After gaining all seven Dark Dragon Balls, thanks in no small part to Karn and his family's efforts, Mechikabura prepares for his revival: the Dark King's return is nigh! And with their powers gained in the effort to combat the God of Destruction, Lord Beerus, Karn and Meloka seek to master the strength of gods in preparation for the coming final battle between the Time Breakers and the Time Patrol. However, despite the PTO now comfortably ruling the majority of the known universe, threats still lurk there in the shadows. Beings who, for their own reasons, seek revenge against the Saiyan race. Will the Saiyans prevail? Or will their efforts all be in vain, overcome by their enemies past, present, and future?

You the players control Karn, the Berserker God with the power to fight against gods and other divine beings. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, he has now become the strongest Saiyan of his time. Wielding the Berserker Soul, a power born of rage and hatred now combined with That Which Should Not Be, Karn has gained powers suited to facing the divine, and even those who wield the powers of Order, Law, and even Time itself. But will this newfound strength be enough to overcome the threats headed your way? Only time will tell, and your choices could be the difference between victory and defeat, winning and losing, even existence and not.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After defeating the godly power stored in a ring-wielding Sinestro on Dreadzone, Karn and Meloka returned home to find their youngest, Okira, had taken on the Berserker power. So, after calming her down and letting her run her power out, Aku appeared asking for help. Karn and Meloka obliged, learning of Demongo's return and capture of one of Aku's own daughters. The Saiyans then put together a team, venturing forth into the realm of the dead only to find the Demon King Dabura's castle under siege! Karn jumped to his aid while sending everyone else, minus Ubo who went to battle another dead Kryptonian, down into the castle in search of Demongo. Fighting through several returning foes and even Karn's own father, the revived warriors all turned to smoke as Chilli cut them off with his crystal magic. And as we rejoin Karn, you have just teleported yourself and the Demon King inside the castle, coming face-to-face with an unexpected surprise.

“Well well well, isn't this quite the little reunion.” Babidi, the wizard responsible for Majin Buu's reawakening says, grinning maliciously at you and Dabura as he stands beside Demongo standing before no doubt Dabura's throne with a very familiar clown in the air, both with very specific symbols on their foreheads. “I've been waiting a long time for this, Dabura. For all these years of torment you've put me through, it is finally time for my revenge!”
“Dad, he got mom.” your son says worriedly, eyes not leaving Carnival Forever Requiem. Who, seeing you look at him does pale a bit. No doubt remembering what you'd done to him before. “She's trapped in there.”
“Where are Leyas and Sarada?” you ask, glancing to him to see your son's pained expression before turning back to the clown Stand. “I see. Well, looks like I'll have to kill you a second time, Requiem.”

“Ohoho, ehehe, the lunkhead thinks that he can kill meee!” Carnival Forever Requiem says, clearly enjoying itself.
“You won't be going anywhere!” Babidi snaps at you. “You're going to stay right there, and allow Demongo to absorb your soul.”
“And why the hell would I agree to that?” you ask, the wizard grinning evilly as the clown answers.
“Because if you refuse, if you fight back; that trio's lives will become my snack!” Carnival Forever Requiem laughs, clearly pleased with himself. “ Eeeehehehehehee!”

“Dad, I'm sorry. I underestimated him, and he reversed Mom's technique back on her when I was distracted.” your son says, sounding defeated. “And he got Leyas and Sarada before we even knew he was here.”
“They're not dead, just trapped within this fellow's world. A rather unpleasant place to be, if you ask me.” Babidi says as he gestures towards the sentient Stand, genuinely shivering for a moment. “I would know.”

>>5851387
“So, you betrayed me as well?” Dabura asks the clown, surprising you. Wait, the demon king had Carnival Forever Requiem on HIS side?! “What did they promise you?”
“Isn't it obvious, can't you see? Revenge is what he's promised me.” the evil Stand says, still rhyming despite his voice changing from carefree and jovial to low and dangerous. “I side with these jokers, give them what they want. And I get the little one, 'till his head I've popped.”

“You want the son to have your way with, to get revenge on his father who killed you?” Dabura asks, CFR nodding enthusiastically. “I see. Then I take it I have nothing more you could want more than this?”
“Nothing at all, revenge against these Saiyans is all that I seek.” Carnival Forever Requiem says, grinning at Dabura. “Their suffering is the greatest treasure any day of the week!”
“It is useless to resist! You shall all suffer for the parts you played in making my life hell!” Babidi declares to you, your son and the Demon King Dabura.

What do you do?
>Rush and attack Carnival Forever Requiem with your Stand, destroy it if you can or if not at least enter the Stand's dimension to rescue everyone and then kill it from within
>Rush down Babidi, try and kill him before he can use his magic and stop empowering the others
>Instant Transmission behind Babidi, but instead of going after him attack Demongo with Divine Dragon Force. Stop him first to prevent an army from being summoned, then you can deal with the other two
>Telepathically ask Chilli how he wants to handle this, he's seen what they all can do and knows his limits. He'll have a more rational plan while your thoughts are fueled by rage in this form

“GRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, exploding off the ground towards the Stand clown while your Stand appears around your right fist. “DIVINE DRAGON FORCE!!”
“GRRRRROOOOOAAAAR!!” your Stand bellows as it appears around your fist, you closing the distance in a blink and swinging at the clown. However, the instant you and your Stand hit, your fist seemingly goes straight through the clown. And instead of hitting anything solid, you feel yourself being dragged down INTO it.
“Hehehee, you can't hit meee!” the clown taunts, but you smirk in his face. And instead of pulling back, you instead dive IN. Allowing the clown's abilitiy to pull you into its realm. “Wait, what?”

“Chilli, hold your own until I get your mother back with the others!” you call to him, disappearing into Carnival Requiem Forever's realm. Appearing back into the world you'd broken free of once before. “Alright, where are you?”
“You really wish to battle me?” the clown shouts, that same statue from before animating and swinging a massive fist down. You leap up and over the punch, only for another version of the clown to appear, swinging a right directly at your face. His punch hits square at where your brow and nose meet, but doesn't even budge you. And before it can react more than widening its eyes in shock, you drive your Stand-clad right into its guts and up through its head. Killing the copy of the Stand, then look around to see where the Stand's heart is. You have to find it quick, to end this as soon as possible.

“You really think you can kill me, that you'd be my end again?” the clown asks, reappearing out of the void before you and obscuring your view of the world below. “That I wouldn't adjust my world to better combat my bane?”
“And you're still as predictable as ever.” you reply, turning fully to face it then, grab the clown by the neck, pulling it out of your line of sight to reveal the Stand's heart far below. “Now get out of my way and let me end you already.”

Then without hesitation you blitz downward, faster than the clown can even create its army of copies to stop you and swing.

“Divine Dragon Force, end him.” you say, right Stand-shrouded right fist punching straight into the clown's heart. Its eyes widen in shock as you hit it, looking up from where you were in the air to where you're standing now, fist punched into it.
“UNDERSTOOD.” your Stand answers, green flaming eyes glowing brighter for a moment as the Stand's heart starts disintegrating from the point of impact.

“But...How...?” it asks, clearly not understanding how you'd done it. But you feel no need to reply, allowing the Stand to die confused. As it vanishes the world around you crumbles, then with a flash you're back in the underworld. Alongside your wife and your friends, all falling through the air a moment before catching yourselves. Looking around, you see that Chilli is down on a knee before Babidi, entire body trembling as a dozen or so Sangheili attack Dabura from all sides while Demongo sits in his throne, looking rather pleased with himself.

“CHILLI!” Meloka shouts out, but your son doesn't move. Immediately sensing that something's wrong, your wife tries to fly down towards him, only for a wall of crystal to suddenly shoot up between them, cutting her off. “What the hell?”
“GYAAAAAH!” Dabura shouts in pain as one of the Sangheili find their mark, sword piercing through his guts. But Dabura's tough, grabbing the splitjaw by the arm and cleaving it off with his own magical sword before whirling around, conjuring his spear and impaling another through the chest. He won't last much longer, but will clearly fight to the very end. Yet as you have this thought, suddenly your instincts warn you that something's wrong. Very, very wrong.

Then, before any of you can react the wall your son'd creates grows dozens of spikes, firing them out like your wife's Bladestorm. With only a split-second to act you cover your face, taking several hits to the arms, chest and legs. It grows more and more, firing them at you all and knocking you all out of the sky. Being furthest back the twins are able to guard themselves, but your wife takes it the worst, getting one of the larger spears straight through the guts.

“MELOKA!” you shout as she falls, landing on her side as you fall down to your feet, the wall shattering to reveal a nightmare. Babidi's emblem, blazing crimson on your son's forehead.
“Hehehehehahahahahaaahaahaa!” Babidi cackles gleefully, pointing towards you all. “Kill them Chilli! KILL THEM ALL!”

How do you handle this?

“Chilli! Babidi, you're going to pay for this!” you snarl, feeling the world tremble around you as your anger hits critical mass. Your vision tunnels down on the wizard, nearly losing control of yourself for the first time since combining the Berserker Souls together. But then you take a deep breath, calming yourself and focusing your anger. You need to free your son from that bastard's control first, then with all of you together can finish him and Demongo off. So, with a thought draw your dagger your son'd made you up to your left hand with telekinesis, leather-wrapped bone handle slapping your palm. In your transformed state, the blade is little larger than your pinkie as you crouch, ready to leap into battle.

“Protect me Chilli! Destroy Karn!” Babidi orders, taking a step then two back away from you.
“Understood.” Chilli replies, drawing his dual crystal swords. You feel a chill crawl up your spine as they begin radiating with familiar, deathly energy. Seems you're going to have to best him with his god-slaying power. Then, without hesitation he charges, firing off a backhanded left slash followed by a right thrust aimed at your heart. Bringing your Stand-covered right forward you block the slash, then grab your son's wrist and hold his arm back. Leaving him wide open, focusing your ki into the dagger's point as you thrust it up into his forearm. Your blade hits his exposed flesh, the blade flashing with blinding light. After a second the light fades, you looking to your son's face and see his blank expression turning to one of confusion before he winces, trying to pull his impaled arm back. “Gah?!”

“Look at me.” you tell him, your son's confused eyes going to your own. But you look to his forehead, the “M” mark on his head fading away. To which you nod, withdrawing the blade from his flesh. He winces, ending his sword in his left hand and putting it to his injury, sealing it with his magical crystals. “Good, you're back.”
“What?” No, this is impossible!” Babidi says, looking from you to Chilli as he turns, you both staring down the wizard. “How? You stab him with that little toothpick and it breaks my control?!”
“That's my Spell Breaker. Made of pure dragon bone, to sever any spell.” your son tells him, drawing his own from within his robes. Then, before the wizard can say anything else he pitches it, blade streaking through the air and impaling him in the chest. He then extends his hand out towards it, the blade starting to glow. “And now you're done. As long as I focus my ki through the dagger, you can't even cast a spell. It's over.”

“Impossible! Papara papaaa!” he shouts, leveling both hands at your son. But instead of firing any sort of magic at him, instead the dagger flashes with blinding light for an instant. “Giyaah?!”

“Dad, now!” your son shouts, you understanding immediately. Kicking off the ground at full power you surge forward, slamming your Stand-wrapped right fist through his guts underneath the dagger.
“Divine Dragon Force, end him for good.” you say, your Stand's flaming eyes flashing bright green.
“PERISH.” your Stand says, and Babidi begins disintegrating as well.

“What? No no, nonono! NOOOOooooo-!” he shouts, fear in his eyes as his body is destroyed completely. Leaving nothing behind, erasing Babidi from even the world of the dead.
“Good job.” you tell your Stand, who nods before disappearing. You then turn to your son, who rushes over to his downed mother. Only to see her sitting up, the injury she'd taken already healed. Your mother hugs him to her as he apologizes, you turning and seeing how the battle progresses. Only for Demongo to be sent flying, smashing through the demon king's throne and sent crashing through your son's crystals sealing the hallway beyond.

“Take that you little shit!” Sarada snarls as Leyas smashes two Sangheili together, mashing them together into the dark grey soul wisps, which follow after Demongo. “That was for my left arm!”
“Impossible!” Demongo shouts from where he'd fallen, throwing up dozens of skulls and firing his power into them. Transforming them into several more Sangheili, as well as a familiar pair of assassins.
“TWO HEARTS!” one of the Sangheili shouts, his Stand copying and transforming into you once again.
“EVEN IT UP!” another shouts, his powerlevel surging up to match your own as an emerald aura blazes around him.

“Defend me, my warriors!” Demongo calls, then to your surprise starts fleeing down the hall.
“Stop him! Do not let that insolent Abyssal escape into the Demon Realm, you won't be able to follow him!” Dabura calls, trying to rise but dropping down to a knee. His powerlevel has faded a bit, no doubt due to the damage he took and the blood loss. Yet still manages to get to his feet, conjuring his spear and launching it after Demongo. Only for the Sangheili who copied your power to interfere, grabbing the weapon out of the air and launching it back at him. You dash over, deflecting the weapon aside with your bracer and saving Dabura's life as he drops back down to the ground. “Gaah!”

But what do you do now? He's trying to escape, and if he gets away you won't be able to follow him. You have to stop him before he can get away.

“Chilli, don't let him escape!” you shout, blazing your aura and charging at the mass of Sangheili and other spirits. Both the copy of you and the Sangheili who copied your strength charge right for you, you swinging both fists forward and smashing one into each of theirs. Despite both warriors matching your strength, the three of you all stop each other in place. Meloka blazes past you, slipping under the copy you under its legs and attacking the Stand user with her dual blades. Before he's even brought his own blade to bear your wife's cut him down into half a dozen pieces, the Stand copying you vanishes as the wielder dies. At the same time Leyas and Sarada leap over your shoulders, dropping dive kicks down into the mess of warriors. Kicking up enough of a distraction that your son dashes straight through, in hot pursuit of the Abyssal demon.

“RRRAAAAA!!” the Sangheili who copied your strength roars, drawing his right back with its energy blade drawn, swinging down at your neck. Focusing your ki into the dragon bone blade still held in your left, you raise it up, catching the Sangheili's sword and deflecting it aside while stepping in, driving your right into its guts and causing it to cough up blood. “Gluuaaack!”
“You may copy my power, but you're not fast enough to use it.” you reply, following up your right with a rising left, driving the blade up and into the smaller being's head through the bottom of its jaw. The Sangheili tries to cry out, letting out a haunting wail as it turns to smoke. Only for your instincts to scream at you in warning, you turning and catching a much-smaller hand with your left by the wrist. “And you're still not stealthy enough to get me by surprise.”

