Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The Queen of New Salda tournament took place, dozens of women competing to claim the title. After all the twists and turns of the battle, after all was said and done, one of Karn's students, the Stand-wielding Cenoria, was declared the winner and first Queen of New Salda. After the tournament, life settled back down. Months passed rather uneventfully, Karn growing to enjoy the peace he'd won. But then, one day after training the students, he suddenly received a surprise call from Arctus.

“Karn, are you there?” Freeza's cousin Arctus thinks to you, catching you by surprise. “Can you hear me?”
“Arctus? Of course, what's going on?” you reply, confused. “Did something happen?”
“You could say that. My trap worked.” he exclaims, his excitement coursing through the link even though you have no idea what he's talking about. “We got 'em. I know where those Remnant bastards are hiding.”

As he tells you this, suddenly everything stops. Your heart skips a beat, realizing that there is now a real chance you all will be able to finally take them out once and for all! But the good news doesn't stop there.

“I've just arrived at Planet Hoven, the world they're hiding out on.” he tells you. “But it gets even better. Guess who we managed to pull from a security camera's memory?”
“Who?” you ask, Meloka looking over at you confused. So you telepathically add her to the mental link, just in time.

“Babidi. He was seen there with some of their leaders recently.” he thinks, your jaw dropping. This is it! “I'm just outside the planet's atmosphere now, my Vulture Droids and Tekkadan's mobile suits have the planet surrounded. Nothing's getting off there alive.”
“Then what are we waiting for?” you reply, bringing your right hand to your forehead immediately. But then he stops you, continuing to talk.
“I've got them surrounded, get everything and everyone you need for this one.” he tells you seriously. “King Cold is coming along as well, once you're ready reach out, I'll have you and whoever you're bringing along arrive simultaneously and we can begin our attack. You have five minutes to gather everything you need for this.”

He then ends the mental link, you and Meloka sharing a look. This is big.

“What's goin' on?” Broly asks you, clearly sensing something wrong from both of your expressions. “Mom, Dad? What's happening?”

“They found Babidi.”

“Do you want me an' Cauli along for this one too?” he asks you seriously, no sense of eagerness or fear in his tone. “Or should we hold down everything here so you two don't have to worry about protecting us?”

He's clearly thinking through this seriously, knowing full well that despite his power he could end up being a liability. But this brings up a serious point. If Babidi's working with the Remnants, those Lin Kuei with their magic and Stands will be a much greater threat. But is this something you can do alone?

"I need you two to come with us." you tell him, Meloka nodding as she agrees with you. "Take Caulifla and go to the ship, get all of your weapons and both your mother and I's as well, and bring them back."

"Yes sir!" he replies, immediately blasting off. Less than a second later Caullifla takes off as well, flying off after him as Meloka turns to you.
“Who else should we ask along?” she asks you.
“Everyone.” you reply, closing your eyes and reaching out telepathically. You need the best of the best on this mission, so you reach out to the strongest of your friends and allies here on this world. “Everyone, listen up! Arctus found Babidi and we're about to attack. I'm leaving in four minutes, get everything you need and meet me here at my ki signature.”

Everyone answers in the affirmative, everyone except for Ubo that is.

“I'm not on world at the moment, but I will meet you all there as soon as possible.” he replies. “I'm closer to Arctus than you all, so it will be faster for me to go straight there.”
“Understood. Be careful, and don't get too close until all of us appear.” you reply. “We don't want him to know we're coming until the last possible second.”
“That's a good plan, I agree.” Ubo replies, ending the mental connection.
“Arctus really found him.” Meloka says, but her expression is worried. “But why is he there?”
“Why would our enemies gather together? Probably for safety.” you answer her, trying to dispel your own doubts. But something feels wrong. You aren't sure what, but you have the feeling that you're missing something.

“Here Dad!” Broly calls out, your adoptive son flying down with a whole mess of items held in his shield as he holds it like a bowl.
“We brought everything!” Caulifla calls out, the two setting his shield down on the ground then she unslings your sword and hammer off her back. “Here Daddy.”
“Thanks kiddo.” you say, putting the weapons on in their usual positions on your back. You feel more relieved with the weight of the weapons on your back, then look over as your wife channels her ki into the twin maces, dozens of ki needles protruding through the metal head and turning both into menacing morning stars. “Been awhile since I've seen you use those.”

“I was thinking the same thing.” King Vegeta says, he and Queen Cenoria descending down beside the four of you. “We all had better be ready for a battle.”
“I-I'll do everything I can to stop him.” Cenoria says, her Stand Velvet Green momentarily appearing behind them both. “What's all this?”
“All sorts'a stuff I picked up on different missions.” Caulifla says, picking up a couple of the seven golden bottles and handing one to each of them. “Take these. They can heal any wounds you have, no matter how severe.”

“Thank you, Caulifla.” King Vegeta says, taking one and holding it to his body with his tail. Cenoria watches him and does the same, holding it to her side identically.
“Handing out healing items, huh?” Sarada says, she and Tatsu dropping down next. “Better have enough for everyone.”
“I have five more.” she says, holding two out to them. Who each take one as well, then Caulifla takes a couple steps back and hits herself with her Clothes Beam. “Alright, now I'm ready. How about you Triumph?”

“KIIIIIIIIII!” her Stand caws as it appears, the non-Stand users besides Meloka and Broly looking confused. So you decide to address this immediately.
“The reason I wanted you on this mission as well Cenoria is they're more than likely going to have several other Stand users in their ranks.” you tell her, then look down at your right hand. “And my Divine Dragon Force still hasn't recovered yet. So dealing with them will be up to you and Caulifla, along with King Cold.”
“Wait. Did you just say King Cold has one of those Stands?” King Vegeta asks, a hint of worry in his tone.
“Yes. While his isn't directly powerful, it should give us all an advantage.” you say, quickly explaining what it did when to the gravity when you fought him a few months ago. “So, he should be able to pin the more troublesome enemies down.”

