I'm ready. Knowing I've got the full might of ALL of my family behind me this time, I won't fail. Darkseid doesn't stand a chance against us all.” you reply. “With everyone together, he doesn't stand a chance.”

“Well, I must say that we have quite the gathering of powerful beings here.” Freeza says, giving you a nod. “I believe even Lord Beerus himself could be bested by the powers gathered here.”
“Beerus ain't nothing. I can beat Beerus with just me an' Ace.” Future Chaya brags, you both turning towards her. “There might not be a planet left, or any left anywhere, but we wouldn't lose.”
“Well, then I would ask you to not. Despite no longer being Emperor of the Universe currently, I do have aspirations to return to that throne. And would appreciate having a universe left to rule.” Freeza tells her, your alternate timeline daughter rubbing the back of her head with a nervous giggle. He then turns his gaze to Milha, who'd been quiet up to this point. “I do not believe we've met yet. At least, no longer than the words shared at your half-brother's wedding. What is your name?”

“M-M-Me? I'm M-Milha.” she replies nervously, clearly not expecting to be a part of this conversation. “Nice to meet you again.”
“And you as well. I look forward to learning more of you.” he tells her, your half-demon daughter looking surprised at this as Freeza turns his gaze to another of your half-demons. And once all the introductions are done, Freeza telling Maza he wants to see his full power again soon, the former emperor returns to your side. “Well, now that we still have a bit of time on our hands before the upcoming battle, do you have any plans in particular?”
“Like what?” you ask him, wondering what the former emperor has in mind.

“If you're not too terribly busy, you and I could go for another spar, before the fight.” he says, not trying to sound too eager. “We did miss our usual time this morning, due to all this business after all.”

Well? How do you respond?

“I'm always up for it. But let's keep it in base form today.” you reply, rolling your shoulder and stretching out. “If we're going to fight him soon, best not to use our full power now.”
“Fair enough, let us enjoy ourselves.” he says, then looks past you to the others. “You all are welcome to watch as well. Who knows, perhaps one of us will teach you something new?”
“Oh yeah, I'm in. This ought to be good.” Future Chaya says, you seeing her tail twitch in excitement. You and Freeza take to the air, everyone else following behind as you and the former emperor return to your training site. Both of you land, facing each other down a short distance apart as everyone else lands at the edge of the crater.

“Well then, let's see what you've got.” he replies, taking his fighting stance. His power dwarfs your own, his strength dozens of times greater than your own. You immediately begin tapping into your Berserker power, letting that strength fill you. Not enough to actually transform, but just enough to infuse your being with that strength. Just enough to start closing the massive gap in raw strength between you and he. “Oh? Not fighting me with solely your base power?”
“Come on Lord Freeza, I thought you wanted a more even fight?” you reply, taking your fighting stance as well, staring him down as your kids start calling out and cheering you both on. “Just being so much stronger wouldn't make a good warm up, now would it?”
“Well, I suppose you're right.” he replies with a smirk. “Go.”

At his word you both surge forward immediately, you blocking his right fist with your left forearm. Immediately following it up with your own right, he raises his left to block your strike as well. The shock wave blasts out from you both at the points of impact, you both stopping each other's forward progress immediately. Drawing your right back you fire off a right turning kick, only for the former emperor to mirror you. Shins crack together, the shock from the impact knocking you both back. However, due to your larger frame you're able to recover quicker, planting your right foot behind you and kicking off the ground. Dashing in just as Freeza recovers, catching him square in the face with a straight left. Only for the former emperor to take the force of your strike, turning the momentum into a back flip and catching you in the chin with his left foot. Snapping your head back and stopping your forward momentum, giving him the second he needs to flip back onto his feet.

“Heh. Not bad.” you reply, planting your feet and immediately launching back into the fray. You and Freeza move like blurs, throwing dozens if not a hundred blows a second back and forth. Having fought each other so many times, you fell almost like you're more predicting his attacks than reacting to them, both of you stopping the majority of each other's strikes. Every dozen or so one of your blows connect, either slipping past his guard or catching him as he tries evading one of your attacks. However, he gives as much as he takes, your larger frame a far easier target than the emperor's smaller body. Then, as he ducks your right straight, trying to get in even closer you smirk, he took the bait. You'd overextended the strike to leave yourself vulnerable, knowing he'd try and take advantage. And as he dashes in you kick off the ground with your left, driving your right knee up into his chin. Snapping the former emperor's head back, sending him flying.

“Kyaaah?!” he exclaims, you planting your feet and kicking off after him as he cries out. You dash in, Freeza flipping backwards once. And seeing you coming throws his right forward, firing a wave of ki at you. Only for you to use the Su Ma's evasion style, twisting around the blast and closing the distance into a spinning right elbow to the temple. Once again sending him flying, which you stop by continuing your spin, reaching up and catching his ankle with your rightt hand. Jerking him back towards you into a left lariat, forearm smashing into his torso and sending him crashing down to the ground. You remain in the air a moment, Freeza blazing his aura and blasting away the smoke cloud kicked up as he rises back to his feet. “I must admit, I should have seen that one coming. But you won't get so lucky again.”

Without another word he kicks back up off the ground, blazing up towards you and swinging again with a heavy right. You immediately go into the Su Ma technique again, ready to dodge when you see him smirk. His attack stops short, no doubt anticipating you to spin again. And as you see him readying himself to deal with your next hit, you suddenly have an idea! Knowing he expects you to spin you instead immediately kick back with your right leg, full force. Just like back before you knew how to fly, kicking off with your right leg and driving your right fist into your old man Tatsu. This kick is strong enough to cause a burst of wind like a shock wave to explode out from your heel, stopping your spin. And, not only that, but shifting your momentum back the opposite way. Throwing your right shoulder forward, you drive your right square into his face, all the force of your sudden direction shift is transferred up from your leg, through your torso and out through your fist directly into Freeza.

“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, your heavy blow sending him flying.

“GYAAAAAAH?!!” he exclaims, sounding more shocked than injured as your punch sends him up into the clouds. Your punch transferred so much power into him that the clouds themselves disperse as he flies through them, disappearing from sight.

From down below you can hear your family's calls of surprise as well as their cheers as you look back at your fist. You'd never tried anything like that before, stopping the momentum of your Su Ma so abruptly like that. Something tells you this sort of technique won't always work, but these principles could make the Su Ma style even harder to predict and anticipate. As you hover there, looking at your fist suddenly you sense Freeza's ki behind you, immediately dashing forwards a yard or two before turning, looking back to see your friend's expression. He doesn't even seem angry, more surprised than anything.

“What was that? You've never shifted your attack angle mid-spin like that before.” he says, sounding genuinely curious. “I must say, you caught me quite by surprise with that one.”
“Dunno, just had the idea when I saw you were ready for the normal Su Ma spinning evade.” you reply, looking back to your fist a moment before looking him in the eye again. “Want to keep going?
“Do you even have to ask?” he replies, retaking his fighting stance.

But what do you do now?
>Keep working with this new idea on the Su Ma, stopping some of your spinning dodges by reversing the momentum and going in instead of committing to the dodges
>Call a stop to the spar, have you and Freeza, along with Meloka and whoever else wants to to start trying this out, to see how viable it could be to practice such a technique

GD, we demolished that second DC. Unless 93 is somehow lower than 50 all of the sudden.

Taking your fighting stance once again, you gesture with your left hand for Freeza to come to you. He smirks, left eye twitching as he then blasts off towards you. Raising your left arm you block his heavy right, the force of his blow sending you flying backwards through your guard.