“But just stealthy enough to trap you.” the elder Zoldyck replies with a smirk, conjuring his ki into a dragon around his left and thrusting it at you.
“RRRRAAAAAAA!” his construct snarls as you activate your Unmovable Energy Body, teeth sinking into your armor. But they don't pierce deep enough to draw blood, much less hurt you. However, his son, the much larger Silva then jumps, lightning crackling around his body as he again creates his dual orbs, swinging them at you from either side. You open the dragon's maw, spreading it open and leaping up between Silva's blasts, driving your knee into his face with so much force his head simply explodes. His energy vanishes as he returns to the more smoky form, trailing off after Chilli as you turn back to the elder Zoldyck, his energy dragon streaking up at you once more. You catch it by the fangs, stopping the dragon in place then lifting it, swinging the creature and attached Zoldyck around overhead once, twice, then swinging it at the remains of Dabura's throne.

He crashes back-first into the ancient-seeming stone, you ending your Energy Body and throwing one of your Energy Javelins down. It impales him in the chest, the elder assassin sighing out before your spear explodes, obliterating him and the demon king's throne. You then look to your wife, seeing her throwing one of her Ki Blades and impaling a Sangheili in the face while Leyas tears another's arms off. Sarada, meanwhile, drives her fist through the last one's chest, ripping out its heart in a spray of blood. They all turn to smoke, streaking off after Demongo.

“Come on, we gotta go!” your wife says, you nodding but turn back to Dabura. The demon king having pushed himself up to his feet, leaning on his conjured spear.
“Go. Don't let him escape!” Demon King Dabura orders, you nodding and raising your right hand to your forehead, focusing on your son's ki as everyone else chases him down the hall despite his ki having gone deeper down into the castle. It takes you a moment's focus, teleporting to your son's energy. Only to appear beside him, staring down not only Demongo, but a massive set of double doors. Only for your son to level a hand at him, powerlevel dropping significantly as he gives so much power he reverts back to his base form.

“You're going nowhere! I call you forth, Guardians of the Gateway!” your son shouts, rainbow light suddenly bursting forth. It is so bright it is physically painful, causing both you and Demongo to recoil in pain. “Suijin of the Seas! Kazejin of the Winds! And Sanga of the Thunder, I summon thee! Perform your duty, and protect the gates!”
“What?!” Demongo exclaims as three distinct form begin materializing, only to combine together, forming a monster the same size as the doorway before the light fades and radiating with power you've rarely felt before. Revealing this combined guardian, it standing between Demongo and the gate behind it. This being's strength is titanic, dwarfing even your Berserker God strength even as it towers over you all. “I-Impossible! How could YOU summon THAT!?”

“I'm a Reaper, remember?” your son asks, smirking before falling. You catch him with your left, holding your son to you and keeping him from falling as the massive creature stares down at Demongo. Who looks from you to the guardian and back, clearly worried and measuring his options. “Thanks Dad. It took everything I had left, but he can't escape now.”

But what do you do now?
>Focus on preventing Demongo's escape back down the hallway he and Chilli'd come, let the monster your son summoned handle him
>Set Chilli down and take Demongo down yourself, rip him apart with your bare hands
>Wrap your son up in your arms, curl up around him and activate your Energy Body to protect both of you. Both from Demongo and the monster Chilli summoned forth from the gate
>Guided Eye Beams, cripple Demongo so it can't flee and leave it for the monster to finish off
>Pour energy into your son, empower him so he can keep going despite burning his ki to summon that giant monstrosity

“But we're in range.” you say, taking your son and dropping to a knee. You curl up around him, activating your Energy Body. Carefully avoiding crushing your son in your arms or against your chest, you shield his tired form with your own body and your energy as the Abyssal demon Demongo tries to flee. But he doesn't cross half the distance between you and him before the conjured monster attacks, firing a torrent of water, wind, and electricity combined into a spiral. You watch, shielding your son as the blast consumes Demongo, blasting him apart. But it doesn't stop, the blast headed right for you as well. Gritting your teeth, you ready yourself to take the blast, hardening your Energy Body even further into your Unmovable Energy Body. And as you do, the titanic attack strikes you.

Immediately you feel it, the attack shredding your Energy Body all around you. But you hold firm, taking the strike straight against your right shoulder and arm instead of letting it get anywhere close to your son.

“GRRRRRR!” you seethe through clenched teeth, the magical attack scalding your flesh. The electricity courses through your body as the wind and water crashes against you, pushing you back despite your Unmovable Energy Body, the force behind the Guardian's attack forcing you right out of the circular room. However, as it does, the attack suddenly stops. Blood pours from the hundreds of cuts in your shoulder and arm onto the ground as you end your technique, rising up to your feet while still holding your son in your left hand. The creature doesn't react, simply standing there and staring at you both. Chilli then speaks, voice a bit shaky but clear.
“Your work is done. You may return to your rest.” Chilli tells the creature, it releasing a deep roar of three distinct voices. The rainbow light returns, engulfing the monster as well as the entire round gate room, glowing brighter and brighter until it is nearly blinding. But then it's over, no sign of the monster who guarded the gate remaining. Except for the damage its attack had done the ground from where you'd started to where you are now, leaving a nearly foot-deep trench at the deepest. “Phew. Thanks Dad.”

“Of course. But what in the hell was that thing?” you ask him as three distinctive powerlevels rapidly approach, you turning just in time to see Meloka, Leyas and Sarada appear from around the corner.
“KARN!” Meloka shouts, your wife seeing the damage you'd sustained and rushing over worriedly. “What happened?”
“Ask our son. He summoned, well. SOMETHING. And it obliterated Demongo with a single shot.” you tell her. “It did this to me through my strongest Energy Body after going through him.”
“Hot damn, what in the world did you bring out?” Sarada asks your boy. “And where did it go?”

“Wh-What's going on? Where am I?” a woman's voice calls, you all turning towards the gate to see a familiar woman standing where Demongo had been when he disappeared, her body pitch black except for her face. “Where is that bastard, Demongo?”

“We've got a lot to catch up on. Come, we'll tell you everything on the way.” you tell her, trying to raise your right arm. But it is too badly damaged from the blast, so instead you simply turn back towards the hall. “But first, what was that thing Chilli?”
“That was the Gate Guardian, or rather Guardians. Elemental beings tasked with preserving order by preventing unauthorized travel between realms.” he says as you still hold him, the now-five of you walking through the hallway back towards the Demon King's throne room. “Their strength is quite impressive, necessary to defend the gates. Long ago, the Demon Realm tried to conquer the mortal world. And while they were beaten back, many lives on both sides were lost so the gods put defenses in place, defenders strong enough to prevent such a thing ever again.”

“But if that's true, then how'd we get through?” Leyas asks, pointing with a thumb over his shoulder back at Ashi. “Does her dad have permission to travel through the realms or something?”
“Not quite. Aku is, well... Different.” your son says, clearly unsure how to formulate his thoughts. You hearing a hint of nervousness, no doubt not wanting to upset the so-called 'Master of Masters' daughter. “Speaking of, your dad asked us to come get you. Or, rather he asked my dad.”
“And my wife and I gathered everyone here to retrieve you.” you tell her, glancing back to Ashi. Noticing that her gaze is transfixed on your arm, on the damage the Guardians Chilli summoned had done to you. “It was one hell of a fight, but it's over now.”

“I see. Thank you all, for defeating that traitorous bastard.” Ashi says, bowing her head as she walks. “I was arrogant and thought I could absorb him, to take his powers for my own. But, instead he absorbed me, and used my power to escape my father's eternal prison. If I hadn't been so foolish, none of this would have happened.”
“Cheer up, it's not all bad.” your son says, yawning before continuing. “At least we got to come down here into the underworld and erase several problems. With Babidi and Carnival Forever Requiem killed in the underworld, their very souls are now dead. We won't have to deal with them ever again.”

Yet, despite your son's assertion, as he says this you get the feeling you're not done. Despite their souls being erased, you still have a gut feeling that you're not truly finished with either of them.

Following Leyas and Sarada, you all make your way out of the mess of hallways, returning to the Demon King's throne room. Only to see another familiar face standing by the Demon King, black tattoos standing out in stark contrast to his pale skin.

“You.” you say, recognizing the sorcerer who'd attacked you and Raven trying to unleash that divine being trapped within the amulet. He sees you and simply smirks, turning back to Dabura.
“There. Your injuries have been restored, my king.” the snake says, dropping down to a knee. “Happy to have been of service.”
“Excellent work, Quan Chi. You have done well.” Demon King Dabura says, turning his gaze to you. “So, I take it Demongo has been defeated? Then there is one last matter of business to attend to: you destroyed my throne.”

Well? How do you respond?

“Oh, yeah I guess I did.” you say, looking over to the remains of it. Remembering impaling Zeno Zoldyck to it before your javelin detonated and killed him again. You sigh out, looking to your son. “Hey, Chilli. Can you do me a favor and make him another one?”
“Yeah, if you wouldn't mind giving me a boost.” he says, looking up to you. To which you power back down to your base form, sending your ki into his body. You feel his energy rise back up by the second, Chilli leaping out of your arms and to the ground once he feels you've given him enough ki. He then rolls his neck, turning his attention to Dabura. “Which would you prefer? A new throne of my crystals, or your own throne restored?”

“You can bring my old throne back?” he asks Chilli, seemingly genuinely surprised. “How?”
“Haven't you heard? I wield Disparity.” your son says, conjuring orbs of light and dark around his opposite hands. “If you want it back, I can restore it to how it was before this battle.”
“Very well. If you would restore my throne to how it was, I would greatly appreciate it.” Demon King Dabura says. Your son nods to him, then turns his attention to the remains of the throne. Your son weaves his orbs around before pressing them together, the light and dark energies mixing and swirling around into a hypnotic spiral before he fires the merged magics at the throne.

“Chaos Magic: Time Destruction!” your son shouts as the magic strikes the ancient stone. The entire throne is consumed by his blast, the spiraling energies transforming into a uniform grey. Everyone watches silently as your son works, you seeing sweat beading on the side of his forehead, arms tremble as he keeps it going. Then, with a sigh ends the magic spell and drops to all fours, the orb disappearing and revealing the throne as it was before Demongo had been knocked through it and your son had covered it in crystals. “Haaaaah, that took a bit more out of me than I thought. I used up too much magic in the fighting.”
“Most impressive. I have never seen one wield the power of Chaos so effectively. Especially for one so young.” Quan Chi says, walking up and appraising your son's work. “Using the Dark to isolate the throne in time, then drawing the very light from it in that space. Not the most efficient method, but now the throne won't simply re-crumble when time advances. Your spell is aptly named, destroying the very time of the throne to reset it to a previous state. You are a most dangerous archwizard, Chilli son of Karn.

“Heh, thanks.” your son says as he pushes himself upright, staggering back a half step before regaining his balance. “If I wasn't running on empty I could revert the whole castle to how it was before the battle. But, when I leave this realm, the rest of my crystals should crack and shatter, vanishing after a few hours.”

“Most impressive, Reaper Chilli son of Karn.” Dabura says, the demon king himself walking up and placing a hand on his shoulder. “For that, I am in your debt. Should you ever need my assistance once, you need but ask.”
“Thank you Dabura, King of the Demon Realm.” your son replies, both men shallowly bowing to each other before Dabura turns to face you.
“And I must thank you as well, Karn. For aiding me in combat, bringing your allies here and assisting me of your own volition, I award you the same boon. Should you ever require my assistance, you need only ask.”

“Thank you, Dabura.” you reply, the two of you not bowing but instead nodding slightly to each other. Then, he turns his attention to Ashi.
“Tell your father that if he knows what's good for him, he'll keep his minions under control. Or I shall send some of MY, let's say, undesirables his way.” he tells her, tone noticeably harder. To which Ashi doesn't even blink.
“I shall relay your message.” she answers blankly, not even blinking until he turns his attention from her back to his throne. Chilli reaches out, drawing his staff out of the crystals where he'd presumably stuck it as well as the Moonlight Greatsowrd, grasping his weapons before turning to the gate, leveling his staff at it. And with a tremendous crack the crystals shatter, opening the gate back to the underworld.

The rest of your trip is uneventful, everyone flying back to the gate where you see a crowd gathered, Aku having stretched through the portal himself and standing guard over it. The other beings are hesitant to approach him despite clearly wanting to escape the underworld, the Abyssal's eyes lighting up as he sees your group. Or, more specifically, his daughter.

“ASHI!!” he shouts, stretching one of his arms out to her and grasping her, pulling the girl into a one-armed hug to his chest. “You're okay!”
“I'm sorry Father, it's all my fault.” she says, burying her face in his chest. “I was too arrogant, if I wasn't then I'd have never gone down there!”
“Hush now, it's all over. We're going home.” he tells her, you seeing Chilli look down as she talks for some reason. “Everyone, I thank you for your assistance. Let us g-”
“Now, hold on just a second.” a familiar voice calls, you turning and seeing your father flying up, stopping a few feet from you all. He looks you over, noticing your arm then smirks, holding out his right hand on purpose. To which you grit your teeth through the pain and slowly manage to raise your own right, clasping his hand in your own. He gives you a wolfish grin at this, nodding once. “Good job, son.”

You have no words, just pulling your old man into your embrace a moment. Seeing him again like that was rough, having to do what you did. But he'd have kicked your ass if you hadn't done what needed to be done, regardless of powerlevels. Neither of you speak, then after several seconds both back off. He gives you a Saiyan salute with his one good arm, you doing the same with your injured one. He then turns his attention to the crowd, switching to his instructor voice.

“Alright, show's over! Clear out! Not one of you's getting through that portal to the mortal world, so scram!” he shouts, many of the spirits immediately clearing out. But then one of them takes shape, appearing as the first Arbiter with his right eye still scarred. He draws phantom blades, matching the ones he'd used before, but your old man's not having it. “Oh no you don't! HAAAAA!”

He fires a blast from his good hand down at the Arbiter's spirit, blasting him back and away from the gate. Aku immediately covers your group in his darkness, reminding you for a split-second like that Majin that tried absorbing your son, but then it's gone. You find yourself back on New Salda, standing there before Aku's towering figure. However, you all aren't alone, as another presence is there. New Salda's Guardian, Raven.

“Good, you're back.” she says, sounding a bit irritated. “Close it. Now.”
“Yes ma'am.” Aku replies happily, closing his hand around the portal and opening his hand back, revealing it is gone. “There, all gone.”
“And don't you ever open another portal to the underworld on MY planet again. Or, next time, we won't just be talking.” she scolds, turning to you all. Then goes a bit pale, or rather paler as she sees the state you're in. “Karn, what happened to you?”
“Just a bit of collateral damage.” you reply, telepathically showing her the guardians Chilli'd called. Her eyes go wide, turning to your son with a mixture of awe and horror. You get the feeling they're talking quite a bit, wincing as the wind blows across your damaged arm. “Guess I'd better get this taken care of.”

But how? Who do you go to to get this damage fixed?

“I'll call Caulifla, she's probably not-” your wife says, you holding up your good arm. “Karn?”
“Now hold on, let's let her be.” you say to her. “I'm going to see how those healing capsules Daiko and the other scientists have been working on are coming along. It's been awhile since I checked on them.”
“Alright, sounds like you've got this.” your son says, yawning and stretching his arms overhead. “I'm going to head on back home.”

