With the defeat of Majin Buu and the Remnants at the Battle of Namek, peace has come to the Seventh Universe. With no imminent battles to fight or wars to wage, the Saiyans have enjoyed their first long-term peace since their ancestors first landed on Planet Vegeta all those years ago. Yet this peacetime hasn't slowed the progress of the warrior race known as the Saiyans, whose power have continued to grow day after day. Foremost among this warrior race is the Fateless man known as the “Dragon of New Salda” and the first Super Saiyan to have appeared in a thousand years.

You the players play as this warrior named Karn, a man who has grown from a brawler with a powerlevel less than three thousand to now being the strongest of his kind, wielding the ancient emerald power of the Berserker and father of nearly a dozen children with his wife Meloka. After mastering the Yardratian ability known as Spirit Control, your power has grown beyond all previous limits.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Karn and Freeza came to an understanding, Broly attained the high level of Primal Saiyan. Where he then went after Freeza, Karn stepping in when he got a message from Arctus asking for help and taking his son there. Where Karn came face-to-face with the New God Darkseid, learning that even his Ascended Berserker power and Broly's new Primal strength combined weren't a match for him. But Divine Dragon Force's unique power destroyed the divine being's body. However, it didn't kill Darkseid, Mechikabura warning Karn that he cannot truly defeat that monster without his help. But after visiting with Chilli and spending some quality time with his granddaughter, we rejoin Karn as the alarm klaxon for the Crimson Demon Village rings out.

“Alert! Alert! Golden dragon sighted, approaching from the Northeast!” the artificial voice calls, your son sighing out. His entire body is then immediately encased in his magic crystals, which then shatters and reveals he's armed himself for war. His sword appears in his right hand, staff in his left, hat and robe on as well.
“Need a hand?” you ask him, your son looking at you then his wife for a moment.
“Sure, I could use some backup.” your son replies, you passing your granddaughter over to her mother.

“Aaaah?” little Meloka Wolbach asks, reaching out to you as her small brows furrow.
“Haha, I'll be right back kiddo.” you say, ruffling her hair. “Just have to back your daddy up, okay?”
“Oooooaaaaah!” she replies, turning and clutching to her mother as you look to your son.
“Following your lead Chilli.” you tell him, your son nodding and heading to the stairs. You follow him up, the two of you ascending to the roof, then as he readies to take to the air you expand your ki sense. Sure enough, you sense powerful ki approaching. However, there are two massive energies, and one far weaker ki all approaching the village. “Do you feel that?”

“Feel what?” he asks, then after a moment his entire demeanor changes. The tension leaves his body, and instead of blasting off towards the dragon, instead simply grabs the crenelation and vaults over, landing softly on the ground. You follow suit, landing beside him as your son reaches down, planting his staff in the ground then creating some sort of symbol in the ground. Once it's finished, your son then pulls his staff free, you looking up and seeing a small golden figure in the air growing larger and larger. Sure enough it's a dragon, but then your confusion only grows. The large ki signatures aren't coming from the dragon, but are instead the two tiny figures that are seemingly riding it. What is going on?

“Don't worry Dad, they're allies.” Chilli tells you, you feeling a brow raise in confusion. He turns back towards the village, no doubt telling them telepathically that these newcomers aren't a threat. “They work for Ainz.”
“Who's Ainz?” you ask him, not immediately recalling the name as the dragon flies ever closer. It approaches the mountaintop your son built his home on, circling once before descending down towards the sigil he'd drawn.

“He's the skeleton overlord I told you about, the one with the army of monsters.” he tells you, the dragon landing on the center of the symbol. You vaguely remember the conversation, your son declining your help to destroy them. He said that he'd worked out a truce with them after damaging their base, but the fact they could force him to the negotiation table had made you worry a little bit. But as the dragon lands, you see a pair of what look like children hop down, presumably a boy and a girl. “Aura, Mare. How have you two been?”

“Hey Lord Chilli! Doin' great! Hi there” the one wearing pants says, waving casually to you both as the other hides timidly behind her? Or is it a him? You aren't entirely sure, the long-eared children seem off to you somehow, but you can't place it. “Wait, is this guy your dad?”
“Yes. Aura, Mare, this is my father. General Karn, the Dragon of New Salda.” your son says, gesturing rather extravagantly towards you. “We were just catching up after he fought another god.”
“Hello there.” you say, the skirt-wearing one hiding behind the other. Who, to your surprise, doesn't seem intimidated in the slightest.
“So you're his dad, huh?” the one in front says, looking you up and down before turning to your son. “And here I thought you were exaggerating.”

Well? How do you react to this?

“Why would I exaggerate about my old man?” your son asks, a note of pride in his voice. “My dad's the strongest man in the universe.”
“He's plenty strong, But whatever god you were fighting seems to have put you through your paces.” the youngling says, turning their focus to you. “You okay?”
“I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?” you ask, then as if on cue feel a rather cool breeze blow across your bare chest and back. Remembering that you've not changed out of your destroyed clothes from the battle with Darkseid. Or even gotten healed from the injuries you'd sustained. “Barely got a few scratches.”

“Umm, I can, umm.” the more timid of the children says, holding their staff to her chest. “I can at least heal you, a...a little bit.”
“I'd appreciate it.” you say, smiling down at the young-seeming creature. Who then holds their staff in both hands, pointing it towards you.
“Mid Cure Wounds.” the child says, a magic circle appearing around the end of their wooden staff. You then feel energy surge into you, rushing throughout your body. It feels similar to your daughter Caulifla's healing magic, or miracles as she calls them. “D-Does that feel better?”
“Perfect. Appreciate it.” you say, the young mage blushing a bit while holding their staff to their chest. Then the other one speaks up, confirming the confused feeling you'd had.

“My brother's pretty good with magic.” the other one says, pointing to the staff wielder. Which confuses you a bit, as the one wearing the skirt is a boy? Then is the other also a boy, or a girl? Either way, they're quite strange creatures.
“Aura, why are you two here?” Chilli says, steering the conversation. “Did something happen?”

You let your son handle his allies, you standing by silently and watching over them all. As they talk about something called Data Crystals, you do look over at the dragon, wondering how different a golden dragon tastes to a white one. But as you see the small boy turning back to the beast, seemingly whispering to it while laying a hand on it, you decide against saying anything. Some thoughts are better kept to yourself.

“In your message, you'd told Lord Ainz that you have had a breakthrough with the Data Crystals.” Aura says, hands behind her head casually. “So, we're here to see what you've done.”
“Alright, give me a moment.” he replies, taking his great dragon bone sword off his shoulder and thrusting it tip-first into the ground. He then reaches into his robe, pulling out a small, pale blue crystal. “Here.”

“Wait, you MADE one?” Aura asks, eyes widening in surprise. “You actually made a Data Crystal?”
“Not quite. I didn't make it from scratch.” your son says. “But I did manage to replicate one of the ones your master gave me. By breaking one of the crystals, I can grow each of the shattered pieces into a full Data Crystal with the attributes of the whole it came from.”

“So, you're saying you can't make new ones, but can replicate the ones we already have?” Mare asks, the long eared child's eyes going wide. “Can you copy one with a being sealed inside it?”
“I have no idea. But I wouldn't mind testing one to see what happens.” your son replies to him. “Do you all have more to experiment with?”
“You bet we do! Mare, get the chest.” Aura says, the staff-wielder going to the dragon and taking a rather large chest from its back and walking over. The young boy sets it down between Aura and Chilli before pointing his staff at it, muttering something under his breath. Then you watch as his spell activates, magic circle appearing around the chest and flashing a moment before it opens. Revealing dozens of other crystals, some larger and others smaller.

“So, what's so important about these crystals?” you ask to them all. “What are they good for?”
“These crystals are from our original homeworld of YGGDRASIL.” Aura says, reaching down and picking one of the larger crystals up. “These crystals would drop from the monsters of that world, allowing the Supreme Beings to create and modify anything.”
“Anything?” you ask, shocked.
“Yes, anything.” the child says, drawing their weapon. “Like my whip Queen here, gifted to me by my creator Bukubukuchagama. Or Albedo's special armor, Shalltear's Spuit Lance, really all of us Floor Guardian's equipment were made with these Data Crystals.”

“So, they allow for customizing your items?” you ask, the young Floor Guardian nodding.
“By infusing the crystals into rare, high-quality weapons and armor, you can customize their properties.” Chilli says, raising his empty right hand and creating something from his crystals. You all watch as the crystals form into a sword-like shape, then shatter to reveal-
“What?” you say, looking from the weapon in his hand to the sword in the ground by him. “Hold on. Did you make a SECOND one of that sword?”

“Yep. By using one of those crystals I regrew from a shard, I was able to infuse it into one of the normal dragon tail bone swords I'd made to make a second Moonlight Greatsword.” he says, sounding rather proud of his handiwork. Tucking his staff away inside his robes, he then picks up the original sword in his left, holding them both out to show you all them both side-by-side. Looking from one to the other, you can't actually tell any difference between the two of them. He then grins, turning from all of you out towards the empty, magic-scarred plains and raises both weapons straight overhead. They both begin glowing with magical power, your son then swinging both straight down with a shout of “HAAAA!” Firing twinned blades of magical power that slice through the air for several dozen feet before fading away. He then rests both blades on his shoulders, turning back to you all. “So, take this with you to show your master that my technique is legitimate.”

He then flips the copied sword around, thrusting it point-first into the ground beside the chest before lifting the box up into his open palm with telekinesis. Aura reaches out to take the sword, putting her whip away and taking it in both hands to draw the blade free. And immediately almost falls over backwards, the youngling struggling to balance the weapon's weight.

“Wow. This thing's surprisingly heavy.” Aura says, balancing the weapon after a moment, then swinging it back and forth. “How do you handle this thing so easily?”
“Just have to practice.” Chilli replies casually. You can sense a hint of smugness in his reply, the woman taking a cloth after a few moments and carefully wrapping the blade. “Let your Lord Ainz know that, if he has any more of those powerful crystals, or any specific gear he wants crafted, to send it over and let me know.”
“We will tell him.” Aura replies, turning to her brother. “Come on, Mare. We need to take this back immediately. Lord Ainz will want to know.”

“R-Right.” the timid brother replies, turning to you and Chilli both and bowing before leaping up onto the dragon's back. Aura leaps up as well, waiving to the two of you as the beast starts flapping its wings. It takes to the air, flying away back towards the northeast. But as they go, Chilli doesn't immediately turn to head back inside. Instead he watches them until they're little more than a speck on the horizon, then turns to you. He doesn't say anything, clearly expecting you to say something.

But what do you say?

“Those things are quite impressive. But can you use them on something besides a weapon?” you ask him seriously. “For example, something like my Soulstone?”
“Maybe. But I don't know if your stone will count as already enchanted or not.” your son answers, raising a hand to his chin as he ponders. Where you notice he's growing a bit of stubble, which is surprising. Has he really grown up so much on you? “Mind handing it over for a moment?”

“Sure, no problem.” you say, reaching down into your boot and drawing the small, irregularly-shaped emerald gem out. You offer it to your son, who you see is rummaging through the box. A second later he draws out a crystal that's even larger than your Soulstone, holding it up towards your outstretched hand.
“Let's see...” your son mutters, peering at the crystal in your hand through the crystal he's holding. But only for a moment, lowering the item in his hand and shaking his head. “Sorry, but it can't be enchanted any further.”

“That's all good, was just curious about it.” you tell him, returning the stone to its storage compartment in your boot. Rising back up to your feet, you see him again stroking his chin as he's deep in thought, sword in the ground beside him.
“I probably can't enchant your sword any further. But...” he says, you realizing what he's getting at. “If I were to have a second sword made of similar metals, I could probably copy your Wolf Knight sword and make you a second one.”
“Huh, now there's a thought.” you say, thinking it over. “Having a backup could be great. It's really good against the Dark.”
“That it is. Just bring it around some time, and I'll see what I can do.” Chilli tells you. But then his brows furrow a bit, turning and looking towards the south. “But that'll be for another day, I do have other projects today.”

“Of course, I'm in no rush.” you tell him. “Besides, with your Crystal magic, you can probably have as many of those Data Crystals as you could ever want.”
“Well, I don't actually use my Crystal magic to copy them.” Chilli says to you. “That was what Ainz, and I also thought I could do at first. But to create more of them, I do need to use my Chaos magic.”
“Wait, what?” you ask, knowing that that particular magic is why that stupid mask god tried to murder him.
“It's really simple.” First, I break a crystal. Like this.” Chilli says, breaking a chunk off of the crystal in his hands. He pockets the tiny sliver, then holds the rest out in front of him with his telekinesis while his hands glow with light and dark magical energy. “Chaos Magic: Chaos Barrier!”

Then he slams both magical orbs into the crystal, both engulfing it as their magics merge. You watch as the light and dark magics swirl, mixing and merging together to form a solid grey orb in the air.

“Perfect.” he says, taking a step back and drawing the sliver of crystal out of his pocket. Holding it up in his right hand, he then calls out another spell. “Dark Magic: True Dark.”

And everything turns pitch-black. You can't see anything, only able to tell where your son is with your ki sense.

“Now to make this one whole. Light Magic: Light Absorbtion.” he says, then you see light. Radiating out from the crystal in his hand, rapidly being absorbed into the darkness. Then, to your shock, you see the rest of the crystal suddenly appear, recombined as if they were never apart. The moment the crystal is made whole, your son ends the spells. The world returns to normal, your son holding onto the new whole crystal. Which he hands over to you, giving you an explanation as he ends the spell of the grey orb, catching it with his telekinesis. “Can't have them touch, as they're the same matter and would try to recombine.”

He then drops the crystal with the cracked off portion still missing back into the chest, closing it then lifting the whole thing with his telekinesis before grabbing his sword.

“Looks like you've got things under control here, keep up the good work son.” you tell him, offering to take the box for him which he declines. You follow him back into the tower through the roof access, your son setting the box down beside a worktable covered in different small metal and crystal implements, stacks of glass jars in boxes lining one half of the room. “What are those?”
“Those? Oh, they're my Crystal Barriers.” he says, turning to the stacked boxes and pulling one of the round containers out. Which you can then see is filled with his magical crystals, somehow floating in the middle like the inside of one of your wife's Hellflower orbs. “I make and sell these to the lesser fighters of this world who need protection from monsters or people, making them shields of my magic just by breaking the bottle. Most things on this planet aren't strong enough to break one of my shields once it activates, so there is a high demand.”

“No wonder so many other factions want your help.” you say, your son turning thoughtful for a moment while looking back to the bottle. He then puts it back, hanging his swords on a pair of wall mounts before heading back down, you following him back to where Megumin and Meloka Wolbach are waiting.

As you focus, you see your granddaughter looking up at you with wide eyes, then look down at her right hand. She then slaps herself clumsily in the face, a childish mirror of you doing your technique. Which makes you grin as you vanish, focused on your wife's ki. You then teleport directly to her side, leaving your son's planet behind as you return to New Salda once more. You find that your wife is standing atop your home, Karn Jr standing there on his little legs before the two of you.

“There you are. How are Chilli, Megumin and Meloka Wolbach?” your wife asks, glancing from your youngest son to you.
“They're fine, Chilli just wanted some advice.” you reply, looking back and forth from your wife to Karn Jr. “What's going on?”
“Practice!” Karn Jr exclaims happily. “I'm workin' on control!”
“Always important.” you reply to your enthusiastic son, telepathically reaching out to Megumin. “Control of...?”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K61rG1hxBwA

“You'll see.” she replies aloud, smirking a bit as she returns her focus back to Karn Jr. “Are you ready?”
“READY!” your son shouts, Meloka nodding. She then lifts up into the air, your son following. You join as well, your wife rising far enough above the island then nods to him.
“Go.” Meloka says simply, your only naturally blonde haired son clenching his fists. His golden aura blazes up around him, then sparks start dancing around him as his powerlevel spikes. Instantly it doubles, quadruples, within a few seconds his powerlevel has risen by a magnitude. But he's only just getting started.

“HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Karn Jr bellows, aura doubling in size as his power continues to climb. The waves begin to be pushed back away from your home as the pressure waves from him radiate, his power continuing its meteoric rise. “HIYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”
“Woah. He's really going all out.” you say, turning to Meloka. “This is what you've been training him on for the past bit?”
“Exactly.” your wife replies, smiling as he continues screaming out into the sky. “He needed to learn how to master this power, so he wouldn't accidentally break anything else. Or anyONE else.”

“HRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” Karn Jr roars, you watching as his hair starts to lengthen and grow down his back while he's doubled over, sparks dancing angrily around his small body. Your son's powerlevel continues shooting higher and higher,

“Woah, I knew it!” Maz shouts, both he and his sister rushing up and out from under the house and taking to the air. Both are in their Super Saiyan forms, yet Karn Jr's might has already far surpassed their own. And continues to climb even higher. “Karn Jr's going Three again!”
“So cool!” Kayle says, the two flying over to their mother. “I wanna go three too!”
“Yeah, me too! Me too!” Maz says, your wife laughing and scooping each of them up in an arm.

