After gaining all seven Dark Dragon Balls, thanks in no small part to Karn and his family's efforts, Mechikabura prepares for his revival: the Dark King's return is nigh! And with their powers gained in the effort to combat the God of Destruction, Lord Beerus, Karn and Meloka seek to master the strength of gods in preparation for the coming final battle between the Time Breakers and the Time Patrol. However, despite the PTO now comfortably ruling the majority of the known universe, threats still lurk there in the shadows. Beings who, for their own reasons, seek revenge against the Saiyan race. Will the Saiyans prevail? Or will their efforts all be in vain, overcome by their enemies past, present, and future?

You the players control Karn, the Berserker God with the power to fight against gods and other divine beings. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, he has now become the strongest Saiyan of his time. Wielding the Berserker Soul, a power born of rage and hatred now combined with That Which Should Not Be, Karn has gained powers suited to facing the divine, and even those who wield the powers of Order, Law, and even Time itself. But will this newfound strength be enough to overcome the threats headed your way? Only time will tell, and your choices could be the difference between victory and defeat, winning and losing, even existence and not.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Meloka returned to new Salda, enjoying a feast with Beerus and Whis before having a spar with Karn. The next day, after a night together alone, they returned to their usual days on New Salda, Karn training with Freeza while Meloka spent time with the kids, then when he went to train with Chaya she wasn't there. Learning that she was the one that had nearly killed one of your own to get at Raditz's girl. Then, after subduing her and forcing her to confess to the one she'd attacked, Karn and Meloka take her to Elder Pybara on Yardrat, to try and help her after a heart-to-heart. Then, after leaving her in the elder's care Karn and his wife traveled to Dreadzone to secure the video of their daughter's mental break, Vox exchanging agreeing to delete all video of it in exchange for removing his two problems Chaya was supposed to handle. The first was handled, thanks in part to Chilli taking the wizard and his exploding fuzzballs away, but as we rejoin Karn it is time for the second one.

“He's gone, Chilli took him off-world.” you think to Vox, standing in the now-empty hanger beside your wife as the two of you power back down to your base forms and telepathically reach out to its owner. “One problem solved.”
“While I wanted him to suffer, this could be a...Beneficial turn of events. Especially if he can be convinced to use his powers to compensate for the damage he caused.” Vox replies, you picturing the smug look on his face. “Now, one down one to go. Sinestro's going to be brought into the arena in around ten minutes, once he's there in his fight we'll have you go in. Speaking of....How will you two handle this? While I think either of you at full power going in there could overwhelm him, having you both team up on him and make a display of power could be interesting as well. Especially with what he's been saying about you.”

“Like what?” Meloka asks, not sounding angry but curious.
“Oh, you know, the usual weakling talk. 'That wasn't the REAL Beerus, he wasn't trying' and 'He let you all live, he could have killed you easily'. That sort of thing.” Vox replies, then adds in. “Oh, and not to mention 'And once I kill Chaya, then they'll come for me. THEN I'll put on a show and expose how weak they really are.' Things like that.”
“Oh really now?” Meloka replies, turning to you and asking aloud. “What do you think hun? How do you want to do this?”

Well?
>You'll take him yourself. You still have some anger to work out after what happened with Chaya earlier
>Let Meloka have this one, you're curious what all she's been learning while away
>Jumping him together could be fun, you haven't fought together since Beerus after all

I see the appeal of showing up as a surprise "Fuck you, now you die" challenger to send a message, but I feel like the jumping is obligatory. He not only threatened our daughter, but he shittalked us AND our wife. You fuck with one of them, you fuck with ALL of the Clan. Sinestro will be eating his big talk through a straw.

“You know, he said he could take both of us. So, I say we both go after him.” you tell your wife. “We haven't had a chance to fight anyone together since Beerus, it could be fun.”
“Sure thing.” she replies, your wife giving you a small smile as the two of you reach back out to Vox. “We'll take him together.”
“Excellent. I'll inform Tanya to reactivate the elevator, she'll lead you to the arena.” Vox replies. “I'll leave it to the two of you how you want to make your entrance.”

He then ends the mental link, you and your wife returning to the elevator. Once in you press the return button, but nothing happens immediately. So, you telepathically reach out to Tanya, and a moment later it begins rising. The trip back up is uneventful, the door opening to reveal all the soldiers still posted. No doubt to head down and start the cleanup procedure.

“Very well done. Perhaps the boss should have called you from the start?” Tanya asks jokingly, leading you back into the other elevator along with an escort of guards. “But, I must say. Letting him live is an interesting choice, coming from you.”
“I let Chilli take him.” you reply, her eyes widening a bit. Clearly, Vox hadn't told her that part. “If he's a threat, our son'll handle him appropriately. But neither I nor my wife are very good against magic. Hell, I already killed him once.”
“I...See...” she replies, clearly unsure how to continue the conversation for several moments of silence. “Right, Sinestro. He's powerful, but his powers come from that ring on his hand. Separate him from it, he'll be powerless.”

“I'll keep that in mind.” Meloka replies, the elevator coming to a stop again and the three of you, along with the robotic bodyguards all file out. She leads you all to one of the arenas, but instead of going through the doors you know of, looks around then jumps straight into the air. You and Meloka share a glance, then follow, Tanya's boots propulsing her up and over the arena proper. Where you three, along with three of the bodyguards who have thrusters as well can look down on the arena. Where an unfamiliar contestant is battling more of Vox's weaker robots. They fight for another few minutes until the younger warrior takes a laser shot to the chest, dropping down to a knee. More than a dozen of the robots all level their weapons, readying themselves to end the contestant. But, before they do the young woman passes out, falling flat to the ground. The crowd cheers, as excited for a warrior's defeat as their triumph while the familiar announcer declares they've lost. At this one of the dropships flies past the six of you, landing near the downed warrior. The remaining metal men unceremoniously pick up and toss into the hold the fighter, automatic door closing as the ship flies up and away, past you all again.

“And now, ladies and gentlemen, we have a special showing for you tonight!” Dallas, the male commentator declares as the metal warriors return in another dropship, while a third then comes down. “You've seen him on the battlefield of Catacrom Four, you've seen him annihilate the Marauder challenge! And now, tonight he's here to take on the Vindicator Tournament! Put your hands together for Sinestro!”

The crowd cheers as the door opens, the red skinned man not touching the ground as he floats out. But as he's there in the empty arena, Tanya turns to you both.

“So, how do you want to do this?” she asks, the cheers ringing from down below. “Want to wait and see how he fights firsthand, or go down there and take him now?”
“Up to you hun.” Meloka says, clearly content to follow your lead.

I always look forward to Bane's commentary, and watching him run a gauntlet gives us enough time to observe his way of fighting AND talk to our ghost buddy.

“We'll watch for a round or two, to see what he's got before engaging directly.” you tell Tanya, who nods. Meloka crosses her legs, sitting on nothing as you all look down at him. Meanwhile, several dropships lower down, unleashing their compartments of soldiers before firing down on the yellow-aura'd fighter. Who hardly seems to try, that yellow energy shrouding him in a similar manner to your Energy Body as he raises his ringed hand towards them. Firing a scattering of energy bolts like Meloka's Ki Needles from it as he sweeps his arm, destroying the couple dozen mechanical soldiers with practiced precision. He doesn't even miss a single shot, taking them all down before leaping into the air, avoiding the missiles fired from the ships. He flies over to them, punching through each and destroying them as well before returning to the arena ground. Still not touching it, hovering slightly over the ground.

“With practiced precision, Sinestro's easily cleared the first wave!” Dallas shouts over the crowd's cheers, the red-skinned man looking down at his ring for a few seconds before more of the dropships fly past you, Meloka, and Tanya. “Without a single motion wasted, he's on to the next wave!”
“He's good.” Meloka mutters, hand resting on her chin as you all watch the next wave drop down. This time the metal soldiers are accompanied by green bug-like creatures with blades sprouting from their forearms, who rush the yellow-aura'd fighter as the soldiers sit back and fire at him from range. Sinestro smirks at the bug-like creatures, creating a blade of yellow energy in his left hand and putting his right behind his back while raising the weapon up in front of him in a salute.

“Come.” he says, the closest creature leaping at him. With lightning-quick movement he lunges, thrusting the sword straight through its neck and tearing it free, decapitating the monster and killing it in a single strike.
“Makashi? Interesting.” Darth Bane's specter says, you glancing to him before returning your attention to the battle below. You watch as Sinestro, with elegant blocks and devastating thrusts destroys the dozen bug-like creatures, out-skilling them severely. “Impressive, each one dispatched with a single strike.”
“He's good.” Meloka says, you all watching as he kills the last one and disperses his blade. However, you notice something interesting. Instead of simply dispersing that energy, you see that he actually recalls that energy back inside the ring itself before shooting needle-thin rays at the other ranged fighters. Seems he's conscious of preserving the ring's energy. “But that's not all. That yellow energy isn't his.”

“You can sense it?” you ask, unable to feel that power at all. “What is it?”

“It's divine energy.” Tanya answers, you both turning to her. “I'm a god too, remember? I can sense it as well. We've been tracking the energy readings from that ring since he first approached, since I detected his coming here. And there's something else you should know. That ring, it's divine power is greater than my own, or even Chaya's. It is greater than anything we've detected, even when Lord Beerus was here.”
“No way, really?” you reply, remembering your fight with the Destroyer. However, it wasn't like the fight on New Salda, the Destroyer barely unleashing any might here at the station. “I see. What do you think hun?”

“Waiting on trying to tire him out, or to burn out that ring's energy against Vox's minions is a waste of time.” your wife answers. She gets out of her sitting position, raising her arms overhead and stretching. “Guess we'd better head on down.”
“Right.” you reply, turning to Tanya. “Thanks for the heads up.”
“Good luck.” she replies, you and Meloka exchanging a final glance before you both start descending. Then, suddenly, all the arena lights go out.

“Ladies and gentlemen, it! Is! TIME!” Dallas shouts over the confused calls from the audience. “Tonight we've got an incredible show for you all! You know them, you love them! Put your hands together for the strongest couple in the universe! The Dragon of New Salda Karn and his wife, the Super Saiyan Goddess Meloka!”

And as if on cue your wife transforms, ascending into her divine form. You do the same, transforming into your Berserker God state as the two of you drop down, the only other light besides the two of yours being the glowing light of Sinestro's yellow aura. The crowd goes absolutely wild at this, you and your wife landing in front of the red-skinned man.

“So, heard you've been wanting to see me.” you tell him, looking down on the much smaller man. “Well, I'm here now.”
“So you are.” he replies, looking you up and down. “I'd expected you to be bigger.”
“What do you want with our daughter?” Meloka asks him, the red-skinned man looking to your wife. His eyes narrow at her, clearly recognizing her divine power as well. “Talk.”
“I only wanted to kill her to get to you both.” he replies, smirking confidently. “But, now that you're here, she's irrelevant. Now that you are here, I shall kill you both. Showing the universe that -I- am to be feared. Even more than either of you, or the former emperor you serve.”

“Bring it.” you reply, clenching your fists and blazing your aura up around you. Immediately you condense it around you, your Energy Body glowing around you much as Sinestro's divine aura does for him as Meloka leaps back. Sinestro glances towards her as she retreats, you immediately lunging forward and swinging at him with a heavy right. You charging draws his focus back on you, creating a simple, slightly-spherical shield around his left to block your strike. However, he clearly underestimates your power, the simple punch cracking the construct and sending him flying backwards.

But that's not all he does, leveling his ring at you he sends the shield flying at you. You charge straight at it, this time firing off a heavy left and shattering it completely. Charging through the shards, Sinestro's righted himself, leveling his ring at your face.

“Perish.” he says simply, and fires. Just as he had with the robots, he fires a needle-thin beam, clearly unaware of your strength. But just in case you raise your left arm, swatting it away. Instead of simply knocking the construct away, however, your ki-clad arm shatters his yellow blast. His eyes widen slightly, but other than that his only reaction is to let out a soft “Oh.” Sinestro then gathers more power, the ring's face shining bright before firing off a storm of those needle-like attacks. Giving up precision in exchange for overwhelming firepower. But you don't slow down, crossing your arms in front of your eyes you don't need to see, sensing his attacks coming now you harden your Energy Body a bit more and charge straight into the storm. Immediately you feel dozens of the needles hit your Energy Body, none piercing deep enough to actually strike your flesh as you keep charging. “What?”

“HRRAAAAA!!” you roar, kicking off the ground to blitz through the storm, slamming your still-crossed arms into him and sending the yellow-clad fighter flying back, crashing into the barrier separating the fighters from the audience as they cheer. As he bounces off the wall, however, Meloka directs a couple dozen of her Warding Eyes towards him, then fires a Death Beam into one. The energy strikes, splitting and spreading from the one orb until they're all connected, forming a web of energy entrapping Sinestro.

“Die.” your wife says simply, ready to end this already. “Hellzone Prison!”

The prison then contracts, bringing those cutting beams down at him from all sides. Yet his divine energy matches his own, forming a spherical barrier around his body that stops her attack. Not perfectly, as you can see her energy cutting into his own, slowly carving away at it. But he'll be finished off soon enough if he can't escape. So, the warrior observes the perdicament he's in, and after a moment changes his approach. Shifting the shape of his sphere into more of a cone, he drives it through a space between the orbs, creating a hole just wide enough for him to slip through, escaping her attack. Only to look up and see you appear right in front of him with Instant Transmission, lacing your fingers together overhead.

“HAAAAA!” you roar, swinging down as his shield reverts back into it's more spherical shape, more easily absorbing the damage of your two handed axe handle blow. The yellow shield cracks from the force of your attack, you sending him and his shield crashing into the lava moat surrounding the fighting stage below. However, you know that's not enough, his shield will probably protect him from that and so back off, flying back over the arena proper as you sense him moving. Instead of jumping right back out at the both of you, he instead flies through the lava, going behind you both to where he's closer to Meloka. No doubt thinking he can sneak up on her. You don't turn to face Sinestro as he comes to a stop, ready to emerge for his sneak attack, just in case he can sense your own energy.

All is quiet for a few moments, even the announcers not speaking. As if everyone knows it isn't over yet, waiting to see what happens next. Then, Sinestro emerges, rising from the lava like a rocket, shedding his shield and firing a storm of needles not at you this time, but at Meloka. Sensing this you kick off the ground upside-down, closing the distance and flipping around into a front flipping axe kick. Yet to your surprise, he twists, narrowly evading your kick and flying up past you towards your wife.

“Shit!” you snarl, heel slamming into the ground and kicking up a massive spray of dust and floor fragments as Sinestro flies past you. You turn, watching as your wife seemingly casually uses her Warding Eyes to catch each of the needles he fires easily. He closes the distance, ending the spray of needles and creating a pair of blades instead, one in each hand as he draws them back. However, at this Meloka smirks, sending out a couple Warding Eyes to each of his hands, binding them up and slamming them together. Stopping his charge short and holding him in place. Completely exposed to her counterattack.