“Sorry I'm late.” Bardock calls out, dropping from the sky down beside you all. But as you do, you feel your eyes widen in surprise. He's transformed! Crimson fur and long, black hair going down around his shoulders, he's absolutely radiating with power. “Now, let's go beat the shit out of these bastards.”
“We're here as well.” Nappa calls out, he and surprisingly Tunnip both landing down. He's in his Ultra Ascended form already, body absolutely exploding with muscle as Tunnip's Super Saiyan 3 hair and slimmer body stand in stark contrast. “Let's do this.”

“Looks like the crew's all here.” you say, looking over everyone present. Broly lifts up his now-emptied shield and holds it in his left arm, sword still in the shield until he needs it. Caulifla's standing in her silvery metallic armor, spear in one hand and sword of fire in her left. Leyas and Sarada both standing calmly, not yet transformed along with King Vegeta and Cenoria, a stark contrast to Bardock, Nappa, Tunnip and your wife Meloka. This team is packing so much power, not to mention King Cold, Arctus and Cooler too, that you doubt whatever Babidi's planned will be enough to stop you all. This ends today.

But is there anything else? Any last-minute preparations you need to do before heading off?

But before you go chasing down this wizard, there's one more ally you need to reach out to. So, you focus, and with a thought think out to your firstborn son, Chilli.

“Hey kiddo, we have news.” you reach out to him. “If you're free and can get here in the next minute, we're going to kill that bastard Babidi.”
“The wizard who unleashed that giant demon Trigon?” he asks, you sensing his worry. “The one King Cold's been hunting down to prevent that monster, Buu or whatever from being revived?”
“That's the one.” you answer. “You in?”
“Give me thirty seconds.” he replies, ending the mental link. Everyone's looking to you, you holding up a hand.
“We're missing one last member.” you tell them. “Just a few more seconds and he'll be here.”

As soon as you say this, suddenly crystals begin forming on the ground beside you. Everyone watches in surprise as it rapidly expands, growing up into a statue of your son. Then after about ten seconds it forms a perfect likeness of him, the statue shatters to reveal your son standing before you all.

“Sorry that took so long.” he replies, you seeing the giant azure, dragon bone sword resting on his shoulder as his other sword is strapped to his back, staff in his left hand. But that's not all that's in his left, you seeing him holding an armful of dragon bones. Each one is wrapped in leather around the grips, your son smirking as you see this. “The one I made you was such a success, I knew I had to make more. Didn't think they'd get used so early though.”
“What're those little things?” Sarada asks, looking them over curiously with her brother Leyas. “Feelin' nostalgic for the village life?”
“If anyone attacks you with magic, simply channel your ki into these bones and swing them at the spell.” your son tells her, setting the dozen bone knives on the ground before turning to you. “We have time to show them Dad?”

“I think we do.” you say, drawing the one from your boot with your left hand, holding it in a reverse grip. He smirks, drawing his staff overhead and immediately dropping it down while calling out his spell. You swing the bone knife directly into the blade of shadows, the blade flashing brignt for a moment as it completely erases the spell. Everyone shouts out in surprise as you simply END the attack, then after a second of looking at each other everyone takes one and sticks them into their armor somewhere. Bardock copies you, except he simply stabs it into his boot and not into a custom sheath. “Now, everyone ready?”

“Ready!” comes the reply, you raising your right hand to your forehead. Everyone moves to you, touching you or touching onto someone who's touching you to make sure they're all brought along as you reach out to Arctus telepathically.
“We're all ready to go.” you think to him, connecting to Freeza's cousin. “Are you all ready?”
“We are more than ready, General Karn.” King Cold replies, his mind joining both of yours. “Nephew, are you ready?”
“Leaving the Isaribi now.” he replies, then after a couple more seconds continues 'speaking'. “Entering Planet Hoven's atmosphere now. Touching down on the planet in three, two.... NOW!”

As he sends you the message you focus on his ki, and with your full focus teleport. Your Instant Transmission sends you directly to Arctus's side, you bringing your family and friends all to the planet. One instant you are all on New Salda, and the next everything changes. You find yourselves in a massive, still-smoking crater next to Arctus as he rises up to his feet. Then beside you all King Cold also appears, his right hand resting on his oldest son Cooler's shoulder while Under Pressure looms eerily over him. King Cold is in his fourth form, Cooler in his fifth as they show up ready for war.

“Time to end this bastard, once and for all.” King Cold declares. Your wife immediately activates her Aura Shell, golden aura blazing up and out into a dome several dozen yards across to sense if anything approaches as you focus your ki sense. You can sense hundreds of surprisingly powerful creatures, but they seem somewhat spaced out and not any sort of attack force. Further away, towards the mountain peaks you can see from the inside of the crater you sense a cluster of a couple hundred weaker powerlevels moving about, along with several many times greater. Some even approaching Chilli's transformed strength, which is worrying.

“Their fortress is inside the mountains ahead.” Arctus tells you all, everyone turning towards them as you all prepare to move. But how will you do this?

How will you all proceed?

"King Cold, allow us to handle the frontal assault." you say, drawing the emperor's father's gaze. "We'll make a lot of noise, allowing you to take Chilli and Cooler deeper below with Instant Transmission and hunt that bastard down. My boy's the best wizard I know and can probably handle any of Babidi's tricks. If we don't get that bastard, then this is all for nothing."
"Excellent thinking, General." King Cold says after a few seconds' thought. "I concur. General Karn, King Vegeta, I'll leave the assault to you. Son, Chilli, you are both with me. Once King Vegeta gives us the signal, Cooler, you will take us down below. Understood?"

"Of course, father." Cooler replies with a bow, you and King Vegeta sharing a nod.
“Everyone, power up. We're going in loud.” King Vegeta declares, then in a golden flash powers up into his Primal form. You immediately take your Ascended Berserker form as well, everyone else powering up into their strongest forms as you and the king launch yourselves up and out of the crater targeting the giant frozen mountains. Which gives you the first good look at this Planet Hoven, a snow-covered, empty plain until the mountains rise up out of the ground. As the two of you lead the charge, first to catch up is Arctus in his fifth form.