“I know both of you are eager to copy my form, but you have to Ascend first.” your wife tells them, both of the younger children “Aawwww”ing at not immediately getting their way. But they get over that momentary disappointment almost immediately, cheering on their brother as he continues to power up.

“Come on Junior, you can do it!” Kayle calls to him.
“Yeah! Do it!” Maz adds, Karn Jr unleashing a final, throat-splitting scream.
“Hiyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!” he roars, disappearing in a blinding flash of light. But then it's over, the light fading to reveal his current strongest form. Super Saiyan Three. He takes a deep breath in, slowly exhaling as he opens his eyes towards you and your wife, plus his older siblings. But that calm demeanor only lasts a second, his eyes widening as he looks back over his shoulder, seeing his golden mane. “I did it! I'm still me!”
“Yes you did. You seem to be fully in control of it this time.” your wife says, you sensing that it's true. His power is stable, not dramatically rising or falling but remaining even. “Well done.”

“Well done, my son.” you tell him, Karn Jr's eyes lighting up at your approval. “Your hard work has clearly paid off.”
“Thanks!” he says excitedly, shaking his head back and forth to feel his hair waving back and forth. Some of the longer strands go over his shoulders, Karn Jr reaching up and sweeping them both over his back.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76vLKXIgiX0

“So, what do you say?” you ask him, flying a bit away from Meloka and the young twins before taking your fighting stance. “Want to test your might?”
“Oh yeah!” he shouts, then turns questioningly towards Meloka. Your wife just smiles a bit, nodding to him. Karn Jr raises both fists with a “Yesss!”, then turns back to face you. “I'm ready!”

“Then show me what you've got.” you tell him, gesturing for him to attack. Which he does without hesitation, blitzing you at full speed. His power is around the level of Tatsu and Tomi's teammates they'd gone on their first mission with as Super Saiyans, roughly a third of your own might as he rushes your chest. But as you start with a jab, forcing him to divert, he twists around your telegraphed attack with the Su Ma's movements. Using his momentum he continues closing in, firing a left uppercut towards your jaw. Which you block, catching his tiny fist with your right forearm instead of countering. After all, you want to see what he's got, not immediately crush him.

“Haaaa!!” Karn Jr roars, reversing his momentum to twist away under your still-outstretched left arm. He flips around and up, raising himself up to your shoulder level while firing off a turning right kick at your head. Forcing you to draw back your left and duck forward, his leg only striking your left forearm. Your youngest son then reverses his momentum once more, switching to a twisting left kick aimed up at your chin under your arm. Which you lean your head back to dodge, narrowly avoiding his boot. You feel the tip narrowly graze your chin, his speed catching you a bit off guard. Reminding you that he's not just this level of strength now, but this level of power WITH the speed of a Super Saiyan Three backing it up.

“Not bad kiddo.” you say as he reorients himself, you retaking your stance. “But is that all you've got?”
“No way, I'm jus' gettin' STARTED!!” he bellows, aura blazing around him as his strength again seemingly continues rising. He then blazes forward once more, right fist drawn back and glowing with energy. Looks like that one's going to be his attack. But he swings too early, entire body flipping over and causing you to smirk. Your son's learned well, but he's not going to catch you with your own trick.

“HAAA!” Karn Jr shouts as he flips, firing a left axe kick down at you. Which you raise your right forearm and again block. But as you do, your son uses that momentum to backflip, flipping UNDER your upraised right arm with his right fist still drawn back. Leaving your face wide open, yet your son is too far away to capitalize on Except-! “Got you!”

Your son shouts, thrusting his fist forward and firing a powerful blast forward. You don't have time to dodge or block, instead relying on the only defense you can create fast enough. Your energy hardens into your Energy Body the instant before contact, his ki slamming into your own and exploding. The blast kicks up a cloud of dust, obscuring your son from your vision, but you can keep tracking him with ki sense. And your kid moves, flipping up and over you while his ki charges up once more. But not just a little bit, you sense your son's powerlevel grow more than ten times in a few moments, worrying you slightly. Sweeping the smoke away, you see that he's gathered his ki into both hands before him, sighting you in with a very familiar attack.

“FINAL FLASH!!”

Well? What now?

“Shit!” you think to yourself, dropping your Energy Body and focusing your ki. You have only a moment to act, focusing your power into a spherical shield around you and hardening it the instant before impact with a shout of “BARRIER!”

Your son's attack, far more powerful than you'd expected, slams into your shield with the full force of his transformed might. His power actually manages to push you back moving you away from him for a few dozen feet before you're finally able to stop his attack fully. Your shield continues blocking the blast, you holding Karn Jr's blast back. Had you not blocked it, looking back, his blast would have struck your planet near-directly. And with this much power behind it, Karn Jr could have destroyed your world entirely. So you keep your barrier up at full strength, stopping his beam until his power wanes and Karn Jr ends the overwhelming golden beam.

Once his attack stops you deactivate your Barrier, looking up to see your son trying to catch his breath. Taking the opportunity, you leave a small ball of ki where you'd been while flying up to your son, laying a hand on his shoulder.

“That was an excellent attack, you pushed me quite a ways back.” you tell him, your son grinning at your praise. But then his smile fades as your expression hardens, tone turning more serious. “But you have to be more careful than that.”
“Careful? What do you mean?” he asks, you pointing at your orb of ki. He turns, looking to it then back to you, confused. “What's that?”
“That energy is where I was. But look past it.” you tell him, your son turning back and looking. “What do you see?”
“You mean besides your energy?” he asks, staring down at it. But then, after a moment, his eyes widen. “Wait, do you mean...?”

“Yes. You nearly destroyed our home son.” you tell him, Karn Jr's face going white in shock. You then grab him by the other shoulder, turning him to face you while dropping as if to a knee, face-to-face. “You possess incredible power, but you have to be careful with it. You can't only focus on who you're fighting, but your surroundings as well. You have to watch out for everything when fighting. Do you understand?”
“Y-Yes I do.” he says, a little nervously yet his eyes are still bright. “I understand Daddy.”
“Good. Don't ever forget this.” you tell him, taking your hand off his right shoulder and ruffling his hair. “Winning doesn't matter if you kill everyone you're trying to protect.”

Then, before either of you can say anything else, his stomach begins growling.

“Now, who's hungry?” you ask him, your son's smile growing.

You all head down to the ship and eat your fill, the rest of your day going back to normal. The rest of the week too, for that matter, things settling back down. You realize that you've grown more adjusted to living in this new peace than in constant conflict. Which, you're not sure how to feel about honestly. You've grown used to peace. But then, a week after your battle with the so-called god Darkseid, you sense a familiar power approaching your home.

But who is it? Who approaches New Salda?

“Well, guess that we're doing this today.” you mutter, sighing as you turn to your daughter. “Chaya, I'll leave turning the chamber to you to turn off once you're done, okay?”
“You're quitting early?” she asks, sounding surprised and a little worried. “What's going on?”
“Did you not sense that?” you ask her, your daughter getting a far away look in her eyes a moment before they widen. She can clearly sense it too.
“What? What is SHE doing, coming back here?” Chaya asks, sounding more confused than anything. “Didn't King Vegeta kick her off the planet?”

“He did.” you reply, raising your right hand to your forehead while reaching out telepathically to your king. “Vegeta, we've got a problem.”
“What do you mean?” he asks as you teleport out of the training room back into your bedroom. Filling him in on what you sense while quickly stripping down and putting on your armor, getting your Soulstone, dragon bone dagger, Gravity Hammer and Wolf Knight Sword, you also make sure Meloka's awake. Once you say Komand'r's name she snaps awake, immediately getting dressed as well while telling Maz, Kayle, Okira, and Karn Jr to stay in the ship.

“I don't know what she wants. Queen Komand'r hasn't sent anything through any official challenges, nor has she reached out to me personally either.” Vegeta replies, you sensing his anger through the link. “Whatever she's planning, I'm going to need you ready to fight. Just in case.”
“I'm ready.” you reply, punching your open left hand. “No matter what she's planning, we won't let her get away with it.”
“That's right.” Meloka adds, joining in on the telepathic call while powering up to full strength, lightning dancing around her body. “I haven't beaten her to the brink of death in far too long.”

She's not stupid enough to try and declare war, but she obviously came with her people for a reason. I'm also unsure as to whether or not she's making a play for Ticho, Koriand'r, or the both of them.

“I just checked on the long-range scouters, there are at least ten thousand of them.” King Vegeta says to you both telepathically, his worry evident as you and Meloka make your way outside of your ship. “And they're approaching fast, but still not within our normal sensing range. How could you sense their energies from so far out?”
“Like I told you before, that Yardratian training is really worth it.” you tell him, Raven suddenly speaking up and interrupting.

“Broly is with Koriand'r now, I've already warned them of what's coming.” she says to you all. “As well as Turles and his daughter, Ticho. Should we get all of them off-world before the Tamaraneans arrive, just to be safe?”
“Probably for the best.” Meloka thinks aloud, looking to you. “What do you think?”

Which is an idea. But do you agree?

“I agree.” you tell her, then think to Raven. “Definitely offer that option to them all Raven, but let them know that, for now, it's not an order from us.”
“I will.” she replies, her mind pulling back from you all as she reaches back out to the others.
“Where do you want us to deploy?” Meloka asks the king, you clearly able to see that she's ready to throw down with Komand'r once more.
“Meet me by the palace, we'll wait for her there.” King Vegeta tells you both. To which you and your wife share a nod, raising your hands to your foreheads immediately. With a moment's thought you and Meloka leave your home, appearing beside the king in his throne room. Where Nappa is barking orders to the Royal Guard. “Ah, right. Well, stay with me. We'll meet the Tamaraneans here, should they choose diplomacy.”

“Should we put the call out for others to be here as well?” you ask, King Vegeta shaking his head.
“Everyone who could put up a fight will no doubt sense them coming, and with us all gathered here, will understand what's going on.” your king says as the large double doors are thrown wide, Bardock marching in with Leyas and Sarada backing him up, his two older sons joining them as well. “If a fight DOES break out, we can call others into the city and hit them with a pincer attack, preventing any from escaping.”
“Sounds like you've gotten everything ready.” you say, when another mind reaches out to your own.

“Dad, are they coming for Kori?” Broly asks, you sensing his worry through the link.
“I don't know, but its certainly possible.” you tell him. “Best to keep her away from her sister, until we know what they want. And don't group up with Turles and Ticho either, if Komand'r is coming for both of them we shouldn't make an easy target of them for her.”
“Right.” he replies, then after a moment's thought adds in. “I'll keep her safe, but we're not leaving. This is our home, and we're not running.”
“Don't worry, we'll handle this.” you tell him seriously. “Your mother and I won't let Komand'r past us.”

“Everyone, you know what's about to happen.” King Vegeta says, addressing the room full of powerful soldiers and Royal Guard. “You all have been through so much worse than a few Tamaraneans, but don't let your guard down. Do not start another war, but should they decide to commit suicide by attacking us, do not hesitate and cut them down. Understood?”

“SIR!” they all shout, the room full of warriors all saluting their warrior king.

After his short speech you all make your way outside, standing in the palace's large courtyard while waiting on the approaching Tamaraneans. As they get closer, King Vegeta then turns to you.

“So, how do you think we should do this?” he asks you seriously. “Should we raise our power, to let her know where we are? Send a small delegation to greet her, and guide her and her people down? Or do you have another idea?”

Well? How will you handle this?

“We'll be the welcoming committee.” you tell him, reaching over and laying your hand on your wife's opposite shoulder and holding her to your side. “We'll take this, and make sure they follow us directly here to you.”
“Sounds like a plan, good luck.” he says, you both nodding. Letting go of your wife you clench your fists, then with a shout Ascend. Your aura blazes emerald as you take on your strongest reliable form, then you form a Barrier around the two of you before you launch yourselves into the air. The two of you quickly leave your home behind, your Barrier giving you some air to breathe once you leave New Salda's atmosphere behind.

“There they are.” you think to Meloka as soon as you spot them, the approaching Tamaraneans rapidly closing in on your planet. And there, leading them, is the new Queen of Tamaran: Komand'r.
“I'll talk first.” your wife tells you, then reaches out with her mind to the Tamaranean Queen. “Komand'r, you're gonna follow us down.”
“Oh really? You dare give orders to me?” she retorts, not slowing her advance and closing in towards the two of you.
“You're going to follow us to King Vegeta, who wants to talk with you. Or you bringing this many warriors will be seen as a declaration of war, and we'll handle you all right here and now.”
“Hmph. Very well, I shall accept your king's gracious invitation.” she retorts, getting her snark through the telepathic link. “Lead on, o gracious hosts.”

Wordlessly you and Meloka turn back towards your world and flying back. You keep your Barrier up at full strength, not trusting her to not try and attack while your backs are turned. The return trip is otherwise uneventful, you leading the host of Tamaranean warriors down to the main city of New Salda. You keep your Barrier up even after breaking through the atmosphere and right up until the two of you land behind your king. Who, you see, has taken on his Primal form while the two of you were in space. Komand'r lands a second after the two of you, two dozen of her stronger warriors all landing behind her while the rest remain in the air above the palace. Which is a disadvantageous position for you all, but a single Event Horizon could take them all out without damaging your planet.

“King Vegeta. You and I have an important matter to discuss.” Queen Komand'r says, her tone not showing any of the disrespect she'd shown you and Meloka. “I'm here to capture a dangerous escaped criminal who we believe has fled to your world for refuge. One wanted for treason, assault on the crown, murder of a foreign ally diplomat, resisting arrest, and fifteen counts of assault on my Royal Guard. She may be family, but my sister Koriand'r's crimes cannot go unpunished.”

“I see.” King Vegeta says simply, raising a hand to his chin. “And what proof of these claims do you have?”
“Proof? That shall be shown at her trial, on my world of Tamaran.” she counters, a hard edge to her voice. “Now, are you going to cooperate with the laws of the PTO? Or will I have to take her by force, straining relations between our peoples further?”

To which King Vegeta doesn't immediately reply, bringing a hand to his chin as if pondering her words. He then snaps his fingers, one of the Royal Guard stepping forward. The man's skin, at least what is visible is crisscrossed with different scars, King Vegeta clearly telling him something telepathically. The soldier salutes and rushes back into the palace at full speed.

“This is a troubling matter. Were such a criminal loose on our world, they would have no doubt left some sort of impact on our own society.” he says, stroking his chin once. “However, to the best of my knowledge, she has not been admitted to my world. “Don't play the fool with me, Saiyan King.” Komand'r snarls, eyes glowing crimson with her enchanted power as she points a finger directly at you. “I know she is here, and that YOU are harboring a fugitive from the law. Not only Tamaranean law, but PTO law as well. And I shall have justice.”

Well, looks like this is a problem. But how do you handle this?

“Hrmm.” you say aloud, raising a hand to your chin while reaching out telepathically to Koriand'r. “Hey, we need to talk. Your sister is leveling serious crimes at your feet. What do you have to say?”
“What did she accuse me of?” she asks, you quickly filling her in on what she's being accused of. To which you can feel a wave of sadness from her, before the young woman tells you what happened.

According to Koriand'r, after her sister ascended the throne, the Royal Guard had locked her away within the palace. Then her sister had come with some noble of a planet Drenthax IV, a gelatinous being called Glgrdsklechhh. Komand'r had told the noble that he may use her sister as he wished before the wedding that she'd arranged between them. Despite her efforts to dissuade the being, it attacked her, forcing Koriand'r to defend herself from the creature's advances. After battering him, he called in the Royal Guard who then rushed into the room, attempting to beat her into submission for the noble's use. Kori fought back, disabling her attackers and the noble as well with her power. However, her eye beams had blasted the gelatinous creature apart, killing it before the still-awake Royal Guard. Forcing her to flee, avoiding arrest for murdering the attacking noble. She had to fight her way off-world, escaping her sister's clutches by blasting her back down to the planet.

“Thanks for telling me.” you reply after a moment of silence between you. “Don't worry, I won't let her have you. She'll have to kill me first.”
“Thank you.” she says, worry and hope equally leaking through the telepathic connection before you end it.
“You will not stop me from executing a lawful arrest and capture of a terrorist.” Komand'r continues, glaring angrily yet smugly at you. “Unless you're wanting to commit treason against the ENTIRETY of Lord Freeza's empire?”

Which is a devious attack that you have to give her credit for. Positioning YOU against Lord Freeza and the PTO instead of herself over this. Which is a dangerous position to be in. Before, with your friendship with Lord Freeza, you could have just called him and brushed all of this aside. But now, you're going to have to deal with this yourself.