“Tch.” you seethe through clenched teeth, Freeza dashing back to you again. Once more he draws his right fist back, no doubt trying to get you to use that same technique again. So you oblige him, twisting your upper body clockwise around his fist. You again try and kick back, to reverse your momentum and go in for a strike. But Freeza's not having it, twisting his arm at the forearm. Bringing his right arm up and back, the back of his right fist smashes into your face. Breaking your concentration and sending you flying back away from him. “Gyuh!?”

“Too slow.” Freeza taunts you, dashing back to you and flipping, slamming his tail into your chest. Sending you crashing down back-first to the ground down below. You lay still a moment before flipping back up to your feet. Only to have to immediately leap away, Freeza dropping down like a meteor right at where you'd been only an instant before. He then immediately kicks off the ground, firing off a left straight at you. Only for you to again dodge with the Su Ma's spin, your entire body spinning counterclockwise. For a split second you consider trying to stop, but realizing he expects it you continue the motion and spin into a left elbow to the base of his skull. “Kyuh?! HAAAA!”

Your heavy blow staggers him a step, the former emperor planting his feet and firing back a left elbow of his own. Only for you to kick off the ground, realizing that now's the perfect moment. Instead of continuing your flip into a spinning elbow or kick, you instead fire a heavy right straight up into the air while kicking 'back' with your left foot, driving your heel into the back of his head.

“Guyah-?!” he exclaims, your heavy blow knocking him down onto all fours. Then you twist, putting that momentum behind your left fist as you swing down. Freeza, not wanting to take the hit kicks off, shooting out under your fist along the ground an instant before your heavy blow lands. You rise back up to your feet, blowing the dust cloud you'd kicked up with a sweep of your left hand to reveal Freeza, back on his feet. “I didn't think you could use this technique from there as well. I honestly hadn't thought you were this skilled with Su Ma, how long have you been holding onto this?”

“Huh? What do you mean?” you ask him, Freeza's posture belaying his sudden confusion at your answer. “What do you mean?”
“Are you telling me that you just... figured out one of the most advanced levels of Su Ma on your own?” he asks, sounding shocked. “Not even Father can use that technique that effectively. I thought the first time it was a fluke, but for you to pull it off twice... Did you really not learn of this beforehand?”
“I haven't deepened my knowledge of that form in years. Only practicing it enough to retain my current level.” you reply. “Are you telling me that that what I just did is an actual technique?”

“Of course. Reversing your momentum mid-strike isn't easy. I'm impressed that you were able to-” he says, then stops talking mid-sentence. He's silent a moment, then immediately powers up into his Golden Form. “Everyone, it's time! The battle's started, let's go!”
“Right.” you reply, walking over and placing your hand on his shoulder. “Let's do this.”

Everyone rushes over, Meloka immediately looking to some of your younger children then back to you, a worried look on her face. No doubt not wanting the younger children to come along into such a dangerous battle.

But what do you do? Who do you ask to stay behind, to not join you all in this battle?

With the most popular answers being Tatsu and Tomi, Milha and Karn Jr, and Koruza and Okira, they'll be the ones staying behind. At least for now, writing.
>>
>>5928813
“Hold on, before we go. Tatsu, Tomi. I need you two to hang back for this one.” you say, turning your attention from Freeza to them. “Milha, Koruza, Okira, and Karn Jr, I need the four of you to wait behind as well. You're not ready for this level yet.”
“What?” Tatsu says, sounding shocked.
“Why?” Tomi asks, then sharing a glance with her twin as the two are still so out-of-sync.

“Very well. I shall remain here, awaiting your return.” Milha says, giving you a small nod and stepping back, grabbingonto Koruza and dragging him back too. “Come on.”
“Aww, okay.” Koruza says, allowing his older sister to drag him back away.
“You want me to stay back on standby, in case you need a retreat?” Okira asks, you giving her a small nod. “Very well, I'll remain at the ready.”
“Be safe everyone.” Karn Jr says, having not made a move towards you all and instead waving his arm overhead. “Go kick his ass!”

“You two aren't ready.” you say, turning back to Tatsu and Tomi. “You both still aren't in good shape after what happened. If things get dangerous, you can't reliably fuse either, can you?”

At this they both look down, not meeting your gaze. So, instead of saying anything you reach out to the both of them telepathically.

“You've both been hurt deeply, and need time to recover from what happened to you.” you think to them both, the twins looking back up to you. “Don't worry about this fight, focus on yourselves. All of you.”
“Understood.” they both reply, once again simultaneously before you end the mental link. Everyone you'd asked to stand back is now clear, your wife speaking up.
“We're ready.” she says, then without another word everything changes. The once-peaceful surroundings of New Salda change into a city. One that's currently on fire, hundreds of screams echoing out. You look around, seeing Golden Cooler laying on his back before you all at the end of a ditch leading through the city's main gate. Where a familiar figure hovers imposingly, the flames of the city burning behind him as he floats out of the city.

“Cooler? What happened, we were supposed to attack together.” Freeza says, taking a couple steps forward to get between his downed brother and the so-called god.
“Hmph. I had to see how I stacked up.” Cooler replies, dusting himself off as he rises back up to his feet. “You would do the same, after spending your time training. Even the monkey would have done the same.”
“Nice to see you too, Cooler.” you say, stepping up beside the brothers, not yet transforming yourself.

“Hmph. So many of you gather, but it is all for naught.” the god says, flying over towards you all at a walking pace, arms behind his back in a pose reminiscent of how Beerus the Destroyer would stand idly. “No matter how many of you insects gather, you will not stop me. This world will fall to Darkseid.”
“See, that would be a problem. The Muuns here, their Galactic Banking Clan have invested quite the time and treasure into our family's dynasty.” Freeza says, stepping forward. Both this world Muunilinst and their homeworld of Scipio house quite a lot of our treasure. So, this world will not fall to you, you self-proclaimed god.”
“Insolence.” Darkseid says, eyes blazing with fiery energy. He then fires his twin eye beams, Freeza retaliating with his own energy. The two beams clash, exploding above the empty ground between them as both attacks detonate. “Hrmm.”

“You will find that I am not so weak as I was the last time we came to blows.” Freeza replies, and even with his back turned you can feel his smirk. “And I'm not the only one who has gotten stronger. Every single warrior behind me is stronger than they were back then, some have even slain gods since our parting.”
“Idle boasts mean little. Whichever of you wish to live, kneel and beg for mercy.” Darkseid says, completely unphased by Freeza's boasting. “Whoever wishes to die, remain standing.”
“Well, who wants to take a crack at him first?” Freeza asks, turning his back on the god with no visible concern or worry.

“As much as I want to take him down myself, I'm curious about something.” you say, turning to look over your shoulder at Future Chaya and Ace. Both of who haven't taken their eyes off Darkseid, your alternate timeline daughter actually not looking as confident as usual as she stares down the monster. “Chaya, Ace! You two are up!”
“B-Both of us?” Future Chaya asks you. “Really? No one else will get a turn.”
“Of course, I want to see how the two of you fight together.” you reply, relaxing your own power as you turn back to Darkseid, crossing your arms. “I'm curious how well you work together.”

