Welcome to Yu Ishigami Quest!

I've recently been on a huge Kaguya-sama: Love is War kick and was itching to run something related to it. Don't worry! This isn't replacing Kill la Kill Quest. Ideally I'll probably be alternating between the two of them. Yu is my favorite character in the entire series and I think he just the right amount of established while also having enough empty space in his story compared to someone like Shirogane or Fujiwara to run a quest.

This quest is going to be a little different in regards to how things work as well! Yu is going to have stats that will level up over the course of the quest! Which will improve his chances to succeed (or fail) at making rolls! I think this going to be a fun time and I hope you all join me for the ride.

Well the dates check out. Let's see how this quest goes then. I know nothing about this series other than the pink-hair girl is cute and that's about it

You make your way to the student council room after a day of class and put the finanicals on the president's desk.

"Here you go prez." you say voice as monotone as ever.

"Ah thank you Ishigami." The President smile softly as he takes the info.

President, or Miyuki Shirogane. He's incredibly popular at the school, top of the class. He made it into Shuchiin purely off of academics, not many people have managed that, it's earned him the eyes and ire of a bunch of different students.

As for how he reached out to you to join the council.... well that's something you can reminisce on some other time.

"Hey Ishigami."

You look to the President

"Why don't you hang around the club room more? I know you've said this isn't exactly your scene but, I think it'd be good for you." he says

Hah, that's a laugh. You don't know why he'd even suggest such a thing... although huh that's odd. Any other day you would've declined and headed back home but for some reason... today... you want to take him up on his offer.

Fujiwara babbles some nonsense under her breath you don't fully understand and eventually you all get into your roles. This is actually... pretty nice, why did you never decide to sit in with the team before?

"Oh that reminds me!" Fujiwara pipes up, she reaches into her bag and pulls out two movie tickets. "My parents gave me these but I'm not really interested in the movie would anyone like to go see it?"

Oh hey that looks nice, maybe you should- ...why did the air in the room suddenly get heavier? You turn to see the President glaring daggers at.... KAGUYA???

"Come to think of it, I have a rare free weekend." the president says "So, Shinomiya, why don't we—"

"Supposedly there's a jinx if a boy and a girl go see this movie together, they'll become a couple!" Fujiwara pipes up "How romantic!"

Really? What a lame rumor, something as dumb as that would immediately make two people fall in love. Who would honestly believe-

"Oh, Shirogane, did you just invite me?" Kaguya asks "You want to go with me to a movie in which males and females are said to become a couple if they see it together."

Wait... actually...

"Oh, dear-" Kaguya continues "-that sounds a lot like..."

A Date! Wait so the rumors of these two being together? Are they...? Or maybe they're fighting for a confession?

You proceed to zone them out as the two continue to talk back and forth about this, you opt to just get back to work ironing out the finances. Huh, the spread isn't too bad this month, clubs seem to be well within spending limits. Huh, the public morals committe is asking for more money? For what they don't even do-

"Huh?" you respond out of instinct

"Do you agree?" Kaguya says with a sweet smile, eyes closed softly, yet in spite of that you feel an almost demonic amount killing intent.

"Yeah Ishigami, do you?" the president follows up, equally intense.

"Yeah do you!" Chika commnets, wanting to be included

That seems to throw the two presidents off guard who suddenly begin to stutter

"So I've decided I won't share the tickets and keep this friendship secure!"

You see Kaguya and the Prez react in horror at that comment, they both want to say something but it seems like they're losing energy at an alarming rate. Both of them seem to look to the bun on the table, Chika actually seems distracted by her ongoing speech so Kaguya and the President reach for it.

After a while eventually the club room returns to normal and all of you go back to your regular duties.

"I brushed past it earlier but I do think it's great to see you here ishigami." Kaguya says

You all nod and head out for the day. You return home, today was actually a very eventful day you feel... accomplished? It's small but you feel really good! Maybe this really is a new start for you! From now on you're gonna start on the path to be a new and improved Ishigami!

Kaguya seems genuinely caught off guard by your interference but seems to quickly recover "Hmph, such things don't matter to me!"

You raise your eyebrow and look to her, the president practically chokes.

"Even if it would be forbidden, would that not make the fruit of love taste ever sweeter?" She hugs herself and turns her body away from the president.

"Come on now you can't truly be serious about this can you?!" President slams the desk as he leans towards her

"I'm willing to give my body and soul for this person should it come to it!" She answers back

She's clearly lying, you can tell as much. But President's emotions are causing him to lose the advantage you gave him. Hmmmm...

Curious about the current goings on in the clubroom, you decided to ask a simple question.

The President looks to you before he can't help but allow his face to break into a grin.

The Vice President turns away at that question, you can't see her face but it's incredibly easy to tell that she doesn't like the sound of that.

"I-I w-wouldddddddd......." she looks incredibly frustrated that she'd just been caught in a trap she hadn't anticipated.

The two of you (and Chika) stare her down and she tries to muster of the courage to speak but-

"I don't have to answer thaaaattttttttttt!!!!" Kaguya says running out of the clubroom.
