You reach the destroyed middle of the ship. Many sections are destroyed and exposed to outer space. A large explosion must of wrought this damage. The bodies of the dead Republic soldiers start appearing. Many slain by the explosion, but as you find an intact walkable path you encounter corpses slain by blunt weapons. Soon enough you reach the crew quarters.
The area is strewn with the bodies that look very much like Sith. Red eyed metal masks, dark grey uniforms and armed with Force Pikes. "Never seen Sith like these before..." you wonder.
"They are Jedi Hunters" explains Kreia, "Sith assassins from the days of Darth Revan."

"Well I don't see Tane's carcass anywhere, he must of beaten them." you shrug.
"Don't be foolish. Jedi Hunters needn't kill their prey. It is a far greater prize to capture a Jedi, to see them fall to the dark side." Kreia lectures back.
"uh huh" you mutter, scanning the room for anything lootable. Suddenly you spy something in a medical bay up ahead.
A Dark Jedi floats unconcious in a healing Kolto tank, the vitals monitor indicate she's alive and almost fully restored.
"Be wary" Kreia warns, "This one is strong in the force."
You scoff silently. As if an unarmed, unaware enemy could defeat you.

Though it would probably be safer to simply kill a dangerous psycho armed with the dark side of The Force. She may be able to lead you to Jado Tane. She can answer your questions when she wakes, but first...
You place your hand on the glass and reach out through your mind and try to access the sith's memories. Her mental defences are trained, and resist your intrusion even in her unconscious state.

Inside her mind the most salient recent memories start to appear.
You see a memory of the Sith assassins infiltrating the ship before its voyage even began. The ship was being prepared for launch in a great docking bay, with a brilliant blue ocean and crashing waves on the horizon. With the power of the force they turned invisible and crept aboard.

The next memory is of this Sith waiting impatiently for the right moment to attack. Hiding halfway up a wall in a storage bay cramped on top of a stack of storage cylinders for a long time. Her feelings of restlessness and eagerness to attack echo strongly in the memory.

Then the battle. A tremendous explosion roaring out through the ship. She felt the force of the blast in the pit of her chest. The assassins ruthlessly attacked the startled Republic soldiers from the shadows. She notably wields a double bladed lightsaber and force powers while the minions are armed with mere force pikes.

Many days later Jado Tane appears. She viciously ambushes him with several other Sith Assassins in the crew quarters. The Jedi Sentinel fought back fiercely and managed to seriously injure her with a critical strike from his lightsaber. Distraught she abandoned the fight and flees to the Kolto tank. Crawling in with the last of her strength. She did not witness the end of Tane's battle with the other assassins.

Deeper memories are unreachable to you. The location of the assassins' lair, their leaders, their numbers are there but you can't touch them.
The sith starts moving slightly, almost awake. Looks like you've done all you can. You go to the medical terminal and deactivate the kolto tank, without medical intervention the healing must of taken a long time. The fluid drains, while the terminal loudly beeps. Groggily she crawls out of the tank.

Her eyes open, shocked to see your lightsaber at her neck. She casts her gaze up at her captor.
"You will answer my questions." You demand.
"Spare me your empty threats fool!" she sneers,"Jedi cowardice forbids the killing of prisoners."
[3 votes to euthanise her] "I don't hesitate to kill when necessary." you retort. She stops and looks at you all over, her gaze a mix of anger and fear, she can feel your words are true. You continue, "If you ever want to escape this shipwreck you'll cooperate."
She sighs "What do you want from me Jedi?".
"The Jedi you fought, with the yellow lightsaber, what happened to him?"
"That weakling? He's probably been killed or captured by now." she shrugs.
"Where did they take him?" you ask.
"If he survived, back to the Sith academy on Korriban. To be turned to the Dark Side."
That doesn't sound right, you turn your gaze Kreia, she resoundingly shakes her head.
"You liar! You guys obviously aren't from Korriban. Don't try to fool me again."
"Hmmph, you're smarter than you look. He was probably taken to our base in Manaan."
That makes more sense, the pirates' data said this voyage began at ocean planet Manaan, and the memories you saw showed the assassins boarding the ship on an ocean world. Being a neutral planet both Republic and Sith personnel reside there.
"Where can I find this secret base?" you ask.
She sniggers "It's underwater! How would you ever know my directions are real? Take me prisoner, rescue me from this graveyard and I'll take you to them."