“Very well.” Ace says first, walking forward to the front of the group, stepping past the golden forms of Cooler and Freeza. “I accept.”
“Foolish.” Darkseid replies, again firing his twin beams. You watch as they change directions erratically, yet moving ever closer towards the former Time Patroller. Who plants his feet, clenching his fists and roaring as they close in. His aura blazes, shifting from normal to the pale blue of his divine power. Darkseid's energy beams strike Ace's blazing ki and explode against it, obscuring his aura from sight. But then the dust is blown away as Ace's transformation finishes, his aura blowing the dust Darkseid's attack kicked up away. Revealing his transformed state beyond God: Super Saiyan Blue. “Oh?”
“Come on Chaya, let's show him what we've really got.” he says, clenching his fists. Then, as he throws his head back, roaring to the sky, his aura begins to change again. Muscles bulking up a bit, you see his hair and aura darken, taking on the form even further beyond Super Saiyan Blue.

“Alright, I'm in.” she replies, walking up beside him. She transforms far more casually, her torso armor surviving as she goes from her base form up to Primal, dark hair changing to crimson as her aura shifts as well, stars twinkling in her golden aura. Standing beside Ace in her transformed state, you notice that after taking on the Primal state she's actually slightly taller than him now. “Well, looks like Dad's not even going to get a turn today.”
“Curious. Neither of you belong.” Darkseid says, you feeling your eyes widening in shock. How the hell does he know that? “But if you wish to die for a realm not your own, I, Darkseid, shall oblige you.”
“Blaa blaa blaa, quit yapping and put 'em up.” Future Chaya says, taking her fighting stance with a stomp. The force of her stomp shatters the ground beneath her, causing the entire planet to tremble with after shocks. Her starry golden aura blazes wildly up around her, Ace taking his fighting stance as well. His deep blue aura blazes up as well, the two Saiyans facing down the so-called god. “Ready Ace?”

Focusing, you power up into your Berserker form, hoping the higher level will allow you to keep up with what's about to happen.

“HIYAAAAAA!!” Future Chaya shouts, kicking off the ground.
“HRRAAAAA!!” Ace roars, launching himself forward at the same time. Both of them blitz Darkseid, Chaya's right and Ace's left fists slamming into the monster's upraised forearms. With their combined power he doesn't stand a chance, the heavy blows sending him sliding backwards across the ground. Ace, raising his right hand to his forehead teleports behind Darkseid, dropping a hand down and kicking the self-proclaimed got skyward. Directly into a flying kick from Chaya, only for the titanic monster to dodge. He blurs to his left, just far enough to dodge her heel. Only for Chaya to then swing with her other boot, it slamming into the side of his head and sending him flying sideways. Getting knocked even further from the city.

“Well now, look at them go.” Freeza says, watching as the two converge on the god. You watch as they blur around him, attacking Darkseid from two separate sides so quickly they appear little more than blurs. He doesn't seem able to counter their combined assault, but as you watch can't help but notice one glaring fact. Neither of them are fighting together. Both Ace and Chaya knock Darkseid out of range of each other's attacks more than once, giving him momentary openings where he swings at one or the other of them. However, he can't keep up with their speed, the moment he attacks one the other jumps in to deliver a powerful counter hit. “I must say, their power is quite impressive.”

“Heh, if you think that's good, just wait.” Maza says, Freeza glancing over his shoulder. “Neither of them are going all-out yet.”
“What?!” Cooler exclaims, turning fully to face Maza as the two continue pummeling Darkseid in the air. “What do you mean?”
“Well, Ace isn't even using his Kaio-Ken, much less Ultra Instinct.” he says, you seeing Cooler's eyes widen in shock as Maza mentions not one but two powers Ace hasn't used yet. “And Chaya's not using Kaio-Ken either, but it seems that level of power isn't necessary to take someone like him down. At least, not fighting together.”

And as if to emphasize his point, they unleash a combined strike, sending Darkseid crashing down to the ground not far from where the fight started near you all. The shock wave slams into you all, it even knocking you back a step from the force of the impact. Ace and Chaya then land in front of you, backs to you all as they stare down the dust-filled crater they'd sent Darkseid into. Only for Future Chaya to look over her shoulder at you, giving you a big grin.

“So, how was that?” she asks you. Only for Darkseid to, in that moment of distraction, blitz them both.. Ace, having been looking at Chaya is caught by surprise, the god's left uppercut sending him hurtling into the sky.

“Wh-?!” is all she can say before Darkseid follows his left with a right straight, blasting her back and sending her tumbling across the ground for hundreds of feet. Immediately you ascend, unleashing the full might of the Berserker God power.
“Impudent worms!” he snarls, turning his face towards you all, eyes blazing as he readies himself to unleash his eye beams. However, before he can you sense Towa's energy disappear completely, an instant later she's lunging forward! Thrusting the ancient weapon Godsend, the god-slaying spear at Darkseid. You watch as his eyes widen, the monster around the same size as your Berserker God form leaping aside and giving the weapon a wide berth. “What? How-? You-? What is the meaning of this?!”

“I am Towa. Demon God and former Princess of the Demon Realm, concubine of the Dragon of New Salda Karn, and wielder of the mythic god-slaying weapon Godsend.” she declares, resting the butt of the weapon on the ground as she stares him down. “And you will not take him, or any of our family this day, New God.”
“Hmph. A Demon God, you say?” he asks, clearly reappraising Towa in her transformed state as she stands defiantly before him. “No, you are not. Not the true Demon God, anyways.”

Which surprises you, how in the world does he know about Mechikabura? But, perhaps even more importantly:

“Meloka, we're up.” you say, stepping forward to stand beside Towa. Then, clenching your fists you tap fully in to your Berserker Soul, ascending into the full strength of your Berserker God form. Immediately you tower over everyone other than Darkseid, taking another step forward. You feel your wife's energy shift to divine as she steps forward too, her divine aura blazing as she stands beside you. “Towa, back us up. We're going in.”
“Understood.” she replies, flourishing her spear as you and Meloka kick off towards the 'new god' as Towa called him. He immediately tries to use his eye beams again, you attempting to activate your Energy Body. However, unlike every previous time he's used them, this time his beams fly straight and fast. Both slamming square into your chest before your shield can activate. And instead of exploding, you feel both beams pierce straight into you. Stopping you right in your tracks.

“Kuh-!” you cough, spitting up blood as his beams halt your advance. But, with his attack focused on you he can't also stop Meloka, your wife drawing both her blades as she closes in.
“Don't stop! Leave your wounds to me, I won't let you die!” Towa thinks to you as Meloka closes the distance, spinning and slashing Darkseid's left leg dozens of times as she passes. Blood sprays as, no longer able to support his weight, he drops down onto that knee. The surprise and shock dropping to his knee causes him to end his attack. As the beams stop drilling into your chest you kick back off the ground, dashing back towards him. Darkseid attempts to fire his beams once more, no doubt planning to angle them around and hit behind him at your wife. Only for your giant fist to, a moment before he can fire, slam into his face as you roar. “HAAAAAAAAA!!”

“Guh-!?” he exhales as your punch sends him backwards, your wife kicking him in the spine with both feet. Sending him flying back up into the air, you and her both share a look. Then you both kick off the ground, dashing up after the new god. You watch as Darkseid reorients himself, flipping around to stare at you both as you both charge in. He sees you first once again, raising his forearm to block your heavy right, only for Meloka to flip around from behind you, kicking him in the left temple while his guard's occupied. You immediately take advantage of the opening she creates for you, twisting and firing off a left uppercut into his guts. Meloka, using the momentum from her attack flips around Darkseid, driving her knee into his face and knocking him back.

The instant he's knocked out of your fist's range, Towa fires some sort of attack of her own, a half dozen dark orbs slamming into him. You watch on as, to your surprise, the orbs don't just explode but leave some of that dark purple sort of energy they were made of at the points of impact. The energy quickly spreading across the new god's body, Towa reaching out to you both telepathically.