“Leave it to you to come up with such a plan.” he says, the three of you leading the swarm of Saiyans. But as you get closer to the mountain, suddenly dozens of energy beams are fired down at you all, mostly from the peak. “Evasive maneuvers!”
“No, I got this! BARRIER!” you roar, energy exploding out from you in a giant emerald sphere. Your energy shield protects you all from the incoming blasts, the energy looking quite familiar. “Tch. Covenant weapons.”
“Everyone, stay together!” King Vegeta orders, then immediately flies up and out of your shield. He gathers his golden energy, then with a roar fires a massive energy orb towards the mountain with a roar of “Big Bang Attack!”

His blast blitzes towards the rise, striking and detonating the entire mountain peak! His attack destroys it, sending chunks of rock flying in all directions. The blasts stop, you dropping your shield after a couple seconds and Vegeta flies back down beside you and Arctus. No more attacks fire upon you all as you approach the devastated mountain peak, you flying down first and landing in what appears to be some sort of build interior remains. Looks like their base is here after all. But immediately your instincts scream at you that you're in danger, so without hesitation you focus your full power into your Unmovable Energy Body. A split-second later you feel something striking your back in two points, but your energy keeps the Covenant Energy Blade from piercing into you.

“Wh-What?” an unfamiliar voice asks, shocked that it's attack didn't work. “How-?”
“BASTARD!!” Meloka roars, you sensing her drop down as you lower the power invested in your Energy Body. Turning just in time to see your wife flatten the mecha Sangheili beneath her twinned morning stars, crushing it like an empty can. But as she lands, you see a shimmer in the air behind her. So, without hesitation you point out towards it with your left hand's first finger, firing off a Death Beam over her shoulder. You feel your beam strike something, piercing through it for several seconds before ending your attack. As you do so the invisible Sangheili becomes visible, a massive hole in its neck as its body drops to the ground. “Thanks hun.”

“You too.” you tell her, everyone else landing around by you all.
“Tch. Splitjaw bastards.” Leyas says as Sarada snarls. “Let's destroy these assholes once and for all.”
“Agreed.” Nappa says, suddenly swinging an absolutely massive right fist backwards. Smashing something invisible back against the remains of a wall, another invisible splitjaw appearing but this one doesn't have a head. “I don't want to see any more of these things after today.”

“Then let's stop standing around chatting, and get to destroying these things.” King Vegeta says, raising a hand towards the nearby door and fires a weak beam of energy. It blasts the heavy door off of its track, crashing down into the room beyond with a heavy thud. The moment it lands, a swarm of those damned pink crystals all shoot out of the ground directly at him.

“VELVET GREEN!” Cenoria shouts, her Stand's large body appearing between her husband and the attacks. The crystals strike Velvet Green's body instead of the king's, seemingly shattering against the air to those who can't perceive the truth.
“Thank you.” he tells her as Leyas and Sarada rush the opening. But as they do, you watch in horror as they're suddenly frozen solid! A wave of freezing air blasts out of the doorway, you watching frost form on Cenoria's Stand as a dreadful realization dawns.
“Everyone back up! NOW!” you shout as ice begins spreading across the ground, having encountered the first of who knows how many Stand users. You can't sense anyone directly beyond the shadowed doorway, so it is no doubt one of their cyborgs.

"Cauli, you're up kiddo." you say, turning to your daughter. Who nods, stepping forward as her phoenix-like Stand Triumph materials behind her. "Thaw them out and cook those bastards."
"Leave it to me!" she says confidently, stepping forward as flames begin leaking from its mouth. Go Triumph!”
“KIIIIIIIIIII!!” it bellows, dousing both Sarada and Tatsu in its flames. Her onslaught covers both of them in fire as it also pours into the room beyond. You watch as the metal doorway begins glowing brighter and brighter red as Caulifla heats it up. Her flames quickly overpower the ice, rapidly thawing both of the demonic Saiyans.

“HAAAA!!” they both shout simultaneously, their auras shattering the remaining ice shrouding both of them. Immediately both of them leap away, jumping out of the flames and letting Caulifla keep working. You all watch as she keeps pouring fire into the room beyond, then a cherry red machine Sangheili charges forward with a strange bird-like being perched on its shoulder.
“I won't let you kill-!” it shouts, trying to charge through the flames. But before it's even closed half the distance between itself and Caulifla, a couple dozen of Meloka's Ki Needles suddenly fire out past Triumph and impale the mechanical Sangheili. “Wait, wha-?”

Her needles all then explode, ripping the mechanized terror to shreds in a fiery blast.

“Thanks Momma!” Caulifla says with a wide grin, your wife smiling back and patting her on the head. Which looks slightly comedic, you realizing your daughter's now as tall as her mother.
“Let's keep going.” you say, Energy Body active as you step through the glowing doorway. The ambient red of heated metal plus your personal protection's glow illuminate the room beyond, revealing it to be a staircase heading down deeper into the mountain. But you get the feeling that something's watching you from down deeper, beyond your sight. Whatever it is isn't friendly, but you doubt anyone allied with the Remnants and that bastard Babidi would be.

How do you proceed?

The issue with it is that it takes a bit of time to scan with ki senses, then fire off Death Beams one by one. The objective of the saiyan team here is to go in hard, fast and loud, creating a distraction for Cooler and Cold. If we pussy-foot around at the doorway, spending a couple of minutes just sniping minions one by one (without taking out anyone actually significant), then we fail in that objective.

For a moment you consider continuing down the staircase, but then stop in place.

"Karn? Is everything okay?" Arctus asks, you not looking back but slowly backing up and out of the stairwell. No one moves into your way, allowing you to back out before you turn to face everyone.
"I just had an idea." you say, smirk coming to your face. “Why should we fight how THEY want us to?”