Ahh back on the Ebon Hawk. You now know where Jado Tane's gone to (or been taken to) Manaan. And according to your records the whole planet only has one surface side city. No doubt you'll find Tane in a no time. You check all your systems, the Hawk is ready for flight and those nerf herding pirates have taken off which should leave the Sith girl stranded here. Ok so, my main problem is that we saw THREE henchmen in her vision. On the ship we found THREE bodys + he DEFEATED the sith. So who is left to capture the padawan?

Also, was it ever actually explained what caused the ship to be destroyed? If there are other assasins off screen and the assassin's won, why did they leave their comrade and SUPERIOR OFFICER behind? What was the rush? If some hot blood wanted to use this opportunity to advance himself why wouldn't he have killed her instead of leaving her to heal in a tube? What happened to her saber?

I tell you my friends none of this adds up.

Kreia remains waiting on the ship while you go out to take care of unfinished business with T3M4. You sift through the remains of the destroyed Republic battledroids.
Initially it seemed you might be able to salvage them after the fight, but the destruction of being torn apart by a vibroblade ruined most of their components. You return some of the less ruined parts to the droid repair bay and salvage what you can.
[Repair] with T3's help you manage to salvage 1d4 repair parts.

This droid is surprisingly high end. It's certainly not a mass produced model, someone fairly wealthy must of comissioned him. You're a decent tech, and could probably design all sorts of modifications and upgrades for T3M4. Something you could spend time on while the Ebon Hawk is in transit.

As for special weapons like the Flamethrower, T3 can have any 2 equipped at a time. Not to mention his two slots for integrating standard Blaster Pistols and slot for an energy shield. You could buy that sort of stuff from a droid shop, or loot it from enemies heh heh.

You could make a Stun Baton at the Work Bench on board the Ebon Hawk, but those things don't cost much. Easier just to buy one.

You look around the empty halls. Nothing but the quiet thrumming of machines and the quiet metal corridors.

After a last minute check for any stowaways you take off. Destination: Manaan. The stars turn into lines and the Ebon Hawk jumps into hyperspace. The journey will give you some time to draw up some schematics for T3.
With enough time and the right components you could probably create a formidable upgrade for the droid. A perfect project to work on during the intermittent space travel for your mission. Seated at the workbench you tap your finger on the datapad thoughtfully. What kind of upgrade should you design for T3M4?

Assault droids have spherical energy shields. Way stronger than the personal shields you can wear on your arm. If you could modify T3M4 to have one he could tank a ton of damage from blasters (or lightsabers)
After some drafting you figure you'll need. Most of the tools/components are standard and not worth mentioning, but there are 3 uncommon things you need to complete this project:
-Droid Dura Capacitor
-Superior Energy Cell
-a Tech Specialist to perform the installation
"Bee dee dweet bee deet?" T3 dialups at you.
"Just drawing up some design data for you little droid." you state, "Upgrades. You'll love it."
"Dwoo?" it chimes inquisitively.

The Hawk enters the blue planet's orbit and you return to the cockpit to complete the landing. Out the window Ahto city looks like a collosal gray seashell rising from the brilliant azure ocean. You may require a submersible if you're to locate the the assassins' supposed underwater lair. Jado's ship was absent from the wreck, so it's likely landed here. Being a neutral planet, the Sith army happen to have an embassy here, but they're 'normal' Sith and probably unaffiliated with those weirdo assassins. You can't find anything. Dead end. You've found the ship but there's zero sign of Tane.
"Siths blood. The trails gone cold." you grumble, banging your fist against the ship's hull.
Kreia consoles you "Patience Varlo, you will find him. Think carefully and you may find many doors open to you."

She's right, there are other ways you could continue the search. You could always ask around this area, some people may of seen Jado when he landed here some time ago. You'd need to find some method of translation though. Or you could simply try to think like Jado and guess where he could have gone. You know his goal was to find the undersea Sith Base after all, maybe he already found it. In that case you could just try to find the base.

well, we know that its hidden underwater from the sith we interrogated back on the ship.

