With the defeat of Majin Buu and the Remnants at the Battle of Namek, peace has come to the Seventh Universe. With no imminent battles to fight or wars to wage, the Saiyans have enjoyed their first long-term peace since their ancestors first landed on Planet Vegeta all those years ago. Yet this peacetime hasn't slowed the progress of the warrior race known as the Saiyans, whose power have continued to grow day after day. Foremost among this warrior race is the Fateless man known as the “Dragon of New Salda” and the first Super Saiyan to have appeared in a thousand years.

You the players play as this warrior named Karn, a man who has grown from a brawler with a powerlevel less than three thousand to now being the strongest of his kind, wielding the ancient emerald power of the Berserker and father of nearly a dozen children with his wife Meloka. After mastering the Yardratian ability known as Spirit Control, your power has grown beyond all previous limits.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After leaving Planet Yardrat and their Elder Pybara behind, Karn's family went back home to New Salda and he learned of the training world Planet Tatsu, named in honor of his old man. Chaya then defeated her first Exterminator back in Dreadzone, then Chilli and Megumin welcomed their daughter Meloka Wolbach into the world. The next day Koriand'r came fleeing her sister's wrath as the new Tamaranean ruler, having killed her own parents. Karn took her in, telling the emperor and King Cold. Months later another uninvited guest appears, Karn once again flying outside of New Salda's atmosphere to confront them. Only to learn that this guy is an ally of the deity who'd tried to have you and your son Chilli killed! As we rejoin Karn, your rage is boiling while staring down the invader.

“Stay AWAY from my family!” you roar both audibly and telepathically, Energy Body shattering as your energy spikes. Your emerald aura blazes wildly around you, actually knocking the powerful being back. “First that bastard tries to have my son assassinated, now he sends you?! I'LL SLAUGHTER YOU!!”
“Wait, I am not here to-!” he starts but you're not listening, blitzing forward and swinging a heavy right at his jaw. But as you swing, his body becomes translucent, and you fly straight through him. “Fight you. Please, calm down.”
“What the hell?” you mutter, turning back around to face the man. “How did you do that?”

“I can make myself intangible, when threatened.” the green-skinned man replies, holding his open hands out palms towards you. “I do not wish to fight, only to talk to you. And ask you a question.”

With your outburst, you've burned out your air. You have maybe a minute at most before your body starts demanding air. Even less than that, if you keep trying to fight this thing. Yet he doesn't SEEM as if he wants to fight.

What will you do?
>Tell him to follow you, flying down to your friend and Guardian Raven just in case he tries anything
>Tell him to ask his question first and that will decide if you'll listen to the rest of his story
>Instant Transmission with him not to New Salda, but all the way back to Planet Yardrat. Just in case
>Apologize for losing your cool, tell him you'll hear him out and fly back down to the planet

“If you're really here to only talk, then I'm sorry.” you tell him, the green man raising a hairless brow as you power down with a sigh. “As long as you come in peace and don't try and start anything, we can talk down on my planet. But if you try anything, I WILL destroy you.”
“That is a fair arrangement.” he answers simply, following you as you fly back towards your world. Specifically, down towards New Salda's Guardian, Raven. Who you reach out to telepathically as you fly towards her.
“Be on your guard, I might need your help if this guy tries anything.” you think to her. “He's strong, but worse is he's tricky.”

“Understood.” she replies as you fly straight down towards her island. You land softly on the beach by the waves, the green alien landing before you.
“So, you wanted to talk. What do you have to say?” you ask him, the man sighing out as he appears weary.
“I am one of several defenders of a small world out in a remote corner of the universe known as Earth.” he tells you. “A month ago, our greatest defender, Superman, was captured. He was battling an alien being known as Lobo before communications were cut. We believe that this mercenary has taken him.”

“If Lobo's involved, then you're probably out of luck.” you tell him with an apologetic look. “The guy's a right bastard, but as a mercenary he's strong and ruthless. I nearly lost my son to him, would have too if my daughter Cauli hadn't been there to heal him. But I've never heard of him taking someone hostage.”
“If he is a mercenary, then someone must have paid him for this work.” the man says, hand going to his chin. “But why would someone want to take the last son of Krypton?”
“WHAT?!” Raven says, suddenly just appearing beside the two of you. Her gaze affixed on the green man's eyes. “What did you just say?”
“Superman is a survivor of the death of a planet known as Krypton.” J'onn says, Raven and you sharing a look. He clearly sees this, looking back and forth between you to. “You know of this planet?”

“We know more than that.” you say, turning back from him to Raven. “Where's Ubo?”
“He's out now, somewhere in the southern quadrant.” she tells you after a moment, no doubt reaching out to him telepathically. “He was following up a lead on some rumors Arctus had found.”
“I'm sorry to interrupt, but... Do you two know ANOTHER living Kryptonian?” J'onn asks, eyes wide in disbelief.

“His name is Ubo.” Raven tells him, conjuring a translucent image of him beside you three. “His father sent him here to this world before he passed, as a member of a scientific team investigating the Subanese crystals. But when the station was destroyed, Ubo lost his parents and was abandoned here before the Saiyans colonized it.”
“I see.” J'onn says, bringing a hand to his chin. “If Superman yet lives, then he would be overjoyed to meet another of his people. But we must find him first, and the first step would be tracking down Lobo and getting him to talk. If Superman could not best him, then I'm afraid I will not be able to do so alone. Will you help me?”

Well?

“If you'll hold on for a second, I'm gonna need backup for this one.” you tell him, reaching out telepathically to your firstborn son. “Hey Chilli, how're Megumin and my granddaughter doing?”
“We're doing great, just finished eating and Megumin's taking her down for a nap.” he tells you. “How about you?”
“Just had a stranger show up, and am going to help him get his planet's defender back.” you tell him. “Want to come along? We're going to confront Lobo.”
“Hold on.” he tells you, ending the telepathic connection. The green man raises an eyebrow at you, speaking his mind.
“Your son is also a father?” he asks, your own eyes widening in surprise. “Forgive me, I hadn't realized that that was a private conversation.”
“So, you can hear others' telepathic conversations, just like Raven.” you say, his level of threat going up in your mind. But before you can keep going, Chilli reaches back out to you.

“I'm clear, be there in a minute.” he tells you, yet you can tell that there's something he's not telling you. But then he ends the connection before you can ask, leaving you slightly confused. Then beside you crystals start seemingly grow out of the ground. Which catches the alien by surprise, taking a step back. The magical rocks form your son's shape before shattering, revealing him standing there before you. He's in his usual clothes he's adopted since moving to the Crimson Demon Clan's village, hat and all. But that's not what catches your eye. He's carrying the giant sword you'd found and gave him in his right hand, resting on his smaller sword's crossguard where it is strapped to his back. In his left he's holding his staff, . “Sorry for the delay, had to grab my gear. So, who're you?”

“I am J'onn J'onzz, known to the people I protect as the Martian Manhunter.” he says to your son with a nod, then turns back to you. “But how do you intend to find Lobo? The universe is a rather wide place.”
“I have a shortcut.” you say, raising your right hand to your forehead. “Give me a moment.”

As you close out your other senses to focus on only your ki sense, you vaguely hear the Martian asking your son what you're doing and him explaining it. But you don't know where Lobo is, so instead of picking a single direction, you expand your ki sense out in ALL directions. You stretch your senses to their limit, searching for the mercenary. It takes you well over a minute, but then you find him! That's him, that ki is unmistakably Lobo's!

“I found him. Everyone hold on.” you say, opening your eyes and gesturing to the green man and your son. “Be careful, when I teleport to him we'll be within arms reach.”
“You possess teleportation?” he asks you, to which you nod. “Impressive. I am ready.”
“Then hold on.” you say, focusing as both J'onn and Chilli hold onto you. One moment you all are on New Salda, and the next find yourself in a strange place. It seems to be a lounge of some sort, brick wall on one side and some sort of glass on the others. And there, laying in a reclining seat of some sort is Lobo. He's got a pair of two blue women holding on to him, yet neither of them possess any sort of ki whatsoever.

“Let me get us somethin' to-” he says, sitting up. But freezes when he sees you three standing before him. “Oh, hey man. You want a turn? These chicks are crazy.”
“Superman!” the green man shouts, you turning towards his voice only to see him phase through the clear panels, appearing beside a man in a blue suit with a red cape, the material clearly similar to your own battle suit's under layer. “You're alive!”
“J'onn? How did you get here?” the man with the “S” on his chest asks, this must be Superman. But with how little power he's got, there's no way he's a Kryptonian. Unless this place is somehow powering him down, reducing his strength so he can't break free?

“At at aaat, friends aren't allowed Lobi.” the blue woman on his right says, the two rising and walking towards you and your son as their heads start opening, your every instinct telling you that you don't want to be here for whatever it is as something begins emerging from their necks.

Seeing that, you immediately leap into action. Both you and Chilli power up into your emerald and golden Ascended forms, auras blazing. Gathering your ki into your right hand, you swipe it from left to right while firing a Death Slash at the trio. The two blue women don't react aside from their heads continuing to open, some sort of nozzles exposed to the air as Lobo shouts in shock.

“Oh frag!” he exclaims, the scything energy slicing the two blue women clean in half before the blade takes him in the neck, decapitating the mercenary. His head falls to the ground and rolls over, stopping on his stump of a neck. “Now what'dja do tha-?”
“Crystal Magic: Crystallize!” your son Chilli shouts, slapping his right-hand down palm-first on the ground. Crystals sprout from his hand, quickly spreading from him and covering the broken mechanical bodies. Then his magic keeps growing, covering Lobo's body and head, sealing the wounds and trapping him within the crystals. “Not so tough now, are you?”

But to both of your surprise, he stabs his tongue through his crystals. Forming a hole and allowing him to speak clearly.

“I deserved that one. But'cha gotta help me.” Lobo suddenly says, stopping both you and Chilli in your tracks. Is he BEGGING you now? “That back-stabbing double-crossing bastich betrayed me, trapping me in here in his little zoo when I brought that boy scout over there in for 'im.”
“Then here you can stay in here forever, and rot.” your son says, picking his giant sword back up from where he dropped it and resting it back on his shoulder. “Be glad I don't end your miserable existence right here and now.
“You can't do this to me! You can't leave me here!” Lobo roars, his body struggling a moment before shattering the crystals binding it in place as some sort of alarm goes off. He reaches down to his head as Chilli takes a nervous step back, clearly expecting his crystal magic to have held the mercenary immobile.

CRASH

You turn, seeing the green alien having smashed through the glass holding the man under some sort of red light, the two walking out.

“If you leave me behind, I'll make it my life's mission to frag you bastiches, and that worthless planet you call home too!” Lobo snarls, smashing his head free and placing it back on his neck, healing near-instantly. “I'll never stop until you and yer entire race are space dust! It may take me a week, a year, or even a decade. But you have my word, and the Main Man's word is his bond.”

“We should kill him now, before he can cause any more trouble.” Chilli says coldly, the broad sword in his hands glowing with magical energy that makes your skin crawl. It feels unnatural, setting your nerves on edge. “Better to put him down now, before he hurts anyone else.
“Just a moment.” the red-caped Kryptonian says, walking up to the clear wall separating you three and him and the Martian Manhunter. “He may be scum, but isn't killing him in cold blood too...Harsh?”

You, Chilli, and even Lobo all turn and look at him, incredulous. But Lobo recovers first, your instincts suddenly warning you of danger. Leaning back, you narrowly dodge a left aimed at your jaw, his fist sailing harmlessly pass. But you don't miss.

“HRAA!” you snarl, throwing a short left uppercut into his guts. He wheezes as the air is forced out of him, staggering back a few steps when suddenly your son speaks up.
“What is that sound?” he asks, looking around. And then you notice it, a barely-audible hissing noise. But what is it?
“There!” Superman says, you turning to him to see him pointing up. Looking up where he's pointing, you see a greenish gas pouring down into the room from a vent overhead. “Watch out, it is a sedative gas that will knock you unconscious in seconds.”
“Time to go.” you say, ready to get out of this cell.

But what do you do? The heavy gas is dropping fast, you've got only seconds to act

“Alright, I'll give you a truce.” you say, holding your left out to the Czarnian while bringing your right hand to your forehead. “You never attack me and my people again, and I'll get you out of here. But if you betray me, your life is forfeit.”
“Really? Deal!” he shouts in excitement, rushing forward and grabbing your left in his own as Chilli glares at him. You focus on the Martian's ki, teleporting the three of you out of the cell just before the gas reached you. But as you go to let go of his hand, realize something's wrong. You can't!

“Wha-?” you say, looking down only to see Divine Dragon Force has bound both of your hands with its crimson body. “Wait, what?”
“The promise has been made.” your Stand says, turning and looking to him. “The terms have been set and the deal is struck. For his freedom, Lobo of Czarnia will never attack General Karn of the PTO or any of his people ever again. The consequence of breaking this vow: DEATH.”

Its eyes then flash, blinding the both of you for a moment and causing you both to recoil from one another. But your hands release each others, your Stand vanishing in the flash.

“What the frag was that?” Lobo asks you, an accusatory tone in his voice. “Why'd yer little arm lizard make us hold hands like that?”
“Arm lizard?” Superman asks, looking back and forth between you and Lobo, clearly confused. “I feel like I missed something.”
“I did not see any lizard.” the Martian says, sounding just as confused as you are, looking at your right arm curiously. “Perhaps another special power?”
“Enough talking, we gotta move.” Chilli shouts, rushing past you all towards a quartet of floating machines and swinging his sword in a horizontal slash. Magical energy surges forth, the sword's light forming a slashing curved blade that cuts through the air towards them.

“Return to your enclosu-” the machines start projecting, when his blade's energy connects, bisecting the four of them. The four drop to the ground, unmoving while your son turns back to you all. “Which way leads us out of here?”
“Oh no. Once this gas wears off, I'm gonna grind that Preserver into kibble an' feed him to his varmints.”
“We should just get our ships and leave.” Superman counters, which surprises you. Why would a Kryptonian need a space ship? Does he not know his kind can breathe in space?
“If you want to run like a coward that's fine, your little rinky-dink toy rocket is in the south hanger, right where I left it by my hog.” Lobo says, pointing off towards a balcony overlooking what seems to be a jungle. Just how BIG is this place? “The docking bay is just on the other side of that jungle.”

“Why does he have a jungle?” your son asks, looking around at all the captured solitary creatures. “What in the world is this place?”
“It's like a zoo for endangered animals. The Preserver, as the wrinkled frag-sleeve likes to call himself takes species from across the universe on the brink of extinction and adds them to his collection.” Lobo explains, the five of you heading towards that jungle at a brisk yet not running pace. For some reason. “Guy's a nut, but his money was always good. Until the bastich kidnapped me, and for that he's gonna pay!”

“Return to your enclosures, immediately.” the same robotic voices call back, you turning and seeing more than double the earlier drones all flying towards you all. But you're not here to play games, focusing your ki behind your eyes and firing your cutting Eye Beams. With little effort you bisect the swarm of robots, which all collapse into sparking heaps on the ground. Ending your attack you turn back, looking the mercenary up and down.
“Whatever they sedated you with, it clearly suppressed both of your powers.” you say to Lobo and Superman, who both are looking at you as you now lead the way down off the ledge and into the jungle. “Your focus should be on escape, or on a way to restore your powers first.”

