Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After sparring with Beerus, Karn returned to Chilli's world for his son Kazuburo's first birthday. After the celebration Meloka returned to the divine realm with Beerus and Whis. Then after seeing Chaya's mental and spiritual healing at the hands of Yardratian Elder Pybara, Karn then battled a possessed Ginyu Force on Planet Pontaufeu. And just after they were defeated and the Ginyu Force members restored, as we rejoin Karn you have just received a sudden telepathic message from none other than Mechikabura himself.

“Karn, it's time. Today is the day Chronoa falls!” Mechikabura thinks to you. Only for you to suddenly no longer be standing on the planet where you'd saved the other Ginyu Force members with Guldo's help. Instead you find yourself in an unfamiliar place, alongside your eldest daughter Chaya and your youngest son Karn Jr. Both of who start looking around in confusion, until their gaze rests upon the Demon God sitting there before them. He has a Namekian there by his side, all seven of the Dark Dragon Balls piled at his feet. But what surprises you is how old he seems, every breath accompanied by a slight but noticeable wheezing. “I have run out of time, we must begin immediately.”

“What's going on?” Chaya asks, immediately suspicious of him while Karn Jr waves to Mechikabura, seemingly familiar with the demon god.
“Hey! Hi Mechi! Sorry you missed Kazuburo's birthday!” he says, not showing even a slight hint of fear.
“I have run out of time, and wasn't able to come.” he answers, then gestures to Fu standing at his left. “Tell them.”
“The plan is simple. Karn Jr, your power combined with your father's is the key to victory.” he says, the purple-skinned demon adjusting his glasses so they catch the light, obscuring your view of his eyes. “You're going to transform, power up to the max, then channel all that power of yours into your father's Soulstone. Then your part in this is over, and you'll be able to go home as soon as you recover.”

“But I can't control it.” Junior says, sounding upset. “I can't handle it yet.”
“And that's where Chaya comes in.” he says with a knowing smirk. “Little miss Sith here will use her Mind Domination to control your body while you're transformed, keeping you under control and stopping you from rampaging should you slip. Then, once you've given everything you've got to power the stone, you both can leave.”
“What if the Soulstone can't handle that much power?” you ask, worried about this plan. “Can it even take in so much strength?”
“Not the small piece you have with you. Which is why-” Mechikabura says, gesturing weakly behind you. So you and your children turn, your jaw dropping in surprise. How the hell did he bring that here?!

“Once your children's task is done, it will be your turn.” Fu continues, sounding eager as you look at the giant crystal crater somehow transported to this realm. “Once connected to all that power, your job is to convert it to your own. And spread it.”
“Spread it?” you ask while turning to him, not sure what he means. When he snaps, and as if on cue dozens upon dozens of Towa show up, each with a masked Broly standing behind them. Some have one, others two, some having other Saiyans as well like Bardock, King Vegeta IV, and even some King Vegeta III's, as well as other faces. Some of who you recognize and others not, each wearing one of the Towa's mind control masks. Even one of that feral Meloka you've seen before, now standing docilely by her Towa. “Woah.”

“With your power inherently being immune to the Time Kai's powers, your strength will be what allows this army to invade Conton City without worry.” he concludes, sounding almost giddy with excitement. But you notice that several familiar faces aren't here, your Towa and family aren't among those in attendance. “With you and your son's powers combined, you'll be able to spread your Berserker Soul's influence across hundreds of Saiyans, giving them all immunity or at least a level of resistance to Chronoa's powers without weakening your own strength.”
“And once everyone's ready, I shall open the hidden gateway into Conton City. Where you, General Karn, will lead my army in.” Mechikabura says, then lets loose a rattling cough before continuing. “Destroy the Time Patrol, lay waste to Conton City and wreak havoc in their safe place. And once my youth and my power have been restored, I shall join you in the field as well, and we'll crush Chronoa once and for all!”

“Any questions, before we begin?” Fu asks you, to which you nod.
“Yeah, just one. Where are Future Chaya, Ace, and everyone else? I was expecting them to be a part of this battle.”
“Your daughter from another time and the former Time Patroller, as well as a few others... Invested in your family's survival who have been chosen for the task of protecting your family.” Mechikabura says, wheezing a bit as he sends you a telepathic image of your son, Chilli. Except he's far older, with a long beard and half his face reduced to nothing but a skeleton. “I suspect that Chronoa, once the attack begins, will send one of her minions after your family. Framing me in this reality for doing what I'd done before, to your predecessor.”

“I see. Thank you.” you say with a nod, knowing that your family are all protected. “Alright, let's get started. Junior, Chaya, are you both ready?”
“Ready!” Chaya replies, nodding back to you.
“I'll do my best!” Jr replies, pumping his fist. He then clenches them, closing his eyes as he begins focusing. You all feel his power surge, strength exploding as he takes on his Super Saiyan 3 form, but then his aura begins to swell. His quantity of strength begins increasing exponentially, ki increasing as it begins changing from golden to a more yellow-green. You all feel Karn Jr's ki explode, increasing from one to two, to four, to eight, to sixteen times the quantity of power, doubling every instant until his power grows to that of several hundred beings' worth. “HRRRRAAAAA!! GRRRRR! GRRRRAAAAAAA!!”

“He's losing control. Chaya!” you snap, turning to your daughter. Who is already at the ready, dashing around in front of your son and raising a hand. She waves it in front of his face, his angry expression softening in confusion as she talks to him.
“You want to take all your power, and send it into the stone over there.” she says, wiggling her fingers on her outstretched hand.
“I want to take all my power, and send it into the stone over there.” he replies in an odd, monotone voice, floating over towards the crater Mechikabura had somehow brought here. Your son kneels down, as Chaya kneels down as well, you realizing he's mirroring her movements. Then, you can all feel it as he begins pouring his ki into the stone, the Soulstone Crater beginning to fill and glow. After a few seconds you can feel the air vibrating around you all from the power your son has sent into the stone, the crater itself beginning to emit a low, faint humming noise.

