With the defeat of Majin Buu and the Remnants at the Battle of Namek, peace has come to the Seventh Universe. With no imminent battles to fight or wars to wage, the Saiyans have enjoyed their first long-term peace since their ancestors first landed on Planet Vegeta all those years ago. Yet this peacetime hasn't slowed the progress of the warrior race known as the Saiyans, whose power have continued to grow day after day. Foremost among this warrior race is the Fateless man known as the “Dragon of New Salda” and the first Super Saiyan to have appeared in a thousand years.

You the players play as this warrior named Karn, a man who has grown from a brawler with a powerlevel less than three thousand to now being the strongest of his kind, wielding the ancient emerald power of the Berserker and father of nearly a dozen children with his wife Meloka. After mastering the Yardratian ability known as Spirit Control, your power has grown beyond all previous limits.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn took Ubo to Planet Namek, only to be confronted with an extra-dimensional being known as Mr Mxyzptlk. After a battle that consumed Planet Shaar, Karn confronted the being again only for it to try and force Karn into going berserk and kill his own family. But Karn proved the better, focusing his killing instinct on the inter-dimensional imp and finally defeating it. Only to then promise Gleeman Vox to restore Planet Shaar, traveling back to Namek. Karn and Ubo, now with Okira along as well, gather the Dragon Balls with the grand elder's blessing, then Ubo is confronted by none other than King Cold. Porunga is then summoned, Ubo wishing for his people's homeworld to be restored. Karn wishes that the damage he caused to Planet Shaar be undone, restoring that world to how it was before as well. Okira then wished for the Namekians to be happy, the three of them leaving Namek to visit the other Kryptonian. Only for him to be in a fight for his life, Karn and Ubo aiding Superman in the fight against a terrifyingly powerful monster. And as we rejoin Karn, your Dawn Breaker has failed to kill that abomination, Ubo and Superman returning to your side.

“All that wasn't enough to put that monster down?” Superman asks, looking up at the sky. No doubt trying to think of how to fight this abomination. “Can this creature even BE beaten?”
“Superman!” a woman's voice calls out, you turning and looking over your shoulder to see your daughter standing with a redheaded young man and a black-haired woman who was the one calling out.
“Lois? What are you doing here?” the Kryptonian asks, his brows furrowing a bit in concern. “It's dangerous, that monster's still-”

KABOOM

As the creature slams back into the ground near you all, he immediately moves to shield the woman. Your daughter catches the redheaded guy by the arm, keeping him from being blown away as the shock waves wash over you all. And as the dust clears, you see the monster is as good as new.

“GRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” the creature throws its head back and roars in challenge to everything that exists. You can feel the anger radiating off of this beast, a fury not too unlike your own Berserker wrath. But unlike you, this monster is ruled by this emotion.

But what do you do now?
>Have Ubo and Superman rush in, grab the monster and keep it from moving while you attack it with Divine Dragon Force
>Tell Ubo to throw up a Barrier around you once you grab onto him, then unleash a Red Dawn Grinder
>Activate your Energy Body then rush in and attack with your Djem So. Break this monster down with your power
>If you can't kill this monster with one attack, grind it into dust. Rush and attack with Su Ma, combining it with lethal energy attacks

“Ubo! Superman! I need you both to hold this thing down!” you call out to them, summoning Divine Dragon Force around your right arm. “I need one clear shot that it can't dodge!”
“Right!” Ubo shouts, immediately charging forward. Only to take a heavy right to the jaw, the creature driving its shoulder down and slamming your friend down into the dirt. But with its simple mind preoccupied, Superman rushes in and delivers a powerful double punch to the beast's wide-open sternum. Which sends the monster flying back, flipping back and landing on all fours, hands and feet digging trenches in the ground while sliding to a stop while Ubo gets back up. “We need to grab this monster, and hold it in place so Karn can end this thing. Not sending it flying.”

“R-Right.” Superman replies, sounding a bit chastised as the monster launches itself back at the two of them with a snarl. The two Kryptonians brace themselves as the monster approaches, this time it's focused on the blue tights-wearing man.
“RRRAAAAAA!!” it roars, swinging a clawed fist at his head. But Ubo moves to interfere, grabbing the monster's arm with both hands. Then, using the technique you recognize as the Su Ma grappling style, wraps his arms around the monster's, pressing the arm to his chest while swinging both legs out across his chest, locking the beast's right arm out from its body.

CRACK

Ubo snaps the beast's right arm at the elbow, both forearm bones piercing out through its skin. The monster immediately grabs at Ubo's left ankle with his left hand, but then Superman moves. Intercepting the hand, grabbing the creature's forearm with both of his hands and planting his feet.

“You ready?” you ask the crimson-scaled Stand, Divine Dragon Force nodding to you.
“Karn, do it!” Ubo calls out, you immediately dashing forward while drawing your fist back.
“GRRRAAAAAAA!! HRRAAAAAA!!” the monster roars, eyes beginning to glow crimson as it prepares to fire out its Eye Beams at Superman. But, before the beast can fire, you've closed the distance.
“DIE!!” you roar, throwing your right fist forward at the beast's guts below Ubo's legs.
“GWWRRRROOOOOOAAAAAR!!” Divine Dragon Force bellows, the crimson dragon exploding forth from your fist and slamming into the monster's core. For an instant, your Stand doesn't pierce through, stunning you. But then Divine Dragon Force prevails, piercing straight through the beast's guts.

“GURROOOA?!” the monster exclaims as your Stand pierces through its body, looking down at it in confusion.
“Get clear, now!” you shout to the two Kryptonians, both immediately letting go and flying back away from the monster. Who tries to grab onto the crimson-scaled Stand as it wraps his body up, binding its arms to its side and holding it in place as the dragon stares him down. “Finish this.”

“Understood.” Divine Dragon Force says, eyes flashing as it unleashes this monster's power on itself. The effects are immediate, the creature looking down at its guts. He tries to reach out, to pull the dragon from its guts, but with Divine Dragon Force holding it in place, he can't reach. So the monster catches you by surprise, overpowering Divine Dragon Force as it loosens the Stand's grip. “Wh-What?!”
“No way!” you say, shocked as the monster slowly but steadily forces your Stand wrapping it in place off of itself as his body disappears. “Oh no you don't!”

With that shout you rush in, crossing your arms and grabbing the monster by its wrists. Catching the monster by surprise you pull your arms together, crossing the beast's arms before it as its torso continues vanishing.

“GRRRAAAAAA!!” it snarls in outrage, eyes glowing once more as it prepares to fire at you. So you focus your own ki, forming your Unmovable Energy Body and locking yourself in place. Just as your ki hardens the beast fires, the monster's overwhelming power slamming into your own. And to your surprise, its Eye Beams are far stronger than your own, rapidly cutting into your shielding ki! But as the attack pierces deeper and deeper through the solid foot of your ki shielding your body, you realize why it is able to do this. The beams this monster is using aren't ki, like you'd expected. But the energy is actually heat, a burning ray that cuts through your energy just as King Cold's super-heated energy blade had done before. But you realize something unfortunate: this monster's beams will penetrate through your Unmovable Energy Body, as well as your head, before Divine Dragon Force has finished erasing this creature. If you don't somehow get clear, you're going to die.

“DADDY!” Chaya shouts in panic from behind you somewhere, you hoping she doesn't rush in and do something stupid that could get her killed.

But what do you do? What CAN you do?
>Abandon the attack, Instant Transmission back beside your daughter since you can't move with your Unmovable Energy Body active

“Dammit! I need a hand!” you call out, hoping against hope that your daughter doesn't rush forward and get herself roasted. But as the heat starts cooking you inside your armor, you closing your eyes against the pain, suddenly the heat just... Vanishes. Opening your eyes, you see a pair of hands above you, each somehow holding one of the heat rays back off of your armored ki.

“I've got you.” Superman says, the Kryptonian somehow able to hold the beams back away from your head with his bare hands. But after a few seconds you see his hands start changing colors, no doubt burning as this creature's entire torso vanishes into particles of light. But it's not dead yet, and refuses to stop trying to fry you. But then, before the other Kryptonian sustains too much damage, Ubo suddenly comes up from behind you both, jamming his thumbs directly into the beast's eyes!
“GAAAAAAAAAH!!” the creature bellows in pain, immediately throwing its head back in a futile attempt to get Ubo's thumbs out of its eyes. The beast screams in pain, its limbs flailing uselessly as, without a body to bind against, its arms have come free. With a flailing backhand its left fist and forearm knocks Superman away, sending him crashing to the ground somewhere behind you as the other grows a massive spike out of the wrist, swinging up at Ubo.

Who is caught by complete surprise, taking the giant spike straight through his guts! You see him wince in pain, feeling his blood splatter down onto your shielding ki, but he doesn't abandon his hold on the monster's head. Keeping it from using those devastating beams against you or himself. The beast's arms and legs finish disintegrating into nothing more than motes of light, the last thing to go is one of the bony protrusions of its face. But then the monster is no more, its ki disappearing completely. The instant its ki vanishes you drop your Unmovable Energy Body, sighing out in relief that this beast has been dealt with. But then you turn your attention immediately to Ubo, who lands beside you on his knees and left hand, holding his guts in with his right.

“Tha-glahk!” he tries to say, spitting up a mass of blood onto the ground as he coughs. “C-Cheap shot.”
“Ubo!” you worry, looking him over immediately. The injury is serious, if he doesn't get medical treatment immediately he could be in serious trouble.

But what do you do?

He's in rough shape, and despite his massive power you can feel his strength dropping by the second. So you turn, looking directly at your daughter and call out to her.

“Go back home and get something to heal him, quickly.” you tell her, your daughter nodding as her right hand goes to her forehead. Then she's gone, Instant Transmission taking her directly back to New Salda as you turn your focus back to your friend. “C'mon, hang in there.”
“Y-tch! You worry too much.” Ubo says, pushing himself over into a sitting position as a bit more blood squirts out through his fingers. He keeps himself leaning forward, trying to keep his back from leaking out too badly when the other Kryptonian comes over, using his own eye beams on his hand. He sees you looking, then explains.

“Sanitizing myself. Don't know how well your immune system can handle the diseases we've got running all over this planet without growing up with them.” he says, then presses his hand to Ubo's back. Causing him to arch his back, teeth clenched in pain but still doesn't make a sound. “Sorry, did I press too hard?”
“Keep the pressure on, don't pull back.” Ubo scolds him, sounding more annoyed than angry with his fellow Kryptonian. But as you work to try and keep his insides inside before your daughter can return, the woman and young man step up. Not to their hero, or to Ubo, but to you.
“General Karn. What....What did you do to that monster?” she asks, sounding worried. You didn't touch it, yet somehow erased that monstrosity. What did you do?”
“You mean you couldn't see?” you ask tersely, then remember that most people can't actually see Stands unless they have one themselves. But before you can answer, Chaya arrives. With backup.

“Stand clear!” your daughter Caulifla says, only wearing her undersuit without her armor as she rushes to Ubo. You immediately stand back, the blue tights-wearing man seeing you do so and steps back as well. Everyone's attention is squarely focused on Ubo and your daughter as she takes out her little bell chime, muttering to herself while ringing it. A circle of golden magic appears on the ground around all of you, then with a final syllable she raises the chime, ringing it once more, and her healing magic is unleashed. A wave of golden light washes over you all, healing not just Ubo's injuries, but everyone's who is within the circle. You feel that golden energy wash over you, but it doesn't quite feel the same. That's when you remember what you'd learned of your Berserker power, and how its anti-divine nature resists divine power. Even those that would be beneficial.

Once her magic does its trick she stands up, offering Ubo her hand which he graciously accepts. Allowing your daughter to haul him up off his feet, good as new. But the news reporter isn't done.

“Restorative magic? Disintegration? Teleportation? Just what ARE you people?” she asks, sounding more stunned than anything. And before you can say anything, Chaya steps into the camera addressing them.
“Just because we're the strongest warrior race in the universe doesn't mean we're JUST strong.” she says, just a bit too smugly. “My little sister Cauli is the best, most talented healer in the whole universe! And my brother Chilli has magic that lets him stand up to even gods who steps out of line.”

“Now missy, there's only one god.” Superman says, to your surprise, clearly catching your daughter off guard. “A lot of people claim to be god, but I've not met anyone who could claim that title.”
“There's lots of gods. Anyone with divine energy can call themselves a god.” Chaya retorts, clenching her fists and powering up into her own divine form. Her blue and gold aura blazes around her, her ki shrinking considerably but instead she begins exerting that familiar pressure you've grown to associate with deities. Like the Supreme Kai of Time, Ace, and your daughter. Then, after a moment more, probably for the camera to get a good look at her form, she powers back down. “But most of them aren't any better than the rest of us. In fact, most are kinda jerks.”

“That they are kiddo.” you tell Chaya, ruffling her hair a moment before going over to Caulifla, ruffling hers too before telepathically reaching out to her. “Chaya didn't wake you up, did she?”
“No, I was about to put my pendant on when Chaya burst in the room looking panicked.” she replies, also telepathically. “She told me Ubo was hurt, I grabbed my chime and she brought us both here. Where....IS here?”

Which is a good question, as from here you can't sense New Salda or anywhere you're familiar with. In fact, there's only one ki anywhere nearby in your sensing range that you're familiar with. And for a moment can't help but wonder what Lord Boros is doing this far out from everything? Is this world in his territory?

“I dunno kiddo. Ubo an' I just came out here so I could introduce him to his fellow Kryptonian.” you say, turning to see the two have stepped away from the reporter and your daughter, exchanging quiet words between themselves. You don't know what they're talking about, but it would probably be best not to interfere. “Speaking of, where is Okira?”

You focus your ki sense, and feel her own energy coming back from that massive population center. There are so MANY of this planet's naitives there, you bet that city houses more people than there are Saiyans left in this universe. Which is quite the realization, you wondering just how many of your people have been lost in the past twenty years? But then another question comes to mind, what is she still doing over there?

That said, working weekends is probably why I show up for threads as consistently as I do. My sleep schedule outside of workdays is fucked.

“Hey, Cauli. You want to head on home? Or do you want to stick around, and see if anyone else needs your help?”
“Well, since I'm already here, might as well.” she says, raising her arms overhead as she stretches with a yawn. You notice the redheaded cameraman with the interviewer and Chaya looking at your daughter, cheeks blushed red as his hair before he notices you looking at him. And immediately hides his face back behind his camera, not meeting your gaze. “So, where did the monster touch down?”

“That's a good question.” you say, looking around at the devastated area around you. But as you do, expanding your ki sense, you feel a vaguely familiar power. Turning your head, you notice a misshapen figure laying on the ground, surrounded by dying out flames. The figure seems badly burned, you suddenly recognizing and remembering where you'd sensed that ki before. “J'onn!”

You rush away from your daughter to the downed man's side, and with a sweep of your hand blowing the flames out before kneeling by his side. A moment later Caulifla's there with you, casting another of her healing miracles. You watch as the burned flesh all turns a sickly, familiar green, revealing the being to have a pointed head and an oddly-proportioned body. As the golden healing magic fades away, the downed man begins to stir. You watch as he starts pushing himself upright, then notices his hands. And with a thought, you watch as his body shifts, taking on the form you recognize him in before looking over his shoulder.

“Wait, Karn? What are you doing here?” the green man asks, clearly confused. So you rise, you and Caulifla each offering him a hand up. Which he takes, allowing the two of you to help him upright. “Thank you Karn, Caulifla, for saving me.”
“How did you...?” your daughter asks, the man giving a hint of a grin.
“I can read thoughts.” he replies, then turns back to you. “So, you killed that monster? Even Superman couldn't handle it?”
“It survived even my greatest energy attack, I had to use my Stand to erase it completely.” you tell him, the green man nodding.

“Caulifla, can you help me?” the green man asks her. “The rest of the league is down, Superman was the last of us standing.”
“Of course. Take me to them.” she replies immediately, without hesitation. The two of them lift up into the air, flying over towards the larger crater where you can sense a weaker powerlevel from. When all of a sudden, every instinct warns you that something dangerous has appeared behind you.

You turn, aura flaring when you see.... A man. Just a guy, his powerlevel nothing special and only a few times higher than this planet's overwhelming average. But there's something about this dark-cloaked man, black cowl covering his face. He looks to be in rough shape, clearly not having been in your daughter's healing circle, but he simply radiates with malicious intent.

“So. You're the alien they spoke of.” the man says, you not able to see his eyes through the cowl. “You're shorter than I thought you'd be.”