“If we had a yellow sun's light, I could restore most of my power within a few seconds.” Superman says, confirming that he is indeed a Kryptonian. “What about you?”
“Unless either of ya's got a way to remove gas from a body, I'm not gonna be a hundred percent for a while.” the Czarnian says, sounding just a touch jealous. “This poison's got me feelin' all lethargic and whatnot.”

Poison? It couldn't be that easy. Could it? Could you actually restore BOTH of their strengths yourself with Hamon? However, before you can ask you sense something moving below you. Then the ground you're standing on collapses, and the five of you start falling.

“Hang on!” you shout, grabbing Lobo and flying back up and out of the hole while J'onn does the same with Superman, your son flying unhindered. You can sense a beast moving down there, something not quite as strong as either of the escapees but could prove a threat in their current states. But as long as it stays down there, it shouldn't be any real threat.

“Stop here, for a moment.” you say, everyone turning to you curiously. “You said the light of a yellow sun, right?”
“Yes, that is the source of my power.” Superman says, raising a brow at you. “What are you planning?”
“I can emit a limited form of a star's light, with a technique called Hamon.” you tell him, then turn to Lobo. “It also has healing properties, allowing me to eject poisons from my own body on at least one occasion. So, in theory I should be able to help you both.
“What do we do?” Superman asks, you turning from him to J'onn and your son.

“But this will take some time to get the breathing right. I need you two to guard us, and ensure no one stops me.”
“Of course.” the Martian says, nodding solemnly.
“I won't let anyone stop you.” Chilli says, swinging his staff's scythe blade down into the ground. Crystals begin spreading from the point of impact, your son shaping them into a dome up and over you and the two escapees, sealing you away.
“Alright, let me focus.” you say, powering back down to your base form as you take a slow, deep breath in. Followed with an even slower exhale, readying your body. You may be a bit out of practice, but you're sure you've got this. It's ti-!

“Hay, how long is this gonna take?” Lobo asks, suddenly breaking your concentration.
“Let him focus.” Superman says, you ignoring them both as you re-focus. Once more you take another deep breath in, sighing out once more as you center yourself. Then as you take your third breath in, you feel it.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9CmmNHMn9eM

“HAMON!” you shout, reaching out and grabbing Superman by the head with both hands. You channel the energy of your breathing into him, the man's eyes widening with surprise as he no doubt feels it. As you finish breathing out you then take another Hamon breath in, then exhale once more and send more of this energy into him. Then you let him go, Superman dropping to a knee and holding his head as you turn to Lobo.
“Heya pal, hold on. Is that shit really sa-?”

“Haaaaaa!” you exhale, grabbing him by the head and channeling your Hamon energy into him as well.
“GAAAAH! FRAG!!” Lobo shouts, slamming his fists down onto your elbows, loosening your grip and stumbling back away from you. He stumbles back into the crystal wall, light green smoke pouring from his lungs as he coughs violently. “Dammit, that shit hurt ya bastich! GAAAH!”

His words devolve into a coughing fit once more, but while he seems in pain, the man called Superman seems to be fine. More than fine, as his strength begins surging.

“What?” you mutter, watching him stand up and seemingly become larger before your eyes. He doesn't get taller or bigger, but his presence just seems bigger. Especially with his strength suddenly surging thanks to the energy you'd given him, his strength rising up to match your un-transformed state.
“Thank you. I don't believe I caught your name.” Superman says, walking forward and offering you his hand. “I'm Superman.”
“Call me Karn.” you reply, shaking his hand as well. But then you hear your son speak to you telepathically, worry in his tone.

“Dad, we might have a problem.” your son thinks to you. “We've got company.”
“Time to go.” you say, walking up to the wall not facing your son and draw your fist back. But then Superman reaches out, placing a hand on yours.
“Please, allow me.” he says, then draws his fist back and swings at the wall. He shatters the entire dome with a single punch. As it falls to pieces, you see a trio of unfamiliar creatures pointing some sort of weapon at the three of you. While a fourth, which looks like the middle creature but smaller sneers from behind its kin's back while the leader of the group addresses your son.

“-ant the Czarnian. The rest of you can go.” the rat-like being says to him. “So just hand him over, or you all're dead too.”
"Hey, that's my bounty you've got there." Lobo tells the rat-like one, pointing a finger accusatorily. "Yer tryin' ta swipe my job out from under me?"

For a moment you consider interfering, these bounty hunters aren't even a threat to your son much less you. But instead, as Lobo steps forward still coughing, you decide this isn't worth stepping forward for. So you watch as Lobo confronts them, not saying anything.

“Well well, if it isn't little Gnaww.” Lobo says cockily, standing much taller than the smaller bounty hunters. “Tryin' to cash in on your own brother's bounty?”
“No way, he came to save me!” the smaller unarmed rodent says, you now realizing that these creatures somehow speak through the eye with a nose and eyes above it, like a second face on their face. Strange. “Tell 'em!”
“I've got a better assignment from Emperor Spooj. I'm now to bring you in, dead or alive.” the one presumably called Gnaww says, leveling his weapon at the Czarnian. “That's the price of being a traitor.”

“Speakin' of price....” Lobo says, looking off to the side suddenly. Which catches your attention, immediately expanding your ki sense as you search for whatever he's hearing or seeing. The other bounty hunters look as well, even your son and the other two aliens all look as well. Which is when the Main Man makes his move, dashing forward and slamming his fist into Gnaww's tiny face on his face.
“Gyaaah!” the small rodent cries out, everyone else's attention returning to Lobo. But the two standing mercenaries are in a terrible spot, the Czarnian punching one with his right hand while kicking back with his left, striking both and sending the other two flying as well. The two other mercenaries who hadn't spoken yet slam into trees, slumping to the ground. Clearly unconscious.

“EEEP!” the smaller rodent says, turning and trying to run. But Lobo simply grabs him in his hand, restraining him. “Help! HELP!!”
“Yer comin' with me, Sqweek.” Lobo tells the little one, standing back up and looking over the three unconscious mercenaries. “C'mon, we've still got a long way to go to the hangar.”
“Not going to finish them off?” you ask, Lobo smirking as Superman frowns at you.
“No need, we're getting between them an their ships.” he replies. “All I gotta do is a little sabotage, an' they're goin' nowhere.”
“You would murder those men?” Superman asks you, brows furrowed.
“They threaten me or my family, their lives are forfeit.” you tell him seriously. “It makes the rest of the universe's morons less likely to try it, which makes my kids safer.”

Superman doesn't seem happy with your answer, but doesn't say anything else as the five of you keep moving. Nothing else accosts you all through the jungle, leaving it behind and entering into a long hallway that feeds into the hangar. Where you all see several different space vehicles, and one which can only be Lobo's.

“Ahh, the ol' hog never looked so good.” Lobo says, running up to it when suddenly an egg-shaped creature flies down, blocking his path. “YEAH! I was hopin' I'd get a piece of you before I left.”
“As much as I dislike taking a personal hand in this matter, you leave me with no choice.” the floating egg man says, pointing back the way you all'd come. “Return to your enclosure at once.”
“And who's gonna make me?” Lobo asks, pointing his thumb at himself cockily. But right as he does, you have a bad feeling about this. The being clenches its fists, face scrunching up as it starts straining. It sounds almost like a humming, the creature starting to vibrate a bit as Lobo takes a step back. The being's powerlevel also rockets up, raising itself by an order of several magnitudes. What in the world is this thing?

And what do you do?

“Enough of this.” you say, pointing a finger at the egg man's face. Then with a thought you fire a single narrow beam of ki, it piercing straight through his head, right between his eyes. But from that single tear his entire body begins ripping and tearing apart and from its outer shell emerges a beast. It is easily several times the egg man, which makes you wonder how it fit inside that shell. But that's all you have time to ponder, as the being then swipes a hand down. Sending Lobo crashing back-first into a wall. Before he can recover it grabs Lobo in one hand like a toy, lifting him into the air and slamming him down hard to the ground, bending the metal hangar floor before lifting him up to eye level.

“How could I think that trash like you was ever worth saving?” the creature asks smugly, clearly thinking the fight over.
“Cause I got a cute smile.” Lobo says, sounding slightly punch-drunk. To the mercenary's credit he then immediately springs back into action, firing a powerful heavy left into the beast's jaw. But it has no effect, the beast throwing him at another wall. Then, wordlessly Superman flies forward, clearly intending to do battle as well. But the creature somehow senses the man's approach from behind, spinning and back handing him and launching him back-first into another of the ships, denting the wing pretty severely.

“Kuh!” he exclaims, falling down on all fours to the ground. The big monster starts stomping towards the downed Kryptonian, J'onn then leaps into action, flying at the monster. Who sees him coming and swings again, but this time his clawed fist hits nothing. Once more the green alien's body becomes intangible, his claws passing through him harmlessly.

“Do you think we should help?” Chilli asks you, watching as the monster swings and flails ineffectively against the Martian. Both Lobo and Superman are coming around, pushing themselves back to their feet while it remains focused on the untouchable J'onn. “That thing isn't that big a threat, we could probably take it down in a few seconds.”

Well?

“I'm sure we could, especially if we went all-out.” you reply as Superman flies around behind the ship he'd been knocked into, lifting it and thrusting it at the red creature like a battering ram. Superman slams it into the far wall, the ship exploding as he then flies back away. You then turn from the fight to look to your son. “How do you want to do this?”

“So, here's what I'm thinking...” he starts, telepathically telling you a rather sneaky plan. One which you like, but also think he hadn't originally designed for this target. Exchanging thoughts telepathically it takes only seconds for the entire plan to be explained, just long enough for the red creature to rise back up and start swinging at Superman. Leaving its back exposed for a flying double-fist punch square into the monster's lower back from the Martian J'onn. Staggering the beast, it whirls around to fight the Martian, only for him to turn intangible while Superman attacks from his back. Which is a good strategy, the two of them could probably wear it down and eventually defeat it. But you don't have all day.

“THAT'S ENOUGH.” you call out loud and clear, everyone freezing in place. Even Lobo, who is mid-storing the rodent in his bike stops what he's doing to turn and look at you. “Everyone stand clear, I'm ending this.”
“The great Dragon of New Salda, Karn.” the red creature says, turning fully to face you and your son hiding behind you. “But why have you come here, freeing my prizes and damaging my property? What is the meaning of this?”
“Lobo may be a bastard, but I'm not going to leave him here to get all weak and soft.” you tell him as Chilli makes his move. Your son is now completely invisible, using the technique he'd created to prove a bet with his wife to move around unseen. The red beast man doesn't notice him, yet somehow you see J'onn following your son's movement with his eyes. So you reach out to him telepathically, not averting your gaze from the monster and giving him a quick. “Don't give him away, stop staring.”

“You may be greatly respected, General Karn. But I will not allow anyone to steal from my collection.” he says, growling angrily and taking a single stomping step forward. But then he stops, looking down at his other foot to see it is bound in crystal to the hangar floor. The moment he does you lunge forward, drawing your right fist back as you summon your Stand. But when you try to, Divine Dragon Force doesn't heed your call. Your Stand doesn't appear!

And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoy the ride? Ready to see how this all goes down and what the rest of Chilli's plan is? Curious why Divine Dragon Force hasn't appeared? All this and more when we continue, just over 11 hours from now at noon EST.

Well fuck. I guess the binding deals puts dragon force on cool down like a wish.

“What?!” you think to yourself, shocked at your Stand's sudden disappearing act. But it's too late to stop now, you just have to keep going without your Stand. However, you telepathically tell Chilli, who adopts his plan on the fly before your punch even connects. You adjust your flight path, instead of aiming for his torso you swing for his face. He turns as he sees you approach from the corner of his eye, just in time for your strike to land cleanly directly on his right eye. “NOW!”
“Combo Magic: Flash Crystallize!” Chilli shouts, you shutting your eyes tight and flying back while shielding your face with both hands the instant he starts speaking. Then, even through your hands and closed eyelids, there is a blinding flash of light. But once its over you lower your hands, seeing the body of the monster trapped within a heavy layer of crystals. “Looks like it worked perfectly.”

“Wait, hold on a moment.” you say, turning to your son with a shocked look no doubt on your face. “Did you make that whole plan up centered around a technique you hadn't even TRIED yet?”
“I've combined Light magic with a few other techniques, to make them basically instantaneous before. Just...not with Crystallize.” he admits a bit sheepishly, you shaking your head at this. “I'd wanted to save it as a surprise, but figured with your Stand here to finish it off while trapped and helpless was the best time.”
“Yeah, I don't know what's going on.” you tell him, looking back down at your right hand. “But when I called my Stand, it didn't come. It must be related to whatever happened when I made that deal.”

“Speakin' of deals, you guys sure fragged that guy good.” Lobo says, walking over from his bike and giving the creature the once over before turning back to you all. “Hold on. Is he still alive in there?”
“Yeah. I'd planned on using my Stand to finish him off.” you say, Lobo actually shivering at the mention of it. No doubt remembering how many of himself died to your Stand's power before. “But when it acted during our deal, it seems to have activated an ability I've not seen before and went dormant again.”
“So what you're sayin' is, is that little lizard can't save you if we throw down again right here and now.” Lobo says, stepping forward menacingly. But then it happens, Divine Dragon Force appears! Not only around your own right hand, but also Lobo's left that had shaken with you when the deal was made. “What the frag?!”

“Do you wish to break the terms of the deal?” your Stand around his left arm asks, but something's off about its voice. It doesn't sound quite right, almost more of a voice recording than an intelligent being speaking to someone else.
“Sorry, but I wasn't finished yet.” your Stand around your own arm tells you, tone and inflection clearly that of your Stand. “I had to finish crafting the Pact Guardian first before I could return to your side.”
“The Pact Guardian?” you ask, looking back over to Lobo. Who's simply in shock that your Stand is bound to him, not even noticing the one on your own arm yet. “That? What does it do?”

“Enforces the rules of the pact.” your Stand replies, very matter-of-factly. “His intentions were to betray the pact and attack you, so the Pact Guardian appeared. If he continues attempting to break the pact, then the simulacrum of me shall enact the consequence.”
“Consequence? What consequence?” Lobo asks with a shout, clearly very annoyed that your Stand has not only reappeared, but also seemingly doubled.
“The Dragon's Pact is clear: Lobo of Czarnia will never attack General Karn of the PTO or any of his people ever again. The consequence of breaking this vow: DEATH.” the copy of your Stand binding his left arm says, the pale being's face going even whiter.

“Wait, so with this power you can enforce the deal, even when I'm not present?” you ask, your Stand nodding once. “Most impressive.”
“That's some fraggin bullshit!” Lobo shouts, clearly angry but even more clearly unable to take his rage out on you. So he turns back to his spacecraft, mounting up then glancing back to the still-immobilized being trapped within your son's crystals. “So, what're we gonna do with him?”

Well?

“That's up to my son.” you say, turning to Chilli. “Had your plan gone as intended he would already be dead, but since it didn't I think you should get to decide.”
“Now hold on. You can't just decide another living being's fate like that.” Superman says, stepping forward with a determined look on his face. “He may be a monster, but he still must face justice for his crimes.”
“You're not from around here, so let me tell you how this works.” you tell the red-caped, self-righteous man. “I am the highest authority around here. Ever since Lord Freeza was declared Emperor of the Universe, he's been in charge. And as his top general, what I say goes. Until and unless he or his family decide differently.”