“Excellent, it's working!” Fu exclaims, then addresses you. “Now, Karn. While he's charging the stone. Draw upon its power, and start spreading the might of your Berserker Soul.”

“Right.” you reply, drawing your Soulstone from out of your boot before clenching your fists and transforming into your Berserker God form. Then, once transformed you open yourself up to the stone's power, drawing it in. However, instead of just tapping into it, you feel ALL of your son's power begin flooding into your being, scorching your from within. “GRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!”
“Dammit!” you hear someone faintly shout, then a few moments later feel someone grabbing your right arm. Looking down you see a Towa in her Demon God form lifting your arm and pressing it to the chest of a Broly, one in his Primal form. “Now Karn! Share your power with him!”

Gritting your teeth against the agony you release some of the tempest of power swirling within you, emerald energy flooding from your hand into the other Saiyan. Immediately you feel his Berserker Soul blaze to resist your power, but it is futile. With several hundred beings' worth of ki behind you, you crush that Miyashi shade instantly under the weight of all this power, dominating that far weaker Berserker Soul. And infusing it with some of your own overwhelming, overflowing might. Then, once you've broken that soul to your will you withdraw your hand, another Towa bringing another Primal Broly forward.

Over and over you repeat the process, crushing the wills of the weaker Berserker Souls over and over again with the overwhelming force of your son's near-limitless ki he's continuously pouring into the Soulstone. You do this over and over, continuing after your son's power gives out. You feel his strength give out, his and Chaya's energies vanishing from this realm long before your work is done. But then, after maybe five minutes, it is over. Most of the power Karn Jr had added to the Soulstone has been consumed, leaving just enough for a considerable recharge once you're in the battle.

“Well done. It is time.” Mechikabura says, snapping his fingers and causing the Soulstone Crater to vanish once again, this time a swirling portal appearing in its place. “Go forth, General Karn. Show the Time Patrol the true meaning of fear.”
“HRRRAAA!!” you roar, going to full power instantly. Then you turn to the kneeling Saiyans, everyone faintly radiating with an emerald aura as your power surges through them, your army of Berserkers held at bay only by your word. “Follow me.”

And with that order you turn, charging headlong directly into the portal. Reality distorts around you, leaving a sickening feeling in your guts for a moment, but then when you can see again, find yourself in some sort of cave. With an odd-looking machine resting on four thin legs, sitting in clear disuse.

Ignoring the machine you head towards the opening, flying through it and up, sensing thousands of weaker powerlevels and a few dozen stronger ones all scattered about. Immediately you fly up the cliff face, cresting the peak and looking down on a familiar scenery. It hasn't changed much from the last time you'd been involuntarily drawn into Conton City by the damned Time Kai, but now you're back. And ready to get your revenge for everything they've done to you.

“KILL THEM ALL!” you roar, emerald aura blazing defiantly in the sky. Several voices down below can be heard screaming at your arrival, fear washing over the inhabitants of Conton City as your army of Berserkers swarm over the cliff. “CRUSH THEM!”

“GRRRRRAAAAAAA!!” your army roars, flying through the air and spreading out, rushing in all directions as hundreds of Time Patrollers power up, their ki either spiking or changing to divine as they prepare to do battle with your forces.


But what do you do?

“They could be a problem.” you think to yourself, feeling several powerful ki signatures from the top of the mountain. And while your army's strength is quite impressive, if they all come down in force it could spell trouble. So, without hesitating you blast off, blitzing the top of the mountain. In an instant you've left the central courtyard behind, stopping above what seems to be some sort of arena. Where two fighters are engaged in combat, with several onlookers watching.

“Nnnnn-GYUUUH!” one warrior roars, leaping towards his foe and swinging an axe covered in what seems to be ice down, smashing it to the ground and knocking his opponent up, only to draw a pair of flaming short swords attached by chains to his arms, swinging them both up and into the man, pulling himself up to him into a flying knee to his opponent. Sending the Super Saiyan Blue warrior flying at you. His eyes widen in shock, you reaching out and catching him by the head, crushing it with your bare hand in a spray of blood. “What the FUCK?! What is HE doing here?!!”
“Oh shi-i-eeeit! That's Karn!” the orange-skinned man on the sidelines shouts, immediately powering up. Several other fighters do the same, including the one with the weapons you recognize as the one called Seereax with his fiery blades. “What is HE doing here?”

“Who cares? We gotta whoop! Dat! Ass!” his ally wearing the purple coat says, immediately vanishing inside a blinding white aura. His energy changes from mortal to divine, taking on the power of Ultra Instinct. At the same time the warrior wielding the blades and axe transforms as well, taking on the power quite similar to the Destroyer Beerus' own strength, aura blazing with malicious intent. “WUTIZGOIN?!”

The white-haired Patroller teleports near-instantly, but you easily still catch his right fist with your left hand. Then drive your right fist square into his face as his eyes widen in surprise, feeling his nose crunch as your strike sends him crashing back to the arena floor.

“Friction Fist!” the orange-skinned one shouts, punching the air and sending a beam of crimson energy shooting directly at you. Which you narrowly dodge, leaning aside to the left and twisting clockwise, backing away as the attack passes inches from you.
“Tch! HRRAAAAA!!” you roar, firing a Scattershot down in retaliation. The orb splits into hundreds of shots, raining down on the grouped fighters as well as the audience, many of who are caught in the explosions.
“BROLY! Geddem!” another voice shouts, only for another Broly, one you hadn't seen yet suddenly shoots up through the explosions at you. Smirking, you send a bit of power into him, trying to submit his Berserker Soul as well. But, to your shock, this one doesn't have one!

“What?!” you exclaim in shock, stunned. What the hell IS this Broly?
“Choo CHOOO!!” the warrior wearing Broly's appearance shouts, driving his forearm into your chest and driving you back before launching you even higher into the air. Then, as you're flying he CHANGES, morphing from looking like Broly into a Super Saiyan Blue. Wearing a suit of mainly blue with orange undershirt and white gloves and boots, his power spikes, thrusting a hand up and creating a massive Energy Blade. Then, as he swings it down his voice has changed as well, no longer sounding like Broly but like there's two of him, speaking slightly out-of-sync. “Mmm-BOI!”