“What?!” he exclaims as her energy stops his charge short, your wife grinning wickedly while drawing her twin Ki Blades and lunging forward. You watch as she draws them back, swinging the left blade in a horizontal cut aimed at his guts. You watch as his ring glows even brighter, Meloka's Warding Eyes binding him then shatter as his yellow energy engulfs him. Her blade is stopped short by his energy, her sword cutting through but not deep enough to reach Sinestro as he forms it into the image of a dragon, the yellow beast roaring defiantly as it's shape is realized.

“Woah! Now THAT'S a statement!” Dallas declares, Sinestro looking from your wife to you with a smug grin on his face. “Facing 'The Dragon of New Salda' with a dragon of your own winged lizard is one way to declare war!”
“Someone's clearly feeling confident. Now, let's see if he can back it up.” Juanita replies, the two announcers no doubt enjoying the show. Along with the audience, who are cheering far louder at this than anything you've heard today yet.

“GROOAAAAR!” his yellow dragon construct bellows again, Sinestro remaining inside as he lunges at your wife. She backs off, firing a storm of Death Beams from her Warding Eyes trying to stop him. Her beams pierce into the construct, but not deep enough to actually reach him. They don't stop it either, the beast roaring again and bellowing forth a column of yellow fire. “GRRAAAAAA!!”
“Dammit!” you mutter, raising your right hand to your forehead and focusing on Sinestro's ki signature. His energy is dwarfed by the divine power of that ring's construct, but you can still clearly feel his energy. As he charges your wife, you lock on, then teleport directly behind the man inside his dragon. The instant you do, you clench your left fist, ready to swing. Before he notices you, your left fist slams into his spine. “HAAAA!”

“GYAAAH?!” he exclaims as your punch knocks him straight OUT of his construct, the yellow dragon continuing to chase Meloka as he's knocked down to the ground. His aura around him is cracked, which you only see for a second before he hits the ground. Disappearing inside the sudden dust cloud. You glance to Meloka as she retreats from the construct, her Death Beams now starting to cut further and further into it. Carving it up now without the ring's continued power output restoring the damage. Leaving her to it you drop down, feet-first at the cloud where Sinestro'd landed. However, before you hit him a massive beam of yellow light is fired at you, leaving you nowhere to dodge. So, crossing your arms you flip downward head first and tank the blast, the force of his attack only slowing your charge down slightly. “What? Impossible!”

“HAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, charging through the beam and rapidly closing in on him. Forcing the yellow-clad warrior to end the attack, switching to a spherical shield a moment before impact. You draw your right back, swinging with your full power into his defense with the plan of charging through, driving your fist through his chest as well. And to his clear shock, your strike shatters the barrier. It stops your charge, but you destroy it in a single strike.

The red-skinned man's jaw drops at this, clearly not expecting you to break his shield so easily. But you'd not expected it to be sturdy enough to actually stop you, leaving you both staring at each other for a split-second of surprise. You both recover at the same instant, twisting your upper body and going into a heavy left fist, while he creates another blade in his left, thrusting it at you. Your fist slams into the point of his single-edged blade, your fist shattering the weapon as the tip stabs into your hand. The point pierces your fist between your second and third knuckles, the point having deflected up off your wedding band. A blow that would have completely severed that finger otherwise.

Gritting your teeth against the pain, recoiling you twist into a right turning kick, your boot slamming into his ring hand and knocking it towards his right side an instant before he can fire another attack from it. Following up on the motion you continue the twist, bringing your left around in a roundhouse aimed at his temple. Again he creates a slightly-spherical shield, bringing it up just in time to stop your kick from knocking his head off. Instead the blow knocks him off his feet, sending him sliding across the arena floor while you land. Then, with a final roar you look up, seeing your wife having bisected the dragon construct it finally shatters, the pieces dissolving into motes of yellow light as the crowd cheers.

“And that's one dragon down, I wonder how many more Sinestro's got, Juanita?” Dallas asks his robotic co-host.
“He probably won't go for the same trick twice, not when it doesn't help him get the win.” she replies, you rushing Sinestro while he's still down. Fully planning to end this fight here and now. However, as you swing, his body turns translucent, your right fist striking nothing as it should have hit him. Instead, your fist crashes into the ground, Sinestro smirking at you as he then phases into the ground.
“Tch!” you exhale through clenched teeth, pulling your hand out of the ground then going to the blade fragment still stuck in your left hand, grasping it and with a quick motion draw it free. Your blood flows for a moment until you reharden your Energy Body, compressing the injury and staunching the flow. You'll take care of that after the fight's complete. “Is that all you can do? Run away?”

“Not quite.” Sinestro replies, however it isn't him. Or, rather, isn't ONLY him. More than a dozen Sinestro all fly up and out of the ground, solidifying as all their rings begin glowing, that same yellow energy forming a sheathe around all bodies simultaneously. Then, with a smirk they all point their rings up, firing their light into the air. Confused, you turn to see what they're shooting, only for your jaw to drop at the construct they create. But that can't be, it's impossible! That monster doesn't exist, you un-created it and made sure it would never be born!

Not gunna vote, but I think this bait, I don't think Sinestro remade Lying Eyes Requiem, rather I think he used the yellow light to make our deepest fear/something we fear manifest. “N-No, that's not possible. I erased you!” you shout up at the eye, feeling a chill crawl up your spine as you remember how helpless you were against this Stand before. You actually feel yourself taking a step back, looking down and seeing your arms trembling slightly. Feeling this, you clench your fists, gathering up every ounce of power you've got. Your Energy Body shatters, aura blazing as emerald bolts of lightning crackle around you.
“You will know fear.” the Sinestro dozen all say together, each one still firing their rings up at the giant eye to keep it going. “If -I- cannot beat you, then your greatest foe can!”

“DIVINE DRAGON FORCE!” you roar, summoning forth your Stand to confront it by your side, too terrified to think of another course of action.
“GRRROOOOOAAAAR!!” your Stand bellows, appearing wrapped around your fist with its eyes blazing with emerald fire. However, before you jump up to attack it, another voice speaks to you.
“Karn, be wary. Something is not right here.” Darth Bane's specter says, appearing by your side. “He's using your fear against you.
“Huh?” you ask, but before the phantom can answer Lyin' Eyes Requiem speaks.
FALL” the floating Stand declares, weight unlike almost anything you've ever felt before crashes down on you. You're doubled over yet remain on your feet, the ground shattering beneath you from the force of the Stand construct's power. “KNEEL

Again the force pressing down on you doubles, your knees buckling as you drop down to all fours.

“Gaah!” you exclaim, even with all your power you're still helpless before the unbelievably powerful Stand's might.
“Karn, it isn't real. That construct, it isn't the Stand you faced before.” Bane tells you. “He's feeding on your fear. Much like the technique I showed you back during that siege, he is absorbing your fear to empower his construct. It is only as powerful as you are afraid of it.”
“It-It's not real?” you ask, speaking aloud to him. The Sith phantom nods, closing his own eyes.

“Search your feelings, you know that it's true.” Bane tells you. “Do not let this Fear control you, and destroy this Sinestro once and for all.”
“Right.” you reply, closing your eyes and focusing. Expanding your ki sense, searching for the REAL Sinestro. Immediately you discover he isn't among those maintaining the floating eye, but rising up out of the arena right behind you! And even though you're still pinned down, you know just how to take this bastard down! “HAAAAAAAA!!”

Focusing your ki through your eyes, you fire twin piercing beams down. Then, once they pierce through the arena floor you redirect them up behind you, at the man thinking he's stealthy.

“Karn, look out!” Meloka shouts from the air, LER turning towards her. But then, as Sinestro prepares to lunge at your seemingly-exposed back, your twin beams blast up throught the ground, piercing him through his left elbow and knee.
“GYAH?!” he exclaims, you feeling him crumple as his weight crashes down on his left. But you're not done, redirecting the beams around again, this time aimed at his head. You feel him create another spherical shield, but it isn't enough, your beams slowly piercing through it. “No, I cannot fall here!”
“DIE!” you snarl, your beams piercing through the remainder of his shield and piercing through his head, punching far easier through his flesh than that of the energy of his barrier and making twin holes through his brain. Sinestro goes limp, his shield fading away. You look up to see the copies of himself and even Lying Eyes Requiem all begin fading away as well. However, before the floating eye disappears, it shouts one last time.

NO. I DO NOT FALL HERE” it declares, and to your horror it STOPS fading. It reforms itself back fully opaque, refusing to fall. “I CANNOT LOSE
“Dammit!” you snarl, pushing back up to your feet. You got Sinestro, but it seems that, even as a copy, Lyin' Eyes Requiem won't go down easy.

But what now? You killed Sinestro, but this thing's still here. You don't have your Stand's Wish available either, it having used so much power the other day to restore all those Sangheili. What do you do? What CAN you do?

Well? What now?

As you stare down the giant eye, suddenly you have an idea. If that yellow ring was what created it, then that ring can probably un-make it as well. With that thought in mind, you turn, dropping back down to a knee and grab the man's left wrist. Holding his hand up, you spot the ring. But, before you can take the ring off, it flies off the man's hand. Seemingly on its own, shrouded in its own yellow energy, the ring floats there before you a moment.

THAT RING IS MINE” LER declares, suddenly pulling the ring towards itself. Only for it to suddenly start flying away from the Stand construct, seemingly on its own. It grows just large enough to fit on your right hand's middle finger, sliding onto your hand in a perfect fit. And, as it does, you feel an unfamiliar power start to seep into your hand. The divine power stored within the ring conflicts with your Berserker God power, your own energy fighting its pull and resisting that power. So you power down, the ring resizing to your finger as you sigh out and let that power flow throughout your body. “NO! THAT RING IS MINE!

“No, this world isn't yours to control.” you reply, raising the ring and pointing it at the floating eye.
NO” it replies, firing a beam of yellow light at you. However, instead of hitting you, it hits Sinestro's corpse, you suddenly sensing his ki reappearing. But you don't focus on that, your full attention on the monstrous eye.
“This ends now!” you shout, envisioning the eye disappearing. And, as you have the thought, the ring fires a beam towards it. Which envelops the giant eye, and as you watch starts shrinking it down. “BEGONE!”

NO! NOO! NOOOOOooooo-!!” it roars, voice going higher and higher pitch until it vanishes along with the eye itself. You did it, Lyin' Eyes Requiem is gone.
“You... That... My ring....” Sinestro says, looking up at you in shock. Seemingly stunned that you have his ring of power on your hand. “How? How is this possible?”

You look down at the man, trying to decide what to do next. But, as you do, suddenly the divine power of the ring abandons you. The power retreats from your body back into the ring, it flying off your finger back to his own. The moment it goes back to him his unfamiliar clothes revert back to the uniform he'd been wearing for the entire fight, the bright yellow glow returning to his eyes. Seems that this battle may not be as over as you'd thought.

“What did you...How am I back?” he asks you, looking from you to his ring and back. “Did you return my life back to me?”
“No, that wasn't me.” you reply, gesturing vaguely up towards where his construct was. “That was your monster's doing. It's last act was to restore you. Probably so the ring would go back to you and keep me from un-making it. Luckily for you.”

Then with a thought power back up, retaking your Berserker God form. He reflexively puts his personal barrier up, shielding his body from your sudden surging power.

“So, you want to keep going? Or was one death enough?” you reply, ready to keep fighting. However, Sinestro simply sighs out, shaking his head.
“The rules here are to the death. You killed me, so you won.” he replies, then turns and calls up to Dallas and Juanita. “Isn't that right?”
“I, uhh, well...” Dallas stammers, not sure how to answer his question. While Juanita comes up with a more practical response.
“What do you think everyone? Have Karn and Meloka won?” she calls, to which the arena's stands erupt in cheers. Then, once they die down, she asks another question. “Or, should they keep fighting until one of them STAYS dead?”

At her suggestion they cheer as loud as they had a moment earlier, perhaps even louder. You can't tell for sure, but both cheers were quite loud.

“I think they want this fight to continue.” she says, a real sadistic edge to her monotone voice. “Let's see some carnage! I want to watch you bleed!”

“You think this place's rules mean anything to me?” you ask him, Sinestro's eyes widening a bit in what could be worry, the red-skinned warrior backing up from you and taking to the air. “There's only one reason I'm here. You don't get to threaten my daughter, to try and hurt me by going after her, and just walk away.”
“I figured you would say something like that.” he replies, raising his ring towards you. However, as he does, suddenly a pair of crimson Ki Blades sprout from his chest. He looks down, stunned before your wife tears them free, nearly bisecting him. Sinstro's blood sprays as he falls, landing on all fours at your feet. You rush forward, raising your left to stomp him out. Yet the warrior doesn't fall that easily, again creating his shield. Which shatters as you stomp down on it, but saves him from being executed. “Guyah! I won't fall here!”

The bright yellow light explodes out from his ring, similarly to your own Explosive Wave. But you plant your feet, resisting the force of the blast as you feel Sinestro rising up once more.

“In blackest day, in brightest night, beware your fears made into light.” Sinestro calls out, more and more light radiating from him as that power swells. But you feel something else, something more. Whatever is powering his ring, he's trying to SUMMON it! “Let those who try to stop what's right burn like my power, Sinestro's might!”

You then feel it, divine power stronger than anything you've felt short of Beerus the Destroyer himself surge forth. Screams of terror erupt from the audience as the blinding yellow light fades, condensing into a single being. It looks vaguely reptillian, vaguely insectoid with a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, devil-like horns and eyes blazing with hate as it sees you.

“YOU!” it declares, eyes flashing bright as suddenly immense, intense pressure squeezes down on your head as if in a vice.
“GRRRRRAAAA!!” you snarl through the pain, realizing that it is trying to control your mind. Summoning back Divine Dragon Force once more you charge the entity, who creates a wall of that same yellow power. “GO!”
“GRRRROOOAAAAAR!!” your Stand roars, slamming into the shield. And, to all of your surprise pierces through it as if the shield weren't there, your charge carrying you through and slamming your fist into the construct's own head. DDF shoots through the being's skull, exploding out the back and wrapping around it, bringing it's eyes blazing with emerald fire up to the creature's. “PERISH!”

And in a flash, your Stand activates its power, turning the construct's power against itself.

”NO, THIS CANNOT BE!” the creature declares, trying to do something to resist. But with its powers turned against its body it can do nothing except writhe, trying to escape Divine Dragon Force's hold on it as its body disintegrates from the point of impact. You watch as the strange, unsettling being is destroyed, then turn your attention back to Sinestro. Who isn't even looking at you, but at where the creature was just moments ago.

“That's impossible. Parallax can't be dead.” he says, looking down at his ring. However, before he can do anything else with it, one of Meloka's Death Slashes cuts through his wrist, severing his hand from his body. “Gaah?!”
“It's over!” you shout, dashing to the red-skinned man and driving your Stand-clad fist through his chest as well. Divine Dragon Force binds him in place, bringing its face up to his own. “End him.”
“Understood.” Divine Dragon Force replies, eye-flames blazing brighter. Sinestro's body begins disintegrating as well out from the point of impact, the man no longer resisting. Instead he simply closes his eyes, leaning his head back towards the sky.