He doesn't seem to like this answer, taking another step towards you and pointing a finger in your face. However, the moment he does Chilli acts, stepping forward with a green glow around him.

“Stand down, Kryptonian.” Chilli says menacingly, as a green crystal begins forming in his left hand. The light from it immediately weakens Superman, who staggers back a step before dropping to a knee, trying to shield his face from the light with his hand. “That's right, I also know about this weakness too. Now, stay out of this before I surgically implant this crystal in your heart.”
“Kryptonite? But how?” Martian Manhunter asks, looking at your son in horror. “Where did you get such a thing?”
“Get?” No no, I MADE it.” your son tells him, to both the men's surprise. “Ubo found some of this before and asked me to study it to find out why it weakened him like it does you. Turns out that you Kryptonians can't be near the radioactive remains of your own homeworld.”

“That's enough son.” you tell Chilli, who instantly squeezes, crushing and powdering the crystal in his hand. The green glow fades, Superman rubbing his head for a few seconds before rising back up to his feet. He doesn't seem angry, as you'd expected him to be, but looks rather pensive. You turn back to your firstborn son, who's looking expectantly to you. “Now, what about him?”
“Ehhh, I really don't care about what happens to him now. Our job's done.” your son says casually, adjusting the sword on his shoulder. “But I do need to hurry up and get back, Meloka Wolbach will be waking up soon.”
“I'll take you home, save you a bit of magic.” you tell him, laying your left on his shoulder and turning back to the trio of Lobo, Superman, and J'onn. “He's yours to do with as you will, same with this ship and its contents. We're leaving.”

And with that you leave them all behind, reappearing on Chilli's world beside his wife and daughter. Who is now very much awake.

“DAAAAAA!” the young girl exclaims, red-tinged eyes wide as she throws both hands up towards him expectantly. He chuckles and tosses the broad-bladed sword onto the nearby table, reaching down and picking up his daughter.
“Hey there kiddo. Did you behave for Momma?” he asks her, holding her up over his head as she squirms excitedly.
“AAAAHHH!” she shouts, then giggles as he brings her back down. But then her eyes widen, seeing you standing there. “AAAAAAAH! AAAAAH!”
“Do you want to go see Grandpa?” he asks her, little Meloka Wolbach reaching out towards you with both arms expectantly. “Haha alright, go get 'em.”

You gently take her, holding your wide-eyed granddaughter in your arms as Chilli greets his wife, giving her a kiss and asking how things were since he left. But you only have eyes for the small, innocent life before you. She reaches out and grabs at your face, trying to grab onto the scar on your jaw and is confused when she can't get a hold on it. Which makes you laugh, your granddaughter in turn laughing with your laugh. But you've taken up enough of her time, giving her back to her father who clearly wants to hold onto her more before raising your right hand to your forehead.

“Thanks for the help today Chilli, I really appreciate it.” you tell him, your son to stunned to speak before you've traveled back home and settle back into your usual routine. Life goes back to normal, Chilli visiting with his wife and daughter every couple of weeks. But then one day, a month or so after the whole Lobo thing, Chaya stands up after breakfast.
“Tomorrow's the day! The last big fight I gotta win before I get my rematch!” she tells you all excitedly. All I have to do is beat the Red Knight, that self-proclaimed 'Lady of Strategy', then I get my rematch!”
“Oh really?” Megumin asks her, holding onto her daughter as she feeds. “Who is it?”
“She wasn't there before I lost.” your daughter says to her. “She's a woman who wears a suit of blood-red armor and uses all sorts of magic. Was hoping to get you and Chilli to come with me after we ate, to get your opinions on her power before the fight.”

“I don't see why not.” your oldest born son says, sharing a look with his wife and the two of them nod. “Sure thing.”
“Great!” she exclaims, then turns to you. “Are you gonna be there tomorrow to watch?”

“Why not? I'll come along tomorrow to watch.” you tell her, clearly exciting Chaya. You're curious how strong this 'Red Knight' could be if she's actively getting her brother and his wife's advice. “Should be a good one.”
“I wanna go!” Kayle immediately shouts out.
“Me too, me too!” her twin Maz also shouts, you chuckling at them.
“You both can go, as long as you make up any and all training you miss afterwards.” you tell them, both of the younger twins celebrating excitedly. To your surprise Meloka also agrees to go as well, the rest of your children all following along in short order.

With that set, you all go about your day, Chaya taking Megumin, Chilli, and their daughter Meloka Wolback along with her to Dreadzone. No doubt to watch some of Chaya's opponent's fights before tomorrow. You go about your day as normal, training yourself, your children, and your students before nightfall. After the day of training the students you and Meloka let them know that they will have the next day off, as you and your wife will probably be with Chaya for her fight then. However, immediately after this announcement, however, Lattu says that SHE'll be hosting training tomorrow in your absence. Everyone agrees to follow her, thanks in no small part to her status as the first of these students. Which you can't help but smirk at, knowing that they'll be fine in your temporary absence.

The rest of the day passes without incident, you sleeping through the night and waking up just as your wife is as well. After a hearty breakfast, Chaya returning with her siblings to eat her pre-battle meal prepared by Silver, you all accompany her back to the sight of her next battle. Which is surprisingly Dreadzone Station itself, your daughter bringing you all along as she appears beside the formerly-undefeated Soba.

“All ready to go?” he asks her, not turning from the screen as his fingers fly over a keyboard. “Better head on over to the dropship, the challenge run starts in five minutes.”
“Right. Wish me luck!” your daughter calls out to you all, waving as she runs off towards a waiting Dreadzone dropship. She gets in and it flies off, Soba turning to you all. Or more specifically, you. He doesn't say anything, just gives a nod which you return, before Raditz steps forward.
“Follow me, I know a shortcut.” your oldest's man says, you all flying after him as he leads you all from the air. Instead of taking the labyrinth of hallways, he instead flies up and over the open-air dome, you all following him as he goes inside. He leads you all over to an area of the audience that is cordoned off, landing gently in his seat and reclining back a bit. You all take seats as well, you powering down to make your back sizably smaller and avoiding blocking someone's view. It's almost time.

“It's almost time, you ready kid?” you ask the young Saiyan through her scouter, watching as the stage gets set.
“I'm ready.” she replies to you, you watching her pov through the one screen, and the arena through another two monitors while the fourth has the challenges. “This first one seems rather pointless though.”
“Just remember, as long as you hit them with the weapons, it counts.” you tell her, glancing aside to the challenge rules for the first challenge of the Vindicator Tournament, “Murphy's Law”. You are Soba, formerly an undefeated Dreadzone champion who was tracked down and challenged to a fight by the young Saiyan you now mentor. The first match was interfered with by several time travelers, but instead of finishing you off she decided to train and come back, beating you with her own power. Which she had, despite your own training. Now you accompany her here where you'd swore you'd never compete again, guiding and advising the powerful young warrior. “Just like we practiced.”

“I'm not gonna let something this easy stop me.” she replies as the announcers start broadcasting.
“Gooooood evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another exciting episode of Dreadzone!” Dallas calls out, the crowd cheering excitedly. “Tonight we have a very special episode for you all, where our former Champion Chaya once again takes on the redesigned Vindicator Tournament!”
“That's right Dallas, tonight's action will be quite special indeed.” Juanita adds in as the dropship containing the young woman flies down into the arena, but doesn't open its door immediately. While she keeps talking and explaining the rules of the first challenge you speak to Chaya, and ask if she's ready for this.

“Oh, I'm ready. No matter what they throw at me, I'll win.” she replies calmly, focused on the mission and not letting herself get distracted by the cheering of the crowd. “Weapon only until the six waves are finished. I've got this.”
“Now, on to our main event! Put your hands together for Chaya!” Dallas calls, the dropship's door opening. Chaya steps out into the roars of the crowd, and to their surprise she holds up the transforming rifle overhead. There are confused murmurs as they see her, one camera panning over to the Saiyan's family and seeing the looks of confusion on the younger ones faces. But her father remains stoic, only a single brow raising slightly as he sees this. “Round one, let's get started!”

“Don't stay in one spot, stick and move.” you tell her, Chaya immediately rushing towards the first of the landing DZ Striker bots, barrel stuffing it with the sniper rifle and pulling the trigger. The energy weapon fires, exploding the torso of the machine as she controls the recoil easily with one hand. The other machines start shooting, shots climbing as they can't handle their own weapons' recoil while several of the ankle biting Robot Swarmers start running towards her.

“Let's do this!” Chaya exclaims, still in her base form as she turns, firing the rifle over and over at the attacking machines. Her accuracy is, well, below average at best, yet she makes up for it with volume. She wields the two handed heavy rifle like a small pistol, firing rapidly and killing each machine with one shot. It only takes her a dozen seconds or so to wipe out the basic Dreadzone enemies, Chaya raising the rifle overhead as the last one falls to the crowd's cheering.
“Her weapon will chaaaaange....NOW!” Dallas calls out, you pressing the button on cue that shifts her weapon. It morphs from the sniper rifle to the weapon Chaya had adapted to easiest, the retractable flail with energy spikes sticking out from the head. “Round two!”

As her weapon changes more enemies drop down in the drop pods, including half a dozen heavy beam turrets that immediately sight Chaya in and start charging.

“Watch out, you have two more behind you at 4 and 7.” you tell her, Chaya nodding as she charges forward. She activates the flail, spinning once in a circle to smash one before slamming the flail down onto the closest working turret, smashing it to scrap metal as well. “Jump NOW!”

Without hesitation Chaya leaps into the air, dodging the four energy beams from the other turrets missing her by several yards.

“Good. Watch out for the Tremors landing down on the north and south ends of the stage.” you tell her as the beams stop, Chaya surging forward and going to town with the heavy flail. She smashes the wave easily, weapon switching again. Chaya continues fighting with each different weapon as you'd practiced, ending with the dual energy pistols against the giant axe-wielding machines. She flips around, easily dodging the large machines energy attacks and retaliating with a near-constant stream of energy bullets. It takes over a minute for the weak projectiles to finally destroy the large robots, but they each eventually fall while Chaya finishes without taking a single hit. And as the last of the Executioner bots falls, she raises both pistols triumphantly to wild applause.

“Great work, nicely done kid. That's the first challenge done.” you tell her, teleporting the transforming weapon back to its storage case from her hands. “Now that the hard work's done, time for an easier challenge. But don't drop your guard.”
“Right.” she replies, Dallas taking over the broadcast.
“And without taking even a scratch, Chaya has breezed through the Murphy's Law challenge!” Dallas calls out to the audience. “Now, next up is Air Drop! Juanita, would you care to explain the rules?”

“Of course. This challenge is a survival fight, where for the next three minutes, explosives will rain down from the sky.” she calls out as a bomber flies over the open dome. It drops a single metal crate down, Chaya back flipping away as it flies towards her. She lands on her hands then springs further away, landing on her feet as the crate slams into the ground, exploding in a surprisingly massive blast. “But she can't keep her eyes on the sky, as she's not going to be alone!”

A trio of dropships fly down, and from each of them a half dozen of Tanya's elite soldiers drop down, eyes glowing a menacing red from their face mask designs as they hold their varied weapons. You switch your top left screen to the overhead camera affixed to the bomber overhead, it already zoomed in on the arena.

“Got my eye in the sky set, you ready to go?” you ask her, Chaya cracking her knuckles.
“I'm ready, let's do this.” she replies, lowering her hands and clenching her fists. Her golden aura blazes up around her, Chaya glancing back over her shoulder as even more of Tanya's elites land behind her.
“Aaaaaaaand BEGIN!” Dallas shouts, starting the second challenge.

She expects Chaya to have another form. She's planned for her to be holding Primal back, having seen footage of King Vegeta's form fighting against you. But she's confident that Chaya will be easy for her to topple even if she has that level of power in reserve. While she COULD have Berserker or Super Saiyan 3, she thinks they are less likely than Primal.
But when Chaya reveals a divine form, she'll certainly have -a- reaction.

You have no idea what powers she wields. Also, she doesn't know that Karn possesses anti-divine might. Or that Chaya now has anti-magic daggers, courtesy of her oldest brother
>>
>>5524067
Shes hilarious. For all shes apparently malding over losing her title of goddess of strategy she seems to have forgotten its not what you now that matters. Its what you don't know that will get you killed.
>>
>>5524097
She may be a goddess of strategy, but she does share the fatal flaw native to divine beings: Hubris
>>
>>5524055
>karn's level of strength and endurance
So she prepared for someone who was always either strong enough or tough enough to come out on top.

That really does sound like she's going to forfeit when you put it that way. Too bad her brain is infected with the divine stoopid.

>>5524109
Truly no more a detestable fate can be concocted than being a god. Broly had the right idea from the start, devils are badass.
>>
>>5524109
So she's gonna be getting a Chaya sized boot in her rectum? Godlings not even once.
>>
>>5524112
>That really does sound like she's going to forfeit when you put it that way.
Not quite. Tanya’s defeat won’t automatically mean she gets her domain back. That ‘territory’ is now Tanya’s unless she PROVES to the universe’s people that she’s better than Tanya and they worship her instead.
>>5524117
She’s ready to fight a mortal. She isn’t as ready to fight something partially divine. Especially not someone like Chaya.
>>
>>5524139
The so called "divine" ain't prepared to fight these mortals in general. Chaya is about to tear several shades of red out her ass.
>>
im so glad the patron our one kid chose actually turned out to be based and actually does their job
>>
>>5524165
too be fair even in DBZ canon the one god who does his job is king yemma, this is just king yemma's bosses bosses boss.
>>
>>5524165
Kind of hard to be an up your own ass dickhead when your job revolves around the death of everything, other gods of similar power and stature included. Though even if he were any other deity he'd probably still be based. The guy takes duty very seriously.
>>
>>5524236
Jergal is notable not because he does his job and does it well.
He's notable for possibly being the only God to see that they couldn't manage the entirety of their domain properly. He then willingly divided his powers and station amongst qualified individuals AND took over what was probably the shittiest job possible as far as the domain of Death is concerned.
Name one other God who would ever do that.
>>
>>5524321
That's what I'm saying though. His duty took precedence over everything else. He recognized he couldn't do it alone and acted accordingly.
>>
>>5524321
I'm gonna point out in u7, at one point there was a whole group of Supreme kais for that exact reason, then buu fucked the entire divine hierarchy sideways. Fucking buu mang, actually kind of glad he got fodderized to ginyu in at least one universe.
>>
>>5524446
I wouldn’t say he was fodderized, no we basically jumped/spawn camped him. If it was only the ginyu's they would have lost hard.
>>
>>5524152
True.
>>5524165
Death gods are usually the most based of any pantheon, not meddling in others affairs and keeping the natural order going.
>>5524236
Yes, he is a VERY devoted rules lawyer.
>>5524321
Also this. He not only gave up power and prestige to better fulfill the duties of his office when one being wasn’t enough. But he was actually humble enough to do so willingly.
>>5524446
The only Supreme Kai worth anything was Grand Supreme Kai, but his good deeds didn’t go unpunished.
>>5524458
Buu did get jumped basically the moment he appeared
>>
>>5524606
Speaking of supreme Kai? Is he still inside of Buu/Ginyu?

