After gaining all seven Dark Dragon Balls, thanks in no small part to Karn and his family's efforts, Mechikabura prepares for his revival: the Dark King's return is nigh! And with their powers gained in the effort to combat the God of Destruction, Lord Beerus, Karn and Meloka seek to master the strength of gods in preparation for the coming final battle between the Time Breakers and the Time Patrol. However, despite the PTO now comfortably ruling the majority of the known universe, threats still lurk there in the shadows. Beings who, for their own reasons, seek revenge against the Saiyan race. Will the Saiyans prevail? Or will their efforts all be in vain, overcome by their enemies past, present, and future?

You the players control Karn, the Berserker God with the power to fight against gods and other divine beings. From his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733, he has now become the strongest Saiyan of his time. Wielding the Berserker Soul, a power born of rage and hatred now combined with That Which Should Not Be, Karn has gained powers suited to facing the divine, and even those who wield the powers of Order, Law, and even Time itself. But will this newfound strength be enough to overcome the threats headed your way? Only time will tell, and your choices could be the difference between victory and defeat, winning and losing, even existence and not.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After confronting the God of Destruction just showing up in his home while he was away, Karn then offered Broly a choice with his Berserker power, the choice to keep that dangerous might or be free of it. Broly eventually chose to keep the power, claiming that he wished to take Karn's role as protector of their people one day but not before Karn confronted a Sangheili spy representing the new Sangheili leader. Meloka accepted an offer from Whis to train under the gods, leaving the mortal realm with Beerus' attendant and teacher. During that time she was gone, Karn traveled to Sanghelios to confront the Arbiter Khor 'Vadam, and as we rejoin Karn he's asked for a favor. A battle, to see if he compared to his predecessors and deserved the title of Arbiter.

“GRRRRAAAAAAAAA!! you roar, tapping into your Berserker power and transforming. You don't go into Berserker God, not even your Ascended Berserker form, but even as just the 'normal' Berserker, your powerlevel dwarfs the Arbiter standing before you. “Neither of your predecessors could withstand this level of power. So, let's see how you compare.”
“This is not your full strength.” Khor 'Vadam says, his expression unreadable. “Why are you still holding back?”
“If you prove stronger than your predecessors, I'll use more power against you than I did against them.” you reply, cracking your knuckles. “I won't lose, but I'm not going to simply crush you with my full power immediately. That won't prove anything except that my power is greater than your own.”

“I see... Very well, then I shall force you to fight me at full strength!” he declares, taking a fighting stance akin to the second Arbiter you'd fought. Blade held up parallel to the ground and fist by his head, the blade's twin points aimed at your face while his left is fully outstretched, palm towards you.

Well? How do you face the last Arbiter?
>Energy Body, rush in and attack with Djem So open hand to overpower and crush him
>Draw your Wolf Knight Greatsword and use your Djem So style to overwhelm him
>Rush in and use your Su Ma to evade his attacks and counter, don't let him so much as touch you
>Energy Body and focus on defense, let him rush you so you can gauge his technique and level of power more accurately before attacking

In response you reach out behind your back, drawing the ancient, magical blade from off your back as well. Matching your Berserker size you take the weapon in both hands before you then raise it overhead in the Djem So stance, blade parallel to the ground and seemingly leaving your whole body wide open to an inexperienced fighter. But Khor 'Vadam's eyes narrow, studying your stance a moment. Clearly recognizing the danger he'd be in by just blindly charging in. Seems he's got just as level a head for fighting as he does leading his people. But, if he won't come after you, then you'll have to take the fight to him!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmH_wUt2o6g

“If you won't take the initiative, then I will!” you declare, aura blazing as you kick off the ground towards him. He matches your charge, sword drawn back over his left shoulder. The two of you, meeting far closer to where he started than you both swing, metal and solid energy crashing together. Golden sparks fly from the point of impact, blown away by the shock wave generated by the force of the clash. “Heh. Not bad, you managed to stop that one. But let's see how you handle THIS!”

Drawing your blade back you feint with a thrust towards his face, catching him with it as the Arbiter raises his blade to defend. But then you whip the blade around, the metal going over his head before you swing for his side. At the last instant you turn your grip, striking him with the flat of the blade against his left ribs instead of the edge and send him flying.

“Guhhrrrr!” he exhales then growls, flipping once backwards before reorienting himself. You then dash back in towards him, again blade raised overhead and swing down. But this time he doesn't even attempt to block with his blade, only raises his mostly unarmored left arm up to catch your sword as you've already turned the flat of the blade towards him. He brings the points of his sword up to your neck, stopping short as you do the same with your weapon, the flat of your ancient weapon inches from his arm. “Don't take me so lightly, or I will kill you, General Karn. Fight me like you truly mean it.”
“Seems I did underestimate you.” you reply, feeling a small smirk tug at the right side of your face. Then, without a gesture or word you both leap back from each other, retaking your fighting stances. “Alright, let's try this again.”

“And no more holding back!” the Arbiter declares, left hand going to his waist and drawing a second blade, just like his predecessor. “Fight me like your planet, your people's very lives depend on it!”
“Alright. But just remember, you asked for this.” you tell him, taking a deep breath in, then power up to one hundred percent of your base Berserker power with a roar. “HAAAAAAAAA!!”

Emerald aura surging, your powerlevel dwarfs the Arbiter's might, the force of your ki alone enough to push him back a foot or two. Then, before he can fully regain his balance you charge, swinging your sword down with all the power you have in this form. He raises both blades in an 'X' to catch your weapon, but it isn't enough, your power swatting him out of the air like a fly and sending him smashing into the ground like a meteor. His weapons and golden armor disappear in the sudden cloud of dust, several beings shouting in surprise from down below. Then everything goes quiet for a few seconds, everyone wondering if you just ended the fight. But, a few moments later, Khor 'Vadam makes his presence known, launching himself back up out of the could towards you.

“Yes, that's it! THAT'S the power I wanted to see!” he shouts, closing the distance and thrusting at your face with his left hand's sword. You swat that blade aside with your own, Khor 'Vadam twisting into a clockwise spin, swinging his right into a backfist at your head. Again you catch his attack with your blade, angling it so his sword slides along yours up and over your head. You then whip the blade in a circle around behind your head and into a heavy strike aimed at his left shoulder. The Arbiter raises his left blade, catching the attack across the flats of his sword and keeping the edge from cutting him.

However, he can't withstand the force of your blow, the force of it slamming into him and knocking him aside. Yet he doesn't fall, taking the momentum into another spin, his movements vaguely reminiscent of your own Su Ma you and Meloka had used back in the war. Seems the Sangheili have learned from the two of you, twisting around your blow and swinging into a right thrust towards your face that you catch with the cross guard. Narrowly you deflect his blades away from your eyes, whistling over your right shoulder instead. His eyes widen, you then swinging the pommel of your weapon square into his right mandibles. Metal folds, Khor 'Vadam's head snapping to the side as your blow knocks him back spinning. Flying back uncontrollably for several seconds, he finally comes to a stop, again raising his swords.

“Now that's more like it.” he says, chest heaving and blood dripping from his mouth. A moment later the man spits out a tooth that falls to the ground before retaking his fighting stance, both swords now pointed at you.

“You're not bad.” you reply, reaching back behind your back with your left hand, drawing the Gravity Hammer of the former Jiralhanae Chieftain. Holding both weapons out to your sides, aura blazing around you you speak a single word to Khor 'Vadam. “Come.”

Without hesitation the Arbiter kicks off the ground, surging towards you and spinning on his approach. His blades flash, you raising your blade up defensively while raising your left hand up overhead, judging his distance as he approaches. Then, at the rate he's moving you know when he'll be in the right spot, swinging your hammer down. But, to your surprise, he suddenly stops! Throwing both arms aside he stops his now seeming controlled spin completely, your hammer blow going to swing through empty air and leave you wide open.

“Tch!” you seethe through gritted teeth, seeing your opening with his arms wide and surge forward. Thrusting with the end of the Gravity Hammer, the flat of the striking surface slamming into his chest.
“Guoh!” he wheezes, caught completely by surprise with your sudden change in attack and is knocked backwards. As if by instinct he raises both weapons up into a cross, protecting his head and upper body from any follow-up attack. But he doesn't guard low, you diving in and swinging with an overhead sword chop. He raises both weapons, catching the attack but leaving his lower body wide open. Which you take advantage of, swinging the hammer into his exposed right side. The weapon activates, the shock wave exploding out from the hammer head and sending Khor 'Vadam flying. “Kuuaah!”
“Come on, is this the best you can do?” you call, blasting back towards him once again. He flips backwards, reorienting on you before dashing forward once again to meet your charge head-on.

“HAAAAA!” he shouts, flipping forward a full circle and swinging both blades down at full power. Raising your sword once more, you block both blades with your own, stopping his powerful charge. Once again he's left wide open, you thrusting the end of the hammer into his chest to knock him back away from you, following up with a thrust from your sword. Again he raises both weapons, crossing them and deflecting the point aside, narrowly avoiding the edge and point of your magical greatsword. But as he moves outside your right thrust, you see him draw his right blade back, aiming to thrust the weapon at your head. With no time to bring your sword back up, or spin around to bring your hammer to bear you have no other option, ducking. The blade whistles faintly as it passes harmlessly overhead, twisting your body counterclockwise and swinging the hammer around in a powerful backhanded strike.

The weapon activates, the shock wave exploding forth and sending the Arbiter flying. Continuing your spin you see him tumbling away head over heels, spinning wildly and out of control. Before he can reorient himself on you you've already closed the distance once more, raising the hammer overhead and swinging it down. Khor 'Vadam can't recover before you attack, the heavy weapon slamming down onto his back and unleashing another shock wave. The blast sends him straight down to the ground, crashing down near the glowing emerald crater and making another, smaller one beside it. You drop down slowly, landing a short distance away from the crater as the dust starts to settle. Everyone's quiet, watching the crater to see if their champion is finished or not.

“Well well, is this it?” Freeza asks, walking his golden self over towards the crater, peering in curiously. But he just smirks and stands back, a moment later Khor 'Vadam rises back up out of the hole. Chest slightly heaving, arms down by his sides he looks worse for wear, yet you can see the resolute fire in his eyes as he meets your gaze.
“I'm not. Done yet.” he says, reactivating his swords and once more taking his fighting stance. Blue blade pointed towards you, golden blade up by his face. “You. Haven't beaten. Me yet.”

“That's good resolve. But resolve without power is worthless.” you say, blazing your aura bright up around you. Dozens of Sangheili shout as the brightness hurts their eyes, but the Arbiter doesn't even blink. Focusing your energy, you then condense it down, hardening your ki into your Energy Body. You don't make it full power, but use enough of a light show to make your energy look more impressive than it was as you hold your arms out to the sides again, weapons held vertically. “Hit me with everything you've got, hold nothing back! Prove that you're worthy of the name Arbiter!”

Wordlessly Khor 'Vadam crouches, surging forward at full speed. But you don't make any effort to guard yourself, instead readying your counterattack by raising your hammer overhead. The Arbiter's golden blur closes in, thrusting with both swords straight at your chest. And, to your surprise, feel four pinpricks in your chest. Your eye twitches at the unexpected pain, seems you held back a bit too much when you made your Energy Body. But, even more surprised than you, Khor 'Vadam looks at you, shocked.

“Wh-What?!” he exclaims, eyes going from your chest to your face and back, clearly puzzled as you focus your ki, regenerating your armor and almost 'grabbing' his weapons with it. But you don't reply, simply bringing your hammer down. He tries withdrawing his swords, but with the regenerated energy holding them in place, is unable to pull them free. “SHI-!”

KABOOM

You slam the heavier weapon down on his right shoulder, barely hearing a sickening pop just before the blast. The hammer's shock wave knocks the Arbiter flat to the ground, tearing the right blade free of your chest while his hand slips off the left, leaving it impaled in your armor. While he's down you stab your blade point-first into the ground, pulling the Energy Sword from your chest and dropping it down beside the Arbiter, who starts trying to push himself up with his one good hand. However, as he does, your instincts suddenly warn you of danger from behind. You immediately turn clockwise, grabbing your sword back and tearing it free of the ground to see the Arbiter's Stand swinging its right handed ghostly blade at you as well.

“HAAAAA!” you shout, swinging your blade up to meet his own, but your sword passes harmlessly through the nearly-transparent Stand. An instant later its blade is thrust into your chest, yet you feel no pain. A moment later, however, everything changes. No longer are you on Planet Sanghelios, but find yourself back on a familiar battlefield. Everything's on fire, the first Arbiter swinging his blades back and forth, eyes darting between the two golden Super Saiyans with their energy blades flipping and spinning around him. And, after a couple seconds, recognize yourself and Meloka as the ones attacking him. What in the hell is this?

It takes you a split second to figure out what's going on, remembering that the new Arbiter's Stand could read your soul or something. You watch as you're nearly killed, narrowly saved by Meloka's Ascension and some quick thinking by Raven. And then, the scenery changes. Again you face that same Arbiter, this time on New Salda during the Siege. Your emerald aura blazing while Ascended, the first time you'd unknowingly used the Champion form. You fight your hardest, yet still come up short, saved at the last moment by the Supreme Kai in the only instance of him arriving before everything was already finished. You then witness your third fight with him where you murdered him on live tv, then the fight with the second Arbiter on Sanghelios, the battle ending in a massive explosion.

Having been within the blast at the time, you hadn't gotten to appreciate how much power that bomb had, but seeing it now and a lot of that blast's power getting pulled into the Bloodstone, merging it with your emerald Berserker power and unleashing a second, smaller green blast that turns the crater into the Soulstone crater. Then the visions end, you blinking then turning to face the Arbiter once more.

“Not once have you taken me seriously.” he says, eyes angry as he glares at you. “You haven't acted as if I was a threat, as if I was “worthy” of your attention this entire fight. I will not tolerate such a disgrace.”

And to your surprise, he throws his weapons down, standing with his arms out to the sides, unarmed and unafraid.

“If I am not worthy to face you, as those brave men were, then I'd rather die.” he declares, his resolve ringing in his voice. “Let my predecessors be remembered as the last Arbiters, so that I don't shame and disgrace their title.”
“It's not about that, I just-” you start, the Arbiter drawing another of those grenades.
“Then, if you won't even do this, I'll do it myself.” he replies, activating the device. “I would rather die than bring shame to my people, and the legacy of the Arbiter.”

Tell him that just because you're thousands of times stronger than you were when you fought against his predecessors doesn't mean that he's weak, the fact you didn't kill him in this fight is proof enough of his superior strength wins it. Going the harder path, let's see if it works. Roll me a 2d100. DC hidden.

“Shame? Khor, despite looking at my soul, you clearly don't understand what I have become.” you tell him, powering your Energy Body down. “You saw those battles, you saw how hard I was struggling against your predecessors. And thought that, because I didn't struggle the same way against you, that you were weaker than they were. The truth is, I'm so much stronger than I was then, it isn't even a contest.”

With a thought you reach for the Energy Blade that he hadn't retrieved, pulling it to your right hand. But it's too small in your giant hand, so with a thought and a sigh power back down to your base form. You see his eyes widen in surprise, you looking over the weapon a moment before finding the trigger and activating it. He watches the blade in anticipation, perhaps expecting you to lunge and try to take his hand off, to stop him from fully activating the grenade. But, instead you raise your left arm out, clenching your fist and flexing your muscles.

“What are you-?” he starts to ask while you raise the blade overhead, then swing it down on your exposed lower arm just past your armor. You feel your eye twitch as the stinging pain comes, your arm stopping the energy blade before it can even reach down to the bone. “Wh-What?!”
“This is the difference between who I was then, and now.” you say, leaving the sword embedded in your arm and raise it up overhead, showing the whole crowd. “I'm stronger in this form than I was when I fought your predecessor at full power on my home planet of New Salda. My power has grown thousands of times over where it was back then. This doesn't mean that you're weak, the fact I didn't kill you during our fight despite how many blows you took is proof of your superior strength.”

You then reach up, pulling the blade free of your arm as blood runs down both, deactivating the weapon and offering it out to Khor 'Vadam, to his shock.

“I consider myself pretty lucky I went up against both of them back in the day, instead of you as you are now.” you tell him, the Arbiter looking from the hilt to your eyes, shocked. “Who knows? If those damned worms had chosen you instead of either of them, perhaps the war might have gone differently.”

Everyone is silent at this, the Arbiter looking from your face to the offered weapon, hilt covered in a bit of your blood back to your face, looking unsure. Then, he throws the grenade skyward, barking a word in a language you don't understand. But it must be their own, as several shots fire up from various other gathered Sangheili, detonating the explosive where it can't do any damage. He then sighs out, kneeling and raising both hands up to accept the weapon.

“You have bested me completely.” Khor 'Vadam says, sounding tired. “I yield. You win, General Karn.”

When he takes the weapon from you he looks at it, but you have the feeling that he's not seeing it. Instead his mind seems far away, perhaps remembering whoever had given him the weapon. While he looks at the weapon Freeza walks over, strolling casually in his Golden form.

“Well, that wasn't how I expected this to go.” he says to you both, then reaches down and pats the kneeling Arbiter on his shoulder. “Don't feel too bad. His strength has even surpassed MY own power, at least for now.”
“Wha...? Hold on, you what?” Khor 'Vadam asks, looking from the emperor to you and back. “He's stronger than YOU? You destroyed High Charity in a single shot, yet you say he can defeat you?”
“Who said he can defeat me?” Freeza retorts, a note of faux-serious outrage in his voice. Had you not known him so well, you'd have probably thought he was genuinely angry like the Arbiter clearly does. “I only said that he was stronger.”