“Now hold on. Accusing your superior of treason is a dangerous accusation.” King Vegeta interjects, his tone serious. “I would speak carefully, were I you.”
“As his king, you'd better keep your subordinate in line.” Queen Komand'r tells Vegeta. “You should know the rules as well as I do, King Vegeta. Harboring a diplomat-killer is a capital offense, punishable by death. Not only of the offender, but of their people and planet as well. Keeping my traitor sister here is a death sentence for not just him, but for you and your people, o' King.”

“Were she to be a convicted criminal, yes. That would be the case.” King Vegeta retorts, smoothly navigating her taunts and implications of guilt. “But she's not, by your own admission, a convicted criminal. Only accused.”
“She murdered a diplomat, and nearly killed over a dozen of my personal guard, on top of trying to murder me!” Komand'r explodes in anger, aura blazing menacingly around her. “She must face judgment for her crimes!”

“Judgment, yes. That's the right word.” King Vegeta retorts, smirking a bit. And you realize that he's got a plan. “And to pass judgment, one needs a trial. However, I do not believe that you are fit to hold the accused until the day of their trial.”
“What are you saying?” she asks, realizing that he's already outmaneuvered her. “Are you accusing me o-?”
“I accuse you of nothing, other than being passionate for your people.” King Vegeta replies, holding his hands up. “So, a trial shall be held for the fate of Princess Koriand'r.”
“I already told you, the-” she starts, but King Vegeta holds up a hand again. She's indignant at his dismissal of her words, but still goes quiet.
“We can have that trial today, right here and now.” King Vegeta answers, smirking a bit. “A trial by combat!"

And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy this run so far? Ready to see how everything plays out, and what other tricks Komand'r has up her sleeves? Ready to witness the battle for Kori's fate? All this and more, next weekend on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!
>>
>>5566004
Somehow I had a feeling it would come down to a trial by combat, but I'm curious as to how Komand'r is gonna handle this.
She's the most powerful member of her race, so it wouldn't be strange for her to enter the ring herself.
On the flip side, Koriand'r is almost assuredly going to name a Champion to fight in her stead.
Depending on who fights for Kori, Komand'r might just sub in somebody else to live and fight another day.
However, maybe we can trick her into getting her own hands dirty...
She's not aware of just how powerful Broly is now, is she?
>>
>>5566015
King Vegeta IV may not be the best politician. But with how clever and intelligent he is, he is able to turn situations around to his advantage.
However, will Komand'r play along? Or will she not elect to play along with this, insisting instead that her sister be returned to her by circumventing the Saiyans' authority and going directly to Freeza? We'll just have to wait and find out.
>>
>>5566001
Oh you clever bastard.
>>
>>5566021
Had she not brought a potentially hostile force to Karn's planet and instead went to Frieza in the first place, that might have been a lot more viable.
But as it stands, she came directly to New Salda, making this an immediate issue with not only King Vegeta, but the General of the PTO (who still technically outranks them both).
If she wants to turn this into a PTO matter NOW, we can just play the General card and take control, can't we?
>>
>>5566024
He’s not one to be underestimated.
>>5566028
Not how it works. Freeza would dismiss her outright, saying that an escaped criminal is her problem to handle. But finding out that another PTO-subordinate peoples were housing the criminal, WITH evidence would be a problem
>>
Intermission for this week’s going to be a little different than what we’ve had this arc, but I think it’ll be fun. Fills in some loose ends in the who’s where in the timeline.
>>
>>5566004
Part of me thought we were going to Ace Attorney this shit, but trial by combat sounds like a good time.
No way she doesn't have a plan for this.
>>
>>5567260
That’s something Karn would certainly lose. After all, Komand’r has had all the time since her sister left to fabricate any and all needed evidence. Which could only be countered by undeniable proof that Koriand’r wasn’t guilty
>>
Why do people who are supposedly suave politically keep forgetting that we:
>just about RAISED Vegeta
>outrank him greatly and only carry out his commands to help solidify his rule in the people's eyes
>>
>>5567787
That does sound like an impossible scenario to win, unless we flaunt around our influence but that would just escalate things, right?
Makes me appreciate Vegeta's gambit a bit more.

>>5568746
Yeah that's true, but using the 'I am the General of the PTO' card so soon will only make things more of a mess than needed.
>>
>>5568746
They understand that Karn is in an (un)official advisory position, but most simply assume King Vegeta is a pawn at first. But she knows better, after last time they crossed words. She understands that Karn is by far the easier to politically manipulate.
>>5568756
>unless we flaunt about our influence
What if that’s just what she wants? Escalating it beyond a private “in-house” matter to official problems? Including housing and sheltering a KNOWN criminal and murderer from justice? How well does that play out in the larger picture?
>>
>>5568833
That was my line of thinking. Man I'm glad we didn't choose to say she was part of our jurisdiction as General of the PTO.
>>
>>5568833
Mmm yeah sounds like that would've been a shitshow. Koriand'r has been doing her homework, Karn can certainly murder but cannot into politicking at all
>>
>>5568851
It would have been a more difficult position to handle. But if you think she’s actually going to go for the trial by combat, you’re sorely mistaken.
>>5568913
She knows she can’t beat you like she beat her baby daddy, so she had to get devious.

Bingo. I see a whole lot of artists and get some of them doing quest work. Like a new one just did a piece, but not showing it here until the intermission. For reasons.
Her stance will be an interesting take. Especially if you try and interfere in any way with her taking her sister from New Salda. AFTER telling Freeza/King Cold that she's under your protection.
And no, it's a damaged rotator. Been that way for years. My old man has the same thing going on too, physical labor does that to you. But he's over fifty and can still move it, just with some pain sometimes so I'll live.

Someone has to tell the normies that kinda stuff eventually. Hopefully before specific cultural or religious groups perform acts of peace and understanding upon them. You might save a few from ending up in gore threads.

That's not how the world works. Their programming doesn't allow for questioning The Narrative(tm), they do and believe what they are told.

Already happened, or is happening. Apathy is the death of peace or whatever its called. Speakin of, there any other cultlike or outwardly nefarious factions other than our own that we should look out for in the galaxy? I know that the Time Patrol is riddled top to bottom but is in another dimension entirely, and the Covenant was disbanded atleast a decade ago in universe. I'm really stumped since even the galactic patrol are more wimpy than in other timelines though I must wonder what they're doing with Moro.

In that case we just let King Vegeta do the political lifting (or just get Turles involved. Maybe that might be the best idea though).

>>5569597
Better to put that effort into those who are actually sentient enough to actually understand it.

Yes. Several in fact. But telling could be spoilers.
>and the Covenant was disbanded atleast a decade ago in universe
Not yet. We're still in AGE 754, but the last day of the year. Meloka Wolbach's first birthday is the day after this goes down.
As for the Galactic Patrol, the PTO isn't encroaching on their territory. Yet.
>>5569609
Getting Turles involved is one of the absolute WORST ideas.
True. It'll be not fine, but doesn't get worse. Can still hurl a bale or hold up a transmission, so it's working well enough.

I've been thinking about what's gonna happen when everything catches up to Karn and he finally dies.
Would we get Karn's adventures in Hell?
Would we just shift perspective to one of the kids? If so, which one would you expect us to pick?
Would his "defeat" of Majin Buu and efforts to preserve the peace later in life make him exempt from immediate damnation?
Assuming Chilli is still a servant of Jergal when it happens, would he vouch for Karn like he did Tatsu?
If Karn is damned to Hell for eternity, who would be the first necromancer to attempt to raise him as a thrall/revenant/pissed off zombie?
Would the specter of Darth Bane that's bound to Karn stick with him in the afterlife?
Would it be possible for Karn to create a Holocron before he passes?
>>
>>5569700
Not the right philosophy. If you can only help certain people, wasting your time on those beyond your help only hurts those you could be helping in their place instead.
>>5569983
The eternal question. Karn’s fate beyond life is a mystery.
Chilli absolutely would, unless you somehow unforgivably wronged him.
None would be able to, if Chilli still lives. He can prevent a corpse’s rest from being disturbed.
The imprint of Bane would die.
No, not with the choices you’ve made.
>>
>>5570405
I’d like to think Tatsu would take a day off from killing demons to greet his son into the afterlife.
Would be a good punch in the feels to have Karn’s mother appear at some point.
>>
>>5570658
If Chilli vouched for Karn like he did Tatsu, I imagine he'd be charged with the same duty.
If that's the case, It stands to reason that they'd make Tatsu his direct superior right off the bat.
It'd be just like old times, back when the most we had to worry about was hunger...and the occasional giant lizard.
>>
>>5570658
Depending on how long Karn lives, his father's soul could have already gone through the Soul Cleansing Machine and been reincarnated. As for her, well... All Tatsu knows is she isn't down there.
>>5570666
Not quite. Tatsu got the job because he was familiar not only with New Salda and its Guardian but was also familiar with fighting demons thanks to his time doing so while you were away exterminating the Covenant.
>>
>>5570730
Well, as far as expertise goes, Karn's only really specialized in killing Gods.
I'm sure he'd love to be the one the Gods answer to when they fuck up, but I get the feeling more than a few of them would make sure that never happens.
Past that, he could be North Kai's new ringer I guess. Goodness knows Olibu leaves a lot to be desired.
>>
>>5570743
Oh absolutely, they would not accept judgement from a mortal. And possibly. Olibu's GOOD, a better martial artist than even Goku. But he's only human.
>>
>>5570751
Olibu is probably scary as fuck to anything that's around his power-level. I can only imagine how refined his Pankration is.
I just assume it's Pankration since he's based on Greek mythological figures, but if it's something else entirely, please correct me.
It's a damn shame he's not in a position to spread his teachings outside of Otherworld. He could probably teach Karn a lot as far as hand-to-hand combat is concerned.
>>
>>5570756
He's been training for thousands of years at this point. His technique is GOOD.
And true. But Karn -probably- won't get to meet him.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 191 Intermission-

AGE 754, CRINSON DEMON VILLAGE'S CRYSTAL TOWER

“C'mon kiddo, you can do it.” you say, holding onto your daughter's hands while standing behind her and holding her upright. Meloka Wolbach wiggles, unable to raise her feet and take a step yet. So you have an idea, carefully lifting her and sliding your bare feet forward before lowering her down onto them. Her feet lay atop yours, your daughter looking up towards you with wide eyes. “Let's go for a walk.”

“Waaa?” she vocalizes, looking from your face down to your feet and back up.
“Come on Meloka Wolbach, let's walk.” you say, slowly lifting your right foot. Your daughter bends her knee as you step forward, stretching out as you step down.
“Woooaaa? Wooooh!” your daughter shouts, surprised as you start walking her across the floor. Her eyes are transfixed on her own feet atop yours as you step across the bedroom floor. “Waaaaaaooooh!”

You are Chilli; son of Karn, husband of Megumin, father of Meloka Wolbach, wielder of Crystal and Disparity magics, and Reaper in service to the Final Scribe. You've established yourself on the planet of your wife's birth, this world gifted to you by Lord Freeza on the day of your wedding. Despite the politics of the different factions occasionally sending emissaries trying to get you to join their war efforts, you've grown to love this world and the work you do. You spend your days raising your daughter, researching magical artifacts, developing your own magical powers, and creating magic items for your father-in-law's store. Your Crystal Barrier potions are an especially profitable item, allowing the store to not only get out of the red, but really start bringing in money for the in-laws.

“Waaah waaaah!” your daughter exclaims, you smiling at her simple happiness as you continue to walk around. Since your daughter's birth, you've taken over watching your daughter for a few hours every day while your wife takes an hour or two at a time to nap. Catching up on the sleep she misses every night from having to be up to feed your daughter and her voracious appetite. Which no doubt comes more from your people than your wife's. “Waaahahaha!”
“Look at you kiddo, you're walking.” you say, your daughter looking up at you with a wide, beaming grin. Melting your heart as only she can. As she smiles adorably up at you, suddenly you GET it. You understand how your own father must have felt, raising up each of you. Now, he was far more distant with you all when you were her age than you are with your daughter. But, after seeing what he was forced to deal with, you can't really blame him. After all, you'd do whatever it takes to keep your daughter safe.

As you and your daughter walk together around the bedroom, suddenly you feel something. A surprisingly powerful ki, at least for this world, is quickly approaching your home. But the most surprising part is that, somehow, the village's automated defenses haven't detected the approaching being. It isn't one of the Crimson Demons, this being's ki far too different. It feels far older, and more sinister. It feels almost like an undead, yet you can sense their power. What is this?

“Daaaa?” your daughter asks, looking up in confusion as you've stopped moving.
“Sorry kiddo, I gotta run out real quick.” you tell her, lifting her up and setting her into her crib. Which she doesn't like, but is pacified as you rush over to the bed, grabbing one of the large, fluffy stuffed animals she likes to hold and bring it over to her. “Daddy's just got to go handle a problem real quick, okay?”
“Oooaaaammm.” she sounds, hugging the toy to her while sticking her thumb in her mouth. You smile down at her a moment before focusing, crystals sprouting all over your body as you start the spell. Once they're all in place the crystals shatter, you now fully equipped in your armor, weapons, hat and staff. Then without another word rush to the stairs, ready to confront the invader. “Baaaaah!”

With your daughter's sounds of encouragement you rush up to the roof, then leap up high into the midday sky. Looking around you orient on your mark, but they're too far away to see yet. So you slip your staff into its holster in your robe, then raise your left hand and form a circle with your thumb and middle finger.

“Crystal Magic: Magnification times four.” you say, channeling your magic. Crystals form into a small magnifying glass as you hold it up to your left eye. Looking through the zoom lens you quickly find your mark, seeing a red-robed being flying like a missile straight towards your home. Which just won't do. You decide to confront the invader before they get close, but don't fly directly towards the figure. Instead you decide to go for the intimidation play, flying directly up into the clouds. Losing sight of the approaching red figure, you instead navigate by ki sense. Flying towards her rapidly, but not so fast as to create a sonic boom and blow the clouds away. After all, they're concealing your approach. As you get closer and closer you then immediately drop down out of the clouds while calling out in your loudest voice. “WHO APPROACHES MY HOME?”

Which startles the figure so badly they lose control of their flight, dropping like a stone for a few seconds before catching themselves. However, upon looking you over for a second or two, the being who you now see is actually around your height collects itself before speaking.

“I hope you are the one I'm looking for. Call me Evileye. I'm here for the renown Crystal Sage.” the woman says, her voice clearly feminine even through her face-concealing mask. As you look at her masked face, however, you notice something. There, in the mask's forehead, is what looks to be a Bloodstone. Just like the one Raven has lodged in her forehead. Which puts you on guard, those things are dangerous. And despite not having a strong ki signature, the feeling of wrongness has only increased as you got closer to her. “And since you're flying without using the Fly spell and wielding a sword of crystal, I'd assume that would be you.”

“Lucky guess.” you retort, resting your sword on your shoulder and sighing before . “So, why are you here? If you're trying to recruit me to your army, or guild, or whatever, I'm not interested and sorry you wasted your time.”
“No, I come only seeking your help with a dangerous threat to the continent, if not the entire world.” she says, voice full of conviction. Making you sigh internally, knowing what comes next. “As I'm sure you've no doubt heard, there is a dangerous new empire on the rise. The Sorcerer Kingdom, run by-!”

“The Sorcerer King, Ainz Ooal Gown. Yes, yes.” you interrupt, the woman freezing in place as a small sound of surprise escapes her. “He and I have battled before.”
“You have? And you are still standing?” she asks, sounding surprised. “Then you are as mighty as they say. If you and Lord Momon were to join forces, then I believe that the two of you could-”
“No, I will have to stop you there.” you say, holding your left hand up palm-first towards her. “Lord Ainz and I will not fight again.”
“Wait, what? Why?” she asks, sounding a bit angry. “That undead monster is responsible for burning Re-Estize to the ground, slaughtering their people and executing the entire royal family. Nothing remains of their royal capitol but a city of rubble and walking skeletons, along with dozens of other cities and countless villages!”

“And?” you ask, the woman sputtering for several seconds as she tries to form a sentence.
“And? AND?!” she exclaims, furious. “You'd abandon your fellow man to die at the hands of that monster?!”
“My fellow man. Heh. The rest of my people haven't come to your world, and you'd best be thankful they haven't.” you say with a chuckle. “We Saiyans are conquerors, slaughtering the people of entire PLANETS and selling their worlds for profit. One tiny country means nothing in the grand scheme of the universe.”

“You're a monster.” she says, sounding shocked at first. But then her tone turns resolute as she points her hand at you, a clear gesture of aggression. “I have to stop you before you and the Sorcerer King join in alliance, or this world is doomed! Maximize Magic: Shard Buckshot!”