Which is kind of ironic, coming from a man roughly half your size. But something about the way this battered, bloodied man carries himself that makes you think he could be trouble. Even with the staggering difference in power.

“Why are you here, General?” he asks directly, you get an uncomfortable feeling he knows more about you than you ever told Superman or J'onn.

Well? How do you answer him?
>Let him in on the truth, you wanted Ubo to meet another of his kind before confronting the one who destroyed their planet to make an unbreakable truce
>Tell him only that you brought Ubo to meet another Kryptonian, say nothing of your own plans

“Why should I tell you anything? I have no idea who you are.” you say, matching scowls with the masked man. “For all I know, you're here to try and kill me. Or pry out as much information from me as possible. But since you know my name, stranger, how about you tell me yours?”
“Hmmm. Fair point. You'd have no reason to trust me, especially since Superman never told you about me.” the man says, you suddenly losing that feeling of imminent danger from him. “Like Superman and J'onn, who you've already met, we're all part of the same planetary organization. An alliance of the most exemplary beings on the planet, brought together to protect it from extraterrestrial dangers. Call me Batman. I'm in charge of the League's funding and technology, as well as our lead investigator.”

“Seems like you need more firepower, if the Kryptonian is your strongest warrior.” you reply, not getting the feeling he's lying to you while sensing no one stronger than Superman across the entirety of the planet. You even sense a hint of pride in this man's voice as he describes this 'league' he's part of. “When the chips are down, everyone can't be reliant on only one man for their survival. They can't protect everyone.”

“Hrmm, sounds like you're speaking from experience.” he says, his insight catching you by surprise. But before you can say anything else, a woman's voice calls out angrily.
“Where is that monster?” she shouts, you and the cowled man turning to see a woman with bird-like wings is the source, wielding a morning star of metal with sparks dancing from the spiked tips. “I am not finished with it!”
“The battle is over, our doom has been averted.” the green-skinned man J'onn says, trying to calm her down. But she's not having any of it, taking to the air with a powerful flap of her wings as she starts looking around, clearly ready for a fight.

“Which is why Superman and I started the League, along with J'onn, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, and Hawkgirl.” Batman continues, as an emerald light appears by everyone else. It flies over, not towards Superman and Ubo, but towards you. You see a dark-skinned man in a uniform of sorts, flying to a stop over both of you.
“So, you're the infamous 'Dragon of New Salda.” the man says, looking you up and down. “You're shorter than I expected.”

Which is rich, coming from someone nearly half your current size.

“And now who are you?” you ask, getting rather tired of asking this question. This man's power is nothing exceptional, in fact the man in the dark cloak before you is noticeably stronger. But there's an uncomfortably somewhat-familiar pressure radiating from his energy cloaking him that you can't sense. But it feels far too similar to the pressure Chaya's divine form exudes for your comfort.

“I'm John Stewart of The Green Lantern Corps, assigned to Sector 2814.” he responds, leveling his glowing ring at you. “Why is the PTO's strongest warrior here, on Earth of all places? The Guardians have a deal with your REAL boss to keep your territorial aggression out of our space, so what do you think you're doing?”

Well? How do you respond to this?
>Tell him that he's welcome for you coming and saving his ass, as well as your daughter healing his injuries before turning your attention back to this 'Batman' character

>Instant Transmission right up by his side, grabbing his wrist before warning him against threatening you OR your family ever again

As the man who is clearly trying to pick a fight glares down at you, you can feel the cowled man's judgmental glare on you. As if he's studying you like an animal in a cage, seeing how it reacts to things. So, instead of letting your bubbling anger out, instead decide to cut this man down a different way.

“You're welcome.” you say simply, catching him by surprise.
“What did you just say?” he asks, floating down a little closer. “Maybe I was too far away to hear you clearly, because I thought I just heard you say-”
“You heard me. You're welcome.” you reiterate, turning fully to face him while staring him down. “Not only did I save a planet that YOU are supposed to protect, my daughter healed all the injuries you sustained failing in your duty to stop that monster. Next time someone saves your sorry ass, try a little gratitude first.”

Then, without waiting for an answer, turn back to face the dark-cloaked man. Who pulls his hand back away from your own, you raising a brow at him.

“Your ring. It's unlike anything I've ever seen.” he says, gesturing down at your wedding band. “What is it made of, if you don't mind me asking?”
“Oh, my wedding ring?” you ask, holding it up so its easier for him to see, you almost FEELING the flying man seething as you've so casually dismissed him. But he doesn't want to start trouble between his organization and the PTO, so he doesn't say anything. “I had it made of Katchin, the strongest material in the universe. So it wouldn't break when my wife or I punch things with them.”
“Interesting. And, from what Superman told me, your transformation changes your body's size. This, 'Katchin', is it naturally an elastic material?”
“No no, had to have my planet's Guardian use her magic on it so it could do that.” you tell him casually, the man awfully interested in your ring's material. “If I remember, I could probably convince Raven to procure some and have it sent your way. Probably with Ubo, next time he comes back.”

“I'd appreciate it.” he replies, you lowering your hand as you can feel the man's attention shift from the ring to you once more. “But what's this about a 'PTO'? The only large-scale organizations outside Earth that I'm familiar with are the Lantern Corps that John's a part of, the Imperium, or whatever's left of it, and a few others. But I've not heard even a whisper of the organization which you represent.”

“The PTO is the ruling faction of the universe, led by Lord Freeza.” you tell them. “After we destroyed the Covenant, Lord Freeza destroying the planet-sized space station High Charity, the last empire strong enough to challenge us was no more. And we've brought most of the civilized universe under our banner.”
“So, this PTO is a meritocracy, based on one's personal power and physical prowess?” he asks, to which you nod. It's a good enough understanding of how it works. “Then as a General, your strength must be in the upper echelons of power then?”

“Yeah. I'm one of the strongest dozen or so beings in the PTO organization. And the strongest Saiyan alive.” you tell him, but then think it over. “Or, maybe still the second strongest. My son surpassed me not too long ago, and I don't think I've caught back up to him just yet.”
“And yet that monster just came out of nowhere, seemingly stronger than Ubo, Superman, or even you, and tried to kill us all.” he says, a hard, dangerous edge to his voice. “Hard to believe you organization doesn't have a hand in this.”
“Look, it's a big universe out there.” you tell him with a sigh, powering back down to your base form. “The wars may have slowed down, but there are always maniacs trying to destroy my home and everything I hold close. Hell, I'd be willing to bet that bastard Nefarious is somehow still out there scheming, despite me killing him twice.”

“Some people just want to watch the world burn.” he says, turning as you sense Caulifla returning with an abnormally high powerlevel for the planet. Not quite as high as the Kryptonians, but are surprised to see a woman smaller than your daughter flying with her. And it seems Batman knows her. “Diana. Good to see you're okay.”
“All thanks to our new friends.” she says, smiling to him while patting your daughter's far more muscular arm before looking you up and down with an appraising eye. “So, you're this General I've heard so much about. You're shorter than I expected.”
“How many times am I going to hear that today?” you mutter, the woman smirking before dropping to the ground before the two of you.

Well? What now?
>Let Batman explain things to her and the others, gather your kids and head back home after telling Ubo that, whenever he's ready, you'll take him to King Cold's

“Well, I usually am.” you reply, turning from the woman to your daughter, going over to her with eyes full of concern. “Everything okay kiddo? I figured you'd be out healing people in the city for a lot longer.”
“I healed everyone who needed it.” she says, her voice sounding more dull than usual. Which immediately draws even MORE concern from you. “There were less casualties than I expected, from how messed up everything back there was.”

“You can thank Superman for that.” the woman says, who is very clearly a warrior. “He puts the people of Metropolis's safety above even his own.”
“Well, that'd explain the shape he was in when I showed up.” you say, acknowledging her before turning back to your daughter. You rest your forehead against hers, whispering to your daughter. “Are you okay?”
“I...I just wish I'd have been able to be here sooner.” she replies, sounding a bit upset. “If I was here even a few minutes sooner, I could have saved hundreds more.”
“You did your best kiddo, their deaths aren't your fault.” you comfort her, hugging your daughter and patting her on the back. “You didn't hurt them.”

And to your surprise, the cowled man of all people walks over, laying a hand on Caulifla's left shoulder. She starts a bit at the touch, turning her head to face him as he speaks.

“The burden is always hardest on those with the power not to fight off evil, but to save those hurt by evil's actions. But such power always comes with a cost, in here.” he says, pointing to his own heart and not touching your daughter's chest. “Just because you can save lives doesn't mean that they all can be saved.”
“If I'd just been up sooner, if I hadn't slept in, I could have-!” she shouts, but the black caped man isn't having it, voice cutting hers off.
“Then you would have just been awake longer back on your own world, blissfully unaware of events transpiring here.” he says, silencing her. “Not every life can be saved. But because of you, because of your powers, more people get to live through what happened today. Everyone you saved gets a second chance, something they wouldn't have gotten were it not for you. Thank you.”

And as the cowled man stops talking and steps back, your daughter is stunned into silence. But after a moment you realize that it isn't only the four of you, but EVERYONE present who stopped what they were doing to listen to this man talk. And you get the feeling that he has that effect more often than not.

They're an okay bunch, but the League (especially Superman)'s stick-in-the-mud moralfaggotry would rub me the wrong way if it imprinted on our children like that. We kill our enemies for a reason.

Yeah I vaguely remember Raven stopping Caulilfa from finishing off an opponent because "ShE IsN't Like ThAt" or similar bullshit which almost immediately got her killed until her stand revived her. “T-Thank you.” your daughter says, blinking quickly a few times to avoid crying in front of so many strangers. Which is when she notices the shape the man's in, how bloody and battered he is. “Here, let me help you. Triumph!”
“KIIIIIIII!!” her Stand caws as it appears, using its tears to heal his injuries as she asks him to show each wound he has. As she fixes his injuries, you suddenly have a thought: how did this being, one who doesn't have much power, manage to survive against such a monstrosity as the one that battled you before?

“I've never seen him so....Talkative.” the woman he called Diana says, standing beside you as your daughter nitpicks his injuries, making sure to heal even small bruises he says are fine. “Your daughter really touched something in him.”
“He seems to be good people.” you reply, turning more to face her. “He have a family of his own?”

But as you ask this the woman's expression darkens, making you wonder if you hit a sore topic. Was there something that happened between the two of them?

“No. Not anymore.” she answers, sounding as if she wants to say more but stops herself. “Let's just say he understands what its like to be a child who grew up too fast, who suffered losses no child should have to.”
“I see.” you say, wondering what these people's standards for such are. Then your next thought is if he'd have any advice for Chilli, after what all your son went through at the hands of that damned clown Stand. But then he finally manages to convince your daughter he's okay, the two walking over. He gives the woman by you an annoyed-seeming look to which she just shrugs, you understanding a lot more than any words were just communicated between them. Did he hear?

“I wanted to thank you as well, Karn.” Superman says before anyone says anything, you all turning to him as he steps forward, uniform still in tatters. “If it wasn't for you, I don't know how we would have stopped that thing.”
“You're welcome, happy to help.” you say, Caulifla looking him over and deciding that his scraps of a suit just won't do. So, she steps up, leveling a finger at the man's tattered clothes and shouts;

“CLOTHES BEAM!”

There's a flash of golden light, and when it fades your daughter has repaired his suit back to how you remember it being back on that ship. Red cape and all. Which shocks the Kryptonian, who looks himself over confused for several seconds.

“How did you....?” he asks her, then shakes his head. “Thank you, Caulifla. I appreciate it.”
“You're welcome.” your daughter replies, her smile brought back by the honest smile and praise from the Kryptonian.
“You can heal the dying, and even create clothes for people? What can't you do?” the woman by your side asks, your daughter turning around a bit shyly as she nervous laughs.
“Well, I can't turn green like my dad when he transforms.” she replies, rubbing the back of her head. But then you sense Okira's ki heading back, along with another. But they're moving fast along the ground, not at an altitude your daughter'd fly at. Turning your head, you see a red blur rapidly approaching you all, immediately clenching your fists and powering back up into your Ascended Berserker form.

“Easy now, that's one of ours.” Superman says, the blur rushing to you all and stopping. Only to reveal a red-suited man holding your daughter Okira on his shoulder, who looks concerned despite the cowl covering most of his face. What is with these people and covering their faces?
“She's in trouble.” the man says, clearly a bit panicked. “She was speaking and just fixing the damage done to the city when she suddenly passed out!”

Well?

“Calm down. Now, I need you to answer me seriously.” you tell him, striding forward and taking your daughter into your arms from him. “Did she finish her task first?”
“What? Man, she just passed out, I do-!”
“Shut UP and listen to me!” you shout back in his face, silencing the red-suited man. “Did she finish what she was doing? Or did she collapse mid-change? This could be the difference between life and death.”
“I...Uhh...Well...” he stammers, uncertain for a second. “When I showed up, everything seemed to have been fixed, there was no evidence of the battle that took place. I came running when people started screaming, and found her lying on the ground unconscious. A couple bystanders told me what happened, and which way Wonder Woman flew.”

“Oh, well then that's good.” you say, sighing out in relief and looking down to your daughter, brushing a stray hair off her face. “When she uses her Stand power excessively, it does tire her out. But as long as the task finished before she passed out, that's fine. It just means she pushed herself to her limit to fix your place.”
“When she wakes up, tell her that we appreciate her hard work.” the woman Diana says, smiling at the sleeping girl in your arms. “Her power to speak what she wants into being is quite extraordinary.”

“Each of my children have their own unique talents.” you tell her, gently caressing your sleeping daughter's face. “I'll tell her. But I should probably get her back to bed.”
“I understand.” the woman says, Ubo looking from you to his fellow Kryptonian and back.
“So, are we headed to King Cold's?” Ubo asks you seriously. “Or do you want to head home first?”
“Wait, you all are leaving already?” Superman asks, sounding genuinely disappointed. “Just clear out the monster and leave?”
“I do have other business to get to, so I can't stay.” you tell him, then look to Ubo.

“It's time.” you tell him simply. To which your giant friend nods, walking towards you while you telepathically tell Chaya to head over your way as she's still talking to the interviewer. But as Ubo's walking to you he's stopped, the Kryptonian grabbing him by the forearm.
“Are you sure you want to do this alone?” he asks, brows furrowed. “I could come along as well, and-”
“Thank you for the offer, but no.” Ubo replies. “I'll handle this myself. And besides, the less of us he knows still lives, the better. I never want Cold to learn of you, much less our cousin from Argo.”
“I understand. Call if you need anything.” Superman says, the two Kryptonians shaking hands while sharing a nod of understanding. Ubo then joins you and your daughters, placing his hand on Caulifla's shoulder while your daughters hold onto your arms, waving their goodbyes as Okira sleeps. You focus your mind on King Cold's power, reaching out to him telepathically before just appearing.

“King Cold, this is Karn. Have you returned to your home?” you ask the emperor's father.
“Karn, there you are. I was starting to wonder if the Kryptonian had gotten cold feet.” comes Cold's reply. “But yes, I have been waiting for you both.”
“Alright, we're headed your way.” you tell him, ending the telepathic link and focusing. Then, with a moment's concentration, activate your Instant Transmission. One moment you're standing with Superman and his allies, the next find yourself back in King Cold's throne room. Standing at the foot of the steps leading up to his ancient throne.

“There you are. I was starting to wonder if-Hold on. What happened?” he asks, noticing Caulifla, Chaya, and Okira all there with you. But just before you're about to explain, Ubo speaks up.
“An old friend called up, having trouble with a monster he couldn't fight.” Ubo says smoothly. “So, we took it down and fixed his planet back up afterwards.”
“I see.” King Cold says, eyes narrowing slightly. “So, I take it you all wish to be witnesses?”
“Sorry, but I gotta head back.” your eldest Chaya says, letting go of you and raising her hand to her forehead. “I have an uppity goddess to put back in her place.”
“Good luck kiddo.” you tell her, Chaya smiling before vanishing once more. Headed back to Dreadzone no doubt. But she wouldn't have just left a rematch with Tanya, in fact she hadn't told you when that was happening yet. So you wonder what exactly she means? But with no answers here you shake your head, refocusing on what's happening here and now. “Alright, it's time.”

“I have taken the liberty of drawing up simple terms for our agreement, should you agree to them.” King Cold says, gesturing to a small pedestal at the base of the stairs before his throne. To which Ubo immediately walks over, looking the device over and scrolling through its words. “I believe them to be more than fair.”