“Hmph. Seems that my attempts to see if I measured up were misguided.” Khor 'Vadam replies with a sigh, then looks over to see your hand still stretched out to him.
“Come on, get up. The Arbiter shouldn't be kneeling to me like a subject to a king.” you tell him, the man's eyes widening in surprise. After a moment he belts his sword, then reaches up with his right and takes your hand. You help pull him up to his feet, hearing a few, then around a dozen, then more and more of the gathered Sangheili cheering. But, over the cheers, he meets your eyes again, his earlier determination shining once more.

“If you're stronger than Lord Freeza, will you show me?” he asks you, tone serious. “Will you show me this true power of yours, without holding anything back?”

His question surprises you for a moment, you and Freeza sharing a glance. He simply shrugs, clearly leaving this up to you. You ponder it a moment, then after considering it simply sigh out, relaxing your body.

“Alright, I reckon I can show you what I've got. But I think everyone better get clear.” you tell him, cracking your neck left then right. “Going all out tends to be a little bit...Explosive.”
“Oh, this should be fun.” Freeza says, again powering up into his Golden form with a flash before leaping backwards. Seeing Freeza not only power up but ALSO get back, he immediately rushes away from you as well. You can sense the Sangheili all moving away from you, giving you even more room as you start focusing on your power.
“Alright, here goes.” you say, taking a deep breath in. Then, clenching your fists you shout, digging deep into the Berserker Soul's power. “HRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

Your ki explodes, the ground shattering beneath the weight of your power as you dig into the depths of that might. Your power surges higher and higher, arms and legs trembling as more and more power is channeled throughout your body. You feel your scalp start to itch as your body swells, feeling your hair growing down your neck and the backs of your arms.

“RRAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, armor shattering as your body's rapid expansion is more than the armor can take, shards flying as you take on your current strongest form. Your body trembles with barely-restrained power, emerald lightning crackling around you as you take a deep, slow breath in then sigh out, opening your eyes. You turn, looking over your right shoulder towards the Arbiter and speak, voice lower and more gravely. “This is the power I unlocked to stand toe-to-toe with Lord Beerus himself, this is my current peak.”
“Unbelievable....” Khor 'Vadam says, clearly shocked by how powerful you are. However, as you stand there, you feel another source of power. One just as strong as your are. You turn, seeing the Soulstone crater glowing, radiating with just as much power as you are.

“The hell?” you mutter, turning fully towards the crater and leaping into the air, floating down into the crater itself. You don't see any signs from where you'd shattered it all those years ago, when you'd first tapped into the crater's power to go Super Saiyan Three against Vegeta. But the second your boot touches the glowing crystal, your world becomes pain.

The second your boots touch the crystal you feel a shock run up from your heels up into your heart, your vision going dark and narrowing to a pinpoint. But then, the fire within rages, your emerald power surging in response. It feels as if your entire body is engulfed in flames, searing agony coursing through your veins. “GYAAAAAAAAAAH!!”
“KARN!” Freeza shouts, dashing down over to you and trying to grab onto you, only for him to be blown away. “Kyaaah!”

You feel like you're dying. Even with all the years of practice in dealing with pain under your daughter's magic, as well as everything you've been through in your life, nothing has come close to the agony you feel right now. Again your vision fades away, but through sheer strength of will remain conscious. But you're trapped, the entire crater radiating with blinding emerald light. Your entire body feels as if New Salda's molten blood is coursing through your veins, the blast you'd taken here hitting you over and over continuously. But, not only that; it also feels as if the stone is once more trying to siphon your energy away from you, to rob you of the very energy keeping your heart beating.

What do you do?
>Tap into the Soulstone's power, channel it through you and back into the stone beneath you, instead of letting it run rampant throughout your body
>Try and power down, to revert back to your original form and stop this loop of increasingly dangerous power trying to rip you to shreds
>You just have to break the crystal again, draw your fist back and bring it down with everything you've got before it's too late
>Telepathically tell Freeza to shatter the crystal, to strike it as hard as he can if he wants to save you
>You need to burn out some of the stone's excess power, draw it into you and fire it from your hands raised into the air, aimed away from anything living within your ki sense range

I'm concerned that we may have accidentally stepped into a soul binding ritual of our own making, but that's besides the point.
The current of energy flowing through us from the Soulstone and the energy vacuum inside the crater's crystal is probably tearing us apart. If we channel that energy back into the crystal, it should subside, right?

“GYAAAAAAAAH!” you cry out as the stone's power courses uncontrollably throughout your body, searing your soul. But then, inspiration strikes! Focusing, you start to channel your overwhelming power INTO the stone in your boot, trying to push the surging strength and energy tearing you apart back into the stone. But as you make mental connection to the stone, you feel it is also pouring the destructive energy into you. Realizing that you can't channel it fast enough through the stone, as the energy pouring into you from it is nothing compared to the energy surging into you up through your feet, you realize there's only one thing to do.

Gritting your teeth, you force your right hand to unclench, emerald bolts of lightning crackling between your fingers as you do so. Then, with everything you've got drop down to your right knee, slapping your open palm down onto the crystal. Immediately, that energy tries also surging up into you through your palm as well, but you were ready. Focusing everything you've got, you send that surging, rampaging power throughout your body down through your hand and back into the crystal. It tries resisting taking your energy into it, but your will is stronger, forcing the rampaging energy out of your body and down into the crystal. Which, as you start trying to channel the power surging throughout your frame down into it, begin to realize something: the Soulstone is MASSIVELY overcharged!

“What?!” you seethe through clenched teeth, wondering what in the world happened to it. How in the hell did this crystal get so much energy into it? But then it hits you: you've still been channeling your energy into it every night. It had become habit at this point, something you've done ever since the war ended and started training to battle the God of Destruction Lord Beerus. Yet, even when that fight was over, you'd kept channeling your ki into it every single night. And, now, that energy is overflowing, ready to explode. If you don't do something, that power is going to explode.

“Karn, what's happening?” Freeza shouts, calling down to you while not getting close again. “What's going on?”
“The Soulstone is overcharged, and trying to find an out.” you think to him, placing your other hand onto the stone as well, pouring even more of the energy rising up into you back into it. As if trying to stop a breaking dam from everything pouring free, that energy still surging from it up into you. Focusing, you realize that you're going to have to separate yourself from it, to get clear before any more can surge into you. Drawing a surge of that power up into you through your hands, as well as your legs, for a split-second your body feels as if it is going to explode from within. But then you pour it all back down into the stone, kicking off the ground with all the power in your legs. “HAAAAAAA!!”

And, the moment your body disconnects from the crater, it immediately changes.

That overwhelming light fades instantly, reverting back to a radiating glow instead. For several seconds the Soulstone keeps pouring a bit of power into you, which you stop after a few more seconds. Then you power back down, dropping to your base form and falling a few instants as your vision tunnels.

“I have you.” Freeza says softly, catching you under your back and legs and drifting back down towards the ground. You hear his feet touch, forcing yourself to remain conscious as Khor 'Vadam runs over. Sensing his approach you telepathically reach out to Freeza, telling him to let you stand. You sense his doubt but he helps you upright, you taking a deep breath in and wheezing out, throat raw from all the screaming you'd no doubt done. “Easy Karn, easy.”
“General Karn, what happened?” he asks you. “What was that?”

“It was my mistake. I overcharged it.” you tell him, dropping down onto your right knee and trying to catch your breath, reaching into your left boot. Then, to his surprise draw out your Soulstone shard, holding it up where he can see it.
“Overcharged...Hold on. Isn't that a piece of the crater?” he asks you, eyes wide. He seems shocked by it, as if there being a separate piece makes no sense. Which leaves you with one question:

How much do you tell him? Do you trust him enough to tell him the whole story?
>Tell him the entire story with the Bloodstone and that blast aloud, trust him with the truth
>Telepathically tell him the whole story. Just because you trust him, doesn't mean you trust his entire race
>Give him a short version, not mentioning the Bloodstone or the true nature of the Soulstone itself but just how it works and that the power is overcharged and could be dangerous
>Only tell him to be wary of the crystal and to keep his people safe from it, that anyone touching it directly will probably be overwhelmed by that power rampaging through it and could even possibly explode

You consider how much to tell him, how much to inform him on. But, you've gotten a good measure of the man Khor 'Vadam is. And know that, should you tell him this in confidence, he won't spread it. However, that doesn't also mean that you trust EVERYONE here, as they already proved earlier, not all the Sangheili are as ready to put the war behind you all as you and he are.

“This is...Kind of a long story. So, I'll be telling this all to you telepathically, so we're not here all day.” you think to the Arbiter, who nods solemnly once before saying he understood aloud. “Good. It all started back several years ago, when we did a favor for a being known as the Shapeshifting Master of Darkness Aku...”

You lay out how you'd gotten the Bloodstone from Aku and what it did, how it allowed you to store your energy into it for later. As you tell him this, Khor's eyes go wider than you'd ever seen, his shock plainly visible. Then how you'd used it during the war to keep going, to keep fighting on during the siege despite using enough power for a dozen Super Saiyans.

“So that was how...” he mutters, understanding washing over him as you continue onto the war reaching Sanghelios, and the bomb planted inside the second Arbiter's chest. And how, when it went off, you had the Bloodstone inside your left vambrace, pointing to the spot where you used to store it. You then explain how the blast somehow interacted with both your own energy and the energy of the crystal, transforming it into the Soulstone. But the energy was too great to be contained, the gem being blasted into your arm and expanding into the rocks, forming the massive Soulstone Crater that now exists. You gloss over the details on how close the stone itself came to killing you, only explaining it in broad strokes before focusing back on the crystal.

“When I woke up, finally healed from the battle, this was the crystal he pulled from my arm. He has the rest of the Soulstone back home, the filtered shards kept in a container he had filled.” you think, then in a moment of worry wonder what happened to it when all this happened. But you can check up on it later, for now you have to finish up here. You explain what Aku'd told you of it being a Soulstone, how it still could store power but was now connected to you. And at this he suddenly speaks up, a note of disbelief in his tone.

“You...Do you think that, when you transformed. It also transformed the crystal?” he asks, you feeling your own eyes going a bit wide at this. You'd never even considered the possibility, yet....

“One way to find out.” you reply, and while still kneeling tuck the crystal back into its spot before ascending into your base Berserker form. Once more the crystal crater starts glowing as well, emerald light radiating from it like steam on boiling water. You hear several of the gathered Sangheili, who are all keeping a respectful distance, even those who have somehow still kept their invisibility going. You power back down after a few seconds, the glow quickly fading away as well.

“It would seem that it does indeed.” Khor 'Vadam replies, turning from the crater back to you.
“Huh. I'd never even considered that. I knew that when I transformed my energy was significantly magnified, but I hadn't considered it does the same thing with the Soulstone.” you say, then again reach out telepathically. “I don't think I need to warn you how dangerous the Soulstone Crater is.”
“Yes, I shall keep you safe.” he says, not getting it. You shake your head, eyes meeting his as you try and convey what you learned.

“That energy was so overwhelming, I nearly died.” you tell him telepathically, sending a few of the sensations you'd felt through the link. He flinches back away, hissing in pain a moment from just feeling the thought of the agony you just endured. “Were someone to try to take that power for their own, they probably won't survive it. Our people are allies now, I don't wish to take any more of their lives. Especially when it is preventable.”
“You truly are worthy of the crimson dragon, General Karn. Dragon of New Salda.” he says, you remembering the Covenant, especially the last Arbiter you'd killed making a big deal about Divine Dragon Force back then. And, on a whim, decide to try and summon your Stand. And, well, it IS successful, Divine Dragon Force returning, appearing coiled around your right arm and releasing a deep roar of challenge to the sky. “Th-The Crimson Dragon of legends....” he says, awed by Divine Dragon Force. But, immediately you realize that something's wrong. While your Stand looks mostly the same, the emerald fire burning in its eyes is certainly a new addition. But DDF ignores him, turning and looking fully towards you.
“I have returned. Yet, something feels...Strange.” your Stand says to you, eyes blazing with emerald fire seemingly identical to the Berserker Soul itself. “I do not feel entirely myself. I am me, but also... More.”

“More?” you ask, suddenly even more curious than before. “What do you mean?”
“I feel a power within me that feels... Unfamiliar. Not like anything I have had ever wielded before.” it replies, you understanding the meaning immediately. If it has never felt a power like this, then it means that it has something new that even the Supreme Kai of Time might not know about. Something that might swing the odds even more in your favor.
“Oh great crimson dragon. Please, hear my plea.” Khor 'Vadam says, kneeling before Divine Dragon Force. “Please, bring back to life those killed in the Battle of Sanghelios!”

“What?” you say, looking from your Stand to him. Divine Dragon Force doesn't look at you, his fiery emerald gaze focused on the Arbiter.
“Hmmmm.” your Stand says, then lunges forward, wrapping itself around the gold-armored Sangheili. He doesn't move, allowing your Stand to do whatever it wishes. Then, he unwinds away from the Arbiter, returning to being coiled around your arm. “I am sorry. But, even with your entire life force, I cannot grant that wish. It has been too long, their souls too-long departed.”

“I understand.” he says, hanging his head in defeat. But, before he can continue is interrupted.
“However, I can revive many of them.” Divine Dragon Force continues, the Arbiter looking back up with hope in his eyes. “I cannot let myself fade away, to leave Karn defenseless from the threats he faces. So, I will need your power. However much you give me will determine how many of your kin I can revive.”
“All of it. Take everything I am, to revive as many of my-!” he starts, Freeza interrupting him.

“Now, hold on, Khor 'Vadam.” Freeza says, stepping in. “I do not think that throwing your life away is the correct option here.”
“With all due respect, I disagree.” the Arbiter says, eyes resolute. “If my life can be given to restore even one of my kin who were killed in the war, then it is a sacrifice I am willing to make!”
“Then who shall lead your people?” Freeza retorts, brows furrowed as he glares at the Sangheili. “Someone who will reignite the war between us, ending with your entire race being exterminated? You are a leader, not a martyr, and must act like it. Do not let your emotions get in the way of making the best decision for your people.

“Should I give him his wish, Karn?” Divine Dragon Force asks you, turning to meet your gaze. His blazing eyes, alight with emerald fire are piercing, feeling as if he's judging your soul for how you handle this. “What shall we do?”

Well?
>Accept the Arbiter's full request, his life is his own and his to surrender however he chooses
>Tell the Arbiter that you cannot allow him to die, but you will allow Divine Dragon Force to resurrect as many as he can without killing him
>Accept the Arbiter's request, but instead of allowing him to perish take on your Berserker God power and channel the Soulstone's overwhelming power through your Stand. Perhaps this will fix both issues?

This is having some SPICY potential applications and implications. Karn as a soulstone conduit could be a wishing battery. Should shit hit the fan and we lose someone important, we could collaborate with DDF and pop them back into existence. Or MAYBE we can power up and wish for weapons or food. With enough power we could probably snatch up hard to reach maguffins. Or we could turn someone into a baby for shits and giggles.

“Divine Dragon Force. Can we use some of the Soulstone Crystal's power to augment his own?” you ask your Stand telepathically. “Can we use it to revive more of them?”
“Hrmmmm.” your Stand says, you passing it the Soulstone. It takes the crystal in its right hand, staring down at it a moment before answering. “Yes. This could work.”
“Very well. I accept.” you say aloud, stopping Freeza and Khor 'Vadam's argument. You have to give the man credit, his heart is in the right place. You might do the same, were you in his position. “Step forward, Khor 'Vadam.”
“Yes.” he replies, stepping almost toe-to-toe with you. “I will give everything I've got.”

“Then do not move.” Divine Dragon Force responds, you clenching your fists and with a roar ascend once more. Your body explodes outwards, growing significantly more massive as you take on your Berserker God power. And, as you do, you also feel the energy within the Soulstone surge, the planet rumbling beneath your feet. “State your wish, Khor 'Vadam.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLDtlBlSLxA

“I wish for as many of my people killed here during the Great War to be revived!” he states boldly, Divine Dragon Force nodding then surging forward, wrapping itself around him. He makes a wheezing sound as Divine Dragon Force constricts him, squeezing a bit of air out of him.
“Very well. I shall revive as many as I can, without killing you or putting myself dormant once more.” the Stand replies, then right as Khor 'Vadam tries to interject, Divine Dragon Force lunges, sinking its fangs into the Sangheili's right shoulder. The Arbiter's eyes widen in surprise for a moment before his eyes roll up into the back of his head, going limp in Divine Dragon Force's grip. Your Stand then gently releases him, laying the Sangheili down on the ground as the flames from its eyes burn brighter and brighter, raising its head towards the sky.

“GRRRRROOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!” Divine Dragon Force bellows to the heavens, the fire from its eyes exploding forth. The flames expand, almost immediately consuming you and Freeza both, everything going blinding green. The roar of the flames drowns out all other noises, every other sensation is burned away by the brilliant blaze. Yet, as everything is consumed by those fires, you begin to feel it. Your ki sense, uninhibited by the blaze of Divine Dragon Force's powers, suddenly starts to pick up new ki signatures. At first it is only one or two at a time, then three, four, six, a dozen, then more as hundreds, thousands, more Sangheili are suddenly revived. Each second more and more of their powers appear, within a minute millions upon millions of Sangheili have been revived. Then, the fires begin fading, the blinding light receding down to just in the Stand's eyes, Divine Dragon Force sighing out. “Your wish has been granted.”

You turn your attention and ki sense from all the newly-revived Sangheili to the Soulstone, the crater's previously-surging power now greatly subdued. It still has quite the store of power inside it, but no longer the overwhelming surge it was before. With a sigh you power back down as well, Divine Dragon Force looking over the unconscious Sangheili.