“Of course, appreciate your help today son.” you tell him, reaching out with your left and placing it on his head, ruffling his hair through his hat. “Couldn't have done this without you.”
“Have a good night son.” Meloka says, walking up and hugging her son a moment as you take off. You fly out over the forest, heading towards the former crashed Covenant warship-turned laboratory and workshop, drawing up to it and landing before the doorway. Thankfully the guns don't open fire on you this time, and a few moments later the door opens. Revealing a familiar face.
“Karn, it's good to see-What happened?” B7 asks, the Saldaman's brows furrowing in worry. “Are we under attack?”

“No no, we're fine. I just finished helping Aku get his daughter back.” you tell him. “And I was hoping to talk with Daiko, to get one of those healing capsules for this and see how they're coming along.”
“I see. Come in, come in, let's get you taken care of.” the Saldaman says, leading you through the reception and to the elevator, taking it down into the laboratory's depths. “What got you?”
“This? It was from something Chilli summoned, to keep Demongo from escaping.” you say, gesturing to it with your left hand. “It was some sort of guardian, elemental entities created to prevent people from moving between realms when they're not supposed to. It was extremely powerful, did this to me through my Unmovable Energy Body.”

THROUGH it? That's insane.” B7 says as the elevator comes to a stop, the door opening. He leads you out into a wide room, several weaker Saiyans turning towards you. Their eyes widen as they see the shape you're in, most freezing in place. But one man doesn't freeze, instead walking swiftly over to you.
“Karn, are you alright? Otamot, get the general one of the new SENZU.” Daiko says, you feeling a brow raise in surprise. They actually managed to get the Time Patrol's healing beans?
“Sir, we used the last of the newest batch today, after the new prototype escaped.” Otamot replies, sounding extremely nervous. Clearly not wanting to upset you, he then quickly adds in. “We have several of the previous mix still, if you'd prefer to have your injury treated immediately.”

“That'll be fine.” you say to the nervous young man, then turn your focus back on Daiko. “What do you mean, Senzu? Did you all really acquire them?”
“The magic beans? No, not yet. But we've been making progress on emulating them.” he replies, turning to a table and drawing a clipboard, the typing and scribbles all over it illegible to you. “SENZU: the Self-contained ENergized Zenki Unleasher. We've been working on improving the old man's formula, but, unfortunately, haven't made a lot of progress. The newest mix saw a 10.03% increase in effectiveness, but unfortunately we're currently out of them. We have the previous improved formula, but that one was only 6.07% greater than the original.”

As he says this, the man who'd run off to get the healing items returns, holding a half dozen healing items in some sort of tray.

“Here, General. Please, help yourself.” he says, you nodding to him and looking at them while debating on how many to take. But before you can say anything, Daiko interjects.
“Judging from your injury, I'd say you'll need at least two. Perhaps three.” he says, looking from your shoulder up to your face. “I'd err on the side of caution and go for three. But take them one a a time.”

“Right.” you reply, taking the first one and popping it into your mouth. You crunch down on it, popping the seal and swallowing the healing mixture. It takes a few seconds, but then you feel it starting to work, your arm suddenly itching like crazy. Testing your arm, your movements are still painful so you take a second, consuming it as well. The itching sensation worsens, muscles tensing involuntarily, but then after a few seconds the sensation passes. You look down at your arm, and besides the blood all over your arm, it is seemingly healed. Clenching and unclenching your fist, it feels just fine you looking to Daiko and giving him a nod. “I think that did it.”
“Excellent! Now that you have-” he starts, when suddenly a warning starts blaring out over the speakers. Because of course it does.

“Attention! Attention! Project: Nido has escaped containment! Threat level: Catastrophic.” an automated voice says, you sensing the sudden tension from the weaklings in the room. All except for Daiko who sighs out, turning back to you.
“Mind helping us out once again? Seems that creature refuses to stay caged.” he tells you, taking off his glasses and wiping them off with a corner of his coat before putting them back on. “This one is the one responsible for all the injuries earlier. As well as the fatalities.”
“How many'd you lose?” you ask, turning immediately back to the elevator. But a red light appears above it, the doors sealing shut automatically. “Huh.”

“Three still in hospital, five dead. Dozens injured.” he replies, walking over to his workstation and typing furiously. “Here it is. Project: Nido.”

With a final tap of his keys he turns his monitor around, showing you a stocky purple lizard-like creature with giant ears and spines down its back with a large single horn on its head. Then the image switches to what appears to be test footage, the creature somehow shooting both lightning and fire from the horn at different targets, then even a pale beam so cold it freezes the third target solid and encases it in ice.And without hesitation it charges horn-first at the third target, ramming into and shattering it.

“What in the hell have you madmen been cooking up in here?” you wonder aloud, the Head Scientist chuckling to himself.
“Can't always rely on you to do all the work. One day, these creatures will be a great asset to our defense.” he says, then adds. “After we've perfected them, tested their capabilities on Planet Tatsu, and readied them for war. But, for now we need you to subdue the creature. Kill it if you must, but please try and take it down non-lethally.
“Let me go with you. I can-” B7 starts, Daiko interrupting immediately.

“No. I already told you, you're no match for it. Its horn, claws, and even tail can tear you apart.” Daiko says sternly. “I'm not saying you're not powerful and skilled, but a single mistake would mean the end of you. And you're too valuable to lose. Not as a specimen, but as a friend.”
“Daiko...” B7 mutters, looking to the Head Scientist's expression a moment before bowing his head, sighing out. “Understood.”
“Don't worry, I'll handle this thing quick.” you tell him, patting B7 on the shoulder then raising that hand to your forehead, quickly isolating the largest ki underground. It is still a few floors deeper down, you sensing it rapidly approaching several weaker powerlevels. “Got it.”

And with a thought you're gone.

One moment you're with Daiko and B7 in a larger, open lab area with dozens of people, the next you find yourself in a much smaller area. One with blood splattered across the walls, a hole smashed through it where you sense the most powerful being aside from yourself.

“GRRRAAAA!” you hear it roar, followed by the crackling of electricity. Dashing through the hole, you see the creature pictured on Daiko's computer electrocuting a control panel, causing it to break and the automatic door sliding open, revealing a half-dozen terrified scientists. It then roars again, beating its arms against its chest in a manner similar to an Oozaru. But then it stops, turning and seeing you. Immediately it growls, fangs bared as it lowers its head. Clearly an aggressive stance, aiming its horn at your chest. Seems it wants a fight.

But what do you do? How do you approach trying (or not) to subdue this creature?
>Rush in and attack, overwhelm it with your superior power and force it to submit
>Activate your Energy Body before charging in, just because you're stronger doesn't mean you need to fight stupid

You watch as it paws at the ground, digging a trench through the metal floor as it prepares to charge you. To which you smirk, planting your feet and readying yourself for its charge. Only for the creature to explode forward, far faster than its build and powerlevel would suggest and slam its horn into your guts.

“Gah?!” you exclaim, the force of the creature's charge pushing you back a couple feet. You grab the smaller monster by the shoulders, pushing it back and pulling its horn out of your guts. Then, while still holding it back, you activate your Energy Body, emerald energy hardening into a suit of armor around you. “Tch. Not bad. But it won't work again.”

And with that you kick it in the chest, sending the creature sliding back. It is a LOT heavier than it looks, the weight of the creature keeping it from flying back.

“Get out of here, all of you!” you shout to the trapped scientists behind the creature. “I'll handle this thing, you all get clear!”
“Grrrr.” it growls, ignoring them as it looks at you again as it retakes that charging stance. But this time you're ready, planting your feet and retaking the same stance you were in before, gesturing for it to come at you with your left hand. “GRRAAAAA!”

It charges once again, driving its now-spinning horn at the same spot, just an inch to the right to hit closer to your spine. But this time, with your Energy Body active, its horn doesn't penetrate far enough to hurt you. The tip of the horn doesn't fully penetrate your armor, you stepping forward and pushing it back. The creature lets out a confused sound, trying to lift you up with its horn overhead. But you center your weight back and down, keeping it from lifting you up over its head while reaching out, again grabbing it by the shoulders. This time it doesn't let you push off, reaching up at your arms with its shorter arms. The tinier claws clasp onto your armor, the beast surprisingly strong as it tries to pry your arms off.

“Heh, nice try.” you reply, again pulling it out of your armor, clenching down on it then lifting the creature up overhead.
“Grrrwr?” it exclaims, eyes widening in surprise as you pick it up over your head. Then you flip, kicking it in the jaw and sending it crashing into the ceiling. The metal crunches from the impact, the heavy creature's body crumpling it before it drops back down to the ground in a heap. It lays still for a moment before shaking its head, looking back to you with one eye before pushing itself back upright. You notice that, with each step of its feet the ground bends, basically leaving footprints in the ground. “Grrrrr!”

“Come on, show me what you can really do.” you say to the creature, taking your fighting stance. It growls again, this time gathering flames at the tip of its horn. Then, with a roar it unleashes a fiery blast at you, the flames spreading out into a giant five-point star. But you don't budge, letting the attack strike your Energy Body directly. The flames chew through your armor for a moment before burning out, the flames fizzling away into nothing to reveal you still standing there, unharmed.

“Grrrr?” it grumbles, eyes widening upon seeing you took no damage from the attack. It seems uncertain, as if unsure about whether or not to continue trying to attack you.

But what do you do?

They abandoned the “fast, deadly and sneaky” approach of the Scyther in favor of heavy, armored, and very powerful. Mainly because they recorded how you fought the Scyther, as well as other fights and learned from you. Then added a few extra touches like the horns and the seemingly-magical attacks.

“What, done already?” you ask, the creature lowering its head again. Not quite enough to be in the charging position as before, but still wary of you. As if unsure that it wants to continue trying to fight you or if it should flee. Seeing this you draw your right fist back, then punch forward with one hundred percent of your base form's strength. “HAAAA!”

Your punch is so sharp and fast it cuts through the air, creating a shock wave the size of your fist that that slices through the air. Slamming into the creature's right pectoral chest plate which crumples, blood spraying out of the cracks.

“GRAaaaAAAA?!” it exclaims as the force of your blow knocks it back a step, the project dropping to a knee as it clutches its chest with one hand. Only to draw it back and see that it's bleeding, eyes going wide with fear.
“What's wrong? We're just getting started.” you say, the creature growling at you and gathering its power once more. You see frost start gathering on its horn before the creature fires that pale beam, it striking you dead center in the chest. You watch, curious as the ice builds all over your Energy Body, freezing both the air around you and the topmost layer of your armor itself into solid ice. Then, once the creature's attack ends you end your Energy Body as well, letting your aura blaze. Shattering the ice, you stepping forward confidently towards the beast. “Did you think that would work?”

You can tell now that it is truly afraid, stepping back as you step forward and feel a grin come to your face. This monster thought that it was powerful, but had no idea what you were capable of. And seeing not one, not two but three of its different attacks fail, it is clearly frightened. So, you gather a small bit of your ki into your right hand, then toss it at the creature. The orb splitting into a Scattershot a few feet short, your blast peppering the creature as well as the wall of the room the scientists were hiding in behind it, everyone having long since scattered at your order. Your attack blasts it back into the room, crashing back-first into what you now clearly see is a reinforced panic room. The wall doesn't even dent from the impact of launching the beast into it, and feel yourself smile a bit at this. Seems this area in particular you can let a little more power out without worrying too much about collateral damage.

“Grrrr! GRRRAAAAAAA!” it roars, again firing electricity from its horn at you. But you're quicker, firing a simple ki blast that takes the electricity, absorbing it before slamming into the creature and once again exploding. Your hair is blown back from the blast, fireball fading into a cloud of smoke as you can feel the creature is still alive. But then, to your shock, feel its powerlevel start moving downwards. As if trying to escape!

“HAAAA!” you shout, firing another punch shock wave into the room. Blowing away the smoke, it reveals that the armored lizard had started tunneling straight down through the reinforced floor, looking for an escape. As you realize this you feel its energy drop several feet, no doubt breaking through and down into the floor below. So, without hesitation you jump into the hole, dropping down after it. Only for the creature to open its mouth, firing a barrage of tiny, pink needle-like beams of energy from its mouth at you. But you're too quick, dropping underneath the swarm of piercing points and landing on the ground an instant before they start striking the ceiling, where they let out a sizzling noise. Confused you look up, only to see the ceiling around the hole start dissolving! They gave this thing acid as well? “What the hell?”

“GRRAAAA!” it roars, you turning back to see it's shot an orb the size of your fist at you, no doubt of the same caustic substance as those needles. But this time you don't dodge, instead gather your ki into another energy shot and fire it at the orb. Your attack punches through and splatters the smaller orb, sending droplets flying in all directions as it flies straight towards the monster. Who doesn't have time to evade, but does bring up both arms and plant its feet, using its forearms to block the blast as it hits. Yet, despite bracing itself your attack still knocks it off its feet, sending it smashing into a much thinner wall, collapsing to the ground in a room where you sense a few remaining. A woman screams in terror, you seeing several scientists run out the room's door towards the non-working elevator.

“Keep your heads down, I'll have it subdued soon!” you assure them, only for the monster to roar, the sound of machinery and metal crunching coming from the hole. Then, a moment later one of the armored suits comes flying through the hole in the wall at you, you catching the suit and turning to set it down. As you do, the monster charges, this time its horn glowing and another foot or so longer. You see the attack coming, turning back to face it and brace yourself, catching it in both hands. The force of the monster's charge still pushes you back to underneath the hole in the ceiling before you manage to stop the monster, then with a smirk you lift it up by the horn. The monster's eyes widen in surprise, then with a shout you throw it back up through the hole. Dashing up after it, you then, grab the creature by the tail, spinning it around in a circle once before pitching it back through the doorway, crashing through another wall before sliding into another wall, which though dented pretty badly, stops it. “So, what else can you do?”

The monster tries pushing itself up on all fours, collapsing back down flat on the ground before trying again, shakily pushing itself upright. It's clearly on its last legs now, entire body trembling as its chest heaves, panting in exhaustion. You've got it on the ropes, it looks about ready to collapse all on its own.

“Daiko. Can this thing understand us?” you think to the Head Scientist as the creature before you wavers, struggling to remain upright as you stare it down. Clearly afraid but also not trying to run, no doubt having realized that you can catch it. “Do they understand words and meanings, or just our tone?”
“Oh no, Project: Nido understands common speak quite fluently.” the scientist answers after a moment's hesitation. “The others underestimated its knowledge due to its inability to speak at first, but it can understand directions perfectly fine. It can even understand written, as long as it is large enough. It cannot see smaller fonts, due to the animals that it was originally created from being-”
“That was all I needed to know about that, just one last thing.” you interrupt. “Which cage does it belong to?”