No one says anything as Ubo reads over the contract, but then after nearly a minute he sets the device down, looking directly into King Cold's eyes.

“No. There are far too many loopholes in that deal to ever be enforced properly.” Ubo replies, surprising King Cold. And you as well. “I have a far better deal.”
“Oh? Tell me, what this 'better deal' entails.” King Cold says, sounding more than a little bit smug.
“This truce is simple. I, Ubo of New Salda, will never in any way attack you or your sons, or their offspring or any other members of your race from this timeline. If, and only if, you agree to honor the same terms. That you, King Cold, will never in any way attack me or any of my my kin of this timeline in any way either.” he says, you seeing King Cold furiously thinking. No doubt understanding that he'd gone to help a fellow Kryptonian. “That neither of us shall try, directly or indirectly, to maim or injure either of our remaining people's bloodlines unprovoked.”

Everyone is silent at his proposal, you looking to your friend and wondering just how many of Raven's books he has read. You can't see any room for trickery or backstabbing, until King Cold speaks.

“Very ironclad, I see you've studied law in your time away from the Saiyans. But are you sure you wish to bind our two people's destinies so tightly?” he asks, to which Ubo nods. “As long as either of us draws breath, as long as one of us yet lives, this treaty will remain. Are you certain about this?”
“Quite sure.” Ubo replies, steadfast. “This is about the future, not our peoples' pasts. You may have wronged my kind, and for that I will never forgive you. But, if by casting aside my desire for vengeance I can protect those of my kind that are left, to make you and your clan allies to me and my remaining kind, I will gladly do so. The house of Cold and the sons of Krypton will not wage war on each other, under penalty of being stripped of all abilities and reduced to a maximum powerlevel of five.”
“Very well. Then, let us make the contract.” King Cold says, rising from his throne and walking down the steps until he draws level with Ubo. In his fourth form King Cold is a head shorter than your Kryptonian friend, but he without hesitation offers his hand. Which Ubo takes.

“Now, Karn. Use this 'Dragon's Pact' of yours, and make this deal official.” King Cold says to you, not taking his eyes from Ubo's.
“Very well.” you say, summoning the Stand bound to your right arm. Divine Dragon Force immediately wrapping around both their arms once you lay your hand atop theirs. “Are you both ready?”
“Ready.” Ubo replies.
“Yes yes, let's get on with it.” King Cold replies, to which you nod to them both. Then, with Divine Dragon Force's eyes focused on you, you speak.

“Ubo of New Salda, and King Cold of the PTO, will never in any way attack each other or their respective sons, daughters, or their offspring or any other members of each other's race from this timeline.” you speak, focused entirely on getting the words of the pact correct. “That neither of them shall try, directly or indirectly, to maim or injure either of each other's remaining people's bloodlines unprovoked. Under penalty of being stripped of all abilities and reduced to a maximum powerlevel of five.”

“The promise has been made.” Divine Dragon Force says, looking over to Ubo, then King Cold as it speaks. “Do you both accept?”
“Yes.” Ubo replies simply.
“I accept.” King Cold replies, the draconic Stand nodding.
“The terms have been set and the deal is struck.” Divine Dragon Force says, eyes glowing and then flashing blindingly bright. And once the light fades, you see that the dragon is no longer holding any of you. King Cold pulls his right hand away first, looking over it curiously.

“Well then, I believe our business is concluded.” King Cold tells Ubo, then turns to you. “Now, as for you. I believe that you wanted to see this?”

And he holds up the ancient stone dagger, the one that gives beings Stands if they survive being stabbed by it.

“Appreciate it, but not yet.” you tell him, to which King Cold's brows furrow a bit. “Not until Divine Dragon Force returns, at least.”
“Returns?” he asks you, the confusion clear on his face. Returns from where?”
“Once Divine Dragon Force uses this Dragon's Pact ability, I am not able to call the Stand forth for some time.” you tell him, remembering how the rescue mission went. “It will no longer be a part of me, combining with the two of you while it constructs the Pact Guardians.”

“Pact Guardians?” Ubo asks you, you explaining how, once the guardian is constructed it will be a part of them, speaking up if either of them is about to break the pact with a final warning. And that, if they choose to proceed, it shall then exact the price.
“However, I haven't actually SEEN it exact the cost of breaking the truce before, as Lobo wasn't THAT stupid.” you continue. “The threat of death was enough to stop him in his place.”
“So, what you're saying is, that even should either of us forget the exact terms of the alliance, this 'Pact Guardian' shall remind us the terms and get confirmation we wish to break the pact before it shall exact its cost?” King Cold ask, to which you nod affirmative. “Hrmmm, interesting.”

“Daddy, why did you want that dagger?” Caulifla suddenly speaks up, you turning to face your daughter. Can't each person only have one Stand?”
“Normally yes, from what Joseph told me.” you tell her, looking down from her to your right hand. “But what if a Stand isn't truly your own, but....Grafted to you? Could you obtain another?”
“Wait, what?” your daughter asks, eyes wide as you turn back to her.
“Divine Dragon Force wasn't mine, not originally.” you tell her, as well as King Cold and Ubo who no doubt hear you. And anyone listening in to your timeline. “It was gifted to me, by another.”

“So, you were wanting to see if you could double up, getting double the power?” Ubo asks, but King Cold has a different idea.
“No, not double the power. Double the special abilities. Especially that Wish power.” King Cold says, a malicious, conniving grin coming to his face as he understands the implications. “And now, while your Stand is away and no longer preventing you from gaining another, would be the perfect time to put this to the test!”

And blurs towards you, knife extended towards your chest under your daughter's still-sleeping form.

“KARN!” Ubo shouts, dashing over and shoving you aside before you can ever react. And taking the knife blow to the gut in your place. But instead of hearing the blade tearing flesh, or perhaps shattering against him, as you fall you see the oddest thing. The point of the knife, of the black dagger made of a single piece of carved stone, bends. Curving away from Ubo, striking him with the flat of the blade instead of the point or an edge. Leaving you all stunned.

“Wh-What?!” King Cold exclaims, shocked. Ubo looks down, and to his obvious surprise is shocked he wasn't stabbed. Okira runs over, her Stand Triumph cawing as it appears, only to gasp as she sees the same thing. Somehow, the dagger avoided stabbing Ubo. He then pulls the blade back, slowly pressing it towards the Kryptonian's sternum. But as the point gets close, once again the blade bends, avoiding him. “Is this part of that pact as well?”

Ubo snatches the blade from Cold's hand, and curious, presses the stone blade towards his chest as well. But again, the same thing happens, the knife bending away from his body.

“What is this?” Ubo asks, raising the dagger to eye level and looking it over. “Stone shouldn't move like that.”
“Daddy?” Okira asks you drowsily, the impact no doubt waking her up. “Whass goin....?”
“Shhh, go back to bed kiddo. Everything's fine.” you tell her, gently patting her back. Your daughter yawns and snuggles into your chest, eyes closing as you rise back up to your feet. Glaring daggers at King Cold, who is looking down at his own right hand curiously.
“Why didn't your guardian stop me?” he asks, looking from his hand to you. “Does intent truly matter that much?”
“It's probably not finished yet, took at least ten minutes to make the first one on that Lobo bastard.” you tell him, forcing your anger out of your voice while speaking to him. “Why in the hell did you try and stab me with it? I already told you I'll wait.”

“Come now Karn, you can't tell me the thought of having TWO of your Stand, having double the wishes is not appealing to you.” he replies, holding a hand out to Ubo. Who gives the knife back, still looking more confused than anything. “Imagine it. Always having one active, the other using a Wish every time it comes active. You could have everything you've ever wanted, right at your fingertips!”

And once more, King Cold offers the ancient Stand-granting stone dagger to you.

And that's it for this weekend's episode, everyone enjoying the ride? Ready to see how this plays out, and what will happen once Divine Dragon Force returns to your side? Curious what Caulifla will think of all this, as well as what Chaya will decide to do with the Red Knight? All this and more, next weekend when this episode of Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues!

Good catch anon, but too late to correct. Glad you enjoyed.

Cold. What part of time travel nonsense do you not fucking understand. There is no guarantee it would even be the same stand. It could be like Dragon Force before it got the wish granting skill, it could even be a wholly different skill. It could even compromise the deal while it's being made. I just got done talking with Freeza about his impulses please lead by example.
>>
>>5644231
I'm more curious if the Stand dagger outright rejects Kryptonian species period. This is Bizarre, maybe it requires someone with limits to break, so a Kryptonian is off the table.

>I just got done talking with Freeza about his impulses
Where do you think he gets it from?

>>5644282

>>
>>5644289
I am once again reminded of how nebulous and vague any descriptions of Frost Demon reproduction are despite clearly being able to reproduce somehow.
I have no idea if Frieza even has a mother. For all we know he could have been a basketball sized egg that Cold shat out on a whim.
>>
>>5644294
I like to think that they artificially clone themselves. Since we've got lizard men in the Time Patrol running around that explicitly DONT have the Cold Family's ability to transform 15 million times, its not that big of a stretch to accept that they're genetic freaks of nature and probably can't reproduce normally. Cooler and Freeza are test tube babies baybee
>>

>>
>>5644321
>>5644282
Fair point, walked into it like Ubo.
>>
I'm conflicted.
On one hand, all this buildup implies to me that stabbing ourselves with the arrow would atleast do SOMETHING, even if it's not the thing we want. On the other hand, the door symbolism makes me think we've lost our shot for some reason, probably because the arrow thinks we aren't convicted enough.

I forget where I'm going with this, but I think cold is acting as our last chance to back out and take the stab. Personally, I'd do it. even if it means DDF becomes Dragonforce Requiem. Especially, if im being honest. 'Least we'd have a powerset we could use to the fullest.
>>
With DDF being as fucking amazingly useful as it is, I'm not sure why we're risking ruining it for some unknown prize.

>Maybe we get a new Stand, maybe we just fucking die (that's a possibility with this knife, right? Or is that only if it stabs you in the vitals; hand-stab is no big deal?).
>Maybe we keep both; maybe we lose DDF and only have this new one.
>Maybe this new one is good, but maybe it's meh. And if we lose DDF in exchange for gaining this meh new one, I'll be pissed with you lot.

A bird in the hand and all that, and to me it seems like we have a god-killer in hand and we're saying, "Yeah bro, I totally want to risk it for a chance at what's inside of the mystery box!"
>>
>>5644521
I can’t say, as I don’t want to be seen as either pushing for one outcome over another. But also don’t want to spoil the possibilities and lead anons to just making the “best” optimization choice with OOC knowledge. Such a conundrum.
>spoiler
How can you get a Requiem Stand when you’re currently Stand-less?
>>5644533
Fair points and argument. While the blow COULD be fatal, Caulifla’s right there. King Cold would have had to brain you with it for her to not be able to save your life. IC you know Divine Dragon Force is a power even Mechikabura had to tread cautiously around, it even killed a SKoT.
>>
>>5644533
I'm saying wait for the deal to finish popping before doing shit, at worst we dont cut it, at best we get a second Stand, I think we offer DDF the choice of stabbing himself or Karn. But on his opposite hand of course.
>>
Alright, lets say that getting the shot--oops I mean arrow-- miraculously doesn't fuck with the Dragon's Pact. Its still could alter DDF's abilities by causing it to mutate or something. We didnt unlock every secret of Dragonforce when we accidentally installed the divine update. And as broken and really damn handy DDF is, I still miss Dragon's Glare and the other old techs. That, and I dont want to go behind DDF's back like that. Sounds unwise to be on rocky terms with a being thats attached to you seemingly 24/7.
>>
>>5644585
DDF mutating is what's going to happen if we stab ourselves after he comes back. I don't want to lose his current powers, they're too good. If we stab ourselves NOW, we'll just get a second Stand, different from DDF, because we're not the other Karn, we are forging our own path.
>>
I do think if we're going to try it, now is the time to do it; while DDF is not 'with us' and is therefore less likely to be altered by the knife working its powers upon us. The separation might allow him to remain unaltered and then 're-attach' to us (again, unaltered) once he's done doing his pact stuff to Ubo and Cold, regardless of whether or not we have (another) stand at that point in time. After all, he's currently 'with' Cold, even though Cold has a stand.
>>
There are 2 ways to get a second stand: either you're a part of some esoteric exception(body stealing/2 souls) or the stand forces itself upon you(anubis, superfly, cheap trick). DDF is clearly the latter, as per Other-Karn's dying wish.

Additionally, Dragonforce is exceptionally adept at forcing itself upon people: thats why chaya has a dragonforce of her own. It's literally the fundamental principle of the dragon's pact(albiet by making clones). And King Cold proves that having a stand doesn't offer any resistance to this.

So if we stabbed ourselves now, got a stand, and had to trust DDF to make his way back? I'd bet my bottom dollar on it
>>
Y'all worry too much. Hit DDF himself directly with the knife and get a Biblically Accurate Dragonforce instead. Bet.
>>
I hope GD gives us extra time to choose if we're still conflicted about these arrow shenanigans.

But I want to ask everybody first: what exactly do we want out of this arrow? Do we want to change Divine Dragonforce, or do we want to double up on Stands?
>>
>>5644901
Doubling seems like the most practical, as it means we can regrow a new DDF at worst but can still fight Mechi in the worst case scenario. But I do want to see what happens if we us it on DDF right now. I'm trying to go through the old chapters because we got a spoiler epilogue a long time ago about this incident. Where we got stabbed and got DDF for it, so changing things here to not repeat things feels like a good idea.
>>
>>5644918
Alright, if doubling up on stands are the way people want to go, the best chance would be to do it now, while DDF is away, and to specifically stab on our left wrist, the opposite arm of DDF.

The other us's dying wish was for Divine Dragonforce to bind to him in this timeline and help us with our choices. And since the time we chose the Godzilla planet to invade at the very first installment, it has always been with us. Even when we used the wish and it became dormant, and the time DDF was busy making the pact, it came back. And if you see here >>5644542 in the spoiler, we are Standless, presumably for the time being. DDF really only changed into its Divine form when it directly received energy via Dragon's Glare, and hasn't mutated since. What I'm trying to say is that it'll be extremely hard, if not outright impossible to remove DDF from our being without using some real bullshit like Dragonballs, and the time our Stand evolved was under a specific circumstance where it was specifically given energy

I'm GUESSING that DDF will only change when theres a direct stimuli. If its directly stabbed by the arrow, I bet something funky will happen. But it we don't want that, then the arrow should be on the LEFT wrist, so if a new stand does appear it won't be hosted in the same resting place as DDF and potentially alter it. Most importantly, we're putting faith in DDF that it will return to us when its finished with the pact, so long as we're alive. And considering all the bullshit it's endured, and how it came to save our ass at the eleventh hour, I believe that faith is well placed.

I'll be going for the option to take the Stand Arrow right now and stabbing it on our Left Wrist in the next session.
>>
Alright stick with me as I go through my train of thought
>Stands can manifest as a result of exposure to a mysterious virus (look it up)
>Samples of said virus on "Earth" are only found at the site of a meteorite impact
>Ore from said meteorite was fashioned into a 6 arrow heads, thus creating The Arrows
And now we go back further...
>Cold destroyed a planet populated almost entirely by Stand Users some time ago
>Fragments of planets destroyed by Cold have been known to impact other planets (for example; Krypton's destruction and the ensuing proliferation of Kryptonite throughout the Galaxy)
Fast forward now...
>An artifact made of an unknown mineral and capable of granting Stands to certain individuals made it it's way to Covenant territory before their dissolution at the hands of Lord Frieza
To that end, I'm pretty sure non-natural Stand Users might be slightly more common across the Galaxy than we were led to believe.
>>
You know, it’s kind of fucked up how weak you could make the universe’s strongest spellcasters with a single spell. Feeblemind is insane.
>Reduce intelligence and charisma to 1
Just hit ‘em with it before their guard is up and you basically won the fight if they’re a DYEL like babidi. And if their guard IS up, you just need enough people in your ganksquad casting it simultaneously that counterspelling and wards become a nonfactor.
I guess you could also always try antimagic field but that one isn’t as funny as a beam that turns people retarded.
>>
>>5644978
Now, the thing is I vaguely remember that timeline trying while the Pact was mid creation, and it scuffed the deal thus fucking Ubo over horrendously. Which is my biggest concern, but I do agree that if we did so on our opposite hand, this would be the best time for us....unless we use a Wish right after so he goes dormant?