With no time to evade you're forced to catch the massive energy weapon, palms smacking the flats of the energy and stopping the cutting edge from reaching you. Only for the other speaker, the one you hadn't seen to dash up beside you as a man with a red mohawk, no energy signature whatsoever as the energy attack ends.

“DUNK!” he shouts, hitting you with a shock wave that knocks you off-balance, then grabbing you and dropping straight to the ground, slamming you down head first into the arena floor and burying you down to your waist.
“GRRRAAAAA!!” you roar, firing an Explosive Wave and blasting yourself free as well as knocking him back, only for the six warriors to surround you. The Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego Saiyans, the Orange-skinned man in the red and black suit who looks like a Grey if one of them ever found a Berserker powerup of their own, the green-armored one with the red mohawk, the warrior in blue and orange who you now see is wearing Potara earrings as well, and a small woman with black hair, wearing an oversized white shirt with a man in green and black with an orange helmet behind her.

But what do you do?

>Try and take them all down immediately with a Red Dawn, no need to conserve strength. If you really need more power later you always have the charged-up Soulstone

“You think you can stop ME?! you exclaim, clenching your fists and blazing your aura. “BRING IT ON!”
“HEAVY!” the green-armored man shouts, charging directly at you shoulder-first. Seeing him charging you from the front you step into his attack, planting your feet and dropping under his shoulder. You see the man's eyes widen in surprise, unable to stop his charge as you drive your left elbow up into his guts, halting his charge in its tracks. “Guyah-?! HELP!”
“DRRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, twisting into a right uppercut landing squarely on the chin, launching the warrior into the sky. Only for the warrior Reax to charge in, leaping into the air and dropping down on you with the axe in both hands.

“RRRA-Schkflani?” he exclaims in surprise as you catch his weapon by the haft in your already raised right hand, driving your left fist straight into his guts then snapping that same elbow upwards, crunching his chin and knocking him flipping backwards through the air. “Gu-waaaaaaoh!”
“TECHNIQUE!” the coat-wearing one with the white hair shouts from behind you, suddenly appearing before you as dozens of heavy blows hit you from all sides. The surprising technique staggers you back a step as the girl jumps down at you foot-first, clearly planning to take advantage of the opening. But she's too slow, you catching her out of the air with your left hand and spin counterclockwise, swinging her into the orange-skinned one and sending both flying back.
“MY TURN!” the one that changed forms says, appearance again shifting. This time to another Potara-wearing being, this one with green skin and white hair, still radiating with divine power. “Prepare to face divine justice, ningen!”

Immediately he raises a finger, creating a powerful energy bomb and throwing it down at you. In response you raise your right hand to your forehead, teleporting up behind him the instant before the attack would have hit you. And before he can react or even sense you teleporting behind him you raise both hands overhead, swinging down on the top of his head with a two handed “Falling Avalanche” blow of Djem So. As your heaviest strike connects you feel something in his head or neck snap, body going limp and dropping to the ground. Only for the pink-haired warrior radiating with destructive power to rush in again, right arm drawn back for a heavy blow. You try and strike first, firing off a lightning-quick left jab, only for him to stop his charge and raise his left forearm, blocking your strike. But something's different with his block, as it somehow redirects your attack's force back at you, staggering you. The hell did he do?

“PERBLODONDOIT!!” he roars, conjuring a pair of twin curved, pitch-black greatswords and swinging both down at you. With only an instant to react you raise both arms up in front of you, swinging them out and deflecting the heavy-seeming blades out past you with your arm guards. Sparks flying as they skate across your armor. “What the FU-?!”
“GRRRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, diving in and smashing your forehead into his face, feeling his nose crunch. You follow it up with a devastating right cross, sending him flying back and crashing into the ruined stands.
“TECHNIIIIIIQUE!” the same Ultra Instinct-wielding one shouts, but this time you're ready. Sensing his approach you spin, swinging your right forearm around at his head level, catching his square in the face. Your blow, combining your power with his speed knocks him flat on his ass, and before he can recover you raise your foot, stomping down. Crushing his neck in a spray of blood, severing his head.

“RHYYYYME! You-You hurt my... FRIEND!!” the orange-skinned warrior roars, his powerlevel suddenly surging! “Tch!” you seethe through clenched teeth, tearing yourself free only for a FIST to fly out of nowhere, striking you upside the head. You turn, seeing the detached hand falling down to the ground by your feet. You look to it and to your right, seeing the green-armored, red mohawk'd man charging right at you. You see him rushing forward and plant your feet, kicking off the ground and driving your fist into and through his chest. But there isn't a spray of blood, instead a dark fluid sprays as sparks dance around the hole in his chest. “What the-?!”
“Self-destruct sequence. Initiated!” he shouts, swinging both arms in a swing familiar to your own grab for the Grinder technique. But before he can grab you you tear your fist free, swinging your left into his head and send him flying back. Crashing to the ground by the black haired woman, only to see she's shapeshifted as well into that Time Patroller Kakarot, Goku. Who has their hands raised to the air.

“My W. It's ready!” he exclaims, clenching his right fist before him before drawing it back, thrusting it towards you. Sending a smallish orb of blue energy at you. “Become CONTENT!”

“Tch. Even now, treating this like a game.” you seethe through clenched teeth, gathering your ki as you draw your right back into an Energy Javelin. “This is no game, you're fighting to LIVE!”

And with a roar you fire the attack, it splitting into dozens of smaller spears and filling the air with piercing attacks. He blazes his destructive aura, energy shifting to the same sort of power Beerus wields and destroying your lesser attacks. Then, the instant he drops that you swing your other hand forward, firing a Scatter Beam at his chest. To which he dodges, but his ally behind him wasn't ready. Taking all five shots to his chest, hair vanishing as his powerlevel plummets.