“I never stood a chance.” he mutters before his body is erased completely, disappearing into motes of golden light that vanish after a few moments. You did it, you beat him. The crowd continues cheering as the announcers declare your victory, their roars starting to irritate you as you turn to your wife, both of you powering down as you prepare to leave. However, as you raise your right hand to your forehead, the ring itself rises, yellow aura glowing around it.

“What's this? Does the ring itself intend to keep fighting?” Dallas shouts, shocked as the ring face turns up towards the sky. What is it going to do now?

Well? What now?

As the ring floats there, you realize that now's your chance. Before it can find someone else to attach to, another being like Sinestro to recreate impossibly powerful beings like Lyin' Eyes Requiem, you decide to take it for yourself. So you step forward, reaching out for it with your right. Only for the ring, as your hand starts to close around it, slips up and through your fingers.

“Huh?” you mutter, the ring hovering just over your hand, almost as if taunting you before shooting straight up into the sky. “No you don't!”

Again you try reaching for it, your speed faster than the ring itself. But again it somehow slips right through your fingers like water, just brushing against your fingertips as it escapes your grasp. But you're done playing around, that ring is NOT getting away!

“Divine Dragon Force!” you call, summoning your Stand back once more as you and the ring leave the arena below behind, chasing it down. Your Stand lunges, teeth snapping and holding the ring in its mouth. Only for the ring itself to, just as Sinestro had earlier, phase through your Stand's teeth and keep flying. Launching itself straight at the tiny, blonde woman with wide eyes watching this all unfold. “Don't let that ring escape!”

But it doesn't try avoiding Tanya, in fact the ring shoots straight at her right hand. Shrinking down, it jumps onto her right hand's middle finger. You watch as that yellow light expands out around her, her uniform itself turning bright yellow. And the gemstone worn on the chain around her neck changes as well, shifting from a red to glowing golden, the emblem of the ring appearing faintly within it through the glow as her eyes shine golden. Seems that the ring has found a new host.

“Woah. This thing's even more powerful than I first thought.” she says, looking closer at the ring. She stares deeply at it for several seconds, then with clear effort closes her eyes, the yellow glow fading as your wife flies up beside you. She and you both watch as Tanya suppresses the ring, the symbol disappearing from her gem as she returns to normal. Or, at least, normal for her. She then opens her eyes, which return to their normal blue as she holds her right hand out towards you. “But I don't need this. If you want it, I think I can tell it to go to you.”
“Nah, if you can control it then it should be fine.” you reply, shaking your head. “It's incompatible with my Berserker God powers, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to find someone else to send after my daughter.”
“Well, you don't have that to worry about.” Tanya replies casually. “I've had enough of being a 'Champion' for a lifetime.”

“Are you sure about this?” Meloka says, sounding a bit uncertain. “She's proved susceptible to divine influence in the past.”
“A valid concern.” Tanya replies, taking the ring off her finger, holding it out towards your wife. “If you think that your divine power would shield you from any other divine influences, feel free to take it. I don't particularly want it.”

But as Tanya holds the ring out, you can see your wife deep in thought. Weighing the risks of taking it versus leaving it here in her hands. And, after several seconds sighs out, shaking her head.

“No. If you can control it, and won't attack my daughter or us, best you have it.” she answers finally. “I'd rather have it pointed at our enemies than at us.”
“I agree.” you reply, deciding that, for now, it would be best kept in her tiny yet capable hands. After all, you can always come take it from her, and since she isn't a competitor anymore there's little risk of her losing it. “But if it escapes you, let us know immediately. Last thing we need is something powerful enough to bring back Lyin' Eyes Requiem aimed at us.”
“I'll keep careful guardianship over this, until the day comes you want it back.” she replies, putting it back on her finger. Yet, again, the yellow light doesn't consume her, nor does either her gem or attire change. Clearly showing her dominance over the deity still presumably powering it, that strange creature Sinestro'd summoned last in his final, desperate attempt to live. “Guess I'll have to go to Sinestro's quarters, and retrieve the charger. I'll need to test the ring's capabilities, prepare countermeasures should another wielder show up wanting vengeance for their fallen ally. Something tells me there are more of these rings out there.”

As she says this, for just a split-second you get another vision. One of black-suited men and women, all clearly dead yet wielding the rings going on a rampage against the living. But then the image fades, you returning to the present with a shake of your head.

“You okay hun?” Meloka asks, you turning to her and smiling.
“Yeah, just a bit tired. It's been one hell of a day.” you reply, raising your right hand to your forehead. “Let's go home.”

And then this cool(ish) Premise turns into every major character being turned into a lantern of various colors, even stupid ones like the joker and lex luthor, so that they can all work together against the black lanterns, invalidating a lot of character lore in the process, throwing in token characters for no reason, and just generally turns into lantern on lantern conflict, and what was the actual point of the fucking series?

“I agree.” your wife replies, flying over and resting on your shoulder as you focus on your ki sense. Expanding it out, you can feel the twins Leyas and Sarada are still in their Primal forms, radiating with strength. But as you focus, you can sense your oldest twins with some of your students as well as a few weaker powerlevels you don't recognize, but then feel Broly, Kori and Okira, her power swelling far greater than you've felt before. So, with a moment's effort focus, teleporting to Broly's side with your Instant Transmission. Only for, the instant you appear, your youngest daughter roars.

“RRRAAAAAAAAA!!” she bellows, emerald aura blazing as she lunges right for you with a heavy right punch. Which, while caught off guard you manage to catch with your left, stopping her in her tracks.
“Woah!” you exclaim, staring at your daughter in the Berserker Super Saiyan form, snarling at you.
“GRRRRR! GRAAAAA!” she roars, following her right with a left. Which you also stop with your left hand, this time grabbing her hand and holding her in place.

“What's goin' on Broly?” you ask, taking a glance over to him. “Working on control?”
“That's the plan.” he replies, you looking back as she tries to pull herself free, your wife looking at your youngest daughter, seemingly stunned by her wielding the Berserker power. “Want to stick around and help?”
“HRRAAAAAA!!” she roars, opening her mouth and firing a beam from it at your face. Which you stop by raising your other hand, blocking the blast. She stops her beam after a few seconds, you releasing her with your left them knocking her back with a palm strike to the chest, knocking her to the ground and sending her tumbling backwards. After a second she gets control, sliding to a stop down on her hands and feet. Where she remains, growling at you all from all fours.

“Sure, I wouldn't mind.” you reply, then look to your wife. “Unless you want to take point?”
“No, this is your thing.” she replies, flying off your shoulder and landing over beside Koriand'r. “I'll leave you to it.”
“Right.” you reply to her, turning back to your youngest daughter. “Come on Okira! You can do it!”
“RRRAAAAAAA!!” she roars, launching up off the ground and swinging wildly at your face again. You don't activate your Energy Body, catching her barrage of punches and kicks with your right hand.

“Come on kiddo, you can do better than that.” you tell her as she snarls. “You're stronger than this, don't let your anger control you.”

“RRRAAAAA!!” she roars, gathering her ki into her right hand, kicking off your palm to get distance and launching a surprising Scattershot at you. Which you focus, creating a thin Energy Body around yourself an instant before impact. Most of the shots hit your ki, several striking the ground around you and kicking up a curtain of dust. You feel her ki retreating a bit further, you flaring your aura and shattering your Energy Body, clearing the dust as your daughter lands. “GRRRRRRR! GRRRRAAAAAAA!!”

Her aura explodes even larger, powerlevel climbing higher and higher as her strength continues to soar. Despite still being a kid, her might would have been unbelievable to you at that age. Hell, she's already stronger than Freeza's then-final form was when you'd met him, her power continuing to climb. The ground crumbles beneath her feet, cracks spreading across the forest clearing all the way over to you as he roars in challenge to the sky.

“Heh, that's my girl.” you say, taking your own fighting stance. “Show me what you've got kiddo.”
“RRRRAAAAAAAAA!!” she roars, once more exploding off the ground right at you. As she closes the distance, you catching her punch with your left hand, you can't help but feel a smile come to your face. You'll do whatever it takes to make sure she can control this power, to make sure she can live her life however she sees fit. For better or for worse, her life will be whatever she makes of it. What you wish for all of your children.

More of Batman mentions it offhandly, talking to another Leaguer and Question overhears it. He might discover the truth of everything, after a bit of leg work and diving through the Spacenet. He’s quite a fan of spacechan dot org/x, after all. He knows more of what’s going on in the universe than perhaps anyone else in U7. Aside from maybe King Cold himself.

>>5837553
Being influenced by a being you aren’t mentally equipped to handle has that effect on the weaker-willed.
Less ‘right from wrong’ and more ‘his powers may be needed later’.
He already saw the other side. Problem is Jergal damn well knows he can’t send any of his Reapers against her, as she’s far too strong.
>Godlings never learn, the grave calls him
Unlike most godlings, he actually tasted death. He lost everything. The only reason he’s back is because a power higher than him ordained it, and he damn well knows it.
>please tell me The Question wants to ask us to help him investigate the Gods in the future or something.
He is curious why beings from another plane/time/reality attack Karn and his families in particular.
Batman told Nabu it’s best to disappear from public eye, best not be seen. Else Karn may hear he’s returned and decide to act. But Bruce will not shield him from your wrath, should you discover what happened. He’s lost all trust and respect for Nabu, hiring assassins like LOBO of all beings. As far as Bruce is concerned, he got off lightly with only temporarily dying.

That or a time traveler has been mucking about and spreading specific information across the cosmos.
Alternatively, something is fucking up this timeline to the point where a fictional story is bleeding into reality.

So he knows if we were in a less forgiving mood, his planet would be dust with no recourse. And told the piss helm as such? Good on Bruce, he learns fast. Who else, that also knows he fucked up, knows he is alive again.

Wouldn’t that be a shame? Reality and all sorts of different fictions keep blending together into one jumbled mess that eventually stops making sense. But how would something like that ever happen? Couldn’t possibly be because reality keeps getting rewritten and recreated or anything, no that couldn’t be it.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 207 Intermission-

AGE 863, CONTON CITY

“DOTOOOO!” Rhymestyle calls out as his fellow Idiot Dotodoya is grabbed by Karn, the giant Saiyan palming his head and tossing him at Seereax. Knocking both fighters down, leaving him the last one standing. “Oh nohohoooh, he got both of you idiots?!”
“Quit laughing and get me up!” Seereax shouts while laid flat out, unable to muster the strength to stand as Karn rushes towards the last one standing.
“I gotchu, I gotchu.” Rhyme shouts, dashing over so fast he fades in and out of sight. But Karn never looses track, closing in and swinging a powerful right at the much smaller fighter's head. However, his Ultra Instinct evades Karn's attack effortlessly, dodging the first two strikes with his back turned and focused on giving his fellow Idiot enough strength to stand.

“This won't last long. I'm going in.” you say, leaving the screen you were watching and jumping into the PQ Time Machine. You fire it up, traversing reality to appear in the same place and time the trio had gone to train. To battle the strongest version of Karn yet, the one that managed to best the Supreme Kai of Time herself. In a flash of light you appear, yet despite it having taken only seconds you see that you were barely in time. Because Karn has all three of them in his arms, no doubt preparing to hit them all with his signature Grinder technique. “Hey! Karn! Over here!”

He turns, seeing you standing there in your base form and he scoffs, taking a moment to jump into the air and throw the Three Idiots to the ground in a meteoric slam. They vanish in the sudden cloud of dust kicked up by the breaking dirt, the massive Saiyan then looking back over you you.

“Trunks. Go away, I'm busy.” he says, drawing his ki into his right hand, then drawing it back as he readies a finishing blow on the trio. Planning on blowing them all to dust. However, as he throws it you move, dashing in while drawing your sword. And with the flat of your blade you deflect his ki blast, sending it straight back into his face before he can react. His energy blowing up in his face, obscuring him from view as you turn, taking the bag of senzu off your belt and handing it down.
“Here Doto, heal everyone and get clear. I'll handle this.” you tell him, Doto wheezing out a pained “Yeah, okay.” as he struggles to bring a bean to his lips. Meanwhile you turn, flashing up to Super Saiyan God as the smoke clears, Karn's Berserker God form cutting a menacing figure. But you're not afraid, he's nothing compared to the hell you've been through for the past several years. “You and me Karn, let's go.”

“Well well, what have we here?” he asks, seemingly more to himself. “Seems I might have to take you seriously, now. HRRRAAAAAAA!!”

And with a roar Karn begins transforming, unleashing the demonic power of the Time Breakers' seal, empowering him with dark power. His skin darkens as his hair turns white, Towa's emblem appearing on his forehead as his blank, rage-filled eyes glow with the same power. You are Trunks, apprentice to the Supreme Kai of Time, cofounder of the Time Patrol, a Saiyan who has transcended mortal limits, and son of Vegeta and Bulma, two of the greatest of their generations. Now you stand before your previous greatest fear, the Saiyan who has bested you time and time again for over a decade. But now you're strong, strong enough that even with all this power, reality shifting colors around you both as his strength reaches absurd levels that even the Supreme Kai of Time herself couldn't compete with, all you feel is confident. He can't beat you.

“GRRRAAAAAA!!” he roars, finishing his transformation. Dark energy swells as lightning crackles in the sky, sparks dancing through his aura as he stares you down. Before, you would have been terrified, petrified of the knowledge you were going to die. But after what you've seen in Dumplin's realm, this is nothing. So, you take your fighting stance, divine aura blazing.
“Bring it.” you say, and without hesitation Karn charges.
“HAAAAA!” he calls, Energy Body condensing into a suit of energy armor around him as he closes the distance. Realizing that, if he gets too close the Three Idiots could perish in the clash, you leap into the air, meeting his charge head-on. Sheathing your blade, your right fist crashes into his own, stopping him in place. The force is too great for you to wholly withstand in your Super Saiyan God form, the shock pushing you back down to the ground where you land beside the now-rising Doto.

“Get the other two out of here.” you tell him, blazing your divine aura and kicking back off into the air after the giant. Who seems surprised that you'd stopped him, looking at you and no doubt reappraising your power. “I'll finish this myself.”
“What? Naah, get me up. I'll beat his ass!” Seereax calls, trying his best to sound ready to fight despite being held under the smallest of the trio Doto's arm.
“Fuck that, let's watch Trunks fight.” Rhyme says. “He'll last long enough for us to get back up, right? Right?”

“Yeah, Trunks, you got this.” Doto says, carrying the two of them away as you stare down Karn. His power, infused with that demonic power is still stronger than you are now. So, you decide to take it up to one hundred percent, clenching your fists and powering up even further. Infusing the power of Super Saiyan God with the power of a Super Saiyan, the divine flame-like aura changing.

“Haaaaaah! HAAAAAA!!” you shout, the divine power engulfing your body. Your power surges, divine might like few have ever achieved bursting forth.
“Woah, no way! Trunks is going Blue?” Doto asks as he revives his allies, your gaze fixed on the larger Saiyan above you. The energy 'shell' formed around you of your divine power shatters as you finish transforming, revealing your new power. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, or more simply put, Super Saiyan Blue. “Now I'll show you my real power.”
“Heh, about time you finally found the next level.” Karn replies, taking his fighting stance. Something he's not done against you in years, showing that he's finally taking you seriously. “Bring it.”