“A noble wish, for a noble soul.” it says, before fading itself away. The instant it vanishes, however, your Stand thinks to you. “I will be here, should you require my assistance.”
“Thanks.” you say aloud, your Stand's presence in your mind vanishing as Freeza steps back over.
“While ill-advised, I suppose that he could choose...Hold on. He's still alive.” Freeza says, looking from the unconscious Sangheili with the bleeding shoulder to you. “How is he still alive?”
“We used the Soulstone.” you say, opening your right fist where DDF had placed the stone, showing it to him before tucking it back into your boot. “I think we're done here, let's go home.”
“Very well. Until next time, Khor 'Vadam.” Freeza addresses the unconscious Arbiter, you raising yoru right hand to your forehead.

It takes you a few seconds to hunt down the particular powerlevel you're searching for, as he's one of the weaker powerlevels on your home planet. It takes you longer than expected to find Dr. White's ki, but once you do you teleport directly to him. One second you and Freeza are on Sanghelios, the next back on your own planet, standing beside the doctor. And his patient, a woman who you don't recognize is in terrible shape. Their face is a mangled mess, covered in blood and bubbles forming around where their nose is supposed to be.

“Karn, not now.” he says, but you don't hesitate. Immediately you place your hand on the warrior's chest, their powerlevel having faded so far you couldn't even sense them when looking for Dr. White. And immediately start channeling your own ki into the person, their powerlevel surging up. Quickly surpassing Dr. White's own energy, you then stop pouring so much in, that strength immediately starting to fade again. “Open the Healing Pod, and stand by.”

“Right.” you say, rushing over and pulling the external lever, the pod door sliding up and open. A moment later the woman's floating body enters the pod, you seeing Freeza then lower his hands as Dr. White starts hooking her in, placing the pads in the proper spots and a tube you're unfamiliar with, to her face. You watch as it sucks the blood off her face and presumably out of her throat and maybe lungs before removing it, putting the proper breathing mask on her. He then steps back, pulling the lever and activating the pod. The door on the pod seals with a hiss, the healing fluid rapidly filling and surrounding the woman. He doesn't stand and watch, instead going over to one of his displays and checking it, muttering to himself. As you stand there Freeza heads to the door, walking out. However, he stops, looking at the powerlevel just on the other side of the door.

“Lord Freeza.” an unfamiliar voice says, you hearing a young man's voice as his fist hits his chest in a salute. Then, as Freeza rushes away you see the man enter. He's taller than you'd have guessed from his voice, rushing in and looking wildly left and right for the woman, presumably. And seeing her in the healing pod he rushes over, placing his hands on the pod and looking to her. “Kaper...”

For a moment you consider speaking with the young man, to find out what happened, but you then remember what you'd come for, turning back to Dr. White. Who, still looking at the screen doesn't seem to have relaxed. So, you walk over to him, gently placing a hand on his back.

“Everything okay?” you ask, the doctor glancing over to the young man before returning his gaze to the screen, thinking to you so as to not be overheard.

“The damage to this one's head was severe, she might not make it.” he tells you, worry filling his mind. “Even if she does physically recover, the damage to her brain could have complications down the road. She may not remember what happened to her, or even have her entire memory wiped. She could possibly never recover, even with all the wonders of modern medicine at our disposal.”
“Damn. That's terrible.” you mutter, the good doctor turning to you fully.

“Now, what are you here for?” he asks, knowing you hadn't shown up just to help her. “You returned here instead of elsewhere, but you don't seem to be in any danger.”
“Do you still have that jar, filled with the crystal shards you dug out of me?” you ask him, Dr. White's brows narrowing a bit. “I was going to get Chilli to take a look at them, to see if he could do anything with them.”

“They should still be around here, check that utility closet over there.” he says, gesturing toward the smallest door in the room. As you turn to check, you hear his fingers going at it on his keyboard, no doubt taking notes about what had happened today with this particular patient. You, meanwhile go over to the door, sliding it open and peering inside. To your surprise, you see several jars among the shelves filled with boxes, labeled in a language that isn't common, one you can't read. But the jars catch your eye, each is filled with a variety of different substances. In one you see a growth of the pink explosive crystals, another a glowing device you can't place, and in yet another you see some dark liquid, yet feel as if something in that jar is looking at you. But then you find it, back on the highest shelf you can sense the residual power of the Soulstone. With a thought you grab it with your telekinesis, pulling the jar over to your outstretched hand, then back out of the small side room and shut the door behind you.

“Thanks a lot.” you tell him, the doctor nodding without looking away. You got what you came for.

But what now?
>Teleport straight to your son's side, explain your day in person and that you're wanting him to check it out
>Take the jar and put it in your room, you'll give it in person and explain what happened next time he's down your way, or you're up at his planet
>Save the jar for later, ask the young man what happened and how he knows the girl recovering there in the pod

Despite that, however, you look back over to the young man, staring at the girl inside the healing pod. You can feel his worry from where you're standing, understanding that situation from all the times you'd been on the other side, as well as that terrible day when Chaya nearly died in Dreadzone at Tanya's hands. And as he looks at the woman in the pod, he reminds you of your wife Meloka, his face just miserable. So, you decide to go over, placing a hand on his shoulder. The man jumps in surprise, turning to see you looking down at him.

“I-Ah, G-General Karn.” he says, eyes widening in surprise. “Wh-Wh-What are you doing here?”
“Me? I live here.” you tell him, looking to the young man with a small smile. “Tell me, how do you know her? You didn't do that to her, did you?”
“What? No, no I didn't.” he says, a hint of anger in his voice. “I would die for her.”
“I know how you feel.” you reply, patting him on the shoulder once. “So, mind telling me what happened? It looks like she took some serious damage from something trying to kill her.”

“I.. I'm not sure what all happened.” he says, suddenly looking nervous. “We were out in the city, enjoying a meal when suddenly she just... I don't know how to explain it, but her eyes lost focus and she started staring at nothing. Like she wasn't there anymore. The lights were on, but she didn't answer or acknowledge me. Or anyone really, she just stood up and started walking away.”
“Sounds like some manner of hypnotism, or a forced compulsion.” Darth Bane's specter says, appearing beside you on your right as your left is on the young man's right shoulder.
“I paid for the meal and ran after her, but she was fast. Faster than I've ever seen.” he says, you getting a bad feeling about where this is going. “I barely avoided losing her, when she ran to a house we'd never visited and ran inside. I heard fighting break out, then as I got closer a woman was thrown through the window, landing in front of me. She'd been cut across the chest pretty bad, bleeding hard when the entire wall was destroyed. And, m-my poor Kaper's face was smashed in like this.”

“Did you see who she attacked?” you ask, the man shaking his head.
“No, I didn't get a good look at her.. Before I could a man rushed out, taking that woman and flying off before I could get a good look at either of them. But he had really long, golden hair and his powerlevel was crazy strong.”
“Raditz.” you say, a pit forming in your stomach. A suspicion forms, you glaring at the Sith phantom a moment. Who doesn't say anything, watching you passively. As if your glare means nothing to him.
“Wait, isn't that the guy with your...?” he asks you, looking from you back to her, returning his hand to the healing pod. “Why? Why would you try and attack someone so powerful?”

“Feel free to stay here as long as she's here recovering.” you tell him, patting him one last time on the shoulder before turning to the door. “When she wakes up, you both are welcome to stay here as long as you need.”
“Th-Thank you for your kindness, General Karn!” he says, turning and giving you a proper Saiyan salute. You return the gesture, jar in your left as you then turn, walking from the room. Holding the jar in your left hand as the door shuts behind you you sigh, turning and walking to your room to store the jar. Knowing that taking it to Chilli to ask him won't be happening anytime soon. However, as you put the jar down on the highest shelf, suddenly Chaya appears beside you with Instant Transmission, fully transformed.

“That BITCH!” your daughter snarls, turning to the door. But, before she can make it more than a step, you reach out, snatching her by the shoulder and clamping down. She winces at this, turning to you with her fangs bared. “Let go. I have to find her!”
“Slow down Chaya. What are you talking about?” you ask her, curious why she's so upset.
“Someone just attacked Radi's new girl, Sedir.” she says, fuming. “He just told me about it, telepathically, and that he'd sensed her being taken here. Where is she? I'm gonna strangle her!”

Well, this is quite the unexpected turn of events.

If there isn't a giant statue of Karn holding up a baby Sangheili or some shit in the next few months, we're going to be having words with Khor.
Besides that, very curious to find out exactly what went down. If we're lucky, it's just another one of Bane's phantoms running rampant. If not...I don't know what it could be, but nothing good.
>>

>If there isn't a giant statue of Karn holding up a baby Sangheili or some shit in the next few months, we're going to be having words with Khor.
Give it a decade or two my man. We spent much longer butchering them than they've been re-alived.
>>
>>5796795
>local man kills half your race
>brings back most of them
>leaves
I wonder if they'll take it as an insult that their greatest foe thinks them so beneath him that he doesn't even care that they're alive and free to scheme and attack him.
>>
>>5796798
Ha. There will be mass confusion, for a time. Even moreso once they realize that a) the war is long over, b) there's a new Arbiter who gave most of his energy to revive them, and c) not only was it a Saiyan, but THE Saiyan wielding the Divine Crimson Dragon of legend that brought them back. The old religion may be dying out without the worms' influence, but that particular deity will surely be remembered.
>what exactly went down
Good luck. You're gonna need to crank out high 90s to get to the real truth of things. If you want to spend the time investigating this yourself, and not entrusting this to others. Karn is exceptionally good at a few things, but being a detective isn't one of them.
>>5796826
Something? Or someONE?
Sanghelios is going to be embroiled in chaos for a while, the people who were killed have been gone for around 8 years now. There's going to be an adjustment period for everyone.
>>5796837
To be fair, most of their race were killed by Freeza in his rampage after Karn was nearly killed by that 2nd Arbiter. The fact he had Freeza there when it happened was more threatening to them than Karn himself, those few who survived the battle on the planet.
>>
>DDF can now grant wishes for other people and use outside sources of energy to power said wishes
i'd say that alone is a pretty damn good upgrade just by itself but it can probably do much more now.
>>
>>5796847
>the people who were killed have been gone for around 8 years now.
Oh shit, the time limit Shenron had and Porunga has doesn't apply when we have enough juice, neat.
>>
>>5796793
Huh....not sure where THIS is coming from, and Raditz never seemed the type to keep side hoes, unless this is a recent development for him...
>>
>>5796865
It means we can test wishing now....AND WITH THE SOUL CRATER WE CAN DO SO MUCH BULLSHIT
>>
>>5796865
It could always do so, as long as you consented such as today.
>>5796873
It still applies, you can't make any wishes currently. But DDF is still here and can still use its other powers in the meantime.
>>5796921
>side hoes
No, this is the SAME poor girl that Chaya busted in on before that got slashed by the one in the healing pod. And now that's twice she's nearly died for just being with Raditz.
>>5796924
No, wishing is still down. But DDF isn't gone like it was every other time.
>>
>>5796930
>No, wishing is still down. But DDF isn't gone like it was every other time.
Which means Pinky is going to have a stroke trying to figure out if Karn can do the same bullshit again, because he can still kill her.
>No, this is the SAME poor girl that Chaya busted in on before that got slashed by the one in the healing pod. And now that's twice she's nearly died for just being with Raditz.
I'm aware, now whether her simp knows is a different question. Which brings into the other woman that she ran in on when Raditz flew off with her.
>>
>>5796933
To be fair, IC you have no idea your wish is down either.
No no no, you completely misunderstood me. The one Raditz flew off with is the very same woman that was with Raditz back when Chaya kicked his door down and discovered he really meant that he was done with her. This couple in the med bay have no connections to Raditz or Chaya.
>>
>>5796951
Well hmm, maybe Chaya’s hatred for the girl leaked out and through the force managed to brainwash this one to have her attack Raditz’s lover.
That said we need a detective on this case or take the lazy route and just make a wish to know exactly what happened and who did what.
>>
>>5797327
If we were going to delegate this to somebody, I'd want to ask Cold about it. I still want to run a preliminary investigation though, just to see how deep this thing might be running.
If we do end up getting somebody else to work the case after that, I'm sure they'd appreciate whatever info we could scrape together.
Regardless, this is our problem first and foremost. Time to use our intuition for something besides backflips.
>>
>>5797327
The only way you’re making a wish anytime soon is going to Namek. But as for detectives, who would you even ask to look into it? Chaya seems motivated enough to find the culprit, but is she good at finding the truth? Raven could be another, being the hardest person on New Salda to lie to and get away with.
>>5797379
He may or may not have an insight into certain persuasion techniques, just like the former Guardian and Bane.
>this is our problem first and foremost.
But is it though? Someone or something tried to kill Raditz’ girl through a proxy, not you or anyone in your family. Were they after the girl because of her actions? Trying to hurt Raditz through her? Or is this one of Bardock’s enemies attacking his family through proxies?
>>
>>5797635
>He may or may not have an insight into certain persuasion techniques, just like the former Guardian and Bane.
Not exactly what I was getting at. Bane's information network is second to none, so I was wondering if he didn't have any intelligence operatives he could spare.
>But is it though?
I suppose that's the first question we need to answer. If this is just an isolated incident, it might be something for Raditz to sort out.
If it's just the tip of the iceberg, I'd feel pretty obligated to get to the bottom of it personally.
>>
>>5797778
Cold, not Bane. I got my evil old men who swing around laser swords mixed up.
>>
>>5797778
>>5797844
I see, King Cold’s network is impressive. Although, while he does have a few spies on New Salda, they wouldn’t probably have noticed this event. Unless people suddenly becoming ‘possessed’ is a more widespread phenomenon than this one incident.
And while it may or may not be part of some conspiracy, would Raditz want you interfering in his life? Or would he prefer to handle this himself? After all, he may have an inkling who is behind it all.

Also, whoever the fuck keeps getting banned from pol in my area, fucking stop. I want to post from cell while at work you cunt

QM UPDATE

I’ve encountered a problem with upcoming intermissions/epilogues and can’t resolve it myself. Do you all want this current mystery spoiled OOC? Or would you rather keep it hidden and maybe find out IC down the road?
>>
>>5798090
>And while it may or may not be part of some conspiracy, would Raditz want you interfering in his life?
What he wants became irrelevant as soon as that woman got hypnotized into permanent, and probably fatal, head trauma.
We cannot let some outside force provoke violent confrontations between Saiyans like this. Not now, not ever.
>>5798134
I'm actually having a lot of fun theory crafting myself, so I'd rather not be spoiled about it so soon.

>>
>>5798134
eehh, i say spoil it, we got other stuff to do
>>
>>5798134
If it's an actual problem with the way the story is unfolding and could cause issues down the line then it's best to air it out.
>>
>>5798140
In his defense, her brains were scrambled before he punched her face in.
I get that.
>>5798152
Well it does just spoil what’s happening, and I won’t allow metagaming next week with this character subplot.
>>5798158
True, there are other events about to unfold. Meloka’s been training on Beerus’ planet for around 6 months now, and it’s almost time for a certain grandchild’s first birthday.
>>5798185
Not a problem, per se. But I think I’ll keep my promise from last week. After all, S1 of Invincible worked really well off the audience knowing what was really happening.
>>
>>5798140
>We cannot let some outside force provoke violent confrontations between Saiyans like this. Not now, not ever.
Entirely unrelated but I just remembered that one time a time patroller had to course correct a timeline where the saiyans weren't stupid by internally sabotaging their society and stoking the flames of conflict
>>
>>5798254
True, that has happened before in other times. But would SKoT risk sending in an operative here in your timeline, after you nearly killed her? Especially with so many beings in your timeline clearly able to detect outside interference? Just on New Salda alone there are Broly, King Vegeta, Karn, Chaya, Caulifla, and Freeza, all having the demon seal which detects beings from other timelines. There's a zero percent chance such an operative wouldn't get found out immediately, the detection radius on the demonic seals is too great for someone to suddenly appear in the city
>>
>>5798257
Woah woah woah, I know I implied it, but the Pink Meanie breaking her own rules and sending a single goon on a suicide mission is a bit farfetched to be a worthwhile theory. Its not like she's the only one that thought of destroying the Saiyans from the inside, right? Only problem is that I have no idea who has mind control powers and would do this. Babidi bit the dragon dust and there's no "M" calling card either. Darth Bane has been with either us or Chaya, and even though there's a nonzero chance he's involved, I don't think he'd be that blatant and his powers don't induce a trance-like state so much as it brings out the worst in a person, as far as I can remember. Finally, there's no green blood from Kaper's mauled face, so it rules out the shapeshitter Ozotto. Whoever it is, they are very new.
>>
>>5798263
All I laid out were prohibiting factors. But, I will say for the record that this is an entirely domestic problem, no outside influence contributed to how this played out in your timeline.
>Only problem is that I have no idea who has mind control powers and would do this.
>Whoever it is, they are very new.

I was thinking about the martial aspect of Saiyan Culture again.
Have Raven and The Guardian been teaching any lightsaber forms besides Su-Ma?
Has Bane managed to cultivate any other Sith acolytes strong enough to learn Juyo?
Has Saiyan Brawling gotten any more refined in the last few decades or was it just completely replaced by the styles of The Order?
Is Karn the only Saiyan to recognize just how effective grappling can be?
Have any of Karn and Meloka's students picked up the Energy Body technique?
>>
>>5800895
Only to those he deems able.