That’s a plan, if the dagger would even accept Karn OR Divine Dragon Force.
>>5644585
You mean dagger. Which unlocks the Stand of one who has yet to awaken one, or alters the Stand of one who already has one(if it chooses them to do so).
That’s a decent concern.
>>5644587
>If we stab ourselves NOW, we'll just get a second Stand, different from DDF, because we're not the other Karn
That’s what you assume will happen.
>>5644591
A reasoned argument.
>>5644606
Yes, DDF isn’t technically “your” Stand, as its part of the other Karn’s soul that merged with your own.
True. But, I want to clarify, Future Chaya’s Dragon Force is an offshoot of your DDF. As that Chaya comes from a branching timeline of your own after the point it attached to you. However, Ace’s divine ki could NOT spark her Stand into becoming DDF.
It is possible. Or DDF could potentially be prevented from returning by a new Stand’s abilities, or even potentially consumed by it. After all, not all Stands are created equal. Some even directly harm the users.
>>5644624
>biblically accurate
Ha. But what purpose would Dragon Force Requirm be created for, here and now?

>>
>>5645038
>They’re a crazy paranoid lot, always on edge
I probably would be crazy paranoid too, if I knew there were spells out there that could make me defenseless (feeblemind) and then steal my body (magic jar) out there.

Valid point
>As that Chaya comes from a branching timeline of your own after the point it attached to you. However, Ace’s divine ki could NOT spark her Stand into becoming DDF.
Which means Berserk ki is required plus absorbing God ki for the transformation.

There are two types of illusion magic: construct and mental. Construct illusions are basically holograms, whereas mental illusion magic makes only the target see what the mind mage wants them to. Luckily Karn’s immune to the second, thanks to Towa.

Not necessarily. There’s another factor at work. But it is dur to the split. Karn gave her an INCOMPLETE Dragon Force.

Requiem Stands are created due to a need, not a desire. And currently you have no need. Even Killer Queen’s Requiem came about because the arrow could sense his need and desperation.

>>5645521
Addendum, would he be able to make a spell based around the various armor techniques and spells... What would a 'Chaos Armor' spell do?

Would it divorce him from space and time enough to make him immune to those two aspects being manipulated? Would it work like that one asshole from Jujutsu Kaisen's 'you can't touch me' barrier?
>>
>>5645568
>what would a Chaos armor spell
More than likely end the caster. Even making his Chaos Space is exceedingly difficult, had he messed it up against Ainz it would have ripped him limb from limb, best-case scenario before “The Goal of All Life is Death” ended him. But he KNEW he was marked for death thanks to his patron’s powers, and had to try something.
At his current growth, such a spell is maybe twenty years away.
>>
>>5646425
would tgoalid work on divine beings. is ainz technically capable of killing the pink bitch?
>>
>>5646569
If he could land it, yes. But that skill has its downsides. It only works if, at the end of the countdown, the caster is still alive AND the target of Instant Death Magic is in the same dimension. Not to mention spell negates, target shifting abilities, etc. It is a dangerous ability, but hardly unbeatable.

Noticed something interesting: it seems that GD retconned the exact time Babidi took control of Dabura. According to what I read online, it happened in Age 474 before the Saiyans even arrived on Planet Vegeta. Which is pretty weird and also doesn't explain why Babidi just sat on his hands waiting for canon to happen when he had a guy stronger than Freeza and could basically bully anyone in the universe with Dabura's power and gather energy

Hey GD, I want to ask a question. I know that over the course of this quest, the players have thrown curveballs that drastically affected the trajectory of this quest, most notably the fact that the Saiyans survived the planet exploding while also unlocking Freeza's friendship tree, but I want to know what you THOUGHT would most likely happen back when the quest was still fairly new, broadly speaking ofc.
>>
>>5648254
That’s a deep question. I’d though, before posting episode 1 that I wouldn’t get attached, that we’d bounce from team to team as each one was wiped out before watching Planet Vegeta’s destruction. But we’ve wildly deviated, I grew quite attached to the crew immediately. Episode 5 solidified it for me. After that, anon’s “60 more” stuck in my head and I started crafting the larger world and story.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

With the defeat of the monster attacking Superman's adopted homeworld, Karn spent some time with the Kryptonian's allies before taking Ubo with him to King Cold's planet along with his daughters Caulifla and Okira. Once there, the emperor's father agrees to a pact of peace with Ubo, the two agreeing to not harm either themselves or any of their kin. Karn's Divine Dragon Force uses its Dragon's Pact ability to make their truce unbreakable, but as we rejoin Karn, King Cold tried to attack YOU with the ancient Stand-giving stone dagger. But Ubo shoved you out of the way, prepared to take the hit for you. Yet the dagger didn't pierce him, the stone blade bending to avoid cutting him.

King Cold stands there, still offering you the stone dagger to you. His offer of having a second of your Stand is tempting, if you could get a second Divine Dragon Force it would double your power and potential. But as everyone looks on silently, suddenly Caulifla of all people speaks up.

“Are you sure about that?” Caulifla asks, you and King Cold both looking over to her. And she's looking with concern down at the dagger. “I was just talking to Joseph, and he doesn't think that's how it works.”
“Joseph?” King Cold asks, you realizing that your daughter was reaching out to the man who'd first taught you a lot of what you know of Stands. And that King Cold is, somehow, unaware of him. “Who is this?”
“Joseph Joestar. The grandfather of that Jotaro guy, the one who fought Kars.” your daughter replies, King Cold realizing who she means and nodding once in understanding. “He knows more about Stands than anyone. He and Jotaro have been hunting down a bow and arrow on their world, the arrowheads made of some meteor ore that crashed to their planet a long time ago that gives people Stands, like that dagger.”

“It would have to have been no more than seven fifty, maybe eight hundred years ago.” King Cold says, Ubo turning to glare at the ancient king with barely-restrained rage. No doubt understanding the implications of King Cold's sentence. “But it seems that I was right.”
“Right about what?” Okira asks, not understanding.
“I was right to destroy the planet these powers originated from.” King Cold says, rather proudly. “Had Babidi gained these abilities, or worse absorbed them to give to his pet monster Majin Buu, the entire universe would have been destroyed.”

“How many?” Ubo snarls, unable to restrain his fury any more. “How many worlds have you erased, monster?”
“I've erased more civilizations than years you've been alive, boy.” King Cold declares, Ubo clenching his fists so tight you can hear the joints pop audibly. “And I would do it again. You may not like the actions I took, but it worked. Every choice I made led to Majin Buu being defeated without destroying the universe, hell without losing even a single planet this time. Unless you can go back in time, undo everything I did and we STILL get to this outcome, I will NOT accept your emotional criticisms.”

Which does seem to calm Ubo down, his flaring crimson aura fading away as he slowly exhales through his teeth, forcing himself to physically relax. The tension hangs over the room like a fog. King Cold is still holding the dagger out towards you, Divine Dragon Force still not back yet as it continues making the Pact Guardians on Ubo and King Cold.

“I'll accept.” you tell King Cold, reaching out and taking the stone dagger from him with your right hand. You can feel everyone watching as you point it at your left wrist, as if catching an incoming attack as Divine Dragon Force had told you happened to its Karn. Then you swing, the edge slamming into your-

TINK

“Huh?” you say, looking down curiously as it doesn't pierce your flesh. Realizing that you're probably too powerful for it to actually cut you you transform back down into your base form, sighing out as you lower your powerlevel even further. Your power plummets, dropping down lower and lower as you draw the blade back once more. You're ready to thrust it into yourself once more, taking a deep breath in before swinging the blade once more. With your power reduced by several magnitudes, you expect the dagger to pierce through you much easier. The blade flies at your wrist once more, you consciously lowering your power as far as you can to allow it to pierce through your flesh. But once more, as the blade strikes your flesh, the dagger can't penetrate.

TINK

“What is going on?” you mutter, turning your hand over and laying the edge on your palm, sliding it across to cut your flesh. But the stone knife simply refuses to cut you. You turn to King Cold, confused. “This is the real knife, isn't it?”
“Of course it is, I wouldn't have tried to stab you with a fake one.” he answers, looking as confused as you feel. You turn to Caulifla, who no doubt has Joseph still on, and ask her.
“Does Joseph have any idea what this means?” you ask her, to which she almost immediately replies.
“He has no idea.” she answers, looking just as confused. “Maybe you can't do it to yourself, and someone else has to be the one to do it?”
“I hadn't considered that.” you reply, handing the dagger back to King Cold and holding up your left hand, palm towards him. “Hit me right on the wrist, as if trying to stab into my arm.”

Wordlessly King Cold complies, and once more the dagger makes that stone-on-stone clinking noise, the tip skating off your palm harmlessly. Catching the emperor's father by surprise, throwing him off balance. Sending him staggering for a second, the blade going past you. And right for....Caulifla!

“Shit!” King Cold snarls, unable to stop himself as the dagger flies straight for your daughter! Just how hard did he swing?
“Triumph!” your daughter shouts, her Stand appearing between herself and King Cold. Just in time for the stone dagger to stab her Stand straight through its chest!
“Cauli!” you call in worry, her Stand freezing in place. Then, to your and everyone's shock, cracks of light begin spreading from the point of impact with cracking noises. “Oh no.”

And then her Stand shatters, golden light radiating out from where her Stand was standing as pieces of its body explode out in all directions.

“Triumph? Triumph!” Caulifla cries out in terror as you shield your own eyes, the light blindingly bright. But then it starts to fade, you lower your arm to see the aftermath. Only to see that her Stand has....Changed.
“Woah...!” Okira says, your youngest daughter looking at her sister's new Stand. It looks more humanoid than it did before, but still clearly bird-like. Flames come from the back of its head almost like hair, the creature's eyes looking over each and all of you in turn. It is a bit smaller than Triumph's previous form, but something gives you the feeling that this is quite.... Extraordinary. You can almost see the being's intelligence behind its deep blue eyes, matching the seeming-gemstone at the base of its neck.

“Truimph?” Caulifla asks, the Stand turning its head towards her.
“Caulifla.” it says, voice very woman-like as it turns fully towards and addresses your daughter. But, to your surprise, it seems that even Ubo can see her Stand now as he's staring right at it wide-eyed. What in the world happened? “I am no longer Triumph. Call me...Triumph Requiem.”

Well? What now?

“Triumph Requiem?” you ask, the Stand turning its head towards you.
“Ah, the father. Yes?” the Stand says, turning around. “You wish to ask me something?”
“I do. I know what you, or your previous form could do.” you say, looking from the Stand to your daughter and back. “And how you could protect her. But how will you do so now?”
“I... Do not know.” it replies, turning from you to your daughter, the Stand's expression growing rather concerned before turning back. It then looks over you all, gaze settling on King Cold. “You. Try and attack her, so I may activate my powers.”

“What?” you reply, jaw dropping a bit at how little apparent concern the Stand shows for her safety.
“Very well.” King Cold says without hesitation, raising his right hand and pointing a finger at your daughter. Then, before you can intervene, he fires. There is a flash of light, but once it fades, you can see that your daughter is fine. More than fine. “What?”

You see that the golden Stand is now gone, or rather, no longer in its body-like form. Instead, the Stand has joined with your daughter. But instead of turning them both into living flame, Caulifla is now encased in brilliantly shining golden armor. It even has her Stand's wings from her lower back, same as Triumph Requiem as she looks down at herself.

“Woah.” Caulifla says, looking at her gold-covered hands. “How did you...?”
“I was created by your desire for protection.” the Stand answers, its jaws around her head moving while it talks. “I do not yet know what all I can do.”
“Interesting.” King Cold says, looking your daughter and her Stand armor over. “Now, let's see how you can handle this. UNDER PRESSURE!”

His Stand emerges from behind him, slamming its fists together. Immediately the gravity in the room increases hundreds of times, slamming down onto you and nearly knocking you to the ground. But your worry isn't for yourself, but Okira! You see your youngest daughter slammed to the ground, the stone cracking as her head slams down to it. Eyes rolled back up in her head, clearly unconscious. Caulifla turns at the noise, and seeing her sister dropped snarls.

“Help her!” Caulifla calls out, pointing to her sister.
“I cannot.” Triumph Requiem replies, Caulifla turning a furious glare on the emperor's father.
“Hurt him for that.” she says through gritted teeth, her Stand's azure eyes flashing bright blue.
“Understood.” it replies, drawing both wings back and swinging them forward. Unleashing a massive wall of fire directly at King Cold.

“What?!” he exclaims, unable to move before the wall of fire slams into him. Launching both him and his Stand into the steps leading up to his throne. Her Stand's fires scorches the staircase and Cold himself, as well as his Stand. He actually screams out in pain, writhing in agony as her Stand's flames burn him. His enhanced gravity disappears as if it never were while he burns. But then, your daughter raises a hand, the flames extinguishing instantly. She doesn't check on King Cold, instead rushing over to Okira's side as the rest of you look on, still shellshocked.

“Can you heal her?” Caulifla asks her Stand, which reappears off of her and standing beside your daughter with another flash of light.
“Let me try.” it says, kneeling down next to your daughters. Once more it lets tears fall, dripping down onto Okira's unconscious cheeks. But, unfortunately, nothing happens. “I don't think I can. Not how I used to.”
“Okay.” Cauli says, taking her chime in hand and muttering to herself, a golden magical circle appearing on the ground around the three of them. Caulifla uses her usual healing magic with the ringing of the bell while King Cold unsteadily pushes himself upright, his body covered in burns. Even his Stand itself seems scorched, the emperor's father looking in surprisingly rough shape. But then he starts looking around, confused.

“Where did it go?” he asks, looking around the room. “Where did that stone dagger go?”
“It has become a part of me.” Triumph Requiem says, rising back up to its feet and turning to face him as Caulifla while gesturing to itself. And you see, there on its forehead is the shape of the knife in gold. As if the weapon is embedded in her Stand's skull.
“Well, give it back.” King Cold says, a hard edge to his voice. “You no longer need it.”
“I cannot. The dagger is a part of my being now.” the Stand replies, King Cold's eyebrow twitching once in clear annoyance.

Well? What now?

You watch them stare off for a moment before your brain kicks back into gear, you turning back to your daughters. You kneel down beside Okira, looking her over as Caulifla gently lifts her. She cradles Okira's neck as she rolls her over onto her back then picks her up. Okira closes her eyes, mumbling as she then slowly opens them.

“S-Sis?” she asks, sounding a big groggy. “Whaaa...?”
“You okay?” she asks, Okira looking from your sister to you, confused.
“Huh? Y-yeah?” she replies, still confused. “Did something happen?”
“Don't you remember?” you ask her, hearing King Cold saying something to Caulifla's Stand. She clearly hears whatever he said, her head snapping around towards King Cold while your attention is entirely on your youngest daughter.
“No?” she says, suddenly looking worried. “Di-did something happen?”

“King Cold got you with his Stand.” you say, taking your daughter from her sister's arms as she stands up, turning fully towards King Cold as you start listening to them as well. “But it's okay.
“If YOU hadn't tried to stab ME with it, you'd still have your little knife!” Caulifla calls back, a note of anger in her voice. “Because of you, Triumph lost its ability to help other people and heal their injuries! For that, you can suffer with those burns, because I'm not helping you!”

“You insolent-!” King Cold starts, clenching his fists and letting his pale aura start to come to life with a whisper around him. But your daughter isn't backing down, clenching her fists and Ascending in a burst of sparks.
“Protect me.” Caulifla calls to her Stand, it flashing into that same suit of armor around her once more before addressing him again. “You hurt my sister, and took away one of my ways to help her and countless others. This is the LEAST you deserve.”

But instead of arguing his point with her, King Cold turns to you.

“Are you going to permit her to speak to me in such a manner?” he asks you, a note of venom in his voice. “Or will you disrespect me as well?”
“So far she hasn't said anything disrespectful, King Cold.” you answer calmly, seeing the anger on his face. “Were my daughter to speak out of line, I would correct her. But everything I've heard has been true. You DID attack my youngest daughter right in front of my eyes, even if she wasn't your target. Much as Caulifla wasn't your target but you still would have stabbed her.”

He's left speechless at that, opening and closing his mouth a few times before he finally manages to find his voice.

“We're done here. Leave.” King Cold says curtly, crossing his arms. “Should I have need of you, Karn, I shall call.”