“Its residence is still on this floor, ableit on the far end.” Daiko tells you, telepathically sending you images of what it looked like before the beast broke free. And in the images that flash through your mind you see this thing when it was a far smaller quadruped, barely the size of your fist. “But we can't keep it there, it showed the electronic lock was no match. I never thought it would be smart enough to use its electric shock to fry the lock's electronics.”

“I'll put him back, but you really need to rethink your security measures.” you reply, ending the telepathic link and clicking your boot heels together, drawing the monster's gaze as you shout. “ATTEN-TION!!

The monster freezes in place at this, eyes wide as it looks uncertainly to you.

“That's enough. Are you ready to quit?” you ask it, lowering your head as it had, as if you had a horn and are ready to charge. It sees this and its eyes go wide, recognizing your stance as one of aggression and leans back. It lays back, partially on its tail for balance and exposes its neck to you, horn pointed away with its arms down. A clear sign of surrender. It then falls back, unable to hold the position. Despite trying to recover it lands on its right side, the floor bending under the creature's falling weight. Seeing this you walk over, scooping the heavy monstrosity up in your arms. Despite its smaller size, entire body smaller than your wife, it is immensely heavy, weighing more than you in your Berserker form by your estimates. It looks panicked for a moment as it sees you lifting it, but you calm it down with your words and tone. “It's over. We're going back to your area, where you belong. And this time, I want you to stay there and not do this again. If you misbehave like this again, I'll be back. Understand?”

The creature nods weakly, you carrying it down the hall as you follow the mental instructions Daiko'd sent, leading you to its area. You walk in through the damaged electronic door, the control panel still sparking as you go over to what's clearly its bedding, kneeling down and laying the creature down.

“From now on, behave. If I catch you doing something like this again, I'll be back.” you tell it, getting your hands out from under it and standing up. Then, for a bit of intimidation you clench your fists, powering up into your Berserker form. Letting your body swell, powerlevel spiking as you grow another couple feet, towering over the downed creature. “And next time, I won't hold back. Understand?”

Eyes wide in shock and fear, the creature nods twice before a yawn it couldn't fight back takes it, showing its carnivorous fangs before curling up, closing its eyes. You power down, walking to the doorway where you drive your fist into the wall, dragging the broken door back shut behind you. Then, after a few steps you reach your right hand up to your forehead, thinking back to Daiko.

“It's done, he's back in his area and I shut the door.” you tell him, focusing on his ki and teleporting directly to his side. Where, as you reach over to the container left on his desk with the rest of the 'SENZU' healing capsules and pop it into your mouth, continue. “What in the world are your guys making down there?”
“What are we making? We're making the ultimate weapons of war.” he says excitedly, glasses catching the light as he adjusts them. “We are engineering the ultimate foot soldiers, beings that surpass the weaker species of other worlds, strong and heavy enough to crash through their ships and fortifications, and with powerful elements to disable and destroy them. Fire to detonate fuel and weapon ammunition depots, electricity to disable their security and control systems, and corrosion to punch through what their raw strength cannot. The ultimate foot soldiers, ready to crush other civilizations or to protect our own. Last time New Salda was invaded by the Covenant, or before then when those metal lizards showed up, it was our people who suffered. But not again, never again!”

You realize then as he's shouting that Daiko is just as passionate as you are about protecting your home. And while he doesn't have the strength to do so, not like you can, he has instead put his mind to the goal, working tirelessly to do the same. And you can't blame him, after all if you were in his position you'd still be doing whatever you could to protect your family.

“Then let's keep getting stronger. My power and your creations, let's not stop pushing further and further beyond.” you tell him, sharing a nod of understanding with the man. You both may be opposites, but at the end of the day you both share the same goal. And you're glad he and his creations are on your side.

And that's it for this weekend, did you enjoy the ride? Have fun battling another creature of Daiko's team's making? Do you agree with his design philosophy moving forward, or do you think he's misguided? Are you ready to see what else happens next, if anything else wild happens while Meloka's still home or will she head back to the divine realm without further incidents? What did you think of Chilli's idea to stop Demongo, and the battle in the underworld as a whole? And, last but not least, do you think it a coincidence Whis brought Meloka back now, or did he have... Other motives for doing so right before all this went down? All this and possibly more, next time when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues!
>>
>>5853152
Whis probably got ulterior motives cooking. Whether this in itself was a coincidence or not I don't know (I'd bet something was in fact going on), but he's got something planned in the long run we don't fully know about that I'm almost sure of.
I'm proud of our boy. Even when he got mindraped he still pulled something badass.
>>
>>5853152
>Have fun battling another creature of Daiko's team's making?
Indeed. We should get our students in on this as well, I think fighting these monsters before they're sent to Planet Tatsu would be great training.
Who exactly were the "donors" for Project Nido anyways?
>Do you agree with his design philosophy moving forward, or do you think he's misguided?
His design philosophy is fine, the problem is that his containment procedures suck. If only there was some way to lock specimens away and store them while simultaneously sedating them...
>Are you ready to see what else happens next, if anything else wild happens while Meloka's still home or will she head back to the divine realm without further incidents?
Well now that you jinxed it, no.
>What did you think of Chilli's idea to stop Demongo, and the battle in the underworld as a whole?
A trip down Dead Bitch Lane is always a fun time. Chilli's idea worked and didn't get anybody killed, so I say it was a smart one.
>and, last but not least, do you think it a coincidence Whis brought Meloka back now
Now that you mention it, it would have been pretty fucking bad for Whis if Demongo had managed to subjugate Karn. Sly dog.
>>
>>5853167
He could be cooking up something devious. Or he's just relaxing, watching how things go. After all, he couldn't KNOW that you'd need Meloka home this week, right?
He's a good egg. But realizing that he's weak to mind control will be something he addresses.
>>5853189
Perhaps. That's their preliminary test to see if they'll survive in the wild on their own, how effective they are, etc.
Creatures found on various planets, Saibamen, B7, the usual places.
To be fair, this is only the second escape since the first of the Scythers. And to be fair, it WOULD have remained locked away, if it wasn't designed to disrupt electronics. While kept in an electronically-locked cell.
Who knows?
Glad you had fun, that's what I like to see. And summoning a being designed to keep the realms separate, to stop realm-to-realm invasions really shows how far Karn still can climb in terms of power. The Guardians' combined power makes lightsabers look like candles while it's rocking a spotlight.
>Now that you mention it, it would have been pretty fucking bad for Whis if Demongo had managed to subjugate Karn. Sly dog.
Angels aren't allowed to interfere in the affairs of mortals, but he knows quite a lot of what's happening in every realm in Universe 7.

>>
>>5853371
Maybe Daiko can give an incentive to his creations to protect new salda and its people instead of these ridiculously ineffective containment methods. Like train them instead of acting like they are robots.
>>
>>5853383
He’s not a super-powerful engine of destruction like many of his kind, but that doesn’t mean he won’t put his gifts to use in service to them.
>>5853391
That’s always the issue with the first few generations of the creatures. Their minds must be studied to understand how they think and work, how they process information and what they can and cannot do. The early ones are essentially prototypes, proof-of-concepts ingrained with the Saibamen ‘deterioration’ so that even if they escape containment their potential damage is limited. Once the species is ‘perfected’ biologically, then the mind programming can begin. Example: can’t put aggression inhibitors in a being without knowing its natural aggression levels, unless you want a useless being that doesn’t fight even when attacked repeatedly.
>>
>>5853434
Giving them a wide array of innate abilities is great, but what about their learning capacity?
I'm not talking specifically about their ability to understand orders, but how well they parse and replicate things they see other organisms doing.
Being able to train a batch of existing Bio-Warriors (I'm just gonna call em that now) and teach them new techniques to suit their specific mission would cut down on unit production costs AND hopefully indoctrinate them even further, ensuring their cooperation within the PTO.

They have instinctual patterns integrated, can’t have them grow and evolve too beyond their programming. Not after a certain something was able to learn. Hell, they don’t know WHO in the lab is now that thing at any given moment. Except for Daiko and B7, as they’re the only ones who can sense ki.

Not a one of you wondered why quan chi was seemingly working with dabura, but tomorrow you’ll see what he was doing BEFORE showing up to save Dabura’s life. And why he was overly-polite to your family

Probably to skim magic off of Babidi. Learn some new tricks. Suck some new dicks. The usual for the bald boy.

Shinnok told him to I'm assuming. As for what he was doing beforehand, I'm just gonna assume he was siphoning the souls of the damned for some other nefarious plot.

Shinnok presumably hasn’t told anyone anything from inside that amulet. But you’ll see soon.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 208 Intermission-

AGE 757, NEW SALDA

“You guys, stay out here. I'll handle this.” your older siblings Tatsu and Tomi, or rather “Tomitsu” says. “Wait for Miss Raven to come back, and tell her what's going on when she gets here.”
“But-!” Maz says, but they don't wait, teleporting away to the powerlevel they'd sensed down inside her house. “H-Hey!”
“They're treating us like kids again.” Kayle says, your older sister crossing her arms and frowning. “We can fight too.”
“Maybe it's something more dangerous?” Okira says, you all looking to her. “If they thought the intruder wasn't a threat, they'd have no problem with us coming along, right?”

“I guess.” you reply, still upset they didn't even hear you out. Because what no one else knows is, you have a secret way inside. You are Karn Jr, son of Karn and Meloka, the strongest Super-est Saiyans around. So super in fact that, when you were born, you were already super as well. Where your siblings have to try to transform into what you are, with the blonde hair and green eyes, you just ARE. All your life you've heard that you are special, from your parents to King Vegeta, to Towa to even the scary old demon man Mechikabura, they all said that you were special. But at times like this you don't feel very special, when you're left out of important things. However, unlike your siblings, you know another way inside.
“The intruder. Handle him, they will.” the former Guardian, the one who was Raven before she was says, his ghostly form sitting on the rock. “Back to our lessons, return, we shall.”

“Yes Teacher.” you all say, but as he starts talking you get a bad feeling in your guts. One that Tatsu and Tomi will need your help. So, while he's distracted talking to Kayle, you turn, quietly running off and jumping far out to dive hands-first into the water, quickly swimming down around the giant submerged ship that is her home. You wonder how people once built things that big and made them fly through space? But instead of focusing on that you swim through the water up under the gigantic ship, finding the hole on the underside and flying up through it. You pop out through it into the air inside, flaring your power a bit to get the water off before flying through the halls. You know your way around the inside, having explored this place more than once and start rushing towards the older twins' shared powerlevel. As well as the other one, that energy tainted by something darker.

Flying through the halls, suddenly you feel Tomitsu's powerlevel split into Tatsu and Tomi's, their strength dropping dramatically. You keep running, redoubling your efforts to catch up to them. You feel that something's wrong, dashing through the empty dark hallways with only your aura's golden light for guidance. You fly up and down the halls, finding the abandoned elevator shaft and fly up to the same level as your siblings. However, as you do, the former Guardian reaches out to you telepathically.

“Venture further, you should not. For assistance, you should wait.” he thinks to you.
“No way. My family's in trouble!” you reply back, kicking off the wall of the shaft and blasting into the halls towards them. You fly through the darkness, flipping forward once and landing on your feet into a slide that brings you up near the man standing before Miss Raven's secret room while holding your siblings at bay. They both have a weird green energy, not a powerful green like your father's but a sickening green, one that makes you feel queasy as you look at it around them, their expressions blank as they stand on either side of him. The man himself has very pale white skin with red marks on his shoulders and arms, turning and fixing you with a menacing glare as you stop. “Eeep!”

“Wha-Oh, just another child.” the man says, his voice dripping with evil. He grins at you, an expression that sends a chill up your spine. “You two, take care of that one.”

And as you watch, them their eyes glowing with that same green energy before they charge at you. Before you can react they've grabbed your arms, pinning you to the wall. He gives you a look that makes you feel worried, shivering

“Wh-What? What are you guys doing?” you ask them, but don't see your siblings in those eyes. The magic of this wizard clearly has them under his spell, they can't do anything but what he says until he's stopped. “Let them go!”
“Do not worry, you shall soon join them.” he says, his hands starting to weave a pattern in the air while speaking jibberish, saying almost-words. But you're not going to get controlled!
“HRRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, golden power exploding out from you as you take on the incredibly-powerful Super Saiyan 3. Your ki blows your siblings back, knocking them off of you and slamming them into the wall on either side of the doorway as well as knocking the pale sorcerer back. He crashes into the door, a shield of magic appearing around it the instant before contact that he hits instead. It holds him in place for a few seconds before dropping him, the man falling down to all fours. “You let them go! Right now!”

“Insolent CHILD!” he seethes from the ground, pushing himself upright and putting his hands together. Then he fires a green-flaming skull directly at you, it screaming through the air.
“HAAAAAA!” you roar, firing a beam of golden energy at it. For a moment it pushes you back, but then your power starts to overwhelm him. The magic user sees this and leaps aside, hitting the ground in a roll on your right side. Your blast slams the skull into the magic seal on the door, both exploding as you turn your focus to the pale man. Who conjures a pair of glowing green swords, kicking off the ground at you. But you've seen your Momma fight with two swords, and thanks to her training know how to fight them. You cross your arms and, using your Daddy's technique, harden your golden energy into a suit of armor around your body.

He closes in the distance with a jump, swinging both sickening green blades down onto your shoulders. But they don't cut through your Daddy's technique, in fact his energy shatters against your own.

“Wh-What?!” he exclaims, looking from your face to his weapons, eyes wide with shock. “How-?”
“HAAAAA!” you shout, drawing your right fist back and slamming it into his chest by jumping at him. You feel bones break, your punch sending him back down the hallway you'd flown down originally. He bounces once, twice, three times as he tumbles uncontrollably, landing a final fourth time and sliding to a stop. “Now let them go!”
“Huh? Junior?” Tatsu says, you turning to your sibling as he shakes his head, hand on his head. “What's going on?”
“Tatsu!” you exclaim, taking your attention off the wizard and focusing on him. “You're back!”

“Back? What do-Hold on. Why are you in here?” he asks, you shaking your head and pointing down the hall towards the wizard.
“He mind controlled you!” you say, pointing at your older sister who is still controlled, that green energy still around her. “Just like Tomi!”
“Don't let him get away, I'm going to break her free.” Tatsu says, you nodding and turning back to the wizard. Only to see that he's got back up to his feet, coughing up a splatter of blood on the ground. “I'm sure Miss Raven will want him alive.”

“Right.” you reply, readying yourself to lunge after him again, only for him to create a circle portal of that green energy between you. And a giant blue monster the size of your Daddy runs out.
“Moloch! Drahmin! Kill them!” the wizard shouts, the three-eyed, horned beast roaring and charging for you. In its left hand it wields a ball the size of its head, the crouching creature raising it overhead to crush you as it charges.

GWWRRROOOOOH!!” the beast bellows, swinging down at you with the heavy-looking ball. But you're super duper tough as a Super Saiyan 3, planting your feet and catching it with both hands. It weighs a ton, the ground bending under your feet as you catch the giant ball, managing to stop it before it could even touch a hair on your head. Stunning the giant creature, it no used to squishing someone so much smaller than it. “Gwwrrrrr?”

