The next day, you start rifle training. It's only natural; these guys need to be on the battlefield ASAP, so the course is "accelerated", "focused" and so on.
Your platoon is presented with an assortment of weapons. When you see the AKs on the table, you feel a bit of nostalgia as you remember your time at Azov summer camps. They may have more than a few bits of rust on them, but you do know how to use them.
The other thing that catches your eye is the mishmash of various unfamiliar guns. Some look kind of like AKs, some like ARs, others look like they're from a videogame. You don't know what's what, but hey, you can use training to try and figure it out, right?

The mongoloid is the first to speak. "Bull fucking shit. She's not gonna do it. This is a waste of time, let's just kill her and be done with this nazi filth"
The white man nods for a moment, then shakes his head. "Yeah, you're probably right, Aytal. Still, maybe she means it. And if she doesn't, then I'm sure she will be FOUND OUT AND DEALT WITH". He shoots you a glance as he says that last part.
He makes a call, and after a long time, you are whisked away to be screened and then trained as a double agent. You feel like you've gotten away with something, but at the same time, you feel like you've just dug your grave even deeper...

I'm going to leave the quest here for now. I may pick it up again early spring or summer, time permitting. If anyone else wants to pick it up, that's fine.
The plan for the next "arc" is more or less that our heroine Yaroslava will be vetted very thoroughly, then receive infiltrator training and be sent back into the 'kraine. That's about it as far as planning goes.