A chorus of “Huh?” and “What do you mean?” answer your question, but looking to Nappa and Leyas, they understand. All three of you gather in the seeming center of the room, drawing your right fists up.

“We'll go our OWN WAY!” the three of your shout, slamming your fists into the floor together. The tremendous force of your punches shatters the floor in a wide hole, the three of your dropping down into the room below. As you fall, you see around two score or more of the Lin Kuei metal men all aiming what seem to be Covenant weaponry at the stairwell, you seeing it curve out and up to the right from the room below. No doubt meeting up with the stairwell you'd peered down earlier beyond where you can see. But the metal soldiers are caught by complete surprise, you stomping down to the ground and nearly crushing a half-dozen of them on impact. Meanwhile Nappa full-on belly flops, crushing more than a dozen beneath his massive frame and Leyas drops fists-first onto several more.

“What the hell?!”
“Son of a-!”
“Shit! SHIT!!”
“Aww maaaan.”

The cyber Lin Kuei all try turning their weapons on the three of you, but as they do, the rest of your allies drop down through the hole and start attacking them as well.

“HAAA!” Arctus shouts, firing a Death Slash through several of them, cutting them in half while Meloka fires off another couple dozen Ki Needles through several more. Sarada gathers her ki into both fists and simply dives down the same way Leyas did and blasts five or six into pieces. Caulifla fires a bolt of lightning from her spear directly at a cluster, striking one directly as the strays arc and strike others. Chilli fires a Death Slash-like wave from his sword you'd given him, the blue-green energy slicing through four then cutting deep into the floor before it vanishes. King Vegeta brings up the rear with Queen Cenoria, both firing off a few blasts to cut down the last ones standing before they all land on the ground by the three of you.

“An excellent strategy.” Arctus says to you with a bit of a grin. “Simple, but effective. Let's keep moving and push as deep as we can!”
“Right!” Broly shouts, lifting his body-sized stone shield overhead before swinging it down with a roar. “GRRAAAAA!!!”

Your son shatters the floor beneath him, diving shield-first through the floor as he takes the initiative. Immediately you turn, following him down into the newly-made hole to back him up. As you go down, you see a few shimmers in the air which can only mean one thing. But your son also sees them coming, drawing his sword and channeling his ki into it to create his own personal blizzard. The swirling storm freezes the air around the dozen or so approaching Sangheili, revealing them for your son to go on the attack. His storm ends as he then swings the sword, cutting down the closest of them with a downward strike then twisting into a horizontal slash through two more.

“HRRAAA!!” you roar, closing the distance and grabbing two of them going for your son's back by their heads. They both swing at you with their swords, Energy Blades glancing off of your Energy Body before you crush both of their heads together. Oil and other unidentified fluids spray out from between your hands, you then dropping the bodies as you feel another two hits striking you in the back. One lands high across your right shoulder as another hits just above your left hip. Without looking you then spin clockwise, right forearm slamming into something. But as you keep spinning you see the other one, driving your left fist straight through its chest. The one you'd made holy tries swinging its sword again, blade glancing harmlessly off the side of your head.

“Wh-What?!” it exclaims, you reaching forward with your right hand on its right side then tear the machine clean in two. As its pieces fall, you look around and see what everyone else is doing. Meloka smashes two separate ones' heads to pieces with her energy-infused morning stars, Nappa holding one over his head and bringing it down, his head driving straight through it and splitting that machine in half. This floor's defenders all fall to your combined assault just as easily the last, you all landing on the floor littered with machine parts together.

“Heh. This is too easy.” Nappa says, and as soon as he does your instincts shout out at you in warning.
“SHADOW WALTZ!” you hear someone shout, somewhere from your left. But before you can move, suddenly you're frozen in place! Your eyes widen in surprise, every one of your allies are also seemingly frozen! Then you realize something else, everyone's shadows have transformed, turning into monstrous beings whose hands have grasped their bodies in their evil grips!

“The hell?” you mutter through clenched teeth, unable to move despite your prodigious power. You hear several similar complaints from everyone else, then you notice a soft chuckling.

“Heh heh heeh. You thought yourselves sooooo strong.” a dimunitive figure says, walking around into your field of view. You recognize one of the Covenant's fodder races, the little being only coming up to Meloka's waist. “But now you're all helpless before me! I'll teach you all the consequences of defying the great-!”

“Dark Magic: Shadow Step.” your oldest-born son says, you see him then somehow disappear into his own shadow. Which remains bound around the space he was standing in, while he steps up and out of the little creature's own. Who's too distracted by seeing Chilli disappear to notice your son behind him, your son decapitating him with a disdainful backhanded sword slash. The being's head falls to the ground, Chilli stomping it to scrap as suddenly all of your shadows return to normal. Chilli's floating shadow, however, seemingly walks over across the ground to him, reuniting with his feet before going back to mirroring him. Which is when you notice something else unusual that you hadn't before, that sword doesn't cast a shadow. “Everybody okay?”

You all make sure that you are fine before readying to plunge yourselves deeper into the fortress. But before you do, you ponder your strategy for a moment.

For a moment you ponder changing the strategy, but you decide against it. After all, why fix what isn't broken? If you all keep fighting as a unit, pushing deeper and deeper, you'll keep anyone from noticing King Cold, Cooler, and...Wait. Why is Chilli here? He was supposed to be with King Cold, how did he get here? You look over to him, your son meeting your gaze and immediately thinks to you.

“King Cold sent me after you all.” he replies to your question before you can even ask it. “He said that he and Cooler could take him themselves, and for me to back you up. Looks like he was right.”
“Can't argue that.” you answer, ending the mental link then addressing everyone aloud. “Everyone ready to keep going?”
“Ready.” comes the unanimous answer, you, Nappa, and Leyas all drawing your right fists up then as one swinging down, again shattering the floor. The three of you drop down into the floor below, several of the Sangheili below immediately drawing their blades and leaping up towards you all.