Would it be worth trying to get him back?
>>
>>5524606
I find it pretty funny in retrospect that Buu got bullied that hard. I wonder why the Z-fighters take turns fighting when they could just zerg rush most opponents (Except Cell since he's always a sourpuss).
>>
>>5524691
There's usually a gap in power between the non-Saiyan Z Fighters and whatever BBEG they're facing, so they kinda have to delegate it to Goku and Vegeta.
Even then, you'd think Vegeta and Goku would have put aside their respective pride and thrill seeking and take shit on as a team BEFORE they're forced to.
I am so fucking mad about their characterization in Super you have no idea.
>>
>>5524701
Super did it for the funny le me mes guys, for real for real. Fucking kill me.
>>
So when are we beating Shin's ass?
>>
>>5524629
Yes, but has long ago become ‘digested’ would be the closest term. He’s now basically inextricably part of Buu’s body.
>>5524691
Even Cell, had Trunks and Vegeta fought together they could have pushed him. Not won, obviously, but put up a fight.
>>5524701
Why? Especially post Buu saga onwards, where BOTH have died multiple times and everything always works out. What INCENTIVE have they had to change behavior?
>>5524800
If he shows up and deserves it. But why would he now, Buu’s gone? And he’s learning how to do his job from a professional
>>
>>5524825
>If he shows up and deserves it. But why would he now, Buu’s gone? And he’s learning how to do his job from a professional
He still hasn't paid for a single bit of the suffering the Saiyans or King Cold have had to endure thanks to his incompetence. We're owed a sit-down at least, if not a legitimate duel to settle our grievances.
>>
>>5524847
I'll settle for just bullying him. Shin isn't worth it at this point. Buu is dead and we have a kai thats more willing and more able to take on the role.
>>
>>5524902
You forget that said Kai is up his own ass and has yet to comprehend how openly the Gods fucked up. And Shin being Shin.
>>
>>5524847
>We're owed a sit-down at least, if not a legitimate duel to settle our grievances.
If you had authority, yes. But don’t forget, he still views mortals as lesser beings. 3/5ths, if I’ve done my maths correctly.
>>5524902
Elder Kai won’t step into the role, but wil stay on as advisor to his descendant. And advise and teach Shin’s potential replacement as well.
>>5524907
>You forget that said Kai is up his own ass and has yet to comprehend how openly the Gods fucked up
If Karn spent his days beating up every deity with a modicum of authority and head-up-ass syndrome, he’d have no time for his kids. Much less grandkid(s).
>>
>>5525125
So its time to raid Heaven like its Madness Combat and drag that bitch to our level? I'm down.

It occurs to me that if no one performs the SSG ritual by the time Beerus wakes up, he's going to think Chaya is the Super Saiyan God he's supposed to fight since she'd be the only Saiyan with obvious god ki.

While I know she'd probably get stomped even with how much she's improved, I almost want to see Chaya fight him.
>>
>>5525125
>If you had authority, yes.
Given how Karn is the ranking General of the largest governing body in the Universe, I'd say he has some authority. If we have to argue that with a sword in hand, so be it.
>But don’t forget, he still views mortals as lesser beings.
Lesser beings that just shit-stomped the creature that ate the Kai's best and brightest.
>3/5ths, if I’ve done my maths correctly.
WE WUZ A WARRIOR RACE 'N SHEEEEEEEEIT
>>
>>5525141
>It occurs to me that if no one performs the SSG ritual by the time Beerus wakes up
>im-fucking-plying
But yes, Beerus would probably be taken aback by Chaya at first. For him, it'd probably feel like yesterday the strongest saiyan in this universe wouldn't even be able to make Shin blink, and then today they're walking around with divine ki. I think he'll be mildly pleased that we werent just sitting on our hands.
>>
>>5525165
Oh yeah, that's another thing we've yet to talk about.
Do we actually want to wait until Beerus wakes up before we intentionally botch the ritual?
If we do it right now, we'd have about a year and a half to try and gain control over Berserker 3.
>>
>>5525191
I believe towa already warned vegeta that if we did beerus would just be awoken early.
>>
>>5525221
Ah, good looking out on her part then. I guess we should spend the time remaining focusing on our gains and Ascended Berserker mastery.
>>
>>5525191
We have to wait. GD said a thread or two again nobody in Universe 7 has the strength to stop Karn once he hits the full power of Berserker God, so we if try and pop it early then everyone on New Salda is going to die before our rage ends.
>>
>>5525131
Why seek more combat? Life is good now, and a war with the gods endangers his family.
>>5525141
He’d be surprised but initially disappointed in thinking THAT level is the limit of SSG.
>>5525157
Divine authority, not merely mortal authority. This is a Supreme Kai we’re talking about, he doesn’t recognize you having any authority, especially over him.
And I’m glad you got the joke. That’s how Kais see mortals AT BEST.
>>5525165
He may be impressed with the overall level of the Saiyans. Especially with how many Super Saiyans are running around.
>>5525191
Yes. You’ve been warned doing so would result in New Salda’s destruction, as well as anyone who’d try and restrain you
>>5525221
This too. But more of as a consequence.
>>5525244
Yes. I think it was longer ago than that, but correct.
>>
>>5525244
That's another issue. Do we really wanna perform the ritual on New Salda itself?
>>
>>5525284
If Beerus is there its fine, because we're going to hulk out, but Beerus is going to be there to take it. I also remember from a old sneak peak that Whis is going to do his best to make sure the planet stays intact, since he knows thats what really sends karn over the edge, and has the biggest chance of causing Karn to kill Beerus.
>>
>>5525277

Question, whis had the vision of angry green killing Beerus because of anger.

How close are we to Karn of that vision? When we unlock angry ritual will we be about in the same power level bracket or is that Karn further beyond?

You’ll have to wait and see. What I WILL say is that Whis knows all about DDF and its power/limits

QM UPDATE

Alright so this weekend I'm going to be too busy to run the episode, so Chaya vs Red Knight won't drop until NEXT weekend, the 21st/22nd. In the meantime, I'm actually hitting a bit of a block on the intermission I'm writing. So, I'll try my best to have an intermission out this Saturday, but no guarantees it'll be done by then. If it's not, I'll have it out by next Thursday at the latest.

>>5526172
It's like watching ants to him, why would he care about their mating habits? The gods mostly only THINK they're on a different level to mortals, whereas angels are literally built differently.

Welp, I got involved with Level Up, and... yeah I can see why people's last thread was trashing it. DM is a complete asshole who can't stop putting others down to make himself look good by comparison. Didn't help that the constant meta-commentary was getting taxing to read, but I could power through it. But the guy just makes it not worth it and his fanbase is just as toxic, which is not surprising since it's akun but still thought. Whatever happened to the golden rule.
>>
>>5526898
What, you mean you don't like stories written like this;

>"Damn, you hit hard and you're really tough, Caulifla!" said Kenzou. The fight was showing him that Caulifla was really tough, and that she hit hard.
>>
>>5526901
If I get Snooty at every writing style I won't be able to enjoy even my own work much less any quests. But no I get where you're coming from. The U6 wank is very cringed. Like I don't mind trying to throw twists to try and change up the formula so it doesn't end up the same DB run as everyone else. But the way they were implemented is clumsy and they had to make p stuff to woobyfy them like U6 actually being a secret shithole thanks to a fascist Saiyan government. It's the kind of shit I would find in something like Kakumei which also misses the damn point of what makes DB...well dragon ball.

Again, I can tolerate all that if the story and/or community are worth it. Like I disagree with you guys and GD at times and there is stuff that I don't like. But it doesn't bother me cause I like the story and can tell it's truly genuine and heart filled by an autistic collective (This isn't a pod shot since nearly every quest, in general, has some form of autism, especially stuff like DB). That and I genuinely respect both you guys and GD, as sappy as that sounds. You don't give easy tells like Lmaoing like some stuck-up chick or insecure twelve-year-old as a rebuttal/every little thing.
>>
>>5526901
>Every action, no matter how minor, requires an introspective paragraph on the current situation and how we got here
American english classes and their essay assignments have been disastrous for the writing community.

>angels are literally built differently.

>>
>>5526898
Always a shame to hear a fellow QM going that route, but it is what it is. The main downside of the free, everyone can be a qm spaces, but were it not set up this way people like me wouldn’t have started writing either. The price of free quests.
>>5526909
I’ll be the first to admit not all my ideas worked, some of my own implementations weren’t all that great. But you gotta stay humble, which is why I openly ask for criticisms. Can’t get better if you don’t ever hear what you’re doing wrong.
>>5526918
As a Appalachain-flavor burger I would 100% agree. Absolutely hated english classes in school with the “no child left behind” bullshit. Had motherfuckers who couldn’t READ in my highschool classes but were passed anyways because they were already 21.

>>5526898
Quests based on anime always seem to be hit or miss. You either get a well written adventure, or just straight up garbage.
>>
>>5526898
Because you made the mistake that any Dragonball fan outside this thread has enough collective braincells to not drool. That's your fault honestly.
>>
>>5527214
You definitely improved GD, you pulled off protecting the family style story better than anyone on qst. Mostly by making a family of interesting characters we want to protect and not something from, you know.....akun.
>>
>>5527214
Also I just want to point out that no child left behind was made just to cripple the education of the average American family. Instituting a eugenics program so only the convienently perfect can be seen as desirable in the genepool.
>>
>>5527240
It does feel like that at times.

>>5527339
Yeah, it's my fault, and I own up to it. It just would be nice to not default to expecting the absolute worst in people.

>>5527214
It's a shame but you choosing to be humble is just another reason why I have deep respect for you. You never feel the need to put others down, even when they deserve it. You don't let your hype cloud your mind or corrupt you. It's that down-to-earth wholesomeness that makes you worth sticking through the long haul.
>>
>>5527343
If you expect the worst you will always be pleasantly surprised. Or correct. Whichever comes first. I'm miserables but that fact always makes me feel a little better.

If you don’t humble yourself, the universe WILL humble you sooner or later. You know, like getting a 9:55am text at work from your sister meant for your mother showing both were complicit in your girlfriend cheating on you for months with an art major. Small things like that to keep you humble.

>You know, like getting a 9:55am text at work from your sister meant for your mother showing both were complicit in your girlfriend cheating on you for months with an art major. Small things like that to keep you humble.
Its all women, they have been doing it for centuries, to women, being able to get away with it, or help another get away with it, is a sign of pride for them. Never. EVER. Believe what comes out their mouths. Being good is weakness to them, and to only be exploited.

>but those double 1s in the Grey homeworld invasion, thread 5 I think came about. And I’d grown too attached to Karn and the crew to let the quest end then and there. The rest is history.
Thats really where it all started, isn't it? If we just rolfstomped Dr Greyface, we wouldn't have gotten fssj, we'd never be training Vegeta to be a proper king and less of a shithead, we would've never gotten on Towa's radar, we probably would've gotten fucked by the bugs, and if we survived that, Frieza would've gone through with Operation Harambe without the insurance of "the" super saiyan's loyalty causing almost everyone we know and love to either die or unexist. And that's just before the New Salda Liberation invasion which also wouldn't happen. If someone were to show Nefarious back in HFIL that potential future and point out that HE'S the reason the saiyans are thriving, how hard would he seethe?
>You know, like getting a 9:55am text at work from your sister meant for your mother showing both were complicit in your girlfriend cheating on you for months with an art major. Small things like that to keep you humble.

Eugenics is strengthening the gene pool by eliminating undesirables, what no child left behind did was devalue a high school diploma and required college for many fields that didn’t before. And now that’s being done away with as well, making an ever-increasing debt ceiling to subsidize the parasites known as administration/middle management.

YES

Yeah, its still eugenics though, but its being made by idiots that should never have had authority to begin with because of nepotism. So everyone is dumber and forced into debt slavery if they weren't born lucky.
>I can’t say all, as I haven’t met all. But I also won’t have anything to do with them anymore.

Not to get too /pol/ here but
>Yeah, its still eugenics though, but its being made by idiots that should never have had authority to begin with because of nepotism. So everyone is dumber and forced into debt slavery if they weren't born lucky.
Isn't eugenics about increasing the desirables population and reducing the undesirables population by either dismantling their culture, affecting their ability to reproduce or outright gulag-holocausting them? What GD described sounds more akin to, for lack of better words I cannot find, a "participation trophy" problem where unqualified people are given jobs just because they do the barebones minimum.
>Then the majority, feminism just gave the modern world a chance to remove the plausible deniability they all used till today. Over confidence is a slow and insidious killer and all that.
As crazy as it may sound to you, feminism despite the name was about increasing the rights of women AND men while also being equal wayyy back when. I feel that the idea isn't to put down someone to their lower level, but to raise up everyone to a fair, equitable level. Unfortunately it is co-opted and misunderstood and we just end up having class and race wars instead of wars against the system which fucks all sorts of people in the ass. Doesn't help that the left, or atleast the vocal left don't put in as much effort to reach out to less oppressed groups and just lose that audience to the right day in and day out.
>My first gf ended up splitting with me only to fuck seven of my friends. I know what its like, its why the moment I get work I'm going to learn how to make a nuke and go postal with it.

Understood! Uhhhh...
I want to know what the time patrol thinks of Karn not just as a force of nature but a person as well. I know Pinkie thinks we're a menace and the same goes for The Boi, but what about The Three Idiots and Xeno Goku & Vegeta, along with other lesser known Time Patrol goons that haven't gotten the spotlight recently?

>As crazy as it may sound to you, feminism despite the name was about increasing the rights of women AND men while also being equal wayyy back when.
Not true, it was a propaganda opperation made by simps and a bunch of ugly undesireable dykes that couldn't get dick. Women at the time never asked for it and didn't want the responsibilities those right came with. But simps helped the fugly's out, the fugly's still couldn't get the dicks the wanted, and had a long march into normalizing the problems of women today. If you can point to ONE right men didn't already have or wanted, I'll let you think on it.

Ah, I see, your a retarded commie, Equity is Devil Aids, and we see the consequences of it today. Excellent modern example, Diversity Hires. Huh. The last time I saw a timeline like that was in DBM, and that was wayy before Golden Frieza and god ki in general was a thing, so he got bitchslapped a lot in that comic when introduced to all the universes where he did lose. The Colds can't catch a break, can they? I mean, they don't deserve to, but its weird how consistently they get BTFO across time.

Fusion dance is a tough one. I know that in base form he's bigger than Meloka and smaller than Nappa, sooo...I think Bardock would be an OK fit, but convincing him to go through with it might be significantly harder.
As for potara, Frieza doesn't have conventional ears. I'm not sure if potara is a thing he can do. It'll work with Ubo though and we could see just how terrifying a Saiyan Kryptonian hybrid could be

The problem with Buu isn’t so much his power, but how you can’t hurt him, run him down, debilitate him, or anything else of the sort. Buu’s body is always at full strength and never tires in combat. Except against another Majin.