Focusing on King Vegeta's ki, which is surprisingly alone, you focus and teleport yourself, Ubo, and your daughters all to his side. Appearing before him as he's in his private gravity chamber. The weight lands on you all, but with it not even being a hundred times New Salda's gravity, much less the hundreds of times King Cold's Under Pressure slammed down, you all remain standing easily. Okira grunts as the weight lands on her chest, but otherwise seems fine to you.

“Karn, Ubo.” King Vegeta says, squatting down with a bar across his shoulders, weights larger than he is on them as the bar bends under the pressure. “Caulifla. Nice armor.”
“Greetings, King Vegeta.” Caulifla's Stand says, startling him so badly he drops the weights, stepping back and ascending into his Primal form instantly. “We can finally converse.”
“It talks. Why does your armor talk?” Vegeta asks her, Caulifla saying to separate. And with a flash of light they do, Vegeta looking from her to her Stand's form in shock. “Oh, so this is Triumph.”
“I am Triumph Requiem.” her Stand says, and to your surprise gives a quite accurate Saiyan salute to the king.

“It's, well. Kind of a long story.” you say, King Vegeta returning the gesture with her Stand before looking to you questioningly. Quickly you sum up the morning's events, starting with Ubo's arrival and ending with leaving King Cold's place. Your king's countenance darkens as he hears how you all left, looking to her Stand's head and confirming the dagger's there himself before your tale is through. Okira wants let down as you talk, letting her go. She drops to all fours in the intense gravity, but with a couple grunts of exertion manages to stand on her own two feet, walking and stumbling about the room like a toddler.

“You've had quite the morning.” King Vegeta IV says neutrally once you've finished your tale, turning to Caulifla and her Stand. “You're telling me you've lost your ability to heal my people?”
“As far as I can tell, yes.” Triumph Requiem says, sounding rather dejected. “My tears no longer have the ability to heal others' injuries.”
“That is an unfortunate loss for all of our people.” he tells the golden Stand. “But I hope you will continue to use all of your abilities for the benefit of our people.”
“I will do my best.” Triumph Requiem says, nodding to King Vegeta.

After your meeting with the king you all get out of his way, leaving his private training chamber behind. Ubo goes off to the Guardian's Island to talk with Raven, you taking your daughters and heading home. Just in time, it seems, as once you arrive you can sense Meloka and most of your other children there in the ship's mess hall. You, Caulifla, her Stand and Okira all walk in together, everyone turning to look at Caulifla's new and possibly improved Stand as they walk in first. Once again you and Caulifla explain the morning's goings on to the others, Meloka seeming quite annoyed at what happened.

“And you didn't think to tell me this was happening?” she asks you telepathically. “And why did you take our youngest daughter along?”
“Well, I hadn't planned on anything like this happening.” you tell her. “And I kept her safe and away from those monsters.”
“Except the biggest one.” she replies, an image of King Cold flashing from her mind to yours. “That bastard tried to end our daughter. And now Caulifla's Stand lost its healing powers too, all because of him.”

“It's unfortunate, but maybe this new form will have new powers.” you reply, trying to keep optimistic. “After all, we don't know what all it can do besides becoming a suit of near-impenetrable armor for Caulifla. And she still has her other healing powers too.”
“...I don't like it.” Meloka replies, in a tone that's clear she wants to end the conversation. So you drop it, sitting beside her and starting your own breakfast, which you devour. While eating, you unwrap your tail from around your own waist, wrapping it around Meloka's and pulling your wife to you. Which does get her to crack a smile, you smiling back through a mouthful of food. All too soon Silver's delicious meal is over, you ready to start your day.

Well, what now?

He actually is pretty typical of a person you would expect to see in what is effectively a tribal society. His mindset isn't that far out of place with what we would feel when we lived in mud huts hiding from beasts.

Problem is, this is current year brah

Karn's like Grug the Caveman if he was flung from the Stone Age to the Civilized Space Age in 40 years instead of 40 million. The generational whiplash must be INTENSE, especially when the world went from being relatively unchanging to having a new "do's and don'ts" every other day. If you told Karn to hit the nae nae his brain would go into critical error trying to process if those words were even real

“Caulifla, we're training by ourselves today.” you tell your daughter, then to Triumph Requiem add. “We're going to figure out what all you can do.”
“Very well.” her Stand replies, the two of you rising up from the table. Only, Okira comes as well.
“I want to go too!” she says, running up and grabbing onto your leg, looking up at you. “Can I? Please? My Imagine Dragon could be really helpful!”

“What do you think?” you ask Meloka, who only shrugs in response. Making it clear that this is your choice, not hers. Which is understandable, after all she doesn't have a Stand and cannot help Caulifla the way you can. “Alright, you can come too kiddo. We may need your powers.”
“YAY!!” she shouts, jumping up to your neck and hugging you. Meloka takes Karn Jr and the younger twins over to Raven's island, Tatsu and Tomi saying they have their own training plans with their team. Broly and Koriand'r still are off on their own, and from what you can sense he's back in his Primal form. Seems his training is going rather well. And as you make your way outside, you reach out to the older Stand user.

“Hey, this is Karn. Are you busy?” you ask, thinking out to the older man.
“Karn? Long time no see, how is everything going?” he asks, telepathic voice as boisterous as his speaking voice. “No new wars popped up, have they?”
“No, nothing like that. But I need a favor.” you tell him, briefly filling him in on what's happened. He listens intently, not interrupting. “So, that's basically it. Do you mind if we head down your way? Your Stand helped her last time, perhaps now it can again?”
“Of course, of course.” he answers, sounding almost eager. “How soon will your ship arrive?”

“I was just going to use Instant Transmission to teleport the four of us there directly.” you tell him, sensing his surprise through the link.
“Alright, give me five minutes.” he answers, you getting the feeling he's speaking to someone for a moment before coming back to the conversation. “I'll have the fitness room readied.”
“Sounds like a plan.” you tell him, then end the telepathic conversation. And instead of heading outside you go back to your room. The girls are a bit confused as you start undressing, taking off the simple uniform and start putting on your armor.
“Why are you getting armored up?” Caulifla asks, wearing her own Clothes Beam'd armor. “Is he in trouble too?”
“No no, nothing like that. But we've never been to his world before.” you reply, pulling your armor on up over your head before grabbing both weapons, slinging them across your back. “Need to look the part and all.”
“Want me to give you some new armor?” she asks. “It can look however you want.”

“Appreciate the thought, but I'll stick with this.” you reply, remembering back to the indecision that had paralyzed you last time you'd tried to change it up. “This armor, or at least armor like it, has seen me through hell and back.”
“Fair enough.” she replies, Okira asking for her big sis to magic her armor. To which Caulifla obliges, magicking her a suit of armor similar to her own silver suit she wears when fighting for that amulet's master. Which, you notice she still isn't wearing. She notices you looking, shaking her head. “Not today. Don't want to interrupt the training by getting sucked into a past timeline.”

“Alright, I'm ready whenever you are.” Joseph suddenly thinks to you. “Whenever you're ready.”
“Time to go.” you tell your kids, holding out your left while placing your right to your forehead. Focusing on the Stand user's ki through the telepathic link, you easily establish the needed connection, vanishing from New Salda with your daughters. One moment you are in your bedroom, the next find yourself in a brightly-lit area, a familiar old face before you.

“Well well, look who it is!” comes a boisterous, familiar voice. And standing there, before you all, is a rather well-built man, looking nearly as old as Tatsu. Just without all the years of abuse and missing limbs, except his left hand. Which is clearly exposed, metal gleaming a bit in the light. “Good to see you again old friend! Still keeping up those lessons Cauli?”
“Of course!” your daughter exclaims, you wondering what lessons he means. But then he sees Okira, a genuine paternal smile coming to his face. “And who do we have here?”
“O-O-Okira.” your youngest daughter manages to get out, but he doesn't hear her. He raises his right to his ear, leaning in comically.
“Sorry, I'm getting rather hard of hearing anymore.” he says a bit loudly, leaning in. “Tell me again?”

“O-Okira!” your daughter says louder and with more confidence. But as she does, Imagine Dragon lunges, biting him on the ear!
“Ooooooooh myyyyyy gooooood!” he shouts, recoiling dramatically and pulling her latched on Stand with him a good foot or so before stopping. “Help! I'm gonna die!”

His antics cause Okira to giggle, Imagine Dragon letting go as she does. He rubs his ear gingerly, putting on a pouting act as if he's upset about the little pricks his ear got.

“And this is my Stand, Imagine Dragon.” she says, introducing it as well. To which Joseph nods, summoning his own Stand around his right.
“This is my Stand, Hermit Purple.” he tells her, then turns to the one he hasn't greeted yet. “And you must be Triumph's new form, Requiem. Good to meet you.”
“I....Remember you.” Triumph Requiem says, catching you all by surprise. “We met long ago.”

“Hey now, it wasn't THAT long ago.” he says a bit defensively. “That was only a few years ago, I'm not old yet.”

To which Caulifla just laughs, walking up and hugging the old man. He jovially returns the gesture, letting her go after a moment to face her Stand.

“So, Triumph Requiem. Are you ready?” he asks, his Stand writing around his hand.
“Yes. Let us see what this new form of mine can do.” Triumph Requiem says, Joseph nodding.
“Hermit Purple!” he calls out, the thorny purple vines shooting out from his hand and wrapping both Caulifla and Triumph Requiem up, binding them in place as he uses his Stand's powers to see what she can do.

“Hrmm, let's see.” Joseph says, bringing his left hand to his chin as his eyes dart back and forth. Seeing what none of the rest of you can, no doubt looking at Triumph Requiem's abilities. He's silent for over a minute, making no noise other than the occasional “Hrmm” or hum while seemingly having difficulty identifying her Stand's powers. Then, to both his and Triumph Requiem's surprise, the vine-like Stand around the golden form suddenly ignite!

“Ooooooh Shiiiiiiiit!!” Joseph shouts, his Stand burning to ashes around her as the flames travel up his Stand!
“Sorry, I'm sorry.” Triumph Requiem says, raising a hand and to everyone's surprise the fire stops. The flames then fly off his Stand, all going towards the open golden palm. “Forgive me, I hadn't meant to.”
“It's quite alright, you just gave me a bit of a fright is all.” he says, brushing it off. You notice a bead of sweat drip down the left side of his face despite all the confidence in his voice, betraying his worry for his safety. “Despite your looks, I didn't expect you to be quite so hot to the touch.”

“Why, thank you.” the golden Stand replies, seemingly caught off guard by his words. “What of my abilities did you discover?”
“Of course. You still have your usual fire manipulation and control, as well as your fire breath.” he says, raising his fingers while counting from them. “You have lost your Phoenix Tears, but the ability has been improved.”
“Improved?” Caulifla and Triumph Requiem both ask him simultaneously.
“In what way?” you ask him.

“Her Phoenix Tears have evolved, that power flowing from her tears to her golden feathers.” Joseph says, gesturing to Triumph Requiem's golden wings. “You can remove a feather and place it on the one you wish to heal. The feather will be consumed to heal the one you wish, even from death.”
“Wait, hold on. She can revive the dead?” you ask, shocked. “No way.”
“It's true. Any injury imaginable can be cured.” he replies. “This ability is limited by your feathers, however. Should you pluck one, it takes at least a day to grow back. And without your feathers, you will be unable to use them to fly. You can also transform yourself with Caulifla, becoming one as a suit of nigh-impenetrable armor.”

“We already figured that one out.” Caulifla adds in, looking over to her Stand. “You never gotta worry about flying, I'll carry us both if I have to.”
“I appreciate it.” Triumph Requiem says to her, smiling at her wielder's honesty before turning back to Joseph. “Is that all?”

“Well, you do have a few others. You keep your previous revival ability of From the Ashes, should either of you perish both of your bodies will burst into flames and burn to ash. But from the ashes you'll be revived, good as new. That takes anywhere from a day to a week it seems, depending on the conditions you both were in. And other than that, you do have one new ability: Holy Flames.”

“Holy Flames?” Okira asks, looking up to her sister. “Like her healing magic holy?”
“It seems so.” Joseph says. “These flames aren't to be underestimated. From what I can tell, they can burn absolutely anything. No matter if they're immune to fire or not.”
“That is something else.” you say, scratching your chin. “Anything, huh? Perhaps we should put it to the test?”
“Are you sure?” your daughter asks you, a hint of worry in her voice.

Well? Which ability of hers should be put to the test first?
>Have them test these Holy Flames on you, see if your various defenses can withstand them. If not, then you can test her new healing powers
>Try and see if she can show off that previous power, having her Stand turning itself to fire or focus that flame into an unstoppable beam
>Have Caulifla and Triumph Requiem combine once more, see if Divine Dragon Force is back and if it can penetrate that armor(and not use its power to kill her obviously)

“Hey Cauli, Triumph Requiem. There is a power I'm curious if you can do.” you say, drawing their eyes. “Can you transform like you could before, turning into pure fire?”
“I, uhh, do not know.” Triumph Requiem says, it sharing a look with Cauilifla. “Shall we try it?”
“Sure. Go for it, it would be good to know.” Caulifla says, clenching her fists. “On three?”

They nod to each other, counting together.

“One. Two. Three! HAAAA!” Caulifla shouts, powering up to her Super Saiyan form. But her Stand doesn't change, it remaining in its new form. Caulifla turns to her Stand, looking it over. “C'mon, try powering up like I do!”
“Very well.” Triumph Requiem says, clenching its own fists. “Haaaa!”

And while flames burst out around the Stand's golden body, it doesn't actually change forms into fire like the previous Stand would. After a moment Caulifla stops her Stand, turning to you in seeming disappointment.
“Unfortunately, I cannot seem to do that anymore.” it answers you, hanging its head a bit.
“No need to get down about it, we're here to see what you can and can no longer do.” you say to her Stand. “Knowing what you can and cannot do is important, especially if you're going to be protecting my daughter's life. Which is something else I just thought of. In your previous form, you could focus your fire into a beam that could seemingly cut through anything. Do you think you could still do that?”

“Now hold on. Don't unleash something unblockable here in my building. We're in the middle of a civilian city, I don't want to be held liable for any deaths.”
“We can always try that one once we're back home.” Caulifla says to you, then to her Stand raises a brow. “But do you think you can heal me?”
“Are you injured?” Triumph Requiem asks, your daughter shaking her head.
“Not at the moment.” your daughter replies. “But before your tears couldn't heal me.”
“You're right, I hadn't considered it.” the golden Stand replies, swinging one wing out in front of itself. It looks the wing over, petting its feathers. “But you're unharmed, aren't you?”

“Not for long.” she says, turning and swinging her arm at you. Only, at the last second you realize she isn't aiming for your side, but the bladed edge of the Gravity Hammer slung across your back! And before you can stop her, you feel her arm strike the weapon's edge.

You know, I'm kinda glad that we didn't end up getting another stand. I get what in the story justification we had in wanted to find out whether or not we would always get Dragon Force or was instilled this creature by another us from another realm. But to me, it always felt like a dick move to do something like this without consulting our bud and having a true heart-to-heart. Like we're avoiding the real issue and wanting to take the easy way out. We need to confront our feelings, strengthen if not reforge our bonds, and move forward no longer doubting ourselves and our choices. Now I'm not opposed to getting another stand or even evolving our bud DDF into a requirem or something new entirely. I only think we should address the elephant in the room and talk it out. Things can't keep going like this
>>

“What the hell Cauli, are you crazy?” you shout at her, shocked by her self-mutilation. But she's still completely calm, blood dripping on the ground as she draws her arm back.
“Let's see if it'll work.” she says to her Stand, voice not betraying how crazy what she just did is. You can see that her arm is very clearly broken, the hammer's stout edge no doubt cracking at least one of the two bones in her forearm. You can't find any words, turning to Joseph who seems just as equally stunned as you. The two of you share a look before turning your gaze back to the Stand, it looking over its wing before plucking a single feather with what seems to be surprising force. Looks like it won't be as easy to use as simple tears. Triumph Requiem hands the feather to Caulifla, who presses it to her lamed arm. And to your and her surprise, the feather catches fire! “Woah!”

You all watch as the golden feather bursts into golden flames, the fire catching your daughter's left arm and igniting it as well. But as the golden flames burn, you all watch as her arm isn't burned by the fire, but transformed. The blood evaporates, her bones reset themselves as the damage is seemingly undone, returning her to how she was before swinging her arm into your weapon.