“Hehe, not so big and strong- Ooof!” you exclaim, a smaller man rushing at you from underneath the giant creature's legs and slamming his iron gauntlet-d right fist straight into your face. It knocks you back a step, the blow surprising you more than anything as the creature looks in surprise. No doubt expecting that strike to have at least broken your nose. “Hey! I'm fighting him, you wait your-! TURN!”

And with a shout you jump up, planting both feet into the smaller man's green mask and shattering it, sending him crashing against the giant monster as pieces of it rain down on the ground. But he doesn't seem to be hurt by this, instead roaring out in rage. He rushes back at you, flailing around with his club wildly like a child throwing a tantrum. So, you decide to take it away from him, catching that glove in your left hand while twisting forward and bringing your right elbow up, slamming yours into his. You feel the man's arm break, tearing it in half at the elbow. Then, with the momentum you spin into the Su Ma the old dead Guardian and Miss Raven Guardian drilled into you, bringing your left up into a powerful kick to his chest. Once again you feel bones break, sending him flying back into the large creature. Who doesn't catch him, backhanding him with his right hand to get him out of the way as it charges at you.

Once more the beast swings that giant ball down, but you've already caught it. So, instead you keep using the Su Ma, flipping around it then kicking off the ball, rocketing straight into his face with your right knee. Bones crack, the strike sending the blue monster flying back at the wizard. Who doesn't catch his servant, instead opening a portal and allowing the creature to fall inside it, the wizard sealing it back as you land on your feet.

“Was that your strongest monster?” you ask him, to which the wizard smirks.
“No, I think YOU'LL be the strongest monster in my collection!” he replies menacingly, throwing both hands forward towards you, green energy glowing as he shouts some gibberish. Something like “Ben day court hay”, which makes no sense, when suddenly your head feels like it's in a vice. His voice starts echoing in your head, over and over, louder and louder as it repeats a single word:

“KYAAAAAH!” you cry out in pain, feeling yourself drop to a knee as your hands go to your head, eyes screwed shut against the pain. That sickening green magic winds its way inside you, you feeling it spreading inside you until something strange happens. You feel it touch something in your very soul, something you've never felt before. And that power responds, the barrier inside of you keeping that angry power in check snaps. Suddenly, the pain goes away, your vision fading until you can only see one thing: him. The one who hurt your siblings, the one you're going to destroy. “GRRRAAAAAAAA!!”

“Wh-?” he starts, you blitzing him and driving your left fist into his chest. Your punch goes straight through his chest, you opening your hand and grabbing his insides before tearing your hand free, pulling them out too in a spray of red. He gasps in pain, collapsing to a knee as his hands go to his chest. Only for that other one to jump at you, holding his cut off arm and the metal club still attached to it and swinging both at your face. Enraged even further you catch it again with ease, ripping that arm out of his grip and slamming it into his head, knocking him down. Then you keep swinging it down on his body over and over again, beating him until he looks more like a puddle than a person. Chest heaving, you turn back to the wizard, only to see that he's jumped through his portal this time, where you also see what looks like a red-skinned man with long, pointy ears wearing a long white cape, obscuring the rest of him. But before you can jump after him it closes, you snarling at the coward who ran away.

“GRRRRAAAAA! HRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar in rage, beating your own chest with your hands a few times. You showed him. But, before you can revel in your victory, a familiar voice calls out to you.
“Junior? You, you really did it! You powered up, just like Dad and Broly!” the odd voice says, you turning and seeing two people standing there, holding hands as they look at you. “You did it, that's so cool!”

They seem kind of familiar, their lack of aggression confusing you as you try and remember who they are. But then the power welling up within you fades away, leaving you completely exhausted. Sleep sounds good right now, you don't remember ever being this tired before. You are so tired that you never even hit the ground, falling asleep before you can even lay down. Your last thoughts of what those two strangers said about you transforming like your Daddy and Broly did, passing out with a smile on your face. Only to find yourself back in that dark space, a familiar wrinkled, blue face waiting for you.

“Very well done, Karn Jr.” the demon Mechikabura says with a smile. “Most impressive. You have finally begun to actualize your potential, just like your namesake.”

Remember, his mother was Super Saiyan 3 all the way from Jr’s conception to birth. But his father had been a Berserker, giving him BOTH.
>>5858404
He has his parents’ instincts, as well as his dad’s anger. Plus he doesn’t have a grown adult’s emotional control.
>>
This was already assured, but it's good to know our defiant rage won't die with us.
>>
>>5858445
Oh yeah, I gotta ask, how does the Berserker mutation affect Junior specifically?
Does the base Berserker form stack on top of Super Saiyan 3 for him? Is it just a stronger version altogether?
>>
I need to see more of Sparking Zero. That teaser wasn’t enough!

>>5858533
Very true.

His power wasn’t Berserker, not exactly. Its something different

No, not quite. This power isn't the same as yours. It's something new, something Mechikabura has been waiting for.
>>
>>5859418
Are you saying that Karn was part of Mechi's plan but there are two Karns, technically? I'll slap him.
>>
>>5859430
No. He needs Karn Jr's powers as well for his plan, but... Well you'll see tomorrow, perhaps then you'll understand why he's been waiting.
>>
>>5859489
...did Mechikabura orchestrate this specific encounter try and draw out Junior's potential?
>>
>>5859528
Oh no, he absolutely does NOT fuck around in your timeline, except to directly help your children. No, this was entirely of Quan Chi’s fuckery trying to restore his lord and master. So, now you know why he was so polite while you were in the world of the dead

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After traveling via Aku portal to the world of the dead, Karn, Meloka, Leyas and Sarada fought the Abyssal demon Demongo along with his allies he'd found there the dread Stand Carnival Forever Requiem and the wizard Babidi. After defeating them all and returning home, Karn'd gone to the Head Scientist Daiko to see the progress of the healing items to repair the damage he'd taken from the Guardian of the Gates. Only to be inside as another of their creatures escapes. After a quick battle Karn subdues it, then reaches an understanding with Daiko as he then heals up once more. And as we rejoin Karn, you've just rejoined your family on Raven's island to see something worrying.

“Karn Jr? What happened to him?” you ask Tatsu, your elder twin holding your youngest in his arms. His fists are still dripping with blood that is splattered across the rest of him, chest armor shredded while his wrist guards and boots look noticeably stretched out and ill-fitting. Yet he's sleeping with a smile, seemingly without a care in the world.
“Much like you, he is.” the former Guardian's spirit says, you turning your gaze from your sleeping son to the ancient master. “Danger, he sensed. And intruder, detected, he did. Rescued Tatsu and Tomi, he did.”
“Rescued?” you say, still puzzled as Meloka takes her baby boy, who is nearly a decade old at this point but still her youngest. “What happened?”

“When you and Mom left, and Miss Raven, you went to where you both disappeared from, we sensed someone had snuck into your home.” Tomi says, her and Tatsu not speaking in sync. Which is quite odd, despite the twins now holding hands. “We used Instant Transmission to teleport to them, finding a strange, pale man only for him to shout some nonsense at us, grabbing us with some sort of telekinesis and separating us.”
“When I came to, Junior had gone Super Saiyan Three.” Tatsu continues where she'd left off. “Tomi was still under control, so I told him not to let him escape while I tried to save Tomi. It too me and Tomitsu to-”
“You had your YOUNGEST BROTHER fight that bastard while you tried to help her? Why didn't you reach out to me?!” Raven exclaims loudly, eyes shifting to red as her demonic nature begins to bleed through.

“I was. But you were ignoring me.” he replies, Raven instantly cooling off and even looking a little ashamed, hanging her head and looking down at her feet at his words. “And by the time we'd broken his hold over her mind, Junior'd already beaten his monsters. But then, when he tried to mind control him as well, it happened.”
“He transformed!” Tomi exclaims, eyes wide. “Just like you and Broly, Dad! He did it too!”

“He WHAT?!” you and Meloka both ask, you hearing the same alarm you feel in her voice. Your reactions startle the twins, who both actually recoil a step. You take a deep breath sighing out and apologizing to them. “Sorry, been a... Tense day. What do you mean, he transformed like me?”

“I saw it better, because Tatsu was still focused on me.” Tomi replies. “He threw out his hands, wrapping Junior in his sickening green magic, but instead of controlling him he just snapped. His powerlevel exploded, but not higher. But, I don't really know how to explain it, but it felt wider. Like his power increased, not in how strong it was but how MUCH of it he was putting out, it was wild. As if there were a hundred of him instead of just one.”
“Exactly. He didn't get stronger, not by much, but his ki reached absurd levels.” Tatsu continues. “He was putting out so much power it was unreal. No wonder it lasted maybe twenty seconds before he passed out.”

“And when he did his long, green hair returned to normal.” Tomi finishes up, you feeling worry start to creep in. You hadn't empowered him like you had Okira, did she somehow spread the Berserker power you'd given her to him? Is it just spreading throughout your bloodline? Will they all take on this power, since you've become a Berserker God? You have a lot of questions, but not many answers. And even fewer people to ask. So, with no answers you thank the twins for doing their best, all of you going back to your day as usual. But the nagging thoughts, doubts, and questions of what happened continue following you throughout the remainder of your day, even as you're near ready for bed, staring out over the sea even after the sun's gone down.

But what do you do with this knowledge?
>Telepathically reach out to Towa through the demon seal, try and get a possible explanation from her. You all won't return to her realm before Meloka returns to the divine realm, so if she has no answers now she might have them later
>Wait until you fall asleep tonight to try and send your mind to that void you've gone to so many times to try and talk to Mechikabura. See what he knows of what happened as well as your power, make sure it isn't something that spreads. And if it is, to train everyone to be ready to handle it
>Sleep it off, ask your son tomorrow what happened and what he remembers when he wakes up. As well as congratulate him for doing such a good job protecting his siblings
>Put that aside, take Okira to where the fight went down and have her try to re-open the portal the bastard had escaped into with her Stand. You owe one wizard an intimate encounter with Divine Dragon Force for what he did to your children first thing, once your strength has fully recovered

Thinking about what all had happened today, you realize that there's only one being you can ask. Only one creature you know and would believe enough to ask. So, turning from the sea you head back inside, finishing up your nightly routine before getting into bed with your wife. Several of your children pile in as well, even some of the older kids wanting to be near their mother. And with a sigh you drift off to sleep, your mind spiraling down and down, deeper and deeper until you find yourself back in that familiar, dark void. Looking around you don't see anyone at first, so you try calling out.

“Mechikabura! We need to talk!” you call out into the darkness, but there is no answer for several seconds. You hear your own voice echoing back faintly, fainter and fainter as it seemingly goes on forever before a voice speaks up from behind you.
“Ah, Karn. There you are.” the Demon God says, you turning and seeing the wizened Dark Lord of the Demon Race leaning on his staff. “I take it everything is progressing well?”
“I have a question, and don't know who else to ask.” you tell him honestly, the Demon God's expression softening a bit. “It's about my son.”

“Ahh, yes. You mean about what he's just unlocked.” Mechikabura says, confirming your suspicions. “Yes, indeed. His power is the key.”
“The key?” you ask, brows furrowed as you're not sure whether or not to be concerned. “Key to what?”
“Our victory. His power, combined with your own, is what will allow us to overthrow the Supreme Kai of Time, once and for all. And, now that he has unlocked it, you must foster the growth of this power within him. For without his strength, we cannot defeat her.”

“What do you mean? My son's nowhere near ready to fight the Time Patrol, much less that pink bitch.” you reply, getting a little heated. “Karn Jr's not fighting them.”
“No, I should hope not. But his power isn't necessary for his strength, but for the breadth of his powers. You didn't witness this strength firsthand like your children, or the doomed fool, the last devotee to the fallen so-called Elder God. This power is the culmination of the two divergent Saiyan paths, the 'pure-hearted' Super Saiyan and the rage of the Berserker. Creating a power that is more than either of them.”
“What does that even mean?” you ask him, not quite following what he's insinuating. “How is my son's power what you need? I thought that was why you needed me?”

“Perhaps....It is time? Time for me to reveal my plan to you.” the Demon God says with a sigh, hesitating just a moment. “How your new powers, as well as your son's, will be catalyst for the fall of Conton City and the Time Patrol.”

Realizing the scope of what he just said you remain quiet, eagerly awaiting the Demon God's plan. To see how he plans to dismantle and destroy those bastards once and for all. He remains quiet a few moments before speaking, the dark being speaking with conviction.

“Conton City is its own city-state, one with thousands of warriors ready to defend it at a moment's notice. To take them down, I, we need more than a handful of powerful warriors. We need an army. And not just an army of disposable soldiers, no. An army with your strength, your power to resist the Supreme Kai of Time's own abilities.”
“An army....” you mutter, wondering how weakened you'd be after splitting your Berserker God power so many ways. But as you have the thought Mechikabura smirks, drawing your attention back to him.
“It would be impossible. To divide your strength that many ways would leave you unable to fight, a spectator without the strength left to intervene. But now, with Karn Jr's powers unlocked, the final piece of the puzzle is settling into place.”

“How is my son's power still what you need? I don't understand.” you reply, wondering what exactly he did yesterday to so impress the Demon God. To which he smirks, conjuring a magical orb in his left hand. One showing the battle you'd missed. Except, with his orb you can sense everyone through it, from the twins with their separated ki signatures to their youngest brother, his strength dwarfing everyone else inside Raven's home. You watch as Jr easily dispatches the minions the bastard had summoned, but as he tries controlling your son suddenly you can feel it. As he screams, power blazing a brighter green than your own, you can feel his power change. He doesn't grow stronger, you don't sense the familiar rage of the Berserker God within him. But instead it's something different, something growing. Overflowing.

His power continues to surge but not grow stronger, instead his go grows to be more and more plentiful. As if he went from one being's worth of his Super Saiyan 3 power to two, then to eight, then exploding to hundreds of himselves' worth of power. And it just keeps going, his strength growing outward exponentially. You feel your jaw drop as you sense this dramatic shift, having not felt a power this vast since Aku showed you the depths of his own strength. Where you'd been stronger than him, but how he had so much more to his power than your own it was crazy. And now your son possesses the same scale of power, you wondering how long he could sustain an exertion like the Final Flash with that much power at his fingertips?

“Your newfound powers, your immunity to the Supreme Kai of Time's powers as well as the power to break fate will be the deciding factor in the battle against Conton City.” Mechikabura tells you as Karn Jr goes on the attack, immediately tearing out the sorcerer's organs before turning to the more corpse-like one, beating it to death with its own iron gauntlet. “But him? His strength is what will allow us to raise an army. With him empowering you, combining his bountiful energy with the nature of your own and bestowing it, we will create an army immune to the Kai's powers, an army of powerful Berserker Saiyans to rampage throughout Conton City while I transform.”