> Being a neutral planet, the Sith army happen to have an embassy here, but they're 'normal' Sith and probably unaffiliated with those weirdo assassins.

If this is true, then these "outsider sith" would probably be hiding from the "mainstream" sith too, so it adds credibility to that information.

If Tane came here searching for that base, he may know its underwater. So he would probably look for a craft that can go underwater. Ergo, we should check around places that rent these kind of ships. Its a shot in the dark but its a decent guess as any I think.

LASTLY, we should sent a message to our master about where we are at, and what we found. Just in case we are taken prisoner.

To find Tane you need to THINK like Tane. With the understanding that he was looking for an underwater base you start visiting places where you could charter a submersible. Soon enough you find people who met Jado.
"Yes the jedi came here looking for a submarine", "He was here over a week ago but left", "I couldn't help him, so I directed him there" and so on. Most individuals only met him briefly but over time you start to interpolate a good idea of where he went from lots of little bits of info.

To connect the bits of information and find the way to Tane. You must solve the ULTIMATE PUZZLE. Pic rel.

Rules:
You must find a sequence that visits every node on the graph at least once.
Moving from one node to another has a cost (the number between the two nodes)
eg: the sequence J->D->O->A->N->E->T has total cost of 9+1+3+2+3+5=23
You must find a sequence of nodes with a cost of 17 or less.
You can start from any node.

Nice.
(Your Awareness skill has permanently increased)

With some persistence the trail eventually takes you to a science facility. And quickly you find a scientist with useful information.
The Twi'lek hesitates at first but eventually answers "Yes, the jedi had been helping us for a while now."
"Excellent! Where is he then?" you ask excitedly.
"He hasn't returned from his last trip. He was looking for some bad people. We allowed him use of our submarine to search the many abandoned harvesting facilities on the ocean floor. I fear he may of found them." she explains with a worried look.
"I'm a Jedi too. I think I may be able to help. But I'll need Jado's location and a submarine."
"You'll help!? What a relief. He took our only sub, but I can give you the location of the last station he visited." she hands you a datapad.
This datapad has the location of a decommissioned kolto harvesting facility. Now all you need is a way to reach the ocean floor.
She scratches the back of her head and averts her eyes "You'll have to find a submersible on your own. Sorry."

>[Persuade] "Maybe we could pool our credits to charter a sub?"
>"I think I could 'persuade' the Republic embassy to loan me one."
>"Don't worry, I'm sure I can 'acquire' (steal) one"
>"I'll just charter one, I can just send the bill to my father heh heh."

Probably best to call the Republic for help, you announce "I think I could persuade the Republic embassy to loan me one."
The scientist nods, "Sounds like a good idea. Please do hurry sir Jedi. I'd feel awful if something happened to Jado."
"Don't worry miss, I'll bring him back in one piece." you reassure her. Soon after you make your way to the Republic embassy.

The official representative at the embassy is amicable. You describe your need to infiltrate a Sith base and find Jado and state your request for a submarine.
He contemplates for a while then makes his proposition "I think I might be able to help you, jedi. Kolto supplies aren't in such extreme demand now that the war is all but over and the Sith are on the run. So I could spare use of our sub for one expedition. BUT I want you to bring back evidence of the illegal Sith base. With that we may even have the Sith kicked off this world for good."
"No problem, T3M4 can record what he sees." you reply as the droid bleeps and deets affirmatively.
"Then we have a deal, this mission sounds dangerous. Is there anything we could do to boltser you?

Meds in case our Jedi friend is injured or tortured.
>>
"How about some meds?" you ask.
"Okay, we'll stock the ship with some medical supplies."
You gain 3 Life Support Packs
"We'll prep the sub for departure right away." He states and with that: The Republic troops waste no time in preparing the submersible for departure.

The submarine you find, is easy to control. You glide through the sea observing Manaan's fantastic ocean life through the cockpit. After two hours of deep blue, you reach your destination. An industrial harvesting facility embedded into the ocean floor. You manoevre your craft under the docking bay and pull the lever labelled RISE...