“So cool!!” Okira shouts, running up to her sister as the flames die out, looking her over curiously. “Its good as new!”
“She's got guts.” Joseph mutters to you, to which you don't have words so simply nod in reply. Okira turns her attention to Triumph Requiem, her and Imagine Dragon asking it a lot of questions. “She's her father's daughter all right, hell she's even built like you.”
“She's a good kid.” you answer, not taking your eyes off of her.
“That she is.” Joseph says, a wistful note to his voice. “I can only hope-”

But whatever he was going to say is cut off, the old man abruptly silencing himself. You glance back over to him, but he's pointedly not looking at you. Seems like he said something he now regrets.

“What was that?” you ask him, Joseph not responding immediately.
'Nothing, nothing, what do you mean?” he asks, trying to play it cool. But you can see he's clearly sweating, nervously looking around as if looking for a way out. But he's not fooling you.
“What's wrong?” you ask him, then tap the side of your head while speaking to him telepathically. “If you don't want to say it aloud, you can think it to me. But something's clearly wrong.”
“Is it that obvious?” he replies aloud with a sigh, his entire body sagging. And in that moment he shows his age, you realizing that he actually could be older than your own old man. He then answers you telepathically, not looking directly at you. “I have a son.”

“Congratulations.” you answer, keeping it telepathic but wonder why he doesn't seem excited about this. You hadn't expected someone of his age to be able to have kids, but good for him. “Good for you.”
“Yeah, but that's the thing.” he answers, you looking over to him. “I didn't know I had a son until recently. And my wife doesn't know about him. No one knows he exists.”
“Oh.” you reply, knowing what it's like to have a son you weren't expecting with someone else. “Has your wife met the other woman?”
“Absolutely not!” he shouts aloud, everyone turning to face him. “Sorry, sorry.”

Your daughters share a glance before resuming their conversation, Imagine Dragon speaking with Triumph Requiem. Joseph sighs out again, seemingly deflating before speaking telepathically with you again.

“I messed up, years ago and cheated on my wife.” he tells you. “I swore an oath I'd be faithful, but years ago in Japan I slept with another woman. But it seems that I had gotten her pregnant, and she had a son. I wasn't there for my boy as he grew up. I missed out on over a decade of his life. Now he and his mother both probably hate me, call me a deadbeat father who fucked and ran, not taking responsibility for my own son. And if it wasn't for asking Jotaro to look into how to split the inheritance once I pass on, I wouldn't have ever known he exists. I don't even know how to approach them now, much less how I would make it up to the boy by being absent for so much of his life. Or how to handle my wife. She's angrier at me than she's ever been, I can't even go home anymore. She's kicked me out. I've made such a mess and don't know how to fix it. If it can even be fixed.”

Well, do you have any advice for him?
>Tell him that he needs to reach out to this son of his, to go meet with him and the mother. Every boy deserves a father, even if they don't know who he is
>Let him know of your situation with Towa and how you eventually made it all work out, but that it can only work if the women themselves can agree to cooperate
>Divert the conversation, ask how Jotaro's been doing and what he's been up to
>Ask him how he plans to handle this awkward situation he's found himself in, or if he needs your help with anything

Suzi might be insanely mad, and rightfully so, but she should at least understand that Joseph can't just disregard his flesh and blood now that he's aware of their existence.
For better or worse, he is that boy's father and nothing in the world can change that.

“That's a lot to think about.” you reply to him, still keeping the conversation telepathic. “But there is one thing I do know.”
“What's that?” he asks aloud, turning questioningly to you.
“A son needs his father.” you tell him, laying a hand on the elder Stand user's shoulder. “I didn't know who my father was until I was already a man.”
“And see, you turned out fine.” he tries to joke, to lighten the mood between you both. And, you think, to try and make excuses why he shouldn't go.

“That's because he raised me, along with a lot of the others of the village.” you reply. “Tatsu is...Was a great man and a fantastic teacher. You should go yourself, and meet with both him and the boy's mother. Even if you don't tell him who you are, and she agrees to keep your connection secret, at least be there to mentor the boy. What if he has a Stand like you and Jotaro, not knowing what it can do or even control it?”

“I....Hadn't thought about that.” Joseph says aloud, raising his good hand to his chin. “Hadn't even considered the possibility he might be a Stand user as well. Am I losing my touch?”
“I don't know about all that, but I do know that you have a son who needs to learn from his father.” you tell him aloud, clapping him on the back. “I'm sure a man as experienced as you would have plenty to teach the next generation. After all, we all need people to take our place, once we're gone. If there's one thing I've learned, its that there is ALWAYS another threat. Always something else out there ready to tear down everything you've built, to destroy your family and people. And its our job to ready the next generations to take those threats head-on.”

“You might be right.” he says, sounding less upset now and more thoughtful about your words. “I'll have to take some time to consider your words. Perhaps I DO owe it to him, from one Joestar to another. Heh, after all, Granny Erina may be right.” he says, smirking a bit. “Thank you, Karn. You've given me much to think about.”
“Of course, anytime.” you reply, the two of you sharing a nod before turning your attention back to the girls. “Alright, that's enough of a break. Are you ready to get back to work?”

You and Joseph help Caulifla and Triumph Requiem continue testing the Stand's newfound powers, its flames melting a metal exercise machine. Which the fires wouldn't go out on their own, forcing the Stand to once again use its fire manipulation to absorb those fires into itself to prevent the whole building from burning down. And after a few more tests, learning that Triumph lost both Dragon's Roar and Phoenix Tears, as well as Burning Phoenix and Burning Wrath abilities. But the newfound powers seemingly make up the difference, the only question is if it can make that laser-like beam of fire. And to test that, you'll have to return home.

“Thank you for your help, Joseph Joestar.” Triumph Requiem says, shaking his hand.
“It was my pleasure, feel free to call me up anytime for help.” he replies, ending the shake as Caulifla rushes forward and hugs him. She's nearly as tall as he is now, and far broader, her muscular arms wrapping around the old man's frame. “You too.”
“I really appreciate it.” Caulifla tells him, separating and letting Okira jump up into his arms.
“Next time I gotta show you what WE can do!” Okira says, Imagine Dragon nodding along with her.
“I look forward to it.” he tells her, then turns to you. “I appreciate it Karn.”
“Of course. And if you need a hand I'll be here, soon as I can.” you reply, shaking hands with the elder Joestar before gathering your kids, readying yourselves to go. He gives you all a nod and a wave, you teleporting back home and resuming your more usual daily activities.

Unfortunately for Triumph Requiem, it seemingly lost that unstoppable laser beam of fire attack it once had, but with these Holy Flames serving practically the same purpose, it isn't as big of a loss as it could have been. You bring the daughters back to Raven's Island, everyone resuming their more normal training. And for two whole months, everything seemingly goes back to normal. No unexpected, otherworldly calls, no monsters or machines invading, nothing too out of the ordinary happens. But then, one morning after breakfast, Chaya has an announcement.

“Today's the day!” she proudly declares. “Today is the day that bitch Tanya pays for what she did to me!”
“Oh, the rematch is finally happening?” you ask her, curious how this one will play out. “Are you ready?”
“Ready? I've been preparing these long years to make her pay. There's no way I'm going to fail again.” your eldest declares, grinning and showing her fangs. “This time, I'm going to be the one who wins. I'll take this wannabe goddess down, and stomp her into the dirt until there's nothing left.”

“Do we get to go watch?” Maz asks, turning to you with eyes sparkling with excitement.
“Do we do we?” Kayle adds, also asking you.
“A deathmatch? That could be quite entertaining.” Koriand'r adds, sitting next to Broly in her armor. “Who is your opponent going to be?”
“The current champion, the bitch who stole my title last time.” Chaya tells her, Kori “Oh”ing at this before turning to Broly.
“We can't miss this.” she says, to which he nods and agrees.

“We'll be there too.” Caulifla says, her Stand nodding along as well. Which is something else you'd discovered, is that unlike other Stands, her Triumph Requiem doesn't phase in and out of reality. It always just IS, standing or flying around with your daughter as she goes about her day-to-day.
“Thanks. But it's not MY health you should be worried for.” Chaya tells her, showing just how confident she is in her abilities. “I'm gonna tear her arms off this time.”

“When does it start?” you ask her, to which Chaya gleefully tells you everything she knows and that she's got to head back and get back on her ship that will take her down to the battlefield in a few minutes. And as she does, you can't help but remember the shape she was in after her last fight with that tiny terror Tanya. You can remember the bloodlust that came off of her, and how her weapons can even set YOUR instincts off. You can only hope that all this time she's spent improving will pay off, that your daughter will triumph in the end. But seeing her standing at the table, her nub of a tail twitching in her clear excitement, you can't help but worry for her. Is she really ready for this?

I do feel a little anxious for our girl, but this has been building up since forever. Lets see how it starts off after all the hype
>>
>>5651201
My only question is whether or not we'll get to observe the action up close and personal like last time.
It'd be a shame to let Tanya die. For as much of a conniving cunt as he is, he's still an asset.
>>
>>5651199
Still weird she took losing personally she had to know someone would do it.
>>
>>5651205
Exactly. Tanya merely did what he was supposed to. Chaya was the one making it buddy buddy in spite of the literal death match competition system making her sloppy.
>>
>>5651206
She didn't expect Tanya to be the one to do it, nor did she expect it to happen as it did.
It also didn't help that Chanya had made being the Champion such a large part of her personality right before she lost the title.
>>
>>5651203
Next thread will start with a POV vote, whose view we'll get the fight through.
>>5651203
Both her and Tanya are not the same people they were during the last fight. It will be quite the show this time.
>>5651205
You'll be on-world, if you choose Karn's pov.
>spoiler
We'll see how Chaya feels after the fight.
>>5651206
It wasn't the losing. But the BETRAYAL of Tanya gunning for her after being her ally for so long.
>>5651213
Losing her title along with the betrayal really hurt her. She's out for blood this time.
>>
>>5651214
That's the thing. In a death match competition there is no such thing as allies. The showbiz made her forget that while not understanding how insufferable she was to Tanya.
>>
>>5651239
Tanya had told her she wasn’t challenging her again, since the Hive War. She’s helped Chaya for years, only to backstab her
>>
>>5650636
See this is shit that only proves that I was right and we should've tried talking to DDF directly. It's probably why the Arrow deemed us unworthy atm for a Requiem stand. Ultimately, I stood by the result of the vote since majority rule rather than perpetually bitch and moan about it. Still, I would hope from this ordeal that moving forward that we would take all of this to heart and be straight to our Dragon Bro. If we're real to our friends but not to our dragon, then that says a lot about how we view ourselves and I do not like the implications in the slightest.
>>
>>5651272
And the fact she bought it while Tanya was still a combatant is ridiculous. My hope is she is told too her face why.
>>
>>5651306
>If we're real to our friends but not to our dragon, then that says a lot about how we view ourselves and I do not like the implications in the slightest.
Keep in mind that Karn's chosen transformation line revolves around an extreme internal struggle, so having negative self image buried in his subconscious wouldn't be surprising.
I also find it funny that for all intents and purposes, Karn and Karn Prime are the same person, but Karn is immediately suspicious of his intentions and actions via DDF.
I'm not sure if GD meant to imply this or not, but I think Karn might actually have a lot more in common with Broly than previously thought.
>>
>>5651306
That other Karn may have tried to ALSO get a second Stand, during the period DDF was dormant.
As for how this plays out, we’ll see.
>>5651322
Tanya was one of her Executioners, one of the four elites under her that had the right to challenge the Champion each season. And Tanya didn’t fight her for YEARS, declining even when Chaya’d ask if she wanted to go a round for old times sake.
>>5651331
Is it Karn Prime? Or the sentient, now known to be extra-reality being attached to his soul he questions? The same being that’s ADMITTED to steering him subconsciously towards the outcome IT wants?
>>
>>5651355
But gd, the extra reality sentience is just you man, and your a pretty cool guy.
>>
>>5651863
DDF is an entity from a reality outside his own, attached to his soul without his consent, and has been subconsciously manipulating his decisions to send him down the path that ended with that Karn and his reality erased. Wouldn’t that bother you?
>>
>>5652015
To some degree, yes, but it really sounds like that was Chronoa's fault more than anything.
>>
>>5652015
No because thenit would call my own free will into question, and I'm not ready for that kind of existential crisis.
>>
>>5652320
Remember anon, whether you believe you have free will or not is irrelevant. Either you do or you don't and you will never know. So it's a simple choice, are you a manly man or a robot. Which do you -want- to be my friend? And thus your crisis is resolved.
>>
>>5652136
He knows that, but knowing this outer-dimensional being is steering you towards that same battle that could possibly end the same is a lot to handle.
>>5652320
Being manipulated subconsciously does have side effects. Some of which seem to have popped up in quest to be represented by you all tying votes more often and NEEDING some sort of push to action. Which DDF may have noticed.
>>5652325
Which is a fine approach. Unless something appeared to you and ADMITTED to altering your choices, something with the power to even UNDO TIME.
>>
>>5652561
>Which is a fine approach. Unless something appeared to you and ADMITTED to altering your choices, something with the power to even UNDO TIME.
Well I don't think that has happened to anon, so we're safe.

Your welcome, it is enlightening.
>>
Things have gone far too left field off the table and into mindless babble. The crux of the problem is that Karn hasn’t been a huge believer in “Fate”, which is why the whole Fateless thing didn’t bother or even phase him. You make your choices and live with the consequences. But knowing something was in your head DESPITE Towa’s anti-mind control affecting your decisions, knowing not everything you’ve done was your choice, is hard for a man of actions to handle. And that DDF never TOLD you, hell never even ASKED you even once, ESPECIALLY after re-becoming wholly sentient? That level of betrayal could hurt.

QM UPDATE

Unfortunately episode 196 won’t be starting this Saturday, as I have too much work to get to to also run a good episode. So, 196 will begin NEXT Saturday the 13th. Epilogue for this episode will hopefully drop this Sunday, maybe a second one during the week unless this one turns really long. But I don’t forsee Tanya’s potentially last epilogue to run too many pages.

>>5653374
>We never asked
Man. Brother. You can’t manipulate someone you call a friend “FoR tHeIr OwN gOoD” and be a good person. Especially doing so behind their back. That’s some real SKoT shit right there. If you respect someone you would tell them on your own what you were doing and ask if they wished for your continued support. Not wait for the literal extradimensional demon to reveal it to them and even then STILL not explain yourself after this fact becomes known. DDF has had literal YEARS to tell you this, but hasn’t chosen to divulge it was manipulating your choices. Karn being doubtful of DDF’s motivations would be the absolute most generous reaction one could have.
>>5653375
This is what happens when keeping secrets gets revealed. Trust is lost and faith damaged.
>>5653376
At first. But then Karn absolutely chose the dagger to try and unlock his own Stand. It just chose Caulifla instead. Speaking of, her Stando pastebin has been updated, someone tell me if they see any obvious typos. And no, Triumph Requiem’s Durability is NOT a type

subtle
>>
>>5653658
I think you were meaning to tag me. I would have called it at the one vote and moved on, but there seemed a lot of non-combative, good discussion over it so I let a second vote happen. Let the dice go a second time, to see if anyone got something special or if it was a done deal. Let the doubts of anons be Karn’s doubts to his actions and choices. After all, how certain ARE you without DDF’s influence? For over TWENTY YEARS Karn has had DDF manipulating him without his knowledge, pushing certain decisions it wants
>>
>>5653406
>At first. But then Karn absolutely chose the dagger to try and unlock his own Stand.
I feel like this is anons mostly tying to justify asking Cold for the dagger, then blaming him when things didn't go to plan.
On a slightly different note the initial vote to even get stabbed was behind DDF's back too, if I remember correctly.
>>
>>5654840
I see it more as anons thought this was a “once or never” sort of vote and didn’t want to lose the chance at a second Stand. Not blaming him, as he offered it when your resolve wavered.
Absolutely it was. But so too was twenty years of manipulation on a level Palpatine could only DREAM of. This revelation also has Bane’s imprint in your head going over its own choices since meeting you. After all, if it could seamlessly manipulate you to the point extradimensional beings like SKoT couldn’t identify how it did so, whose to say it wasn’t doing the same to him?
>>
>>5654844
>Bane’s imprint in your head going over its own choices since meeting you. After all, if it could seamlessly manipulate you to the point extradimensional beings like SKoT couldn’t identify how it did so, whose to say it wasn’t doing the same to him?
Now that might brings up an interesting thought. Without trying to get too philosophical, whose to say it doesn't apply to everyone in this universe?