Oh the war got it very refined. Arms in a somewhat peek-a-boo boxing style especially, to avoid losing arms to sangheili energy swords.
No, several are far more advanced grapplers than Karn, albeit more self-taught. And generally were those weaker than the Sangheili who protected the power balls, incapacitating their sword arms so another could finish them off. The lower ranks are exceptionally good with pack tactics.
Several, maybe over a dozen. Goar has focused it

Good. Goooooood. I can't wait to see where they take the technique so we can subsequently steal from them.
That's just good gym culture in my opinion, having your students and peers acting as a "research and development" team.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 205 Intermission-

AGE 757, DREADZONE CHAMPION'S SUITE

“What is troubling you, my apprentice?” the spectral form of Darth Bane, last Lord of the Sith says as he appears behind you. Sitting alone in your training room, recording equipment off to focus better, you had been meditating in the silence to try and clear your mind from what happened this morning before going live to your fans to put on a show. The painful memories of Raditz's betrayal still fresh in your mind, the pain and anger you felt something the phantom is clearly picking up on, asking pointedly. “Is it still the boy?”
“No.” you answer, lying as easily as you breathe. But you have a feeling that he can see right through your denial, even though he's the one currently see-through. “I'm over him.”

“You know, should you choose to seek vengeance against her, the one who stole your love from you, there are ways. Ways that cannot be traced, nor the blame laid at your feet.” he continues, dangling his esoteric knowledge of the Dark Side before you. “Ways to use the Dark Side to get back at her, at them both. To make them both suffer, as you have suffered. Without either ever knowing it was your doing.”
“What do you mean?” you reply, totally not tempted or anything. No, you're only curious in what sorts of abilities the Sith Lord has been keeping from you. “That doesn't sound like any power I'm familiar with.”

“That is because, while you are an adept student in the ways of combat and more...Direct measures, the greater subtleties of the Force are not your strong suit.” he says, not trying to soften the blunt words. “However, should you put your mind to it, I do believe that you could become quite proficient in the art of Mind Domination.”
“Mind Domination? What's that?” you ask, feeling as if you have a general idea of the concept. But instead of answering the ancient being floats around before you, raising his hand then demands in a commanding voice.
KNEEL DOWN TO ME AND BEG FOR YOUR LIFE!” roars in your head, and before you know what you're doing feel your body start to move on its own! Realizing that you're rising up from your seated position to kneel, instead you fight the pull, resisting his efforts and force yourself to remain standing. “KNEEL!

“NO!” you bellow back, tapping into your divine Super Saiyan power as you resist his efforts to dominate you, your power exploding out as you go all-out. “LIKE HELL!”
“It would seem that the boy's betrayal hasn't broken your spirit. Good.” your teacher says, a moment later you hearing a knock outside the door.
“Chaya? Is everything alright in there?” your other teacher, the formerly undefeated Dreadzone Champion Soba calls out to you calls from outside the chamber.

You are Chaya, the former and current Dreadzone Champion, a Super Saiyan with the faith of uncounted fans elevating you to godhood, daughter of the two strongest Saiyans, each having reached a level even powerful gods like Lord Beerus the Destroyer have to respect, and disciple of both the formerly undefeated Yardratian Dreadzone Champion Soba, and the ancient Sith Lord Darth Bane. You had also planned on being a wife someday, but that plan was cut short when Raditz, the man you'd been an exclusive pair with for years suddenly dropped you for someone else.

“I'm fine, was just getting some image training in before starting the daily fan stream.” you call back, keeping your voice as even and level as you can. Not showing any of the anger or rage you've felt boiling just under the surface today in your voice. “This one might run a bit long, so whenever you're heading out just ping me, okay?”
“I was actually planning to head home for the evening, Elder Pybara wants to speak with me.” he replies, you nodding to yourself. “So, I shall see you tomorrow?”
“First thing, right after I warm up back home with Dad.” you reply, feeling his energy vanish a moment later. When he's gone you sigh out, then turn to the floating form of the ancient Sith. “So, this mind control thing. Once I'm done talking with my fans and doing the final workout of the night with them, mind walking me through the basics? I can think of a few uses for something like that.”

To which the ancient spirit simply nods, a hint of both approval and annoyance in his eyes before vanishing. You know he disapproves of your divine power, your strength being reliant on others' belief in you, but having seen how powerful divine energy can become, you're not going to just let something like that go. You EARNED this power, worked hard for years to cultivate and grow your fan base and aren't just going to let them go. With that agreed on you then turn to your setup, turning everything on and letting it boot up while you gather your weights, especially the weights you picked out especially to train your sword technique as you'd promised a sword wielding workout stream tonight. Then, once it is all ready you think back to what happened earlier again and letting the tears you felt this morning flow. You know that your fans will be immediately invested, after all they still have no idea what happened. So, taking a deep breath, you start the stream.

“H-Hey guys. S-Sorry I'm late.” you say, the stream starting only a single minute later than usual. “I-I don't know how to say this. But Radi, he....He hurt me really bad today. I don't know what to do.”

Immediately the chat explodes, keeping your sad expression on while smiling internally. He may have betrayed you, but they'll always be on your side no matter what.

You tell them what had happened, what you'd walked in on in Raditz's house this morning and the chat explodes, the messages flying by so fast on your scouter that you can't read any of them for several minutes while you talk. After you get their affirmations, their condemnations of his actions and telling you they'd never hurt you like that you get more down to business, training with the heavy bar stacked with dozens of tons on the end, activating the gravity chamber and going through the basic motions. Then, after the workout you spend a bit more time with them, answering several questions including one from a very forward fan, who asked, “So, you single now?” Which did honestly make you burst into laughter, ending the stream not long after on a high note. And then, once it's over you turn everything off, including the higher gravity before leaving, going over to the Sith Holocron you have stored in the fingerprint, eye scan, and password-protected safe in your room and taking it out.

“Alright, let's get started.” you say, sitting in your floor and taking your meditative pose, the ancient artifact in your lap. “I'm ready.”
“Very well. Clear your mind, my apprentice.” the true specter of Darth Bane replies, your mind diving into the holocron to study under the master.

-Several months later-

“Now, close your eyes, and focus.” Darth Bane instructs you, his spirit hovering over your right shoulder as you sit on the tree stump back home on New Salda, eyes closed and back straight as you focus. “You have the target confirmed?”
“Yes, master.” you reply, remembering the girl you'd run into the previous morning who was strong enough to get the job done. Remembering her name, you reach out to her telepathically.
“Hey! Kaper, wasn't it?” you think to her, establishing the mental link while also keeping it shrouded, hidden from any outside observers who might want to listen in. Anyone who tried to listen in wouldn't be able to hear your thoughts, nor the replies of whoever was answering you. A crucial part of the plan. “Are you busy at the moment?”

“Oh, Chaya! Hi, umm, sorry, I wasn't expecting you to reach out to me.” she replies, you sensing her nervousness through the mental link. Which makes you smile a moment, feeling how honored she feels to be talking to you. But that thought is one you push away, focused on your mission. “I'm in town sitting at the big restaurant by the king's palace, about to get something to eat with Sal-”
“Perfect. I need you to do something for me.” you reply, then start really turning the screws. You focus your full will on the timid girl, your anger, your rage, your pain, all of it you crash down on her unsuspecting mind like bringing a hammer down on glass.

She never knew what hit her, the woman subconsciously trying to resist a moment before her mind cracks. Feeling that weakness you show no mercy, bringing your full power crashing down and break her, dominating her mind completely. You now have complete control of her.

“Kaper? Hey, Kaper. You alright?” he asks, but you ignore him. You don't want to see his concern for her, she's nothing more than a tool right now. If you spend too long thinking about her, you might regret what you'd done. So, instead you just control her to stand up, turning and leaving the man without a word. But that doesn't stop him, the man hastily putting credits down on the table. So, you order her to take off at a run, directing her through the streets towards Raditz' house as you can sense him and her together. “What's gotten into you? KAPER!”

But you ignore the man, directing her to Raditz's new door, charging through it shoulder-first. It swings inward, revealing Radi and the woman sitting at a small table together, and feel your blood boil. With a thought you direct her to draw a ki blade in her right while firing a blast with the left, blinding Raditz more than hurting him and giving you a moment to strike. You'll have to get her in one blow, one solid strike.

“NOW! KILL HER!” you command, compelling her to lunge. Swinging, the energy blade of the woman you possessed cuts deep into that bitch who dared try and steal your man from you. Blood sprays from her right shoulder at the point of contact down and out by her left hip where the cut ends, you then directing her to grab the woman by the face, turning and pitching her out through the window onto the street. But as you do, you hear Raditz roar in anger, feeling his powerlevel spike dramatically. You turn your puppet towards him, the last thing she sees is his fist when suddenly it hits you both. Through the link you're blasted in the face as well, knocked clean off the stump you'd been sitting on and landing flat on your ass and tumbling over onto your chest, sliding to a stop. “Gyah?! Owww, that hurt!”

“Well done. That was quite impressive, my apprentice.” Darth Bane says, a rare, genuine smile on his face as you feel yourself sweating, the strain of your exertion on your body making itself apparent now. “Using your telepathy with Mind Domination was an inspired technique, even more so that you kept the Force Shrouding active for the entire duration as well. You've come quite far in your studies, Darth Vitalia.”
“Thank you, master.” you reply, a small, satisfied smile coming to your face. But the job's not over yet, in fact the hardest part is yet to come. But if you can pull this off...

Yeah this really isn't any kind of surprise to me at all. Chaya had the motivation, the resources, and the ability to get this kind of revenge going. If this was more random, had been a string, or perhaps focused on stronger saiyans like Raditz, Kakarot, or the rest of the higher tier Saiyans, I could believe it was foreign enemy action. But this happening and going straight for Raditz's new girl? Chaya can act all she wants shes really the most logical suspect here.

And now we HAVE to get involved because she really starting to drink the sith coolaid.

Im really tempted to throw Bane into the fucking sun now.
>>
>>5801554
>And now we HAVE to get involved because she really starting to drink the sith coolaid.
She can drink the Sith Koolaid all she wants. Where she fucked up was dragging one of her own into this and treating her like some disposable pawn. Not to mention how cowardly the whole thing was, not having the stones to deal with things like a Saiyan.
We didn't raise her like that, and it's high time we made that known.

Look kiddo, you gotta learn, Bane isn't a good influence. All them "Darth" types are absolute tools. This is going to hurt us a lot more than it's gonna hurt you. You can make your own choices, but you can't make choices for others. If you got beef you solve it yourself, and reap what you sow. Now you've killed someone (or thereabouts) who had nothing to do with it. This is, as the kids say, bitch-coded behavior. And we didn't raise no bitch.

All of our kids are so fucked up kek. Sometimes it ain't their fault, but clearly, sometimes it is. Though I wonder what would happen if someone tried to do such a technique on Karn. Or someone else with a pretty much incalculable level of willpower. Probably hurt yourself trying to dominate someone like that. Like pulling a muscle trying to lift something too heavy for you.
>>
>>5801568
>All of our kids are so fucked up kek
As much as I hate to say it, suffering builds character. Best we can do is give our kids the tools to survive and process all the bullshit in the Universe.
>Sometimes it ain't their fault, but clearly, sometimes it is.
Indeed. Chaya is yet young though, there's still time to set her straight.
>Though I wonder what would happen if someone tried to do such a technique on Karn.
Wouldn't work in the slightest on Karn. He's immune to all methods of mind control, brainwashing, mental domination, whatever you wanna call it.
>>
>>5801568
It's the downside of telling our kids to figure things out for themselves instead of giving them a solid answer. They'll find their own meaning through their own sources, even from those like Bane.
>>
I know Karn's Bane-shade has long accepted that Karn won't become a true sith despite being de-facto the most ideal sith the universe has seen for thousands of years, but I wonder if Chaya's Bane-shade is absolutely SEETHING over the fact that Karn is -right there- and other than not having the pure selfish drive of Chaya, is emotionally better suited for what Bane's idea of a great sith is.

>>5801584
I didn't mean what would happen to Karn so much as what would happen to the person trying. Even without the mind-control booster shot spell he got from Towa, Karn has the biggest dick energy of just about everyone he knows. I think only King Cold is his match in actual guts. Not counting stuff like unbridled egos, fanaticism, or madness-boosted self-belief. Cold is, pun intended, an ice-cold motherfucker.

No, like, Sith Powers and shit. But you're right Chaya would be cowardly enough to strike someone far weaker than her for something that she could square straight with Raditz AND using an innocent for that cowardly plan
Bitchmade on all fronts. Shameful display
>>
Honestly I was wondering which of the kids would inherit Meloka's Yanderes tendencies, so looks like we got atleast one in Chaya, but honestly kinda echoing alot of the thread in how bitchmade that move was.

More so that Raditz was legit thinking he was going to die when we landed in front of him but was still able and willing to explain his side of the story and what happened.

Is he at fault for fucking another woman before breaking it off with Chaya offically? 100%

Is Chaya the one who started it all by completely focusing on her own goals over the desires of her own significant other? Also yes.

I dunno if they ever can get back together, espessially after this bullshit Chaya pulled, but if they can it really has to come from both of them admitting their own respective faults. Sadly considering the Yan being displayed now I don't think Chayas ever going to consider that she was even partially at fault here.

Hey my mistake, this quest runs while I work so I have to speed read sometimes, still that just makes this entire situation worse. Now lets see if Chaya is mature enough to do the hardest possible thing a woman can do. Admit when they were wrong.
>>

>Now lets see if Chaya is mature enough to do the hardest possible thing a woman can do. Admit when they were wrong.
I can see the hypothetical Chaya Quest version of that now
>Alright, swallowing your pride and admitting you were wrong wins it. Roll me a single d100.
>DC 1000000000000000000000

I legit don't see Chaya coming out of this cleanly at all. hell, the fucking stream chat would pinpoit the sudden death of Raditz's girlfriend after Chaya told them "he hurt her" and do 2+2, even fucking more if the controlled girl turns out braindead by mysterious reasons.

A woman scorned will cook up ANYTHING to hurt you
>>
>>5801610
>bitch way
But if she attacked Raditz's new lover, especially in front of him AGAIN, would he ever take her back?
>>5801611
What consequences? You don't know anything about this.
>>5801615
But confronting them directly didn't work last time. She needs to eliminate the woman, then be there for him and act understanding in his grief.
>>5801625
Because not only is he a soldier, but he's a MAN. He takes full accountability for his actions, and is always ready when the consequences come knocking.
We'll have to wait and see how they handle their shit. And if Chaya's plan worked, or had...Unintended consequences.
>>5801631
Right? That was pre-Siege of New Salda.
>>5801632
I'll give you a hint, her plan's next stage involves Chilli.
Good. That was the hardest part for me with this intermission. Since I chose this path, to spoil the secret and we have a more Invincible-theme mini arc where the audience knows what happened but the characters do not, this genie can't be put back in the bottle.
We'll see.
Ha.
Not quite 'consequences don't matter' and more 'compensation for services rendered'. She still has some measure of honor, and obligation. Especially to a fellow Saiyan.
Meloka would completely understand Chaya's side. Might even support her decision, and would have done something similar, had you strayed.
>>5801634
>>5801635
>>5801640
Yes, he had. She just didn't believe him.
>Every plan is fool-proof until a fool does something completely unpredictable.
HA! That's a great line.
>>5801642
We all make mistakes, see you admitted it. But does Chaya even BELIEVE that she did anything wrong?
>>5801649
Ha!
>>5801659
Remember, that was on the day it happened, the day she found him with someone else. Whereas this was months down the road.

Well it's true and unfortunately the only way to gain that happiness again is to get back at them just as hard and show you won't just take it, else it always hangs over one's head as a precedent.

Actually I take back my earlier objection GD. This follows Karns principles of "The Strong do whatever they want and the weak have to fall in line." If anyone wants to object to her bitch move, they just got to be strong enough to back it up.

Pretty or not, it still lead to Karn's relationship with Towa. It's a good thing Towa can hold her own and is a genius in her own right.
>The best way to go forward is living like she never mattered to you.
If one can take that route and be at peace then it is good to do so. But in my experience old flames that refuse to move on can be the biggest curse to a man, and will harass until it affects all portions of one's life. That is not to mention others will see this as an invitation to treat the person just as badly, unfortunately.
>>
>>5801680
I knew a girl once. Never again. But to be more serious, the true absolute best way to spite a girl is to be happy. If she wants to fuck with you, and you're just living a good life without her, she'll be fucking fuming about it. Then if you get a new girl and y'all look happy together, she'll be even angrier and more bitter. Sometimes even pull the "Hey, I know we had our differences but..." bullshit. It's honestly a little funny.

You move on. Disconnect and live. Block numbers and emails. All that stuff. Women like that cannot stand the idea that they don't matter. That you aren't pining over them. Then they call your work and claim some bullshit. Or start some dumbass campaign online. You know how it goes. Fuck them hoes.
>>
>>5801783

The crazies want conflict. Denying them will lead to either abandoning you for someone else who gives them the madness they want or escalation to the point you get a restraining order.

HA! Very true, it is quite fun to watch the cope and seethe.
>>
NGL, i'm really not surprised by this development in the least, chaya is pretty much perfect sith material, especially the whole does whatever the hell she wants and damn the consequences streak she has literally always had. this isn't the first time she's fucked around doing asshole shit, and it won't be the last. hell one day i kind of expect her to flip her shit and force lightning someone to death, and karn will legit be pissed when that goes down.
>>
>>5801800
The fact it takes no extra effort is icing on the cake.