I see, so Imagine Dragon's abilities are a hard stop at anything biotic, and affecting fleshbags is reliant on the effect of changing the laws or matter of nonliving objects. Perhaps I was thinking too boldly. She could say shit like

and it gimps him right off the bat. Not exactly kill him, but it would definitely lower his morale a bit. Alternatively, she could turn all of his clothes into magma, or jam his communication devices (he has those, right?), or just straight up make a black fucking hole right next to him but not ON him. Pretty solid, you have a harder time finding rooms that have open spots. Its like chess as a fighting game, and the modded scene is pretty good

>Toribash, and stick figure animation game
Don't know either of those.
>>5531086
Quite. But that's an endgame option.
>>5531110
Oh, it would most certainly have been. But she needed to know the consequences her power could have once she could understand.

Chess but in a fighting game format with stick figures.

Yeah I definitely don't have time for that.

Goddess vs Primal January commission art/epilogue is now live. A small taste here of the masterpiece for everyone
>>
>>5532077
Nice, the artist did a real good job of this one, and its only a WIP.
>>
>>5532092
That’s before the effects and everything were added. Our guy @Vincentgraphart made another absolute masterpiece
>>
>>5532077
Niiiiiice
>>
>>5532077
Just caught the Patreon epilogue. It's nice to know the other Karns also have a habit of taking in strays.
I wonder how Karn got to be like that anyways.
>>
>>5532265
Yes it is. Another masterpiece.
>>5532279
It does seem to be a character trait at this point. Who knows, that might be explained. One day.
>>
>>5532329
I need to find the Patreon at some point, it sucks not seeing them.
>>
>>5532333
It's in the OP, link should still be working.
>>
>>5532336
Soon as I get a job, I'll look into it

Not for that, but I did finally break through my writer's block this morning! Grinding out that patron epilogue this morning while I couldn't swim got me back into the rhythm. Now on page 2 finally of the Chilli/Chaya intermission.
>>
>>5532365
Its all coming together
>>
>>5532372
It is good to finally get this one moving. After all, this will be the first time Chaya meets Ainz.
>>
>>5532393
What the fuck is bone boy planning with Chilli's sister?
>>
>>5532436
>planning
You misunderstand. This is a chance meeting, while she's there to seek her brother's help.
>>
>>5532528
I still don't trust him what with his dungeon minions....proclivities.
>>
>>5532564
They have different tastes, that’s for sure
>>
>>5533390
Not to mention that if Chaya is anything like her mother, she'll correct them if they get out of line. Permanently.
>>
>>5533400
They should be more scared of Chilli, who much more so than Chaya takes after his mother. She’s far more relaxed
>>
>>5533419
>Chilli's the big brother to Chaya even though he's younger than her
I'm glad they know to stick up for eachother.

Whelp, lost a second character at my irl table, first one fed to this DM. RIP Battlemaster John, your 178 damage turn will be missed. Now, time for the hexblade warlock to take the stage next month.

>>5533429
Not quite. He’s just more willing to go all in on ending someone far sooner than his sister.
>>5533459
You think that’s bad? Punished Chilli exists.
>>5533482
True, sometimes.
>>
>>5533796
Punished Chilli is old man Chilli, and old man Chilli is scary.
>>
>>5533484
Ah Siegfried. Big swords are fun as fuck.
On that note, would Karn be able to withstand Soul Edge and retain his sanity if he were to wield it?

i know that feel, our rogue died on friday due to rolling like shit and falling into a giant chasm with lava at the bottom.
>>

>>
>>5533801
No, that one is a different Chilli. Not the pictured one seen before. The one I’m meaning now is the one who failed to save his daughter.
>>5533812
Big swords are, but we’re old west setting. Cowboys and aliens type shit.
Yes. Between Bane’s influence, his practice against a far greater RAGE, and not the least of which the mind control immunity Towa gave him, he’d be fine. Hell, Karn could break the fully recombined perfect Soul Edge over his knee with ease.
>>5533854
Oof. No save, no rope, nothing? That’s rough. Mine just got ripped to shreds by wolves the Vampiress summoned after getting KOd by her enthralled Yak minotaur named Hugh Yackman.

Oh dear god someone that smart is dangerous when thrown off the deep end.

I fucking love TTRPGs man. Where else do you hear sentences like this?
>>
>>5533862
He’s, well.... If you thought Chilli was traumatized by the clown, hoo boy.
Yes.
>Excuse you, please elaborate.
Long story shorter, our party(down a couple members due to scheduling) was given a job to try and break a curse. Beauty and the beast type situation. Problem was Vampiress was bloodlusted and attacked, battle ensued. Rolled a 1 with one revolver so catastrophic failure of one pistol. Then drew the old Ring of Antimagic-fitted break action pistol with Enlarge/Reduce cannon-sized shots, took aim with Sharpshooter and Action Surged. Rolled 3 48s and a 34 on all 4 shots for big damage, but she still lived through all that. Mist Form’d away on her turn, but my next got shot with the “Rod of Magic Missile” Revolver and emptied all 7 charges, she still lived but it knocked her down to 0. Then I was KOd and ripped to shreds while out by two of the ten wolves she summoned while my party tried to find a way out. Scroll of Fly with the artificer, grabbed the now also KOd but still alive Rogue and they gtfo’d. Only level 8s, so nowhere near enough money to True Resurrect him. Rip John Xander, you were a real paranoid old war vet sumbitch.

Rest of the table have only played the starterbox campaign and this one really, they’re not seasoned roleplayers. Or even rollplayers. I picked a battlemaster to nerf myself out of combat(5 CHA 10INT) and give everyone else time to shine. Next character will be a rather dapper assassin hexblade warlock.

Basically Me, another PC, and 2 NPCs of our space ship crew had to go a club to recruit another PC into the crew. The PC was an idiot, a member of a gang called the Mox, and had us meet in hostile to them gang territory.

So 6 gangsters come downstairs, 7 more on the first floor, we tried to get out the front door, ran into 6 more gangers there, combat broke out.

First time playing a full caster, my AOE spell accidently hits the other 2 PCs and drops them to half, and alerts everyone inside cause I'm a dumbass.

It culminated in me being shot in the head twice and losing an arm *Warforged for the Win*, bard NPC losing an eye, Sorcerer PC getting a bullet to a lung, Orc NPC going down like 5 times, the Rogue PC going okay at half health, and around 30 dead enemy gangsters and a high speed chase across the highway in a stolen car and pursued by 3 motorcycles and an armored truck.

Considering that planet is based on Cyberpunk 2077 Night City it really was thematically appropriate.

QM UPDATE/QUESTIONS

Still on that daily grind, even when the useless eater doesn't show, and I have to pull a 12-hour shift two Mondays in a row. And with me actually getting more work in on the intermission, as of right now it'll release this Thursday and really help set up the Chaya vs Red Knight fight with some of her training and preparation.

In the meantime, I usually ask you all a lot of questions, but I'd rather hear your thoughts. Hit me with your questions, things you've liked and disliked about the quest, the way certain things have gone in the past, and what you're NOT wanting this quest to become.
>>
>>5536058
I'm still trying to get a job that will get me away from my mother, being in the middle of nowhere sucks, but I got laundry done today.
What is the Red Knight's thoughts on a bunch of mortals stepping up to gods? Does the Red Knight actually know anything about Karn?
>>
>>5536064
Good luck with the hunt.
She's annoyed.
Aside from what Vox's footage shows her, not really. But she does clearly recognize him as a Fateless.
>>
>>5536083
But she is dumb enough to try fighting a child of a Fateless?
>>
>>5536087
>dumb enough
Fateless isn't a hereditary trait. And she's confident (not without reasons, plural) that she could easily defeat you. After all, it has been recorded on a Vox camera that you're weak to being Banished from the mortal realm.
>>
>>5536089
>spoiler
I will admit, it is a good strategy.
What she doesn't know is that we have more than a few ways of getting back.
>>
>>5536089
If she thinks that is enough to stand up to Karn's kids, let alone Karn, this godling has a lot of humble pie to choke down.
>>
>>5536093
It would work. But with her divine spell slots she has far more Banishing Smites than you can feasibly recover from.
>>5536096
That's just Karn's most obvious weakness that she can exploit the easiest. You don't earn the title of 'Lady of Strategy' by being one-dimensional in your plans.
>>
>>5536101
Considering she thinks she could beat Karn is proof enough she is off her rocker.
>>
>>5536112
She wouldn’t ever overpower Karn. But you don’t possess the means to handle her different magics, nor the means to actually put her avatar down aside from Divine Dragon Force.
>>
>>5536137
We may not be able to handle her alone, but when has a fight with Karn ever been against Karn alone?
>>
>>5536140
Arbiter rematch 2 and 3, the Abyss Dragon, Karn vs Conton City Prison, and Lyin Eyes Requiem are the big ones right off the top of my head. I’m sure I could think of more if I thought about it.
>>
>>5536151
Okay yeah it's happened plenty of times before.
That said, we still generally have allies at our back.
>>
>>5536157
Usually yes.
>>
>>5536190
And we only need to grab the red bitch once to end her.
>>
>>5536263
Well, yes, theoretically. But you don't know which enchantments/enhancements she's rocking before fighting someone she's meticulously prepared to fight that could be up to AS POWERFUL as you are. She's taking no chances against Chaya and thinks she has her number, but your daughter hasn't revealed her divine power to Dreadzone yet.
>>
>>5536285
Hopefully Chaya is smart enough to keep Blue to herself....eh Bane is with her, it oughta be fine. And the smug bitch won't expect him either.
>>
>>5536289
Well, this is the battle she'll have to break it out for. Especially after learning from Chilli just who the Red Knight actually is, thanks to his connection to Jergal.
>>
>>5536313
Chilli is the good younger/older brother. Its good life is going well for him.
>>
>>5536315
He’s a good brother and husband. We have to wait and see how he does as father.
>>
>>5536390
He's gonna have it rough with a baby girl.....eh, it'll be educational.
>>
>>5536422
He won’t have it easy. But having a kid of his own will force him to reconsider his path forward in life.
>>

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 189 Intermission-

b]AGE 754, CRINSON DEMON VILLAGE OUTSKIRTS

-ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIGHT-

“No no no, not like that.” your brother says, a note of irritation in his voice. He lowers his crystal magic sword he'd crafted to look like the Red Knight's, shaking his head. “You can't activate it AFTER our weapons hit, else her Smite will go off and you'll be in trouble.”
“Haaaah, alright. Let's try again.” you say, sheathing both daggers once more into your boots and retaking your fighting stance. You are Chaya, once and future Champion and currently training with your brother on his adoptive world. With his magic access, you'd gone to him for advice and help with your upcoming fight with the clearly-divine Red Knight. But as he takes his stance, shield pointed towards you and sword held back and at the ready similarly to her style, suddenly a darkness appears behind him. You watch as it turns into some sort of portal, and a being you've never seen before steps through. The robe-wearing skeleton steps through, your brother immediately turning and readying himself to fight as well. But then he visibly relaxes, addressing the creature by name.

“Ah, Lord Ainz. I wasn't expecting you.” he says, letting his sword shatter into nothing while offering his right hand. “What brings you around today?”
“Good day, Sage Chilli.” he responds, the two shaking hands. Once the grip is exchanged, he looks around, and seeing the rest of you for the first time seems confused. “I-Is this a bad time?”
“That depends on what you're here for.” your brother replies, gesturing to you with his shield arm. “I'm in the middle of helping my sister prepare, she's getting ready to fight a god next week.”

Immediately the skeleton Ainz's jaw drops, shocking him into complete silence for a moment before he recovers.

“I see.” Ainz replies neutrally, turning back to your brother. “Then I shall not take up too much of your time. I was just stopping by to congratulate you and your wife of the birth of your first child.”
“Oh, well, thank you.” your brother replies, his turn to be surprised. Ainz then reaches into the portal for a moment, then when he pulls his hand back out three beings who seem to be maids of some sort walk out, each carrying a box in their hands. “What is this?”
“Is it not custom to greet the birth of a child with gifts for the parents and child?” Ainz asks him, to which your brother glances over to his wife. Who steps forward, still holding the young daughter in her arms.
“Usually that is held before the child's birth, but from one of my husband's allies I suppose we can make an exception.” she says, to the bone man's apparent joy, until she steps past her husband towards him. “Only if she likes you though.”

“Eh?” Ainz asks, again clearly caught off guard by your brother's family.

“If Meloka Wolbach accepts you, then we shall as well.” Megumin says confidently, pulling her daughter from her shoulder and turning her towards the skeleton himself. “Now you shall face your judgment!”
“Ahhhh?” Meloka Wolbach vocalizes, tilting her head sideways as she looks at the skeleton man in robes. You glance aside at the trio of women holding onto boxes, but to your surprise they don't gush over her. Except for the one with the antannae, who seems to be leaking some sort of fluid out from under her chin somehow. Brows furrowing you look at her, realizing that her face isn't her face, but a mask of some sort. Hold on, is that thing DROOLING while looking at your niece?! “AAAAAAAAHH!!”

Your head snaps back, turning to see the young half-Saiyan holding her arms out towards the skeleton. Who seems surprised, unsure of what to do as he keeps looking at the child.

“Hmm hmm, seems like you pass.” Megumin says, smiling a bit as she steps forward. “Go ahead, you may hold her.”
“I don't know, I-” he starts, when his entire body turns completely still. He glances towards your brother, who is seemingly staring him down. You can almost feel the sparks in the air as he stares the skeleton down, then after a few moments Ainz sighs out in defeat then holds out his hands. “Very well, I shall accept this great honor graciously.”

Megumin hands her daughter to him, the skeleton clearly unsure of how to hold her. But young Meloka Wolbach doesn't seem to mind, sitting there in his hands and reaching up towards his face. Her tiny fingers brush against his skull, eyes wide in amazement at how different Ainz is from people. You hear something, glancing back aside towards the maids only to see the redheaded woman with twin braids is actually growling. But as you look at her, she seemingly senses your look and turns, eyes meeting your own.

“What's your problem?” you think to her, the woman immediately freezing in place. Her knees then bend slightly, you getting the feeling she's planning to either pounce or flee. So you keep talking to her telepathically, trying to figure out what's going on. “Why are you growling at my niece?”
“You can read minds?” she thinks, you nodding to her once without breaking eye contact. To which she sighs out, and is immediately reprimanded by the black-haired maid's deathly glare at her. The redheaded woman gulps, back straightening as she meets the other's gaze. After a second of silence the woman then glances to you, the black-haired maid looking your way as well.

“Call me Chaya. I'm Chilli's older sister.” you tell them both now with a thought, the black-haired woman nodding slightly your way then turning her focus back on her master and your niece. Who is now giggling and clumsily clapping her hands, eyes fixed on the skeleton's empty sockets. You then glance back at the redheaded woman, who seems to have restrained herself and is silently watching her master holding your niece. After a few more moments he lowers her, handing Meloka Wolbach back to her mother. Who takes her daughter eagerly, stepping back from the skeleton. But Meloka Wolbach clearly doesn't want to let him go yet, holding out her arms towards him.

“Baaaaaa!” she exclaims, suddenly waving both of her arms towards him. Causing the skeleton to grin, at least as far as you can tell. He chuckles to himself, then turns his focus back to Chilli.
“Now the, back to business. For your daughter's birth and life, we of the Great Tomb of Nazarick bring you three gifts. Naberal, if you would please.” Ainz says, gesturing to the black-haired woman who steps forward silently. She is holding the largest of the three rather extravagantly-engraved and gold-plated boxes, walking to just before Ainz and setting the box down. She opens it up without a word, revealing a soft, glowing light. Standing on your toes to peer in, you see what appear to be some sort of crystals packed into it. The skeleton man Ainz then bends down, grabbing one and lifting it up for you all to see.