Creating three magical circles, one within each other, the woman then fires dozens upon dozens of magical needles at you. They remind you of your mother's Ki Needles, except magical. Which does give you an idea, one that you'll have to save for later though. For, right now, you have to defend yourself.

“HAAAAA!!” you roar, immediately ascending to a Super Saiyan. As your golden aura explodes out from you, the shock waves blast the approaching crystal needles. A dozen or so are simply shattered by the force, while the rest are blown away. As well as your hat, if flying away to reveal your now-golden hair.
“What?!” she exclaims as her needles' paths are diverted from hitting you, her spell ending. “What is this?”
“This is a Super Saiyan. The power of MY people.” you reply, smirking a bit. “This level of power is beyond anything anyone of this world possesses. But this is only a fraction of my strength.”

Powering back down, you swing your sword onto your back, securing it with a few tiny crystal growths to your robe. Then you let go, let everything go as you depart from your mortal form. Magical energy surges as your body is burned away, revealing the power you discovered by accident long, long ago thanks to your wife's friend, Yunyun.

“N-No way. That's impossible.” the woman says, so startled she seemingly takes a step back from you in the air. “You-You possess the power of an Archon?”
“So, you know of this power?” you ask, genuinely surprised. She may be the first being of this world to recognize it, aside from Ainz. But he doesn't really count as you learned he and his people came unwillingly from another world. “Tell me, do you possess the means to measure one's magical power? Because I'm about to show you why it is I that you should fear, not the self-proclaimed Sorcerer King, undead.”

“Tch. You won't intimidate me! Penetrate Maximize Magic: Crystal Dagger!” she shouts, this time creating five magical circles and firing a single projectile from within them at you. The projectile is surprisingly powerful, her magic nearly as powerful as some of the stronger Crimson Demons' attacks. But that doesn't mean it's any match for you. Which you prove by catching the projectile by its handle, stunning the woman. “What?! How...?”

Ignoring her you look over the weapon, then after a moment pitch it back at her. Stabbing through her concealing robe straight into her leg, the woman wincing.

“Last chance. Can you use identifying magic, or can't you?” you ask, the woman withdrawing the knife from her leg and dropping it down towards the ground below before raising her masked gaze to you, nodding once. “Good. Now use it. I want you to understand just how weak you, and all the other people of this world really are.”
“It's active.” she says, not vocalizing the spell so you can't know what all information she's going to get. But you're sure that'll be enough

“Allow me to show you how outclassed you really are.” you say, clenching your fists as you focus. It takes you a few moments, after all you haven't used this technique in a while. “Hrrrrraaaa! KAIO-KEN!!”
“Kaio-wha-?” she says, but is then blown away as your power explodes. Not your ki, as that was consumed as you took on this form and converted to mana. But your magical might surges, your already impossible power doubling. The crimson aura blazes up around your form, your glow reflecting in her pale mask. “I-Impossible! This power, it's... It's...!”

“This is the Kaio-Ken. A technique originally designed for use with a mortal body, doubling its strength, speed, and all the senses used in a fight.” you tell her as the woman trembles underneath her red cloak. No doubt able to sense the difference between yourself and her clearly now. “But that isn't the limits of my Kaio-Ken. In fact, this is only the minimum power increase. I can go a lot higher.”

But then you end the technique, crimson aura fading away as you return to your base form.

“Now leave, and don't bother me again.” you order the woman. “Or next time, I won't let you go. Is that understood?”
“V-Very well.” she says, actually bowing to you at what is presumably the waist. “I won't bother you again s-Lord Chilli.”

And without another word takes off, flying at full speed back the way she came. You sigh out, re-summoning your hat to your head as you fly back home as well. As you do, you wonder how your dad or King Vegeta would handle this? So, as you fly back you ask them, starting with the King of the Saiyans himself. Maybe they have a better way to keep these morons from constantly bothering you?

I can't wait to see Chilli's magnum opus.
Its gonna function as a magical prism that converts solar rays into pure elemental light before focusing it on select targets on the planet's surface, isn't it?
>>
>>5570786
It will be something incredibly devastating, certainly making more of a show than individually showing his power to people. This will be a world-changing event.
>spoiler
Not quite. Sunlight isn't one of his strengths.
>>
>>5570797
Whatever it is, if the first demonstration of it doesn't involve carving his declaration of "peace" across the face of a continent, I will be sorely disappointed.
>>
>>5570804
He's going to make an example out of someone's empire.
>>
>>5570780
This brat is barking up the wrong tree to assume someone needs to give a shit about the outside world.
>>
>>5570824
That's our boy, he needs to turn an empire to ash and leave a single crystal sign in the capitals center saying, kill yourselves on your own time, stay off my lawn.
>>
>>5570955
If you knew Landfall's past, you'd see more of why she feels the way she does. Not many left alive in that world can truly claim having fought alongside the Thirteen Heroes centuries ago.

>turn an empire to ash and leave a single crystal sign in the capitals center saying, kill yourselves on your own time, stay off my lawn
Not his style, burning it all down. However, he is going to make quite the example of someone. Someone who has attacked the Crimson Demons on more than one occasion...

Oh....so Demon King is going to be erased? Poor bastard, he is going to get the weirdest explanation when he gets in the waiting line.

It couldn't possibly be the Demon King, not with that impenetrable Barrier around his castle, right? The Barrier powered by his eight generals, and in canon after only being empowered by 3 of the remaining generals, the rest disabled or killed by Kazuma's group STILL took Megumin over TWENTY consecutive Explosion spells at full power to break. Which was only possible due to Kazuma investing in several fortunes' worth of the highest grade Manatite in the world that she used as fuel instead of her own mana.
>>
>>5570989
Chilli can fuckin teleport, or just reverse time on the barrier to before it was cast, right?
>>
>>5571022
He can probably just lift the entire continent it's on and throw it into space.
>>
>>5569357
I mean, that assumes that she can prove we've GOT Kori. Okay, hear me out here, because this seems like a solid "legal" argument...or PTO definitions of solid, legal, and argument.

Kom wants a terrible criminal, Veg says "we don't have her". So far so good. Then it got into "is she even a criminal?" After that, it seems fairly simple to make the following argument: "We don't currently have her, but even if we DID have her, we see no proof that she's a criminal. Therefore, let's do trial by combat to simplify things. If you win, she's guilty, and should we come across her, she will be given right over to you immediately and without fail. Should we win, she's innocent and fuck off." At that point, unless SHE can prove that WE have Kori, she doesn't really have a way to demand the fight be her vs her wimpier sister, does she? Honestly, I'd thought it would be her vs. Vegeta since they're the ones that are having this legal argument. Also, why did we not have Raven portal Kori and her Broly Bodyguard offplanet somewhere safe until this was cleared up, just for asscovering purposes?
>>
>>5571337
I mean....we could tell them to do that right now.
>>
>>5571022
He can teleport, but not into or more importantly in some cases OUT of that barrier. It’s quite similar to the Great Tomb of Nazarick’s defenses, in that you need a special ring to teleport into and once inside the guild hall.
He could, but that barrier’s been up longer than he’s been alive. He’d need a whole lot more power than he’s got to take it down that way. But cleverly taking down an opponent’s defenses doesn’t set quite the same tone as bulldozing through it with overwhelming power.
>>5571053
True, but the Crimson Demon Village is on the same continent and tectonic plate. Not a good idea.
>>5571337
>or PTO definitions of solid, legal, and argument.
HA! And a decent idea, but a trial by combat isn’t something she’ll go for. As she knows damn well she can’t win unless it’s against her sister directly. She remembers how ineffective you showed her power to be with your Energy Body at the tournament. But you’re missing two important points. 1, King Cold AND Freeza both knew she was coming to your world BEFORE you sensed her. And you’re assuming she wasn’t and still isn’t being tracked.
>>5571391
You could. But then, as a PTO military official, you could get tasked with bringing her in personally by Freeza since she keeps ‘escaping’. Many layers to this problem.
>>
>>5571337
Somehow I get the feeling Komand'r would have expected us to get Kori off planet as soon as she touched down.
It's not the worst idea, but it does leave Kori particularly vulnerable if somebody were able to predict where she went.
To that end, anybody who cared to look into it could probably figure out that Raxus Prime is Karn's go-to panic room/training world.
>>
>>5571531
Good point, maybe sending her over to Chilli's for a bit?
>>
24 hours from this episode’s continuation, hope you all are ready.

>>5571531
She expected her daughter and baby daddy to have fled into hiding for sure.
And yes, that’s true. One of several. But more likely to hide someone would be Chilli’s world. A small, out of the way planet far from anywhere.
>>5571545
Would be a predictable move. However, she’s not seen you or Meloka leave her sight since confirning her sister is still planetside.
>>
>>5571591
It's probably better for everyone that we didn't send Koriand'r off to Chilli's planet. Komand'r dying immediately would be more trouble than it's worth.
>>
>>5571604
Chilli could most certainly take her down. But would he interfere?
>>
>>5571858
Komand'r would probably do something retarded like attack Koriand'r while she was holding Meloka Wolbach (because of course she would ask to hold the baby if she came over)
>>
>>5571872
NOT THE BABY!
A disaster for all involved.
>>
>>5571872
We haven’t actually seen Chilli fight in quite a while. I will say his physical strength has Not kept pace with his magical might’s growth. But Komand’r stands less a chance against him than Karn, or even Broly.
>>5571951
Chilli would annoy Jergal over this, but that fate for his daughter would NOT stand.
>>
>>5572216
>We haven’t actually seen Chilli fight in quite a while.
Time to fix that. It's been far too long since he went all out against dear old Dad. Plus Karn could use the experience in dealing with magicians that can actually hold their own in conventional combat.

YES
>>5572663

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Chilli met with some of his allies while Karn was visiting, then after they left Karn returned home only to see his youngest controlling his Super Saiyan Three power. After sparring with his youngest, and imparting a valuable life lesson to him. Then, after a week of peace, Karn senses the Tamaranean Queen Komand'r approaching New Salda with an army at her back. Escorting her and her thousand warriors in, she then accuses her sister of murdering a diplomat among other offenses. King Vegeta then calls for a trial by combat, and as we rejoin Karn, Queen Komand'r has clearly planned for such a declaration.

“No. Absolutely not.” Queen Komand'r states to King Vegeta plainly. “I'm not here to get in a measuring contest with you, Saiyan King. I'm here to capture a deadly criminal. And every moment she remains free, anyone not of your Super Saiyan caste is in mortal danger.”
“If I kicked every single being not of my people off my planet who could present a threat to others, there would only be PTO staff left.” King Vegeta tells her, his tone a bit flippant. “Not even the planet's Guardian would remain.”
“She is such a threat that it was deemed necessary to bring this size force here to apprehend her.” Queen Komand'r counters. “She is dangerous. As the second strongest of our people, she would cause irreprable damage should my own flesh and blood attack such a long-standing ally as yourselves. So I cannot, in good faith, leave her here to wreak the same havoc. She is coming with us to face the family of the man she killed and to be tried for her crimes. We WILL be taking her into custody, whether or not you like it. Unless you wish to declare yourself against the laws of the PTO?”

You can feel King Vegeta's anger, but he doesn't immediately retort. You see his fist tighten, gloves squeaking ever so quietly as his knuckles pop from the force of his clenching. Seems he doesn't have an immediate answer.

Do you?
>Tell Komand'r that her sister is in your custody, and will remain so until and unless someone of higher rank than you in the PTO makes releasing her sister to her an order
>Offer a simple contest for the rights to have Koriand'r, her versus your wife in a fight, whoever wins gets to keep Princess Koriand'r
>Inform Queen Komand'r that you've taken Koriand'r into custody, and that YOU will be holding her here on New Salda until she contacts you for the trial. Then you will Instant Transmission the accused directly to her trial personally
>Telepathically tell Broly to Instant Transmission himself and her off world, then once they're gone tell Komand'r that you just received word that she is no longer on the planet

“What do you want to do, King Vegeta?” you ask him telepathically. “How do you want to handle this?”
“Get her out of here, right now.” he tells you mentally while consciously unclenching his fists, taking a calming breath then speaking. “Insult what I and my people have all given for the PTO again, and I will take exception to this claim. And demand redress from you personally.”
“Raven, do you know any good sport to hide Kori?” you think to her as Vegeta addresses the Tamaranean Queen. “We need to get her out of here, ASAP.”
“Understood. I'll tell her and Broly to travel to Okira, and ask for her library.” Raven says, confusing you. But before you can ask, she adds in. “I'll explain it later. ”

“You're taking quite the exception to a simple statement of fact.” Komand'r continues, her attitude turning quite smug.
“You insult my people one more time.” King Vegeta starts, but then she interrupts, continuing.
“My sister is dangerous, and must be apprehended immediately. We can have our little measuring contest later.” Komand'r says, her tone shifting slightly. “Forgive the intrusion, but my people will quickly scour the world for this traitor.”

But as she says this, suddenly you sense something. Both Broly and Koriand'r's ki both vanish simultaneously from beside your youngest daughter Okira's, yet hers remains where it was on the Guardian's Island. Which is bizarre. They didn't teleport, as far as you can tell, and there wasn't a portal either as you'd have sensed the living beings from that other world for at least a moment. Instead they just seemingly vanished, disappearing into thin air without a trace.

“My Queen!” one of Komand'r's guards says, rushing forward and kneeling beside her. You see the man holding what seems to be a tablet of some sort, the queen looking down on it in confusion. Which quickly turns to anger, Komand'r raising a furious gaze to King Vegeta.
“Explain this!” she demands, snatching the tablet and stomping towards him. She turns the display around, to which he looks blankly at for several seconds before raising his eyes to hers.

“What am I looking at?” he asks her, clearly unsure what he's looking at. To which she scoffs, tapping at the screen for a few seconds.
“When I first suspected my sister of planning treason, I had a tracker planted in her without her knowledge.” Queen Komand'r says, to everyone's shock. “It is how I knew she had fled my world to your own. Perhaps expecting your people's strongest over there, with his animosity towards me, to shield her.pletely vanished. Which means that she either somehow found the tracker inside her and destroyed it, or has completely left this universe.”

Which makes you wonder, what in the hell did Okira DO?

“Are you sure? She didn't simply flee to another world to hide?” King Vegeta asks her, sounding more confused than you bet he actually is. “With your people's ability to breathe in space, escaping wouldn't be difficult. Especially with you all gathered here.”
“Do you take me for a fool?” she asks, a hard edge to her voice. “If she'd left the planet, we'd be able to track her movements. Even if she were to teleport off world, the signal would still transmit clearly from wherever she went. What the hell did you do?”

“Did I do? You keep acting like I have something to do with this, but I wasn't even aware of your sister's arrival to my world in the first place.” King Vegeta replies, lying smoothly to her face. “You're welcome to stay and investigate as long as you wish until you are satisfied, as long as you and your people behave. But if you or your people start any fights here, the consequences will be their own and not on my people, understood?”
“If I find out that you had anything to do with hiding her, Lord Freeza WILL hear about this.” Queen Komand'r says, voice dripping with venom before turning back to the guard with the tablet. “Pull her last coordinates, we'll start there.”

“Meloka, grab Okira right now!” you think to your wife immediately, panic rising. “They're going to her!”
“Right.” your wife replies, immediately disappearing as Queen Komand'r's back is still turned. You sense her ki teleporting to your youngest daughter, a moment later returning with Okira held in her arms. Your daughter is smiling while Meloka looks to you with an expression most would think is neutral. But you can FEEL her intensity directed towards you as Queen Komand'r starts shouting orders, a second later a score of her guards immediately fly off towards where Okira's ki had been. “So. What happened?”

“I'm not sure, Okira used her power to hide both Broly and Kori.” you think to your wife. “Raven said something about a library, but I don't know what she was talking about.”
“I'll ask her.” your wife replies as Komand'r turns back, noticing your wife holding your daughter. But the queen's eyes linger a moment, you seeing something dark and furious behind her gaze. Her glare is absolutely murderous, but she doesn't act on her dark feelings. Instead looking back to King Vegeta, before raising her hand to her right ear.

“Talk to me.” Komand'r says, frown deepening as she listens for several seconds before furiously shouting. “Dammit.”
“What's wrong?” King Vegeta asks, sounding genuinely concerned. “Did something happen?”
“If you are found harboring this criminal, there will be consequences, Saiyan King.” Komand'r snarls at him, then turning aside while continuing to talk to presumably her people. She whispers, but with your hearing you can make it out clearly. “What do you mean? How can there be no magical residue? Well, find that bitch and make her talk! She has to have been the one behind this, who else could make a portal?”

“Hey, Raven. Head's up.” you reach out to your planet's Guardian. “Those Tamaraneans are probably headed towards you.”
“I'm already aware, but thank you.” Raven replies. “If they try anything, they'll regret coming to our world.”
“If you need backup, let me know.” you tell her before Raven ends the telepathic link, returning your focus to the present. Just as Komand'r turns towards you, stalking forward angrily. “Need something?”
“I know you're the one behind this.” she says once she gets close, voice barely a whisper as her furious eyes bore into your own. “I can't prove it, not yet. But I know that this is all your doing. And one day, I'll make you pay.”