“That should slow him down a bit.” she thinks to you both. “That energy will restrict his movements slightly.”
“Appreciate it.” you reply while closing back in, feinting with a right then firing a heavy left, your fist crashing into his nose. Your heavy blow snaps his head back, Meloka twisting out around your left side and driving her left knee into his right temple. As his head is knocked to the left, your right hook meets his jaw with tremendous force. The heavy blow snaps his head back to the right as Meloka flips around behind him, drawing her Ki Blades while simultaneously firing an X Slash from them, slicing energy hitting the new god in the back of the neck.

“Gruh!” Darkseid grunts as her attack draws blood, immediately trying to spin around counterclockwise and swing his right at her. But you swing your own right, catching his attack with your forearm in his elbow, stopping his swing short. “What?!”
“HAAAAAA!!” your wife roars, thrusting both her Energy Blades forward. Burying them both in his face, scoring direct hits in both his eyes as they start glowing with fiery energy. Causing the energy Darkseid had been gathering to explode before he can fire it, the blast tearing his face to shreds as he cries out in pain.
“GUYAAAAAA!!” he roars, you immediately following up her attack with a full power left uppercut into his side right below his arm. Throwing everything you've got into that blow you feel something crack, blood spraying from his eyes as he recoils from your heavy blow. Then, twisting you fire off a heavy right haymaker, fist slamming into his shredded, bloody face. As your blow hits, Meloka had spun back, swinging her left as you swing your right, both fists crashing into his face simultaneously. Sending him flying directly towards Towa, who looks from him to you with a smirk.

“Give it everything you've got.” she again thinks to you, firing an orb of some dark red energy directly at you. Before you can really do anything it hits you, then somehow Darkseid is flying towards you, Towa floating beside your wife. And as you realize what happened you smirk, drawing your right back as you prepare to put everything you've got into this next punch. You're going to make this next one hurt!

And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoying this battle so far? Ready to see how it plays out, what happens next and if there will even be a planet left by the time it's over? Do you think you've got him, or will Darkseid have another trick up his sleeve? Ready to really Boogie tomorrow, or do you think Towa's Position Shift is too limited to be used that way? All this and more in 11 1/2 hours, when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues!

If Karn died to eyebeams, Trunks would laugh at him so hard.

But really, the REAL fight is yet to come; Freeza vs Granny Goodness. Who has the most menacing grandma-voice?
>>
>>5929175
He'd feel a small, slight bit of sympathy. But would also quadruple his efforts to learn the technique.
HA! While you know she exists, he wouldn't bring her on a mission like this, right? Unless he needed her specifically to achieve a goal of some kind.
>>
>>5929189
You can't really learn the Omega beams though. They're just Darkseid doing wacky nu-god shit with his eyes. They do whatever the plot demands at the time.
>>
>>5929189
Wait....HE STILL NEVER LEARNED THE MOVE WE EXECUTE HIM WITH REGULARLY?! Has he wasted his time fucking his sexbot in the gym or something?
>>
>>5929327
It's not that, Trunks tends to get a case of dry eye very quickly. He always lost staring contests.
>>
>>5929209
I meant he hasn’t learned the eye beams, omega beams are reliant on the omega effect.
>>5929327
No, he learned counters for them. Ways to intercept the beams, but not the beams themselves.

Your fist flies true as Darkseid's exposed back flies towards you. Pouring everything you've got into your right fist, you feel your energy begin gathering and spiraling, quickly forming your Piercing Fist Mk II as his body flies closer. Then, with a roar you explode forward, ki blazing as you unleash one of your original strongest attacks with a roar.

“GRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, streaking through the air like a beam, driving your right fist into the base of Darkseid's skull. Your piercing energy slams into his body, it feeling tougher than anything you're ripped apart before. But even this so-called 'new god's hide isn't indestructible, your spiraling ki piercing into him.

“KUUUAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!” he screams in agony as your spiral, shredding energy pierces deeper and deeper into his neck. However, as your attack pierces deeper and deeper, suddenly your instincts scream out at you in warning. Immediately you end the attack, kicking off Darkseid's back and flying back. Narrowly avoiding his eye beams, fired up and over his head, aimed to give you an instant lobotomy. But as you fly back, suddenly he's gone, replaced by Towa. When you hear him screaming out in pain again. Looking past Towa, you see your wife, now behind Darkseid has driven her blades into his lower back, both ends piercing out just above his belt. Towa starts flying forward, throwing another orb of that deep red energy back at you. Understand her plan you again draw your arms overhead, creating your Super Ki Blade and taking your Djem So ready stance. Towa closes in to range just as her energy strikes you, once more swapping your and her places.

“DIE!!” you snarl, swinging your blade down at his left collarbone. Your blade strikes true, biting deep into the so-called god's flesh as Meloka kicks off his back, getting clear. You feel your blade slicing through flesh and bone as you cut him damn near in two, slicing him from left collarbone down and out just over his right hip. But you're not done, switching to the Su Ma style from Djem So you spin, raising the blade to a horizontal slash aimed at his neck. But your attack wasn't fast enough, Darkseid raising his energy-clad left forearm and fist, blocking your killing blow. “Tch!”

“HRRAAAAA!!” Darkseid roars, swinging his energy-clad right into his left, causing both energies to suddenly explode with tremendous force. Everything is consumed by the blast, it reminding you of your Red Dawn as the blast forces you back. Unable to resist, you're blown back from Darkseid, feeling Meloka knocked back similarly. After a few seconds the attack, as well as the blinding light disappears, leaving you facing the 'new god' through the haze of the smoke his attack kicked up. “These games are beginning to bore me.”

Then, to your horror, all of his injuries simply begin regenerating! All the damage he took disappears in just under a second, all the work you all did amounting to nothing.

“Wh-What?!” you exclaim, shocked that he can just do that. And hadn't the entire time up until now. Was he just TOYING with you all up to this point? “Tch!”
“Do you understand now, the futility of your struggle?” Darkseid asks you menacingly. “I am inevitable. I am absolute. I. Am. Darkseid.”

What now? What do you do? What CAN you do?
>Activate your Energy Body and taunt Darkseid that he was so afraid of you he had to fix his avatar, goad him into attacking and focusing on you so Towa can get a sneak attack with Godsend. Deity or not, it'll kill them as long as it hits

>Keep up the pressure with Meloka, he wouldn't be making such a big show of how little your attacks seemingly hurt if they weren't working

“And I'm sick of hearing you talk. I'm ending this. Now.” you say as you start walking right towards him. “Get the hell out of my universe, before I make you.”
“Insolent.” Darkseid replies, eyes beginning to glow with his fiery energy once more. You watch as he fires his beams at you, but this time you were ready. Activating your Energy Body instantly, his beams then slam into it and explode against your armor. The instant he is obscured you kick off the ground, dashing in towards him.

Blurring forward you close the distance near-instantly, right arm drawn back ready to swing. Seeing you about to attack he raises his left forearm to block, you unable to suppress a smirk. After all, you're not going for an attack. Instead you swing short, using the momentum to spin around Darkseid's body. And, as you do, you twist your body, grabbing onto his left arm with your legs. Locking them together around his forearm while your left arm goes under his chin, right up under his right arm. Slipping your left arm in-between your right and Darkseid's right, you lock your arm in. Choking the titan, cutting off his air while binding his arms.