“While you transform? You mean you're using us as a distraction?” you ask a bit angrily, to which the Demon God shakes his head.
“No, at first I shall be in my realm, completing the ritual to awaken the Dark Dragon Balls to restore me to my youth. In the previous time, the Time Patrol were nearly able to stop me, even with my Demon Gods I'd created to defend protecting me. But they allowed Chronoa to get through, trapping both of us within a Time Labyrinth. Stalling me for long enough so they could counterattack. No, this time we shall take the fight to her, and once I've regained my youth and true might, I shall join you all. And together, with all of our true strengths realized, the Time Nest will finally fall. Chronoa shall meet her end, and the Time Patrol will be no more. Our time of victory is nearly at hand!”

That's.... A lot to take in. Seeing how the Demon God has planned everything, you realize that you hadn't understood the scope of his plans. With your son's power like this, his strength so exponentially greater than it had been before, if he channeled that might through you you very well could spread the power of your Berserker Soul out amongst hundreds without even slightly weakening your own strength. And remembering back to your fight with her, she wasn't able to to much without relying on her time powers. If not just you, but an ARMY of Berserkers were to rampage throughout Conton City? You might be able to truly stop the Time Patrol, once and for all.

But how do you respond? This is still quite a big ask
>Ask how long he wants to continue waiting, how long you have to train your son to control this power of his
>You remember what you'd discovered, how this isn't the first 'rewrite' of reality Chronoa has done. Ask if this is what she's expecting you all to do, how it will play out if she knows you're coming
>Tell him you've got no problem leading the charge, but what of the others who don't have Berserker powers like Future Chaya or have gone down other paths like Meloka and the former Time Patroller Ace going to do during this attack

“I don't have a problem leading the charge in, but what about everyone else? I'm strong, but nowhere near Future Chaya or Ace's league. Will they be joining in on the attack, even though I can't help them the same way?” you ask the Demon God. “Or even Meloka, with my power being incompatible with her own?”
“Your compassion for your family is admirable, but fear not. I can use my own power to aid the strongest, to mitigate the Supreme Kai of Time's powers over them.” he reassures you. “But My magic in this state is rather... Limited. To be honest with you, Karn, as I am now, I am only a shadow of my former self. The ravages of time have stolen nearly all of my strength, leaving me quite defenseless.”

“Defenseless? You?” you ask, remembering how your other timeline daughter had told you he stopped her Apex strength effortlessly. Which makes you wonder just how powerful he was in his prime?
“Heh heh heh, yes. I may not seem it to you, one who has only recently reached this plateau of power. But I am only a fraction of who I once was, a shadow of my former strength. Once the ritual is complete, I will have the strength to challenge Chronoa directly and take her down once and for all.”
“I see.” you reply, wondering just how much strength he's lost. But before you can think over it too long, the Demon God continues.

“Your son will need your help to master this newfound strength. Much like your Berserker power, this form is fueled by rage as well. The anger of the Berserker and the stamina drain of Super Saiyan 3, he has his work cut out for him. But I know that you will be able to teach him, to guide him to master his powers. But for now, I must go.”
“Go? Already?” you ask, confused. “Why?”
“I am near the end of my natural lifespan. But I must keep delaying returning to my youth, until you and your son both are ready for this plan to work. So, I have isolated myself in a dimension where time itself moves far slower compared to your own. To give you both as long as I can to ready yourselves for the battle to come. Train well, Karn son of Tatsu. Teach your son to master his strength, to master this power that is his and his alone, and we shall topple the Supreme Kai of Time's rule.”

Then as he says this cracks start forming in that dark void, Mechikabura vanishing as your eyes shoot open. However, it isn't bright like it was in that space. In fact, the room is almost completely black, only the emergency lights on the ceiling glowing faintly in the darkness. That, and the form of your youngest son rising up, trying to sneak out of bed as he floats over towards the door. You wonder what Karn Jr could be up to as he drifts over, the automatic door sliding open near-silently as he approaches.

You're curious what he's up to, where your son could be going. Especially at this early hour long before even you get up.

But what do you do?
>Telepathically reach out to him, ask him what's going on without immediately getting up
>Sneak out of bed and follow him, suppressing your ki as you tail your youngest son to see what he's up to
>Call out quietly to him, whisper and ask what he's doing up this early
>Follow him with your ki sense, but make no moves to stop him or even let him know you're awake yet. See what's going on but don't interfere unless you think he's in danger

Seeing your son sneaking out of the room like this, you know something's going on. So, you decide to follow him and find out what he's doing, using your telekinesis to gently lift your youngest daughter off your chest and Caulifla off your right arm as the door shuts, slipping out of bed before laying them back down, padding silently towards the door as you can sense your son's powerlevel moving down the right hallway. Once he's more than two dozen steps away you get within the door's sensor range, the door sliding open with a whisper. You don't step through immediately, giving it a second as you focus on Karn Jr's ki, making sure he's still walking away, not stopping and turning towards the sound. You take a slow, deep breath, consciously lowering your powerlevel before stepping through, looking to both sides and making sure nothing you couldn't sense is lurking before following after your son, using your telekinesis to lock the door behind you once it seals shut. Just in case.

Silently you follow your son as he walks through the hallways, turning and looking at the first door that opens towards the inside-curve of the ship. Having not expected him to turn, you're forced to jump, stopping a mere few inches from the ceiling so you don't touch it and make noise. However, he's so focused on looking in the room he doesn't notice you, looking back and forth in the room a moment before sighing out and turning back the way he'd been going.

“What is he looking for?” you wonder to yourself as he starts walking, you flying over his shoulder as he walks around. He tries two more doors before going to the gravity chamber door.
“Yes!” he says to himself, walking right inside. You aren't sure what he's doing, but before the door starts shutting you fly down, slipping into the chamber as well. He goes straight over to the controls, flying up next to the console enough to read the controls. He looks over it for several seconds before grabbing the gravity dial, turning it. You land behind him, deciding to find out what he's doing.
“Hey kiddo. What'cha doin?” you ask him with a smile, Karn Jr jumping like he'd been shocked. He whirls around, eyes wide as he sees you.

“D-D-Dad?!” he says, shaking a bit in surprise as he tries to compose himself. “How'd you do that?”
“Do what?” you ask him, powerlevel still suppressed. “Follow you out of the bedroom?”
“You were awake?” he asks, sounding even more surprised. “I thought everyone was asleep when no one answered me. “Wait, you followed me? I didn't see anybody following me, were you invisible?”
“Hahaha no, not invisible. Just staying on the ceiling, out of your line of sight.” you tell him, Karn Jr looking surprised. “Anyways, why are you in here so early in the morning?”

“I was bored, so I was gonna do what you told me the other day before Momma came back.” he tells you. “Remember? You told me if I ever had too much energy or couldn't sleep, to come to the training room and work some of it off.”
“Mind having some company?” you ask him, not feeling up for trying to go back to sleep. His eyes widen as he smiles, nodding repeatedly.
“Uh huh, uh huh! I'd love to!” he replies, eyes sparkling as he looks up at you. You ruffle his hair with your hand, your son beaming a moment before turning back to the controls. He looks to the gravity control, then back to you with a curious look on his face. “What gravity should we go to?”

“That depends. What level do you usually go to?” you ask him, your son looking back to the controls.
“Twenty times. That's where I train at by myself, when everyone else is busy.” he says, you nodding to him then reaching past him, cranking it up to thirty times New Salda's gravity. He freezes a moment before looking up at you, eyes wide. “Thirty?!”
“I know you can handle it. And I'll be right here with you.” you tell him, your son looking uncertain for a few moments. But then, as he sees your confidence his own grows, nodding to you. You nod back, hitting the button and taking a couple steps back. Karn Jr stands on his own, clenching his fists and planting his feet as the room starts powering up.

Karn Jr stands with his knees slightly bent, clearly used to using the gravity chamber and readying himself to take the weight on his shoulders. And while he clearly wasn't ready for thirty times gravity, he takes it well, bending a bit under the weight but remaining standing. You watch as he tries to adjust to the new weight, body trembling as he takes a step. Then another, and another, raising his hands overhead and stretching before doing a couple jumping jacks, clearly quickly adjusting to the weight.

“It doesn't feel as heavy as I'd thought.” he says, looking back over to you.
“Huh.”
“You weren't pushing your self as hard as you could have been.” you tell him, sitting on the ground and laying back, hands behind your head. “Now, let's get started!”
“Right!” he calls out, laying down beside you as the two of you start working out on your count. You lead him through your morning workout you'd usually do with Chaya at higher gravity, but with her now on Planet Yardrat, you won't have her by your side in the mornings. So you take him through the entire set, your son actually managing to keep up the entire way. With longer breaks than you'd taken with Chaya, but that's to be expected. And after an hour or so, you've finished your morning exercise with him.

“PHEW!” he exclaims as he falls back flat on his back, dropping to the ground in exhaustion. “I'm tired. You do this every day?”
“Every morning. But usually on a bit higher gravity.” you reply, cracking the stiffness out of your neck from hanging suspended upside down while using your ki sense. And feeling that everyone else is still quite asleep, you decide to push him a little further. “So, want to go for a round or two with your old man?”
“Really? Me and you, one-on-one?” he asks excitedly, flipping back up to his feet like he's been resting instead of pushing himself. The power of youth.

“I'm ready!” he shouts, clenching his fists and powering up into Super Saiyan 3. Golden aura blazing, sparks dancing around his body he takes his fighting stance you'd taught, left arm up, right drawn back and ready to swing. “New Salda, I need your help.” you think to the planet, reaching out to New Salda itself for strength. And the planet replies, you feeling its power coursing up into you through your bare soles.
OF COURSE, MY CHAMPION.” comes the immediate reply. “IT HAS BEEN SOME TIME, SINCE LAST WE MERGED POWERS.
“That it has. Let's make sure I've still got it.” you reply as you see your son's jaw drop open, looking astonished at you.

“Woah, what's THAT?!” he exclaims. “Your aura and eyes are green, and you got stronger but you didn't transform. What's this?”
“This is the power of New Salda. The strength of our very world courses through my veins.” you tell him as the planet's strength augments your own, bringing your own strength up to over half your son's fully-transformed might as you take your own fighting stance. “Now, show me what you've got!”
“RIGHT!” he exclaims, kicking off the ground with zero hesitation. And he's fast, Super Saiyan 3's speed boost making him even faster than you'd expected. Barely giving you enough time to raise your arms up, blocking his first heavy right punch with your crossed arms. Then he spins, using the Su Ma technique diligently studied for years under New Salda's Guardians both current and former to twist himself around clockwise and kick at your head with his right. You raise your left in response, bracing your forearm with your left hand just as his attack connects, the force of which you can't fully absorb. Sending you sliding across the tile floor to come to a stop a few feet away. “Hey! You're not supposed to get sent away by that one, you made me miss!”

“Your opponent won't always move predictably.” you retort with a smile, hiding how shocked you were that he hadn't expected a heavy blow like that to move someone nearly half his strength. But then you remember he's not judging you based off your current strengths, but off how he's always sparred you before. With your Energy Body up, not reacting to any of their strikes blocked or not. Which is a note you make to yourself, to ensure they're more ready to deal with a wider variety of fighters. “You have to be ready for anything, kiddo.”
“Right!” he retorts, clenching his fists again as he readies himself to charge at you once more. “Here I come!”

“Bring it.” you reply, your son blurring towards you once again. This time he rockets towards you, but isn't drawing his fist back as far as usual. Immediately you recognize what he's going to try, doing your best to suppress your smirk. He's going to try your trick.

Karn Jr. blitzes in, then swings well short of you with his right. Flipping forward in a false-miss, using it to build momentum into a devastating left axe kick. But that's YOUR trick, you won't be fooled by someone else using it. Pressing your right hand to the back of your left you plant your feet, catching his heel in your palm. But with the difference in power the shock travels down your arms, through your torso and all the way down into your knees, you letting out a small noise through your teeth as you exhale. But then you smirk at him, grabbing onto his foot and twisting. Swinging him straight at the ground so hard he bounces, your son flipping through the air before landing on all fours.

“Nice try kiddo, but you're not going to get me with my own trick.” you tell him, your son grinning before kicking back off the ground at you. He launches into a ferocious barrage of strikes from all sides, forcing you fully onto the defensive. Every blow he throws out could take you down, but you manage to stay one step ahead of him thanks to your years of experience and knowledge of his style lets you intercept every strike. For over a minute you manage to withstand his barrage, ending with you catching his follow-up right in your left hand, then stopping his left with your right forearm. “Not bad. Your attacks are good, and you keep up the momentum well.”

“Yeah, but nothing's worked yet.” he says, sounding frustrated. Then he kicks off your chest, catching you a bit off guard and sliding back across the ground again, sliding until your heels hit a wall, stopping you as he draws both his arms together before him, palms pressed together. Golden light begins glowing from them, your son raising both arms up overhead as his fists radiate with crackling power. “Let's try this one Mr. Perfect Cell taught me last time! Thunder Shock Surprise!”

And from his hands comes a burst of lightning, it striking you straight in the chest. And everything becomes pain. Much like your half-demon daughter Milha's curse magic, this attack causes pain unlike anything you've felt before. Lightning far stronger than the Sith phantom Bane's electricity, your son's attack pins you in place, all of your muscles tensed due to the painful current running throughout your body. “GRRRRR!” you snarl through clenched teeth, trying to focus your ki as the lightning courses throughout your body. Muscles spasming, you struggle through the pain to gather enough of your ki to activate your own technique. It takes several moments, then once you have enough ready you unleash your power with a snarl. “HRRRRR!”

Your ki bursts forth from your body on all sides, forming a sphere of emerald ki at least a foot out from your body. The flow of powerful electricity into your body stops, lightning crackling against and around your Barrier instead of inside you.

“Haaaaaah.” you sigh out as the power crackles around your shield, you then smirking and kicking off the ground towards him. Karn Jr, caught by surprise doesn't cancel his attack before you close in, your Barrier touching him. Completing a circuit, causing his own power to strike him.
“GYAAAAAAAH!!” he cries out as his electricity starts coursing throughout his own body, Junior ending his attack as the pain breaks his concentration, dropping down to his knees. A few sparks crackle through his hair a moment longer. His eyes stare out, unfocused as you end your Barrier, kneeling down and reaching out towards your son. But, just before your hand touches him, a single golden spark jumps from his nose to your fingertip, the shock causing you to flinch back in surprise. But your son, however, begins to change. His golden aura blazes then begins to change, shifting to a more green-yellow color.