“Dei...On....Why?” he asks, ki fading entirely as he passes away.
“Should have dodged.” Seereax replies casually, raising his arms up in a basic defensive stance before him. “My beat skip is unti-!”
“HRRAAAAA!!” you roar, firing a horizontal Death Slash towards him. Forcing him to drop the stance and leap into the air, avoiding the slashing energy. He draws back his massive blades again, and as he lands throws his arms wide, the swords glowing as suddenly gravity changes. In no longer presses down, but instead all draws in towards him. You don't resist, instead gathering your ki into your right hand as a Piercing Fist as he pulls you in. His eyes widen in surprise as he realizes his mistake, trying to bring his weapons to bear but he's far too late. “HAAAA!”

You drive your piercing ki straight through his chest, blood spraying out his back as you sever his spine. The man coughs up blood, unable to swing the heavy weapons anymore and dropping them as his arms go limp.

“I-I'm not... Done... Ye....” he says, swinging his right fist into your jaw. But his arms are limp and have no power, you not even feeling it as his life fades away. And while the whole camera nonsense did annoy you, reminding you of your daughter's worse side, you have to admit he was a fighter to the end. Drawing your arm out of his chest you take back to the air, leaving the empty arena behind as you turn back to see how the battle over Conton City is going. Below you, at the Time Nest portal you now see dozens of warriors have gathered, including several you recognize as members of Trunks' team, standing around a couple of Broly corpses they no doubt killed. But you don't sense him yet, seems he's most likely still hiding inside the Time Nest, along with Chronoa.

Your Berserkers have destroyed the courtyard where you all arrived, turning it into a field of craters covered in blood and body parts. A few Time Patrollers are still there fighting several Broly, their powers surprisingly letting them resist. Towards the city you sense the Destroyer you'd sensed earlier erase another of your Broly, its energy vanishing while others rampage. You sense dozens of weak powerlevels vanishing every second, not sensing many warriors in the city. From behind you, on the other side of the mountain you sense a few extraordinary powerlevels, several of your Broly fighting them. But from what you can feel at least two of them are down and dying, the fighters there are no ordinary warriors.

But as you hover there, above the battlefield suddenly someone's ki appears behind you. You turn, swinging your right in a backfist towards the sudden ki, only for someone to catch your fist. And you see the warrior confronting you, the familiar face of the fused, redheaded fighter your daughter has faced on more than one occasion.

“Well now, you've been causing quite the mess here.” he says, and before you can react hits you with something. It's too fast to see, the heavy blow sending you crashing down to the crater-covered ground below. As the dust clears around you he drops down, arms crossed as he stares down at you smugly. “But I've had enough. I'm ending this. Any last words?”

Well? What do you do?

“Couldn't fight me like men, had to resort to fusion? Figures.” you taunt from the ground, smirking up at the fused warrior as you focus on his ki. He scoffs as you, and as his blinks you raise your right hand up to your forehead, ready to Instant Transmission behind him. However, it seems he was ready for it, as the moment you do he pounces. Without a wasted movement, the instant you start trying for your Instant Transmission he's closed the distance, driving his knee into your guts. His strike is so heavy that it knocks the wind out of you, leaving you wheezing as you exhale all the air in your body, along with a bit of blood. “Kuuuuh-?!”

“Did you really think I'd fall for an amateur trick like that?” he asks you, smirking cockily as he gets right in your face, staring right into your eyes uncomfortably close. Knee still pressed into your guts as he crosses his arms, clearly thinking he's got you dead to rights. “Instant Transmission. Really? Against me? And what was the next step in your 'master plan'?”
“This.” you reply with a bit of a wheeze as you get your wind back, swinging both arms up and grabbing your hands, pinning the fusion warrior to your chest. With his arms crossed, he wasn't able to react in time, eyes widening as he realizes how easily the tables have been turned on him. “Die.”
“Oh n-!” he says, but your ki tearing its way out of you from all sides drowns out whatever else he was going to say. Everything turns red as your energy explodes, consuming the warrior pinned to your chest. For several seconds your energy continues to pour forth, eventually your outpouring of energy is stronger than you can even resist yourself, blasting the fused fighter out of your grip. They disappear off somewhere in the red void around you, you ending the attack after another couple seconds.

Sighing out, you feel yourself fall back to the ground, the glow of your explosion fading to reveal the massive crater your own attack had made. The ENTIRE area where your attack started has been leveled all the way to the mountain base, your crater wall ending at the staircase leading up the mountain. Pushing yourself upright you focus your ki sense, finding the fusion warrior is still alive as well, uniform shredded and showing off more of the Apex Primal form's crimson hair as he looks down at you.

“You're too dangerous to play around with. I'm ending this.” he says, golden aura with sparkling stars in it flaring as he stares you down.

“BiG BANG-!” he starts, raising both hands and creating a massive azure ball of ki radiating rings of energy out from it vertically as he prepares to wipe you out. “KAMEHA-!!”

But then a golden line appears down the middle of his body, then to your shock splits straight in half! Dividing back into two separate Primal Saiyans, one of who is clearly a Vegeta.

“What?!” they exclaim, looking in surprise to each other. Completely forgetting that you're there and leaving themselves wide open. You immediately charge forward, gritting your teeth against the pain you feel in your chest as you slam your forearms into both of their heads and necks. Driving both of them back and swinging your arms forward, smashing both of their heads into each other. Neither skull gives way, but both of them instantly power back down to their base forms. You open your arms, letting both drop limply down into the crater. Then, as you prepare to go for a finishing blow on them both, you hear a woman's voice call out.

“Geist Magnum!”

Looking up, you see a redheaded woman flying straight down at you, firing a beam of energy with electricity crackling around it. Her attack has barely enough power for you to sense, yet your instincts ping off the attack. So you fly back a few feet, avoiding the attack.

“So, you're the big bad Karn I've heard so much about. Funny, I thought you'd be taller.” she says, and despite the MASSIVE gap in power you don't sense any fear from her whatsoever. And with her being even smaller than your wife, it's hard to take her seriously. But then, as the wind blows you can smell the woman, smelling something you haven't sensed for decades.
“A Tuffle?” you say, genuinely surprised that one of their kind could ever reach even that level of power. Had one of them had a warrior of her caliber, perhaps the Saiyans would never have conquered their planet.
“Not just any Tuffle, I'm a Super Tuffle!” she says, striking several poses as she talks. Reminding you of the Ginyu Force, or the Crimson Demon Clan your son married into. “My name is Maple Son-Mahogany, Mahou Knight and Time Patroller!”