“Kill 'em all!” Leyas bellows, demonic energy sparking around him as he swings a ki-clad right fist. His punch swings through two of them, shattering one's head and punching through the second's left shoulder down through its torso, splitting it in half. Meanwhile Nappa simply charges chest-first, golden energy sheathing him in his own Energy Body as several immediately try to stab him. But their attacks skate off of him harmlessly, Nappa swinging both arms forward and trapping all the machines in a massive crushing bear hug.

Meanwhile another three are attacking you, their blades again skating harmlessly off of your sheathing energy. You try and fire off your Eye Beams to easily dispatch them, however you didn't put enough behind the attack. So, instead of cutting beams your eyes simply release a blinding flash of light, disorienting both you and the trio trying to attack you. Unluckily for them you recover far quicker, ending the failed attack and quickly dispatching them with your fists before they can regain their sight. The three of you then crash to the ground simultaneously, Nappa releasing his compacted mass of metal bodies to the ground as you see the rest have already been taken care of.

“No Stand user this time.” your daughter says, Queen Cenoria sighing out in relief.
“Thank goodness.” your student-turned-queen says, Vegeta reaching over and grabbing her hand. He whispers something to her, to which she nods seriously.
“Let's keep going.” Arctus says, lowering his hand at the floor. “Everyone hover, I'll show you how it's done.”

You all share confused looks for a moment, you the first to lift up and off of the ground. Everyone else does the same, Arctus focusing and pointing both palms down at the floor. You hear a shearing, groaning noise from the metal, when suddenly the entire floor suddenly drops! The entire thing falls, you hearing several dozen muffled shouts before the floor crashes down atop those trapped below. You hear metal groaning in protest as it is crushed, compacted down as Arctus uses the floor like a giant hammer to smash them all flat.

“Now that's more like it.” he replies with a smirk, looking up towards you. But then his eyes widen, you seeing sudden worry in his expression. Which makes you even more so when he then shouts, “BLUE HAWAII!”
“Happy Hour!” the mechanical dog-looking being suddenly shouts, throwing both hands forward and firing off a liquid-seeming orb directly at you. So you don't move, remaining still until the last second and twisting aside with the movements of the Su Ma. You narrowly avoid grazing the orb, watching it fly past then strike what seems to be some sort of black, bird-like thing with an abnormally long neck. Arctus's Blue Hawaii's attack strikes true, the orb exploding out into a liquid wall expanding out in all directions from the point of impact. It strikes you as well, and at first you don't feel anything. But then it hits you: you're drunk.

Not just any drunk either, you can't even maintain your flying with how disoriented you are. The entire world is swimming around you, a second later you feel something crash against your knees. Focusing, you see that you're on your hands and knees, Arctus standing before you.

“Looks like none of you here could out-drink me.” he says, sounding a bit disappointed as he walks past you. Through the haze you follow his steps, watching as his dog-looking Stand grabs the shadowy bird by its long neck, then snaps it with an audible crack. The noise comes in stereo, you looking over towards the stairwell to your side as you hear the noise come from down there. Alright Blue Hawaii, time to sober everyone back up.”
“LAST CALL!” his Stand bellows, and as he does you feel the inebriated sensation leaving you. Watching with confusion, you see the same blue liquid-seeming substance flowing out from your body towards his Stand. But not just you, it seems everyone got caught in that attack. The streams of blue liquid flow into his Stand, its metal-looking upper body growing more and more muscular and well-defined by the second. What the hell is Arctus's Stand?

“Now, Blue Hawaii! Let's go!” Arctus shouts, his Stand firing off a single punch down into the floor. The heavy blow smashes a hole as wide across as Nappa through both levels of floor, Freeza's cousin and his Stand leaping down into the hole together as you push yourself back up to your feet.
“What the hell?” you mutter, shaking off the lingering effects as you hear the sounds of Arctus and his Blue Hawaii battling below, everyone slowly getting back up to their feet as well.

“That was....Different.” Caulifla says, your daughter looking disturbed by what happened. “His Stand is unlike any I've seen before, it's so strong.”
“It's certainly something.” you say, everyone finally shrugging off the last of that Stand's effects. “Everyone okay?”

You get everyone saying they're fine to continue, you all following after Freeza's cousin. Who, you all see is using a blade of pure azure energy to cut through some sort of energy shield and the heavy blast doors beyond.

“Gotta be something good behind here, for there to be this much security.” he says, not looking back as his Stand watches you all. “We should check it out before heading deeper.”

"Alright everyone, let's protect him until he's through." you say, everyone taking different positions around the now-empty empty room. All entrances are covered by at least two people, you standing by Arctus at the ready for whatever sort of monster, Stand, or mechanical terror awaits you beyond the door. Arctus's saber makes quick work of the door and energy both, cutting down and through it until he passes through the lock in the center of the door. Once through there's a zapping noise, the shield falling away as the door begins sliding open. But as they do, you and Arctus are attacked!

“What the-?” he exclaims, you watching in shock as a grey humanoid form sprints at you directly THROUGH Arctus! You only have a moment to react, but instead of dodging you lunge forward fists-first to try and stop whatever it is. Your fist passes effortlessly through the grey being's head, it sprinting straight through you as well. An icy sensation envelops you, your entire body going numb as you feel your strength crater. Your energy levels collapse, Energy Body shattering around you as you fall to your hands and knees. While dropping you see Arctus has dropped as well, his saber deactivating as it rolls from his limp hands. You try and lift your arms but simply can't, hell you can't even keep your head held high. Looking down at your body, you've lost all of your color. Even your armor and clothes are grayed out as well, if it wasn't for the burn marks on the door remaining fully colored you'd think you had gone colorblind.

Several people are shouting from behind you, but you lack the strength to even so much as look back towards them. You can't even move a finger, all of your strength was just drained away by that grey being.

“Well, well, well. I never expected to catch the 'great' General Karn with my Touch of Grey.” someone says with a surprisingly calm tone, a left hand reaching down and grabbing you by the chin. It tilts your head back, you see a mecha Sangheili's face looking down at you as with its other hand the warrior draws its Energy Blade. “This is for my family, you murderous bastard. Die.”

