You all decide to meet up at 11:00, but you and Jake shows up at the mall 30 minutes early, mostly to catch up and look at the mall again.

Aside from his hair being slightly longer, Jake hasn’t really changed much, with him still wearing thin sport shirt and shorts.

15 minutes before 11 is when Lily and Sarah shows up. Lily wears a black dress with calf length skirt, while Sarah wears a sweater and jeans.

Nathan shows up 2 minutes early, wearing a grey zip up hoodie and black pants.

The group decides to walk around the mall, exploring the newly installed restaurants and seeing which ones still remained.

For lunch, they settle on a Japanese buffet.
While the sushi seemed too dodgy for you, the cooked fishes are pretty decent.

According to Nathan, the salmon sashimi sucks anyway.

Slices of beef and pork were passable.
A little too chewy, but considering the price, edible is good enough.

What’s really impressed you are the soups and omelets.

Despite everything being so mediocre, this restaurant manage to churn out fluffy omelets with a subtle touch of sweetness.

The claw soups are pretty incredible as well, having a surprisingly large amount of dense meat in them, alongside a decently salty soup.

She’s quite taken back by all of this, and is unsure about what to do. She says she might consider it, but for now, she needs some time to think about it.

It’s been several hours now.
The group is hanging out at a coffee shop, talking about their lives and what they’re up to.

Jake recently graduated and works as an IT guy. It’s pretty chill at times, and there’s plenty of office shenanigans.

Lily and Sarah works as accountants. Apparently they work mostly at night.

Nathan is working in a bar.
You don’t push any further about what he does.

After a while, you and Nathan leave the coffee shop to go to the bathroom nearby.

You notice someone sitting on a bench next to trashcans. He’s drinking soup out of some plastic cup. From his large backpack, and multiple pieces of clothing on him, he’s likely homeless. There’s a few small patches of facial hair on his mouth and chin.

Both you and this homeless guy stare at each other briefly.

His jaw looks familiar to you.

It started out as phone sex, but once she realized that your dad works at the company same his father at, but in a higher ranking position, she worked out a deal - keep her dad employed and she’ll do discounted calls.