Then, as one you both charge forward, roaring in challenge and slamming your right fists together. This time as you both collide, shock waves blasting out from the point of impact, Karn is actually the one knocked back. Clearly surprising him, his eyes widening as you knock him back through his shielding aura.

“What?!” he exclaims, clearly shocked by the results of your training. You don't stop, pressing the attack and swinging up at his face with your left hand. Karn brings his left arm up, blocking your strike with his forearm as he grits his teeth. “Tch!”
“HAAA!” you shout, following it up with a right turning kick that he again blocks with his left forearm. As he holds your blow back, you gather ki into your left hand, twisting and firing your energy directly into his face. As he's blinded by the blast you draw your sword, focusing your ki through the weapon and holding it overhead with both hands, charging after the larger Saiyan while channeling your energy into the blade. Causing it to glow with azure power, sharp enough to cut through anything. Even Dumplin's ungodly defenses. Karn blows the cloud away with a sweep of his hand, only to see you dropping down at him, blade radiating with divine energy. And Karn makes his biggest mistake. He trusts his armor to stop you, only realizing at the last moment the error of his ways and trying to evade. But by then, it is far too late.

“Guuaah?!” he exclaims as your sword cleaves right through both ki and flesh, your blade cutting deep through his body. From right collarbone down and out through his left thigh, your sword nearly bisects the man. His glowing green blood sprays from the wound, the shock clear on his face as he realizes that this could be the end of him. But he doesn't stop, gritting his teeth and blazing his aura, shattering the Energy Body completely as he then lunges, no doubt trying to grab and pin you to him for a finishing blast to take you down with him.

“Not happening!” you retort, swinging your blade up by your left side first, cutting his right arm off at the right elbow before bringing the blade down on his other, nearly cutting his left off as well while spinning, ending in a back kick with your right heel square in his chest, knocking the much larger Saiyan back and away from you. Yet even without his arms he still doesn't quit, firing his twin piercing beams from his eyes. Which you deflect with your blade, Karn redirecting them back at you over and over again. Each time they get close you deflect them with your sword, knocking the beams back knowing he can't keep that technique up for too long. And, sure enough, after a dozen deflections he ends the attack, energy fading away. “It's over.”

“Like. Hell. I'm. Not DONE!” he roars after several panting breaths, drawing up everything he's got left. Demonic ki blazes wildly as he brings one hundred percent of his power to bear, energy shifting from dark to red as he's about to unleash his final attack, the Red Dawn explosion technique. However, you don't give him the chance, drawing your blade back and lunging forward, driving the point of the blade square between his eyes. As if flicking a switch his power vanishes, body returning to normal as he returns to his base form, defeated. But he wasn't the only one to worry about.

“KAAAAARN!!” you hear a woman's pained wail, turning towards the sound to see Meloka, in her Super Saiyan God form rushing you with twin blades drawn. Withdrawing your blade from the one Saiyan you block her spinning slashes, then reach out and catch her right wrist with your left while blocking her blade with your sword. Then drive your forehead into her face, breaking her nose before she can attack and stunning her. Giving you the opening you need as she recoils, raising your blade overhead and bisecting her in a single slash. The halves of the woman fall to the ground, you turning back to see the Three Idiots staring at you, jaws hanging comically slack.

“Ain't no fuckin' way. You tellin' me that TRUNKS has gotten stronger than me?!” Rhymestyle declares, sounding indignant. “Trunks?! Nah nah nan, this ain't real.”
“Ayyyy, that's my boy! That's my boy!” Doto cheers, hyping you up. “Hell yeah man, well done.”
“Ahh! Gasp? Does this mean that Trunks has obtained... BOWER?” Seereax asks, clearly not sure whether or not to be impressed or angry. But then, on their scouters you see the familiar “Warning!!!” message appear, realizing that this battle isn't quite over yet. A moment later you sense them, the only two stronger than Karn on Mechikabura's side aside from the Demon God himself. As you turn, they both appear, descending from the sky to land down by the slain Berserker God. One meeting your gaze, the other's eyes focused on her slain father from another timeline.

“Trunks.” Ace says, your former partner sounding neutral.
“Ace.” you reply, unable to wholly suppress your anger from leaking into your tone. Hearing this he simply powers up to the form beyond Super Saiyan Blue, his Evolved form's hair darker and aura more blinding than your own.
“You did this?” Future Chaya asks you, which is rhetorical as their blood is still on your weapon. She clenches her fists as you don't answer, ascending into her Apex form immediately. “I'm going to make you eat your own heart for killing my Daddy.”

“No, you won't.” you reply, taking your defensive stance with your weapon. You aren't sure you can take them both by yourself, but fortunately you don't have to. “You three, take the girl. I'll handle the traitor.”
“Bet bet bet.” Rhyme says, you feeling his energy quiet and calm as he ascends once more into Ultra Instinct. “We'll handle the hard work.”
“Easy schmoney.” Seereax replies, cracking his neck and ascending into Ultra Ego.
“I fight for my friends!” Doto calls out, transforming into the powerful Beast form. Then as one the Three Idiots charge the Apex Saiyan, while you and your former friend charge each other head on. You're taking him down, here and now!

“HAAAAA!!” you roar, sheathing your blade and drawing your right fist back before swinging it forward.
“HRRAAAA!” he bellows, matching your blow with a left of his own, fists slamming into each other. The two of you hit each other so hard reality itself shatters around you both, bringing you into another, strange dimension.
“What the-?” you mutter, losing focus for a split second and looking around. However, as Ace closes the distance and gets you with a good right cross, your attention is snapped back to the fight, ducking his follow-up left and going into a rising right uppercut, catching him on the chin and staggering him back. But before you can capitalize on the opening he plants his left foot behind him, springing off it into a devastating right elbow to your jaw into a back roundhouse, right heel tagging your temple and sending you spinning. Landing on all fours you spring up and away as he drops an axe kick right where your neck was. You quickly go through the complicated hand motions, ending with index fingers and thumbs pressed together to fire your technique. “Burning Attack!”

Only for him to disappear with Instant Transmission, reappearing right in front of you into a God Fist, ki-clad right slamming into your jaw and sending you flying back. Flipping once to reorient yourself, you and Ace again stare each other down. No words need to be spoken, you both knowing this can only end one way.

>And Karn makes his biggest mistake. He trusts his armor to stop you, only realizing at the last moment the error of his ways and trying to evade. But by then, it is far too late.
>he cut through the armor

Alright alright, I was kidding before about The Boi becoming The Man, but this is actually worrying me. Like, "Dreadzone Arbiter" kind of worry. Nobody does that shit without magic fuckery of the highest order, and the sword was made of DIVINE Ki, the type of thing we're supposed to be strong against.
>>
>>5840341
Ha, and thanks anon.
>>5840351
I did warn you all he's dangerous now. He even actually learned a new technique or several under Dumplin's tutelage. To make a long explanation short, higher deities are physical embodiments of forces or concepts, like the Kais are embodiments of creation, SKoT of Time, Destroyers as, well, you get the point. So, he channels the concept of cutting itself INTO the blade. Making it a sword that can cut through theoretically anything. But especially armor not imbued with the conceptual power of defense. And even the toughest Energy Body form could still be cut, albeit slowly, with a lightsaber.
>>
>>5840358
>So, he channels the concept of cutting itself INTO the blade.
Well, so much for being the Immovable Object. I'm glad he's taking a cue from the greats and learning how to punch above his weight class at least.
Still, I'd say we have enough to work with to earn a hard fought victory. There's more to swordplay than cutting after all, just like there's more to fighting than strength and speed. Something that Dumplin is more than aware of.
Just what is his game in slowing down Karn? Is he gonna double cross Mechi?
>>
>>5840358
>So, he channels the concept of cutting itself INTO the blade. Making it a sword that can cut through theoretically anything. But especially armor not imbued with the conceptual power of defense.
So we'd have the classic paradox if someone made or channeled the divine/universal concept of defense into a shield, fascinating.

I'm surprised that the Sword that Cuts Anything Ever, or the SCAE (I know thats probably inaccurate but I don't have a good name for it), had zero resistance against the energy body and more specifically on Karn. I was expecting it to stop at some point, on account of the fuckery that occured from fusing with a reality that no longer existed, which slightly jammed the SKoT's "ultimate dominion over time" powers.
>>
>>5840373
Yes, he's become quite adept, after fighting Dumplin for so long. He learned how to fight like his life depends on it.
Defeating him isn't impossible. Life or death are both options in this fight. But you currently don't have anything that can match his divine cutting power now.
That is a good question. Which side is he on? Or is he on either side?
>>5840386
True. Who knows how that would play out?
Your merging with a non-existent reality protects you from beings of Fate, Time, Order, or powers in that vein. But doesn't affect others like Destruction, Death, etc. Having a fate or not doesn't matter to an edge, all that matters is that you ARE matter and can be cut.
>>
>>5840244
>this karn never used his imitation-senzu
Fake news.
>>
>>5840403
Remember, this is the Raid based off of when SKoT showed up and you beat her. You didn't have one on you then.
>>
>>5840399
>But you currently don't have anything that can match his divine cutting power now.
Oh, that one's easy. Just don't get cut.
I'm not joking. You can't cut what isn't there after all.
>>
>>5840405
I know, but it's still not 100% all out Karn. Which is why it's fake news.
>>
>>5840406
True, but you're not going blade-to-blade with anything currently in your arsenal, so your swordsmanship is irrelevant.
>>5840407
It is Karn from that point in time as he was then. Which is the strongest Karn the Time Patrol have encountered to date.
>>
>>5840435
>so your swordsmanship is irrelevant.
There is more to being a swordsman than swinging a sword GD. I'll say no more on the topic.
>>
Trying to think of a strategy against the guy since its 95% certain its gonna be a 1v1. The energy body has been neutralized, Unmovable and counter swordplay with our own big fucking weapons is just suicide if we had a rapier I'd change my tune but metal toothpicks were never our style, and unlike the Arbiter there's no electronics we can disrupt with a timely death beam. Now, we could blast the knees and other ligaments, but he's pretty much got the data down of all our moves. We can't make any middle-of-the-fight surprises either.
>>
>>5840448
Well that would be metagaming. You're not a timecuck who metagames, are ya?
>>
>>5840436
Fair enough, I can concede the point.
>>5840448
He's fairly dangerous now. And that's only one of the potentially many abilities you've yet to see. Dumplin's training is no joke, underestimating Trunks in the next encounter is a fatal mistake. But Karn will see that in his eyes.
>>5840451
Ha
>>
>>5840448
Squeeze his balls really hard with telekinesis and punch them really hard. We have only ever hit his testicles once.
>>
>>5840448
There's always Telekinesis to drag his strikes off course and fuck up his edge alignment. We can also disable his arms with good old fashioned grappling. We just gotta start considering every option at our disposal.
>>
>>5840487
Have you considered shooting him in the wrist then hucking the sword into the nearest star? He's such a brainlet he never figured out how to make an energy sword without a guide in the form of a real blade. Even when he does get lame ass dragon quest hero's sword knockoff beam weapon thing, he has the handle of his busted ass piece to hold onto and guide.

He's a cut-rate swordsman. Who needs a blade to actually cut things? PSHAW

You have options, facing him isn't an immediate loss. But now the same goes for him.

You don't know what ELSE Dumplin taught him. But he wanted to see if that actually worked against Karn, and, well. Results speak for themselves.
>>
>>5840546
>You don't know what ELSE Dumplin taught him
Don't care. I just assume it's all cheating bullshit. Because Future Trunks really isn't creative enough to come up with his own stuff to make himself better so he'll just take the actual cheats he can learn from Dumplin. Seriously though, Future Trunks never came up with a single thing of his own. Even his fancy spirit sword thing only came about after he'd seen Black fight with his silly scythe thing. Sometimes I think he's not actually Bulma's kid somehow through quantum fuckery.

>Sometimes I think he's not actually Bulma's kid somehow through quantum fuckery.
Trunks got the short end of the Punnett Square due to Fraudgeta's genes which cancel out the Brief's supergenius traits with Royal Saiyan Stubbornness. And until now, the fighting capability that comes with his father's side getting mixed with funky hyooman DNA was never realized because the future fucking sucks and enlisting in the Time Patrol means getting a job at Weenie Hut Jrs.

I'm fairly certain Future Gohan was never shown performing the technique, so I'm not entirely sure he would have been the one to come up with it in the first place.

I think he did in one of the Tenkaichi games. I can reason it around in my head.

Remember, he did inherit his mother’s knack for machines. But knowledge of programming and machines does not necessarily translate to ki techniques.

Ha!
>>5840577

It might have been a technique he made between his dad’s death and the androids arrival, because fighting them he needed speed over flair.

That was around my thinking on it. Abandoned the flair for more practical techcniques
>>
>>5840609
>Remember, he did inherit his mother’s knack for machines.
True. But also unfortunate because he essentially never utilizes it. Like ever. He should be making tools to fight with. Weaponizing miniaturization tech from capsules. Stuff like that. Instead he kind of just, does nothing with his one talent. Trunks is the epitome of wasted potential and it's sad.

Burning attack is pretty baller though ngl. It does look cool.

Hey, what if we recruited Tanya for the Conton invasion? She not only has a yellow lantern ring to abuse the fuck out of right now, but she can DRASTICALLY reduce the effectiveness of godly power for a period of time with a certain technique.
>>
>>5840960
The gravity hammer has to make contact to generate that shockwave, so using it to try and block a slash from Trunks is a no-go.
We COULD however set off the burst near him in such a way that it throws off his strikes or pushes him out of range entirely.

>>5841025
Knocking Trunks back would be effective, at least once. Maybe. Unless he’s ready and braced for it, as he’s more than strong enough as Super Saiyan God even to withstand it without budging
>>5841313
>Boy gets one cheat skill....and thats it? He thinks that is enough to gas him up to kill a real Karn?
Not quite, you misunderstood what happened. He only needed a SINGLE skill he learned with his years under Dumplin to beat you as you were then. He didn’t even have to use what else he learned for that W.
Thanks, same for you.
>>
>>5841413
>Would you gamble on at best mercenary loyalty when your foe has more money?
As with all recruitments, you really just need the right words and the right incentive. To use an example, let's say the KGB offered you, personally, an infinite use credit card. But that credit card is stocked with rubles and can only be used on KGB-approved things. You cannot use it outside of KGB-approved areas, even.
Conversely, the CIA is offering you a credit card loaded up with, let's say, $350,000,000 USD that mysteriously went missing from their budget. They offer you zero stipulations on what you can use it on and where you can use it on, and it comes with all the freedom that good old american dollars offer. Not only that, but the CIA is willing to give you as much information as you want on certain events they know will happen in the future, so you can safely fudge situations in your favor - the KGB will not.
Now, I can't say with absolute certainty which one Tanya would choose in this scenario, but I'd take the CIA's deal if I'm taking any of them. More resources cannot possibly compare to the freedom to use those resources however I please, in my mind.
>>
>>5841025
The gravity Hamer doesn't have to make contact to hit. It's why you can swing and only hit air and still have it active.