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

They had found him! Babidi's location had been revealed, Arctus informing Karn to gather everyone ready to attack the Remnants and the wizard Babidi. Karn quickly gathered his allies, everyone armed and ready for war. Arriving on the planet, Karn and King Vegeta led a full-frontal assault, drawing the eyes of the defenders to allow King Cold to sneak below with Cooler's Instant Transmission. Fighting their way through cyber Lin Kuei, cyber Sangheili and several Stand wielders, they finally came to an energy-sealed door. Arctus uses his lightsaber to cut through both then energy and the metal door behind it, then once it opens a grey humanoid being rushes out. It runs through Arctus then Karn, draining his strength. The user followed his Stand out, and as we rejoin Karn the Sangheili grabs you by the jaw and draws his Energy Blade.

“This is for my family, you murderous bastard. Die.” he says, swinging the blade down at your unprotected neck. But as the sword closes in, suddenly you hear a welcome roar.
“GRRROOOOAAAAAAR!!” Divine Dragon Force bellows, exploding out from your right arm and biting down on the Stand user's sword.
“Wh-What?” he shouts, immediately trying to pull his weapon from your powerful Stand's jaws. “You and your Stand should both be incapacitated, what is this?”
“RRRAAAAA!!” your Stand snarls, letting go just as the Sangheili pulls back harder, the user tripping and falling backwards. Your Stand lunges after him, but is just out of range. So it turns back to you, trying to get you moving.

“Don't just sit there, now's your chance!” Divine Dragon Force tells you. “Get up, hurry! We can kill him now, before he drains everyone's strength!”
“Touch of Grey, come back!” the Sangheili shouts, scrambling and trying to get back to his feet. “HURRY!”
“Now Karn! RISE!!” your Stand shouts, a note of worry in its voice as it sees behind you. No doubt that Stand is rushing back as fast as it charged you, if it hits you now that your Stand has reawakened you're done for.

What do you do?

You can't move yourself, his Stand having stolen your physical power. But that doesn't mean you're defenseless! You'll get your Stand into range, by bringing him INTO Divine Dragon Force's effective area.

“Go.” you manage to say, eyes focusing exclusively on the mecha Sangheili before you. Your strength may be gone, but you have other techniques not reliant on might. You focus your full mind on the splitjaw in front of you, and grasp it with your telekinesis. You probably don't have the strength to grab its entire body, so you focus your grip on its ankle and pull. Something torques in your mind, vision going fuzzy as you almost lose consciousness.

But you hold on, using everything you've got pull the metal being closer to you. Who's eyes widen in shock, seeing himself being dragged towards you begins to panic.

“S-Stay away from me!” he shouts, drawing one of the smaller energy pistols and leveling it at your head. But as he does, he enters Divine Dragon Force's range.
“GRROOOAAAAAR!” your Stand bellows, lunging forward and sinking its teeth into the Sangeili's foot. Divine Dragon Force doesn't hesitate, immediately activating its ability and the warrior before you begins disintegrating. His body begins dissolving into nothing from his leg up, the man fixing you with a determined glare. You recognize that look, he's aiming to take you out with him!

“I won't die alone!” he shouts, kicking off the ground with his one remaining leg and aiming his sword for your head as he falls apart into nothingness. But his body falls apart just before he can reach you, the sword deactivating the instant before it would have hit you and clatters to the ground. It and the pistol the only evidence the man had lived at all. As the now-ownerless weapons clatter to the ground, you feel all of your strength suddenly return!
“HAAA!!” you shout, Ascending back into your strongest Berserker form and surging back up to your feet. Arctus transforms back up into his fifth form at the same time, the two of you turning to see how everyone else is doing. Leyas and Sarada's strength is rapidly climbing back up to their usual levels, the two transforming back once more as well. King Vegeta, Cenoria, Caulifla, Chilli and Broly are all in the air looking down at you all, seeing you all getting back up begin dropping back down to the ground.

“Daddy! You all right?” Caulifla asks, rushing over to you.
“I'm fine kiddo. That Stand just stole my strength.” you tell her, ruffling your worried daughter's hair. Now that he's done for, I've got my power back.”
“What an insidious trap.” Arctus says, a note of respect in his voice as he takes the Energy Sword and activates in with his left hand. “Now, let's see what he was protecting.”

You all turn back to the door, which is still only open a crack, and with a bit of focus Arctus uses his telekinesis to throw the doors wide open. Revealing a massive room of what seems to be an assembly line. Hundreds of partially-assembled Lin Kuei metal men are hanging from the ceiling in paths, the closer they get towards the room's exit on the left the more complete they are. Now you see how they make their soldiers.

“Let's destroy this and move on.” Nappa says, golden energy crackling around his right fist as he draws it back.
“Hold on, hold on. Not yet.” Arctus says, grabbing his much-larger arms with his left. “I want to take their tech for us, once this is over. So leave the assembly lines and production alone.”
“You sure about this?” King Vegeta asks, his brows narrowed a bit. “This could be a trap.”
“No one traps their own production. I would know.” Arctus tells him. “Can't risk a misfire and destroying your own stock over nothing.”

“Then we should keep moving.” you say, readying yourself to keep going deeper. But then you hesitate, realizing that the production floor here is far larger than you thought. You can't actually see the end of the room you're in, and don't exactly know which way to go.

"We've got a long way to go yet." you say after a moment, feeling for King Cold and Cooler's ki far, far deeper into the planet. If the floors are all roughly the same height as the ones you've been going through, there are easily hundreds more to clear to get down to his level. So, you draw both fists up and slam them both down into the ground with a shout of "Follow me!"

The ground shatters beneath your mighty fists, you dropping down into the floor below. Only to be opened fire upon by dozens of Sangheili energy weapons. As they all start shooting you reactivate your Energy Body, allowing your ki to shield you from the incoming projectiles. Many attacks strike your armor, several others missing you completely as you crash to the ground surrounded. The cyber Lin Kuei all start drawing icy weapons, ready to close in and attack you. But they never get the chance.