“Meloka! His eyes!” you call, your wife immediately teleporting directly in front of his face. Once again Darkseid's eyes begin to glow, only for your wife to drive a pair of her energy blades directly into them.
“GAAAAAAAAAH!!” Darkseid shouts in pain, struggling to break free of your grip as she drives them deep into his skull. They don't explode, your wife making them out of tougher stuff. But with your Su Ma Grappling hold locked in, keeping his arms locked and unable to move while choking him out, he's unable to escape. “GRRR! You insolent worm! I'll kill you!”
“TOWA! NOW!!” you roar, Towa immediately understanding. You sense her dash in, feeling Darkseid crouch, readying to kick off the ground. But, before he can Meloka attacks, you seeing her from the corner of your eye dash in with a spin, slashing the backs of his knees. You feel his body start dropping, Towa dashing in and thrusting for his lower abdomen with her spear. From his back, looking back down towards where Meloka'd flown by, you suddenly see a half-foot of blade suddenly sprout out his back in a spray of blood.

“Gurh-?!” Darkseid exclaims, no doubt feeling the effect immediately.
“This realm isn't yours to conquer.” Towa says to him, voice low and threatening as you see the blade twist in his chest before she jerks it free. And then, from the site of the injury, Darkseid's body begins disintegrating. You watch as his body begins turning into motes of light, each one blinking out of existence after only a moment.

“The city is still under siege! Stop standing around and MOVE!” Cooler orders with a roar, blazing towards the city.

“He's right, we've still got a battle to finish up.” you say, turning back towards your family. Were you see your alternate timeline Chaya and Ace have regrouped, still in their transformed states. “If anyone doesn't want to join in, you're free to go back home.”
“I think that I speak for everyone when I say that we will all stay and help these people.” Koriand'r says, stepping forward.
“Well said.” Broly says, stepping up beside her. “I agree. Let's stop wasting time and go.”

“Enough talk.” Maza says, kicking off the ground and dashing off towards the city, flashing up into his Primal Demon form as he flies.
“He's certainly your son.” Towa says to you with a small giggle, lifting herself into the air as well. You all take off, flying out across the ground towards the city. As you fly towards the burning city, Future Chaya flies up beside you. Her expression looks....Troubled.

“Everything okay kiddo?” you ask her, looking over to her as she looks down. “Chaya?”
“Why?” she asks, looking from the ground over to you. Her eyes are welling up, she's on the verge of tears. “I'm so much stronger than you. Ace is so much stronger than Momma, but he beat us so easily. How? How did you do it?”
“You both are strong, and really well trained fighters. But you weren't fighting together.” you tell her seriously. “Your mother and I have been fighting side-by-side for decades, we know how to fight in sync. We don't even have to talk most of the time to coordinate our attacks. While, from what I saw, you and Ace kept hitting Darkseid out of each other's attacks.”

“I was missing quite a few...” Future Chaya says, turning from you and looking down again, thinking over what you've told her. “Is that really the difference?”
“That's one difference.” you say, Future Chaya again turning to you. “But I did see something else: you weren't fighting to win.”
“Huh?! What do you mean?!” she shouts, you seeing several others turning to look towards her. “Do you think I really just LET him win?”

“You weren't fighting to win. You were fighting to show off how strong you were.” you reply, your daughter's eyes widening. “I guess no matter what timeline you're from, you are still Chaya.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” she asks, starting to sound angry at you as her aura flares a bit. “Are you comparing me to that other Chaya who fights just for cheers from a bunch of weaklings?”
“Yes. Because if I, with my level of power can draw blood, then there is ABSOLUTELY no reason you couldn't do the same.” you reply. “So, why didn't you?”

“I...” she starts, voice trailing off as she actually starts thinking about what you said. Averting her gaze she looks back down at the city below as you all start flying over it, Broly and Kori dropping down to fight off a large group of the monsters chasing down several of the aliens who call this planet home.
“Think it over kiddo. Knowing the 'why' of why we act is the first step to improving.” you tell her, then dash down, flying at a group of over a dozen of Darkseid's minions chasing down a small child. Ending your Energy Body you gather your ki, draw your right back, then unleash a single shot of energy down. “HAAA!”

The tiny orb, at least tiny in your massive transformed hand streaks through the sky, striking one of the monsters in the middle of the group and detonating. Exploding in a fiery blast that consumes the entire group, the blast stopping just short of the tiny being. As your explosion ends you land between the child and the smoke, turning to it. Only to see the tiny face twisted in fear, taking a scared step back from you.

“It's okay. I'm here to help.” you say, dropping down to a knee to get somewhat closer to eye level. “We're here to stop them.”
“G-General...Karn?” the child asks, eyes widening as the kid recognizes you. “You..! You really came to save us?”

cont
>>
>>5929675
“Of course. Now, let's get you out of here.” you say holding a hand out to the kid. Who rushes over, climbing into your palm and sitting down, holding your thumb in its lap like a safety bar. As you then rise back to your feet, you hear another cry of terror. Raising your right to your forehead, you teleport to that ki signature, appearing between an adult and two more tiny Muun people and six of the creatures. You turn, dropping to your left knee and lowering your left to the ground, the kid running over shouting something in a language you don't understand but you know means 'parent' as you rise back up, turning to the monsters. “Stay behind me.”

“Grrraraaa!! one of the monsters snarl, lunging at you with claws out. You thrust your right hand forward, grabbing the creature by its head, crushing it in your grip. Blood sprays from between your fingers, you then whipping the body overhead in a circle before dashing forward, slamming it into the others. Knocking the whole group of them back out of the building into the street. Then, before they can get up you drop your Energy Body, focusing your ki into a fingertip.
“Death Slash.” you mutter, firing the slicing ki blade through the hole their bodies had made. Your ki cuts through the pile of creatures and into the road below them, all their ki signatures disappearing after a moment. Confirming their deaths you then turn back to the group, addressing them over your shoulder. “Don't worry, I'm here now. It's all going to be okay.”

Chaya: "Don't compare me to me! Me sucks!"

That art does look great. Keen to eventually see the rest, if that's just a cropped portion of it.

Ready to bitch slap the Universe 6 tournament, which, being having the Marvel characters, I'm sure includes Thor and Hulk. Going to show Hulk who's the real big, angry, green monster. Then smack Thor around with his own hammer, because we're worthy.
>>
>>5929716
Yeah, that one’s gonna stick with her awhile. For all her criticisms of your Chaya, this has been a revelation.
It’s with a potentially no longer relevant character, but patreon’s $1/month for all the art and to vote on upcoming pieces.
That tournament will, potentially, follow the same team as the original. We’ll have to wait and see.
>>
lol Hit is going to walk in thinking he's hot shit, only to get obliterated by us, with our experience fighting Chronoa, a far more proficient time-manipulator than him.
>>
>>5929716
QM already said that the marvel Earth of Universe 6 is already destroyed so no Hulk and thor is a maybe
>>
>>5929738
Not quite. Think of Chronoa more like Dio, freezing you within time. Whereas Hit is more like Diavolo, moving himself forward through time without the intermittent actions occurring. Your powers don’t negate or “stop” his Time Skip.

The Dragonball Earth specifically.
>>5929753
Ha, but no. He can not only find, but basically SEE your weak points. Hit is a threat specifically because he doesn’t fight conventionally.
>>
>>5929745
Chrona crashes the internet connection to freeze you, Hit just uses a VPN lag switch to jump past you while you move.
>>
>>5929761
Hit fights like Karn does, he goes for killshots unless ordered otherwise. But all hands, his ki tricks are his gimmick besides time skip. But that doesn't mean much since Karn does that on instinct.
>>
>>5929771
Not an entirely wrong assessment.
>>5929783
He has some other moves you’ve not seen yet, when a kill is necessary. And, depending on the rules of the tournament, he might be able to fully unleash his might.
>>
>>5929783
Karn will break you down like a chicken and make sure you're dead as fuck when the opportunity arises.
Hit skips that first part and may as well be using an anti-materiel rifle for how he fights.