“I don't know what you're talking about, your family business is none of my concern.” you reply, standing up to your full height while returning her ferocious glare with one of your own. “But if you threaten my family, you speak to them in that threatening tone, I will break you.”

The silence hangs thick between you both for several long seconds, before the Queen of Tamaran blinks, smirking a bit.

“Perhaps I misjudged you...” Komand'r says, stepping back and nodding slightly to her. “If you see my sister, please apprehend her. Don't let her cause the same violence here that she has visited upon my home.”
“Don't worry about us. I can handle any threats that make their way here.” you tell her confidently. Seems she believes you, or at least believes that you're ignorant to the situation. As she turns back to the king, her guard holding the tablet calls, Queen Komand'r turns back their way, her back to you all.

But what now?

As she does you walk over to your wife and youngest daughter, linking your mind to their telepathic conversation to hear what's going on.

“-sked me to let them into my private library, so I did.” your daughter is telling Meloka. “Then I shut it right behind them once they were inside.”
“Private library?” your wife asks her, hairless brows furrowing. “What do you mean?”
“Me an' Miss Teacher Raven made me my own library, like hers!” she telepathically tells you both. “It's just like her library, but in my own private space that only me an' Imagine Dragon can open up together.”

“Oh really?” your wife asks her aloud, ruffling her hair before returning to the conversation. “When did you two do that?”
“Yesterday, while big sis Chaya was trainin' back at Dreadzone.” Okira says aloud. “Me an' Imagine Dragon also made a portal to big sis too, just like Miss Teacher Raven's! I got to go say hi to her stream people!”
“That's impressive.” you say, also reaching out and ruffling your daughter's hair while she beams at the praise. From the corner of your eye, you see Komand'r talking with her people, three dozen more heading off. You follow them with your ki sense, feeling them moving from the mainland towards Raven.

“Head's up, they're on their way.” you think to Raven, then return your focus to your daughter and wife only to see Queen Komand'r walking towards you all. Which immediately gets your wife's hackles up, passing your daughter to you as she steps forward.
“What?” your wife asks in a flat tone, glaring at the woman. Who actually stops in her place, evaluating your wife a moment before finally speaking. Her tone noticeably softer.

“We haven't been on the friendliest terms. But, from one mother to another, keep your children close.” Komand'r says, then turns from your wife back to King Vegeta. “We'll be investigating the area my sister vanished from for a while. As a matter of professional courtesy, please inform my... Inform Turles where we'll be. I don't want there to be any misunderstandings.”
“I shall have him informed.” King Vegeta replies to her, tone all professional. “Galick, Kabuya. Please accompany Queen Komand'r and aid in her investigation into her disappearing sister.”

“SIR!” both reply, saluting your king then stepping past him towards the queen. Komand'r nods to King Vegeta, then you, then her and her people all take off together. Flying towards wherever your daughter was. Which is a good question.

“Hey Mel, where was Okira when you found her?” you ask your wife, whose eyes widen a bit before speaking telepathically.
“She was on the shore near the Guardian's Island.” your wife replies, also telepathically.

“Everyone, listen carefully. I have to tell you all something immediately, and urgent.” you think out to all of your children on New Salda. Everyone from Chaya to Karn Jr, only excepting Chilli as he's off world and Broly, as he's elsewhere as well. “Kori's sister and her people are here trying to take her back against her will. So, if any of them ask, don't tell them anything. Say you don't know who that is. Understand?”

You get various “Yes”s from them all, everyone understanding the instructions you gave them. You then end the mental link with them, linking your mind instead to all of your ship's crew. You give them the same instructions to them all that you'd given your children, getting “Yes sir!”s from all of them. No one questions the order, except for Silver.

“The Tamaraneans causin' trouble?” he asks, once the link with everyone else is ended. So you fill him in on what's happened so far, sensing the former assassin's distaste. “Well, I'll spread the word around real subtle-like. I'll make sure everyone who comes through here knows to say nothin'.”

“Appreciate it.” you reply to him, feeling thankful for his willingness to help. But after telling everyone this, you and Meloka take Okira back home. Flying back to your home you sit down with your children in the mess hall, eating a superb breakfast made by Silver and his team. Once that's done you all thank them for the meal, then ready yourselves to head out to Raven's island to begin the day's training in earnest. But as you do, you sense it. Komand'r is approaching your home with most of her force, and another ki that feels vaguely familiar but not one that you recognize. Whoever it is, however, doesn't matter as much as the Tamaraneans bringing their full force to your home.

What do you do?
>Have Meloka teleport the kids to Raven's while you go out and confront the Tamaranean Queen once more
>Have Chaya teleport her siblings while you and Meloka go out to confront Queen Komand'r
>Teleport everyone to the island, then have you and Meloka fly up behind the Tamaraneans and ask what they're doing coming to your home in force like this

“Chaya. Use your Instant Transmission and take your siblings to Raven's Island. Right now.” you tell her, Chaya nodding once.
“Alright everyone, hang on.” Chaya says, raising her right hand to her forehead. The rest of your kids go to her, while Caulifla looks to you with furrowed brows.
“Everything okay?” she asks, tone full of concern.
“It's fine, your mother and I will handle this.” you tell her, smiling and patting your daughter's shoulder. Which makes you realize how much she's growing up, as before that's the height you'd be patting her head instead. “Don't worry about it. If we need you to heal her, if a fight breaks out, we'll let you know.”

“Alright. Be safe.” she answers, reaching over and placing her hand on Tatsu's shoulder, your children all vanishing.
“You ready?” you ask Meloka, your wife cracking her knuckles while smirking at you.
“I just HOPE she tries something.” Meloka replies, a dangerous glint to her eyes. “Let's go.”

The two of you walk out of the ship, down the ramp as the Tamaranean force rapidly approaches. You don't leap into the air to confront them, the two of you remaining standing on the beach as they close in. Then, once they've arrived over your island the group spreads out menacingly, boxing your island in in a dome of bodies. Which isn't much a threat to either of you, but people like Silver, Dr. White, and the others can't stand up to a single one of these warriors even fighting together. If they try and bomb your home, they'll probably die. As you have this thought, Queen Komand'r drops from the sky, with a pair of her guards by her back while another two hold a four-armed man setting him down behind the Tamaranean Queen.

“You lying bastard! I actually believed you!” Komand'r roars, eyes blazing with power as her aura flames around her. “You son of a bitch!”
“What the hell are you talking about?” you ask, Meloka stepping forward ready to brawl as the Tamaranean royal storms forward towards you. She simply points over to the four-armed man, who looks familiar, but you can't quite place him. Have you met him before?
“I can't believe I actually believed your lies! Goro told me everything!” She continues shouting. “He told me that he saw your son with my sister!”

But you don't immediately address the furious woman, brows furrowing as you turn to the four-armed man. Even after studying him a few seconds, you still don't recognize him.

“So, who're you?” you ask him, which clearly shocks the four-armed man and leaves him stunned silent for several seconds.

“I am Goro, Shokan Prince of Outworld!” the four armed man shouts belligerently. “And now your lies have finally caught up to you, disgrace to the name of Dragon! ”
“Pretend.... Oooooh, NOW I remember you.” you say, realization dawning as you turn back to Queen Komand'r. “He's a foreign weakling who begged me for his life, after challenging me to a death match over a nickname others gave me. And apparently he still holds a grudge over it. So, what has he accused me of?”

“A craven and a weakling? Despicable.” Queen Komand'r says, turning and looking down her nose at the Shokan. “But he has accused your son of being the one hiding her.”
“Unfortunately, I don't know where he is at the moment.” you reply, sighing out. “After we went to train on Planet Yardrat, he's been spending his time wherever he wants.”
“Planet Yardrat?” she asks, you thinking to Chaya and calling her over. A second later your daughter appears, lowering her hand from her forehead.
“They're the ones who originally invented the Instant Transmission technique.” you tell the Tamaranean, then thank Chaya for helping demonstrate your point. “He could be anywhere right now.”

“Don't listen to his forked-tongue lies! He is guilty! I saw them all together!” Goro bellows, stomping towards you and Meloka. “He covers for his spawn!”

Well? What now?

“Have you REALLY seen my son with her, or are you just trying to start trouble?” you ask Goro, sighing in resignation. “I know you're still mad that you are so weak that you can't hurt me in any other way.”
“You-You dare to accuse me of lying?” he snarls, clenching all four fists and taking another step forward. “You DARE?! Bastard!”

And with that roar Goro swings, his higher left fist slamming square into your jaw. But the pathetic attack doesn't even turn your head, you narrowing your glare at him.

“This is exactly what I'm talking about.” you say, turning your gaze from him to Komand'r. “Sorry this guy wasted your time with his bullshit, I'd thought he had left ages ago. If I'd have known he was still around, I'd have warned you about him.”
“You are the dishonest one, lying snake!” Goro bellows, drawing back both right fists and swinging them both at you. One at your head and the other at your sternum. But again you don't make any moves to defend yourself, his fists striking ineffectually. You continue speaking with Komand'r as if he isn't here, not even looking his way.
“Did you find any other leads?” you ask her, taking a more serious tone. “Or did this moron completely derail your search?”

“Liar! Pretender! False dragon!” Goro continues to bellow as she tries to reply, clearly annoying Komand'r who then grabs his right fist as he draws it back. Stopping his arm completely and causing the 'warrior' to look back over his shoulder.
“You've wasted my time.” she says, Goro immediately getting belligerent with her.
“You believe him over me? ME?! I am Goro, Prince of the Shokan and-!” he starts, when Komand'r has had enough. Driving her own fist glowing with her power into the taller being's guts, sending him flying backwards. “GUUUUH!”
“Oh shut UP!” she replies as her punch sends him flying back, Goro crashing into the shallow waters with a massive splash. She then sighs out, letting her energy fade before turning back towards you. “As much as I hate to say it, I'm sorry. I hadn't realized that this source was so-”

“You stupid BITCH!” Goro roars, exploding out of the waves and charging straight for Queen Komand'r, all four fists blazing with his fiery power. Which clearly annoys Komand'r, who signals to her guards preparing to intercept to instead stand down, staying out of her way. She clenches her fists as the self-proclaimed prince charges, crimson energy crackling around her hands. Looks like she plans on handling this herself.

You wordlessly watch as Komand'r readies herself to attack, kicking off the ground towards Goro when suddenly the words she'd spoken earlier come to mind. But how do you do this?

“Arctus, I need your help.” you think to Freeza's cousin as Queen Komand'r charges. “I need my scouter's footage from a few minutes ago, to the end of this fight backed up.”
“Sure, I can handle that once you get me your scouter.” he replies, but then adds with a note of concern. “Why, what's going on?”
“I'll fill you in when it's over, but Komand'r's here.” you tell him as the Tamaranean Queen closes the distance, slamming her crimson energy-clad right fist into and THROUGH Goro's chest. Stopping the larger man's charge in place.

“Wha-? Im....possi...ble...” Goro says, dropping to his knees as she draws her fist out of him. His blood sprays all over the queen, Komand'r seemingly enjoying it a bit too much.
“Good riddance.” you hear Meloka mutter, Goro's body going limp.
“Got it.” you mutter, turning to Meloka as you raise your right hand to your forehead and focus on . “Stay here a second.”
“Huh?” your wife asks, but you're already gone. Teleporting directly to Arctus's side, taking off your scouter and handing it to him.

“Here. I need this video backed up, but not available to anyone else.” you tell him, Arctus immediately drawing a cord from his desk and flipping a panel on the scouter you didn't know moved, plugging it into his massive central console on the Lucrehulk. “It's got blackmail on Komand'r, I got her with the same crime she's accusing her sister of.”
“And you're gonna use that to force her to back off? Nice thinking.” he replies, fingers flying over his keyboard. “I think you've gotten a lot more devious than you used to be.”
“What can I say? Been dealing with more and more problems I can't simply punch away.” you reply, Arctus then unplugging the scouter and handing it to you. “Done already?”

“I pulled all I need, the data's being transferred here and scrubbed from the rest of the PTO's network. Same thing I'd done with that OTHER footage you wanted erased.”

And as he says this, you can almost hear that damned clown's laughter in the back of your mind. But only for a moment, as you put your scouter back on.

“Thanks for this, I owe you.” you reply, teleporting back to New Salda. Just in time to see your wife and Komand'r standing toe-to-toe, about to come to blows. Well, you should have probably seen this coming.

Yeah actually. Seeing Komand'r pull a Komand'r has never been so hilarious.

My money is on at least a dozen dead guards by the end of the day.

I'm sure they've found some way to pass the time. Maybe hand-holding?

Keeping Meloka's skank shanking impulses in check. Komand'r's mere presence is like blood to a shark. Makes the blackmail bit a little more difficult I imagine, since we'd be accusing Komand'r of the same legal slighting that Meloka is committing right now.

But hey, she had it coming.

“Meloka, that's enough!” you say, projecting your voice over the two women's arguing. Your wife immediately steps back, noticeably staying between Queen Komand'r and the dying man while the royal turns to face you. “I got what I needed.”
“What-You-Where did you go?” she asks, an accusatory tone in her voice. “What are you up to?”
“Oh, nothing much. Was just getting the video of my scouter backed up.” you tell her, tapping the tiny machine on your face. “The video of you attacking and murdering a foreign people's emissary, and a noble of their race to boot.”

As you say this her eyes widen, at first shocked, then confused, rapidly followed by being furiously angry. Her eyes blaze crimson as she unconsciously taps into that magic gem hanging around her neck, arms trembling in barely-restrained fury.

“You-! YOU! You... devious bastard!” she says, her fury giving way to incredulity as you hear her trying to hold back her laughter. “Did you really just play me? Son of a bitch!”

You'd anticipated her fury, her wrath, but not...This. Her sudden laughter, clutching her sides is rather more unsettling to you than her anger, honestly. With her laughing about you having blackmail on her, you're left completely unsure as to how to react. And it would seem that you're not the only one. Your wife's fury vanishes, replaced with confusion as she backs further away from the queen uncertainly. Even her soldiers look to each other, low murmurs from them mirroring your own confusion.

“I never even saw it coming.” she replies, raising a hand and actually wiping a tear from her eye before raising her gaze back to you before looking over at the dying Shokan prince. “You got me to remove a nuisance to yourself and incriminate myself, all in one fell swoop. Hell, was he in on it too?”
“Who, Goro? No, I'd honestly forgotten he was still here.” you tell her, which only causes her to break back out in laughter once again. She tries to talk through her laughter, you only catching the word 'coincidence' as she giggles uncontrollably to herself. It takes her another minute or so to settle back down, her usual scowl or smug look replaced with one of genuine seeming happiness. For some reason.

“Not gonna lie, I didn't take you for the type. But you got me.” she replies, holding her hands out to her sides palms towards you. “I'm completely at your mercy. So, General Karn, what are your demands?”

Well?

Make her fucking squirm. We have her where we want her.
>>
>>5574295
My main problem is she's getting off to this a little.
>You will also take responsibility for your sister's faked crimes and clear her of them.

Do you reckon we could try to slip in an "abdicate the throne to Koriand'r"? If she doesn't take that bait, we can remove it as part of the negotiations that would obviously take place. But it'd be hella useful to have a more benevolent ruler up there, in my honest opinion.
All negotiations should begin with something you're willing to get rid of in it, so that you can get what you REALLY want without compromise.
>>
The problem is that giving Koriand'r a get out of jail free card in our demands is that it gives Komand'r the leverage of accusing us of treason. We'd need a way to clear her of her charges without playing our favored hand too much and exposing ourselves.
>>
>>5574315
Not a chance in hell. For starters we never even asked if Koriand'r wanted to be queen.

“Look, I just want you to leave and quit causing trouble for me and my people.” you tell her seriously, feeling the Shokan's power rapidly fading away. You have maybe a minute, at most, to save him before he passes. “Your sister running away from you because you set her to have her executed up isn't my or my people's problem, and neither are the fake charges you leveled against her.”

As you say this her eyes widen in surprise, jaw dropping a bit a she clearly hadn't expected this. But you don't stop there and keep going.

“If I see your sister I'll let her know you visited, but as for Turles and Ticho, leave them alone. If and when they want to meet with you either I or Meloka can facilitate that instantly, however if I catch you trying to harm them again you won't walk away from it.”
“I already spoke with Turles, he approached me earlier.” she tells you, catching you by surprise. “He made his intentions clear, as well as his daughter's wishes. And I will respect hi-respect their wishes.”