Not a moment after you set foot on solid ground the bay door opens and 3 figures walk in.
Two sith assassins and between them another dark padawan, like the one you encountered on the ship wreck.
"Greetings Jedi. My master has been expecting you.", he activates his lightsaber revealing a brilliant yellow blade.
"That's Tane's saber!" you exclaim.
"Your Jedi friend is a guest of ours. As are you. Throw down your weapons. Lest I destroy you."
These Sith are exerting a strange pressure in the force, or rather a strange 'vacuum'. Much like how a Jedi can use the force to inspire and embolden others they seem to be doing the exact opposite; trying to sap your courage and strength of will. Extremely unusual, but your mental defences are strong enough to resist this.
They look ready to leap into battle in a instant.

>[Persuade/Lie] "I've come to join you."

"No way fag." you reply eloquently.
The Sith's eyes widen. "What!?" he yells, "I will not be mocked by a Jedi weakling! DIE!". He springs to attack you with his subordinates on his heels. In seconds his whirling yellow blade is clashing against your green. He's pretty good with a saber, despite using the pleb Shi-Cho style. You'll need your skill with force powers to get the edge on him.

Your force precognition kicks in and you barely manage to block a savage blow from behind. The dark padawan has resumed his offensive, and is now crackling with dark energy. He's used the dark side of the force to enter some sort of Fury.
He's attacking as fast as you are. And with far greater strength than before. With an Improved Power Attack he brings down a devastating blow. Smashing through your defences.

His tard strength is too powerful! Your block isn't enough to deflect the attack and you take a bad cut to the chest for 24 damage!.
Too bad for him, his minions are dead. Your allies comes to your side and start attacking, he's outnumbered!
T3M4 rolls in to scorch him with its flamer but he evades the jet of fire. Taking only 15 damage.
Kreia makes an unarmed strike on him for 8 damage.
Although he looks badly injured, the Sith ignores the pain and continues swinging like a madman, you doubt you can take another hit from this guy. On the other hand... if you manage to finish him off now there won't BE a next attack.

Very quickly, you inject the life support pack with your offhand. The dermal regenerators immediately get to work reknitting your injured torso healing +50 hp. You still have two more in reserve.
The Sith attacks twice, but you skillfully deflect each blow. (Your defence is quite high, especially with the speed boost.) "Hold. Still!" he growls at you through his teeth.
Kreia, waits for the right moment to attack, then unleashes an unarmed strike for 9 damage.
T3M4 shoots another ribbon of flames at your enemy, again he evades the fire taking half damage (15).
His rentless assault finally stops. Tattered and injured, he knows he can't win, even through his dark rage. His Fury subsides early. He wails "Enough of this! I will fight on YOUR terms no longer!" he uses the Force to give himself a Burst of Speed and starts bolting for the door.

Victory! You puncture his back with your lightsaber, just to make sure he doesn't get up again. "He is already dead, Varlo" chides Kreia.
"Can't be too careful." you remark, retrieving the stolen yellow lightsaber. You hold blade aloft admiring its brilliant yellow, then shut it off.
You walk up to T3M4, "You okay little buddy?" you ask. T3 gives diminuendo "dwoooooo". He's not badly damaged, but his flamer's out of fuel. No problem, you can easily buy more when you reach the surface.
Suddenly a gentle beeping comes from the Sith's remains. A transponder! The device activates on its own.

Silence. After a pause the voice returns. "So. You've failed me again... I will deal with the Jedi myself. A deep sea carrier will be arriving soon. Make sure no trace of us is left behind before we abandon the base. I will deal with you later."
The voice cuts out to static. "What is it?" Kreia asks, as you toss the transponder aside.
"Sounds like the Sith are ditching this base. Makes sense now that someone's found it." you explain, "A ships coming, we should grab Jado before it arrives."

There's no water flooding from the upper vent like the others, maybe it's for air flow or drainage. It certainly looks less durable than the chamber door and is large enough to crawl through.
You ignite your lightsaber and hack away at the grate. Although it's hard to reach, you manage to smash it and a durasteel baffle behind it.
The cold water is up to your ribs now. You calm yourself, close your eyes, and extend your arm splaying your hand at T3M4. With the power of the force you levitate the droid up into the vent. Beeping rapidly in confusion as it lifts into the air.
With most of your weight underwater you easily hoist yourself up after him. With Kreia surmounting it shortly after when the water level reaches the grate.