Took me until today to finally start writing on the patron epilogue for this month, put my ass on fraud watch. In the meantime, for this arc’s conclusion whose pov do you think would be most entertaining for the final epilogue? We can stay with the wrapping up of the battle with one of a few different povs including Freeza or Cooler, go back to Conton City and pick up where we left off with Mechikabura and Aeos, return to Chilli’s or Chaya’s worlds and see what they’ve been doing for the day after their deaths, or perhaps even get a different perspective entirely. How a being from a different plane observes and reacts to events unfolding in the mortal realm.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 212 Epilogue -

AGE 757, PLANET OF THE KAIS

“Mhrrrrmmm...” you hear the elderly Kai mutter as he sits under the tree, staring into his crystal ball with his arms crossed. Knowing that he wants to talk to someone, but doesn't want to ask, you stop working on the special technique you have been preparing should you need an ace in the hole against the Saiyan Karn, walking over to him. You come to a stop a foot away, kneeling before the ancient being.
“Is everything alright, honored elder?” you ask, Elder Kai looking up from the ball to you. Acting as if he hadn't been watching you through his nearly closed eyes the entire time you'd been walking over. “You seem troubled. Would it perhaps be something going wrong in the mortal realm?”

“You could call it that. Take a look.” he says, gesturing to his seeing orb. You look up, peering into the ball only to see a familiar face. That of the Berserker God, the very man you've been training to subdue should the need arise. Except he's on a planet you don't recognize, fighting a being the same size as him. You watch the fight as Karn battles the unfamiliar god, his wife in her tiny divine form flipping in and out around him, attacking the being from unexpected angles.
“Who is that they are fighting?” you ask, brows furrowing. “I am unfamiliar with that deity. Is he perhaps one of the New Gods?”
“You have been keeping up with your studying, as well as your training. That thing is one of the beings of the Fourth World, yes. Specifically Apokolips, not New Genesis.” Elder Kai says, looking from the orb to you. His expression serious as you understand that important detail. “His name is Darkseid, the son of Yuga Khan and Dread Lord of Apokolips. Or, if you prefer his more common title; the God of Evil.”

“What is a New God doing in the mortal realm?” you ask him, genuinely curious. “Do you believe that he intends on taking Karn down himself?”
“No, not likely. For the past year or two, he has been invading and trying to conquer worlds in the mortal realm for their resources.” Elder Kai says, switching the view in the orb to another planet. One that, even from space is seemingly covered in volcanoes and death. “This is Apokolips, a world exploited to near-death under its dark ruler. The planet now needs outside resources to continue its industry. Most specifically, people.”
“Hmm?” you hum as the view again shifts back to the invading force. Where you see unnatural creatures grabbing the natives, the Muun people, and dragging them into their portals. “Why are they taking the people through the portals? Does this Darkseid need them as slaves, perhaps?”

“No, it is far worse than that. He is taking them to be transformed.” Elder Kai tells you with a hint of sorrow in his voice. “I am sure that you feel it too, don't you? How...Unnatural those soldiers of his are.”
“Yes, I have sensed that there is something wrong with them.” you reply. “I had thought it was just that they were some poor mortals, but with what you've said, I take it that there is more to this?”
“Indeed. When invading a new world, Darkseid's minions will capture as many of the planet's living inhabitants as they can.” Elder Kai says, tone somber. “Taking them to the dark recesses of his world, crushing the people conquered and transforming them into his soldiers. Breaking their minds and wills, reducing them to little more than mindless soldiers.”

“I see.” you say, carefully keeping your tone perfectly neutral. But inside you have some level of appreciation for his efforts, turning the conquered into soldiers to further increase his army. And having an army incapable of rebellion is always good as well. You are the perfect being, Kars. One who has been curying favor with the current Supreme Kai's elder, a being tens of millions of years older than him. After he unlocked the full potential of your perfect body with his rather odd magical ritual, you had been raised to a whole new plateau of power. Strength far beyond even that of a Super Saiyan you'd taken from the Saiyan race years ago, but not quite as powerful as the full power that comes from combining that form with the divine energy of a god. “Hold on. Honored elder, is this Darkseid permitted to do this? Is he allowed to simply invade the mortal realm at will?”

“Oh yes, it is allowed. Or, rather, his ability to exert influence is directly proportional to the evil present in the universe.” Elder Kai says, changing the view back to the battle. Where he notices something that draws his eye immediately. At first you simply think the old man is being lecherous, staring at the blue-skinned woman wielding godly power, that of the Demon race. But after a moment he speaks up, a note of worry in his tone. “Hold on. What is she doing here?”
“Do you recognize this woman?” you ask him, the elderly Kai turning to you.
“Of course I recognize her. Don't you?” he replies, this catching you by surprise. Turning your gaze back on the woman, you watch as she has joined in the fight against Darkseid. Wielding a spear you don't recognize, but one even from here whose power you can feel, suddenly you get it. You realize what Elder Kai is seeing.

“She's not of this timeline? But then where is the Supreme Kai of Time? Isn't this her jurisdiction?” you ask him, looking back up to his face. Seeing genuine worry in the elder's eyes. “You don't think something bad has happened to her, do you?”

“I have been feeling uneasy for the past day or so. And now I think know why.” he replies, changing the view to show three more beings, two men and a woman. One of the men, the one with blue hair radiating divine and Saiyan power, it feeling almost identical to your Super Saiyan Rose might. All of who also don't belong to this reality. “They have been here for almost a whole day now, yet the Supreme Kai of Time has remained inactive. Something must be wrong.”
“Do you think they're somehow hiding their presence from her?” you ask the obvious question, knowing that it's wrong. But not wanting to say what you know he doesn't want to hear.
“If we both can feel their presence, then the Time Scroll itself will have reacted.” Elder Kai responds. “Which means that either that pipsqueak is slacking off, not taking her job seriously. Or that there is something wrong going on at the Time Nest.”

“Should we go and investigate?” you ask him seriously, the old man clearly pondering it a moment. You can tell that he doesn't want to get up, but that the not knowing will bother him the longer he remains still. So, after a few seconds of silence lets out a “BAAAH!”, pushing himself upright.
“Just sitting here won't get me any answers. Let's go.” he tells you, turning and walking towards Shin's energy.
“Of course.” you reply, rising up to your feet and following behind the elder. Suppressing the smirk you want to release, knowing that you're going to be the one going on this expedition, protecting the old man and furthering your rapport while leaving Shin to sit around like the waste of biomass he is. You follow behind the Elder Kai as he walks over to where Shin is doing some image training with Kibito, only for the elder to cough into his hand loudly. Then, when they don't react he does it again, louder, causing both men to jump a bit in shock.

“Honored Elder. You startled me.” Shin says, turning to face his senior without rising. “Is something the matter?”
“In a manner of speaking. I will be departing to the Time Nest for a bit.” Elder Kai grumbles, clearly annoyed at being ignored earlier. “There are troubling goings on in the universe.”
“The Saiyan?” Kibito asks, Elder Kai not responding with words but only a simple nod. You see Shin's already pale complexion lighten a bit more, no doubt worried about what ELSE Karn could be up to. But the elder says nothing else, turning from them and walking a short distance away. You give Shin a bow, turning and following the elder as he closes his eyes.