>The gravity Hamer doesn't have to make contact to hit.
Yes, the hammer doesn't actually have to strike the enemy to deal damage to it thanks to the shockwave emitters on it. However, the strike face of the head has to hit SOMETHING before the shockwave actually goes off, keep that in mind.
Also on the topic of the Gravity Hammer, we really ought to think about upgrading it while we have the time.
Off the top of my head, and GD please chime in if any of this isn't possible:
>Increased shockwave impact (duh)
>Increased shockwave diameter (also duh)
>Plasma shockwave (less force, but potentially vaporizes anything in range)
>Implosion generation (pulling to the point of impact instead of pushing, could be useful as a togglable feature)
>Energy blade replacement (a lightsaber blade or Sangheili energy sword would cut way better than the tungsten alloy blade currently on it)
>Sonic wave emitters (dealing with those Mindslayers should tell you how disorienting sonic waves can be against unprepared opponents)
>Flail head mode (very gimmicky and situational, but might be useful for sneaking in blows from weird angles)
>Various enchantments (that's its own rabbit hole, too many potential ideas for this list, but definitely worth talking to Towa and Chilli about)
Again, this is all just stuff off the top of my head, who knows how else we can pimp our hammer out.
Then there's also our greatsword to think about...
>>

That implies you’re negotiating from a point of strength, and not the one with fat more limited offerings in exchange for far greater risk. She values HER life above all else, which pissing off another stronger, far more powerful god isn’t good for. Especially now that she’s basically made it. Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After defeating the wizard who had invaded Dreadzone, Karn and Meloka went to battle a divine-empowered ring bearer named Sinestro, whose power was great enough to bring forth a copy of Lyin' Eyes Requiem. While not as powerful as the original, it did still revive the ring bearer before it was destroyed, only for Sinestro to die again, his ring going to Dreadzone's General Tanya Degurechaff. But as we rejoin Karn, leaving Dreadzone behind, you've come face-to-face with your youngest daughter Okira, trying to control the Berserker power you'd unintentionally given to her.

You catch her wild right with your left hand, her left with your right before she swings her forehead at you. The two of you bash heads together, your daughter growling as she struggles against your greater power.

“GRRRR! I'll asphyxiate you with your own entrails!” she snarls in your face, you blinking in surprise as she pulls back. “Your blood and excrement will satiate the trees' thirst!”
“Uhh, what?” you mutter, confused. And in that moment of confusion Okira brings her right foot up, planting it on your face as she leans back, kicking off you and flipping backwards to land on all fours, snarling up at you while her emerald aura blazes around her. And while you're glad all those hours she's spent reading haven't gone to waste, for all her smarts you aren't sure why she isn't already controlling the Berserker power.

But what do you do now?
>Attack, push her back with your power and don't let up until she calms down
>Defend, let her rage against you until she gains control of herself
>Energy Body, let her strike you ineffectually until she restrains her rage

“Come on. You can do better than that.” you tell your daughter, taking your fighting stance while gesturing with your left hand's fingers for her to come at you. Seeing this enrages her, your daughter's aura spiking as she powers up even more, lunging at your face with a heavy left haymaker. Which you dodge easily, sliding your left foot back as you twist counterclockwise around her fist.
“Tch! HRRAAAA!” she roars as her punch sails past you harmlessly, twisting and putting her full power behind her right heel in a spinning roundhouse aimed for your head. But by leaning back you evade the attack, her boot slicing through the air. Which she follows up with another left haymaker aimed at your face. Again you dodge her strike, this time by simply taking a step to your right and leaning your head. Her fist passes harmlessly by your left ear, you backing away a couple steps and retaking your fighting stance as she spins in a circle for a moment from her strike's force, stopping and reorienting herself with a low, dangerous growl.

“Use your head kiddo. Stop letting your anger control you, and focus.” you tell her, remaining calm and cool as she rages. “You can con-”
“Control THIS!” she roars, throwing her right hand forward and unleashing a surprisingly powerful beam at you. But, with no one behind you you dodge, twisting clockwise and watching the beam pass you by. Seeing her attack failed, Okira ends the attack and charges, swinging for your head once again. This time with a left turning kick that you lean back and avoid by leaning backwards, followed by a flipping overhead right knee. Which you also avoid by taking a single step backwards, her knee passing by harmlessly as she flips around. It takes her a couple seconds to reorient, then turns back towards you once more. “Is that all you can do? Run away?”

You feel your eyebrow twitch at her taunt, but otherwise don't react, returning to your fighting stance. To which she growls, then starts shouting at you.

“When I get my hands on you, I'll tear out your entrails, feast upon your heart and wear your skull as a crown!” she roars, powerlevel surging even more. “Your offal will nourish the ground after I've extinguished your heartbeat!”
“Is that what you really think of me, kiddo?” you ask softly, and for a moment, a split-second you think you can see the recognition in her eyes. But then it vanishes again as the overwhelming rage clouds her eyes and mind, seeing only something to destroy.
“GRRRRAAAAAA!!” she bellows, again launching into her attack. You use your Su Ma to flip, spin and twist your way around her attacks, your far-superior speed keeping her from so much as touching you. Which leads to her anger growing by the second until she disengages, throwing both arms out to her sides as you feel her ki spike, gathering into her open palms. “That's IT! I am DONE dillydallying around with you! I'm ending this!”

You recognize her technique as the Final Flash, no doubt preparing to try and erase you with a single, overwhelming blast. But, even through her rage, she clearly can tell that you might still dodge as she continues.

“Are you going to continue avoiding my attacks like a yellow-bellied, dastardly coward? Or will you take my full power head on?” she calls, lightning crackling around her as her gathered energies in her hands continue to grow.

Well?

“Well, if you insist.” you reply, drawing your right fist back and focusing your ki. Your powerlevel explodes upwards, instantly dwarfing her gathered energy. Your emerald aura blazes, you drawing it all down into your right fist as your youngest daughter smirks.
“Hold on, Dad are you sure about this?” Broly asks you, sounding noticeably worried as he recognizes the attack you're trying to .
“Don't worry, I'm not going to hit her with it.” you reply to him telepathically. “Just have to dispel this attack of hers, she's gathered enough power to break New Salda. So, I'm going to shoot straight through her blast. Make sure you shield Kori, don't want her getting hit with a stray beam.”

“Right.” he replies, ending the mental link. You start focusing your ki into your right hand, spiraling it faster and faster, tighter and tighter into the finest piercing point you can make.
“Hit me with everything you've got!” you shout, your daughter slamming her wrists together and merging her two ki into one. Lightning flashes out from her attack, carving trenches through the ground as her power peaks. Then, with a roar she unleashes the single strongest attack she ever has.

FINAL FLAAAASH!!” she roars, unleashing a wave of golden ki. Her massive beam carves through the ground slightly as it rockets towards you. As her attack gets closer you brace yourself, then kick off the ground at full strength and drive your ki-clad fist directly into her attack. Your ki's piercing point thrusts straight into the golden energy, the spiraling of your ki dispersing her energy out around from you. Your punch carries you through the torrent of power, dashing straight through it at your daughter. Who you sense getting closer and closer, then right as you get to the end of her attack divert your own strike. So, instead of impaling her, and with your size ripping her body to shreds, your fist punches out through her attack over her left shoulder as the clockwise-spinning energy knocks her away from you and up into the air. Where she tumbles uncontrollably for a few seconds, falling to the ground a dozen or so feet away with a thud. “Kyuh!”

Ending your attack you turn, looking at the results of her attack. You can see in the ground the moment you'd hit it, her beam no longer cutting straight through the ground but instead scorching a wider area, the remains of her attack not strong enough to even cut down the great trees. Although their back show several cuts in them, as if her energy'd begun to whip around wildly without the beam holding it together. Satisfied your attack kept hers from being too destructive, you turn your attention back to your daughter as she's starting to rise.

“Not... I'm...Not...” she says, chest heaving as she tries getting back to her feet. Legs trembling, she tries to remain standing but with her powerlevel dropping by the second she simply doesn't have the strength and collapses. However, you catch her before she can fall, Okira shrinking as she reverts back to her base form, soundly asleep. Looking down at her you can't help but smile, one day she'll control this power.
“Was I that... Out-of-control?” Broly asks you, you turning to your son as he walks over. Kori looking at the damage of the battle, seemingly interested in the point of impact.
“Well, I can remember one of the first times you transformed, I tried to pin you down and hold you in place to get you to calm down. You broke my arm for that one.” you reply with a chuckle, the young man's ears turning a bit red in embarrassment at this. “She'll learn, in time. None of us were very in control of this power the first few times we transformed.”

“You especially hun.” Meloka says, walking over and clearly wanting to hold the sleeping daughter. So you hand her over, Meloka holding her daughter to her chest with a smile. “You nearly killed me the first time.”
“Yeah. Luckily I didn't.” you reply, remembering how overpowering, how overwhelming the Berserker rage had felt the first time you'd changed. But as you stand there reminiscing, suddenly Meloka transforms. Her divine, godly aura flares up like a fire around her as she looks up into the sky.
“Something's coming.” she says, immediately sounding worried. With only a moment's hesitation she passes Okira to Koriand'r, telling them both to get back to the ship as you expand your ki sense, feeling nothing out of the ordinary much less something that would warrant a reaction like that. “GO!”
“Right!” Broly replies, grabbing Kori's arm and using Instant Transmission to disappear.

“What's going on?” you ask, your wife turning to you with a worried look.
“Something's coming. Something dangerous, unlike anything I've felt before.” she replies, a hint of worry in her voice.

Z Broly was a good shit-talker for his day, but Okira would be talking circles around him.
Honestly, once she learns how to control herself, it could potentially be used as a strategy akin to Dun Möch.

“Stay ready, I'm calling Vegeta and Freeza. Just to make sure it's not an ally.” you tell your wife, who nods before you close your eyes. Reaching out with your mind you connect to both Freeza and Vegeta, asking them both the same question. “Meloka senses something dangerous approaching, do either of you have any guests coming?”
“What? No, I haven't... I can't sense anything.” Freeza replies immediately, you sensing his sudden concern while Vegeta's mind pulls back for a few seconds. You feel him powering up, no doubt preparing to head over. “What does she sense?”
“No one more powerful than a few million should be approaching today.” King Vegeta then replies, no doubt having asked some of his people. “Whatever she senses, it can't be friendly. Need backup?”

“I'll ask.” you reply, returning your focus to your wife as she suddenly shoves you back, divine aura blazing as she unleashes a blast straight up into the air. However, as she does, you see something dark descending straight towards the attack. But right at the moment of impact, the darkness opens, her blast going straight through the hole and not hitting the shapeless void. It descends down at you all, changing its direction and following her blast straight down towards the two of you.
“Well, I got it's attention.” your wife replies, ending the beam and powering up. But you don't transform, realizing there's only one being it could be. You grab her by the shoulders, your wife looking to you with eyes full of confusion. “What are you doing? We have to-!”
“Don't you recognize him?” you ask, your wife's brows furrowing in confusion. She looks from you back to the approaching darkness, eyes suddenly widening in realization as the dark mass strikes the ground before you both, turning into a puddle of infinite blackness. Then, from that dark void, rises a familiar, towering figure.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FzSVnrHXa0

“HAAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAAAH! I AM THE SHOGUN OF SORROW! THE DELIVERER OF DARKNESS! THE SHAPESHIFTING MASTER OF DARKNESS, AKU!” your longtime ally says, stretching his hands to the sky as he laughs. However, as he lowers his hands and looks down at you both, his eyes suddenly go wide, recoiling away from your wife. “SO, IT IS TRUE! YOU HAVE ASCENEDED BEYOND THE MORTAL PALE! I MUST SAY THAT I AM IMPRESSED!”
“T-Thank you?” she replies uncertainly, looking quite terrified of Aku yet still ready to throw down at a moment's notice. Seems than, from a divine perspective, Aku is quite a terrifying presence. You understand to an extent, having been given the perspective before to understand the scale of his power once before. But that leaves you with only one question:

“What's going on Aku? Why are you here?” you ask him aloud while telepathically telling Broly, Vegeta and Freeza who has arrived. In case the booming echo of his voice hadn't carried over to them. “Is something wrong?”
“AS A MATTER OF FACT, SOMETHING IS WRONG. ONE MOMENT.” he answers, lowering his hand down towards you all. Then, from his palm a much smaller form of Aku rises, this one speaking at a far more tolerable volume. “Do you remember before how you'd taken care of a certain, how shall we say, pest problem for me?”

Immediately your mind goes back to that damned Dr. Nefarious, who'd had a hidden underground laboratory on the planet you'd cleansed for Aku before. The day you'd finally ascended into a true Super Saiyan. However, you're not the only one who remembers that day.

“Don't tell me that bastard's back AGAIN?” your wife asks, clearly not wanting to face him again. To which the small Aku shakes his head.
“No no, I do not require your assistance for such a... Simple job. This time, I come to you with a far more serious problem: one of my daughters has gone missing. Will you help me get her back?”

Well? What do you say?

“I want to help, believe me I do, but you need to give me details.” you tell him, reaching over and putting your hand on the small Aku's shoulder. “Tell me everything.”
“It all started a week ago.” he says, going into the story. Days ago, his family had all been gathered for some sort of holiday, one where a family all gathers to feast together. However, after the celebration was over, one of his daughters never called to him again. Using his powers to peer through, Aku saw that she had been confronted by an all-too familiar being. “The traitorous Demongo somehow escaped imprisonment, taking my poor daughter with the help of beings I've never seen before. She fought valiantly, but their weapons could actually hurt her. And that monster, he... He...”

“He took her?” Meloka asks, Aku taking a moment to regain his composure before continuing.
“He absorbed her. Just as he's done with all the others he defeated, he has taken MY daughter away!!” Aku roars, both of him. Both Aku's eyebrows blaze wildly with his anger, voice booming. “MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER!!”
“Demongo.” you reply, growling a bit under your breath. “That bastard. Of course it's him.”

“Do you know where he took her?” your wife asks, her voice calm and soothing. As if speaking to one of the children when they're upset, trying to calm them down. “If you want us to take that bastard down again, we need to know where he went.”
“Oh, I know where he went.” Aku replies, his voice low and full of menace. “I know exactly where he went. But with my daughter held hostage, I can't go after him myself. He'd extinguish her soul the moment I pursued her.”
“Then where?” your wife asks, although for some reason you already have a sinking feeling in your gut you know where.

“The world of the dead.” Aku says seriously, meeting her gaze as you suddenly have a terrible feeling about this. “He retreated to the underworld, where he has no doubt bent most if not all of the souls there to his will. If he was strong enough to take one of my daughters, especially Ashi, then he will be far, FAR more powerful than he was before. But I can see both of you are stronger as well, so I need your help. Please, I need you to get my daughter back.”