>>5801801
The greatest of the sith all had one thing in common though. Self-control. As bizarre as that sounds. Chaya STILL has a ways to go in that regard. Still tempestuous at heart. Probably always will be, now. Thanks to the dark side kool-aid.
>>
>>5801801
She's a willful one, that much is undeniable. It is entirely possible, or she may do worse. After all, death can often be considered a mercy.
>>5801813
The best revenge is a life well lived.
Yes. The greats were masters of the self, pinnacles of self-control. But Chaya has much greater control over her emotions than she used to have. Now, instead of letting them control her actions, she uses them to fuel her actions. A very important distinction.
>>
>>5801594
>I know Karn's Bane-shade has long accepted that Karn won't become a true sith despite being de-facto the most ideal sith the universe has seen for thousands of years, but I wonder if Chaya's Bane-shade is absolutely SEETHING over the fact that Karn is -right there- and other than not having the pure selfish drive of Chaya, is emotionally better suited for what Bane's idea of a great sith is.
I'm gonna post on this way after the fact, but the thing i find generally hilarious is Karn probably would be a god tier sith, and the reason he's not has literally nothing to do with his kindness or whatever the shit, karn it ruthless and has torched whole species and planets alive. The reason he's not doing sith stuff is quite simply the Sith are too weak for karns needs. He sympathizes with pretty much all sith ideology, but the stuff the sith can do aren't suited for fighting conceptual bullshit like the SKoT, and the very advantages the sith are working towards is still less useful for what he needs compared to the other tools he has.
>>
>>5801726
Here's a question.

What was chayas thought process during our talk with her ? Was she hyped that her plan was working well?
>>
>>5801800
Another question.

Down the line, would it be possible to introduce Meloka to DDF? Maybe wrap her up in it or something so that she can see it? I think it would be neat to see them interact.
>>
24 hours to go. I hope you’re ready.

>>5801863
True, he doesn’t think any of the sith techniques would help his current goals.
>>5802175
You’ll have to probably wait and see. I have no shortage of epilogues/intermissions to go through.
>>5802196
Without a Stand of her own, or being pierced by DDF directly, she cannot perceive it.
>>
>>5801726
You didn't see what all went down between the two of them. Let's just say that it wasn't pretty.

so what did go down GD i want the details. also on another note i kinda find it funny that karn has no idea how yandere meloka is. the only hint he's had is that she is overprotective and that she sacred away Blackfire.

I have a feeling that meloka would make a poor Sith in banes eyes because she is almost complete driven by her emotions and her obsession love of Karn
>>
>>5802290
The deadly vision sith technique is pretty cool in that it disintegrates people just by looking at them.

I doubt Karn will ever go dark side enough to use it, but it's one of the few that I think would supplement his normal techniques. Just like a constant Damage over time effect to anyone fighting him, as they slowly/quickly turn to dust.
>>
>>5802352
>so what did go down GD i want the details
No. Let’s just say Invincible vs Omniman left less of a mess all over that city and leave it at that. She was a LOT stronger than she was against Komand’r, and even had techniques back then the demoness didn’t know of.
Yes, she can be quite irrational when it comes to Karn and their kids. Or even his other kids that aren’t hers, as she can’t hate anything that’s part him. Part of what helped get to the truce between Towa and Meloka, actually.
>>5802418
There are plenty of interesting powers/techniques unique to the Sith. Including the “darkspear”, those who know, know.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn battled Khor 'Vadam, the last Arbiter before showing him and the Sangheili his true power, the strength used to battle Lord Beerus before examining the Soulstone Crater. Only to discover the crater's power was well beyond capacity, surging up into and nearly destroying the god-battling Saiyan from within. Afterwards his Stand Divine Dragon Force returned, granting Khor 'Vadam's wish of returning as many of the Sangheili back to life as possible, nearly consuming the warrior's life force as well as a large portion of the energy stored within the stone. However, upon returning home Karn discovered that all was not well, a young woman on death's door in Dr. White's medical bay. After assisting, Karn learned from the young man with her that she'd suddenly seemed to become possessed, attacking Raditz's woman before he nearly kills her. And as we rejoin Karn, Chaya has suddenly appeared from the other side of the planet beside you, ready to charge after the woman who'd attacked Raditz' 'new woman' as she put it.

“Someone just attacked Radi's new girl, Sedir.” she says, fuming. “He just told me about it, telepathically, and that he'd sensed her being taken here. Where is she? I'm gonna strangle her! If anyone's going to kill her, it's me!”
“Hold on. Right now, she's in one of the healing pods.” you say, her eyes going wide with shock. “The man with her, he brought her here to be taken care of. Said that it looked like something possessed her.”
“Possessed her? Like magic?” Chaya's brows furrow as she asks, you remembering back to a battle long ago when she was just a child, when Dr. Nefarious had somehow managed to brainwash you, forcing you to fight Vegeta and your other allies.

“Maybe. It might be magic, or it could be something else.” you reply uncertainly, your daughter calming down and powering back down to her base form, hand going to her chin as she starts trying to think it over. “Either way, this could be trouble.”
“We need to ask Raven.” Chaya says after a moment's silence, looking up to you. And then seeing the jar you'd set on the shelf. “Hey, isn't that the crystal Dr. White got out of you back during the war?”
“Yes. I was going to have Chilli look it over for me, before all this happened.” you reply, Chaya frowning again a moment. But then you see an idea come to her, eyes widening in seemingly sudden realization.
“Chilli! That's it!” she exclaims, reaching out towards the jar and using her telekinetic ability to pull it down and over to her hand. “I'll go tell him, and see if he can come over. If he can use that Chaos magic of his to undo her to before Radi crushed her, maybe she'll remember what happened!”

And before you can say anything she raises her right to her forehead, teleporting away.

>>
>>5803107
Which, as you stand there, is a surprisingly good idea. You know that, with Chilli's power, he could undo the damage Raditz had done and revert her to whatever shape she was in before, remembering what happened. Perhaps, even better, still connected to who or whatever had taken control of her? It's a good thought, you hoping that your son can help the poor girl.

But what now?
>Telepathically reach out to Raven, see if she noticed anything. If someone possessed someone else, surely she'd have sensed SOMETHING
>Reach out to Bane's shade, see if he has any knowledge about mind controlling techniques and what weaknesses they have

This seems more like a King Vegeta situation. I mean, if someone's mindcontrolling saiyans, he should know about it. Then again, this is an isolated case, so I think we should stay local. If theres more than one incident or it happens to someone important then we call in the big guns
>>
Ah that’s her play. Chaos magic reverts you to a previous state, so not only should it hypothetically heal the girl, it would also completely remove any traces of who did it, because that action never happened.

Clever clever girl. If only you used those brains to be a good wife.

But as you ponder over what you know, a sentence Chaya'd said sticks in your mind. Right before the jar had distracted her.
“We need to ask Raven.” she'd said, you agreeing with the thought. So, with a thought you reach out to the planet's Guardian, your mind connecting to hers.
“Raven, we need to talk.” you think to her, no doubt sensing your worry. “We have a problem.”
“What happened?” she asks, immediately worry bleeding through the telepathic link. “Karn, what's going on?”
“We just had an incident with Raditz.” you reply, telling her what the young man, Sallot had told you. As you finish filling her in a portal opens beside you, the Guardian stepping through. Her expression is serious, brows furrowed and a smouldering anger in her eyes.

“Show me.” she says, you nodding and leaving your room. Quickly you lead Raven back to the Medical Bay, automatic door sliding open as she rushes in. The young man, hearing the door open turns, then immediately backs away as Raven's demonic aura is flaring up around herself. She marches right over to the woman, peering at her through the pane. “Dr. White. Is she stable?”
“She's fragile, don't deliver any serious shocks to her or we might lose her.” he replies tiredly, Raven nodding to him once before raising both hands towards the woman in the pod.
“Uhh, wh-what are you doing?” Sallot asks, the young man clearly worried but also defensive. “You're not going to hurt her, are you?”
“Of course not. I'm going to try entering her mind, to see what she saw and feel what she felt.” Raven replies, placing her hands on the glass. Then, a pitch-black wave washes out from her eyes, going straight through the healing pod and the fluid, directly into the nearly-dead woman's shut eyes. Her body then slumps, you reacting and catching her, easing the Guardian down into one of the waiting chairs that had been installed by the healing pods.

“What happened? Is-Is she okay?” the young man asks worriedly, not knowing what happened.
“Don't worry, she's fine.” you say, projecting a bit more confidence than you feel. Then, once you have her situated turn back, seeing her dark aura enveloping the young woman while in the pod. Glancing over to the good doctor, you see him studying his monitor intently. Turning back, you see Raven's aura start to fade, gathering around her eyes then flowing back out, the shape of a dark bird flapping its wings and striking her sitting figure. Raven's dark aura flares for a second around her body before fading, her eyes opening. “Raven?”

Her eyes then roll up into the back of her head, slumping forward. You lunge forward, again catching her and keeping her from falling to the ground.

“Raven? Raven!” you say, wondering what's wrong with her. “Raven!”
“I-I'm okay.” she mutters, one eye cracking open and looking up to you. “Please, stop shouting.”
“Sorry.” you reply, immediately toning your voice down. “What happened?”
“Something sinister.” Raven replies, you feeling a tremble run throughout her body. “A dark presence invaded and attacked her mind, crushing and subjugating her to its will. Whatever it was, it was attacking with a purpose.”

“What kind of monster would want to hurt Kaper?” Sallot asks, Raven giving him a dark look.
“It could be several things. But one thing is certain: whoever did this was consumed by hate.” Raven says seriously. “I could feel the presence's anger, their hatred. Burning like a raging inferno. That all-consuming fury, it was...Terrifying. I have never felt raw hatred like than from anyone. Not from your son Broly, or even you, Karn.”

Which causes you to raise your brows in surprise. Whatever did this, it was a force of anger.

But what do you do now?
>Telepathically reach out to Chilli, see if he and Chaya are coming anytime soon
>Apologize to Raven for having her go through that and thank her for the information she dug up

“Sorry for that Raven.” you tell her, the Guardian giving you a small nod of appreciation as you help her back up to her feet. “But I appreciate your help.”
“Thank you Karn.” she replies, sounding exhausted. Then, once she's upright she takes a step, making sure she has her balance. “I'm fine, I'm fine. But I don't think I can help her.”
“What? What do you mean?” Sallot asks, sounding heartbroken. “Why not?”
“Her body may heal, but she's done. Her mind has been destroyed.”

“D-Destroyed?” the young man asks, looking devastated. “What do you mean?”
“Whoever, or whatever attacked her, it made sure that no one could follow it.” she replies. “As if her mind had been put into a blender. If she recovers physically, she more than likely won't have her memories. If she even remembers how to walk, or talk, or even eat on her own.”
“No....” Sallot says, dropping down to his knees. “No way.”
“Dammit.” you mutter, wishing you could do more. Then, remembering what else he'd told you, decide to reach out. To the one person involved who you haven't reached out to.

“Raditz. Can you hear me?” you think out, reaching out telepathically to your daughter's former friend. “I heard what happened, is she okay?”
“Redis is healing, she should make a full recovery.” he replies, his thoughts guarded. Yet you still feel his smoldering anger, his rage at what happened burning beneath the surface. And so, you decide to try and give him what little comfort you can, as well as try and get information from him.
“I have the woman here, but Raven confirmed that someone, or something was controlling her.” you tell him. “She was another's puppet, and not at fault herself. Do you have any idea who could be after you, or the girl with you? Who has powers like this, and would come after you through someone else?”

“General Karn. With all due respect, this is none of your business, sir.” he replies, a hard edge to his mind which catches you by surprise. “Leave the one responsible for this to me, I'll handle it. Just, make sure you guard the girl, she might be killed to cover my attacker's identity from you.”
“Wait, you sound like you know who did this.” you accuse, Raditz not answering. Clearly pondering over how much to tell you for several seconds before replying.
“Leave this to me. This is my fight.” he finally answers, then without waiting for your answer ends the mental link. He knows something, you're sure of it. But, before you can ponder on this anymore, you sense two ki appearing right behind you.

The young man gasps at seeing them just suddenly show up, stumbling back as Dr. White grumbles, you hearing him murmur under his breath a moment. But your firstborn son wastes no time, expression serious as he walks up to the healing pod.

“Is this her?” he asks Dr. White, who nods. Your son nods back, reaching inside his robe and drawing out a pair of porous, black stones. Each the size of his fist, and holds one in each hand. “I need everyone to stand back. This is going to take a few minutes.”
“What are you doing?” Dr. White asks him, expression serious. “What sort of magic do you plan to use?”
“Chaos magic.” Chilli replies, turning his head to face him. “I'm going to undo her time, to undo everything that happened to her. And, if we're lucky, maybe find out whoever was behind this.”
“Wait.” Raven says, Chilli turning around to face her. “When her body is healed, you cannot stop. Her mind was broken, shattered in an instant by the dark force that attacked her. If you don't undo that, then it's pointless.”
“But if we go back that far, we won't find out whoever did this!” Chaya interjects, Raven turning to her with a frown.

“Her mind has been destroyed, Chaya.” the Guardian says. “I felt what happened to her in her final moments, the last thing she felt before.... Whatever attacked her, it destroyed her mind completely. Nothing of who the woman was remains. All we can do is save her mind, to fix what was destroyed and allow her to continue her life as if this incident never occured.”
“But surely there's some way to find the bastard responsible!” Chaya shouts, almost pleadingly at her. “We can't let them get away with this!”

Well? What do you do?
>Take Chaya from the room to give Chilli space, ask her why she's so invested in this. It has been months since the two split, ask if she's still holding onto feelings for him
>Tell everyone to stand clear and let Chilli work, to stay quiet so he can concentrate on doing this correctly
>Ask your son if he knows anyone who is skilled enough with mind magics to try and figure out what happened to her before he undoes everything, he can use his Chaos magic later, right?
>Tell her you talked to Raditz, he seemingly knows whoever is responsible and told you to let him handle it. And that she should follow his advice too

“Hold on, she does have a point.” you say, trying to calm Chaya down and think through things. “Before you do this, you have plenty of magic users there on your planet. Are any of them skilled with mind magic?”
“Well, I suppose it couldn't hurt to ask.” he replies, closing his eyes and no doubt telepathically reaching out. After a couple seconds, you then see him raise his right hand to his forehead, teleporting away.
“Wh-Hey! Where'd he go?” Sallot asks, sounding confused as he looks around. “Isn't he going to help her?”

“Just wait, he's gone to get another opinion.” you answer, feeling good about this choice. You think that the giant skeleton mage probably knows something, the being radiating power and knowledge of forces beyond your comprehension. However, as five separate powerlevels appear, you wonder who he could have found. Then, as he and three other beings from that world appear, you suddenly aren't quite so sure about this decision.
“That's her.” Chilli says, gesturing towards the healing pod. The simply-dressed young man steps forward, hand on his chin as he looks her over.
“What is all this?” the blue-haired woman whose ki you can't sense asks, looking over the healing pod like a child seeing something new. “Is this some sort of special spa? Oooh, Kazuma, can I get in one too?

But Kazuma doesn't react to the so-called goddess's ramblings, thinking things over. Then, raising his right hand passes it down in front of his face, then again looking the woman over for another few seconds. He then sighs out, shaking his head and turning to Chilli.

“Sorry. But I can't do anything.” he replies, sounding defeated. “Whatever happened to her is beyond anything I've ever seen. Everything she went through, there's nothing for me to work with to rebuild.”
“Damn. Well, thanks for coming anyways.” Chilli replies, Aqua looking curiously over at the two men.
“What's the problem?” she asks, sounding as carefree and clueless as ever.
“Something attacked this poor girl's mind.” Kazuma replies, Megumin's friend Yunyun looking devastated and even the blonde woman in the armor looks angry, when the goddess snaps her fingers.

“I know. I'll fix her!” she declares, turning and pointing her staff with a flower bud on the end, in blooming as golden light forms several magical circles around her. “SACRED HIGHNESS HEAL!”

The golden light around the goddess explodes, everything vanishing in a flash of blinding light for several seconds. Then, after the light fades, the first thing you hear is Dr. White's astonished voice.

“Her-Her injuries. They're all completely healed.” he says as your eyes are transfixed on the pod, where the woman's eyes slowly open. Then, a couple moments later in the stunned silence you all hear her pull the release from inside the pod, the healing fluid rapidly draining away.
“Wh-What did you do?” Sallot asks, Aqua turning to him and beaming with pride.
“I fixed her. It is only natural that a goddess like myself can completely heal someone, memories and all.”
“WHAT?!” Chilli and Chaya both exclaim in surprise, a second later the pod's door opening. And out steps the woman, her body completely healed. She looks around the room, seeing so many faces she doesn't recognize that she's overwhelmed. But then she sees you, eyes widening like dinner plates.

“G-General Karn?! Wh-Wh-Wh-How do you do?” she asks, clearly nervous. She's slightly shaking, looking like a frightened animal at everyone staring at her.

Well? What do you do now?

“KAPER!” the young man shouts, rushing over to the woman.
“Sallot? Wh-?” is all she gets out before he closes in and wraps his arms around her, picking the startled woman up and spinning around in circles. She still seems disoriented, plus the couple probably need a few moments. So, instead of pressing your quesitnos you turn your focus on Kazuma and Aqua.
“Appreciate your help, thank you.” you tell the goddess, who flicks some of her blue hair over her shoulder before standing proudly, fists on her hips at the compliment. “You too Kazuma, you tried. Appreciate the effort.”

“Of course, anytime.” Kazuma says, trying to play it off cool and waving distractedly. “Anything for a friend.”
“You really are a good leader, General.” the blonde woman whose name you can't remember says, nodding approvingly. “Taking care of one's subordinates is the duty of those in charge.”
“He's just a good person like that.” Megumin's longtime friend Yunyun says, smiling happily.
“You really just fixed her? Just like that?” Chaya asks the blue-haired goddess, who nods enthusiastically. “How? That seemed like Caulifla's healing magic, but it felt a lot stronger.”