“What are those?” your brother asks, you glancing his way to see his eyes are wide, looking at the crystal in real shock.
“These are Data Crystals, extremely rare loot from my homeworld. A magic item currently not replicable in this world.” Ainz says, holding the crystal out towards him. “These Data Crystals were harvested from monsters native to my people's world of YGGDRASIL. And by combining them with nearly any sort of item, one can create or customize virtually anything they can imagine.”
“Woah...” you say, shocked by the potential of these magic crystals before you. Looking back over to Chilli though, he seems more concerned than anything.

“This is.... I couldn't possibly...” your brother murmurs, raising his gaze to the skeleton's empty eye sockets. “These are relics from your world, I couldn't possibly accept them.”
“Now now, do not be so hasty, young Sage.” Ainz says, placing the crystal back into the box. “This gift, and only this gift of the three does come with a request. Neither I nor anyone else in the Great Tomb of Nazarick possesses the ability to recreate these crystals. Once our supply is gone, they will be gone forever unless a method for duplicating them is found first.”

“I see.” your brother replies, looking back to the box for a moment. You see something almost hungry in his eyes as he looks down at the box's contents, clearly feeling drawn to the crystals within it. He takes a deep breath, then after struggling a moment turns his attention from it back to the skeleton standing there. “Very well, I graciously accept this challenge.”

“I was hoping that you would. Once you've managed to recreate them, as I'm sure you will, we can talk business. But, before that, we still have other gifts for your family. Starting with you, Master of Explosions Megumin. Lupusregina, if you would please.”
“Yes Lord Ainz.” the twin-tailed redhead says, stepping forward and offering her master the much smaller box.
“Thank you.” he says, taking the box from her without opening it. He then turns fully to Megumin, and opens the box to reveal a golden amulet of some kind. She walks forward, looking curiously at the item within. “Knowing the differences between you and your husband, as well as the lengths he goes to protect you, I have crafted this particular magical item for your safety.”

“My safety?” she asks, looking at it curiously.
“Aaaaaah!” Meloka Wolbach calls, reaching for the item with both hands. “Ahhh aaaaaah!”
“Your daughter has a discerning eye for magic. This amulet is enchanted with High Tier Physical Immunity III” Ainz says, you raise a brow curiously. But looking from Chilli to Megumin, clearly this amulet is as impressive if not more so than the crystals.
“Hi-Hi-High Tier Physical Immunity THREE?!” she exclaims, clearly shocked by this revelation. “N-No way!”
“Yes way. Go ahead and try it on.” the skeleton encourages, Meloka hesitantly reaching out and accepting the item. Putting it over her head, for just a moment golden light wreathes her body before it fades away. “Entoma, I do believe that a demonstration of the amulet's power is in order. Nabe, if you would take her box so she may.”

“Yes Lord Ainz.” the black-haired woman says, turning and taking the mask-wearing maid's box. Who then raises her arm, and a few seconds later a giant bug flies over to her outstretched limb.
“Blade Bug.” the weird mask-wearing maid with the strange arms says, the bug grasping onto her arm. It then transforms, turning into a double edged sword attached to her hand and forearm. “I'm confident in my ability, but Lord Ainz would be displeased if I accidentally hit your spawn.”
“I've got her.” Chilli says, accepting his daughter from his wife as she faces down the strange creature. He then turns to Ainz, and once more have the unmistakable feeling that a whole telepathic conversation happened right before your eyes.

“Entoma, you are still level 51, correct?” Ainz asks her, almost as an afterthought.”
“Yes Lord Ainz, I am just as I was the day the Supreme Being Genjiro created me.” she replies, leaving you with even more questions. But this revelation seemingly stuns your brother, who again goes into a whole mental conversation with the skeleton.
“Excellent.” he replies after a short pause in which he and your brother shared thoughts. “I would like you to attack Megumin without holding anything back. The only limit is no magic, understood?”

“Yes Lord Ainz.” she replies, you turning to your brother questioningly. The power gap between Megumin and this creature you realize has to be some sort of bug is immense, she could probably kill her with a single attack. Much less the giant bug blade. Yet he seems entirely too calm about this. Hell, Megumin seems calm as well, but she never could sense ki before and wouldn't know how outclassed she really is. “Well, here I go!”

And in a blink surges forward, far faster than Megumin can react. If that amulet doesn't somehow stop this bug monster, if Megumin has to DO something for it to work, she doesn't have time. She'll be-!

“Don't worry, she'll be fine.” your brother thinks to you, as if anticipating that you're about to lunge forward and stop the attack before it hits her. “Just watch.”
“Are you sure?” you ask him, a bit worried. But then you sense something dark and menacing from your brother as he replies.
“Ainz knows better than to so much as harm a single hair on her head.” Chilli replies darkly, and for a moment you can see a massive crater somewhere through the mental link. No doubt the remains of wherever this being lived, or somewhere else important to him. Then before you can say any more, she's closed the gap, thrusting the sword at Megumin's sternum. But the blade never touches her. Instead her sword seemingly strikes an invisible barrier a few inches from her body and comes to a complete and abrupt stop.

“What?” you say, caught by surprise as the blade seemingly strikes against the very air. The bug creature then draws back the blade, unleashing a surprisingly quick barrage of blows against your sister-in-law. Not a single one lands on her, the amulet seemingly protecting her from any of the bug's strikes. She then leaps back, raising her left hand with a shout.
“Bullet Bugs.” she says, a swarm of tiny insects all appearing and flying down into her left sleeve, which rapidly begins to bulge out further and further, growing comically large. What is she planning?

“FIRE!” the maid uniform-wearing bug shouts, unleashing a swarm of tiny insect projectiles. They fly faster than the Covenant needle weapon's cursed projectiles, yet once more they all seem to strike that same invisible barrier. Not a single projectile strikes her, the swarm all smashing harmlessly against this wall and falling to the ground. She sustains the fire for maybe a dozen seconds before stopping, lowering her arm.

“That's enough, thank you for your effort Entoma.” Ainz says, clapping once. She immediately turns and bows to her overlord, dismissing her bugs and returning to her place in line as they fly off. “This amulet is enchanted with one of my own class features, High Tier Physical Immunity III. As long as you wear this, any physical attack below level 60 is nullified.”
“Woah.” you say, shocked by this revelation. Ainz turns towards you as you exclaim this, and can almost feel the skull smirking at you.
“Such an ability wouldn't affect someone of you or your brother's prodigious physical strength, but it is quite effective against most beings of this world. Even the strongest heroes my people have encountered were all only around level forty or so. So, this should protect you from any non-magical threats.”

“Thank you.” Megumin says, to your shock and surprise actually bowing to the skeleton. “I shall treasure this gift.”
“And lastly, for your daughter.” the skeleton addresses your brother and your niece in his arms, gesturing once more for the black-haired woman. She steps forward, handing her master the box. He thanks her then turns back to Chilli, opening the box towards you all. And you see the contents are several bottles filled with some sort of slightly glowing pink liquid. “Twelve specially-crafted potions by our specialist from E-Rantel, the young alchemist Nfirea Bareare with special supplies from the Great Tomb of Nazarick's treasury. These are known as-”

“Experience Potions.” your brother says, interrupting Ainz. Which surprises the bone man, his jaw dropping a bit as your brother stares at the bottles. But he regains his composure before Chilli looks up to him in shock. “How....?”
“If your daughter drinks all of these, she should gain enough experience points to reach level 25 immediately.” Ainz says, setting the chest at your brother's feet. “However, their effect is limited, and even all of them together cannot boost someone up a single level once they've hit level 42. So, they are best used earlier on in a young hero's career, to boost her up faster.”

“I shall be a good steward of these treasures and give them to her when the time is right.” Chilli says, closing the box then offering his hand to the skeleton. “Thank you.”
“You are most welcome. The Great Tomb of Nazarick will always be open to you and your family.” Ainz tells him, then looks over to you. “All of your family.”
“Once I kill this annoying goddess in my way and get my revenge against that traitorous bitch Tanya, perhaps I will.” you say casually, giving him a confident look. “After all, Chilli told me that some of your subordinates are quite powerful. Especially that one with the lance.”

“Shalltear? Yes, she is the strongest one-on-one duelist among all the Floor Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.” he says, bringing his hand to his chin. “I think a fight between the two of you would be quite the show. When I return I shall ask if she would be interested in a match with you.”
“Once I'm champion, I'll take anyone on, anytime.” you reply, clenching your fist in excitement. “And I won't stop fighting until I'm the strongest in the entire universe!”
“Ahahahaah. I'll look forward to it then. Until next time.” Ainz says, turning and raising his right hand towards the empty space behind him. “Gate.”

Once more one of those dark portals appears, the skeleton turning fully to it and walking through. The three maids follow behind, leaving behind the two chests with the items still in them. Once the three of them are through, the gate closes leaving only your family there on the hill. Everyone is silent for a moment, you then turning back to your brother.

“So, you ready to get back to it?” you ask him, cracking your knuckles. Your brother smirks, handing off his daughter to Megumin as he turns back to you. With a snap of his fingers the crystal sword and shield reform in his hands, Chilli again taking the Red Knight's fighting stance. You retake your own as well, determined to not lose to this joker. She's all that's standing between you and your long-awaited rematch with Tanya, and there's no way in hell you're EVER going to lose again!

Those maids must have terrible taste in moe, if Ainz nympho stalker was there she'd be excited and jealous of the baby. But I'm curious, do the bug and cat girl understand how outclassed they are to the Karn Clan?
>>
>>5538376
>if Ainz nympho stalker was there she'd be excited and jealous of the baby.
Why do you think Lupusregina was growling at Meloka Wolbach? That actual child was getting to touch Ainz's face when she has never had that great privilege.
>>
>>5538376
They probably assume Chilli is some kind of a Demigod or a freak of nature, and thus an outlier as far as these "Saiyans" are concerned.
That and they're also all pre-programmed to view mortals as lesser beings, so they probably wouldn't take any member of our family seriously at a glance.
They'd probably shit their pants if they ever cast any kind of scanning spell on any of us though.
>>
>>5538388
Simps, they never learn.

>COME ON, ITS SPARING PRACTICE, I HELD BACK, WHY DO I GOT TO DRAG HIM BACK?!
>All with Karn, decked out with sunglasses and a pair of kids on his lap handing him water, telling him what they learned in class that day
>He turns to look at the scryer
Godlings are born irrepably dumb, Jergal and his employees being a very small exception. These brats are gonna get that programming beat outta them and learn some respect. Quickly. I can't wait to see some shenanigans of Ainz crew bitching to each other about Chilli.
>>
>>5538394
They assumed so. Past tense. But Ainz was swift to put such thoughts to rest. Chilli and his family are NOT to be engaged with without himself present and are to be shown the same respect they are to show HIM to avoid any misunderstandings. After Chilli destroyed the first few floors of Nazarick and pushed through to the Throne Room solo when he attacked them, he has shown that they aren't the strongest beings on this planet.
>>5538402
>Godlings are born irrepably dumb
Chaya is going to ask the Red Knight why that is. Won't get an answer, but will be funny.
>>
>>5538409
>They assumed so. Past tense.
I still want them to see exactly how outclassed they would be by Karn.
Then I want to see Ainz when he realizes that Chilli is almost certainly going to blow Karn out of the water one day.
>>
>>5538409
Wait.....IS RED KNIGHT AN AUTIST AND IS HIGH ENOUGH ON THE SPECTRUM SHE CAN FUNCTION?! Oh wow...it makes so much sense.

Which reminds me, Ainz is aware of Isekai stuff like Kazuma, and I think Konosuba was even an anime he knew about. How much pants shitting will he do if he reads about what is actually out in the galaxy, would he know about Xenomorphs, what will his response be to seeing the ones responsible if Chaya drops off some Dreadzone Merch as a gift?

He's aware of more than Kazuma. He knows of Kazuma through Isekai Quartet. He has spoken to Chilli about the state of the universe, learning how things work. He knows that Chilli is also the "owner" of this planet and can do with it as he sees fit.

Chilli is a Super Saiyan. Who can use magic. What's a big angry man compared to THAT?

>>5538477
That's why magic is different. Physical powers are limited by one's strength in comparison to their opponent's. But magic has no such limitations.
>>5538478
I didn't say he WOULDN'T respect Karn's power. But only having physical power is less impressive than having both physical and magical might.
Ha.
>>
>>5538493
Considering physical power is as good if not better than magic at a certain point, its a moot difference. One Ainz can't even begin to fathom.
>>

No. Without Mechikabura's power, Karn wouldn't be immune to time controlling effects.

Buu wouldn't be able to absorb Universe 11's strongest. His aura alone makes a pressure field that Buu can't overcome without him being weakened.
>>5538529
He would be able to use Buu's powers better than Buu, but still not enough to topple the tower that is Jiren.

Guys it's ok to admit that chili is better / has more potential than most to be better than us.

It's only right for ainz to respect him more than us, he's our son. I don't know how often we tell him, but I'm proud of him.
>>
Just over 24 hours until we resume let’s goo!

>>5538653
Not quite. Healing damage is one thing, but restoring spent stamina and ki is an entire other problem. And Zenkai can’t realistically close that gap.
>>5539034
Yes. Karn’s potential is a line graph, but Chilli has a whole third dimension to his powers that Karn can’t fathom.
Enough so that it isn’t unexpected, but not so much that it loses meaning.
>>
>>5539189
24 hours woooo
Also there's no shame in admitting that Chilli has a lot more going for him than Karn. The biggest advantage we have over him is that we are his father AND we've been training & fighting longer than he's been alive. If we faced off against a future Chilli that's had the years of battle and training that we did, he'd kick our ass so hard it isn't even funny.

>Chaya
>Caulifla
>Tatsu(Jr.) and Tomi
>Maz and Kayle (they haven't found their gimmick yet)

I accidentally posted in the old, old thread, so I'll repost here.

oh wow this is still going! I think the last thing I remember participating in was, maybe, a bunch of Mecha Godzilla's that may or may not have been under the control of The Big Gete Star? Was that something that happened?

Anyone got a super rough update on the quest?
>>
>>5539911
You were here for the Big Ghetto Star? And got back now? Boy you missed a lot. By the by, we be a legit Grandpa now. Papa Tatsu is in Hell fighting demons to work off his sentence and because its fun. Freeza pulled a Vegeta and took Babadi's deal, but the Ginyu force fucked up Buu and stole his Body. No deaths. Uhhhhh, Towa had a few more of Karn's babies. Oh, we also killed a iteration of Pink Bitch. You came back in time for the down time arc before we hit Beerus waking up.

Chaya threw a tantrum and now she has no tail.

Chilli knocked up his girlfriend.

Karn got raped, but liked it, and told off his rapist for being too timid.
>>
>>5539917
Chaya did throw a tantrum, but it wasn't her fault she lost her tail. It was the boi....

Chilli married Megumin first though.