“What?!” you say, taking a step back as his power starts to change. His hair starts changing as well, turning a bright yellow-green as his power begins to grow. His strength doesn't increase, but his ki signature grows greater and greater. You can feel his power swelling by the moment, The sheer amount of his ki is staggering, your son screaming out as he rises up off his feet.
“GRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, hair flowing up into the air, blown skyward by the sheer weight of his power. His ki is so dense that it fills the air, your son landing on his feet doubled over, fists clenched as green bolts of lightning crackle around his aura. You see his arms tremble, veins bulging as his power continues growing. What you'd felt through the scrying orb didn't convey the weight of your son's power, how oppressive it feels to be buried under the weight of hundreds of Karn Jr's Super Saiyan 3's worth of ki. He then looks up, eyes meeting your own. Then, before you can say anything, he charges directly at you. “HRRAAAAAA!!”

Well, looks like you got to see this power firsthand after all. But now it looks like you've got to deal with it.

And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoying this episode so far? Ready to find out more about how Karn Jr's power works firsthand? And what do you think of Mechikabura's plan, do you agree with his attack plan conceptually? Or do you think it has problems? This episode will resume in just over 12 hours, hope to see you all then!
>>
>>5860542
No plan survives contact with the enemy.
Unless it's against Majin Buu lmao I still can't believe we got away with that.
>>
>>5860561
While that's a valid point, the question is what could the Time Patrol possibly DO against that? At least hundreds if not a thousand or more Berserkers immune to time manipulation powers(including Stands as well) rushing into Conton City running wild is hard to stop. Especially considering what's going to be going down during Mechikabura's attack.
>spoiler
It was a good plan, Buu isn't the type of enemy to dodge, and the dice were on your side. Plus you had the most coordinated team in Universe 7 backing you up on it. Victory wasn't guaranteed, but you had a lot working in your favor.
>>
>>5860569
That's another thing I wanted to ask, who's making up our Berserker Battalion?
Is it just a hodge-podge of anybody with Saiyan DNA? Or was Mechikabura more selective with his recruitment?
>>
>>5860569
>the question is what could the Time Patrol possibly DO against that?
I bet it's the boi that will actually do something for once, or they will pull some sort of cheat cheapshot out of their asses.
>>
>>5860578
Well, I'm sure you know the names, or rather name of at least dozens of them. Ones very compatible with the Berserker Soul. But others will be various powerful Saiyans pulled in from across the various timelines for this battle.
>>5860581
Unfortunately for the Time Patrol, when this goes down, Trunks and his team, as well as Chronoa will all be preoccupied. Due to a certain event unfolding within the Time Nest itself, a very special ritual the Time Kai herself controls.
>>
>>5860586
Hmm...I see. I guess it's not too terribly important if all they need to do is rampage. That said, I'd still like to know who all is going to be connecting with us and Junior.
I'm worried that the link and the "contamination" could go both ways. Maybe even on levels Mechikabura hadn't considered.
>>
>>5860592
Yeah, it’s not YOUR family going out into the rampage. Well, maybe one or two from other timelines, maybe a few more. But your timeline family won’t be among those Berserkers.
>us and Junior.
>I'm worried that the link and the "contamination" could go both ways. Maybe even on levels Mechikabura hadn't considered.
Don’t worry, by the time you’ll be ready to give out all that power like a Berserker Bargain Sale, Junior will already be back home tapped out. You have the Soulstone, and Mechikabura may have other similar implements to store all that power. The only one at any conceivable risk of such contamination with this plan is of course Karn. But your Berserker Soul is far stronger than any of the others.
>>
>>5860632
Oh yeah, there's another issue. If a large percentage of the Berserkers are first-timers, they're not gonna last long at all before passing out. He may well have planned around that, but it might not be a bad idea to enhance their stamina and ki reserves temporarily somehow.
>>
>>5860632
Actually I had another vaguely interesting thought.
How does the nature of Junior's transformation effect his usage of the Multiform Technique?
>>
>>5860657
That’s why he picked so many Brolys. After the initial wave tire out, there’ll still be DOZENS of Broly.
>>5860692
A good question. Once he learns it, he’ll be able to split that overwhelming power in half. Giving each body a mass of ki far larger than the powerlevel would suggest.
>>
>>5861041
You know what'd make the Broly Brigade even more effective? If Mechikabura hexed them to perceive every Time Patroller as Kakarot.
>>
soon
>>
>>5861054
Soon?
>>
>>5861060
Yes
>>5861053
No, using that many illusions would break him. His power’s nearly exhausted.

“Shit!” you exclaim, barely managing to bring your guard up as he blitzes you. Karn Jr's power hangs so thick in the air that it it physically slowing you down, it combined with the thirty times gravity nearly keeping your from raising your guard in time. But you manage to block his punch with an 'X' guard, his fist slamming into the point your arms intersect. However, instead of simply pushing you back a few yards, with the weight of all of this ki behind him, his punch sends you flying back. Crashing back-first into the far wall, bouncing off the heavily-reinforced metal with a low gonging sound. Further back away from him, his power doesn't feel AS oppressive, the weight of his strength keeping his long, yellow-green Super Saiyan 3-like hair rising up over him instead of settling down his back. “What the hell?”

“HRRYAAAAAA!!” he roars, charging right for you again. As your son draws closer his power washes over you, leaving you feeling almost as if you're drowning in his overwhelming energy. But you're done playing, tapping into your own Berserker power as he swings again. You transform in a flash, catching his punch with one hand as your powerlevel's peak dwarfs his own. But the shock still travels up your arm all the way to your shoulder, as if you were punched by someone far stronger. Which is when you can tell the true depth of Jr's newfound strength. While your powerlevel is higher than his own it's like being a mountain submerged in the ocean. Sure, your strength is greater than his, your power 'higher', his is so much more vast than even yours its astounding. Almost like the Soulstone when you'd overcharged it, except instead of being contained within a rock that power simply hangs in the air about your son, threatening to drag you under despite your powerlevel being 'higher'.

But what do you do? How do you approach this problem?
>Rush and attack, try and knock some sense into him and show you're still stronger
>Activate your Energy Body and defend, let him whale against your armor until he tires himself out so you can try and get him to overcome his rage

Letting him tire himself out probably won't work, dodging's right out while he has us in the soup, and I don't feel like shooting our son to pieces today.

“HAAAA!” you shout, crossing your arms and focusing your ki, creating your Energy Body around you. It takes more effort than usual, it taking a lot of effort to push his energy out away from you. It's like water but heavier, pressing down onto you. However, with your greater strength you're able to push his aura back, hardening your ki into your Energy Body.
“GRRRRIYAAAA!” he roars, kicking off the ground at you once again. You simply plant your feet, bracing yourself as he closes in. You watch your son swing at you with a heavy right, raising your left forearm and blocking the strike. Through your armor you barely feel the impact, Karn Jr not slowing down as he follows it up with a turning left knee aimed at your face. Which you also stop, this time with your right palm, but Junior takes the momentum you apply to him and flips over your head. As he does you raise your left up behind your head, guarding the base of your skull an instant before his heel or perhaps elbow slams into your armored forearm. “HRRAAAAA!”

“Heh, not bad.” you mutter to yourself as, even blinded by rage, Karn Jr still follows the Su Ma movements ingrained in him by years of training even at his young age. As you block his attacks, Energy Body absorbing a lot of the damage, you focus entirely on your defense. His attacks hit heavier than his powerlevel would suggest, the weight of all that aura crashing down behind each blow. And even through your Energy Body you can still feel it, after dozens of blows your arms start to ache from all the hits. He attacks relentlessly for nearly a solid minute, then with another roar throws both hands forward, firing a beam that blasts you both away from each other. His energy beam is one of the densest you've ever been hit with, it pushing you back as he flies back, ending the blast after a second and flipping several times before landing on the wall in a three-point stance. But only for a moment, your son immediately kicking off that wall at full power directly at you. He streaks towards you like a missile, left forward and with his right drawn back, you planting your feet and cocking your right arm back as well. Then, once in range, you both roar out, throwing your rights forward.

“HAAAAA!”
“HRRAAA!”

Shouting as one you both swing, fists slamming into each other with tremendous force, you stopping his charge. But that doesn't stop the momentum of all his energy, the wave of ki washing over you an instant after the attacks connect. His aura is so dense it even overpowers the shock wave, sending all of it blasting back into you as well. So, even though you stopped him, his energy still forcing you back like a tidal wave washing over you.

“Dammit!” you seethe through clenched teeth as your heels hit the wall, bringing you to a stop. Bringing both arms up you ready yourself for the follow up, but your son doesn't come forward. Instead he lands on his feet, dropping to a knee and looking at his fist as his power instead begins fading. The mass of energy surrounding him starts shrinking, although his strength remains the same. Seems he's just about finished.

But what do you do?

You watch for a moment as he struggles to maintain his power, then decide to call out to your boy, to give him encouragement and try to help him maintain this new powerful form of his.

“Don't give up kiddo!” you shout, startling your son so bad he looks up from his hand at you. Eyes wide, you can see recognition dawning as he sees you, realizing that you are there with him. Cutting through the rage, but, unfortunately that only accelerates his power fading away. For several seconds he looks at you as the massive power he's wielding dwindles, your son trying to retain some of it. “Come on, you can do it!”

You see him try and maintain his power by raising his powerlevel, but that doesn't affect the power he was using. His vast strength continues to plummet despite your calls to him to maintain it, then with a final flash of light he even powers out of Super Saiyan 3, reverting back to his 'base' form of Super Saiyan. But as he falls you're right there, catching your son before he could fall to the ground. He looks absolutely exhausted, eyes half closed as he looks up at you.

“What was that?” he asks, sounding confused. “That...That power. It felt... Strange.”
“I've never used a power like that before kiddo. You unlocked something special.” you tell him, your son smiling up at you as you rise up, holding him as you walk over to the gravity chamber's control panel. “Now, how about we go wash up?”
“Sou-ounds good.” he says with a yawn, clearly struggling to remain awake. You turn the enhanced gravity off and exit the chamber, heading to the showers and turning one on. As the hot water steams the room your son gets a little more active, stretching in the steady downpour of water before scrubbing the sweat off himself. Once the showers over you both flare your auras a bit to dry off, then put on a couple of training suits that were stored in the shower area for such times. Once dressed, as you both exit the shower room your son turns to you, expression curious. “What happened?”

“A good question. What do you remember?” you ask, your son telling you how he'd hit you with his new attack, only for you to charge at him. Then the next thing he knows you're calling out to him while his power's dropping, but not in the usual way, struggling to hold onto a power he'd never felt before. Once he's done you tell him what happened yesterday as well, how he'd used this power to stop that wizard before he could break into Raven's room or do anything worse to Tatsu and Tomi. But as you tell him of them, his eyes suddenly widen in dread.

“Oh no, I completely forgot! Are they okay!?” he exclaims, genuinely worried about his siblings. But you pat him on the head, voice calming.
“They're fine. You did good yesterday Junior.” you tell him, your son looking both proud and relieved. But then his expression changes, looking more contemplatively up at the ceiling. “Everything okay kiddo?”
“Yeah, it's just... I don't remember what happened yesterday.” he says, turning back to you. “The last thing I remember is that wizard guy shouting some funny sounds, then I woke up this morning back home while everybody else seemed asleep. Does this happen when you transform too?”

“It did, at first. It took training to learn to control my power, to be in control of myself while I used it. But I'm sure you'll learn to control it as well.” you tell him, your son looking relieved. “But we, or at least I have a problem kiddo. Since your sister is back training on Planet Yardrat, I've got no one to train with me here in the mornings after I spar with Freeza.”
“Oh.. Wait, can -I- join you?” he asks, eyes sparkling in excitement. “Can I train with you, and you help me unlock this power?”
“Heh, of course kiddo. I'd like that.” you tell him, patting him on the head. But as the two of you stand there, suddenly another being walks towards you two.

“Well well, seems you've been working early.” Freeza says with a chuckle. “Ready to get to training?”
“Hell yeah.” you reply, nodding to him. “Let's do this.”

You and Freeza go out and start your training, your schedule returning to normal for the remainder of the week you have with your wife, training with Karn Jr instead of Chaya early in the gravity chamber. Luckily nothing else out of the ordinary happens, your days going back to your routine until the seventh day. Where, as you finish your students' training, there is a beam of light that descends down from the heavens. It crashes down right by you all, the multicolor lights fading away to reveal a god and his assistant.

“Haaaaaaah! Mhmm, greetings Saiyans.” Beerus the Destroyer says with a yawn, rubbing his eyes with the back of his right hand. The God of Destruction has returned to New Salda.

But what do you do?

“Good afternoon, Lord Beerus.” you say, giving the Destroyer a proper Saiyan salute. Your students and children, following your example do the same, Beerus waving you all off sleepily. “What brings you here today?”
“Whis told me he was making a trip back to bring his new student back, so I decided to tag along.” he says, still acting sleepy but you see the menace in his half-closed eyes. “I take it you don't have a problem with this?”
“No, this works out great. I've been hoping you'd show back up.” you reply, clenching your fists and flashing up into your Berserker God form. “I have been waiting for your return, as I'd like to ask you something.”

“Oh? This should be good.” he replies, eyes narrowing as he gives you a devious grin. “And what would that be?”
“Want to go another round? If you'd allow it, I'd appreciate a quick, easy spar to test my progress against you.” you reply, letting your power surge as you remain standing atop the gravity chamber roof beside your wife. To which everyone goes deathly silent, looking to the Destroyer to see how he'd react.
“You think to compare yourself to me?” he asks, voice low and menacing as he gives you a narrow-eyed stare, rising up into the air as his aura starts appearing around him. Once he's several feet above you he looks down on you, grinning wickedly. “But if you want me to humble you again, then so be it. Show me this 'progress' you claim to have made.”

“Gladly, Lord Beerus.” you reply, gently floating up in the air, stopping as your eyes draw near level. You leaving him still above you, both as a sign of respect for his power, and to avoid making the God of Destruction angry. After all, you're not here for a death battle, but just a test of your power. “HRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!”

With that roar you power up to one hundred percent, drawing out everything you've got in your Berserker God form. Then, once you've powered up you take your fighting stance, staring down the Destroyer.

“Well, after you.” Beerus says, raising his left hand and gesturing for you to come at him. “Show me what you can do.”
“HAAAAAAA!” you roar, charging at the Destroyer with everything you've got. And as you close in, you can't help but feel a little bit excited. You finally get to go all-out with your Berserker God power again, against someone you don't have to worry about holding back against. This is going to be good.