“DIE!” Meloka roars, firing a pair of Death Slashes down. Her energy scythes through more than a dozen bodies, splitting them into pieces as Chilli fires down a pair of Dark and Light cutting magic blades. His attacks split several more, their metal bodies unable to stop the magical blades. Before you even get one of them, the rest of your allies have already destroyed them all.
“My turn!” Nappa calls out once the floor's cleared, raising both hands and smashing the ground beneath him. You all drop down after him, quickly clearing another floor. Floor after floor you all purge quickly, within a minute your team have cleared a dozen more floors down. But as Leyas and Sarada smash their way down into the next one, the ground explodes UP around them instead!

“What?” they both shout in surprise as they're blasted up into the air, smashing up into the remains of the ceiling as you look to the reverse-smashed hole. You watch as an orb of blackness rises up from it, followed by another of the cyber Sangheili's bodies. But from the reactions you hear, almost no one can see the orb above him.
“Bastard!” Nappa bellows, firing his Bomber DX beam from his left hand directly at the Sangheili. Yet as the wave hits him, instead of obliterating the smaller creature, NAPPA is the one sent flying back! “Wh-Whaaaat?!”

What in the world is this Stand?

Seems like whatever happens to the stand user, its reflected back at the attacker, or atleast turned into the opposite. No obvious weakness aside from the Menacing Orb of Doom, but I'm not sure if attacking it would work. And punching yourself in the face sounds incredibly foolish and likely to do nothing. Do we have any means of launching a non-corporeal attack? Asides from dragon force that is, that sounds like it would backfire BADLY.

But don't explode them right away, put them on a delay.” you tell her, your wife nod then without hesitation fires a Scattershot towards the Sangheili with a “HAAA!” Who makes no moves to defend himself, confident in his Stand's absolute ability. The orbs all close in, stopping themselves just short of his body if they would have hit him. The rest form a rough spherical shape around him, fully entrapping the splitjaw. “Hold him there, don't let him escape.”
“Simpletons.” he says, reaching up and placing his right hand on the contact explosive. Which begins glowing brighter, signaling that it is about to burst. “Your foolish minds cannot comprehend how outmatched you-”

KABOOOOM

“NOW!” you think to yourself, immediately getting between the Stand user and your wife as if you can intercept the attack. But it doesn't work, Meloka wincing as the blast goes off. You look over your shoulder, seeing her right arm covered in light scorching from her attack's detonation. You can't intercept the attacks after all, looks like the Stand doesn't reflect damage by line-of-sight. “Dammit. How do we beat this thing?”
“And another.” he says, reaching for another. But as he does your wife takes control of the blasts, drawing them all up into the air away from him. The Stand user's hand narrowly misses grazing the orb, following them with his eyes. “Oh?”

“Mel, I have an idea.” you think to her, quickly outlining your plan. Having an attack that explodes, but the damage isn't sent through immediately and giving you time to teleport him hopefully out of range. She ponders it a moment and says she can try it. With a snap of her fingers she draws the mines back to her, drawing that energy back into herself.
“Any more 'clever' ideas?” the splitjaw taunts smugly.
“Just one.” you reply, stepping forward towards him. He turns his focus onto you, still looking supremely confident at you walk closer and closer.
“Oh? Going to try your famed devil dragon against me?” he asks, clearly aware of your Divine Dragon Force's power. “Go on, try it. Erase me with your dark power, heretic.”
“Ready.” Meloka thinks to you, letting you know it's ready. “MOVE!”

You immediately leap up, twisting over the being's head as Meloka's orb rapidly closes in on you. He doesn't try to intercept the energy attack, letting it strike him full in the chest. But as you fall down behind him, the energy is seemingly absorbed into his body. Thrusting your left hand out as you raise your right to your forehead, expanding your ki sense to its maximum range. As you do, you feel an all-too-familiar powerlevel rapidly closing in. Perfect.

“Ubo, stop for a second.” you think to your ally, focusing on his ki and teleporting both yourself and the splitjaw to his side.

One instant you're deep into the mountain complex, the next you're in the air next to Ubo's massive frame just outside the planet's atmosphere. You then shove the splitjaw away, which instead forces you back towards your all.

“Hang on!” you call out to Ubo, feeling his hand on your shoulder as you refocus on Meloka's ki signature and teleport back to her. You and Ubo leave space behind, reappearing beside your wife. “Let's see how he likes-”
“KYAAAAAH!” she shouts, suddenly flying backwards towards the wall as her body starts actually smoking.
“TRIUMPH!!” Caulifla calls, her Stand actually catching your wife with its feet. Immediately it sets her down, crying healing tears onto her scorched body. Looks like that insane Stand wasn't actually limited by range after all, you think as Caulifla runs over. “Momma, are you okay?”
“Th-That didn't work.” she says, visibly relaxing as her body is swiftly healed by Caulifla's power. She opens her eyes, seeing both you and Ubo looking concerned down at her along with Cauli. “Nice try hun, it was a good idea. Hey Ubo.”

“What happened?” he asks her, clearly worried. You explain what that Sangheili's Stand was and could do, but then another thought comes to mind: you're responsible for sending it out into space, if it isn't designed to handle space or re-entry, would it damage you instead of it since you were the one who moved it? You worry about this for several seconds, but then it seems that this worry was unfounded. Looks like that was the-

You think for a moment on how to stop this thing, looking around at all of your allies while trying to come up with a plan. But only one answer presents itself to you.

"Ubo, good thing you arrived when you did." you say, looking from him back up to the rapidly descending flaming metal hunk. "Think you can take him to the nearest unoccupied planet and just leave him there?"
"That's easy enough." he answers, then realization dawns. "Oh, I get it. You can't hurt this thing, so you want it out of the fight for good. Should I take it to a nearby star instead?"
"No, it might reflect that damage back to you instead." you answer, shaking your head. "Just leave it somewhere where there's no way back, leave it and hurry back to us."