Towa is a loving mother.
>>
>>5539892
That's about right for what you KNOW of their potentials, except Maz and Kayle's potential could be anything. It could even be a boat.
>>5539903
She's realized a lot more of her potential than many others. Between her Stand and Miracles she has a LOT going for her. Yes they are, but anon's list wasn't of strong to weak. But of how much growth potential they have outside physical power(I assume).
>>5539911
Oh man, the Big Gete Star of 32/33, when Karn first went Berserker. Loved that transformation scene, to this day still don't think I've matched it. Long story short, war with the Covenant happened before Shin finally showed up and stopped it, Karn killed Trigon the Terrible when he stepped into the mortal realm thanks to Babidi. Who got bisected by Guldo then teleported away. Karn calls out the Arbiter on galactic tv for a one-on-one deathmatch, wins it in front of the whole universe decisively. Karn marries Meloka and more kids were born, episode 99/100 was a massive battle against the Time Patrol and Karn got captured and taken to Conton City. Escaped and made it back, war with Covenant breaks back into full swing while Chaya takes Broly, Chilli, Megumin, and Caulifla to fight the Hive with Dreadzone's finest. Eventually they beat the bugs while Karn, Freeza, Meloka, etc beat the Covenant ending with Freeza hitting High Charity with a Supernova and erasing the entire thing. Peace arcs with preparing for Beerus's arrival, Chilli marries Megumin and the wedding is crashed by the Time Patrol. Tatsu reaches his end, choosing to die in battle at Karn's hands rather than letting himself die without a fight. Different kids unlock/discover different powers, Chaya loses her title of Champion and nearly dies over it. She runs off seeking her chance at redemption for her loss, culminating in the Battle of Namek where Freeza went to get the Dragonballs and is mind controlled by Babidi. Who finally meets his end at Karn's hands, then he helps Ginyu pull off the greatest heist ever and steals Buu's body. King Vegeta hosts a tournament and crowns the winner his wife and Queen, who is one of Karn's students.....
I'm now realizing that I'm over a hundred episodes behind now on the catchup tldr pastebin.
>>5539917
>>5539935
Yes, Trunks is responsible for Chaya no longer having her tail. So far has received a deadly ass beating once each from Karn and Golden Freeza on two separate occasions. So far.
And I've really glossed over a LOT of content.
>>
>>5539917
>>5539935
Actually I do remember the stuff with Towa and their child. Children? Not sure there. It's slowly coming back.

>>5539941
DAMN that's a lot! Thanks for the catch up...
So for clarity... Freeza or Babidi died to Karn?

Also Ginyu stealing Buu's body is absolutely beautiful.

Thanks for the ketchup GD. I've legit missed this quest in my time away.

Towa has 3 from Karn, Maza Milha and Koruza. Plus adopted Future Chaya. Meloka has 9 biological, Chaya, Chilli, Tatsu&Tomi(Tomitsu), Caulifla, Maz, Kayle, Okira, and Karn Jr. Plus adpoted son Broly. There are a LOT now.
>>5539944
Babidi. Although bros status was severely damaged when in the battle while possessed, Freeza DID try Death Beaming Karn to get him angry and use his ‘true’ strength to fight. That wound’s still open and there’s a rift between them.
Yes it is. Ginyu got what he wanted, what he joined King Cold to get his hands on all those years ago.
Glad to see you back. Stick around tomorrow, we’ve got Chaya vs Red Knight going down from her coach’s POV, the Yardratian and formerly-undefeated Soba. Also Yardrat’s happened, most of Karn and Meloka’s older children now have Spirit Control and most of the Yardrat abilities. Including Forced Spirit Fission.
>>
>>5539954
>Freeza DID try Death Beaming Karn to get him
What I meant was:
>Freeza DID try Death Beaming Broly to get Karn
>>
>>5539941
you would assume right. if it was just strength alone Broly (as proven by him wining the children's tournament against chilli in the finals) would be near the top of the list instead of near the middle and karn jr. would be at or near the bottom of the list.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn confronts the alien known as J'onn J'onzz, who tells him that the mercenary Lobo stole his planet's greatest defender, a man known as Superman. After agreeing to help, Karn called his son Chilli who joined them. The three find Lobo and Superman thanks to Karn's Instant Transmission, appearing inside what appears to be some sort of prison. After rescuing the Kryptonian and Lobo, striking a deal with the last Czarnian that Divine Dragon Force bound. Fighting through the station to the hangar, the group then confronted the owner of the place, who transforms from a floating egg thing into a large, clawed beast. After easily dispatching it with Chilli Karn learned more of Divine Dragon Force's Dragon's Pact. After freeing Lobo and Superman Karn returned home, life returning to normal before Chaya's next fight. As we rejoin the fight from Soba's perspective, Chaya is fighting flawlessly while hundreds of explosive crates fall down onto the battlefield all around her.

“Excellent work. One second, move forward now.” you tell her as another one drops down right at her. Chaya kicks off the ground, blitzing forward towards the one shooting a barrage of energy shots. She weaves effortlessly through the high-speed laser shots, closing the distance and driving her fist through the machine's neck, decapitating it. Two behind you, block!”

Chaya listens and immediately flips up and over the destroyed bot's body, it taking the barrage of shots that would have hit her the instant her feet touch the ground. But the one to her left levels a flamethrower at her and fires. His flames consume her form, Chaya's image wavering and disappearing into nothing in the heat. As her afterimage fades, she swings her left hand backhanded like a blade, bisecting the soldier from right shoulder down to left hip then firing a massive blast of ki from her right hand. Which consumes both the soldiers' blasts who were shooting at her from behind, then slams into the two soldiers. It explodes in a massive, fiery blast, consuming them both and reducing them to scrap.

“That's it, they were the last two. Breathe, kid.” you tell her, Chaya exhaling in a slow, controlled breath as the crowd roars and cheers and the explosives stop dropping. She fires a scattershot up at them all, detonating the remaining crates like fireworks above the stage and causing the audience to cheer her on even louder.
“CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA!” they bellow, chanting her name. And her performance is honestly impressive, even after fighting you herself. She makes this work look easy.

“They're weaker than I remember.” Chaya comments to you offhandedly, her words to you slightly distorted by the cheers her scouter's mic picks up. You are Soba, formerly an undefeated Dreadzone champion who was tracked down and challenged to a fight by the young Saiyan you now mentor. The first match was interfered with by several time travelers, but instead of finishing you off she decided to train and come back later to beat you. Which she did soundly, despite your own training. Now you accompany her here where you'd swore you'd never compete again, guiding and advising the powerful young warrior on her quest to recapture the title of Champion of Dreadzone.

“In an absolutely mesmerizingly dominant performance, Chaya has cleared round two of the Vindicator Tournament!” Dallas shouts, his voice barely audible in the livestream over the crowd. “And now, time for what you've all been waiting for! The most anticipated fight of the season! Our challenger Chaya will now face her greatest threat yet!”
“That's right Dallas, her opponent now has much more in common with our current Champion Tanya than herself, a cool, collected strategist who has yet to take any damage in the competition! Put your hands together for the Red Knight!!”

Who drops down on a powerful stallion, it landing before Chaya on all fours. The massive beast rears up on its hind legs, the crimson plate-armored woman raising her shining sword up high to the audience's cheers, but something's wrong. That beast isn't real. You can't sense any ki from it whatsoever, which is explained when the knight dismounts and the beast dissolves into nothing. Some sort of magical construct then.

“You cannot win. Surrender, now.” the Red Knight says, pointing her unnaturally-shining sword at your fighter. “Or you may perish.”
“Are all gods as foolish as they are overconfident? Or just those that dare step foot into OUR realm?” Chaya rebuffs, clenching her fists as you can clearly see her tensing up.
“Go ahead and transform.” the Red Knight says, her tone cautiously confident. “No matter what sort of new power you've found before coming back, it won't be enough to overcome the gap between us. Even if you've gained your father's level of strength, you still can't beat me.”
“Oh yeah? You think just because you know what my family can do, that you know me?” Chaya taunts, grin widening as she braces herself, ki spiking as she starts transforming. “How about I show you something you've never seen?”
“Wait, what?” the Red Knight asks, taking a cautious step back as Chaya's power blazes. As her golden aura rises, suddenly you feel her power begin disappearing. Or, more accurately, changing into a power your senses cannot comprehend: the power of a god.

Shoutout to @CTankOmega for the quality work

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M65QwnxHe6I

“HAAAAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, aura changing as she taps into her divine power. Her golden ki explodes up from her in a pillar of light, the crowd shouting out in surprise as her might starts to change. Her body begins expanding, bulking out in all directions before there is a flash of pale blue within her energy. The pillar of light condenses around her as her body immediately returns back to her more normal shape. Pale lightning dances around her and through her aura as her body is outlined in azure, divine power within her golden aura. The same light flows through her hair down into her scalp for a moment, revealing Chaya's divine form that more closely resembles her father's strongest form than her mother's.

“What's this? It seems that Chaya has discovered some new, never-before-seen power!” Dallas shouts over the audience's stunned silence, turning to his cohost. “Let's get a scouting report, what do you see Juanita? How strong is this new form of the former champ?”
“I...I can't tell...” Juanita says, stunned. “Her powerlevel has completely vanished. The scouter can't even detect her anymore.”
“Wha..... You heard it here first folks, Chaya has achieved a power beyond even our understanding of power! This promises to be one hell of a fight!” Dallas shouts to the crowd's excitement. “Both contestants ready? Aaaaaaaaaaand-!”

Before it statrs Chaya thinks out to you, while her gaze remains focused squarely on the Red Knight. Who seems uncertain for the first time in all of the footage you've seen of her, cautiously appraising the young Saiyan. “How should we play this?”

Well, coach Soba? What do you tell her?

Gotta press the advantage while she's still caught off guard. The more time she gets to adjust, the more narrow Chaya's chances become.

“Go full power immediately and run her down.” you think to her. “Don't give her a chance to use any of her magic or tricks.”
“Right!” she replies to you, body relaxing as she readies herself to launch forward immediately.
“BEGIN!” Dallas calls, Chaya already attacking before the word is finished. Her fist slams into the Red Knight's metal shield with a tremendous clang, launching the plate-armored woman backwards. Your student then vanishes, using Instant Transmission to teleport back behind the woman. Who seemingly detects her, spinning backwards and backhanding the young Saiyan with her sword. Yet she dodges the attack, flipping backwards and kicking the armored woman's chin. Once more sending her flying back up and away.

“Guh!” she wheezes as Chaya flips backwards, landing on her feet then again teleporting back into range in front of her this time. Once more the Red Knight tries attacking, this time swinging the edge of her shield at Chaya's head. But Chaya CATCHES the shield with her right, stopping the swing completely. “Wh-What?! Tch, SMITE!!”

She swings her blade down, it radiating with pale light yet Chaya's faster. Catching the armored woman's wrist with her left hand, the stub-tailed warrior then throws both of the Red Knight's arms aside while slamming her forehead into the dark haired woman's nose. Which you can hear audibly crunch over the scouter, crowd cheering as the god's red blood flows. Before she can recover Chaya then curls herself up, then kicks the knight square in the gut with the full power of both legs and her back. The blow is tremendous, armor crunching and giving from the blow as once more Chaya launches the woman away. This time sending her crashing down to the arena below, tiles shattering from the impact.

As the dust obscures the divine knight Chaya begins gathering her power, golden light radiating from her right hand as she draws it back to punch. But then the dust around the knight is blown back, revealing her to still be standing. Her sword radiates with pale light, making it hard to look at even on a screen as she then swings it down in a cutting motion.

“Divine Strike!” the Red Knight says, voice booming yet calm as she demonstrates her might. From the blade there's a flash of light, Chaya twisting aside with the motions of her Su Ma technique and narrowly avoiding the long range slashing energy. It cuts everything in its path, carving the arena below her feet and nearly Chaya herself as the light flashes out, slamming into the far barrier protecting the audience from the fight. Stunning the entire arena into silence.

“The hell are you doing, MOVE!” you shout into Chaya's ear, galvanizing her back into motion. Without another wasted moment she fires back, punching from that range and firing her lance-like energy from her fist down at the woman. Who raises her shield, the dented metal still managing to block the energy construct. Which shatters upon impact. Yet Chaya'd used that moment of distraction, of the woman raising her shield to leave an afterimage behind just before teleporting, once more reappearing behind the Red Knight. “NOW!”

“HAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, swinging her left fist forward which is now covered in spiraling energy as well. She uses everything she's got, legs, arm, back, everything put into this decisive blow. Chaya's drill-like ki slams into the knight's armored back but doesn't penetrate, simply denting the armor and smashing it into the woman wearing it as she lowered her shield, seeing the afterimage above. Who gasps out in pain, caught completely by surprise as Chaya's heaviest punch crumples her armor. The heavy blow steals her balance, knocking the knight into an uncontrolled tumble across the ground. “Tch!”

The Red Knight rolls across the ground for several seconds before finally getting her feet up and under her, sliding to a stop facing Chaya while down on a knee. She wastes no time catching her breath, immediately raising her shield towards Chaya and bringing her sword up as well, flat resting on the top edge of the mangled metal. Looks like she's still got plenty of fight left in her.

Well? What now?
>Tell Chaya to keep up the pressure and not stop, another push like that and she could very well win this
>Have her split herself in two with Multiform, with her apparently vastly superior power she could easily finish this with double the hands
>Have Chaya keep herself at range, switch her strategy to use her speed and firepower to keep the Red Knight on the defense until she wears down

“Take those dual daggers out, rush in and cancel her Smite when she swings it.” you advise her, Chaya immediately using her telekinesis to draw the twin daggers. They fly up and out of her boot sheaths up directly into her hands, the young Saiyan immediately kicking off the ground towards her opponent the instant her hands clasp the weapons. “GO!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXO3mAe5aPQ

“This is over!” Chaya shouts, blitzing towards the armored knight. Who begins to gather her magic into the blade once more, raising it overhead as the Saiyan approaches her.
“BANISHING SMITE!!” the Red Knight roars, swinging the now-blindingly bright sword down at Chaya. Who plants her feet, sliding towards the warrior while raising her daggers up in an “X”. The sword flashes, crashing down into the crossed dragon bone blades. At the moment of impact there is a blindingly bright flash of light, all of your monitors flashing so blindingly bright you're forced to avert your eyes. It takes a few moments, then as the light begins fading you turn back to see what happened.

And the first thing you notice is that Chaya's still there! She wasn't banished to some other realm by the divine warrior's power. Instead Chaya's come to a stop, holding the metal of the Red Knight's blade inches from her face with the crossed bone blades. Or, rather, blade. You watch as one crumbles to dust, her left hand's weapon turning to powder in her hand as the same happens to the Red Knight's sword. Then using her Su Ma to spin counterclockwise out and around the Red Knight's shield, Chaya easily getting behind her foe and leaving the armored warrior's back wide open once again. But as Chaya swings with the dagger at her neck, the crimson-armored warrior turning and swinging a spectral sword backhandedly towards the Saiyan.

“BEGONE!!” the Red Knight shouts, swinging for Chaya's neck. But she's still the faster of the two, ducking the slash and avoiding getting hit. Leaving herself wide open.
“HAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, exploding up into a powerful left uppercut to the jaw. Her fist crashes into the unarmored jaw of the Red Lady, launching her skyward. But before Chaya can pursue, her opponent manages to cast another spell.
“SUMMON CELESTIAL!” she shouts, and in the air just above Chaya appears an angel's radiant form, wings flapping once. Which catches both you and Chaya off guard, you had no idea she could do that!