“Don't worry, we'll help you out. But we'll need you to wait for a bit.” you tell him, Aku raising a brow comically high. “We'll need to gather a team first before heading down into the underworld. Besides, if we're fighting Demongo, I can think of at least two others who want to get their revenge against him.”
“Ooooohh, I see. Very well, I shall wait here.” he tells you. “When you've gathered your team, return here to me, and I shall open the portal. However, I will have to stay on this side of it. Not only to maintain the portal, but to prevent anything on the other side from coming through into your world. It would be quite rude of me to allow the undead to roam free on your world in exchange for your help.”

“Are you thinking who I'm thinking?” your wife asks, turning towards you “Are you going to ask Chilli?”
“Yes. Him, Leyas and Sarada, and Ubo too if he'll join us.” you reply to her, then ask. “Mind asking Chilli, while I go get the twins?”
“Of course.” she replies, raising her right hand to her forehead as she no doubt starts calling to him. But as she does you raise your hand to your forehead as well, finding the twins' powerlevels. Then, with a thought and moment's focus Instant Transmission to them. One moment you're standing next to Aku, the next find yourself back in the city. Standing outside a very familiar restaurant, one you wouldn't expect to be such a place from the outside.

“Karn? What's going on?” Leyas asks, seeming completely unsurprised by you just appearing before him. “Everything okay with Chaya?”
“Yes she's fine. She's with Elder Pybara now, to hopefully get herself straightened out.” you reply. “Speaking of, appreciate both of you for earlier. But Aku just showed up.”
“Aku? Oh, wait a minute. Does that mean-?” Sarada asks, unable to finish her sentence.
“Yeah. Demongo escaped containment, and took one of Aku's daughters as he'd taken you two.” you tell them, the twins' expressions hardening immediately. As victims of Demongo themselves, they have very little pity for that monster.

“We're in.” Leyas says immediately, showing zero hesitation. “When are we leaving?”
“As soon as Meloka and I have gathered everyone. She's going to get Chilli, just in case. And I'm going to see if Ubo wants to come along as well.”
“Yeah, his power would be good to have along.” Sarada replies, nodding her head. “C'mon Leyas, let's go get armored up. Give us the call when it's time to go, and we'll be there.”
“Will do.” you tell her, the twins taking off and flying towards their home to change from training suits into their armor while you reach out telepathically to one of your longest-known non-Saiyan friends. “Hey, Ubo. Are you busy?”

“Karn? It's been awhile, what's going on?” Ubo replies immediately. “Is something going wrong?”
“Well, yes. Not for us, but for Aku. That bastard Demongo's back, and took one of his daughters.” you tell him. “We're going into the underworld to take that bastard down, you want in?”
“Very well. It will take me a few minutes to get there, if you can wait that long.” he replies, you shaking your head.

“Where are you, my Instant Transmission is probably faster to get you back.” you reply, Ubo disagreeing.
“I'm currently inside a star. You're strong, but that's far more heat than you can take. You struggled to handle the inside of New Salda, remember?” he answers, to which you can't disagree. “Give me thirty seconds, then when I'm far enough away you can bring me over.”
“Sounds good.” you reply, ending the link to your Kryptonian ally and thinking to your wife. “Is Chilli good to go?”

“Yes, we're in his home now. He said he just has to gather a few things before we go.” she replies. Mind heading to Aku, so we can teleport to you?”
“No problem. Once you're to me, I'll get Ubo.” you reply, ending the link and lifting up into the air. You turn back to where you'd come from, taking off and flying across the city and over the forest, going back to where the giant Abyssal being remains waiting.
“Ahh, you're back. But, where is everyone?” he replies, sounding confused. “Did they say no?”
“No, everyone's in. They've just got to get ready.” you reply, then sense your wife and Chilli's emerging ki. A split-second later they both appear, your wife relaxed and your son looking ready for war. Wielding his massive, glowing dragon bone sword in his right, staff in his left and the smaller sword he named Blue Flame on his back, he looks ready for a fight. Immediately Aku recoils from your son, or more accurately the sword he's holding. “Speaking of.”

“Karn, I'm far enough away.” Ubo thinks to you once more. To which you raise your hand to your forehead, take a deep breath while focusing on his ki, and teleport to him. In the void of space he grabs you and nods, you focusing on Chilli's ki and teleporting back to New Salda where you'd been less than a second ago. Returning with Ubo, who is absolutely radiating more power than you've ever felt from him, Aku looks him over a moment before returning his gaze to your son, clearly more interested in that weapon.
“I see you wield the power of the paledrake.” Aku tells him, sounding a bit cautious. “Please, while on the other side, be careful with that weapon. It does possess magic strong enough to really hurt my daughter, if you are not careful.”

“Don't worry, we'll get her back in one piece.” Chilli replies as Leyas and Sarada fly in, both already transformed into their Primal Demon forms. So much for wearing their armor. The twins fly over, landing by Ubo and addressing him first, asking him how Earth is while Aku looks your group of six over.

“So, is this everyone?” Aku asks you directly. “Are you ready to go?”
“Ready.” you reply, Aku nodding and allowing his miniature self to disappear into his hand, which raises up and forms a circle. One in which the center starts to shift, changing from a view through his hand to what's behind into a view of another world, another place entirely.
“Please, get me my daughter back. I care not what happens to Demongo, deal with him as you see fit. But bring my Ashi back home to me.” Aku asks of you all, almost begging. “Whatever it takes.”

But how do you do this?

“Chilli, mind leading us in?” you ask, turning to your son. His eyes widen as you turn to him. “You've got more experience with the dead than the rest of us, maybe even combined.”
“Y-Of course, follow me.” your son replies, Ascending in a burst of sparks and blaze of golden aura. “Everyone, before we go in, a few things you all need to know. Don't eat or drink anything in the underworld. If you do, you won't be able to come back. And don't accept a gift from anyone, no matter how well you knew them in life. Any gift from the underworld will have... Strings attached. Even if they don't tell you about them. Now, let's take this demon bastard down.”

“Hell yeah!” Leyas says, immediately flaring his own aura up and following right behind your son.
“Let's kill this bastard.” Sarada replies, punching her left palm with her right fist. “I aught to... Thank him, for letting me gain access to this power. With a demonstration of what he created.”
“Be on your guard, brave warriors.” Aku says as your son walks directly to the portal in his hand. “And good luck to all of you.”

Your son Chilli bravely strides through the portal first, the twins following behind him. You and Meloka are next, Ubo bringing up the rear. You step into the portal, and for a moment you feel a deathly, sickening chill. Which passes as you step fully through, but for a moment you'd felt as if the portal itself was trying to draw all the living heat from your body. And, while you weren't quite sure what to expect of the underworld, a world of mostly-clear skies with clouds far, almost impossibly far overhead, dark grey mountains, a lake of blood and several Sangheili stabbing a creature you presume to be a demon with their energy blades, judging from its similar nature to that of Raven, Towa, and your half-demon children.

The blue-skinned creature cries out in pain as its blood is spilled over and over, yet it doesn't die from their blades. Your wife, however, immediately goes on the offensive, firing two dozen or so Ki Needles at the group. Every single one of her projectiles find their marks, a moment later they all detonate as a group. The Sangheilis' bodies are all erased, turning to little more than wisps of smoke that all fly away from your group at high speed. The creature, confused, looks up back and forth, finding your group.

“Thank you, they were gonna... Hold on. You all are alive, you aren't supposed to be here. How did you all get down here?” the demon asks, you walking over and offering it a hand up. It hesitantly takes the offered hand, you pulling the big guy up to his feet. “Wait. That scar, your face, you... You're Tatsu's boy, aren't you?”

“You know my father?” you ask the man, letting go of his hand as he bends down, picking up an almost comically small spiked club for someone of his size and build.
“Of course, he talks about you all the time. How his son's the strongest there is, said you even fought the Destroyer. He's been doing great work, keeping the uppity demons who used to serve Trigon from breaking out into the mortal plane.” the man tells you, Chilli smiling at this from the corner of your eye. “But when that creature Demongo appeared, he tried to stop him. But he wasn't strong enough. Demongo then absorbed his soul, turning him against us. We didn't stand a chance.”

“Tatsu....” you mutter, feeling your anger rising at this monster. How DARE Demongo take your father?! You're going to make him pay for that.
“Can you take us to him?” Chilli then asks, the demon turning to your son. And, after looking at him for a second the demon's complexion pales, immediately turning compliant and apologetic.
“Of course sir, forgive me sir, I didn't realize you were there.” the demon says, his sudden shift in tone confusing you. “Lord Reaper, he was headed to the Demon King's castle. I can take you there.”
“I would appreciate it. You take us there, and we'll handle Demongo.” your son promises, the demon bowing before turning, taking off at a sprint. You and your wife share a look, surprised that your son's title of 'Reaper' carries such weight and commanding presence.

You all follow the demon, who moves surprisingly swiftly, bounding across the ground far faster than his size and powerlevel would suggest. It only takes a minute or so before he comes to a ridge and slows down, coming to a stop as he gets to the top and points down. Directly at a castle made of some sort of black rock, rising up out of the middle of a lake of lava.

“The Demon King's Castle. His majesty, the Demon King Dabura rules over the demon realm from this seat of power, only accessible to this realm through the castle itself.” the blue-skinned man says. Then, as if on cue, from within the castle is a massive ki explosion, breaking several towers off the fortress which all fall into the lava as a figure rises into the sky over the fortress. One which you, Meloka, AND the demon with you all recognize. “King Dabura.”

But as he hovers there, you all watch as millions of beings shoot up out of the smoke cloud from the blast towards him. Led by two familiar, golden-armored figures.

“Shit.” you mutter, clenching your fists and powering up to at least your Berserker form as you recognize the two Arbiters who had fallen to your hand. Looks like you're going to be saving the Demon King Dabura for a second time.

>One was a man who served because he believed wholeheartedly in the cause.
Not a fault in and of itself, but not a point in his favor either. It rests entirely on the cause he served, which was the Covenant at the height of its power.
>Another served because he wanted to protect his people from a ‘great evil’.
A common theme in many a champion, but there's still the matter of what specifically was done to try and protect his people.
Given that he's ended up in Hell, the weight of his sins must have been enough to stay his feet.
>While another stepped up so someone else wouldn’t be chosen to don the armor instead.
The only circumstances befitting a proper leader. Here's hoping Khor doesn't have any atrocities under his belt like his predecessors.

Over and over again.
He was a true believer, would do anything for the cause. Including leading an assault on New Salda, or shouldering all the blame of leading the attack the Prophets pushed off to him.
This was the current Arbiter's reason for taking up the golden armor, not the second Arbiter you fought numerically. We may see one day where he ends up.
This was number 2's reason for joining. He knew that the Arbiter only met one end, and refused to let another of his kind shoulder that burden. Not after the disgrace the first Arbiter you killed left on the armor.

Good luck.

No, he's down in the Demon Realm further 'below'.

You all watch as, with a roar Dabura fires a massive, fiery beam straight down at the sea of beings swarming him, his blast incinerating dozens if not scores of beings. However, the Arbiters both survive, leaping through the blast and swinging their blades at him. The demon king creates a sword of his own from fire, which hardens into an actual curved, single-edged blade that catches both of the Arbiters' golden blades. With a shove he knocks them both back, creating a javelin with his free hand and throws it at the second Arbiter. Who seemingly still has his Stand, the weapon disintegrating as it strikes his unarmored left hand.

“We have to get over there.” you say, but it is Leyas who surprisingly speaks up first.
“And do what? Until we kill Demongo, he can just keep bringing them back.” he says. “We need to focus on finding and destroying him, the Demon King can hold his own for a while.”
“No. If Dabura falls, his mantle will go to Demongo. The LAST thing we need is him getting the Demon King's power added to his own.” your son argues, you debating it to yourself as you watch him get pushed further back, the Arbiters clearly giving him trouble. You don't doubt he could take either of them on their own without much issue, but with the two of them, as well as the swarm of other warriors he has to keep firing large-scale attacks to keep at bay, many of them also Covenant aliens, he probably won't last long enough for you all to locate and destroy Demongo.

So, what do you do? How will you handle this situation?
>Tell Chilli and Meloka to go with the twins and hunt down Demongo, you'll help Dabura yourself and keep him alive until they finish the job
>Have Chilli and Meloka help Dabura while you go with Leyas and Sarada to hunt down Demongo inside the Demon King's castle
>Tell the twins to defend him, then when they take the Arbiters down grab their souls, use them to try and infiltrate Demongo and free the trapped souls. It might not work, but if they can take those threats down then Dabura will have a far easier time with the rest

>Tell Chilli and Meloka to go with the twins and hunt down Demongo, you'll help Dabura yourself and keep him alive until they finish the job
We're the only ones with a stand, and one of the arbiters and potentially some other bastards in the crowd have those too. I'm confident in our longevity if we have the soulstone with us, and I think we're more than capable of giving the Demon King some much needed breathing room. Plus Leyas and Sarada know some of Demongo's tricks. Let's re-kill this uppity bastards for good.

“YOU!” Ubo shouts, suddenly exploding off the ground and blurring towards the swarm of warriors rising up towards the Demon King and the two Arbiters. You watch as a familiar red-headed Kryptonian warrior you'd last seen captured by a Towa surge out of the group, only to be flying tackled by Ubo and disappear from sight up in the faraway clouds overhead. For a moment the battle stops, everyone turning to where the two Kryptonians went in confusion. Which you take to give everyone the plan.
“Chilli, Meloka, go with Leyas and Sarada to hunt this bastard down. I'll protect Dabura.” you say, clenching your fists and powering back up into your strongest form. “GO!”

And without waiting for a response you kick off the ground as well, launching yourself straight at the two Arbiters. Who had turned the moment you transformed, no doubt recognizing your voice. The one with the dual blades and the one with the exposed left arm share a look, nod, then abandon their pursuit of the Demon King as they blast off towards you.

“YOU!” the First Arbiter roars, drawing back both blades and launching into a spin as he gets close. In response you activate your Energy Body, blocking his strikes with your left forearm and grab his head in your right, crushing his skull and tossing his body at the second. Who cuts through his ally with his own golden blade, lunging for your face with his left hand while the first's body turns to smoke, flying back down into the castle below.
“DIE!” the second shouts, trying to grab you with his Stand-clad left, but you're too quick for him. Twisting counterclockwise around his outstretched arm with the Su Ma technique, you spin around into a vicious roundhouse, left heel cutting through his armored head like paper. He dies as well, also returning to smoke that returns to the castle down below.

“Karn? What are YOU doing here?” the demon king asks, firing another blast into the rising swarm of warriors. “Dead already?”
“Nah, just here as a favor.” you reply, ending your Energy Body while drawing your right back and firing a Scattershot down into the swarm. Your attacks explode, erasing hundreds and turning them all into that same wispy smoke-like form that drops down into the castle below. “Demongo captured one of Aku's daughters.”
“So I noticed.” he replies, a second later the one Aku called Ashi leaps from the smoke cloud your blasts kicked up, body taking on a draconic form and unleashing a column of fire at you both. Which you both easily avoid, Dabura again conjuring one of his javelins and pitches it down, striking true right between her eyes.