“Haa haa haa, of course my healing is stronger. I am a goddess, after all. I channel my full divine power into my miracles, not like the lesser versions others do where they are only allowed to use a fraction of a deity's power.” the woman boldly claims, wagging a finger towards your daughter. “Now she should be perfectly fine, even if her memories were scrambled she should remember everything.”
“Everything?” you ask, turning from the goddess towards the woman, the young man having set her back down as the two talk. You take a step towards them, the two turning at the sound. And, seeing you again she gulps worriedly, then throws a proper Saiyan salute to you.

“F-F-Forgive me sir, I didn't mean to cause you any trouble!” she says, still clearly nervous.
“At ease, this wasn't your fault.” you reply, Raven then stepping up beside you, a serious look on her face.
“Kaper, isn't it?” Raven asks, the woman nodding to her. “I need you to tell me everything you remember. What is the last thing you were doing?”
“The last? Umm, well, I remember going with Sallot. We were going to get something to eat together. Like, well, a date.” she says nervously, blushing a bit. “But as we sat down, I remember someone reaching out to me. They said, umm, oh! That was it! They said “I need you to do something for me.” And then I woke up here.”

“Someone reached out to you?” Chaya asks her, eyes intently focused on her. “Do you know who?”
“Of course. It was....” she replies, but then her eyes unfocus, staring at nothing. Then, after a second she blinks, eyes refocused if a bit confused. And when she continues speaking the woman sounds really confused. “I...don't know? Why don't I know? I knew who it was when it was happening, I'm sure I did. We talked a bit before everything went black. But why don't I know now?”
“Dammit!” Chaya snarls, her sudden anger and volume causing the woman and man both to flinch. Without another word Chaya storms out of the room, everyone looking around confused at each other a moment. All except Raven, whose eyes never leave the woman's face, brows furrowed.

“Don't mind her. She's just very....Emotional, when it comes to what happened.” you tell the two of them. “Whoever attacked you used your body to go after Raditz.”
“Raditz? Who is that?” she asks, seemingly genuinely confused. “Wait, isn't that Kakarot's older brother?”
“Yes, but what we don't know yet is why. We were hoping you would be able to remember, and tell us.” you respond, sighing out. “But, either way, I'd stay clear of him, at least for the time being. He knows you were being controlled, but after what happened he might still be a little...Jumpy.”

“I understand. Thank you for helping me.” Kaper says, bowing to you. However, as she's bowed at the waist Raven walks up, placing her hands on the sides of the younger Saiyan's head and lifting her face up to her own. You watch as the Guardian again releases her dark magical essence from her eyes into the woman, but this time remains standing, the two staring into each others' eyes unblinking for several seconds. Then the dark energy pours back into Raven, who sighs and releases the girl before weaving her dark magics over the woman's head, ending her incantation after repeating it three times. For a split second her head vanishes inside a void of infinite darkness, but that then vanishes to reveal that she's fine.

“There. That should keep you safe, should that being make a second attempt on your mind.” Raven tells the woman, who then salutes and bows to her as well.
“Thank you so much. I don't know what I did to deserve such a gift, but I will not forget it.”
“Be careful out there you two. Whoever did this is still out there.” you tell them, voice stern. But then you relax a bit, continuing. “Feel free to stay here and rest as well, take as much time as you need.”
“Thank you, General. Thank you everyone!” both Kaper and Sallot reply, saluting you together and then the room. Raven, wordlessly opens another portal back to her island home, stepping through and shutting it behind her almost instantly.

For a moment you consider going after your eldest, but after a moment let it go. She's a grown woman, and can handle herself. Instead you turn your focus to Chilli, your son turning to you as he senses your gaze.

“I appreciate this. Thank you for coming.” you tell your son, Chilli nodding back as you talk. “And thanks for bringing them along as well, it was the right call.”
“You're welcome.” he replies, sighing out and tucking back away the first of the dark rocks he'd been holding onto. “Guess I won't need those.”
“What are they?” you ask him, Chilli holding up the other so you can see it. However, before he can speak, Yunyun speaks up.
“Manatite? No, that isn't manatite. What is it?” she asks, the shy woman looking the rock over.
“You're right, it's not manatite.” Chilli tells her, reaching back into his robe with his free hand and pulls out a dark crystal with a strange light glowing from within. “Manatite is crystallized raw magic. Whereas this material is something else entirely. I found it when I was expanding the house further underground. This ore has been soaked in the mana from the leyline nexus, becoming magically charged. And, unlike Manatite, they can be recharged just by returning them and allowing them to re-energize by the leyline.”

“Recharging manatite? I think I know a friend or two who might want to get their hands on some.” Kazuma says, his sudden greed apparent in his eyes. But you cut him off, returning your attention to what you'd originally planned to talk about.
“Speaking of magical stones, I wanted you to take a look at what Chaya sent over.” you tell him, then connecting telepathically quickly explain what happened on Sanghelios, how everything unfolded there and what power the crystals contain before continuing aloud. “If you would, check it out for me some time? I'd be curious to know what you find out.”
“Of course. I have a few other projects I want to get to first, not to mention a certain someone's birthday is coming up just around the corner I also have to prepare for. But I'll get to it.” he says, you reaching over and patting him on the shoulder.

“Thanks son. Not in any big rush, but whenever you dig into it let me know.” you tell him, Chilli nodding back. You then turn, again thanking Kazuma and Aqua for their help before Chilli returns them all to his world. Leaving just you, the two young adults, and Dr. White in the Medical Bay. You turn, seeing them both bowing to the doctor and thanking him, Dr. White accepting their thanks graciously. They then turn to leave, both seeing you still standing there.
“Thank you again General!” Sallot says, saluting you once more. “I deeply appreciate everything you've done for us!”
“Y-Yes, thank you!” Kapar replies, also saluting.

You salute back, surprising the both of them before you speak, addressing Kaper directly.

“Whoever did this to you will return.” you say, seeing both her and the young man both gulp with worry. “What do you plan to do about it?”
“I'll protect her!” Sallot declares boldly, you chuckling at his enthusiasm.
“Just like you did before?” you ask, his face turning red in both anger and embarrassment. However, before he can have an outburst you continue. “As you both are now, you still are easy marks for someone who would want to hurt you. So, I have a proposition.”
“A proposition?” they both ask, sounding uncertain.

“Yes. You're free to decline, as what I offer isn't for everyone. But, should you both want to get stronger, to strengthen both body and mind, feel free to join my other students.” you say, their eyes widening in surprise. “We train every single day an hour after lunch time, at the furthest cluster of gravity chambers. If you don't know where to go, ask a couple of my other students or follow my powerlevel at that time.”
“You...Really? You'd invite us along?” the young woman asks, jaw dropping in surprise. “But, we're not even Super Saiyans, or even that strong.”
“Most of us don't start out strong. Twenty five years ago, my powerlevel wasn't even three thousand.” you say, both of their eyes widening. “It's not about how strong you start out, but about how strong you choose to make yourself. But, if getting strong isn't for you then you're free to not join. I only want those who want to better themselves to join up.”

“I accept!” Sallot says immediately, you seeing his eyes burning with determination. With the desire to better himself, to prevent something like this from ever happening again. “I'll do whatever it takes to protect her.”
“Sallot...” Kaper replies, looking at him much as Meloka would look at you sometimes before her expression grows serious, you seeing a lesser determination appear in her eyes as well. She doesn't possess the young man's fire, but still seems like she wouldn't simply give in. “I-Me too. I'll join too.”
“Alright, then I'll see the both of you tomorrow.” you reply, the two saluting again before heading out the door. It slides shut behind them with a hiss, you turning to thank Dr. White again only to see his seat is slightly reclined back, the older man fast asleep in his chair. To which you decide not to disturb him, whispering a “Thanks doc.” before raising your right hand to your forehead.

But who will you teleport to?

Well the thing is, why would our Bane know what Chaya would be doing? He could know what he may suggest to her, but at the same time, our Bane doesn't actually know exactly what Chaya is like, so he wouldn't know what advice Chaya-Bane would be giving in particular.

You gotta keep in mind that the shades aren't linked. It's why Karn and Bane didn't know when that mook got ahold of his own shade and tried to gank us. They don't know what the others know.

>I only want those who want to better themselves to join up.”
You know, this helped me to put into words what I thought about Karn compared to Goku. Goku is always chasing the peak. He's climbing until he gets to the top. He'll without fail summit any height that is presented to him. But that's it. When he's there he tends to forget the journey. He gets a bit complacent. Until something lights a fire in him to climb some more.

Karn on the other hand is just always climbing. There is no goal in sight for him. He's not chasing anyone or anything. He doesn't want to be the best or prove himself. He just wants to get stronger. So even when he's at the top and there's nothing left to grasp to pull himself up he's still just ascending no matter what it takes.

To put it more succinctly, Goku hikes up the mountain, but Karn is -making himself- the mountain.

Anywho, dweeby shit done. For now.
>>
>>5803606
That was very insightful anon. Good Shit.
>>
>>5803606
I'd argue that Karn DOES have goals, they're just a lot less tangible than Goku's.
Karn's chief concerns in life at this point are getting strong enough to protect his family AND making sure they can protect themselves when he's gone.
Unlike wanting to be the strongest, they're not things that you can really define with metrics alone.

Focusing on your ki sense you seek out Raditz, the warrior's power surprisingly hidden. It takes you several seconds to find him, the younger man suppressing it substantially and hiding amongst several far weaker powerlevels. But you still manage to find him, locking onto his power and teleporting over to him. One instant you're there in your ship's medical, the next find yourself in...Another medical bay. This one's unfamiliar to you, several doctors looking over many infants inside the young birthing pods. But right in front of you is Raditz, leaning against a free wall with his arms crossed. He doesn't move as he senses your arrival, only opening his eyes.

“Raditz. We need to talk.” you say, the warrior's eyes narrowing as he stares at you. “You know something about what went down.”
“I know who is behind it.” he replies matter-of-factly, then sighing out. “But it doesn't matter. After today, it won't happen again.”
“The hell do you mean?” you ask him, feeling yourself growing a little angry at his refusal to help. “Whoever did this is still out there, and they'll strike again! Whatever information you have, I need it.”

“With all due respect, General Karn: fuck off.” he says, you feeling a brow raise at the sudden hostility. The entire room goes quiet, you feeling everyone's gazes on you both. “Even if I told you, you wouldn't believe me anyways. So, just.... Just go away. You and your entire family just need to leave me the hell alone.”

Silence hangs in the air, the tension thick as you and the younger warrior stare each other down. You can see that he's adamant, that even if you tried to force him to tell you he wouldn't. So, instead of trying you simply take a deep breath, close your eyes and sigh out, taking a long, slow breath. Then, opening your eyes you speak again.

“Very well, I'll entrust this problem to you. However, should this happen again, should another fall to whoever or whatever caused that attack, it will be on your head.” you tell him, Raditz exhaling and nodding, feeling his entire body suddenly relax. He'd been one word away from going into his Super Saiyan 3 form, to fight you should he need to, but when you drop the issue he relaxes. “And I will show no mercy.”
“If another falls after today, I'll willingly tell you all I know. But, before you go, promise me one thing.” Raditz says, you feeling your brows go up again. “That if I tell you this, you won't tell another soul. Swear on your life.”

The tension returns to the room, but now you feel everyone no longer looking at you. Instead, purposefully looking away from you both. For a few seconds you think it over, then give him a small nod.

“I accept those terms.” you say to him, Raditz closing his eyes and taking another deep breath before sighing out, reaching out to you telepathically.
“I'm leaving. As soon as Redis is healed up, we're leaving this planet behind.” he thinks, you feeling your eyes widen in surprise. “Tonight we're leaving, and I shall never be returning. The problems chasing me won't be everyone else's problems anymore, and no one else will get tied up in my fights.”
“Are you sure?” you ask him aloud, then add in telepathically. “You don't have to run from your fight, we all are willing to help you Raditz.”

“Heh. I appreciate it Karn. But there are some problems you cannot accept anyone's help for.” he says, holding his right hand out towards you. “You've always been there when I needed you, and you've helped shape me into the warrior I am today. So, for that, thank you. For everything.”
“Anytime.” you reply, you and Raditz grasping each others forearms. “If you ever truly need my help, you know how to reach me.”
“Same here. If our home is ever in danger like it was back during the war, let me know so I can defend my people.” he answers, you both shaking once before releasing each other. “Farewell, General Karn.”

“See you, Raditz.” you reply, the two of you sharing a nod of understanding. Then you turn, heading to the door to leave the medical bay behind. But as you do, you see a scouter that looks brand new, and realize that you haven't checked your own powerlevel for months. So, on a whim you take it, putting the machine on and scan yourself.

You watch as the number climbs higher and higher, past a million, past ten million, past a hundred million and watch as the number keeps climbing. It rises well past where you remember it to be, reaching 999,999,999.999 before the display just reads ERROR, the scouter emitting an annoying, long beeeeep. At this noise everyone turns back towards you, you setting the scouter down after turning it off and heading out the door. Your powerlevel is now over a billion.

“A billion.” you think to yourself as you leave the hospital room behind, wondering how wild it is that you've reached this point. For a moment you wonder what your old man would think of it, them smile to yourself as you remember his voice. Wrapped up in your own little world, you pay no attention to your surroundings, lost in your thoughts until you come to an unfamiliar door. It isn't automatic like the others, which is why it not opening for you to let you through brings you out of your memories of Tatsu and back to the present. It looks different, almost as if it doesn't belong here. This door, in a metal hallway is entirely made of stone, no apparent handle on it. But then, as you stare at the door, realize that it isn't a door after all. But a mural of sorts, images carved into the dark material. One you realize isn't stone, but a dark, familiar metal.

“Katchin?” you wonder aloud, looking at the floor-to-ceiling mural and begin to see what it really is. Looking at the engravings, words carved beneath each scene you quickly see that this is less a mural and more an instruction guide. One built to teach a young Saiyan a very, very important lesson. “Super Saiyan? A guide on how to transform into a Super Saiyan?”
“Quite something, isn't it?” King Vegeta IV asks, your king walking up to you through the hallway. “I've stored it here for now, until it becomes time to put this on display for the whole planet.”

“It is a good thing. But what do you mean, time?” you ask, the king simply smirking and turning away from it. He goes to start walking away, you following, curious. He leads you up several floors, you realizing that this wasn't one of the hospitals but the royal hospital inside Vegeta's palace. He takes you up to the roof access, lifting up into the air. You follow along, curious as he leads you towards a cluster of people. From on high you can still recognize Vegeta's brother Tarble, the younger warrior instructing several of your own students. Each of who you immediately recognize as those who can't transform yet. And as you watch he slowly transforms, talking the others through how to do so as well. And, to your surprise, several start to tap into that power, none of them managing to transform quite yet.

“The time will come when future generations will need this knowledge.” he says as Tarble talks with them one at a time, giving each of them pointers before telling them to do it again, powering up alongside them to help lead by example. “When we are long gone, or great grandchildren little more than fleeting memories to their descendants, the legacy of this power to protect their home will live on. With none of us around to teach them ourselves, we must leave behind our teachings, the power we earned through bloody conquest and cultivated through our near-extinction. When memories of who we are have faded, our lessons will still remain. And, when they need it, it shall be there for them.”

“The power responds to a need, not a desire.” you say, repeating the words you'd told the king so many years ago, when you'd trained him to unlock and control that golden power on his own.
“When that day comes, I can only hope that our lessons won't be forgotten, that everything we fought for won't be taken away.” he says, you both watching as one of the weaker students, with a pained roar transforms partially, taking on the false form with their hair standing up and gold aura blazing, but their hair remaining black with tinges of red, their powerlevel only around twenty times greater. “That future generations take to heart the lessons we give, and so many of our peoples' sacrifices won't ultimately be in vain. But that will be their decision to make. All we can do is ensure those of us we leave behind are strong enough to choose their own destinies.”

Which is a sentiment you can wholly get behind.

The two of you remain floating there in the air, watching the students train under Tarble a moment or two before you start to fill King Vegeta in. Telepathically you tell him all about what happened on Sanghelios with the Arbiter and the Soulstone, as well as what happened here with the poor girl who was possessed by something. The king's expression darkens at this, even more so when you tell him about your encounter with Raditz afterwards. Minus what you'd promised to keep secret, of course.

“While I disapprove of his methods, if he claims he can stop the problem, then for now we'll observe.” he says, sounding more annoyed than worried. “I'll have him tailed though, just to make sure. Emilia?”
“Yes, my king?” the former assassin turned bodyguard says, simply appearing out of thin air behind him. Surprising you, as you'd not sensed her presence the entire time. She must have sensed your shock, or your face gave it away or something as she gives you a small, knowing smirk. “Should I tail him myself?”
“No need. Get the sisters for this one. He's a perceptive one, but if they work in tandem they should avoid detection.”

“At once.” she replies, vanishing. Although, you aren't entirely sure if she's just gone, or still here and merely concealing her presence. Which you have to give it up for, she's become far more advanced than what you remember of her family's abilities.
“So, how long was she there?” you ask, to which Vegeta chuckles before answering.
“To tell you the truth, I have no idea.” he says, you feeling your jaw drop a bit. “The only way I know if she's here or not anymore is if she doesn't answer when I call for her.”
“I...See.” you reply, unsure how you feel about her being so stealthy that you couldn't detect her presence at all. But, after a few seconds' thought decide it for the best. After all, if even the king himself can't detect his bodyguard, then surely his enemies wouldn't either. “So, any thoughts on this whole mess?”