It's not outside the realm of possibility honestly.
DDF has already demonstrated the ability to actively manipulate reality around itself via Wishes. Who's to say it can't passively affect the people in close proximity to the user it's bound to?
I'm getting KOTOR 2 flashbacks and I don't like it.
>>

>>5654878
>existential crisis
Indeed. Good choice of words.
>>5654882

>>5654895

Unfortunately the first game was made by Bioware, so it shies away from its true potential. As for the second game, it was made by Obsidian, which means its criminally unfinished despite having some being one of the best written RPGs of that era. Mods help, but they can only do so much for a game that had a 14 month development cycle.[/spoiler.]

Its [ spoiler ], no spaces and no s. And that’s more proof Obsidian could be the best game company out there if given the proper time to work their magic. Everyone I know regards New Vegas higher than any bethesda-made fallout game.

Obsidian was only ever as good as their key development staff, most of which from the "golden age" having since left the company.

What I’m afraid of is that without a good threat after killing Tanya is that Chaya will eventually slack off when the competition becomes a joke again, that plus Vox being a slimy fuck means that she needs to be extra careful when that happens.

I think Chaya's on the cusp of another epiphany regarding what she wants to do with her life, so here's hoping this fight gets her noggin joggin' if nothing else.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 195 Epilogue I-

AGE 755, TANYA'S HOMEWORLD

“Preparations are complete, General.” your longtime assistant Viktoriya Serebryakov says, her expression a neutral mask. At least, you think that's what anyone else who would see it would think. But you've known the girl far, far too long to not clearly hear that she's filled to the brim with worry. “But....”
“My Second-in-Command Serebryakov, how long have we known each other?” you ask her with a sigh, looking up from your screens in your master control station on your ship to meet her worried gaze. “If you have something you want to say to me, just say it.”

“R-Right. Well, umm... Are you sure this is enough?” she asks innocently enough. Striking directly at your own greatest fear. “What if tomorrow she isn't weakened enough by all this for you to win?”
“You think I'm going to lose?” you ask her, raising a brow and immediately see the panic in her eyes.
“No no, that's not what I-!” she starts, you raising a hand to stop her.
“Don't apologize. I know you have my health and safety as a priority, worrying about my feelings isn't constructive.” you tell her. “Tell me honestly, Serebryakov: what do you think my odds of winning are?”

“Well, I'm not sure.” she replies at first, still clearly not saying her real opinion. But as you stare at her, you see her steel her resolve as she takes a deep, calming breath. You are the Champion General of Dreadzone Tanya Degurechaff, the one who resisted Being X's attempt at taking over your body and instead stole his divine power. Claiming its mantle of power for yourself and ascending to a deity, learning the ins and outs of how to wield this unique power from Being X itself. But after defeating Chaya, you've worked on mastering this power. Only to discover during her fight with the Red Knight that she ALSO has this power! “But, even with everything set up, from the mines and artillery to the weapons, I don't think it's enough.”

“And why do you think this?” you ask her, pressing your fingertips together as you look to her. “Do you think the preparations we have made are not enough? What, in your professional opinion, are we missing?”
“Air superiority.” she answers almost immediately. “Nothing we have on this battlefield can compete with her in the air. Well, except for you of course.”
“No. In a direct competition, comparing raw stats, she would take me in almost every category.” you reply, but are unable to repress your smirk any longer. “Almost. But she's forgotten one thing: I prepare.”

And turn one of your monitors around to show Major Serebryakov, who gasps in surprise.

On the screen turned towards the young woman are tens of thousands of Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighters lined up opposite Hawker Hurricane fighters.

“No way. Where did, when....How?” Viktoriya asks you, shocked by what she's seeing as she can't look away. “How many...?”
“Seventy four thousand, five hundred eighty four fighters in total.” you tell her, unable to suppress your grin. Divided evenly, that gives each 'faction' for the battle tomorrow-”
“Thirty seven, two ninety two!” Visha shouts, surprising you a bit with how quickly she calculated that.
“Precisely. With what you already know of the battlefield, with those numbers in the air as well, she will have nowhere to hide.” you reply, preparing to turn the monitor back. But see that Serebryakov is actually studying the fighters, noticing immediately that they aren't quite like the ones from back home. “I see you've noticed.”

“What's with those cockpits? A pilot won't be able to see out of those narrow slits.” she comments, brows furrowed. “Are there cameras mounted around the vehicles?”
“Yes, but even more importantly, they aren't crew-piloted vehicles.” you tell your assistant. “There will be piloted remotely, by an artificial intelligence connected to all of the fighters simultaneously.”
“Wait, all of them? What system can handle that many fighters in a battlefield?” she asks, curious.
“I called in a favor.” you say, then unable to contain your triumph explain further. “This fleet was produced by none other than Freeza's cousin Arctus at his droid factory.”
“Arctus? Lord Freeza's cousin Arctus?” she asks, stunned. “The one who built that massive spaceship?”

“Indeed. By using the blueprints of the vehicles from our world as starting blocks, he was able to adapt the designs of his Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droids, or as he calls them his “Vulture Droids to these body designs.” you tell her, growing in confidence as her face remains shocked. “As the battle's about to start he'll begin releasing some of the ships, no more than a few hundred at a time. But making sure to keep the numbers up, no matter how many are shot down.”
“You're always one step ahead!” Visha exclaims excitedly, smiling happily. “This is why you really earned that title of Goddess of Strategy! No one can out-plan you!”

“I hope so.” you mutter, unheard by the woman in front of you as you try and stifle your worry gnawing at your guts. Something still isn't right, even with this secret weapon there still isn't a one hundred percent chance you'll be the one to come out on top in this battle. When suddenly you feel the familiar sensation of divine intervention, time stopping around you. “Oh, great. It's you.”

“As unfaithful as ever, even in your own abilities.” Being X's voice comes from Visha, your faithful subordinate's mouth moving in this timeless space. “You still have yet to overcome your greatest weakness.”
“My weakness? My 'weakness' is what allowed me to take this power from you in the first place.” you reply with a bit of snark, the otherworldly being not rising to the bait.
“You must have faith.” Being X preaches annoyingly. “Faith in this power you have taken, faith in the belief of your followers. Faith that you can once and for all defeat her.”

“Why do you care?” you reply, annoyed. Even though you know the answer.
“You know as well as I do that these damned Saiyans are a threat to every thing that draws breath. Even the divine.”
“Which is why you must unlock the full strength of the divine. If you try and fight with half-measures, you WILL perish.” Being X tells you.
“Half measures? Do you think I did all of this just to lose?” you ask, but feel that lingering doubt growing in the back of your mind. “Would I have put this much effort in if I wanted to fold?”

“You still don't believe, deep down.” Being X says simply. “If you want to survive tomorrow, you must believe in my power, in me. Else, you will fall. And she will kill you.”
“Fall? Yeah right.” you reply snarkily, looking away.
“Umm, Champion General?” Serebryakov asks, her voice making it clear that she doesn't know what you're talking about. Seems Being X ended the discussion early. “Who were you talking to?”
“Don't worry about it, just an annoying backseat driver.” you say dismissively, your second raising a brow in confusion. You then turn another monitor to her, this one the outline of each 'section' of the battle tomorrow. “Come on, let's run through it again. But this time, with the knowledge you now have of the aerial forces.”
“Yes Ma'am!” Visha shouts, saluting enthusiastically. Who needs faith when you have superior strategy, a perfect psychological understanding of your opponent, and discretionary military spending? You're going to win this, no matter the cost. But even still, that nagging doubt in the back of your mind remains. Can you really do it? Can you truly best her once again?

-Meanwhile, streamed live from New Salda-

“So that's the plan for tomorrow's battle. What do you think?” Chaya asks her Sister and the golden Stand, the two Saiyans working out in the intense gravity together. “Think she'll play by the rules?”
“After what happened to you last time? I doubt it.” the much larger younger sister Caulifla says, veins popping and muscles bulging as she attempts to lift the same amount as her stronger sister. “She's going to try and kill you. Again.”

“Of course she's going to try to kill me. It wouldn't be a real fight if she wouldn't.” Chaya responds, no strain apparent in her voice as she matches reps with her taller sister. “Thank you 'KombatFan420' for the dono! But she's crazy if she thinks I won't be doing the same thing.”
“Will she not have prepared countermeasures against you?” Triumph Requiem asks, the Stand seemingly unaffected by the gravity and by Caulifla, should her user need assistance with the weights. “With the gap in your physical powers so wide, she has to believe that her trials will be able to weaken you enough for direct combat to be effective.”

“She might think that, but it won't work. Not again.” Chaya says, looking down at the lightning bolt-styled scar running up her right arm as she squats the heavy weights again. “No matter how many bodies she throws at my, I won't lose. You guys in chat know how hard I've been busting my ass, especially these past few months as I've gotten ready to kill this bitch. Plus, I've been doing some surprise training.”

“Wait, what?” Caulifla asks, seemingly shocked. “When have you had time?”
“Early in the mornings, before my training with Daddy.” Chaya tells her sister, finishing the set and dropping the weights with a thud. A moment later Caulifla does the same, exhaling loudly and letting her entire body sag as she finishes the set with her sister. “I've been preparing all sorts of new abilities. Stuff she's never seen before. No 'Tanyasfan003', I'm not showing it off on camera before the fight. I know two-timers like you'd run straight to her chat, dropping everything you see to her.”

The woman watches her chat explode with theories and ideas, the text moving far too fast for her to even read half of their sentences. But one thing's clear, they all want at least a taste of what you've been preparing. And you've never been one to disappoint a crowd, especially your own.

“Alright, just for you guys I'll show you ONE thing I've been working on.” Chaya tells her chat, turning from them to Caulifla and her Stand. “Hey, mind shielding Cauli for me? You can protect her from what I'm about to do, as it doesn't work on Stands. At least, I don't think it does.”
“Of course.” Triumph Requiem says, and in a flash of light the Stand deconstructs itself, transforming into a suit of brilliant golden armor around Caulifla.
“Perfect! Now, watch close.” Chaya tells her chat, turning from them to focus fully on her sister. Then, raising her right hand, a swarm of lightning erupts from her fingertips! Wrapping around the golden Stand armor, crackling menacingly as sparks leap from her in all directions.

“Oh? This is going to be quite the show tomorrow.” Arctus says, leaning back in his chair with a grin as Chaya shows off her power, popping the top on another drink and taking a swig. “This is going to be fun.”

I'm glad Arctus is involved. I'm not saying he did anything to shift the odds in Tanya's favor, but I can imagine he only agreed to help since he knows it won't amount to much against Chaya.
Also Tanya's assumption that she actually has air superiority makes me think she hasn't seen how Saiyans handle themselves when they're out-manned in the sky. She'd have done well to review the old recordings of the first Covenant siege on New Salda.

Correct, but that brings to mind another question. Why make it a question of getting hit in the first place?
>>
>>5656713
Because that is the correct assumption with ANY attack. Not IF your opponent will use it, but how you will react when they do.
>>
>>5656768
I was about to talk about the hierarchy of action in combat, but I realized that when you're facing relative unknowns or otherwise superior foes, the only thing you can really do reliably (initially anyways) is react.
>>
>>5656853
A valid point. And with a technique with as obvious a startup as the javelin, knowing its coming isn’t the problem mid-fight unless your opponent somehow sneaks you with it

Canonically speaking, you can use a charge of hamon in any organic substance to program it to perform an action until the charge runs out. It doesn't matter if the organic substance is currently alive or not. Caesar actually uses this quirk the most, but we do see Joseph take advantage of it a few times.
You can do the same thing to (many, but not all) inorganic substances, but you have to sustain the charge by pretty much maintaining contact or conductivity with it - like manipulating water into staying in a cup despite turning it over.
But enough about my obsessive knowledge of Jojo, check out pic related.
>>
>>5658173
It could be used to do something, but something complex like remote control is too much for a hamon hand sneak attack. I still believe that Stroheim threw JoJo’s arm at Kars like a javelin, not that he somehow did it or it was the eruption. Even someone like Piccolo, with his divine powers from Kami and his insane levels of ki control, could only fire a simple blast from a detached arm one singular time.

A thought crossed my mind over how Chaya’s divine form could eventually evolve in the future, since she’s technically doing it wrong with Super Saiyan Rage rather than going through the ritual.

Divine Strength is powered by Faith. The user’s faith in themselves and other people’s faith in them. More than anyone else aside from Karn himself, Chaya is the most well known member of our family due to her exploits in the Dreadzone. She has hundreds of thousands of fans across the Galaxy. While definitely more inconsistent than our own Berserk power, in theory it could surpass us in a life or death scenario where everyone’s hopes are riding on her.

Goku is a relative unknown in the greater galaxy, and the faith from his loved ones alone was enough to allow him to neutralize Beerus’s final planet destroying attack in Battle of Gods.

With all of her fans rooting for her, how far could she really go in a situation where it REALLY mattered? Not just in a gladiatorial competition?
>>
>>5658767
The better question is will she let the belt go and travel for her battles, kinda like Ryu, or will she hold onto the throne even tighter?
>>
>>5658767
>in theory it could surpass us in a life or death scenario where everyone’s hopes are riding on her.
There is a timeline, quite similar but notably different from your own due to how the Chaya loss and Dreadzone was handled, where she is the one who defeats the rampaging Majin Buu. With the Spirit Bomb technique picked up from Perfect Cell, boosted by her uncountable quintillions of fans all sharing their energy. If Earth, wirh an average powerlevel of 5 made that one in canon, imagine how strong Chaya’s was?

Fortunately we haven’t had to find out. However, with THAT MUCH faith backing her up, even Beerus would take note. And possibly mistake her for the Super Saiyan God.

Media literacy aside, I'm also talking about shit that is explicitly shown or mentioned. Stuff that you should notice or be aware of if you're actually paying attention.
Then there's the fact that the bulk of DB discussion takes place in English, thus meaning a fair amount of it is made by non-native English speakers.

I mean yeah but I wouldn't have put it past them to have reused the aura due to cutting corners and overall laziness. Still, I'm willing to put my cynicism aside and give the benefit of the doubt due to being a supreme kai apprentice AND being exposed constantly to SSB and its divine energy.

>>5659990
I mean, to be fair, when the only statement they're willing to give to the masses is just "It's a hypercharged form of power by utilizing the "power of rage" to such extremes. Ignoring that in later depictions it's a hodgepodge of the grade systems on top of SS2 thus breaking its limits to reach this godlike power. You can't blame fans for not thinking initially it was related to Blue as a Divine Derivative. Well, you could but it's the obito is tobi argument. Where it was so painstakingly obvious that fans expect a different answer for the sake of subversion or red hairing
>>
>>5660014
Cell no hands down. He's far too versatile and hotwired in brokenness compared to Meruem. Anyone who tells you otherwise is coping hard, thinking that the over-detailed if not an intricately complicated form of Ki would allow them to bypass the power level aspect and trump Cell. Even if we were to give him the rest of the royal guard abilities and say that he could siphon Cell's power by biting onto him without getting doh slapped to oblivion. Cell could do the same with his tail and put himself back on the pecking order. And those abilities of the other royal guard has paled in comparison to the Z-Fighter toolkit in addition to his own.
>>
>>5660014
One gets hit by a nuclear device small enough to be inside a person, is almost killed and needs his strongest subordinates’ life force to return to full power. Before rad poisoning kills him.
>>5660221
The kai apprentice was only in the manga, but does support the idea
>>
>>5660298
Hmm. Makes me wonder if Cell is radiation resistant
>>
>>5660298
Its always silly seeing people try to compare to the raw power output of dbz bullshit. Our recent stint as a Savior of Earth by obliterating Doomsday for example.
>>
>>5660298
It was official in the manga but the anime practically had the same thing by having Shin work with Trunks. Warning and helping him. But since the entire thing was rushed out and lampshaded, its only natural that all future material base itself on the manga version as the definitive version.
>>
>>5660371
I mean, he would have to be to some degree with Frieza's DNA, right? To me, being able to naturally survive in a vacuum implies some level of radiation resistance given how prevalent it is in a lot of areas.
>>
>>5660371
I’m sure it would break him down. But he could just keep regenerating Deadpool-style. A giant living tumor.
>>5660404
To be fair, DDF is pure hax.
>>5660432
We may eventually see. After all, only anime/movie content has been adapted out into other things, not manga content.
>>5660451
To some degree, it would be logical. But to what extent is never seen and best not assume
>>
>>5660453
DDF is the delete button, but if a mf is strong enough it can resist being erased
>>
>>5660453
Kakarot already adapted the manga version, and I think other games like Xenoverse have followed that template.
>>
>>5660454
>but if a mf is strong enough it can resist being erased
No. IF Divine Dragon Force hits, you’re done. Unless you can flee the dimension to another one like a certain imp did, or undo the attack from happening entirely like LER, you will fall.
>>5660456
Kakarot may have, but XV2 adopted the anime versions. Last I checked anyways, unless Moro/Granolah arc things have released unannounced.
>>
>>5660625
Doomsday could still fight back is what I meant.
>>
>>5660639
I think anybody with enough pain tolerance and willpower could still throw out non-energy based attacks provided they don't panic once they realize they're fucked.
>>
>>5660666
I was more concerned the golem would take a chunk off and try to chuck it before disappearing. Thankfully we BTF out the thing and the pissed on the Green Lantern corp
>>
>>5660639
So could most, as it is not instantaneous death. But most beings tend to panic, realizing that they are about to die and there is no way to stop it.
>>5660666
Yes. Once hit they no longer have control over their own energy, but other powers would still theoretically work. Such as magic, power given by a mantle or title like Kai of Time or Destroyer, etc.
>>5660669
One thing most iterations of Doomsday aren't worried about is self-preservation. Thankfully.
>>
>>5660713
Thankfully Doomsday wasn't ready for Karnagegeddon.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 195 Epilogue Ii-

AGE 755, SACRED PLANET OF THE KAIS

“i didn't think-” you hear Shin, the current Supreme Kai saying as you appear, only to be immediately interrupted by a far more curmudgeonly voice.
“Precisely, you DIDN'T think!” the Elder Kai squawks, no doubt ready to go on another tirade against his junior's failings. But, just as he's taking a deep breath in, you speak up.
“Your tea, honored elder.” you say softly, the wizened old Kai immediately turning his gaze from the clearly chastised Kai to you.
“Ah, Kars, thank you.” Elder Kai says, taking one teacup from the tray and taking a sip. “Ahh, perfectly balanced. Why aren't you more like Kars, Shin? He wasn't even born a Kai, yet far better exemplifies how one should carry themself!”