But the weapon has no real effect on her, Ashi's Aku-like body absorbing the weapon completely then firing it back. Dabura deflects the spear with his sword, growling a bit under his breath.

“I hope you have some method of dealing with her?” he asks, to which you wordlessly drop down towards her beastly form. Ashi roars, lunging and trying to bite at you. Which you oblige, but don't take her teeth, instead flying down inside her mouth down into her body, then gather your ki. And with a roar let your power explode out from you in all directions, your Explosive Wave shredding her body from the inside. “Impressive.”
“GAAAAAH!” the other Kryptonian shouts as his body is knocked down out of the clouds, crashing into his own crater outside the lake of lava. But before he can get up, Ubo blitzes him, smashing both fists into his chest and driving the both of them deep underground.
“EVEN IT UP!” you hear a voice shout, turning to see another Sangheili charging you. However, as he does suddenly the splitjaw's powerlevel explodes, surging to match even your own! His speed increases hundreds of times over, blinking to you and swinging at your head with his blade.

“SHIT!” you exclaim, flipping backwards under the strike and narrowly avoid being decapitated. If you hadn't seen him coming, you could have died. But as you flip you kick up, left boot smashing into his chin and snapping his head backwards. Using the momentum of your kick you twist, spinning around into a right roundhouse. Heel smashing into the side of his head and sending the Stand user staggering back. Only for your instincts to suddenly scream out that you're in danger, death is coming for you! And it's right behind you! “HAAAAAA!!”

Your sudden burst of power sends the Stand-wielding Sangheili back, but also stops a smaller being that was approaching from behind. You turn, only to see the being you couldn't sense was the eldest of the assassin clan you'd helped erase, Zeno Zoldyck.

“Alert as ever. NOW!” he says, you again sensing danger from behind. But this time you don't retreat, instead activate your Energy Body, charging straight for Zeno instead and simply slam into him at full power. Sending the small, old assassin flying down at the ground while you turn, seeing his son Silva has two massive orbs of purple ki, lightning crackling around them as he swings both at you. Clearly planning to sandwich you between them. Without enough time to evade you brace yourself, blocking the strikes on your armored forearms a moment before swinging out with both arms, knocking the blasts back and giving you an opening to charge. One you take full advantage of, blitzing the large man and driving your fist straight through his face. Killing him again and turning him to that same wispy, smoky energy as his orbs fade into nothing.

“Seems you have plenty of enemies down here, Saiyan.” Dabura says, firing another wide-angled blast down into the mass of warriors, many of which you now realize are Sangheili. No doubt those killed during the war. However, after it travels down a certain distance you see ANOTHER blast fired back up from within the crowd, the two beams clashing. Then as Dabura ends his blast the identical blast stops too, you remembering that Stand as well. Then, beside the mirror you see another Sangheili with an odd looking Stand with a mirror held up to its face, the wielder suddenly calling out.

“Two Hearts! Copy that monster! The Saiyan who destroyed our home!” he shouts, and to your shock his Stand begins to change. Its appearance morphs from a blue hat and cloak wearing humanoid being with an eye on its left palm into YOU, taking on your appearance and even your power. It matches your strength exactly, mirroring you one to one. “Use his power to destroy him!”
“GRRRRAAAAAAA!!” this copy of you roars, emerald aura blazing while lightning crackles around his body. The Stand then blasts off towards you, power an exact match of your own.

But what do you do now?

“RRRAAAAA!!” you roar, surging forward and slamming your right fist into your copy's, stopping it in place. “Demon King, kill him! Kill the summoner, and this copy of me disappea-!”

But your shout is interrupted as the copy follows the right up with a left, you drawing your forearm back and deflecting the heavy strike just past your head.Seizing the opening you jab with your left, only for this copy to activate his Energy Body a moment before impact. Negating the force of your strike, the punch not even budging him.

“Don't give me orders, mortal!” Dabura replies, firing twin beams from his eyes through a trio of Sangheili before cutting down a fourth with his blade.
“I can't help as long as I'm stuck fighting myself.” you call back, activating your own Energy Body as the Stand drives its knee up into your chest. Your armor mitigates the strike, you barely feeling the blow. Immediately you then grab his leg in both hands, spinning and tossing the other you at the mirror-wielding Stand. Who can't stop him, the fake you slamming into the mirror-wielding Stand user and sending him down into the never-ending sea of rising warriors, vanishing in the crowd. You try and take this moment to attack, dropping your Energy Body while gathering your ki into a fingertip, but the copy you teleports to you, grabbing your wrist before you can aim your Death Beam at the wielder. He then swings his right down from his forehead in a backfist, forcing you to bring your own right up to stop him. The copy releases you the moment his fist makes contact, the force of his overwhelming power sending you flying back.

Then, as you try and recover, see the copy focus its attention on the Demon King. He smirks, malice written on his face as his own Energy Body drops, pointing all ten fingers at Dabura. Realizing what's about to happen you focus on the Demon King's ki, teleporting between him and the copy of yourself just as he fires a Scatter Beam.

“BARRIER!” you shout, energy expanding into a sphere around you both as well as the two Sangheili he's killing, spear through one's chest while his sword has cleaved the other's head in two. As they turn to smoke the ten beams strike your shield, but the Barrier prevents them from entering. Strange enough, however, it seems that while inside your Barrier, the smoky essence of the fighters can't escape out of it. Something you telepathically tell Meloka, your wife acknowledging this before immediately ending the link again.
“Insolent little-!” Dabura says, hefting his spear and chucking it at the Stand user. Seeing this, the copy of you drops the attack, planning on intercepting it. But you're just as fast as he is, teleporting between it and him with Instant Transmission.

“OUT OF MY WAY!!” the Stand roars, Energy Body shattering as it lets the Berserker God aura blaze. Then, to your shock it summons YOUR Stand around its right hand, charging you head-on. “GO!”
“GRRROOOAAAAR!” the copy-Stand bellows, you conjuring Divine Dragon Force as well to meet his charge. Noticeably, only your real Stand's eyes blaze with emerald fire, the two draconic Stands slamming into each other at full power. Each trying to pierce the other, to end the fight in a single blow. But you hold him back, your Stand and the other both vying for advantage before your bodies close in, left fists smashing into each other's. But then, before it can try anything else, the Stand reverts back into its previous form, then vanishes into motes of light. You turn, looking over your shoulder to see that the Sangheili hadn't died to the spear, but has instead been turned into a statue made of stone. One that drops out of the air, smashing into a million pieces against the ground far below.

“Appreciate it!” you call to the Demon King, who without hesitation returns to the fight by opening his mouth, drowning the approaching warriors in a torrent of fire. But as he does, you see a distortion in the air behind him. And without hesitation fire a Death Beam directly at it. Dabura, seeing your attack headed at him his eyes widen with fear, then confusion when your attack misses entirely. Ending his flames he turns fully to you, only to suddenly sense the being behind him. He spins, swinging his large sword only to strike the invisible Sangheili, bisecting it just as it becomes visible with a giant burning hole in its chest where your beam had struck true. As he stares at the now-visible assassin you fly backwards to him, turning and firing a pair of Scattershots down into the encroaching horde.

“I must thank you for the assist. Without your attack, I wouldn't have sensed his approach.” Dabura says, sounding genuinely appreciative. “But we must retake my throne room. It doesn't matter how many of these spirits we defeat, he can keep restoring them over and over again.”
“I have family working on that.” you tell him, drawing an arm back and firing another Scattershot down into the horde trying to get close enough to attack. “If they stop pursuing us, that means they found him.”
“Using me as a distraction? Quite the arrogant play.” Dabura replies, again firing a wide fiery blast down at the horde of warriors. Many of who are clearly Sangheili. But are you sure they can defeat him?”

“My wife the Super Saiyan God, and my son the Reaper are leading.” you tell him as a vaguely familiar humanoid appears through the smoke, looking up at you with a smirk. “If they can't do it, I don't know if I can.”
“Karn. That's a nice powerup you've got there.” the man says, eyes shining as his powerlevel suddenly explodes. “I think I'll take it.”

You watch in shocked silence as yet ANOTHER being copies you, the young man roaring in pain as his body explodes. Tearing free of his previous body his new form emerges, large and muscular like yourself, emerald hair grown down to his waist.

“Hehehe, now THIS is some good power!” he replies, clenching and unclenching his fist before returning his attention to you. “This time, I'm killing you for sure.”
“Who are you again?” not immediately recognizing the man. He then snarls, lunging at you with the full speed and power of the Berserker God form. With a cross arm block you stop his punch, yet the force of the blow sends you flying backwards. Only for a chain to fly at you from your left, you leaning back and narrowly avoiding the piercing tip. “Tch!”
“Take him, brother!” the chain-wielding man shouts as he then directs it to wrap around you, to bind you in place. “Break him!”
“HAAA!” you roar, letting off a small Explosive Wave to blast the chain away, only for the transformation-copying brother to close the distance and swing again. As your blast ends you barely manage to dodge, ducking the blow and driving your right square into his guts. He wheezes out as you force the air from him, knocking him a dozen yards away from you. Only for the Demon King to throw another spear at him. However, the weapon strikes him and shatters, the enraged younger man turning his gaze to Dabura.

“What?” he exclaims, shocked his attack had no effect. But before the Demon King can react further the newest Berserker God surges towards him, clearly intent on ending his life. But you're just as fast, flying in and kicking him upside the head just as he almost grabs Dabura, sending the powerful copycat flying.
“I'll handle that one.” you tell the Demon King, retaking your fighting stance as the warrior regains his balance, glaring at you. Only to snarl then roar, aura blazing as the rage overpowers his reasoning, charging blindly towards you.

You hadn't unlocked Berserker at that time. You combined your Super Saiyan with Meloka using Oozaru, forcing him into Golden Oozaru which burned his body's stamina out in under a minute. We'll see how long an underworld body can maintain Berserker God.

“Heh, you think matching my power will let you fight me?” you ask, clenching your fists and powering up to full, charging him headfirst. He tries to swing at you with a heavy right overhand. Which you knock aside with your left forearm, knocking his strike aside while driving your right into his face. Bone crunches under your fist as you break his nose and face, sending him staggering back.
“Gyah!?” he exclaims, left hand going to his face reflexively as he swings his right back and forth, flailing in a futile attempt to keep you away from him. You dash in, blocking his backfist with your left forearm, driving your right fist into his lower ribs and feeling them crack. He gasps in pain, tries swinging at you with his right. Which you avoid, using your right forearm to deflect the sloppy blow over your head while twisting, driving your left into his right side's ribs. “KYAAH!”

“BROTHER!” the chain-user shouts, dashing at your back. You then grab him by the head, turning and throwing the man using stolen copied power at his brother. “Wha-!”

Both crash together, the smaller chain-wielder unable to stop the copycat Berserker God's momentum, the two brothers sent flying backwards.

“GRRRAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, emerald energy exploding out from his body that shreds the smaller one's body completely before dashing back at you in a mindless rage. He swings with a heavy right, one you stop by deflecting it out with your left forearm, then wrap your arm around his, catching and holding it to your side while driving your right fist at his face. Again you feel his broken bones crumble from the force of your blow, the man gurgling as you turn, dropping your right elbow down on top of his own. Breaking the man's arm at the joint and further disabling him as he leans back, trying to get away.

You immediately seize the opening, driving your right elbow square into his throat with your full strength in an attempt to end this fight here and now. You feel his internal structures break and crumble under the force of your attack, the man gurgling in a vain attempt to try and draw breath. But with his throat crushed, he can no longer breathe. And, realizing that he's going to die, you see him draw his arms in, energy spiking as he no doubt plans to unleash everything he's got left in a last-ditch effort to take you with him. You only have a moment to act, seconds to strike before he explodes with all the power of a Berserker God. But you know what to do, reaching out with both hands and grab his skull between them. And with your full strength, you squeeze, crushing the man's head into paste between your hands. Turning to that same smoke-like form, that energy flying back down towards the castle far below.

Only for your instincts to suddenly warn you that, once more, you're in danger.

You turn, only to see an all-too familiar form, swinging a ki blade at your neck. But he's no match for your power, you stopping the blade with your bare hand as you meet your father's eyes.

“Dad...” you say, feeling sad that even he's fallen to this demon.
“Heh, that's my boy.” he replies, bringing his one good leg up and kicking off your chest. You let him go so he flips back from the force of the kick, reorienting on you as he ends the blade. “Now, show me what you've got! Show me the full might of your Berserker God power!”

With that declaration your father draws his right arm back, gathering his ki into his palm. Reminding you of your final moments with him, so with a smirk you mirror him, both of you gathering your energies.

“FINAL! SHINE!” you both shout, then throw your right hands forward simultaneously, unleashing your full powers at each other. “ATTAAACK!!”

Your energy absolutely dwarfs his own, his beam barely putting up any resistance to what you are now. Both his beam and body are obliterated by your blast, his energy returning to that smoke-like form, flying back down towards the castle.

“Don't give in, son.” you can almost hear him say, you clenching your fist and drawing upon your rage. That bastard Demongo forced you to kill your father AGAIN, and for that you're going to make sure he pays! However, before you can do anything, suddenly ALL of the fighters turn to smoke. The cloud rushes back towards the castle down below, you only now realizing that it looks... Different.
“What is this? Dabura says, the demon king looking down in confusion as you realize what's happening. “What has happened to my castle?”
“Heh. Attaboy Chilli.” you say, staring down at the castle now completely encased in crystal, the smoke not able to enter it at all. Seems he found a way to keep them from coming back as well.

“Let's get in there and end this.” you say to Dabura, raising your right to your forehead while holding your left out to him and finding your son's ki signature with your ki sense. The demon king looks from his castle to you then nods, putting his hand atop yours as you teleport inside the Demon King's castle. But, despite how it looked from the outside, nothing could prepare you for what you find as you appear within its depths.

And that's it for this episode, did you enjoy the ride? Ready to see what lurks within Demon King Dabura's castle? Are you ready to finish this fight with that creature once and for all? Curious how Chilli, Meloka, Leyas and Sarada's fight has been going, and what they've been busy fighting inside with him? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>
>>5844551
Demongo needs to get hit with the extra strength DDF, as soon as we figure out how to extract his hostages. Fucking creep. Starting shit when he's THIS late to the game and when his biggest enemy has THE Karn in his contacts list is the worst mistake possible for him.

Dad, not again...DEMONGO WE WILL RIP YOUR SPINE OUT YOUR ASSHOLE AND FLAY YOU WITH IT!
>>
>>5844551
Chilli is best nerd ever, and shall get the MVP for letting us catch this motherfucker.
>>
>>5844563
Chilli may have an answer. But he's not the biggest problem at the moment. Remember which OTHER soul Dabura kept locked up in his castle?
>>5844569
If he had a spine, he'd be shivering in his boots. Best he can give are a bunch of skulls
>>5844570
He's fighting for his life in there. But you telling Meloka, who told him what you'd discovered is what inspired this technique. And, also, to keep someone else from reaching out of the castle magically.