“Whoever it is doesn't want to be found. And while I doubt it's a problem on my end, any of my enemies, I'll keep my eyes peeled. After all, who is to say that this wasn't simply a trial run, a test of their power to see what they could get away with? After all, your daughter and Raditz's whole...Situation isn't exactly a big secret. One of Vox's cameras got her breaking into his house and starting a fight on camera, or so I'm told.”
“Of course it did.” you say with a sigh, thinking it over. Attacking him would certainly be a great way to hide your true intent while testing your powers, hell if it was something that could be pinned on your daughter too instead of on themselves it would be even better. They could still act without scrutiny, then assassinating their true target and blaming the entire mess on her.

However, as your mind goes down that path, you get the feeling that you're missing something. Some detail that would blow the whole thing wide open. But you push it out of your mind, you don't know enough to start drawing baseless conclusions from incomplete evidence. -decide that you need to get back to your younger children. With Meloka still away in the realm of the gods, the only parent they have around is you. So you say your farewells, focusing on your younger children's ki and find that most of them have already gathered back on the ship, along with the older twins and Caulifla. With a smile you raise your right hand to your forehead, teleporting to your biggest daughter. In a blink you're floating behind Caulifla as she picks up Karn Jr with one hand, throwing him up into the air then chasing him down and firing a heavy left smash. Your youngest son crosses his arms, blocking the hit as she knocks him back-first into one of the walls. At the same time Maz and Kayle are trying to take on the older twins, Tatsu and Tomi. Or, rather, Tomitsu.

“Come on, is that all you've got?” the fully fused fighter asks, blocking both the younger twins Super Saiyan attacks with a single palm in... His? Her? Their base form. “Just flailing about won't beat me, you two have to work together.”
“I'm gonna beat you on my own!” Maz declares, drawing his right hand back and firing a blast at Tomitsu's face. Except it isn't an attack, instead a flash of blinding light meant to disorient the fusion. And it works, allowing Kayle to immediately drive her left elbow into the fusion's sternum, catching it by surprise. However, as they all fight, one child isn't sparring like the others. Down on the ground, you see Okira reading another book, her and her Stand Imagine Dragon both looking over the text. So you drop down, landing beside your daughter.

“No one want to spar with you, kiddo?” you ask, Okira turning up towards you with wide eyes.
“Daddy!” she exclaims, jumping up towards you. “You're back! Did everything go okay on Sanghelios?”
“Yes, it all went well.” you tell her, ruffling her hair. “Ready to start sparring yourself?”
“Rea-Wait, hold on.” she says, speaking open her private library dimension, putting the book back and closing it before turning back to face you. “Ready!”
“Hit me with all you've got.” you tell her, taking your own fighting stance. Your daughter kicks off the ground, lunging at your face immediately with a barrage of strikes. With your arms you block her attacks, coaching her through switching up her attacks and how to target weaknesses. Then, after a few minutes of sparring with your youngest daughter you call everyone to stop and switch partners, pairing Caulifla with Tomitsu and Karn Jr, Okira, Maz, and Kayle all against you. “Alright, now I want all of you to go to your strongest forms, and fight me like you mean it.”

“RIGHT!” Karn Jr shouts enthusiastically, ascending to his Super Saiyan 3 form. Maz and Kayle take on their Ascended forms, while Okira only flares her aura up, remaining in her base form. “Let's go!”

The three Super Saiyans all kick off the ground towards you simultaneously, Karn Jr blazes past his siblings, swinging a right fist for your face that you block on your left forearm. At the same time Kayle goes low, dashing underneath and sliding to a stop behind you while Maz flies up on your right side, left fist drawn back with a ball of ki in her hand.

“HAAAA!” he roars, firing a beam at your face that you block with your right palm. Leaving your chest open, Okira flying in and driving her elbow into your unarmored chest with her elbow. But you barely feel her attack, your attention on her stronger siblings who can actually hurt you as the spar continues. Yet as it continues you feel her hanging back more and more, after only a minute giving up entirely and going back to one of her books. You feel bad, but decide to make it up to her later, focusing on the three of them you're currently sparring with now. Then, after switching everyone's partners again, paring Maz and Kayle with Caulifla and Tomitsu with Karn Jr, turn your full attention back to your youngest daughter.

“Sorry about that kiddo. I shouldn't have had you all fight at the same time.” you tell her, Okira looking up from her book again. “You got left out, and that's my fault.”

But what do you do to make it up to her?

I'm going for Super Saiyan focus as it'll give her an "Oh Shit" button that doesn't potentially destroy the Universe.

“So, to make up for it, how about you and I go off on our own for some one on one training? I'll do my best to help you get to Super Saiyan as well.”
“Really?” she asks excitedly, eyes sparkling. “Do you mean it?”
“Of course I mean it.” you tell her, watching as she and Imagine Dragon reopen the portal to her private dimension, storing the book away again before looking up at you excitedly. Reaching down you again ruffle her hair, calling out to the older children. “Tomitsu, Cauli, you two are in charge. Okira and I are going off for a different kind of trianing.”

“Alright.” Tomitsu replies, easily blocking the tiny fists coming at them.
“Good luck sis! I know you can do it!” Karn Jr calls, not turning his focus from his fight.
“Be safe.” Caulifla calls down, you raising your right hand to your forehead and expanding your ki sense. It only takes a moment, you finding a lone Hydae out in the forest by itself and teleport yourself and your daughter over by it. As you both appear in the forest the creature shrieks, turning and sprinting away.
“Should we go after it?” your daughter asks, you shaking your head.
“No, it won't be a problem. Now, let's focus on getting you acclimated to the level of power.” you say, clenching your fists and powering up. Instead of tapping into the full Berserker power, you tap in just enough to go Super Saiyan. A form you haven't taken in quite some time.

“Hey, how come you didn't get bigger?” she asks, looking curiously up at you. “I've never seen you transform and not grow larger.”
“That's because I usually go into my Berserker power.” you tell her. “But today's not about that, we're going to start working on getting you into being a Super Saiyan. Now, close your eyes, and focus on your power.”
“Right.” she replies, closing her eyes. You then begin channeling your power into her, the transformed might seeping into her. Just as you had with Chaya so many years ago, the day your daughter tried to copy you and Freeza by firing her own Eye Beams. And when you'd channeled your energy into her, she'd momentarily transformed. Doing so again, you watch as your daughter's power starts to rise, aura blazing emerald like your own. Her hair and eyebrows shift to green as well, you remembering that you no longer have access to the 'normal' Super Saiyan power and ending it. Her hair and aura remain green for several moments after you pull your hand away, aura fading away as she returns to normal and opens her eyes.

“Woaaaah. That power, it felt so invigorating!” she says, catching you by surprise a moment before remembering how hard she's been studying words to use her Stand more efficiently. “Let's do it again!”

“Hold on, now it is your turn.” you tell her, your daughter looking curiously up to you. “Now we're going to draw that power hidden deep within back up and out of you. Are you ready?”
“Ready!” she replies, eyes shining in excitement.
“This power, it doesn't respond just because you want it.” you say, taking a knee before her and looking her in the eyes as close as you can to her level. “Taking the power for the first time, it has to be necessary. The strength of a Super Saiyan responds to a need, not a desire.”

“A need, not a desire.” she repeats, thinking over what you told her. Then, much as you had with young King Vegeta all those years ago, you then lift up into the air.
“You have to be backed into a corner, with no way out but through.” you say, powering up into your Berserker form. Focusing you lower your strength to where you'd estimate her Super Saiyan strength would be at and begin gathering your ki overhead into a giant ball. “You have to give it everything you've got, understand?”
“I'm ready!” she calls back up to you, sounding far more confident than you like. But you're ready, if you feel her strength fall you'll step in and save her.
“HRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, pitching the massive orb down. The giant ball of energy drops, closing the distance before you hear her shout, feeling her fire a blast of energy into your orb. However, her power doesn't even slow your attack, feeling it push through her beam until she stops firing, forcing her to abandon her attack and catch yours. “C'mon Okira, you can do this.”

“HAAAAAAAA! Grrr! GRRAAAAAAAA!!” she roars, pushing against you with everything she's got. But the power gap is impossible at her current power, she can't stop it. But her power isn't dropping, you feeling her still pushing with everything she's got.
“Come on kiddo.” you mutter, feeling her putting everything she's got into pushing back your power. However, she's being pushed back, her powerlevel slowly dwindling as she puts everything into trying to stop you. You feel her strength start to give out, her might failing and decide to jump in to intervene. However, the very second you do, you feel it: you feel a very familiar power suddenly begin to well up inside your youngest. Your powerlevel dips slightly, her strength exploding as your Berserker power wells up from within her.

“GRRRRROOOAAAAAAR!!” she roars, her powerlevel spiking as reality starts to change colors. No way, is she really...? “GRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

“GRRROOOOOAAAAAAARR!!!” she roars, emerald aura exploding up and knocking your attack straight back at you at nearly double the speed you'd dropped it down. You draw back your right hand, backhanding the orb straight up into the air, staring down at your daughter. You watch in awe as reality distorts around her, colors shifting and changing as her body starts tearing at the seams, your daughter screaming in pain. “GYAAAAAAAH!!”

Her body explodes, growing substantially as her hair shifts to a blazing green, powerlevel swelling to greater and greater heights, far beyond what you'd though she would achieve. And with a final, pained roar finishes transforming.

“GRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” she roars, emerald light soaking the surroundings, aura blazing up around her as her chest heaves. “Haaah, haaah, hraaaah.”

But what do you do?

You're left awestruck for several seconds, seeing your daughter attain your own powerful form. But, seeing her body tremble with barely-restrained rage, her power continuing to skyrocket as her frame can't contain it, you decide to try and help her regain control. So you fly down, landing in front of her and call her name.

“Okira. Okira, it's me kiddo. Can you hear me?” you ask, the Berserker looking up from the ground at you. Immediately you see she doesn't recognize you, and with a snarl charges.
“GRRAAAAAAAA!!” she roars, swinging at you with a wild right. Immediately you raise your left forearm, blocking the strike. However, you'd powered down before throwing that attack, the surprising force behind her blow still knocking you clean off your feet. Surprised you flip backwards, landing back on your feet and sliding to a stop only for her to already be right back in your face, firing another heavy blow. This time you raise your right forearm, blocking her left punch with your feet planted, keeping you from being blown away again. Which only seems to anger her more. “GRRRRAAAAAAAA!! RAAAAAAA! HAAAAAA!”

With each punch she roars, you easily stopping the blows but make no headway into getting her to see reason.

“Come on Okira, come back to me.” you say to her, but your daughter's reason is out the window. She continues swinging with wild abandon, lacking technique but with power you hadn't thought her capable of with her base powerlevel. “Don't lose yourself to this anger, fight back!”
“GRRRAAAAAA!!” she snarls in response, driving her right knee up towards your chin. Stepping back you avoid the strike, your daughter twisting and firing a left turning kick at your temple. But you block that hit easily with your right, grabbing her by the leg and spinning her around once overhead in a circle before swinging her down to the ground, making a giant Okira-shaped crater. Letting go you jump back, not sure how she'll react to taking damage. However, you hadn't lept back far enough, as she suddenly just explodes. Her surging power is unleashed from her in all directions, you only having an instant to raise your arms and try to shield yourself from her unleashed power.

“SHI-!” you exclaim, her Super Explosive Wave slamming into you. You manage to hold your ground, feet digging parallel trenches through the soft forest floor for a couple yards before Okira's power stops exploding. Then, rising up out of the crater she'd made, your daughter turns to face you, malicious grin on her face.
“Heh heh heh.” she chuckles menacingly, opening her mouth. Only for you to see that her Stand has changed as well.

No longer does it have the twin mouths from before, instead it has one mouth with two rows of teeth, spikes covering the back of its head as it roars into the sky, wingspan growing larger than Okira's spread arms. Then, before you're prepared yourself it looks at you, lunging forward. You weren't ready, Okira and her enraged Stand closing the distance.
“Divi-!” you start, but before you can summon your own stand it's closed the distance. “It's fast!”

But that's all you can think before it swings, the claws on one wing blazing as they slash deep into your chest. Your blood sprays out from the four parallel wounds, you crying out in pain and dropping down to a knee as it pulls its right wing back, swinging with its left's claws. Only for Divine Dragon Force to appear around your right arm, ready to intervene.

“GWROOOAAAAR!” your Stand roars, lunging in and grabbing hers by the neck with its teeth. Before Okira or the other Stand can try and dislodge DDF it goes into a death roll clockwise, twisting it around and around, swinging Okira by her Stand up and over you, crashing down to the ground before growling at the other Stand. “YIELD.”

The fires in its eyes burn out, Okira's Stand retreating back into your daughter's mouth. Only, as she lays there, you see her body start shrinking back down. You watch as she reverts back into her base form, clearly unconscious as your glowing green blood continues dripping from your chest onto your legs and the ground. Her Stand got you good, you raising your left and pressing it to the wounds, trying to slow the blood loss a bit. However, before you can push yourself back up, someone else has arrived. One who doesn't look too happy.

“Dad, what the hell was that?” Broly asks, you looking up and seeing your son looking from you to Okira's unconscious body and back. “What in the world just happened?”
“It's a bit of a story.” you say, pushing yourself back up to your feet as you revert back to your base form, thanking Divine Dragon Force for saving you. Your Stand only nods before fading away again, you walking over to your daughter and picking her up in both arms. “Come on, I'll tell you as we fly back.”

And so you do, telling your son everything that happened that day as you return home, landing at the ramp as the sun begins to set behind you over the water. It has been one wild day, but you have a feeling that it's not quite over yet. And, sure enough, before either of you can walk inside, a massive beam of rainbow light crashes to the beach to your right, both you and your son ascending into your strongest states. Seems trouble just can't stop looking for you.

Normally I'd associate this with the Asgardians, but Universe 6 has the Marvel to our DC, so it's not them. Not Beerus with Whis either, I'm guessing. Possibly... Champa? Could it be that he's trying to recruit people from Beerus' own universe for the Tournament?
>>5804524
I remember asking you a good 100 threads ago about the Berserker power, and if something would happen, were we to perform the SSG ritual with exclusively Berserkers, to which you'd say that Karn and Broly are the only Berserkers that would be born within the next foreseeable 100 years. Guess that plan of yours has changed, huh?
>>
>>5804525
It was glowing with the power of the Berserker Soul. As we know, ones blood houses the soul. Just look at Gael’s ending.
>>5804528

Are you sure about that?
What do you mean? Okira wasn’t born with this power. And while neither was this timeline’s Karn, I couldn’t just go and spill the beans on how Karn had the Berserker power back then, right? My “plan” as you put it didn’t change, but Karn had assumed a power I hadn’t anticipated you all actually controlling all the way back then.

Also on the topic of Souls, I had an idea.
We've proven that a fusion of souls from separate timelines is possible, and with that established...
What if we went around multiple timelines and started eating their respective Miyashi? Ignoring the impracticality and actually doing so, what would the pros and cons of that be?
Pic tangentially related.
>>
>>5804538
I wonder if Karn Prime wished to have the berserker power in his timeline after seeing Broly in action when everyone was young and weaker, so he could have enough power to do whatever he needed to do.
>>
>>5804562
The biggest of any given to humankind, as he was the first. And yes, the concept of blood being the vessel of the soul is a rather interesting one.
>>5804570
Pros: moar power, harder to erase temporally as you’re connected ti more and more timelines
Cons: Miyashi gets more and more control as he becomes a greater percentage of the soul, rage is even harder to control.
Just to name a few of each.
>>5804605
A good question. It is hard to say.
>>

Wait, so does this mean that we can in theory share the Berserker power with anyone we want now as long as they don't have a mutually exclusive power like god ki?
>>
>>5804570
God, I actually rewatched this just yesterday.
I really fucking wish they expanded on that setting more. Why is that ONE universe so much more advanced than the others? Is it expected that all instances of a person die at the same time if no universe-hoppers interfere, so as to prevent a 'the one' scenario? Have they ever gone into universes where humanity WASN'T present, and something else dominated earth?
Shit is wasted potential. FUCK.

Are you judging her based on her size? She gets enough of that already
>>
>>5804671
Not really. It was more of the fact that she wraps all of her problems in a box that's ready to explode at the seams with the right stimulus. You know, going back in time to save people who are already doomed, being the go-to livesaver for people who got brutally fucked up, feeling that every death was preventable by her hands, constantly being "the nice one" out of the entire family, generally keeping shit inside that someone her age really should talk to someone about, stuff like that y'know. Maybe the missing ingredient is extreme violence.
>>
>>5804682
>Maybe the missing ingredient is extreme violence.
Just like a good gumbo. Sometimes all you need is a good scream and slap.
>>
>>5804682
No, that won’t make her a Berserker. And she has been with Raven and the former Guardian to control her emotions better. With her body constantly being soaked in divine magic though, as well as having tens of thousands of people believing in her unconditionally, she’s more likely to evolve a more faith-based transformation. At this point she just needs the right…push to get her there.

>I never heard of it, but lore dives can be fun.
The basic rundown is as such;
Jet Li's character is part of a temporal police agency the hops around from timeline to timeline (sound familiar?)
He then proceeds to start going from timeline to timeline and systematically wiping himself out, absorbing his counterparts' energy and growing stronger as he does so.
Eventually, he gets down to the last one, a version of himself on the LAPD circa 2001.
Evil Jet tries to take him out and finally become "The One", only for LAPD Jet to start tapping into the same power. Kombat ensues.
>>
>>5804765
It is possible. But do you know how to, once its given?
>>5804782
She has.
>>5804806
Jet li was always a fun watch, but not sure how he’d greenscreen fight himself
>>
>>5804814
>Jet li was always a fun watch, but not sure how he’d greenscreen fight himself
Given it was 2001? Copious usage of camera trickery and stunt doubles. It's a fun watch though, I highly recommend it.
>>
>>5804806
Also the temporal police believe that there's a very real possibility that the multiverse will implode in on itself if anyone ever becomes The One, for some reason. Even though the only thing that seems to happen when timeline versions of people die off is that their respective 'power' gets distributed evenly across the remaining versions of themselves. It's a bit of a leap in logic, if you ask me...but I guess 'in-universe' they would have a lot more knowledge on the actual mechanics of it than we viewers do. Maybe too much of that power in one place causes the fabric of the multiverse to cinch up?
>>
>>5805270
Think about black holes. Too much gravity in one place causes problems with all sorts more shit than just making stuff really heavy like you'd expect. Could be something similar. Singularities in general tend to have unforeseen effects.