Which is something you hadn't known, having been too distracted while you were eating and thinking through how to handle this to focus on your ki sense to have noticed. But speaking of notice, you do sense Goro's ki dropping faster, considering sending him away with Meloka to be healed. But his life being lost is something your son can fix, so you continue pressing.

“Promise that you'll leave us alone, to not antagonize my people or those under my protection. That you'll drop all those drummed up charges against your sister, and respect Turles and Ticho's choices. Do that, and I'll handle this problem for you, ensuring that you face no consequences from this attack.” you tell her, reaching out with your right hand. “Swear on your life that you will honor your word.”

She looks from your face down to your hand and back, clearly calculating everything. You notice her look again to your scouter, knowing now for certain that this interaction is being recorded as well, then back over to Goro dying on the ground behind your wife before returning her gaze to you.

“Is... Is that REALLY it?”

“What?” you ask, surprised at her question. “What do you mean?”
“With political ammunition like this, you could force all sorts of....Concessions from me, General Karn.” Queen Komand'r says, running a hand down herself suggestively a moment. “Yet you're only using it to save my sister and prevent conflict between us that is already illegal with the current PTO treaty. You could have tried to force me to stand down and let my little sister TAKE the throne, or make my people a vassal to your own, or all sorts of other power plays. So why?”

“Because that's none of my concern. If your people don't want you as their ruler, they'll take you down themselves. I'm not in the business of regime change.” you tell her, leaving your arm outstretched towards her. “So, what's it going to be? Will you accept the terms? Or will both you and your sister go down on the same charges?”
“Well, it is not like I'm in a position to say no.” Queen Komand'r says with a somehow still smug grin, walking forward and clasping your right forearm with her hand. “I accept your terms,”

Immediately as she says this your Stand appears, binding both of your arms together tightly. The Queen of Tamaran gasps as, for the first time she can see your crimson-scaled Stand. She tries to pull away, but is unable to, your arms bound together.

“What the hell is that?!” she shouts, her guards all immediately ready for battle. But then your Stand's head turns towards her, addressing Komand'r directly.
“The promise has been made.” your Stand says to her. “The terms have been set and the deal is struck. For Karn freeing her of the consequences of the attack on Goro, Komand'r, Queen of Tamaran will leave Karn and his family alone, to not antagonize his people or those under his protection. That she will drop the charges against her sister, and respect Turles and Ticho's choices. The consequence of breaking this vow: DEATH.”

Your Stand's eyes then flash, blinding both of you as well as everyone present. Causing you all to recoil back, you and the Tamaranean Queen stepping back from each other, arms no longer bound as it disappears. The deal is struck, your Stand making another of its Pact Guardians within her.

“What was that?” Queen Komand'r says, her tone accusatory towards you. “What did you do?”
“That was my Stand's power, the Dragon Pact.” you tell her, walking over to the almost-dead Shokan and kneeling down, placing your left on his shoulder and your right to your forehead. “It will enforce the terms of our deal between us.”

Then before she can ask any more questions you teleport Goro inside your ship, directly by Dr. White. As he starts opening the pod you use your Spirit Control Healing to mitigate his wounds and keep him alive, but you're not good enough with the technique to heal him of a fatal wound. So, once he's ready you help the good doctor by lifting and putting the four-armed man into the larger Healing Pod, it sealing after he's affixed the breathing mask to his face. For a moment you watch as the healing fluids begin filling the pod, Dr. White turning towards you with his eyes narrowed.

“That injury. Too small to have been from you.” he says, an odd tone in his voice. “What happened?”
“I”ll explain in a bit. But if he starts to wake up, call me IMMEDIATELY, he's dangerous.” you tell him, bringing your right hand to your forehead. “It's politics.”
“Shit.” the doctor says, you teleporting back to your wife's side as she and the queen are talking.
“-n't let them go.” she finishes her sentence to your wife, then looks back to you. “There's just one thing I don't get. How did you hide my sister? If you used a portal to another world, the tracker would simply be pinging there. How did you block the signal?”

Well? Do you answer?

“I don't know what you're talking about.” you tell her, the Tamaranean royal smirking at you. “But I hope you figure out whatever's wrong with your tracker.”
“I'm sure we'll figure out whatever trick is keeping the tracker in her from transmitting.” she replies with a wink. “But if you somehow manage to come across it, let me know and I'll send someone to pick it up.”

“If it happens, I will make sure it gets back to you.” you tell her, Komand'r flying up and ordering her people to start preparing to head home. You turn to Meloka, whose eyes haven't left the Tamaranean Queen.

“Wish I'd have gotten to beat her ass again.” she says as the Tamaraneans all take off towards the city. You sense a few scattering across the planet, moving to gather the rest of their kind before they all head back. “So, when are you going to get Broly and Kori back?”
“Not until they leave, at least.” you tell her, the two of you watching as they all rapidly fly away from your home. “For now, let's go to the kids and see how their training is going.”
“Right.” she replies, and instead of simply teleporting the two of you instead fly over to the Guardian's Island. You both touch down as the younger kids are all following Chaya's instructions on the Su Ma technique, Raven and the former Guardian's spirit overseeing them. He notices your approach and turns his head, nodding towards you both.

“Good to see you, it is.” the elderly spirit says, you and your wife both greeting him. The four of you observe the kids' training, but your focus is also on the Tamaranean ki signatures by King Vegeta. You asked him if he needed any help, but he said that you'd done enough and he could handle the rest. So, leaving the politics to him you watch your children practice until the foreign ki signatures take off, flying away from New Salda and presumably back towards their world of Tamaran.
“They're finally gone.” you say, standing up. “Guess we should bring them back now.”

But how do you do this?
>Take your daughter to Dreadzone before opening her library, let Komand'r think it was Vox's tech that somehow suppressed it before disabling the tracker
>Bring Okira with you to Planet Yardrat before opening her library, then enter it with her and shut it behind you both before deactivating the tracker while still inside

What are we gonna do with Goro?
I know it depends on how he takes it, but we might as well discuss the potential opportunities of this situation while we have the time.

“You sure?” Meloka asks you, brows furrowed. “Shouldn't you wait a little longer first, to make sure they can't come back fast enough to catch her?”
“That's why we won't be doing it here.” you say, reaching out with your mind to the Yardratian elder, Pybara. “Elder Pybara. Would you mind if we swung by for a minute? Need to open a portal.”
“Of course, feel free.” he replies instantly, you nodding then calling out to Okira.
“Hey kiddo, are you ready to bring Broly and Kori back?”
“Yeah!” she replies, running over as her Stand slithers out her mouth. “You ready?”
“Ready.” Imagine Dragon says, the two taking deep breaths in. But you reach out, placing a hand on each of them.

“Hold on kiddo, not here.” you tell her. “We're gonna go back to Yardrat first, just in case.”
“I get to see Teacher Pybara again?” she asks, eyes sparkling at this. To which you nod, taking your hand off her Stand and raising it to your forehead. “YAAAAY!”

Without another wasted breath you teleport, taking you and your daughter directly to the elder's side. Before you've even lowered your hand Okira's lunged, leaping at the Gigantified Elder's chest.

“PYBARA!” she shouts excitedly, the Yardratian Elder not even caught by surprise but easily catching your daughter.
“Hello little one. It is good to see you.” Pybara says, your daughter laughing happily. “Have you been keeping up with your training?”
“Yes sir, of course I have!” she says with a smile. “How have you been?”
“Things have been very quiet since you and your siblings left.” he tells her, you can see the elder's very apparent joy. You let her and him talk a moment, tracking the Tamaraneans with your ki sense and feeling just how far they are away from your current location. “I heard that you are going to be opening a portal here.”

“Yeah! You wanna see my library?” she asks him, Imagine Dragon emerging as she talks. “I gotta get Broly an' Kori back out, I hid them in there earlier!”
“Yes, that's why we're here kiddo.” you tell her. “We're going into your library, then we have to take that tracker out of Kori. So, whenever you're ready go ahead.”
“I'm ready!” she says, sharing a glance with her Stand. “You ready?”
“Whenever you are.” Imagine Dragon says, the two again taking in simultaneous deep breaths. Then, as one, speak.

“OPEN SESAME!”

And to your surprise, suddenly you can sense both Koriand'r and Broly's ki from a few feet away, a hole appearing in space that leads to a room that looks quite similar to Raven's library that you've gotten glances of a few times. With....noticeable changes. You see that the floor is covered in a deep, fuzzy carpeting that your daughter likes the feeling of, the two inside's boots beside the portal as it opens to show what they're doing. And you see you son sitting on the carpet, leaned back against the bookshelf while Kori sits in his lap, both seemingly reading from the same book. They don't immediately notice the portal opening, only reacting as Okira calls out.

“BROLY! KORI!” she shouts, rushing inside. You gesture for Elder Pybara to go first, the Yardratian shrinking down to his normal size and walking in, you powering out of your Ascended form back to base and squeezing inside as well. Once inside you see she's leaped onto them both, arms wrapped around Kori and as far around her brother as she can manage.
“Hey kiddo, you have to shut the door back before Komand'r can find us.” you tell her, your daughter leaping up with an “Oh yeah!” She then runs back to the portal, her and her Stand saying “Close Sesame” this time to shut the magical doorway before turning back around. “Good job.”

“Umm, hello sir.” Koriand'r greets Pybara, seemingly a bit nervous. “Forgive me, but I do not believe we are acquainted.”
“I am Pybara, the Elder of Planet Yardrat.” he tells her, then turns his gaze to Broly. “I see you've met one of my most talented students.”
“It is good to see you again.” Broly answers him, but then telepathically to you. “What's going on back home? Why is Elder Pybara here?”
“I'll explain everything later.” you say aloud as Okira then takes the elder's hand and starts showing him around her private library. You then turn your focus to Koriand'r, frowning. “Unfortunately, you've been tracked. Somehow your sister was able to track you all the way to New Salda.”

“She tracked me? Of course she did.” Kori says, sighing out as her shoulders slump. “That is unfortunate.”
“Unfortunate? Why?” you ask her. Koriand'r quickly explains how the tracker her sister was following was something used on the slaves and prisoners of her people, something injected directly into their bloodstream. Using the power of one's blood flowing, the tiny transmitter would continue to be powered as long as the subject still lived, and for several days afterwards as well. Which is admittedly clever.
“It would seem that I'll never be free from my sister hunting me now.” Kori says, you kneeling down and laying a hand on her shoulder.
“Not gonna happen.” you tell her. “I've already... Negotiated with your sister, she's going to be dropping her charges against you.”

“Really? That is such wonderful news!” Kori exclaims, flying up to her feet and spinning around with joy before drifting back to the fluffy carpet. “So we can all go back home then?”
“Yes. Just have one small matter left to attend to. We're getting that tracker out of you.” you tell her, to which her eyes widen. “Or, rather, Okira over here will.”
“Me?” your youngest daughter asks, looking over a little worried. “I'm gonna do it?”
“Of course kiddo. You and Imagine Dragon have the perfect power to do so.” you tell her. “With the two of you working together, getting that out of her shouldn't be a problem.”

“But what if I mess up?” she asks, sounding worried. “What if I say it wrong?”
“Your Stand can't affect the living, remember?” you tell her, to which your daughter's eyes light up. “All you have to do is say that the tracker inside Koriand'r is now in her sister instead. That's all you have to do.”
“That's a great idea! I can do that.” Okira says with a giggle before sharing a look with her Stand. Both nod, then she walks over to Koriand'r and both take a deep breath in before speaking together.

“THE TRACKER INSIDE KORIAND'R IS NOW IN HER SISTER INSTEAD.” they say, but nothing immediately happens. Koriand'r looks herself over, then to your daughter, then you.
“Umm. Did it work?” she asks, looking uncertain.
“Only one way to tell. Whenever you're ready Okira, we'll go back outside.”
“I'm ready!” she says, running over to the spot where her portal'd opened up before. But then she looks back, a bit confused. “Should it open back home, or back on Teacher's planet?”

To which you look over to Elder Pybara, who has a gentle smile on his face.

“My home, if you would. Your planet's gravity is a bit too intense for my old bones.” he says, Okira nodding and once more opening the portal. Broly and Koriand'r put their boots back on and head out with you and the elder. Okira closes her portal, then yawns a bit. Seems using her Stand so many times to open and close inter-dimensional portals does take a toll on them both. However, as she sways on her feet you scoop her up into your arms, holding Okira as she yawns again. But this moment of peace is immediately interrupted, a furious voice screaming into your mind.

“KAAAAAAAAAAAARN!!”

But you end the mental link to the Queen of Tamaran immediately, enjoying your cleverly-won victory instead of dealing with her temper tantrum. But her outrage at this result does put a smile on your face.

And that's it for this episode, everyone enjoy the ride? Ready to see where we go from here? Next episode is going to start with Meloka Wolbach's first birthday, who is ready for the first day of AGE 755? We're almost to Beerus's arrival as well, only two more years before the year of his arrival. Do you think you're going to be ready when he arrives? And what other threats the universe has in store for you all? Find out, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!

Remember, Karn has no idea what that is. It hasn’t been absorbed into Saiyan culture yet. But it is certainly important to the Crimson Demons. Chilli and Megumin just want everyone to show up and celebrate with them

Impossible. Remember, both Broly and Kori’s ki completely disappeared. And while you don’t know IC, everyone is unreachable via telepathy in that pocket dimension.
True. But poisoning herself to poison someone else is such a roundabout use of her powers.

Saying this, Goku casually teleported into an unreachable pocket spatial dimension that Demigra created in XV1.
>>
>>5575401
Yes he did appear. But was that ALL his own doing? After all, who PUT Demigra in the Cracks of Time and could open it enough for Goku to teleport into? As you felt, the moment the dimension started opening you could sense what was inside

QM UPDATE/QUESTIONS

As of right now, episode 192 will NOT be starting this coming weekend as I’ll be rolling irl dice. However, the epilogue for this week should be out Saturday evening. February Patron Comm hopefully dropping Saturday as well.

But what about you all? Enjoying the faster pace of this arc, compared to the last two? Enjoying the spotlight coming to different characters’ rising up to start realizing their potential, and ready for more? Or do you want to skip all that and hurry and get to funny dancing cat man? Who do you think will fare the best against Beerus -before- the Super Saiyan God ritual is used? And are you ready for next episode, when Ubo finally returns?

>>5577492
Nice! Always a good day.
>>
>>5577518
I'm ready to help Ubo. Now that everything is done, Cold can have an honest chat with him.
>>
>>5577560
>Now that everything is done
Done? Oh no, not done. We’re just getting started!
>>
>>5577599
Oh know....those digits speak of horror
>>
>>5577518
>Who do you think will fare the best against Beerus -before- the Super Saiyan God ritual is used?

I think it’s a toss up between Karn, Meloka, Broly and maybe Chaya.

Beerus would be immediately interested in Chaya the most, seeing as she has god ki and he would mistake her for the Super Saiyan God.
>>
>>5577606
A lot of plots are being introduced this arc, many of which won’t pay off for a while. But we’re also getting several resolutions, like the Chaya/Tanya rematch. Which is what the epilogue will set up a bit more. She is STRUGGLING to make the scenario that she’ll win.
>>5578065
>doesn’t include Freeza
Damn. But yes he most certainly will be interested in Chaya’s semi-divine power.
>>
>>5578199
>doesn’t include Freeza
Pretty sure Beerus by then would catch the unfortunate whiff of bitch-stink and bitch-slap Frieza on sight. After all, he IS one of the few beings that give even King Cold pause and told Frieza to clean up HIS dirty work.
>>
>>5578199
>She thinks strategy will beat the ultimate Warrior
Bold of her. I see the Godling stuff is rotting her brain a little.
>>
>>5578297
What I'm getting at is he could improve himself in the now-two years left before AGE 757. He could also regress, but we'll have to wait and see.
>>5578440
It's essentially the same strategy as last time, grind down Chaya's otherwise insurmountable power and stamina before confronting her personally. But all of her simulations end with her being defeated by the former Champion without even seriously weakening her. Tanya needs a new plan. Or, perhaps, she needs to seek inspiration from older battlefields. One she's all too familiar with...
>>
>>5578526
This oughta be good, if Tanya lives I'll be happy, Chaya being pissed she lost her spot because she was up her ass requires some self reflection.
>>
>>5578574
It will certainly be THE Dreadzone match of the century, the biggest televised event since the Siege of New Salda, even bigger than Karn vs Arbiter or Chaya's first Champion title fight.
As for Chaya, she's learned and more importantly INTERNALIZED her mistake. She'll never do the same again.
>>
>>5578673
On one hand, good, on the other, Tanya was just doing what she was supposed too. I'll miss the gremlin.
>>
>>5578677
We'll see how this all plays out, whether or not Chaya wins. And if she does, whether or not she will want to spare Tanya's life.
>>
>>5578698
If Tanya thinks about surviving after Chaya beats her, she may have a chance
>>
>>5578729
It won't be HER choice, should Chaya win.