Despite her goofy attitude and lack of raw power, something tells you that she's not one to underestimate. Her power also feels [i[different[/i], reminding you of Chilli's presence when he shifts into that starry form of his. Something tells you she can use magic, in some capacity.

So, you immediately activate your Energy Body while reaching out telepathically through your Berserker Soul to the nearest warriors. Connecting to a Turles and Broly and sending them a telepathic image of the downed Time Patrollers, along with the message, “Kill them, now!”

But in your moment of distraction, she's also readied for the battle, combining several of her Warding Eye-like orbs together into a trio of larger orbs crackling with lightning, then throwing her hand forward and firing an attack.

“MP BUSTER!” she shouts, firing a beam at you. Your instincts warn you that that attack could be trouble, immediately twisting your upper body clockwise around the attack. Only for her to throw an energy blade from her left hand where you're going, shouting out, “Power Slicer!”
“Haaa!” you shout, deflecting the attack with your forearm coated in armored ki. Or, rather, you'd tried to deflect it. Instead your strike shatters it, the woman's eyes widening in surprise. You take that moment of shock to bend down, drawing the dragon bone knife Spell Breaker from your boot, holding it in a reverse grip in your left hand.
“SPOOKY SHOCK!” she shouts, firing a charged electric shock at you. Which you easily stop with your dagger, cutting the spell as you channel your ki into it through your Energy Body, the blade glowing an instant before contact. As your weapon hits her magic there's the usual blinding flash of light, it fading after a moment to reveal her magic had been erased. “What?”

“DIE!!” you shout, charging the tiny Tuffle. Only for her little orbs hovering around her to start firing shots of energy the size of one of your transformed fingers, you trusting your armor to stop them. However, as the first one hits, suddenly you realize that you'd underestimated her, as each of them is infused with lightning. The same lightning Milha used to strengthen your pain tolerance now courses through your body, your Energy Body doing little to mitigate the shock. But while you barely feel the pain of the lightning itself, thanks to that training with your daughter, you discover that you can't move!
“Geist Magnum!” she shouts as she flies around you, crashing into the wall of the crater. Her beam hits your armored back, and while her attack doesn't so much as scratch you it leaves you paralyzed a moment longer. Giving her precious seconds to make distance between you two again. “MP BUSTER!”

Shaking off the paralysis you turn, seeing the attack coming towards you you again ready the knife, blade glowing with your ki. However, as your attack strikes it, something... Odd, happens. There isn't the usual flash of light, the ki you'd enfused into the weapon simply vanishing. However, the beam is stopped by the dagger, Maple ending it after a few moments. She seems rather surprised by the result, eyeing your dagger with a more critical eye now.

“If you want to see it up close, all you have to do. Is ASK!” you shout, lunging forward towards her at full speed. However, as you charge, suddenly you feel something try to pull the blade from your hand with her left, while again firing a beam of ki from her right hand's outstretched finger with a cry of “GEIST MAGNUM!!”

You tighten your fist, not letting go of the weapon while dodging around the beam with a Su Ma spin, narrowly avoiding it as you close in to point-blank range. Where she gives up on trying to steal your weapon with telekinesis, instead opting to go for another new attack with her left.

“PHANTOM SHOTGUN!” she roars, swinging her left forward and unleashing a wide-area blast of ki, again not very powerful but also infused with lightning. However, it doesn't SLOW your advance, the woman unable to wholly evade your charge. She does manage to avoid your dagger, but with your body being so broad in this form, your right shoulder crashes into her side as you pass, sending her spinning from the force of the glancing blow. “GYUH!”
“Tch!” you seethe through clenched teeth, again shaking off the paralysis and turning back to her. Then, before she can regain control, sent spinning by your blow you charge her. She doesn't recover before you close in, driving your knife into her her left shoulder. “HAAAA!”
“Kyaaaah!” she screams in pain, then gritting her teeth raises her right hand to your elbow, about an inch away. Then, she swings, fist striking your armor as she shouts, Fractal Strike!”

And to your shock, her attack actually manages to freeze your Energy Body! Your entire left arm's armor is frozen solid, the woman pulling herself off your dagger in your moment of surprise by kicking off your chest. She holds her injured shoulder in her right hand, eyes still burning with determination as you end your Energy Body momentarily, flaring your aura to shatter the ice before reactivating your armor. Sure she froze your armor, but the ice didn't reach your body because it was active, leaving you wondering just how devastating that could have been if you hadn't activated it?

Immediately you sense a familiar presence radiating from her, one near-identical to your Divine Dragon Force, Caulifla's Triumph Requiem, Okira's Imagine Dragon, and Koruza's Dark Rider. Seems this woman's also a Stand wielder. And as it appears behind you, horned face turning to look at you, you don't see a face intent on showing any mercy. And you have a feeling that this fight's about to get a lot more dangerous as the beast fixes its rectangular-pupil'd eyes on you, staring directly into your soul.

Rip berserker god, also screwing with dice is pain and suffering, and I know there's a whole hell of a lot of battle left so we might not even make to trunks, let alone the time witch herself.Honestly I might be more concerned about this then even the siege, at least in the siege we had tangible progress and more allies then nebulous amounts of broly's.

Gotta say, apart from the low mystery (which probably corresponds to our energy body getting frozen there at the end, and a failure to achieve a one-round kill), I'm surprised to read the fight narrated so unfavourably/neutrally considering the rest of the rolls.

In the middle section there, we're getting our charge halted by lightning, getting paralysed by that lightning, losing the initiative as she gains distance and tries to telekinetically steal our knife while unleashing a pair of attacks, and then missing a stab to only glance her with our shoulder. All while rolling 95, 96, [success], CRIT.