“Hmm hmmm hrmm...” he mutters, you gently placing your hand on his shoulder. Then, you feel his magical power surge, everything around you both changing. Leaving the peaceful world of the Kais beyond, you weren't sure what you expected to see. But a warzone certainly wasn't it.

“What is all this?” Elder Kai asks, looking at the group of people gathered before you. “What happened here?”
“Elder Kai? What are you doing here?” a Saiyan wearing an orange gi asks, his tone far too familiar and casual with the elderly deity. Something Elder Kai notices immediately,.

“You know who I am?” Elder Kai responds, you watching as ANOTHER Saiyan, this one wearing red and black but with identical ki steps forward, whispering something to the other himself.
“Ohhh, right.” he addresses his double, turning back to the Elder Kai and giving a surprisingly proper bow. “Please forgive. My rudeness, good sir. My name is Son Goku, a Saiyan from Earth. It is a pleasure to meet with you.”
“Greetings, Elder Kai. To what do we owe this visit?” the other, red and black-wearing Saiyan asks. Giving a not as deep but still deep enough to be considered respectful bow. “I take it there is something going on in your timeline?”

“Well, yes. To put it frankly, the Saiyan Karn has brought a demon, several half demons and three other beings from another timeline into mine.” Elder Kai says, you watching their reactions. The one wearing red and black's eyes narrow, while the orange wearing one suddenly looks excited. Seems they're both familiar with Karn, at least. “And I was wondering what the holdup was with getting them removed. Speaking of, where IS the Supreme Kai of Time? The state of this place is simply atrocious.”

But then, suddenly you feel it. A tremendous, monstrous power; divine energy unlike anything you've ever encountered suddenly appears a short distance off to your left. You immediately power up into your Rose form, getting between the elder and that power.

“Stay behind me, honored one.” you say worriedly, Divine Saiyan aura blazing around you as you feel that power rising. Then, suddenly it appears over one of the few buildings left standing, you seeing a humanoid form. Accompanied by two others, one radiating similar but much lesser power, and the other is a Kai of some sort. You watch as they all fly back towards you all, you see that this demon has power beyond your comprehension. This power, unmistakably demonic even with so much divine power, is unlike any power you've ever felt. And you want it. But as he comes to a stop over you all his eyes lock onto your own near-instantly. And, in that moment, you have never felt smaller. Like an ant looking up at a descending boot, you know unequivocally that if he wanted you dead, you would be dead. Nothing you possess can even slow a monster like this down, much less kill it. You are helpless before this higher being.

However, while you can't fight a being like this, you can't help but on some level to feel something else too. Greed. You want this power for your own, you wish to possess this same might. And as he stares you in the eyes, suddenly you have the feeling he knows a lot more of you than you'd like to know.

“Greetings, Kai. Forgive me for the state of this place. Ownership of Conton City, the Time Nest, and possession of the Time Scrolls have only just today come into my hands.”
“Come into? What did you do with Chronoa?” Elder Kai demands, showing no fear in the face of the sheer power difference. It would be comical, if keeping him alive weren't key to your plans. Or, at least key to your previous plans... But as he keeps shouting, you're drawn out of your own thoughts back to the situation at hand. “Who are you? What happened here? And why isn't the Supreme Kai of Time and her Time Patrol doing their jobs? My timeline's being disrupted as we speak!”
“Ah, I see. You are from the same timeline. Forgive me, I haven't introduced myself yet. I am Mechikabura. Conqueror of Time and the Dark King.” he says, you tucking that name away for later as you study his power. Also, feeling Elder Kai's sudden fear and panic are delicious to your senses. “It would seem you've heard of me. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

“Th-The pleasure's all mine.” the elderly Kai responds, trembling in fear at this absolute monster as he bows. But as he raises his head, he suddenly sees the smaller woman floating beside him. “H-Hang on. Lady Aeos? What are you doing here? And why are you with a being like HIM? I thought you were retired from the job, enjoying your retirement?”
“Retirement? Is that what she told everyone?” the woman Kai, presumably Aeos responds with a scoff. “Ha! Retirement, he says! No. That bitch, that... Creature. It appeared one day, wearing Chronoa's face. It killed her, then imprisoned myself and Mechikabura here beneath this mountain. Where I've been trapped ever since.”
“I am so terribly sorry to hear that.” Elder Kai says, bowing deeply to her. “If there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know Lady Aeos. I apologize for not knowing, for not coming to your aid.”

“Dont' worry about it, you would have already been trapped in that sword for a few years by then.” she replies with a warm look, one that's trying to put a brave face over unimaginable hurt and pain. “So, let's call it even, okay?”
“Gracious. Very well, I'll accept.” he replies, wiping the corner of his eye before turning his focus back to Mechikabura. “Mechikabura. I take it that you will allow Aeos to reclaim her position as Supreme Kai of Time then?”

“I had considered it. However...” the Demon God says, descending and landing only a few feet from you. “You aren't quite a Kai. Tell me, young one: what is your name?”
“Kars.” you reply, meeting his gaze. But as you stare into his eyes, suddenly you feel yourself pulled into them. And find yourself in a bizarre landscape. At first you see Mechikabura as a young man competing against the Time Kai for the woman who'd been beside him as he'd landed near you and the old Kai's approval, but she chooses the other Kai over him. Then he was sealed away in a space beyond time, finding the dark power you'd felt from him and taking it into himself to become stronger. But he was still trapped in that space, growing old to the point of near-death before being brought back. He fights to regain his youth, waging war against the Time Kai who'd wronged him only for her to, upon his success, erase everything. All of time, reality, everything is simply gone except for a small bit of Mechikabura's soul and his Dark Factor, the power he'd found beyond time stored within the Dark Dragon Balls.

But the wild ride isn't over yet, as you see from his view within the orb that all of time is rebuilt, everything put back how it was only for him to convince a Towa working under Dumplin to release him. Allowing him to compare the old universe in one hand against the new one in the other. Seeing the difference and how it works, learning how to manipulate the power of Souls to crush Chronoa. Leading up to their final confrontation where she prepares to use her power, only for him to rip the accumulated power from all the Time God mantles she's wielded over reality after reality. Forcing her to flee. But then, like a tornado rushing by feel yourself pulled backwards off your feet, slamming back into your own body standing before the Demon God Mechikabura once more.

“I see. Yes, I think you'll do nicely.” the being older than you can comprehend says, suddenly blazing his aura. EVERYTHING shakes, all of reality itself trembling at his power as he stops holding back. But then, to your surprise, gathers a small, dark flame in his hand, one brimming with power yet is only a tiny, near-insignificant fraction of his strength. “You might have what it takes, one day.”
“Takes for what?” you ask, but without another word he flicks that tiny flame at you. It striking you in the chest, absorbing into your body immediately. The power instantly consumes you, scorching you body and soul for several moments. The power of the Dark Factor is unlike anything you've ever felt before, nearly drowning you in it. But, after what feels like an hour you get that raging power under control, sealing it away within you much as you had with that pesky Guardian of New Salda's divine might. “Haaaaaaah-!”

“Heh. It would seem that I was right about you. I'll be seeing you around, Kars.” he tells you, then turns back to the Kai woman beside him as you drop to your knees, panting to recover your strength while powering down. “Let's go somewhere a bit quieter to discuss further, Aeos.”
“Right.” she replies as he opens a dark portal, stepping through without looking back. The Kai follows, as well as the grey-skinned woman. But before she can step through the portal closes right in her face.
“Ah-! H-Hey?!” she exclaims, shocked she wasn't permitted to accompany them. But that is only noise to you as you focus on this power still raging inside, wanting to be unleashed. So focused on it, in fact, that you lose track of everything going on outside of you until the Elder Kai, having walked up behind you places a hand on your shoulder, startling you.

