Ok guys, here's an out of character comment if QM allows.
Substance seems to be what we usually call constitution, maybe dominion over size? It's clearly our HP.
Shape would be Strength/Agility : how we can use the body the most.
Depth seems to be intelligence. It might have something to do with vocabulary used by QM and more descritption in updates, but have never come up for now.
Definition seems to be perception/instincts.
So here's my proposal to you.
1/Go deeper, find some food, satiate.
2/Inquire about how to decrease satiation need. Either we can rise the cap of Satiation using Sub, or maybe get a Trait or Talent to enhance metabolism with levels somehow?

Zone 1 is starting location which is... the beginning of a dungeon?
Zone 2 is the dark of the entrance to this dungeon or something...