I get that this is meant to be a significant foe (character from an older quest, art commissioned for her and everything), but I think we deserved to fuck her up a good bit more there.
We landed a single good stab at the end there, but the 83 alone justifies that.

That’s because Maple is a whole lot faster than you are in her Mahou Knight form. The fact you managed to tag her -at all- is the crit, dodging/deflecting the MP Busters(which can potentially one shot completely destroy your Energy Body) were successes. It’s like a slugger fighting an outboxer twice as fast as themself. Her speed and skillset are direct counters to your entire kit, as long as she can keep her Mahou Knight form up.

You know, it's weird, I always see people clamoring to get Foresight in any quest that has it as an option. I never see people try to go for shit like Retrocognition or Parachronal Cognition. They're not as combat effective, sure, but their out of combat use sounds insane, and you can still use them to tell how your opponent reacts to most situations and what cards they might have up their sleeve. I don't really know of any quest that explores those abilities.

If it was a destiny sort of thing, yes Karn's Fateless would be a good counter. But Xeno Maple's foresight is Jedi-tier, seeing what happens TO HER a second or so ahead at all times mid-battle. Giving her Tuffle brain all the time it needs to come up with a plan and execute.

As the goat-like Stand stares unnervingly at you, the woman takes a deep breath, sighing out slowly as she raises her right hand back up to point at you. Again she gathers her energy, you taking your ready stance. But then she smirks,snapping her left hand's fingers. And that's when you realize you're still where she was, inside the triangle of her three massive orbs of energy as your dagger stops the beam. The little orbs, from somewhere behind you hit you with another volley of electrified shots, paralyzing and trapping you in place.

“Trinity Spark.” she says simply, the three orbs all explode in a massive burst of ki and lightning. The maelstrom of magical and ki energy wash over your Energy Body, carving it away. Your Energy Body still isn't penetrated, but her attack carves swaths through it, leaving it paper-thin in places. Only for, the very instant that attack ends, she fires another one, this one magical. “LUMINAIRE!”

This time, however, you were ready, energy charged into the dagger. But the magical blast isn't something she fires at you, instead there's a massive burst of scorching light from directly behind you. It melts through your weakened Energy Body, burning your back as the powerful blast washes over you. Yet it lasts only an instant, as the moment the attack's power comes in contact with your dagger there is that same flash of blinding azure light, and the spell is gone. But she's STILL not done, again firing that same “MP Buster” at you. This time you're too slow to stop it, the attack striking your Energy Body directly. And, to your surprise, you don't even feel the attack hit. But what's even more shocking is the attack somehow completely destroys what's left of your Energy Body, disrupting and dispelling your ki armor completely.

“I knew I just needed a little luck. Thanks, Liam!” she says, not to you but to her Stand. Leaving you wondering what would have happened to you had that attack struck directly, and not on your Energy Body? “Just a bit longer and we've got him!”
“Tch.” you exhale, readying yourself to continue the fight. She's fast, but this fight doesn't feel unwinnable. Yet. You just need a solid plan of attack.

Telekinesis isn't our strong suit, but I think it might be one of hers.
Ideally I would vote for something like a hellzone grenade to fill the space with so much shit she can't possibly nullify or dodge it (without exhausting herself by a lot more, at least), but I want to break the tie.

“Got me? No, I've got you!” you reply, throwing your right hand out. She immediately dashes to her right, but you're not trying to throw an attack at her. Instead, you reach out with your telekinesis, grabbing her around the body. She feels it immediately, eyes widening as her arms are pinned to her side in your grip. But then she points her finger at your face, whispering something. And everything goes dark. You feel that she's conjured something around you head, not letting the light through and not directly attacking your vision, but for what you're doing you don't need it. Instead, focusing on your telekinesis draw her into your outstretched hand. You grab her entire upper body in your fist, but then as you do suddenly get a vision. You see her unleashing an Explosive Wave, also charged up with electricity to stun you as you try and crush her in both hands, her Stand then headbutting you and breaking her free of your grip. The vision only lasts an instant, but you take full advantage. Knowing what's coming you instead release her with your hand, but not your telekinesis as you swing, slamming your left fist square into her face.

“KYAAAAAAAH!!” she cries out in pain as your attacks sends her flying back, slamming into the crater wall back-first hard enough to embed herself in it. Her Stand, hovering behind her takes some of the impact, getting between herself and the wall, but as you feel her ki start to drop noticeably you think you've done it. Only for her to raise her head to look you in the eyes again, seemingly uninjured. And that's when you realize that she knows the Yardratian Spirit Control technique of ki healing, having used a chunk of power to repair her injuries. Even the wound in her shoulder from your dagger is gone. “Guuuh. That was one hell of a punch. I don't think I've ever been hit that hard before.”

You don't reply, immediately throwing your hand out again trying to grab her with telekinesis, but this time you feel something resisting your power. Somehow she's resisting your telekinesis, pushing back with telekinetic power of her own. Her strength isn't as powerful as your own, she can't overpower you. But her telekinesis is strong enough to put up a fight, resisting your power and keeping you from throwing her around.

“But that won't work on me twice. You're not the only one who can do that.” she replies, while with her left hand creates another swarm of the tiny Warding Eye-like orbs around her. Seeing that she can still use her energy attacks while resisting your telekinesis you end the technique, wishing you'd have gotten the chance to capitalize on your technique a little more. But then you sense several other powerlevels dropping down from the group gathered by the Time Nest's entrance.

Looking up, you see Trunks' squad, all except for the redheaded woman. The Namekian, two humanoids and the two Majin creatures all fly down to her level, staring you down.

“Time Patrol, here to help!” the Majin woman says, the group taking up defensive stances around Maple. This could prove to be more of a problem, she was enough trouble on her own. But with all of these guys here supporting her, you could be in trouble.

“Grrrrr!” HAAAAA!!” you roar, immediately gathering your ki into your right hand's first two fingertips, firing a horizontal Death Slash at the group as you fly backwards. The Time Patrollers scatter, all except for the round Majin who simply lets your attack bisect him. As you back off you reach out through your Berserker Soul, grabbing a dozen or so of the ones still rampaging in the city's attention. “All of you, come to me now!”