NANI?![/SPOILER]

Makes me wonder if he’s trying to go for a fifth transformation or to aim for golden. Though with his skill set he’d still be able to hit above his powerlevel.
>>
So I'm looking at the power levels thanks to >>5578922 and I only have one question to ask. Did Meloka forget how to go regular SS and SS2 or did she get herself re-stuck in SS3 again
>>
>>5578922
I don’t see the problem?
>>5579034
Turns out beating his son(s) for their stupid was good exercise.
>>5579095
She still KNOWS how, but at this point it’s harder for her to go into those lesser forms than going 3
>>
So... has Emilia not had anything to say regarding her family's, and her home planet's destruction?
>>
>>5579172
Still hoping for a small intermission of hell to see how the Zoldacs and all the citizens take their vengeance on fatass.
>>
>>5579172
Not to you.
>>5579176
Not likely. But although Buu’s body has lived, the soul has moved to the afterlife. Janemba happening isn’t impossible...
>>
>>5579249
I guess it makes a certain amount of sense that Buu would be the dominant personality of Janemba. Sorta like how King Jerrod's the dominant soul in Ermac.
As for what could possibly distract the demon overseeing the machine in this timeline...
please tell me Chaya's music hasn't gotten popular in Other World.
>>
Just a reminder that there will be NO SCQ episode this weekend, only 191’s epilogue and the February comm for the patrons.

>>5579694
Fusion Reborn clearly takes place in the timeline Ultimate Gohan beat and killed Buu, as Goku and Vegeta are both dead while Gohan, Goten, Videl, and Trunks all still live. So when the soul of chaotic evil went through the machine and exploded, Buu’s power and personality were a major component. After all, Goku’s “Majin Buu was the only one to push me this far” line indicates its post-Buu, but in a timeline where he stayed dead with Vegeta.
Who knows?
>>
Patron epilogue is now live for the patrons, March comm vote going up Monday. Speaking of the patreon, I do need to get back on that grind. Haven't posted anything there aside from the comms for months.
>>
>>5581604
Just read the epilogue. Good to get some clarification as to the currently known extent of Okira's powers.
It was also good to confirm that the kids are getting relatively normal upbringings. Really makes me feel like all the work was worth it.
>>
>>5581628
Yep. No more worrying about getting airbombed by filthy Tuffles or contracting dysentery. And an extra bonus, Grandpa Karn can start pulling the "Back in MY DAY" card
>>
>>5581628
Glad you enjoyed, writing the kids pov's are always fun to write. And yes, compared to Karn they have had much better lives.
>>5581634
True, would be funny to pull in the right circumstances.
>>
>>5581656
So what's the upper limit on the most advanced gravity chamber available to Karn? Would Okira be able to create a stronger one?
>>
>>5581667
Well, IC you know King Vegeta's supposedly goes up to 100x New Salda's gravity, or 2000x Earth's gravity. Create? No. But improve? She could potentially.
>>
>>5581674
Taking into account Karn's chosen training goals, would you recommend training our ass off in Vegeta's chamber for the next two years?
I know being in Ascended Berserk all the time would kill our gains, but the Energy Body passive would be able to mitigate that to some degree, right?
>>
>>5581686
Remember, the vote waaaaay back for the timeskip training wasn't on pushing your own limits in the gravity chamber. But instead anons voted on focusing on mastering Ascended Berserker and raising up others to be stronger, including the students and your children.
>>
>>5581735
You're right, you're right. Those are all important goals, I just didn't want to be caught out in terms of overall power-level forever
Karn's still sparring with folks around his own level regularly though, right?
>>
Also, just a note before this epilogue's finished and I post, it will be only a part one of two full parts, the second part dropping this coming Thursday as a follow up to this one. It's going to set up the final(?) battle between Tanya and Chaya.

>>5581739
Karn's still the strongest Saiyan in his timeline, aside from Broly's newfound Primal power. And he does with Meloka regularly, and with both Future Chaya and Ace while over at Towa's place so he doesn't fall out of practice against stronger foes.
>>
>>5581746
I should have assumed as much. Sparring Ace regularly in particular is also a massive boon given his extremely varied playbook. That guy just has a back for mastering new techniques...did he learn anything from Karn?
>>
ALMOST DONE, this one is taking quite a while.

>>5581804
Energy Body for certain, as well as Guided Eye Beams. The bigger techniques like Red Dawn, Event Horizon, etc haven't been copied in training simply due to not having the space to use them.
>>
>>5581831
Has he seen what Karn did to BOI with those techniques?
>>
>>5581851
Oh, he absolutely knows how devastating Guided Eye Beams can be. Why do you think he wanted Karn to use it on him, so he could learn it?
>>
>>5581862
On the topic of learning moves and teaching, have Karn and Meloka started teaching their students the principles of Spirit Control?
>>
>>5581896
A little bit. Just starting them along the path to one day study under the Elder. Just because they KNOW how certain things work doesn't mean they can teach it. Prime example, Joseph Joestar.
>>
>>5581897
Yeah, fair point. That said, getting them on track to get the proper training is also a very good start.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 191 Epilogue I-

AGE 754, DREADZONE CHAMPION'S QUARTERS

“Dammit!” you snarl, slamming your fist down on your desk. “Dammit dammit dammit!!”
“G-General?” your longtime assistant Major Voktoriya Serebryakov, or Visha as several of your former subordinates nicknamed her asks you. She sounds nervous, almost afraid of you at your sudden outburst. “Are you okay?”
“It's still not enough!” you shout, jerking off your headphones before slamming your palms on the table and surging upright. Stepping away from the table, you wildly run your hands through your hair, pacing in a small circle around the aptly named 'War Room'. “Everything I've thought up hasn't worked! Even doubling the forces from last time doesn't slow her down enough to even be a contest! Dammit!”

But then everything stops. The major freezes, the audible hum of air recycling, everything grinds to a halt. And you hear an all-too familiar voice speaking to you.

“Is this how a god should behave? Letting their emotions overcome them?” Being X's voice comes, echoing out in this timeless space. “Especially a self-proclaimed “Goddess of Strategy”?”
“Oh, fuck off already. Don't you have someone else to bother?” you say with a sigh. You are Tanya Degurechaff, General and Champion of Dreadzone, stealer of divine power, and now you're facing your worst challenge yet: devising a method of defeating that spoiled Saiyan bitch Chaya. Again. The first time you beat her, you were able to capitalize on her arrogance, wearing her down and taking her out after she was weakened. But you have a feeling that particular plan won't work twice. “Unless you have a workable idea, go away so I can think.”
“Mortals defying the natural order is quite vexing, is it not?” Being X says, you seeing that this time his words are coming from the Chaya avatar on your simulation's screen. Which only pisses you off more. “But you're not going to be able to overpower her. Even two to one, by my estimates, she'll defeat you. A shame you haven't gathered enough worshipers to compete.”

“There's no way in hell I'd ever out-popular her, at least among general, non-niche audiences.” you fire back, fury fading as you argue and rationalize your position. “With this body I don't appeal to the widest range of men like her more developed and toned figure, and her airheadedness is seen as more approachable and 'cute' than myself.”
“She is quite the performer.” Being X agrees, then throws another jab your way. “Too bad you aren't able to capitalize on this, with all your experience.”
“Even when I do, it STILL isn't enough.” you retort, returning to your pacing while remembering how poorly a battle between the two of you here on Dreadzone Station went. Her estimated power was still around 80% when the battle concluded, you defeated at her feet. “I'm going to have to come up with something completely different.”

>>5581908
“Umm, General? Who are you talking to?” she asks, pulling you out of your deliberations a moment.
“Don't worry Major Serebryakov, I'm just venting my frustrations.” you say, not slowing or even looking up as you continue pacing around the room then continue muttering to yourself. “I need an edge. Something, ANYTHING to give me the advantage when we fight again.”
“What about that energy-draining beam?” she asks you, head tilting curiously. “Won't that bring her power down enough for her to be defeated?”

“Hmph, not likely.” you retort. “The more energy you want to take, the longer the beam has to remain on the target. And she's too strong and quick for it to hit her for more than a second or two before the user is destroyed. No, I need more. I need to wear her down, to grind her into dust and exhaust her near-insurmountable power before challenging her one-on-one. I just have to find out how.”
“She is on another level.” Serebryakov says with a sigh, resting her cheek on her hand. “Too bad we didn't have her on our side back at the Rhine. We wouldn't have spent so long in that awful place.”

And as she says this you freeze, turning slowly to face her.

“What did you say?” you ask her, voice a low hiss. She actually flinches away, fear in her eyes at the intense stare. “Say it again.”
“W-We wouldn't have spent so long in that awful place?” she says questioningly, looking uncertain as you shake your head.
“No no, before that.” you tell her, stepping towards her as she makes a small, squeak-like sound.
“I-I said 'too bad we didn't have her on our side.” she says with a tremble. “Back at the Rhine.”

“The Rhine...” you say, bringing your right hand up to your chin, chewing on the tip of your thumb as you think a thousand miles a second. “Yes, that could work. Visha, that's brilliant! I could kiss you right now!”
“Whaaa-?! Umm, I mean...” she says, clearly sounding nervous at this. So you raise your hand and dismissively wave the possible sexual harassment claim from her off.
“Just a figure of speech, don't take it too seriously.” you say absently, focusing on remembering every aspect of that terrible battlefield. You hear her make what sounds like an almost disappointed sound, but pay it no mind as your eyes dart back and forth. Yes, this is it. This could work! You rush over to your desk, sliding into your seat and letting your fingers fly over the keyboard. Your years of office work from your previous life come back while typing, fingers moving with practiced precision.

>>5581909
For the next what feels like an hour your fingers never stop moving, building one of the worse battlefields you've ever personally experienced in Dreadzone's proprietary simulation program. Rebuilding the Rhine Theater of war from memory, Then, once it's all complete, you run the program, dropping Chaya's avatar down square into the middle of the no-man's land. Immediately she takes fire from both sides, using her father's technique to prevent the attacks from damaging her. You watch as she takes heavy artillery fire from both sides. There weren't any actual artillery pieces in the system so you had to use the Puma tanks common to Dreadzone, but their firepower suppress her. Your soldiers on both sides fire at her with a variety of weapons, from automatic weapons firing conventional and energy projectiles to sniper rifles firing beams of light.

Chaya finally picks a side to attack first, rushing in with her shield at full power to take what would otherwise be lethal damage on the way in before reaching the mechanized soldiers there. Once she's closed the distance Chaya is easily able to grind down the forces there, wiping them out while out of range of the others side. She then turns and flies that way and it's the same song and dance as before. However, just from that few moments, the sheer volume of fire she took in the no-man's land damaging her energy levels more than than your ENTIRE last simulation. As the battle concludes you sit back in your seat, sighing out in relief. This is it, it can work! This can really work!

“Wow. I hadn't thought it would be THAT effective.” Major Serebryakov says, looking over your shoulder at the results. “But how do you stop her from just taking out one side or the other?”
“That's simple, we can set a boundary for the opening mission.” you say, fingers again flying over the keyboard and setting a cubic boundary. “Something to protect, or some other reason she can't leave the area.”

Your fingers fly over the keyboard, shaping a cubic area around the area you'd initially dropped her down into. Then inspiration strikes, adding poisonous gasses out around the initial area to fence her in. You then set one of the craft to be flying over the battlefield when it starts up, setting it to get shot down and crash into the 'safe' area between clouds of poison.

“Yes, yes! This is it!” you say to yourself, making the challenge more and more difficult. After several more minutes of work, designing a set of challenges, it is complete. “Now, let's see how she handles THIS!”

>>5581911
Once again you start up the simulation, watching intensely as the woman battles her way through your greatest challenge yet. Inspired by your own admittedly traumatic time on the front lines, you watch as AI Chaya struggles to complete objective after objective, fighting constantly for over two hours. Then, once she's finally completed the missions, you drop in and the gas comes back, hemming you both in in an area wide enough to fit four of the full size Dreadzone Station arenas in.

Your avatars battle on while the artillery and soldiers continue firing indiscriminately, trying to take both of you down while they also shoot at each other. The battle continues for several minutes, soldiers and armor from both sides rushing in and attacking each other underneath your aerial battle when suddenly your frame rate starts noticeably dropping.

“Wh-What?” you say, watching as the console struggles for a few more moments before everything fully freezes, the machine then crashing and going to a blue error screen before the machine fully shuts down, going into its auto-reboot and repair sequence. You exhale slowly, leaning back in your seat while the machine tries to restart.
“U-ummm, what does that mean?” Major Serebryakov asks, looking to you. Where she no doubt sees the wide grin spreading across your face.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Z3JvAb6LA

“Mean? It means that we've got a chance.” you tell her, pushing yourself up and out of the chair. “Get the engineers on the line, let them know I'll be down there in ten minutes. It's about time for us to show this Saiyan what a REAL war looks like!”

Caulifla has joined her older sister for a workout stream or thirty, bringing her in as inspiration for those trying to actually better themselves and follow along. Every day. But she’s proven harder to keep’happy’ than Chaya ever was. Tanya’s more abrasive attitude has driven away some of the willing talent who’d joined up during Chaya’s time as champion, while some of the ‘less willing’ have taken to trying to escape to get away from her. Vox may be hoping for Tanya to LOSE, and is only giving her the budget he is because the grander the show, the more he’ll make off the pay-per-view

>>5585818
Yeah, Vox is less than enthusiastic about her prospects as champion, going forward.
>>5585844
It was a vote for the name by anons, however I’m certain that was at least partially the reason.
>>
>>5585859
an entire lifetime of mogging
>>
>>5585859
>U6 btfo
>>
>>5586594
Even if their greatest fighters weren't malnourished teenagers, the greatest one trick pony, an frost demon weaker than Cooler, and a bunch of fucking mooks, they'd still be mogged hard by U7.
Hell, even canon U7 gets mogged by just about lineup we could come up with.
It goes to show the importance of uplifting the people around you, not just yourself.
>>
>>5586494
Ha
>>5586594
They won’t have nearly as good a time of the Destroyers tournament, should such a thing come to pass.
>>5586608
But you don’t know what Dr Rota’s power is. Perhaps it is something great enough to turn the tide.
Maybe once we reach that AGE, maybe.
>It goes to show the importance of uplifting the people around you, not just yourself.
Bingo. Sure you’re not as strong as you could be by going full Jiren, full “I don’t need friends” and fucked off to some remote corner of space to do nothing but increase your might. But this version of Karn we’re playing lives a much better life. And when the chips are all down, you’ll go further to win than that Karn ever would
>>
>>5586713
Yeah, no real point in fighting if you have nothing to fight for.
Even Jiren had to come up with some contrivance to justify his lifestyle to himself. Granted, it was a vague and weak reason, but a reason nonetheless.
On that note, I hope Karn learns the Sith method of verbal combat in the next few years. Jiren would almost certainly fall for it.
>>
>>5586729
Jiren's reason to fight was literally "I cope therefore I am"
>>
>>5586729
Found it. It's apparently called "Dun Möch" and Bane was definitely proficient in it.
>>5586733
Well he certainly seethed enough by the end to confirm that notion.
>>
>>5586736
Is Dun Moch just Force Shittalking?
>>
>>5586608
>>5586713
That is a given, seeing how the T.O.P. is a team based event. Only reason that U7 struggled so hard was because it was the Goku & Vegeta show ft. Lord Frieza, and they got the W because A17 was just there when all the bigboys took Jiren out with them.

The way I see it, in order to succeed in the tourney you have to have the most stamina and more importantly the most strength and coordination per member. For example, U9 was not just D-list fodder but most came from different shitholes fighting eachother and themselves, which is why they got so disrespectfully BTFO first minute. It would've been a clean W for U11 if Jiren was a team player too.

Its all about the guts and synergy baybee, thats why our team is looking so stacked!!
>>
>>5586770
As far as I can tell, Dun Möch is a broader principal. Talking shit to distract and opponent or erode their will is only one application of it. I'm fairly certain any type of psychological warfare and manipulation falls under Dun Möch.
>>5586814
On that note, were totally reserving 5 spots for the Ginyu Force, right? They're all decently powerful and hyper coordinated, so it's kind of a given that they'd wreck shop. Also there's Buu's body, which is a massive advantage in and of itself.
After that, Karn, Meloka, and Frieza are definitely competing, leaving two spots up for grabs...
I'm thinking Chilli (magical expertise is a must at this point) and a toss-up between Broly or Ubo (plan C powerhouse and defender of squishies)
>>
>>5586854
Why not Caulifla instead of Chilli? She's probably more useful in direct healing than he is, plus she can fulfill a beefcake role.
>>
>>5586862
Buu and anybody who learned Spirit Control on Yardrat can act as an off-healer just fine. I also don't want one of our kids jumping into something like the ToP so young.
>>
>>5586875
Meant to say "Ginyu", not "Buu", but you get what I mean.
>>
>>5586854
Its only 10 fighters per universe right? The ginyu force are an excellent choice of fighters. Their power? Mighty. Their teamwork? Immaculate. Their poses? Flawless. Having all 5 has them at their best performance, but they are still capable in smaller groups or solo.