“HRMPH!” the angel shouts, swinging her axe down. But Chaya's far faster, leaping back and narrowly avoiding the slashing weapon.
“GUIDING BOLT!” the Red Knight roars, unleashing a beam of light from her sword. Catching Chaya by surprise, it crashes into her chest, yet doesn't seem to actually affect her. Until the angelic creature swings again, this time her axe weapon smashes into Chaya's armored side. The armor protects her from damage, but she's staggered and drops down to a knee.

“Tch! HAAAAAA!!” the young Saiyan bellows, unleashing a powerful ki-clad punch square into the armored angelic creature. Her energy explodes, launching the angel back up towards its master. Who now has a host of angelic spirits circling her, along with a pair of spectral wings sprouting from her back and slowing her descent. “So, you've finally decided to fight me seriously, huh?”

“You're far too dangerous to be left alive.” the woman says, spectral sword now glowing with golden fire as she drops towards the arena floor. “You must be destroyed.”

Well? What do you say now?

“Keep your distance, that looks like trouble.” you tell her, Chaya immediately kicking off the ground and flying back away from the descending godling. “Use your speed to stay one step ahead of her and keep barraging her with energy attacks.”
“Right!” Chaya replies, immediately gathering her ki into both fists as she flies.
“SUNBEAM.” the Red Knight calls, firing a beam of light bright as the sun at Chaya. Who again narrowly avoids the beam, only for the angel to swoop in and once more swing its axe down at her. Chaya once more dodges, this time spinning in a clockwise motion out and around the slashing weapon head.

“Too slow.” Chaya taunts as she gets a bit more distance, firing her left hand's energy directly at the angel's head. It fires out a a condensed orb of ki, slamming into and exploding against the construct's head. The attack consumes the construct entirely, it vanishing in the fiery blast. Chaya keeps flying backwards, stopping near the audience-shielding barrier and bracing herself.
“SUNBEAM! SUNBEAM!!” the Red Knight shouts, firing glowing beam after glowing beam towards Chaya as she descends. Who easily dodges the repeated straight-line attacks, gathering her ki into a rather large energy orb overhead.

“HAAAAA!” Chaya roars, throwing the massive orb at her foe. Who also flies to the side by flapping her spectral wings, avoiding the energy orb. However, instead of it slamming into the energy barrier, Chaya redirects it up into the air. The Red Knight doesn't notice this, her attention focused on your protege as she fires another beam of sunlight. Which Chaya once more narrowly dodges while simultaneously locking her Sky Cannon in place for later. “Too slow!”
“Grrrrr! Fine, try this! FIRE STORM!!” the Red Knight bellows, and Chaya vanishes. Flames consume her and all the space around her, making the attack completely impossible to avoid. But it doesn't keep the young Saiyan down, Chaya flying out of the surging flames seemingly unharmed. “Tch! BLADE BARRIER!!”

Once more Chaya is trapped by a wide-area attack. This one summoned a mass of spinning, razor-sharp blades in a dome around her, seemingly trapping Chaya in place. Before she can decide on how to handle this, however, the crimson warrior points a finger at Chaya. And you hear it as well.

“GYAAAAH!!” Chaya cries out in pain, clutching her head as the ringing fills the air around her. You wince in pain as well, but gritting your teeth fight through the sudden pain you feel as well to better guide her.
“CHAYA! Explosive Wave, NOW!” you think to her, unsure if she'd be able to hear your voice. Which does seem to be the correct call, as with a roar her golden energy explodes out from her. Blasting the blades away and allowing Chaya to resume moving. And not a second too soon, as the crimson-armored warrior fires another beam of sunlight at her. “Good, keep moving. Stay mobile, don't let her pin you down.”

“Easy for you to say!” she retorts through clenched teeth, drawing back both fists and unleashing a barrage of Blast Punches. Forcing the now on the ground knight to move, running away from the attacks while firing beams of light up at Chaya. The two don't manage to hit each other for over a minute, both staying on the move and narrowly avoiding each other's attacks. Then Chaya sees her opening, leaning a bit forward as she unleashes energy beams from her eyes. “Haaaa!”

“Too slow.” the Red Knight says, rolling aside and dodging the beams. However, before she can rise up to her feet, Chaya redirects the energy attacks. They turn at a ninety degree angle, firing right at her side. But before the beams can pierce her, one of the spectral angels around her takes the attack instead. Yet it doesn't stop the beams, forcing the red warrior to raise her shield against the beams. Which blocks her eye lasers, Chaya ending the attack after a few seconds when its clear she can't pierce through the shield. As she does you see the younger woman wince, shaking her head a bit before refocusing on the knight below. Who has risen back to her feet, seemingly struggling to catch her breath. Chaya hasn't won yet, but clearly is wearing her armored foe down.

“Now's your chance Chaya, go for the Big Finisher!” you tell your fighter, Chaya nodding as she hears you. Immediately she puts more distance between herself and the Red Knight by flying up into the air, higher than the level of the highest seats as she raises both arms.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40RhagCCKSY

“This one's for each and every one of you out there!” Chaya calls out to the crowd while raising both hands over her head, energy flowing out from her. Her ki begins coalescing into a massive orb, growing larger than herself, then doubling her own size in a matter of seconds. “For every one of you cheering me on! I'll win this one for you!”
“CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA!!” the crowd all chants her name, then you see something. Her attack's growth begins accelerating, the orb growing even faster than it had been. And for a moment you think you catch a glimpse or two of energy flowing from the cheering crowd up into her growing attack.

“There it is, Chaya's going for her signature Big Finish technique!” Dallas shouts, the crimson-armored woman snarling as she draws her right arm back. “But can she ready the attack before her foe can retaliate?”
“SUNBEAM!” the crimson warrior roars, firing another beam of sunlight as Chaya redirects her Sky Cannon orb, directing it to fire into her foe's blast of light energy. The two energies clash, neither overpowering the other as Chaya's attack continues to grow larger and larger. Then the Red Knight's attack ends, forcing her to roll out of the way as the Sky Cannon beam continues now-unhindered and slams into the ground where she'd been a moment ago. “Tch!”

Chaya keeps her on the run, forcing her to dodge the pursuing beam back and forth across the ground until the knight suddenly trips. Falling to the ground she's unable to do anything other than turtle up behind her shield, using it to block the massive, weighty beam slamming down onto her.

“Just like that, keep her pinned down.” you cheer Chaya on, watching carefully from all angles as her attack grows larger than the entire stadium below. The crowd has no concern for their own safety, continuing to cheer on their former champion as she then starts condensing that massive amount of energy.
“HRRRAAAAAAA!” Chaya roars, struggling against the sheer volume of power she's gathered as she slowly condenses it. Seconds tick past, the attack growing smaller and more lethal by the second. Until her Sky Cannon burns itself out, leaving Chaya once more exposed. “HAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

“Oh no you don't!” the Red Knight snarls, rising back to her feet and leveling her empty right hand directly at Chaya just as she condenses that massive attack down to the size of her own head. “DIE!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLDtlBlSLxA

“Chaya, move!” you shout in her ear, the fighter too distracted by her own efforts to notice what her foe is doing. Which is why you're here watching over her, covering her back and keeping her safe. “Do it, now!”
“SUNBURST!!” the Red Knight roars, blindingly bright light exploding out from where Chaya was floating. All of your screens turn a blinding white, again forcing you to avert your eyes. But as the light fades, you and everyone else sees that Chaya is no longer there. “Wh-What?”

And standing there, right in front of the Red Knight inside her guard is Chaya, holding that massive energy blast between her hands. Time seems to stop, then the armored woman tries to stop Chaya.

“S-!” she starts to say, trying desperately to unleash something, anything to counter what's about to happen to her. But it's far, far too late for her to avert her fate now.
“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, thrusting both hands forward into the Red Knight's chest, physically slamming her attack point-blank into the woman. All of that condensed power explodes, consuming both women instantly as the entire space of the arena within the energy barriers protecting the crowd is absorbed into the blast as well. Again everything goes white, but this time you don't look away. Your eyes remain focused, staring into the screens for any hint of Chaya's presence as more than half of the feeds are cut. Including from her own scouter, which is no doubt destroyed as well.

“WOAH! What a dramatic finale!” Dallas shouts over the cheers of the crowd, whose applause reaches a fever pitch. But as the light begins to fade, the crowd goes silent to see what the results are. The light fades away, revealing that not only is Chaya still standing, but so is the other woman! Both women's armor are broken and tattered, flesh scorched and burned yet neither has fallen. Which shocks you, you'd never expected her to be able to withstand that. Just how strong IS she? “They're both still alive! Looks like this fight isn't over yet!”

The crowd roars at this proclamation, and with you no longer able to hear her through a scouter connection you can only watch as the two of them clearly exchange words. Then both fighters take fighting stances, clearly ready to continue fighting.

“Now's your chance! Go Chaya!” you think to the younger Saiyan woman. “Put everything you've got in this final rush!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-QMpXKgzwE

“HAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars in response, kicking off the ground into a massive overhand right aimed at the knight's head. Who raises both arms up to block, ready to put her entire body against the blow. Leaving her lower body wide open, which Chaya takes advantage of. Her right is a feint, pulling back at the last second to instead drive a powerful left uppercut clean into her guts. Chaya strikes her so hard that a shock wave blasts out from the woman's back, distorting the air behind her as she coughs up blood, doubling over from the pain. Dropping her guard. “HRRAAAA!!”

Capitalizing on the opening Chaya fires off a devastating right cross to her jaw. You don't need the scouter's audio to tell that the attack absolutely shattered the woman's jaw, it hanging unnaturally as her head snaps to the side. Right into a left turning kick from Chaya, the woman's shin smashing the godling's nose again in another spray of blood as the Red Knight falls to the ground. Immediately she tries bringing her arms up, trying to guard herself against the barrage she knows is coming. But Chaya doesn't play her game, instead grabbing her by the foot and swinging her up and OVER her own head. Smashing her down on the opposite side of where she'd been, the knight landing face-down into the crater floor.

“HRRAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, swinging her around over and over again, slamming the woman into the ground a half dozen times before pitching her straight up into the air. Only to teleport right back to her side, slamming a two-handed axe handle into her face, sending her flying back down towards the ground. Just to teleport right back to her side again, this time driving her knee up into the woman's unprotected spine to the roars of the crowd.

“CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA!!” the people cheer as the Saiyan unleashes her ferocity, again slamming both fists down into her face to send the woman crashing down to one of the few remaining arena tiles. Which shatters beneath the heavy blow, but the woman's still not done yet. Chaya pounces, taking top mount as she draws her right fist back. This fight is over.

But clearly, no one told Chaya.

“HRRAAAA! HAAAAA! HYAAAA!!” she roars, shouting with each heavy, crushing blow she lands on the defenseless woman's face. Slamming her head into the cracked tile over and over again as the crowd roars, the young Saiyan is seemingly invigorated by their cheers, swinging faster and faster until with a final punch, the Red Knight's head can't take the abuse and splatters. Bone and gore go flying from the pressure of Chaya's last right. The audience roars in approval, Chaya rising back up to her feet and raising her blood-soaked fist high in triumph. The crowd goes wild as you sigh out, relieved that she won but are unable to NOT feel sorry for the other fighter. Seeing things like this, doing things like this to people, it just isn't for you.

-Meanwhile, back at Karn's perspective-

“It's over.” you say calmly as Chaya pounces, unleashing a barrage of faster and faster punches to the downed woman. And sure enough, after a few seconds of sustained beating the godling's head finally gives out, exploding in a spray of gore. Your blood-soaked daughter rises back up to her feet, raising a fist to the audience's roaring approval and applause.
“Chaya has done it! The undefeated Red Knight has been soundly defeated, executed by the fists of our challenger!” Dallas shouts into the microphone for the audience across the universe. “With a dominant showing, there is now no one standing in the way of her long-awaited rematch with our champion Tanya!”

“Sis is the best!” Okira says, raising her fist up in the same way. And Chaya sees you all as she turns to the crowd, smiling a bit wider as she sees her youngest sister copying her from atop your shoulders. “That other guy didn't stand a chance!”
“No, that was a lot closer than it looked.” Chilli says, you feeling Okira's attention turn to her older brother. But she's not the only one.
“What do you mean?” Broly asks him, sounding surprisingly concerned.
“That last attack she tried. If Chaya hadn't used Instant Transmission right then and avoided it, that attack would have cooked her. She'd have lost control of all of that power, and it would have blown up right in her face.”
“It was a risky move. But it paid off.” Broly says, your oldest turning back to his sister a moment then vanishing. No doubt returning back home to New Salda himself.

“Want me to take you home?” you ask Chilli, who shakes his head and declines. “Alright, tell Megumin and Meloka Wolback hey and that we'd love for you all to come down anytime.”
“I will.” he tells you, nodding once before turning to his mother. The two of them talk as you turn back to your oldest, drinking in the cheers of her crowd.

“You alright kiddo?” you ask her telepathically. “Need Caulifla to-?”
“No way, I'm fine.” she replies almost immediately. “My armor got it worse than I did. Zarbon's gonna be annoyed it's busted, but he's already got several more for me lined up.”
“Alright. Coming home for supper, or staying here?” you ask, the conversation quickly devolving into normal conversation right up until you all are about to leave. “Nice job out there today, you've definitely improved kiddo. Keep it up.”
“I will!” she replies enthusiastically, her joy bleeding through the mental link before you both end it and you return home with the rest of your family.

With that show over, life quickly returned back to normal. For the next several months, Chilli would bring his wife and daughter over at least once a week if not more, coming over to spend a few hours and a meal with you all. But to your genuine surprise, the one who doted on young Meloka Wolback the most wasn't you or even Meloka, but Towa. Who absolutely adored the little girl, the half Crimson Demon also loving 'Auntie Towa' as Future Chaya'd once more started teasing her. Life was good, the days passed filled with training, friends, family, and more training. Until one day while you're sparring with several of your students at once via multiform, when suddenly-

“Hold on, is that-?” you wonder to yourself, suddenly feeling a familiar power approaching your planet. None of your people react yet, but when one of your bodies glance aside over to Meloka she can no doubt sense it as well. “You feel that?”
“Yes, it's unmistakably him.” your wife replies telepathically, the two of you sharing a worried look. He's coming.
“Dad, Momma! Did you feel that too?” Caulifla shouts out, drawing several eyes as she flies over towards you both. “Freeza's coming!”

Her sudden shout gets everyone's attention, worried murmurs rippling through the mass of your students. So you take the moment to address them all at once.

“Yes, Lord Freeza's on his way.” you tell them. “But he's still several hours out yet, at the rate he's moving. So get your asses back to work!”
“SIR!” they all shout, everyone redoubling their training. You focus on your work teaching them, putting thoughts of Emperor Freeza away in the back of your mind until later when he actually arrives. You fully focus on training your students, spending the rest of the training time focused wholly on them. Then, when it's over and you've dismissed them all, you then reach out to King Vegeta IV with what you know.

“Hey, Vegeta. Did you know Freeza is on his way over?” you think to him, the king immediately answering you.
“Yes, I've known for about a week.” he replies, then after a moment adds. “