Immediately you feel them all start rushing towards you, but as you'd done so the Time Patroller squad went on the attack. The Majin creature went straight for what she does best, stretching her body into a pink wave trying to consume you. Which you stop with a simple Explosive Wave, shredding her body into mist.

“Kamehame-HAAA!!” the two men shout, firing a combined, spiraling twin blue beam of energy at you.
“BARRIER!” you retort, creating your energy shield and stopping the men's attack. Their beams strike your shield, deflecting off and spreading out across your shield for several seconds before they end the attack as a familiar voice shouts “MP Buster”. However, as soon as they do, another attack strikes into your shield, you feeling the ki you'd invested in your Barrier vanishing completely. And, to your shock, the Tuffle flying into close range.
“WOLF FANG FIST!” she shouts, accompanied by a phantom wolf's howl as she closes in, sparks danging around her open hands. The tiny Tuffle launches into a barrage of rapid-fire palm strikes, you raising your arms to guard the first one. But after the first hit, the lightning courses throughout your body, paralyzing you as the goat bleats mockingly. With your body stuck she goes in, landing a couple dozen strikes to your chest before drawing both arms back, double palm striking your chest with a shout of, “NOOOOW!”

The large Namekian dashes forward, suddenly growing nearly as much as your Berserker transformation does for you while his body changes, becoming far more muscular and orange as his powerlevel surges. He becomes stronger than any of the other Time Patrollers you're currently fighting, rushing in and firing Eye Beams at you. Which, while you're still paralyzed counter by firing Eye Beams of your own, which are far stronger. You push his back, forcing him to end the technique and dodge to avoid taking a direct shot through his eyes.But you don't stop your Guided Eye Beams, redirecting them to chase him down.

“What?!” he exclaims as your attack changes directions abruptly, both beams taking him through the side of his chest under his arm. They both pierce straight through him, shooting out the other side through his left arm. But you're not done yet.

“DIE!” you snarl, redirecting the beams back into him over and over. You make over a dozen holes in him in seconds, ending the attack by driving the beams up and through his head, killing him. The Namekian falls, reverting from his new orange skin tone back to the usual green as he drops down to the bottom of the crater. And then, your reinforcements arrive.
“Get AWAY FROM HIM!!” the Feral Meloka you'd infused with some of your Berserker God power roars, blitzing past you in her Primal form, Energy Claws drawn and blazing with the emerald Berserker power, you see her eyes blazing Berserker green. Leaving you wondering what happened to her mask, as she was wearing it when you'd given her some of your power. “Don't you TOUCH my Karn!!”

Streaking past you she goes straight for Maple, the redheaded Tuffle immediately firing her MP Buster at her. Destroying her claw constructs that she tries to block with, then narrowly avoiding that feral Meloka's flying kick. You then feel THE GOAT's focus turn from you, its eyes focusing on that Meloka instead. Then, others arrive a moment later, King Vegeta and a Broly, both still masked as well blaze past you. The two male Patrollers rush to meet their charges, fists clashing as the four men begin to fight. And bringing up the rear is a Broly, your power having transformed him into a full Berserker God rushes past, grabbing both Majins' heads in his hands, driving both into the wall of the crater.

Leaving you an open path, which you take, sheathing your dagger as you fly. Kicking up into the air, you fly up the cliff face and land in front of the portal, where you know the Supreme Kai of Time and Trunks are waiting. For only a moment you hesitate, then taking a deep breath you step into the portal. As you do, everything feels wrong, up is down, hot is cold, light is dark, but then the moment's over as you step through. Standing before a strange gathering, many of the seats of the event empty. But at the front of the group is Chronoa, standing between Trunks and the redheaded woman. She's wearing a white dress and Trunks a black suit, you immediately recognizing what's happening. And can't help but grin a bit at the irony.

“-ould not be married? Speak now, or forever hol-” Chronoa was asking the dozen or so people gathered, freezing in place when she sees that it's YOU that stepped through the portal into her inner sanctum. Both Trunks and Hyoka, seeing her reaction turn as well, shortly after the gathered beings, most of whom aren't warriors judging from their nearly nonexistant powerlevels turn too, everyone seeing you.
“Well well well, isn't this funny.” you say, clenching your fists. “This time, it's YOUR wedding. Guess it's time I returned the favor. HRRRAAAAAAAA!!”

And with a roar you let your ki explode out, aura blazing as you power up. Your aura explodes out with such force the empty chairs are thrown about, as well as several of the occupied ones, women screaming in terror. Trunks, however, doesn't back down, changing to his uniform with a flash as he taps something on his wrist. Then, to your surprise he doesn't take on the godly power you've seen before, but this time takes on the even stronger divine power of Super Saiyan Blue.

“Karn. Somehow, I knew you'd come.” he says simply, hand going to the sword on his back as his divine aura blazes. Today's the day, you're finally going to pay him back for all the family events he's ruined.

But how do you do this?
>Rush and attack, beat him down with your raw power like always
>Energy Body then rush and attack, just because you've taken him down before doesn't mean you need to underestimate him
>Keep your distance at first and feel his new power out, while also using your energy attack to try and thin the crowd. The less of them that are present, the less likely it'll be someone gets you with any surprising cheap shots
>Red Dawn, obliterate him, Hyoka, and try to take down Chronoa in one fell swoop. You'll be wide open afterwards, at least for a moment but this should at the very least weaken them all
>Guided Eye Beams and Scatter Beams, try and take him down quickly and efficiently. Once he's done, you still have the Time Kai to deal with

But instead of charging directly at him, like he was probably expecting, you instead leap straight into the air, gathering your ki into both hands. He sees this, eyes widening as he immediately kicks off the ground up at you. Clearly intending to stop you, no doubt sensing your intentions.