With Karn as a locked in slot (because the only way he's not participating is if he's super duper dead) theres 9 porential teammates, and just 4 if we have every GF member. What we need to proritize and plan for is the maximum amount of power, technique and synergy a team of 10 can have for the big day. There needs to be as much trust and faith between each fighter as much as how hard they can throw a punch.
>>
>>5586729
He wanted the wish, which is reason enough for most.
Karn is very skilled at demoralizing opponents, especially with prolonged exposure. See Boi.
>>5586733
Cope, mald, and seethe.
>>5586736
One of the reasons Bane liked Chaya. She's great at pinpointing such weaknesses in foes. Remember, she was a professional gladiator. A solid third of fight lead up was promos smack talking.
>>5586770
Essentially? Yes. Break their mental to destroy them physically.
>>5586814
There was a lot to be desired from the canon ToP. Something I hope we can fix.
>>5586854
You could. But despite their synergy, they MAY not have the power to compete. After all, Universe 11's non-Jiren members have excellent teamwork, and look where it got HALF of them before Goku and Jiren's first fight. Teamwork is important, but so are a lot of other factors.
>>5586862
They both have different strengths. Although Chilli is a more broad counter to a wider range of foes, Caulifla does have Triumph on top of her two other main healing methods.
>>5586875
That doesn't compare. Triumph can heal a severed limb, provided you still have it there. As she did for Karn years ago in Towa's realm after Chilli learned to throw Discs.
>>5586903
Yes ten. And while the Ginyu Force are great, by the time the tournament rolls around we'll have people in the levels of Gods and maybe beyond. I just can't see Jeice, Burter, and Recoome reaching that level.
>>
>>5586919
Also SOON
>>
>>5586919
>Essentially? Yes. Break their mental to destroy them physically.
So that endgame boss fight in KTOR 2 with Ash Simpster?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 191 Epilogue II-

AGE 755, TANYA'S HOMEWORLD

“Dammit!” you snarl, narrowly avoiding a spray of automatic fire by dropping to the ground, landing flat on your stomach while sighting the robotic warrior in, pulling the trigger and cutting it down with a short burst of fire from your Lancer assault rifle. Oil sprays from the machine's head as it drops, falling backwards lifelessly. Activating your thrusters in your heels you blast forward along the ground, narrowly dodging an artillery shell dropping down where you'd been. “SHIT!”

Your magical barrier tanks the explosion, keeping you safe from harm, but the force of the blast sends you tumbling tail over teakettle across the war-scarred ground. Rolling over several times you end the shield, again activating your heel thrusters and blasting straight up into the air. But as you do, several snipers all get clear shots and take them. Forcing you to dodge back and forth, narrowly avoiding the dangerous, high-speed beams.

“Shit! It just doesn't stop!” you mutter to yourself, dropping the near-empty magazine from your rifle and jamming another in before sighting in the nearest soldiers, unleashing a burst of fire before shouting to Major Serebryakov. “How much longer?!”
“You still have ninety seconds to go, General.” she replies, your magical shield stopping a direct impact tank round, knocking you backwards. You flip backwards twice before reorienting yourself, muttering “Armor Piercing Explosive Shell” to activate the magic before firing a single shot. It pierces through the tank's hull, exploding in a fiery blast as you turn your attention back to the downed craft. Only to see more than a dozen soldiers are already almost to it. “Should I call the-?”

“Oh no you don't!” you roar, rocketing to the ground while revving your gun's chainsaw bayonet. You blitz towards the one closest to the ship's opening, swinging your glowing, high-speed blade through the back of its head. You land in a spin, pulling the weapon to your shoulder and firing a half dozen quick bursts, cutting them all down. You then aim skywards towards the audible whistling, shooting down several artillery shells aimed too close to the ship you're protecting. You shoot them all down, only to take a rocket propelled grenade straight to the shield. Sending you tumbling over the ship and across the war-scarred ground once more. “Dammit!!”
>>
>>5586966
You are Tanya Degurechaff, Champion of Dreadzone, General of Vox's military forces, and the one who managed to wrestle a so-called god's power away from it. However, even with all that power at your disposal, you're still on the back foot. You may have taken the very might of one of this universe's divine beings, but even this insane level of doesn't seem to be enough. You're not even five minutes into the first challenge, and already feel pushed to your limits. And as you reorient yourself again, kicking off the ground and flying straight into the air, you once more realize the gap between yourself and Chaya. The Saiyan warrior, once again coming for you.

“She wouldn't be having this much trouble.” you mutter as your rifle runs empty, but you don't have time to reload. Instead you sling it over your shoulder, the magnetized pack pulling and securing the rifle to your back as you draw your dual burst fire pistols. Each pull of a trigger fires three energy shots towards the approaching soldiers, some dressed as your elites and others more resembling those damn Communists from the Russy Federation.

“General, on your right!” Major Serebryakov shouts in your ear, you turning just in time to see several tanks have all lined up and fire all at once. You drop down to the ground, flying under the dozens of shells fired at your head while returning fire with your own armor piercing explosive rounds. But no sooner have you destroyed those tanks than artillery rounds again drop on your location, forcing you to evade them from overhead while also dodging as many shots from the regular soldiers as well. And despite your best efforts to stay one step ahead, you aren't making enough progress. You wish you'd brought a more area-of-effect weapon along, but you'd underestimated the challenge you'd created. “They're almost to the downed ship!”

“Dammit!” you snarl, whirling around with both guns pointed, firing twin bursts from the pistols to cut down three robot soldiers too close to the downed craft, only for both pistols to also click on empty. And that's when you feel it, you're going to fail the trial.
“You're asking quite a bit of me here General.” Gleeman Vox had told you the day you'd proposed your champion trail to him. “That's a massive investment for a single event.”
“Were it any normal event, I'd advocate against such an expenditure. But you already know that.” you reply easily, having already rehearsed your arguments for several hours after fully designing it that day seven months ago. “However, this one's different.”
“Because you're afraid you're going to lose?” he asks, the verbal barb stinging a bit. Mainly because it's true.
“That's not all. This is going to be big.” you had told him while setting your folder on his desk. “This will be the biggest event Dreadzone's had since the Siege of New Salda.”
>>
File: Vox.jpg (134 KB, 1144x750)

>>5586969
“Oh? A bold claim. But how do you know that?” he'd asked, you opening your folder and going through the data. Showing how many screens had the war going while it was live, and for months afterwards. How not a single other Dreadzone event EVER managed to reach that level again. Then how the numbers for your own fight for the title of Champion didn't compare to her own against Ace Hardlight. But after the fight so many people viewed it, hearing that she'd somehow been defeated and her title taken. After which came the discourse, many claiming you'd cheated and not won 'fairly', as she'd been the one to undertake the challenge instead of you before fighting her. And Dreadzone's audience had become divided.

“This division is exactly why this fight will make money.” you'd continued, showing him through the data of her streams vs other streams, and even other fights that a solid SIXTY FOUR PERCENT of her stream audience doesn't even watch Dreadzone content without her or at least the Saiyans in general in it. And while a solid eighteen percent of your own audience doesn't watch her, you can't deny that her own audience isn't much larger than your own. “Putting both of us back on the same stage will gather all of the fans back together, everyone watching a single event to see how it plays out.”

“An interesting proposal. But what happens after that?” he asked seriously, steepling his fingers together before him. “Should you win, her fans will remain convinced the game's rigged and still only watch her. Or if she abandons Dreadzone for good, crying about how unfair it is, we may lose them forever.”
“On the contrary, I think they'll come back into the fold.” you'd told him, Vox visibly perking up at this. “Watching Chaya compete, battling in the greatest event many of them will have ever seen live, that will set the hook. We'll get them back addicted to the spectacle of fights that can only be found here, engaging them and making them crave more.”

“A fine line you're choosing to walk with this plan.” he'd then said, stroking his chin in thought. “On one hand, the grander the spectacle the more viewership we'll obviously have. On the other, the more one-sided and targeted towards her it appears, the less chance there is that she and her fans don't come back. Getting that one-time boost won't mean anything if it damages the brand. Even losing a fifth of her audience would be devastating to the long-term prospects. So, here's what I'll do. You'll get your hellscape, the warzone of your youth. But before we bring her in, YOU are going to run through it first.”

“Eh?” you'd asked, caught by complete surprise at this declaration. To which the fishman grins, rubbing his hands together.
“You're going to be the one to test if this course is even winnable first. And if even you, the Dreadzone Champion cannot best the course, then I won't allow you to use it to avoid fighting.” he says, a dangerous, hungry gleam in his eye. “I already let you skate by with having the Red Knight fight Chaya instead of you, you're not getting any more free passes.”

“Damned shark.” you mumble to yourself, holstering them both and drawing your Lancer back out, revving the chainsaw bayonet and charging forward once more. Tapping into the full might of your Perfected Elenium Network system, courtesy of the mad Dr. Schugel, you blink towards the machine that's nearly entering the downed dropship. Almost before you can process it yourself you've closed the distance, swinging the rapidly-spinning teeth through the machine, bisecting it while landing in a slide. Using the momentum you whirl around to face the rest only to see that they all have weapons trained on you. There's no way out, you're not going to get them all in time. But then, once more, time stops.

“Quite the predicament you've gotten yourself into.” Being X comments, you not lowering your guard to find which face he's talking through. Instead you take this welcome reprieve to reload your rifle.
“You may be coming to gloat about it, but I do appreciate the moment to reload.” you say sourly, slamming the new magazine in. “So, let's have it. What mockery have you got for me this time?”

“A single moment's reprieve won't win you this fight.” Being X says as you return your rifle to your shoulder, taking both pistols out and reloading them one at a time as well. “You need more.”
“I'm well aware.” you reply flatly, keeping your inner hope from showing. If he shows you how to better use this power, perhaps it will be enough to turn the tide.
“No, you are not.” Being X replies, the soldier in front of you pointing up behind your left shoulder. Cautiously you turn, only to see the massive, upgraded body of the former Exterminator Shellshock dropping towards you amidst a hail of artillery fire.
“What the hell?! I didn't ask for HIM to be included in this fight!” you snarl, snapping the magazine into your last pistol. “Vox, that bastard!”

“The problem is you're still thinking like a mortal, not like a deity.” Being X continues, now pointing towards your weapons. “Starting with those.”
“What do you mean?” you ask, firing a couple bursts towards the descending, massive machine. The energy shots freeze in midair, hanging suspended along with all the other fire coming in from all sides. “They work just fine.”
“These mortal weapons are too limiting. Weakening you, keeping you from unleashing what my power is truly capable of.”

“Then why don't you teach me?” you fire back, turning around towards that same machine. “Instead of speaking in vague riddles, just tell me how to use this.”
“I already have. You have to BELIEVE in this power for it to function.” Being X tells you. Then, during the several seconds long silence that follows adds in. “When your magazine runs empty again, keep firing. Believe that you have more ammunition, and it will be so.”
“Believe? Hah! That's the most absurd thing you've said yet!” you declare. “Wishes and prayers haven't ever fixed anyone's problems.”
“Not for mortals.” Being X retorts, you seeing the bullets and lasers hanging suspended in the air slowly beginning to inch forward, time slowly resuming. “But neither of us are one of those. Not anymore.”

Then time resumes, you having taken the moment of time slowly returning to normal to start firing, pulling the triggers of both pistols and firing bursts from each. All six shots take the one Being X had been talking through square on, destroying the machine and dropping it instantly. You fire a half-dozen more bursts from each gun before turning, just in time for Shellshock to crash land between you and the dropship while artillery rains down around you both.

“Waaah haaa haaaah! You had a great idea for this battlefield, little one!” Shellshock calls out, sounding quite jovial for the hell you both are standing in. “Now, let's do this!”
“Bring it!” you shout, kicking off the ground and leveling both pistols at his head, firing a quick triple burst from the pistols. Which he raises his left arm to guard, the shots sinking into his metal hide but not piercing through. At the same time he draws his much more massive 'hand'gun, the barrel bigger around than you are tall, and starts blasting. “Shit!”

You dash back and forth, dodging the gigantic energy blasts while firing back with your comically smaller pistols. Your shots seemingly have no effect, you holstering them both and taking your energy rifle off your back. Flying up and over another tremendous blast, you sight his head in and pull the trigger. Only to realize that, despite having that moment of stopped time, you'd forgotten to reload your beam rifle!

“DAMMIT!” you snarl, dashing to your left to avoid another shot. As you do, you see Shellshock firing his shoulder-mounted mortars. No doubt setting you up to get cut off with his next shot.
“You have to believe.” Being X's voice whispers in your ear. “Have faith in this power. Why else would you have gone through all the effort to steal it from me, just not to use it?”

Which, to be fair, stumps you for a second. Why else would you have stolen the power of a self-proclaimed divine being, if not to use it? So you exhale, once again raising the rifle as Shellshock sights you in as well. It's now or never.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8Z3JvAb6LA

“I pray for the sinners, that they may repent their wicked ways.” you say, focusing all of your golden power into the rifle. Lights like the Aurora Borealis light up along your rifle's length, exploding out of it like spectral flames as you pour more and more energy into the weapon. You channel so much magic into it that the weapon begins trembling in your hands, forcing you to tighten your grip and brace it better against your shoulder to avoid it jumping around. “That they will return to me, and worship at my feet. Lest they be crushed beneath my heel.”

“Say goodbye, little one!” Shellshock shouts, firing another titanic energy shot towards you. You let your body move with practiced precision, reaching up with your right hand and racking the slide before returning your hand to the grip, pulling the trigger. And everything goes white. It takes your eyes a second to adjust, but when they do you see that your weapon has indeed fired. And not just its normal crimson beam, but one of brilliant, blinding gold. The beam shoots straight through Shellshock's shot, blasting his weapon and arm to scrap as well. Then with a thought you turn your rifle, the beam turning with it as you then bisect the giant fighting robot before releasing the trigger. The world dims as what sounds almost like church bells ringing in your ears fades with the light.

And you feel a wide grin coming to your face, unable to suppress the joy you suddenly feel rising up from deep within. This is it, THIS is exactly what you needed! With this power, with this arena and setup, you're going to beat Chaya once more! There's no way she's going to stop you once you've mastered this power!

Okay I have a stupid fucking idea as to how we can include the entirety of the Ginyu Force and ignore their relative power levels.
What if Ginyu just absorbed them right before the ToP and released them right after? Does he even know he can do that?
>>
>>5586990
Ha
>>5586998
As cool as having the whole team there would be, in a fight for your very existence you'd want the absolute best of the best.
>>5587081
That would get Ginyu destroyed, IF the Grand Priest couldn't sense them within him and tell Ginyu that, if they exit his body, they'll be erased instantly.
No, he has no idea.
>>
>>5587081
No for 3 reasons
>1. Its disgusting
>2. The refs would cry foul and we most likely wouldn't be in Zeno's good graces to get away with cheating
>3. We murked Buu before he could even start absorbing anybody (and thank goodness for that) so that's OOC information
>>
>>5587107
I don't mean we just dump them out onto the field, I mean we compromise and have the Ginyu Force act as single entity via Buu's body.
>>

>Ginyu finds out
>Ginyu Force go full Sentai Gatai by fusing with the Captain
That...sounds like so much bullshit.
>>
>>5587108
Yes, would be OOC knowledge.
>>5587136
They wouldn't have any control, however Ginyu would have access to all of their powers and abilities. ALL of them. Interesting thought.
>>5587149
She's afraid
It's a small part of a much grander piece.
We'll see how Chaya handles her, if she wins.
>>5587151
Would make a far more powerful Ginyu.

>Spoiler
Chaya will notice this, I wonder if Tanya will crack during the fight and be brutally honest without it being misunderstood.

it does have precedent with both of U6's namekian absorbing many others right before the tournament. their is also piccolo who is a permant fusion of piccolo, kami, and nail

>3. We murked Buu before he could even start absorbing anybody (and thank goodness for that) so that's OOC information
Cold is definitely aware of Buu's ability to absorb people since he was there the last time he went on a rampage.
>>
>>5587247
The Namekian situation is slightly different, as they can’t actually split back into who they were without the dragon balls or someone with Spirit Control’s Forced Spirit Fission. Which Buu’s body is actually immune to.
>>5587265
Cold is aware Buu could destroy planets, but never actually SAW him absorb anyone. Cold survived Buu by never actually fighting him face-to-face before Namek. And the Kais being absorbed wasn’t recorded and only seen by Shin. Who assumed the GSK used his influence to moderate Buu best he could.