“Easy now. Come on, let's go back. I've seen enough.” Elder Kai says, you looking to him and nodding. The raging inferno seems to be settling down, allowing you to focus on moving and rising up to your feet. Elder Kai, with a look of genuine concern on his face puts a hand on your back as if to guide you, leading you away from the crowd a short distance. But, instead of returning immediately to his own time, he begins communicating telepathically with you. “Are you alright?”
“I'm fine. That was just.... A lot to handle.” you admit after a moment, keeping to not lying directly to the elder. With his magic powers, you aren't entirely sure he doesn't have some sort of lie-detecting magic, on top of his other tricks. “For a moment, I wasn't entirely sure if he was or wasn't trying to kill me.”

“Kars. I have to warn you. Be careful.” Elder Kai says, voice low as he steps around in front of you, meeting your gaze. But not looking quite into your eyes, almost like he's more looking at your nose, between your eyes. No doubt trying to avoid the same sort of Soulgaze Mechikabura'd just hit you with. “He may have given you that taste of power, but please be careful. Do not try and master it, as you have been with the Saiyans' the Divine power of us Kais, and others. Using the divine energy to create life beneath the surface on our world, or venturing to the mortal realm to try and reseed dead worlds with life is one thing. But if you try experimenting with that Dark Factor, it will consume you. Turning you into little more than a thrall for that demon. You must resist that temptation.”

And as the Elder Kai reveals that he's known all along what you've been up to, but simply remained quiet, your respect for Shin's elder only grows as you feel yourself smirk. THIS is what a real god should be, clever and cunning unlike like that incompetent buffoon Shin. But, aspiring to simply be a Supreme Kai suddenly feels like a waste of your talent and abilities. When you could aim to one day become so much MORE.

>>5933336
Reseeding dead worlds huh? Well hopefully he's not just making the new organisms thralls to his will.
>>
Kars, you arrogant idiot. you're in over your head and don't even realize it.
>>
>>5933343
Real "I am a genius" hours right here.
>>
>>5933342
He’s not starting that with sapient beings, more along the lines of single-celled organisms and simple life forms. Even some capable of photosynthesis.
>>5933343
On some level he does, he now completely grasps the gap between himself and Mechikabura not only in age and power, but knowledge and experience. But he’s juuuust arrogant enough to still think he’s special, after all Mechikabura took interest in Karn. Why not him too?
>>5933360
Less genius and more “I’m special” sort of way.
>>
>>5932449
Of course he got monkey in him....
>>
>>5933336
I am in awe at his ability to speak with all the bullshit falling down his throat with his head up his ass like this.
>>
>>5933389
He IS part Saiyan now, after all.
>>5933391
Kars or Old Kai?
>>
>>5933365
>Less genius and more “I’m special” sort of way.
Well the other half of that is the "Oh No" moment when he realizes he fucked up real bad.
>>
>>5933416
Oh you were making that old joke, I should have realized. It is one of my personal favorites
>>
>>5933365
>more along the lines of single-celled organisms and simple life forms. Even some capable of photosynthesis
Wow that is...shockingly tame. I guess it turned out to be a lot harder than he was expecting, right?
>>
>>5933445
Not quite, as Kars understands life better than even Old Kai or Gowasu now. Man can even photosynthesize if he wants, being Perfect and all. But his aspirations expanded from simply directly creating. Instead he wants to create an evolution line itself, to guide and craft a whole planet into his vision. See, in his experimentation he first started creating what were essentially living weapons. But while they were decent, strong enough to even kill Cold, they couldn’t survive on their own. He created life, but they were beings with no instincts, no drive for food or to mate, or even survival itself. They were, in his own opinion after terminating the first wave of projects, a mockery of life itself. A crude facsimile of living. No, his project now is to shape many beings over hundreds, maybe thousands of years into creating better. Better than anything Shin or his predecessors have ever created. Which may or may not get the attention of a certain other apprentice, eventually…
>>
>>5933336
You know I like this whole Kars actually accepting old Kai as a proper god, still though like we saw in the past in this quest and in JJBA, Kars is gonna inevitably fuck things up with his own arrogance and thinking he can control things he shouldn't.
>>
>>5933412
Yes
>>
>>5933458
Oh for fucks sake, this either turns into a dick measuring contest, or Shin fucks up so hard both try to jump him before the Merry Red Midwit gets shafted for his trouble.
>>
24 hours until the new arc begins!

>>5933526
While he cannot physically spar with the old Kai, he can do so philosophically and intellectually. Which is where his respect first turned from feigned to genuine. He is far more clever and insightful than he lets on, using the cantankerous old man schtick as a disguise.
>>5933743
Ha
>>5933745
Who knows? Such a project is at least centuries away from even birthing life visible to the normal naked eye. Inless Kars takes steps to… Expidite the process.
>>
>>5933780
>Unless Kars takes steps to… Expidite the process.
Let me guess, he's gonna try and create a localized field of time dilation around an uncharted planet, isn't he?
>>
>>5933918
If he did it hypothetically, who would really stop him?
>>
>>5933918
He doesn’t have any magic to do such a thing, the only control over time he has is Za Warudo. Which can only stop time, not accelerate it.
>>5934038
Very true. Elder Kai could have King Cold informed, to send Karn after him. But even with Towa and Chilli as backup, he’d probably escape. After he saw how you handled Majin Ozotto wielding his powers, as well as you and Chilli vs Nabu, he has taken steps to ensure neither you nor Chilli can kill him.
>>
>>5934048
>he has taken steps to ensure neither you nor Chilli can kill him
There are fates worse than death, something I'm sure he'll be reminded of soon enough.
>>
>>5934048
Man Kars is lucky he's a semi-immortal being and not a true immortal. No matter what he thinks, he ain't coming out on top if Jergal sends his best employee to take care of him. And it is the fate of everyone who "can't be killed/defeated" to get put under by Karn.

He trips so many death flags you'd think he was speedrunning minesweeper. Kars you big dumb oiled up fool.
>>
>>5934132
>Its that God Ki man, its in the blood, its like stupid is genetic maaan
>>
>>5934048
That Kars is a clever one, always having a plan for the worst case scenarios even if they're unlikely. If only he knew that his own worst enemy was himself. He could go far if he just learned when to fold them.
>>
>>5934053
Yes, but he remembers what you and Chilli did to Lobo as well. He knows not to face you with, let's just say 100% of himself present.
>>5934132
Well, the difference is he knows that it is POSSIBLE for him to be killed, so he's been taking steps to ensure his survival.
>>5934185
Well, it doesn't necessarily make one dumb. It accentuates and exaggerates ones traits. As well as their flaws.
>>5934316
He is absolutely prepared, even for himself. After all, he is VERY aware of his own weaknesses now.
>>
>>5934335
>Well, it doesn't necessarily make one dumb. It accentuates and exaggerates ones traits. As well as their flaws.
Which means if someone is a bitch, that just turns them into a dumb bitch. Trunk's learned his price eventually, Kars is just gonna take a little longer.
>>
>>5934346
>Which means if someone is a bitch, that just turns them into a dumb bitch
No. It doesn't 'make' someone dumb. If they're already dumb it accentuates that. If they're a coward they become more cowardly. If someone were an inspiring leader then gained access to divine ki it turns them into Optimus Prime mixed with Erwin Smith levels of inspiration, you could lead strangers into a battle of life and death and have them follow you into hell itself with a single speech. Divine ki makes one MORE of what they already are.