>>5805670
Well assuming you don't want "It means the middle of a black hole" kek. It is a singular thing. Be it a point or object or otherwise. It is also sometimes used synonymously with "peculiar". Which is where I just assume if there really is only one single thing of its kind, shit gets weird around it. Either relativistically or plainly. I mean imagine if there was only one burning star in the universe. That would be the only possible place for life as we know it to exist. That would be a strange place then, wouldn't it? Unique phenomenon.

Even if the movie, Li's character starts to do things that aren't physically possible when there are only two of them. Not only feats naturally beyond what a human body can perform but movements that defy physics as well. And I know, it's pretty much just typical martial arts movie especially Chinese martial arts movie stuff, but when every other character in the movie is still bound by real life stuff barring movie concessions, of course it very clearly shows that they are starting to bend the laws of reality. At least somewhat. Maybe the last one won't start glowing and start a new big bang, but who knows what wacky shit would happen.

Getting scammed like that always sucks major dick. Thats why I never ask for commissions. Worst part is how the blame game shifts to being the customer's fault when commissions aren't made on time.

>People should get proper therapy not pills.
It seems kind of pointless if you're capable of self reflection and can identify what exactly is going wrong. But at the same time I can't help but put myself down mid-reflecting.

>It seems kind of pointless if you're capable of self reflection and can identify what exactly is going wrong. But at the same time I can't help but put myself down mid-reflecting.
Think about it like this, say the wifi is shitting itself on your desktop, you can run a diagnostic on your computer to see why the internet is down and tell you exactly where the problem is, but that doesn't mean it can fix the router itself. Sometimes it needs a hand or two from the outside.

I was medicated when I was younger. It didn't fix my problem it just put a band-aid over it. I knew exactly the things that were causing my issues, I still had to teach myself how to actually deal with it. It would have been a lot easier if I had someone to help me get my feet under me first.

There is nothing wrong with asking for help. A lot of the time we make ourselves into our worst enemy. Don't make yourself powerless through acceptance.

Good to hear. But for those who didn’t need them, and only needed help its permanent damage.

Its awful. The artists for Milha’s first art and updated Maza, among others haven’t updated in months. Its all so tiresome, and these bastards are getting put on blast at the end of the year with receipts.

Sounds to me like you have some form of neurodivergence and got prescribed anti-depression shit instead by some hack shrink to make you fuck off. That would do it, I have a friend who ended up having ADHD (30 year old man btw) who tried offing himself after three years on antidepressants, because the docs couldn't be fucked to actually listen to his worriesn and symptoms. He's since been properly diagnosed and given the right meds, and I've never seen him more productive or happy. Try getting a xanax prescription, and see if that helps your day to day life without turning you into a zombie. Sorry for blogging about mental health on a DBZ quest kek
>>
>>5808175
Zoloft is a great one imo. I had anger issues on a different antidepressant but the big Z hits a sweet spot for me.
The biggest issues are:
>a lot of doctors are actually and legitimately incompetent hacks
>a lot of doctors will either fail to treat at all due to doubts about conditions or will overprescribe or incorrectly prescribe because of incomplete knowledge
>medical knowledge is not nearly as encompassing as people think it is
>medical PROFESSIONALS dont even have access to all of that medical knowledge to begin with, so what you get is even more limited
>insurances incentivize treating people wrong because they only cover x but not y even though y would actually fix the issue, which intensifies all previously stated issues
The medical industry is a fucking mess. Trust me, I’ve been watching it up close and personal for over twenty years.
Nurses are great though, Nurses deserve more rights than they get. Why it’s ok to bend labor laws and treat them like laborslaves just because someone is in the medical field is beyond me.

Oh no I was suicidally depressed, nearly played russian roulette with a full cylinder out in the forest one night many years ago. But what I needed was help. Getting out of college, where I was learning nothing and only wasting money and time, away from my third and final relationship where I was cheated on again for the last time, into Saiyan Conqueror Quest with you all depending on me to give me a reason, and into a job where I worked for a living, feeling productive and not like I was a worthless pile of shit wasting everyone's time and oxygen by simply existing. Now I'm fully medication free, including off my allergy meds I was put on in high school and have not felt physically better at any point in the last decade.

Not contesting the mental charge, as I've been here for over six years for free. That has to be mental illness.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 205 Epilogue-

AGE ???, TOWA'S LAB

“Are you sure about this? If you go in there and something goes wrong, you're on your own.” 'Auntie' Towa tells you, a note of worry in her voice. “Once you go in there, no matter what happens, I can't do anything to get you back out. You're in there until he dies.”
“Don't worry, I've been preparing for this.” you tell her, giving her a look trying to portray your confidence. “I have spent every night for the last several years thinking over how to defeat this bastard, what I could have done or should have known to do. This time, the outcome will be different.
“Very well. If you're sure, I won't stop you.” she replies with a defeated sigh as her android assistant Churai suddenly appears, holding onto both Ace and Future Chaya, both of them looking rough. “Churai, perfect timing. We'll be sending Chilli on a mission against Carnival Forever Requiem.”

“Wait, you're going back against that monster?” Future Chaya asks you immediately, despite her injuries looking more worried about you. “Did you hit your head? You don't even have a Stand.”
“True. But you don't need a Stand to hurt another Stand. Not with the right amount of Disparity.” you reply, seeing Towa's brows rise in obvious surprise. “But before I go, don't send me into a timeline where I was the one he kidnapped. Let me save one of my sisters when I go in.”
“Hmm, of course.” Towa replies, sitting in her desk an letting her fingers fly over the keys, the barely-familiar demonic script flying over the screen. It takes her a few seconds, before finding a timeline and pulling it up. “There we go.”

You, your alternate timeline sister, the former Time Patroller Ace and the android Churai watch as, instead of you, Chaya is grabbed through the screen and pulled into that damned clown's realm instead.

“Yeah, that one will do.” you say through clenched teeth, closing your fists so tight you hear your knuckles pop. “Send me in.”
“Very well. Are you ready Churai?” Towa asks, the android walking over and placing a hand on your shoulder. “Be careful Chilli. You still haven't seen everything that monster's capable of.”
“I will.” you reply, taking a deep breath in and slowly exhaling, centering yourself. “I'm ready.”

Then everything around you changes. One moment you're in Towa's Lab, the next find yourself back on the Lucrehulk, right by your younger self, as well as younger Caulifla, Chaya, and a slightly tipsy Arctus. Who seems the most shocked by your sudden appearance.

“How in the-? Who the hell are you, and how did you get here?!” he exclaims, but you pay him no mind. Lunging immediately as that damned clown reaches through the screen, grabbing Chaya by her left arm and pulling her into the screen.
“No you don't!” you exclaim, lunging forward and tearing your sister free from his grip, getting pulled into the screen in her place. The last thing you hear before everything goes weird is Caulifla calling your name, seemingly the only one who recognized you. But then you're pulled through a distortion in space and time, your senses being assaulted from all angles a moment before the sensation ends. Leaving you standing before that nightmare once again, the form you most remember it in: Carnival Forever Requiem.

“What's this? I wasn't trying to pull YOU in.” the clown says, looking you up and down once in confusion. But before he can say anything else you simply snap your left fingers, conjuring your Death Tome. Then, letting it float in the air beside you, unleash a small fraction of your power.
“Death Crystal Magic: Dual Blades.” you say, creating the twin crystal swords. The same style you'd used to cut down a god, radiating with chilling Death magic. The clown smiles at this, then breaks into a laugh.
“Ohohoho, hehehe I see.” he says, spreading his arms wide. “You wish to fight. But I will-”

Before he can finish his sentence you lunge forward, blades flashing as you unleash a couple dozen slashes in a second, sliding to a stop just past the clown's avatar. In an instant you've carved him to bits, the clown letting out a small “Huh?” before falling to pieces behind you. You look over your shoulder, seeing the pieces all wiggling but unable to really move, the clown's still-intact head looking over to you.

“Wh-What is this?” he asks, sounding genuinely confused. “What did you do to me? Why can't I pull myself back together?”
“Death Magic.” you reply, turning fully towards him. “Anything severed by Death magic cannot be reattached, living or not.”
“I see, I see. You clearly have experience fighting me.” the clown says, his head inflating and rising as if filled with air, a new body expanding out from his head until he stands back on a pair of feet again. “You've come for revenge, or perhaps to avenge? Do praytell, on what sorts of fun in your past did I binge?”
“Death Magic: Soul Reap.” you say, not engaging his nonsense as you channel your magic into your right blade, thrusting it straight into the clown's oversized head. The blade pierces through it easily, his entire body rapidly deflating like a balloon as his body goes limp. But then, after a few moments, his head speaks.

“So, was this your big finale? Or just the first of a wider magical gallery?” the clown asks, his damned rhyming getting on your nerves. However, this attack failing proved one important fact: this being has no soul.

“That was a test. And, unfortunately for you, you failed.” you reply, releasing your sword still impaled in his face. “Crystal Magic: Crystal Prison.”

The crystal blade rapidly expands into a chunk of crystal containing the monster's avatar, trapping it in place. With the monster temporarily incapacitated you leap into the air, looking down across the expanse of Carnival Forever Requiem's domain and searching for its heart. The 'Merry Go Round', as you'd remembered it called. But as you look down on it, another giant head of that Stand's avatar floats up to you, the being looking at you rather curiously.

“So, trying to find any particular ride?” the clown asks, then suddenly grins at you. “Oh, no, I see. You're thinking of a way to try and skin my hide.”
“Yes. I'm looking for your heart, so I can end you.” you reply, turning back to face him and leveling your remaining sword at him. “Now stop wasting my time with these pitiful avatars, and bring me to your real self.”
“Now, why should I do that you little pipsqueak rat?” the clown says, giving you a look full of malicious intent. “The fun's only just begun, this next joke will knock you flat.”

Then, from behind his back the clown pulls an obscenely large wooden mallet, drawing it back with both hands. But you're not playing games, pushing your sword from your hand into him with telekinesis and with a snap again activate your Crystalization spell to bind it in place. The clown tries to swing, but its arms are locked with the oversized mallet still behind it, resulting in his entire crystallized body slowly flipping forward, you easily floating past the hammer and letting the clown's own swing send him careening towards the ground. You turn, partially to watch and partially to refocus on where this damned clown's core is, spotting it and dashing down towards it. However, as you get close, suddenly you run straight into a wall. Not one you can see, but one that stops you all the same.

“Gyuh! What the hell?” you mutter, pushing off the invisible wall and trying to see it for a moment. Only for another damned clown avatar to poof into existence just on the other side, taunting you by pulling his eyelid down and sticking his tongue out at you before holding his belly, rolling with laughter. You can't hear what he's saying, but no doubt taunting you. However, what he doesn't know is that such a barrier is no problem to you now. Pulling back you focus on the spot you wish to travel to, growing identical crystals there and around your body as well. Carnival Forever Requiem's avatar sees you doing this and freezes, wondering what you're doing as he realizes that something's wrong. But by then it's too late, you whispering from the inside of your crystal shell. “Crystal Magic: Temporal Crystals.”

One moment you're in the air, outside the invisible barrier and the next you're inside the crystal growth inside the shield, the crystals shattering once you've been transported. The one outside the shield shatters simultaneously, then from both above and next to you in stereo hear the clown's confusion.

“What the hell?” he exclaims, both his avatar at seeing you vanish and the one in the central pillar of the merry-go-round as you just emerged from an empty crystal as it shattered. “How did you do that?!”
“Magic.” you reply confidently, only for a pair of clowns this time to appear between you and the core. But as they charge you level your left hand at them, transforming into your Ascended form to resist what you're about to unleash. “Dark Magic: Black Hole!”

Immediately the pinpoint of absolute gravity and darkness sucks the clowns in, the Stand's true body's eyes widening as this power distorts Carnival Forever Requiem's entire realm. EVERYTHING starts getting pulled towards that space, including the Stand's heart itself, but you end it before the Stand itself gets sucked down. You aren't letting it escape that easily.

“You think your little magic is enough to stop me?” it asks, laughing in your face. Trying to hide the panic it clearly felt before. “Foolish boy. Only a divine spirit can harm another divine spirit. Without one, you can't beat me. Only delay the inevitable.”
“Oh yeah? You really think I would come here without a way to kill you?” you ask it, raising your right hand. And at the tips of your pointer and middle finger create two tiny pinpoints of opposing magics, Dark and Light. Pressing your fingers together you merge the magics, whipping your arm across as if unleashing a Death Slash, but instead of ki release that magical power instead. “Chaos Slash!”

You aim the attack to not bisect the Stand, only to cut into its side. And, sure enough your paradoxical power slashes into the Stand, its blood spraying out from its right side where you'd shaved it.

“GYAAAAAAH!” it cries out in pain, blood spraying from its mouth as it clearly felt your attack. “Wh-What the fuck?! How? How can you hurt me?!”
“It's called Disparity. MY true power.” you say, focusing your magic once more down into both open hands. Absolute darkness in your left and blinding radiance in your right, holding your arms out to your sides. “Allow me to show you what that really means. Chaos magic: CHAOS SPACE!”

And with that shout swing your hands together, true Light and abyssal Dark clashing, growing and expanding to consume everything. You and Carnival Forever Requiem are consumed by your magic, everything around you changing. One moment you're in its world, the next you both are in yours: an endless void of grey.

“Wha-What did you do?” it asks, sounding completely shaken as it looks around desperately. But it cannot see anything through the fog, the heavy grey hanging over the world like a blanket. “Where are we? Why aren't my powers working?”
“Because in your world, you held absolute power.” you reply, smirking as you step closer to the Stand's true body. “But you have no power here. In my studies, I have discovered the truth of this place. The world beyond the beguiling illusions of Light and the oppressive nothingness of Dark. And what it truly means to be trapped here, in this place beyond, no, before Disparity. Before even fire itself.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdwOFBfUh70

And with a sweep of your arm, blow away some of the fog, revealing what the Chaos Space really is. Or, rather, where your Chaos Space spell transported you both to. A world of grey. Grey crags, giant archtrees made of stone. And, sitting peacefully beneath the trees, stone dragons. Beings immune to such concepts as time, life, warmth, or even death. They don't even look over as you talk with the Stand, its garish colors contrasting with the grey of this world, even muted as they are in this eternal twilight.

“Wh-What is this place?” it asks you again, this time sounding more awed than afraid.
“This is the beginning. And your end.” you say, summoning your Death Tome with another snap of your left hand's fingers. Holding the book in your left, you hold up your right, preparing your final spell. “Death Magic: Dust to Dust.”

Channeling the magical power of the tome through you, the Stand before you begins turning to ash. It's body begins disintegrating, turning into dust in the wind before the ultimate Death magic.

“Wait, hold on. Stop, let's talk about this!” Carnival Forever Requiem shouts, panic clear in its voice as your spell rapidly destroys it. The Stand, a soulless being will be erased completely by Death, nothing left once your magic is finished. Something it seems to fear. “No, no no no, please! I haven't done anything wrong, I don't deserve this!”
“You deserve far, far worse than this. But justice for the crimes you would have committed to my family in this time will suffice.” you reply, voice hard as you show no mercy. And, in less than ten seconds, the Stand of your nightmares is no more. “Farewell, Carnival Forever Requiem. May we never meet again.”

Chilli erased him. He proved earlier that CFR didn't have a soul, so he basically Hakai'd it. And saved his family in that timeline a whole lot of trouble.

This makes me think of the true final ultra secret sextuple new game+++ highest difficulty optional boss rush that includes the "Full potential realized" versions of the Karn clan.

I don't think anyone is ever winning that challenge.

Small sneak peek for Saturday. Are you ready to see who has just arrived to New Salda?

>>5808529
He got his back with having his daughter, then his son. This was just some icing on the cake.
The way the Time Scrolls work, whenever theres a change, they have only so long to ‘fix’ it before the change becomes permanent. By returning the results to how they’d been before the interruption, the scroll slowly ‘heals’ itself, undoing that which happened wrong. But if they’re unable to stop/undo the change, then it’s permanent.
>>5808548
>”Full potential realized” versions of the Karn clan
Oh boy. Such a battle would certainly be insane. If they have outside help like Future Chaya then it’s over, gg no re.

>By returning the results to how they’d been before the interruption, the scroll slowly ‘heals’ itself, undoing that which happened wrong. But if they’re unable to stop/undo the change, then it’s permanent.
So they either have to undo CF's destruction OR traumatize that timeline's Chaya via torture.
Something tells me the Time Patrollers don't have the balls to do something so...personal. At least not intentionally.
>>
>>5808582
No. They have to stop Chilli from -preventing- Chaya from being taken in the first place, THEN stop him from killing the Stand. A tall order, especially when whoever they send realizes that Chilli never went all-out against the clown.
>>
>>5808591
I see. Now I'm curious as to who they would even send and whether or not Towa will call us in to help.

The real question is which time patroller is man enough to willingly tango with Chilli AND the hyper malicious demon clown. They'd be really justified in asking for a raise first.