“Now it's YOUR TURN!!” you roar, firing off your Scattershots one right after the other. The two orbs split into hundreds, Trunks deflecting and cutting through dozens but can't stop all those not aimed at him, your blasts covering the ground beneath you in explosions. You sense nearly a half dozen of the powerlevels disappear entirely, the weaklings no doubt caught by the blasts as others' strengths soar, you seeing at least two Super Saiyan aura's blazing through the smoke, as well as Hyoka's blazing Kaio-Ken and another divine blue aura.
“BASTARD!!” he roars, closing the distance between you and swinging his blade in a downward, killing blow. “HOW DARE you?!”
“How dare I? How Dare - I -?!” you roar, dodging his downward swing with the Su Ma, twisting counterclockwise past his blade and striking him in the jaw with a right hook, followed by grabbing his face with your left hand and pitching him back down at the ground at the Time Kai. Who moves out of the way, narrowly avoiding getting hit by her number one attack dog. “How many of MY family's events have you bastards ruined? How many other peoples' weddings have you destroyed? How many families have you time bastards killed for your so-called Justice?!”

Then, as he hits the ground you gather your ki into a Super Ki Javelin, drawing it back and launching that massive spear down as well. But it isn't just a javelin, combining it with the principles behind your Scattershot cause it to split into hundreds of normal-sized Energy Javelins. Your Scatter Javelins rain down on the ground below, Trunks again using his blade to deflect those that would hit him while Chronoa makes a Barrier around herself and the other survivors, shielding them. But your attacks still pierce into her shield about halfway, and with a smirk snap your fingers. Detonating all of the javelins that Trunks hadn't cut down at once, destroying Chronoa's barrier and filling where it was with explosions.

“HYOKA!” he cries out, turning as he senses the shield fall and watching as they're all consumed by explosions. With your ki sense you can tell most of those inside the shield didn't die from it, but you definitely injured the weaker ones. “You-?! YOU BASTARD!!”

He roars, blitzing you far faster than you've ever seen him move. On pure instinct you manage to dodge the wild overhand right swing, twisting clockwise out around the blade and getting him on the right side of his jaw with a good left jab. But Trunks doesn't even flinch, taking his momentum into a spinning horizontal slash, forcing you to fly back away from his strike once again. But it wasn't just a slash, as his sword fires some of that divine energy in a Death Slash-like attack right for your chest.

“Barrier!” you exclaim, quickly creating your shield to deal with it. But that's when you see it: his attack cuts straight THROUGH your shield! “WHAT?!”

His attack cuts almost halfway through your Barrier, stopping it only as the blade slashes into your chest. It doesn't penetrate deep enough to be a seriously life-threatening injury, but you feel the sting as the blade stops against your breastbone.

“Kah?!” you exclaim, jerking backwards on reflex off the blade as your blood sprays over it. Only for Trunks to again close the distance, swinging his sword down in another two handed overhand strike, aiming to bisect you as your shield and his blade projectile both begin fading. “HRRAAAAAA!!”

As Trunks swings down you step into the strike, catching his attack by the crossguard with your left palm, while you grab both his hands with your right. Only for the Time Patroller to snarl, driving his right knee at your nose. But you defeat this strike by pulling his arms down by your left side, twisting his body as he refuses to let go of his sword. Only for you to bring your left knee up into his lower ribs, feeling them crunch from the impact.

“Tch!” he seethes through clenched teeth at the pain as you gather your own ki, releasing him so your next attack can create distance. “Wha-?”
“BAAAAAAA!!” you then roar, firing a Mouth Blast at point-blank to send him crashing back to the crater-pocked ground. Then, throwing your arms wide you gather your ki, slamming your wrists together and firing one of your stronger finishing attacks. “FINAL FLASH!!”

You unleash a storm of golden ki in a nigh-unstoppable wave, your attack bursting forth from your hands and crashing down. Both upon Trunks as he gets to his feet, sword held defensively but again against Chronoa's Barrier, shielding the remaining weaker fighters from your blast. You can feel his energy rising, his divine might swelling as he resists your power, managing to push the attack off himself. And once you fell that you end the blast, watching the smoke clear to examine your handiwork. Revealing Trunks, sleeves blasted off his coat but still standing tall, panting a bit from the exertion of resisting your attack.

“Haah, haah, haa-tch!” he says, dropping down to the ground, clearly hurting from taking that attack head-on. And while you have to commend him for resisting it, for surviving the single strongest attack you've ever hit him with, this fight's over. So you drop down out of the air, and start walking over to him, ready to finish this. “D-Dammit. Even a-after everything? It's still? Not enough?
“It's over.” you say, staring down at him as he struggles to get back up to his feet.
“TRUUUUUUNKS!!” Hyoka calls out, powering up to her fullest and charging you. Crimson aura blazing she tries to hit you with a heavy right cross, but you catch her fist easily causing the boy's eyes to shoot open. “Screw fighting fair, or 'what's right'! KILL THIS BASTARD!”

“Enough.” you say, powering up your Eye Beams and shooting them straight through her body, piercing through her head and neck to shoot somewhere out her back, dropping her rapidly-dying body on the ground by Trunks. “This ends today.”

But as her life fades away, Trunks staring at her corpse in horror, you feel something in him start to change. His power, which was just a second ago nearly burned out returns in a blazing rush. His aura blazes unlike anything you've seen from him before, the sheer force of this deeper, darker Blue actually pushing you back across the ground as he screams in rage and pain. You hear Trunks' voice crack as his hair starts flashing brighter, doubled over in pain as his body starts lifting into the air. His aura starts wavering, shooting wavy rays of power into the air as his might rapidly, dramatically surges.

“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” he cuts loose with one final, agonized scream, eyes flashing blindingly bright as his power explodes out in a blindingly bright burst of aura. Looks like he's not quite finished yet.

Alright, so I’ve got a schedule change/update. As of right now, I won’t be able to run this Sunday as SUPPOSEDLY my old dnd group is getting back together on every 2nd sunday of the month. Which leaves me in a conundrum. We can either have just the Saturday session this weekend, ending sometime early sunday morning then running the full next weekend. Or we can skip this weekend, I’ll have 2 intermissions out from now to the episode resuming the weekend of Jan 20/21. Which would you all prefer, leaving this one open to popular demand as I’m not sure which would be better.