You smirk to yourself as the Supreme Kai mutters an apology to his ancestor, walking over and handing him a filled teacup as well. He graciously accepts, nodding slightly to you as you step back. You are Kars, the perfect being. Yet despite your perfection and recent ascension into godhood and hundred thousand years of life, you are still no more than a child to ones such as them. After all, you'd asked the Elder Kai his age, and were shocked to learn that he was not only the fifteenth generation of Supreme Kai for Universe 7, but that he himself is in fact over seventy five MILLION years old. Absolutely dwarfing Shin's age of around 5 million years, which you had previously thought was ancient. But now you can see that, now as a Kai, that you have quite the lifespan to look forward to.

“And I bet even HE has noticed those two troublesome new deities are about to throw down in the mortal realm!” the elder continues, your pointed ears perking up at this. You hadn't heard of any actual deities about to go to war, but if this is what you think it is, then you are aware. After all, you've been paying close attention to any news regarding THAT family. Not even that damnable JoJo was able to actually HURT you in this form, but Karn's eldest son was. Only a fool would discredit and ignore such a massive threat. “If two gods go to war, the results could be calamitous!”

“Wait, what? Two deities are about to fight? Which ones? Please, honored elder, tell me!” Shin exclaims, suddenly very worried. “Where are they?”
“Here, I'll show you.” he says, turning to his crystal ball on the table and holding out his hands. You watch as as image begins appearing, you seeing the familiar face of the universe's most popular and worshiped Saiyan: Chaya. Daughter of Karn, the one man who poses the single greatest threat to divine order in the universe.
>>
>>5661634
“Wait, isn't that one of Karn's children?” Shin asks, surprising you that he could recognize her that much. You hadn't expected him to even know that much, as out of touch as he is with the goings on with such a dangerous family. Especially with the eldest daughter's recent ascension to godhood. “Wait, who is going to the mortal realm to fight a child?”
“I believe that your honored elder is meaning that she's going to fight that young woman who stole divine power. Tanya, I believe her name is.” you tell him, the elder Kai nodding once in approval. “They fought once before, not long after Tanya stole her divine power from one of King Yemma's subordinate deities. But I don't understand one thing, honored elder. How would a Saiyan acquire such power?”

“Through devoted worship.” the Supreme Kai Shin says, confusing you. “The power of divinity is one not usually obtained by themselves. It comes from the collective hopes, dreams, aspirations, and sometimes fears of mortals. But most importantly, it is about belief. If enough mortals believe in a deity, their power grows. Which is why most gods of individual worlds seek praise from the mortals that occupy them. It strengthens their powers, allowing them greater reach and influence.”
“Yes, precisely.” Elder Kai adds in, it annoying you that Shin still somehow knows more of divinity than you do, despite your efforts to surpass his knowledge and one day take his place. “Which is why us Kais, and Destroyers like Lord Beerus can wield such power. As our powers represent two sides of the same coin.”

“Life and death.” you mutter, Elder Kai's face lighting up excitedly as you understand. Instantly you understand far more than what was said, comprehending how this power not only functions but the mechanics behind it as well.
“Precisely! As a Kai, but even more so as a Supreme Kai, your job is to create.” Elder Kai says, probably assuming you don't now comprehend how the relationship between Supreme Kai and God of Destruction work. “The Supreme Kais all create worlds and populate them with life, watching over that life and cultivating it. While the Destroyers of each universe play the opposite role.”

“Culling those who have no potential for greatness, or those beings that have become obsolete.” you say, seeing a flicker of something across the old Kai's face. You aren't sure if it is approval, shock, or worry, but his face immediately returns to a neutral mask. “The universe is finite, and room must be made for new life. Speaking of, when IS Lord Beerus supposed to awaken? We have so many dead worlds in need of culling, he has much work to do once he awakens.”

>>5661636
“I would not presume to tell Lord Beerus what to do.” Elder Kai warns you seriously, raising a finger and waving it in admonishment. “He and I had a minor disagreement about some trivial thing. And where he couldn't risk destroying me, lest he himself die, he instead bound me inside that old sword. Lord Beerus is NOT one to trifle with.”
“I understand, honored elder.” you say to him, bowing at the waist. You hear him murmur something in approval, you looking up to see his face is worried. “Should he awaken, I shall mind my manners to the utmost.”

“See that you do.” he says, but you can feel the worry radiating from him. Whether that worry is directed towards you possibly offending the great and powerful

“Unfortunately, he is going to be awake the year after next.” the Supreme Kai Shin says, speaking up and surprising you both. “He will be going to the world of the Saiyans, seeking out a being known as the Super Saiyan God.”
“Super Saiyan God?” you and to your surprise Elder Kai both ask, you looking to him in shock.
“It was on Planet Vegeta, almost 20 years ago.” Shin says, telling you of what happened. “He sought out the Super Saiyan, hoping to find a being called the Super Saiyan God. Before he returned to his own planet, he had asked me to inform Whis should I find any information on it. And I fear that Karn's daughter, with this divine power, may in fact be this Super Saiyan God.”

“She could be. Or, there may be another.” you say, feeling a bit smug. After all, you've been spending your spare time focusing on improving your own power, mastering the combination of your Super Saiyan and divine power. Who knows, perhaps this Super Saiyan Rose power is actually this Super Saiyan God? “After all, there is one more who wields Saiyan power.”
“Ah yes, I'd almost forgot.” the Elder Kai says, sounding somewhat dismissive. “Why don't you power up, so when Chaya assumes her divine form again, we can compare?”

“Of course.” you say, clenching your fists and with a short shout ascend. Divine and mortal energies mix and surge, bringing your power up thousands if not tens of thousands of times what it was before.
“Good. Now make sure you maintain it for the duration of the fight, I wish to compare your powers firsthand.” Elder Kai says as you walk over, peering in to see that young Saiyan woman emerge from a burning wreck. She steps out, looking angry and ready for war.
“Anything you say, honored elder.” you tell him, watching as she clenches her fists, powering up. And as she does, you can feel it: the strength of the divine flowing through her once more as you think to yourself. “Show me this power, this so-called strength of worship.”

Boy you are putting our daughter in danger, and cruising for a fisting.
>Elder Kai says as you walk over, peering in to see that young Saiyan woman emerge from a burning wreck. She steps out, looking angry and ready for war.
The second Karn knows Beerus dies when you die, your head is good as gone

Glad you enjoyed
>>
>>5661653
I think the universe actually is finite in the DB universe. zeno set the size when he made all the universes.
>>
I have to wonder if Old Kai is aware of Kars' ulterior motives with his incessant brown nosing.
Also, is he still rolling around the idea of trying to get Shin demoted?
>>
>>5661678
Yes, they all have the same amount of “space” to occupy.
>>5661793
To some extent, certainly. However, Kars does show him proper respect.
Absolutely. However, such a plan won’t come to fruition in even Meloka Wolbach’s lifetine.
>>
>>5662024
>Absolutely. However, such a plan won’t come to fruition in even Meloka Wolbach’s lifetine.
At the rate he's going, no. But I'm sure he's smart enough to realize that and why waiting is a fool's game in the first place.
>>
>>5662049
He’s not going to pointlessly kill someone, even one like Shin, that can possess certain knowledge he is unaware of. And with both Karn and Cold’s animosity towards him, better to stay in the successor seat for now. If one of them take Shin out, he’ll ascend the position without ever dirtying his hands. And with Beerus seeking out this Super Saiyan God, he may be heading towards his own doom. Don’t want to tie your life to someone like that currently
>>
>>5662092
I'm not saying he should just murder Shin in cold blood, much as I would like to see that happen.
I'm saying he should be thinking of ways to speed up the "natural" occurrence of events that'll lead to Shin's demotion or long overdue demise.
On that note, I'm sure Beerus' awakening will present more than a few opportunities to turn yet another key player against Shin, so here's hoping.
>>
>>5662092
>spoiler
If the cat actually bites it, who would possibly replace him? I'd imagine having a significant gap of time where the destroyer and the supreme kai don't exist would leave the universe in a very vulnerable state
>>
>>5662107
Old Kai could probably take on an interim position and make a request to Zeno to start scouting out candidates for a new God of Destruction.
As for who those candidates would be, I'm torn between Meloka and Frieza.
Meloka is almost garaunteed to have access to Divine ki at that point, so training her as a GoD is a natural choice.
However, Frieza is feared and respected by countless people across his Empire, something that lends itself to being a very powerful deity. Not to mention he's never not going to be one of the strongest creatures in existence AND already had permission from the previous GoD to destroy planets.
Past that...maybe Chaya? She's got Divine Ki and fans out the ass.
That or maybe Karn Jr. depending on how his development pans out.
>>
24 hours left

>>5662097
His current plan is to replace Shin within 150 years. Which is nothing to him.
>>5662107
With how the 7th currently is, Freeza would be a contender.
>>5662118
Old Kai would pass it to Kars, staying only in an advisory role as his time is long over.
If Freeza wasn’t found acceptable, for whatever reason, it would be a being from an outside universe. Beerus and Champa weren’t raised in the 6th and 7th, after all.
>>
>>5662137
>Freeza would be a contender.
That sounds fucking awesome.
>>
>>5662137
Oh goody, only a mere 150 years, might as well be next week too him. Fucking Kai's.
>With how the 7th currently is, Freeza would be a contender.
He is the contender, but the question is, would he take the mantel?
>Old Kai would pass it to Kars, staying only in an advisory role as his time is long over.
That isn't good.
>it would be a being from an outside universe. Beerus and Champa weren’t raised in the 6th and 7th, after all.
Kinda like the UN gestapo.
>>
>>5662147
This has been known, he's been shown as a GoD in training in some of the older epilogues.
Outside of his fraternization with a "threat to all existence" or his hypothetical refusal of the mantle, I can't imagine why he wouldn't end up in that position in this timeline.
>>
>>5662164
>That isn't good.
It isn't, if you're a Joestar probably. I get the feeling that Kars's current ambitions won't interfere with our business unless we make it our business. But if it is our problem, chances are he'll just wait for our entire family's biological clocks to run out. I think if there's an agreement to stay off eachother's lawns, there won't be an issue.
>>
>>5662176
Ya know, for as evil as Kars is, he's at the very least competent.
Couple that with the eternal leash around his neck in Whis and I honestly don't think we have much to worry about from him...until his pet project breaks loose and we have to deal with it.
But the probably won't be for another few years at least I hope.
>>
>>5662147
He has the temperament, ability, and most importantly willingness to destroy.
>>5662164
When you consider Kars is only a hundred thousand years old, and now with Kai dna could live as long as Elder Kai, 150 years is a rather aggressive plan. But he has a vision.
Why not? After Karn’s eventual death, due to either old age or death in battle, he’d need something to occupy himself.
Why not? Would you prefer Kibito?
Ha, not exactly wrong.
>>5662166
Someone else may be appointed first, due to Grand Zeno potentially getting involved. But that’s unlikely, at best.
>>5662176
He has decided that the Joestar bloodline can all go fuck off into obscurity on their own little world and leave the rest of the universe to him. He has far grander ambitions than that one planet, and won’t endanger them with personal grudges ever again.
After what Chilli showed him, he’s NOT eager to come to blows with the Karn clan ever again. Knowing he’s lived less than a 50th, at a minimum of his potential lifespan, he’s not going to endanger that by engaging in direct battle. Better to live forever than die in a fight you needn’t have even fought.
>>5662190
Yes. Competence is something Elder Kai recognized immediately as a difference between Kars and Shin. Competence, discipline, self-improvement, ambition, all things Kars has that Shin does not.
>pet project
Elder Kai, despite pretending to the contrary, KNOWS about it.
>>
>>5662214
>Elder Kai, despite pretending to the contrary, KNOWS about it.
Of course he does, which is why I'm convinced that it's going to spiral out of contro.
It's the only way Kars would learn from the ordeal and never do it again.
>>
>>5662214
>150 years is a rather aggressive plan. But he has a vision.
What, wait the equivalent of a two week notice for Shin to get his shit and leave?
>Why not? After Karn’s eventual death, due to either old age or death in battle, he’d need something to occupy himself.
I guess? I just worry for him even after all that time.
>Why not? Would you prefer Kibito?
I'd prefer Zero Kais
>due to Grand Zeno potentially getting involved. But that’s unlikely, at best.
The toddler just kinda sits on a throne playing with reality marbles.
>He has decided that the Joestar bloodline can all go fuck off into obscurity on their own little world and leave the rest of the universe to him. He has far grander ambitions than that one planet, and won’t endanger them with personal grudges ever again.
Bold lesson, lets see if he sticks with it.

This shit is why he scares me, nothing more threatening than a smart opponent.
>Competence is something Elder Kai recognized immediately as a difference between Kars and Shin. Competence, discipline, self-improvement, ambition, all things Kars has that Shin does not.
Shin is a fuckwit that could stand a mortal beating.
>Elder Kai, despite pretending to the contrary, KNOWS about it.

>>

Every Supreme Kai has made somelife form they regret. After all, someone had to have made the Godslayers Elder Kai feared so greatly.
>>5662275
>two week notice
Ha! More like training your replacement without knowing that’s who they are.
>Bold lesson, lets see if he sticks with it.
Why not? Mortals live ~100 years, give it a thousand and he can perhaps visit that world again and see if the Joestars haven’t been wiped out yet.
>This shit is why he scares me, nothing more threatening than a smart opponent.
Very true. Luckily he doesn’t see you as an opponent. More like a dangerous animal to give an extra-wide berth.
>So when shit hits the fan, he will be axed next.
Maybe. Depends on jow he acts I suppose
>>
>>5662285
>Luckily he doesn’t see you as an opponent
He's lucky we don't see HIM as an opponent, but I digress.
>More like a dangerous animal to give an extra-wide berth.
I'd take offense to that if it weren't accurate.
Now I'm just curious as to what exactly he's cooking up and why.
>>
>>5662285
> Luckily he doesn’t see you as an opponent. More like a dangerous animal to give an extra-wide berth.
A very apt description. Glad I was on the money with Kars not being interested in trying to throw down with us. Why poke the bear off the beaten road that could maul you to death when you could stick to the tourist trail and gain new experience that's more useful and less life threatening to obtain?
>>
>tfw reading thread and ready for when beerus inevitably shows up, fucks up and commits suicide by karn
i'm still convinced beerus will hakai new salda out of butthurt and get ripped apart by sheer karn rage.