"Understood." Ubo answers, then without another word launches himself into the sky. By the time you look up after him, they're already little more than a dot in the sky that vanishes after another second. You follow him with your ki senses for another second, Ubo leaving your effective sensing area behind.
“Well, that was easier than expected.” Arctus says, gesturing to the hole. “Who's first?”
“I am!” Sarada snarls, launching herself down with a growl. “Bastards're gonna pay for that!”
“Year!” Leyas shouts with her, the two leading the way deeper into the fortress. The next four levels only have a scarce few machines, your group easily able to dismantle them. But as Nappa smashes another hole open, suddenly you sense another ki appear right behind you! You spin, fist drawn back only to see Cooler already backing away. No doubt remembering what happened when he teleported you to King Cold's place.

“Easy. I just need Arctus.” he says, stepping back beside his cousin and laying a hand on his shoulder. “We found their mainframe, and need him to get in.”
“Then let's go.” Arctus replies, the two vanishing. You can sense their ki appearing beside King Cold's, the trio the only living beings in maybe twenty floors of themselves. But there are still many, many more beings between you all and them, so you have to get back to work.
“Keep pushing forward.” you say, you and Nappa leading the charge down to the next floor. But, as you two drop down the hole, you find yourselves in a much larger room than most of those above. It looks almost like-

“An arena?” Nappa asks aloud as the two of you drop down back-to-back, a moment later crashing down in confusion to the sandy ground. Then suddenly dozens of flood lights activate, you hearing someone shout “FIRE! FIRE NOW!”

“ORANGE CRUSH!” someone roars, you hearing the roaring of water come from behind you. Turning, you see what appears to be a wave of orange water seemingly come up out of the ground between you both and two of the weaker ki signatures. But as the wave surges forward you also hear a different voice shout from the same direction.
“Electric Blue! GO!” the smaller voice shouts, an instant later you see bolts of electricity dancing in the rapidly-approaching wave. The enemy Stand users no doubt planning to electrocute the two of you. But, unfortunately for them, these beings aren't machines. You can sense them.

“Hold on.” you tell Nappa, grabbing his forearm with your left as you raise your right hand to your forehead. Then with a moment's thought teleport the both of you behind the Stand users, leaving them both wide open. So you wast no time, driving your right hand forward and through the living Lin Kuei assassin's head. The other sees this from the corner of his eye, turning towards you. Only to see Nappa's giant palm headed towards his face.
“Too slow.” your friend taunts, smashing their head to paste between his massive hands. Both dead assassins' bodies drop lifelessly to the sand, then as the wave disappears you see your friends and allies dropping down as well.

“RED RAIN!” the voice who'd shouted earlier cries out, you seeing a massive, dark red storm cloud suddenly forming overhead. Then the cloud begins to rain down blood-red drops, but Caulifla's got your friends.
“TRIUMPH!” she shouts, her Stand materializing above them all.
“KIIIIIIIIII!” it caws, belching forth a wide blast of flames directly up. Which blasts the drops to nothingness, protecting them all. But that doesn't shield you or Nappa from the attack.
“HAAAA!!” your friend roars, again thrusting his left hand forward and firing off his tremendous blast. It flies forward far faster than the rain can fall, obliterating the Stand user near-instantly. As they die their Stand vanishes, the red droplets vanishing just before they can fall enough to strike either of you. Caulifla ends her Stand's fiery blast, you all meeting down in the center of the arena. “Haha, was that their best? That was too easy.”

“It's not over yet.” you say, your instincts still warning you that something's watching you all. Then in a flash of foresight, you see everyone being sucked down into the sand, disappearing from sight. You blink, vision returning to normal as you look around, then feel it. “MOVE!”

Immediately you leap into the air, but before everyone else can do the same, the sand suddenly surges up! You watch in horror as the sand rises several feet, burying everyone up at least to their waists, Meloka, Chilli, King Vegeta and Caulifla buried up to their necks!

“What the hell?”
“Dammit!”
“No way!”
“Triumph!”
“Wha-?
“V-Velvet Green!”

Everyone shouts in surprise as they're trapped, Caulifla and Cenoria trying to use their Stands to free themselves. Caulifla tries glassing the sand, while Cenoria tries sweeping it off of her with her vines. But the sand's hold is relentless, dragging them all deeper as you see a skull larger than your body begin emerging.

“Lester Sands will grind the flesh from your bones!” the skull seemingly declares, then opens its mouth wide. And starts sucking the sand, and everyone stuck inside it, down into its mouth. “You will all perish! Die, Die! DIE!”

As you spring into action, you begin to wonder: just how many Stand users did Truth make before he passed on?

There’s only two ways to handle them. Survive long enough to figure out their ability and a way to counter it, or attack before they can use it with overwhelming force. But each strategy comes with inherent flaws against certain Stands in certain scenarios.

Take the last fight for example. Had Karn not acted so fast with IT, Lester Sands would have grabbed both of you and held you in place to get crushed/electrocuted by Orange Crush and Electric Blue.
You haven’t really run into any serious magic other than some cryomancy. Yet. Which is rather odd, wouldn’t you say?

Random thought.

The race that the Kais belong to, the Core People or Shin-jins, are fruits. They are literal fruit people that grow on a giant tree. Regular fruit become normal Kais while golden fruit become Supreme Kais. Yet they aren't monogendered like Namekians as seen by the existence of females such as Chronoa, the West Supreme Kai, and Aeos. So they clearly can also reproduce sexually, otherwise having both males and females makes no biological sense. So maybe it's like eggs in that not every fruit has a baby Kai inside of it? We also know they have a connection to the Tree of Might.

What I'm suggesting is would it be possible for us to gain God powers without the SSG ritual by eating a Kai? Fruit is meant to be eaten after all. We already have targets we'd be killing anyway such as Kars and Chronoa.