Not sure if I want to do Chaya’s ‘recovery’ with Elder Pybara, Chilli’s work as unofficial diplomat and defender of the Crimson Demon Village, or one of the SKoT and what she’s up to. Told through the eyes of a rather… Unexpected source
>>
>>5862280
All of them are great
>>
>>5862482
Right? All are good to the point one isn’t head and shoulders above the others, and all are pertinent to the arc. Not to mention the ones I didn’t list, that the story just needs to progress a little further to be relevant as well. Almost makes me want to skip a weekend episode to do more epilogues. ALMOST.
>>
>>5862503
I mean, I dont think anyone would mind if we just spent one weekend running epilogues, lord knows we got a lot of em
>>
>>5862280
While I'm tempted to see this 'unexpected source', I feel like having a look at what Chaya's been up to might be more interesting from a storytelling view. Not saying Chilli's work as a diplomat isn't good in it's own right, it's mostly just me thinking about how our daughter is holding up.
>>
>>5862535
But I would mind. I’m not a QM to simply write a story, for that I don’t need voters or even lurkers reading to do that. >>5862615
Chaya’s whole storyline has been quite something, a story I’d really not planned to happenbut grew mostly naturally. But her story could be the mc of another tale. And the same is true for most of the kids, some more exciting to write(and I presume read) than others. Like Maz and Kayle, they’re going to have a choice soon. One involving Tatsu, Tomi and Tomitsu.
>>
>>5862710
Is it weird that I don't mind chayas dark side shit. I'm more disappointed that she would go through all of that convoluted planning and shady shit, instead of just tackling her problems head on and being honest with her feelings.

Like I know the dark side is inherently a corrupting thing that makes the user seek more power, but it doesn't conflict all that much with karns ethos. She just went about it in a bitch way.

Bane probably knew this.
>>
>>5863020
Chaya tried, but Raditz wanted nothing more to do with her. Then her mother came out, not taking no for an answer. Then when Chaya was planning to murder her for “stealing her man”, Bane convinced her that would instead drive Raditz away for good and should instead get someone else to do it in her place. Or control someone else to do it, then destroy their mind so no evidence it was her could be left behind.
But we see how that went, Raditz was a step ahead
>>

What is Raditz doing currently? Staying far away from Chaya, training to make sure he’s strong enough in case she comes after him again?
>>
>>5863263
He and Redis are very, VERY far away from anywhere even you can sense. He cut a deal, service for sanctuary.

>>5863433
Well that's smart on his part.

Ah yes, the entire set up to Chilli feeling unwanted in a single post.
>>
>>5863444
He doesn’t LIKE his boss, and gets the feeling that its mutual. But results are what counts to both of them, no “personal relationship” needed.
>>5863460
Speaking of, he’s starting to understand from a whole new perspective. Trying to spend time with both of his children on top of time with Megumin, on top of the Crimson Demon Village and his new apprentice, AND his diplomatic allegiances to Nazarick and the Jura Tempest Federation, among others. He gets it.

I decided to go with the Chilli epilogue, as it has a more compelling story for now. Do you know the opposite of Jergal?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 208 Epilogue -

AGE 757, CRIMSON DEMON VILLAGE

“So, you're this 'Crystal Sage' I've heard so much about.” the humanoid demon before you says, smirking as he looks you up and down standing with your family. “I was expecting someone taller.”
“And who are you again?” you ask, remembering Rimuru'd told you about this person, but you can't remember their name. To which he grins a bit wider, introducing himself.
“Forgive me, it seems my name isn't well known in these parts.” he says, giving a mocking, shallow bow. “I am the first Demon Lord, Guy Crimson. First seat and leader of Octogram, the Eight-Star Demon Lords. But you, you may call me Guy.”

“You may call me Chilli.” you reply, holding your hand out towards him. He takes a moment to look from your hand to your face and back, then to your wife holding Kazuburo while Meloka Wolbach looks on no-doubt impatiently, and accepts it. He takes your hand in the custom of this world, hand-to-hand instead of hands on forearms. Then, as you'd expected, he tries to overpower you. He squeezes down while keeping the same smile on his face, wanting to test your might. Clearly unaware or perhaps hiding that he knows how to sense ki, a far easier way to clarify your strengths. So you decide to play this little game, slowly lessening your restraint on your strength as you clamp down. He tries to match your strength as you increase the amount of power you're using, not changing your expression. You watch as his expression changes, going from confident to surprised, to shocked, to pained as he actually winces, something in his hand popping. You don't even get close to full power before his expression turns pained, you letting him go that moment. “The strongest Archwizard on this planet.”

“It does seem that your physical strength lives up to the stories.” he replies, sounding a bit more excited instead of cowed, holding his hand in the other. “I would like to see just how strong you can get.”
“Appreciate it, but I'm busy today.” you reply to him casually, gesturing back to your daughter. “Meloka Wolbach is getting fitted for her first school uniform today, and I promised I'd be there.”
“...I see.” he replies after a moment, sounding confused by what you said. “Well, either way. If you ever want a real challenge, you're more than welcome to come visit me anytime. If you can handle the cold of the Ice Continent and find my Frost Palace, that is.”

“When I have some free time, I might take you up on that. Rimuru spoke highly of your power.” you reply, seeing his expression change as you mention the Demon Slime's name. “But I'll have to get some free time, trouble seems attracted to me.”
“The burden of the mighty.” Guy replies, then after a moment his expression softens, waving as he walks away towards the portal. “I'll be seeing you, Chilli.”

“Can we go now Dad?” Meloka Wolbach asks you, tugging on your sleeve. “Can we?”
“Of course, let's head over to Chekera's.” you reply, your daughter “YAY!”ing and skipping ahead. You hold out a hand to your wife, who smiles and takes your left in her right as you both follow her. You are Chilli, son of Karn, Reaper of Lord Jergal, Crystal Sage, husband to Megumin, and father of Meloka Wolbach and Kazuburo. Your daughter, who is nearly four years old is almost ready to start her first year of school. And, with her starting school, she needs to get fitted for her first school uniform. So, you all as a family head over to Chekera's, the greatest(and only) tailor among the Crimson Demon Clan. His shop's open, your daughter rushing to the door but waiting on the rest of you to catch up before opening it.

“Greetings, Meloka Wolbach! Megumin, Chilli, Kazuburo, good afternoon! What can I do you for today?” he asks, looking back and forth across you all. “Are we here for armor, something flashier for the young lad's birthday tomorrow, or are we getting a certain someone fitted for their school attire?”
“I'm getting my school uniform!” Meloka Wolbach exclaims excitedly, bouncing up and down as the elderly tailor smiles wistfully. “I'm gonna go to school!”
“Ahh, yes, I remember my time in the Red Prison fondly.” the older Crimson Demon Archwizard says, shaking his head after a moment and returning his focus to your daughter. “Very well, let's get you measured.”

“Yaaaaaaaay!” she exclaims, rushing over to where he points. But as he does, suddenly you sense something...Wrong. Suddenly, from the firing field on the other side of your home, you sense one, two, no. Three magical signatures radiating with undead power. One of the three is far, FAR more powerful than anything you've felt from any being on this world before, it actually making you feel slightly nervous.
“Chilli? Everything okay hun?” your wife asks, you turning to see her looking worriedly at you. Kazuburo, however, is also looking out towards that presence you can sense, a second later the town's warning system starts blaring.
“WARNING! IMMENSE UNDEAD PRESENCE DETECTED!” comes the automated voice, you immediately going to the door. But before you rush out, you turn back, giving your daughter an apologetic smile.

“Get fitted kiddo, I should be finished with this and back before he's got you suited up.” you tell her, Meloka Wolbach looking a little disappointed. But you can't spend any more time, as the two powerful undead magic signatures have already summoned thousands more. This needs to be stopped, immediately.

You rush outside, kicking off the ground and soaring into the air, flying over the village and by your home, reaching out and using your crystal magic summon your great sword and staff to your hands as you fly past. As you do, cresting the mountain you see a massive army of undead have already gathered, all radiating with sinister power. But it's not simple necromancy, no. This energy feels familiar, almost.... Divine.

“What the hell is this?” you mutter while studying the rapidly-swelling undead army from the air, only for a sickening beam of inky darkness to fire up from the ground at you. Which is easy enough for you to dodge, following the beam back down to see a tall, gaunt figure with a finger extended while a floating, what can only be described as a ball of rotting flesh with eyes on stalks, the being radiating with necromantic power. But behind the two stands a red-cloaked, masked figure who vanishes as you see them. Seems that you have another undead to hunt down, after this is over. Stupid vampire. But then you see something else, something far, FAR more worrying. There, behind the tall, gaunt figure flies a flag. One with an emblem that makes your blood run cold. On the flag is a purple hexagon with a crown-wearing skull, the emblem you recognize from your study of Jergal's Tome to be that of the god of necromancy.

“Velsharoon.” you mutter darkly, immediately recognizing the threat and calling down in your most authoritative tone. “You, servant of Velsharoon! State your business with this village!”
“My business is not with this pitiful gathering of pretenders, but with you, Reaper!” the tall, gaunt figure says, pointing the staff with a skull on the end at you, then extending a finger holding the staff at you. Then, before you can react, everything becomes pain. While writhing in absolute agony, the pain unbearable and causing you to nearly lose consciousness, a small, calculating part of your mind recognizes the attack as the same one Milha uses on your father repeatedly for him to train his pain resistance against her curses: Finger of Death. The experience is agonizing, but after several seconds it ends, you opening your eyes. And glaring down at the Velsharoon devotee, who seems stunned that you're still alive, much less conscious. “What?!”

“My turn.” you reply, attaching your staff onto your back over the shoulder with a small crystal cluster, then raise your left hand overhead. You take a deep breath, focusing as you start drawing out your REAL power. You pour more and more ki into your attack, quickly forming a ball of energy as big around as your parents' home on New Salda, the attack you'd learned from Freeza blazing with power.

The necromancer serving the god of necromancy is shocked still by your attack, meanwhile the creature beside it turns all its eyes on you, firing dozens of differently-colored beams from its eyes at you. However, you were ready for a counter attack, firing razor-thin beams of ki from your eyes. Your Guided Eye Beams, the perfect attack you'd learned from your own father for countering something like this, rush down and intercept the first attack. You then redirect your attack, using the beams to quickly intercept each attack in turn, your ki punching through the weaker magical rays before you redirect them at the next. Forming a chain that, after intercepting all the attacks redirect back into itself, forming a self-contained loop before sighing out and ending the attack.

Blinking a few times you watch through watery, stinging eyes as the multicolored magical rays chase each other around and around the circle of energy. The attacks make two loops before the energy from your attack fades, sending all twelve beams right back down at the source. The eyeball creature, unable to react in time is struck, it burning, freezing, shocking, yet also healing as the different magics slam into it. Disoriented, the creature falls to the ground, the necromancer looking to it a moment instead of trying another attack. A mistake that would prove to be its downfall.

“Time to die again, abomination. Super....Nova.” you say, dropping the small star-like orb down directly on the gaunt necromancer as well as hundreds of its undead minions. It, the eyeballs creature and most of its horde are engulfed by your blast, the ki exploding in a massive fireball that wipes out most of the rest. You remain where you'd been floating, watching the blast consume the undead horde. However, as your attack fades, you see the one you presume to be some manner of lich is still standing in the newly-made crater, flesh considerably burnt and smoking yet he's still standing. It is looking up at you, the creature drawing a small hourglass out in its free hand.

“Time Ravage!” it says, the hourglass vanishing as once more a wave of magic washes over you. You feel it coursing throughout your body, strength fading as you see your hand seemingly aging rapidly. Within seconds your hand looks as if it belongs to someone older than your grandfather's was upon his last days, looking frail and weak. You no longer even have the strength to hold your Moonlight Greatsword, the weapon slipping from your fingers and falling to the ground below. “Heh heh heh, now YOU will die, Reaper. Suffer the ravages of time, your body failing, the strength of your youth stolen from you!”

“You think that, that time can stop me?” you ask, voice sounding wizened and slightly hoarse as you slowly drop out of the air, unable to maintain your level hovering. “I am Chilli, son of Karn. Greatest Archwizard of the Saiyans, Crystal Sage, one of Lord Jergal's Reapers and wielder of Disparity. One who has battled the Goddess of Time and killed one of the Lords of Order. And now I'll show you how outclassed you are. Chaos Magic: Time Obliteration!”

With pure, bright light magic in one hand and abyssal darkness in the other, you swing your hands together right at your chest, combining them at the moment of impact and allowing those magical energies to course throughout your body. The darkness blocks out the light, while the light pulls yet more light out from your body. Undoing time, destroying it in the darkness as your body is returned to how it was several seconds ago. Then, ending your technique you stand before the taller lich creature, strength and youth restored as if its attack never happened.

“You cannot beat me, not with your pitiful magic.” you tell the creature, who seems absolutely shocked that you've already recovered from being aged to near-death. “Crystal Magic Sealer!”

Then you toss a blade of crystal at him, the wizard raising his staff. But before he can cast another spell it stabs into his chest but otherwise does nothing, the being looking down in confusion then back up to you with a smug expression.

“And what was that supposed to do?” he asks, you snapping your fingers while activating the second half.
“Crystallize.” you say, the crystal embedded in his chest expanding. The wizard looks back down, eyes widening as it sees the crystal growing and encasing its body within. “It's over.”
“Wh-What? This canno-!” he shouts, the crystals encasing him completely before his shout can finish. Then it tries to cast another spell, to do something to break free, except you'd encased him within a Crystal Magic Sealer. So, when he tries the entire crystal flashes, absorbing the spell. You walk over, grabbing the crystal tomb with your left and launch it straight into the air, drawing your right back while gathering your ki.

“Final Shine Attack.” you say, remembering your grandfather's attack from seeing him before in the world of the dead. Firing a beam of green ki up at the wizard, consuming it and the crystal encasing it as well, obliterating the being completely. Lowering your hand you sigh out, turning and picking your sword back up out of the ground before flying home. You stop, dropping off your staff and sword on the roof before flying back down to the village, telepathically telling Chief Hiropon what had happened.

You tell him what happened, how it was a disciple of the Lich-Lord Velsharoon that attacked and how powerful its magics were. And that, had you not had your Chaos magic to undo it, you'd have been aged to death.

“Hrmm, a powerful lich indeed.” Hiropon replies, you almost seeing him stroking his chin in thought. “We'll have to prepare a few countermeasures, should this one return. You didn't happen to find and destroy its phylactery, did you?”
“No, unless he was arrogant enough to keep it on him.” you reply, dropping down and landing softly outside Chekera's tailor shop. “I'll think on a few counters, have something ready for his return.”

You then end the mental link, opening the door to the shop. The bell chimes a couple times, you seeing your wife and young son sitting on a couple chairs, Chekera coming out from behind the screen he'd put up.

“Ahh, perfect timing! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I give you the newest student of the esteemed Red Prison: Meloka Wolbach!”

Gesturing to his side your daughter steps around the makeshift wall, you seeing your little girl looking very grown up. She steps out in the uniform, black robe over pink collared shirt that ends in a pleated skirt, grinning from ear to ear at seeing you standing there beside her mother and younger brother. And seeing that smile warms your heart, one of the three most precious smiles in the world. One you'd do ANYTHING to protect.

I had a thought earlier. When Karn dies, he's probably not going to Hell, is he?
He's too much of a threat to risk his soul being bound by another malicious necromancer. That's thanks to his own strength and the nature of his soul.
Either his soul is going to be erased or he's gonna be banished to Limbo for eternity. Honestly, I can't decide which one sounds worse.
There's at least one good fight there if GD knows his stuff though.