>If he had a spine, he'd be shivering in his boots.
I am going to use a wish to give him a spine.
>>
>>5844577
>Remember which OTHER soul Dabura kept locked up in his castle?
I thought we anihilated the potato. Wait, no, he probably still has his soul. Without his pet project I don't think he has an edge in an all out brawl. Brainwashing probably won't do him good either, since we're immune, Ubo has been chugging his Good Boy juice as of late, Meloka has her eggs in a basket at her age by now, and a much more talented archwizard is right there to shut him down instantly. At best, there's only Dabura and the twins he could mindsnatch.
>>
>>5844581
Ha
>>5844584
Not an edge in a direct fight, but he could keep Chilli relatively out of the fight with magic. Forcing him to duel the other wizard lest he unleash his power directly against Meloka and the twins. Ubo's still outside the castle, you hadn't waited for him before going in. Which may or may not be a good thing, after all Kryptonians have absolutely no magic resistance.
>>
Been debating which way to take the epilogue, so I’ll ask for some outside opinions. Do we want to follow Chilli’s pov on what’s happened so far, Karn Jr’s adventure at Raven’s, or perhaps someone else’s more introspective journey?
>>
>>5844798
I feel like following Chilli's POV would be better for keeping players "in the moment" so to speak for the next session. That's assuming it's posted later in the week though.
If it's earlier in the week, I'd be down with Jr. or this introspective person.

I'm cooking with this patron epilogue, if you're not a part yet you should totally join for only a dollar a month. We're diving into how Chaya acquired her own lightsaber crystal for the November comm, which I'm now at the equivalent to the 12th post's worth of story here and still going. The greatest hero of the old order, their strongest warrior against Chaya.
>>
>>5845834
>spoiler
Oh Yoda would have flipped his shit if he found out that guy was a hero amongst the Order.
>>
>>5845855
Remember, the universe was well into the Clone Wars when Bibidi brought forth Buu, destroying Coruscant. Along with many of the Order as well as Palpatine. Meaning that, after Buu's rampage was over, Skywalker never fell to the dark side and lived out his days.
>>
>>5845878
I was more referencing the fact that he's a droid and Yoda in particular held a ton of prejudice towards non-carbon lifeforms.
>>
>>5845894
I take it you don't know what a PROXY droid was. They were training machines programmed with the fighting styles of others into them. The droid itself wasn't the hero, rather, who it is impersonating to fight Chaya that was the hero.
>>
>>5845903
Ah, I see. I was thinking you were referring to a specific PROXY droid, but then I realized it couldn't be that one if Vader was never around.

Midichlorians aren't a thing in this setting, right?

Trying to clone force-sensitives doesn't ever go well.
Who knows? Even if they are, you don't know about them nor have any way to check if they exist.

I was asking because I think they're retarded as a concept and invalidate a lot of what made the OT good, but I suppose that's not entirely relevant now.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 207 Epilogue -

AGE 757, NEW SALDA

“Chilli, mind leading us in?” your father asks, turning to you. You feel your eyes widen in surprise, wondering why he is asking YOU to lead. Which is usually his job. “You've got more experience with the dead than the rest of us, maybe even combined.”
“Y-Of course, follow me.” you reply after a moment's thought, realizing again just how much faith and trust your father puts into you. Ascending into your strongest Saiyan form, you decide to give everyone a few words of advice from what you know and learned from Lord Jergal. “Everyone, before we go in, a few things you all need to know. Don't eat or drink anything in the underworld. If you do, you won't be able to come back. And don't accept a gift from anyone, no matter how well you knew them in life. Any gift from the underworld will have...Strings attached. Even if they don't tell you about them. Now, let's take this demon bastard down.”

“Hell yeah!” Leyas says, immediately flaring his own aura up and following right behind you as you strike to the door
“Let's kill this bastard.” Sarada replies, punching something, presumably her own hand. “I aught to... Thank him, for letting me gain access to this power. With a demonstration of what he created.”
“Be on your guard, brave warriors.” Aku says as you stride directly into the portal. Crossing the threshold from the world of the living to the realm of the dead. For just a moment you feel Death wash over you, a sensation that would have given you a fright years ago. But you're so used to the sensation now that you barely register it, instead focusing on the world as it appears to you now. Looking much the same as the last time you were here on business for Lord Jergal. Except for one of the demonic guards, who is surrounded by Sangheili with their swords stabbing him repeatedly.

As you look at this your mother immediately goes on the offensive, firing two dozen or so Ki Needles at the group. Every single one of her projectiles find their marks, a moment later they all detonate as a group. The Sangheilis' bodies are all erased, turning to little more than soul wisps that all fly away from your group at high speed, back towards the demon who gave them corporeal forms once more as the demon guard rises back to his feet.

“Thank you, they were gonna... Hold on. You all are alive, you aren't supposed to be here. How did you all get down here?” the demon asks as your father walks over and offers his hand, the big man taking it and letting Karn pull him upright. “Wait. That scar, your face, you... You're Tatsu's boy, aren't you?”

“You know my father?” Karn asks as he releases him, the demon picking up an almost comically small spiked club for someone of his size and build.
“Of course, he talks about you all the time. How his son's the strongest there is, said you even fought the Destroyer. He's been doing great work, keeping the uppity demons who used to serve Trigon from breaking out into the mortal plane.” the guardian of the gate tells him. “But when that creature Demongo appeared, he tried to stop him. But he wasn't strong enough. Demongo then absorbed his soul, turning him against us. We didn't stand a chance.”

“Tatsu....” your father mutters, his emerald aura flaring up a bit as he clenches his fist. The ENTIRE REALM starts trembling at your father's anger, his body growing slightly in size
“Can you take us to him?” you ask, the guard turning to you quizzically. But as he sees your face his complexion pales, immediately turning compliant and apologetic.
“Of course sir, forgive me sir, I didn't realize you were there.” he says, tone shifting immediately and no longer acting suspicious. Whereas before you all were intruders, now he realizes that you're a Reaper here on official business and don't have time to bother answering to someone of his station. “Lord Reaper, he was headed to the Demon King's castle. I can take you there.”
“I would appreciate it. You take us there, and we'll handle Demongo.” you tell him with a nod, the demon bowing before turning, taking off at a sprint. You can feel everyone's confusion as they all look to you, but you pay that no mind, following after the man.

You are the Crystal Sage Chilli son of Karn, father to two of the best children ever, the greatest Saiyan Archwizard, Super Saiyan, wielder of Disparity and the Godsbane, the first Reaper serving Lord Jergal to have killed a god in the last thousand years. And the first to do so with less than three centuries' experience. However, as you follow the demon as he run-lumbers across the plains, you can't help but notice how EMPTY the underworld seems. Usually there are thousands of spirits present, but at the moment you can sense few. Those you can, you can tell they're hiding. No doubt from the demon Demongo. Which is....Worrying. You remember how many Sangheili were outright hostile towards you on your previous visit, if he captured them all...

“The Demon King's Castle. His majesty, the Demon King Dabura rules over the demon realm from this seat of power, only accessible to this realm through the castle itself.” the blue-skinned man says, more to everyone else with you than to you yourself. Then, as if on cue, from within the castle is a massive ki explosion, breaking several towers off the fortress which all fall into the lava as a familiar figure rises into the sky. “King Dabura.”

But as he hovers there, you all watch asmillionsof beings shoot up out of the smoke cloud from the blast towards him. Led by two familiar, golden-armored figures.

“Shit.” your father mutters, ascending into his Berserker form as he stares angrily at the two Arbiters. Ones he clearly recognizes, perhaps both of them. However, before any of you can say anything else, it is Ubo who acts first.

“YOU!” Ubo shouts, suddenly exploding off the ground and blurring towards the swarm of warriors rising up towards the Demon King and the two Arbiters. He slams into a redheaded being radiating with surprising power, knocking both of the all the way up into the faraway clouds overhead. For a moment the battle stops, everyone turning to where the two Kryptonians went in confusion as your own jaw drops. He just.... Ubo just tackled that man from the underworld up into the heavens themselves. Just how powerful IS he now?
“Chilli, Meloka, go with Leyas and Sarada to hunt this bastard down. I'll protect Dabura.” your father commands, power exploding to insane levels as he once more takes on the power of the Berserker God. “GO!”

And without waiting for a response he kicks off the ground as well, launching himself straight at the two Arbiters. Who both see him coming, abandoning their pursuit of the Demon King and take off towards him.

“Karn's got Dabura, but those warriors will just keep reappearing until we kill Demongo.” your mother says, turning from her husband back to the castle. “I can sense the demon inside, just like Aku earlier. Let's go.”
“Right.” you reply, ready to follow her lead.
“Right behind you.” Sarada answers, both she and Leyas powering up to full. The four of you charge, leaving the gate guard behind and rocketing over the lava straight to the castle's main double doors. You follow your mother as she flies at them, leaning back and smashing both feet into the doors. Kicking them open and leading you all into some sort of throne room, judging from the giant chair atop a dais. And in that chair sits Demongo, grinning wickedly with a hint of familiar magic coming from him, centered on his forehead.

“Well well, if it isn't two of my faaaavorite little minions. Have you come to return to my ssservitude?” the Abyssal being asks, grinning wickedly. He then notices your mother and his eyes widen a bit, you clearly recognizing the fear there before he regains his composure. “And you have brought a deity with you as well? What a treat, it has been so long sssince I devoured a god.”

“The only thing you're going to eat are these fists.” Sarada says, stepping past you all and cracking her knuckles as you sense some sort of magic woven in the air between you all and the throne. You can't quite tell what it is, but you do know that it isn't powerful. But, if you've learned ANYTHING about magic, you've learned that dangerous does not necessarily mean powerful. “But, I guess I do owe you my thanks. If you hadn't killed us before, we never would have ascended to this level of power.”
“So, as thanks, how about we show you firsthand?” Leyas asks, both the Primal Demons flaring their auras.
“Wait, there's ma-!” you start to shout but they're already gone, kicking off the stone floor directly at the being. But as they charge, suddenly they simply vanish. Their ki disappears completely, as if sucked into an alternate dimension. Almost as if.... Oh no.

“What the hell did you do?” your mother asks, sounding very angry at this yet not losing her head and attacking as well. In fact, you can feel her Energy Shell spreading out around her, growing larger invisibly as to avoid being noticed. That's when her eyes widen, immediately raising her left hand and firing a Scatter Beam at the area they'd vanished from. Piercing through and shattering an invisibility spell unilke anything you've ever seen, revealing a terrifying visage. Conquered or not, the sight of Carnival Forever Requiem alive and well still sends a chill up your spine. Made even worse by the same magic on Demongo on this evil Stand as well. And after sensing three spells, recognize the caster's handiwork.

“Come on out, Babidi. I know you're in here.” you say, hearing your mother make a surprised noise. “I'd recognize the smell of your inefficient magic anywhere.”
“Impressive that you managed to see through my magic, Saiyan.” another familiar voice says, one you'd also not hoped to hear from again as the diminutive figure steps out from behind the throne. Your mother lets out a small, sharp inhale as she sees him, Babidi stepping up beside Demongo. “Guess I do not need these anymore.”

And with a wave of his hand banishes the magic around them, his emblems on their foreheads appearing and standing out in stark relief. But in that moment, the instant he can't use any counter magic you unleash your own through your feet. Instantly you cover the ground beneath you and in a circle in your crystals, spreading them further by the second. He sees your crystals spreading and immediately gives orders.

“Carnival Forever Requiem, take him now! Don't let him do whatever he's planning!” Babidi orders, the Stand immediately moving towards you. Your mother, however, has other plans, thrusting both hands out towards it then pulling them apart as she sends her energy towards it. You and Babidi watch as, surprisingly, your mother's ki surrounds the Stand, trapping it in place. “Wh-What?!”
“God Bind. Heh, looks like you were right, Whis.” your mother says, more to herself after she says the technique's name. “You're going nowhere.”
“How did you do it? How have you trapped me?” Carnival Forever Requiem asks her. “What have you done to cage me, exactly?”

“God Bind. A technique based off my husband's armor.” she replies, you understanding immediately. Instead of condensing her armor around herself, instead she condensed it around the area the Stand was within. No doubt using her Energy Shell's awareness to ensure she didn't miss. But then, as she says all this she reaches out to you telepathically. “Keep expanding your crystal magic. Can you encase the whole keep?”
“Yes, but why?” you reply, also telepathically.
“Your father found out that his Barrier traps the souls fighting outside from getting in.” she answers as several souls pour in from the door behind you, streaming over to Demongo and entering the skulls he wears. To which Demongo smirks, throwing more skulls into the air and zapping them with his power. Recreating both Arbiters, as well as several dozen other Sangheilli.

“Go, get me Demon King Dabura and Karn the Saiyans' heads.” the Abyssal demon orders, the warriors flying out of the throne room through the door behind you. TO which you have an idea. Instead of encasing the whole castle at once, instead you focus on the throne room itself. Sealing up the room all except for the doorway with your rapidly-expanding crystals from under your feet, saving it for last when they're distracted and not looking at the doorway. Spirits continue filing in, Demongo summoning dead warriors back. This time, however, he doesn't send them out of the room, instead surrounding you and your mother with splitjaws. “Now, take that off the clown. Or my boys'll cut you both to ribbons.”

“Chilli, if they attack I can't fight back and hold this too.” your mother tells you telepathically, you sensing a note of worry in her mind. Which you immediately try and assuage.
“Keep him trapped. I'll handle the small fry.” you reply aloud, taking your staff and swinging it, embedding the crystal blade into the crystal you've already grown and setting your spell to finish covering the door behind you then the whole castle with the power in it. Then, with both hands you take up the dragon bone Moonlight Greatsword, channeling your ki into the weapon and causing it to glow. But that's not all, you also snap the fingers of your left hand, calling your tome to you.

Instantly you can see Babidi's fear, the wizard taking a step back as he can no doubt recognize the powerful Death magic radiating from the artifact. The other spirits, warriors who have tasted death all also recognize the sensation of true Death, each one backing away as well. None want to be the first to taste Death once more.

“What are you all doing? Attack him!” Demongo orders, the Sangheili compelled to follow the creature's order. But they clearly don't look like they want to, fear in their eyes as they all charge you.
“Death Magic: Soul Maelstrom!” you shout, activating the spell tailor-made for a situation like this. You unleash the vortex of energy, drawing in all the nearby souls not housed within bodies. All the nearby Sangheili are drawn in immediately, condensed down into the same smoky soul wisps and drawn into the ancient tome.
“Papara papaaa!” Babidi shouts, creating a sphere of magical energy around himself and preventing his own soul from being taken. But he's not the only one who resists, your mother's God Bind keeping Carnival Forever Requiem in place. But then you end the spell, closing the book.

“You-You took my souls away?!” Demongo asks, sounding shocked at this. “How?! Who ARE you?”

To which you can't help but smirk, preparing to introduce yourself. Ohh, you so love it when they give you that line.
