The two of you walk in relative silence before Maiko begins looking at your arms.

You decide to workshop some talon like nail to be activated with the gauntlets, shouldn't be too hard especially since they're so small, you can get a good amount of hardened life fibers making these pretty small. You make the schematics, your current idea is to have them protrude from the top ends of the fingers for maximum efficiency. The mechanism itself is relatively simple the really kicker is going to be getting the life fibers for the nails in the first place.

You don't think it would be easy to just waltz in and ask for them and as far as you know the only person who knows about your gauntlets are Maiko and maybe Satsuki. Hmmm, maybe it would be a good time to put that R&D club to good use? But that could risk you revealing your ace in the hole. Ryuko is your friend sure, but do you want to take that risk?

Normally you would disregard that entirely, but... you've seen Ryuko's Kamui Senketsu. He's alive, and you would have to assume that he's made of life fibers, but the other members of the 4 have uniforms made of life fibers and they seem top of line and none of them are alive. So there has to be something else....

We need it for research and development on alternate properties of life fiber other than clothing, which is why the tailor club doesn't need too get involved.
Just don't say that we already know how it works and it's for weaponry, if this info was on a conspiracy sites instead of scientific articles, than it's underground stuff.

My endgame is to try to steal control of life fibers from the Original, either by continuing Kamui research and turn them from parasites into symbiontes, make our gaunglet powerful enough to actually order it around, create a potential rival to the Original that is friendly to humanity, make parts of it start going crazy and tear itself apart, basically giving it cancer, or all of the above.
Ambitious ideas that probably wont work, but you got to dream big.

Matoi's scissor can cut life fiber, but we think it should not be possible. We came to the conclusion that it must also be made of it, by simply having more of it on a smaller area. "Here, Satsuki-sama requested that I bring these to you." he says clearly not pleased.

Alright, looks good to me, I'll get to writing.

Using what you recall from your time on the message boards you begin compounding the fibers on top of each other over and over again. You notice as if my some sort of magic, they bind themselves together.

Seeing this you immediately try to find the nearest blunt object in the room, thankfully it looks like they left a small toolbox. You grab the hammer and immediately begin pounding the fibers into each other.

"Uh boss, you alright?" Maiko asks

You nod but otherwise don't respond. You continue pounding into the fibers as hard as you can, eventually they begin to clang! You pick up your pace and find that you seem to have created some form of metal out of the fibers. In fact, it looks identical to the metal from Ryuko's scissor blade!

There on the table lay a blade in crimson red, a perfect sheen reflecting off it's surface. you can see your eyes peering into the work. It is quite possibly the best thing you have ever made on a first go.

You turn to Maiko

I wonder how, if this quest was in fact canon, would the viewers react to this series. They'd still be watching from Ryuko's end of things like the original anime, except with the occasional third person omniscient view of other characters and flashbacks and such. The viewers might have seen bathrobe Satsuki harangue Sangeyama and Anon watching from the sidelines, but did they see the rest of the scene or only up to a certain point? What would viewers think about Maiko sticking with Anon after her betrayal of Ryuko? How popular would Anon be compared to the rest of the Elite 4? He doesn't have much screentime compared to them yet, nor has he displayed any big endearing character quirks for viewers to grow attached to, There's gotta be people theorizing he gets important later, with how out-of-the-spotlight he has been.

It's mainly as an excuse for Ragyo on why we are researching hardened life fibers, that way when we do make our talons we can still catch people offguard.
Having it be a masterwork replica makes the excuse that we were trying to be an asskisser and were inspired japanese smiths be more believable. Because it's better than admitting that we won't on a conspiracy binge searching for knowledge on life fibers, looking for tech that got Soichiro killed and then trying to find out about his murder.

You opt to hold onto the blade and decide to head home to make yourself presentable. Your parents ask you what's going on and you nervously stammer out to them that you're meeting Ragyo Kiryuin.

"YOU'RE WHAT?!" they both scream out

"Are you in trouble dear?!" your mom asks

"No." you respond

"Are ya dating Satsuki son?!" dad asks

"Then what's going?" Mom asks

You calmly explain to them the conversation you had with Satsuki. With a look to each other and a nod, the two of them take your uniform, you quickly shower and by the time you're done your parents have ironed it and placed it out nicely for you.

You put it on and immediately transform, adorning yourself with pointed mask highlights of silver and gold. You then rush over to the gates of the school. Where you find Satsuki waiting.

"Ah, excellent you truly did decide to arrive." Satsuki says calmly

You nod "Of course, I don't have a death wish"

She looks to the case where you're carrying the blade "What is that?" she asks

Cripes, sometimes you wonder how you got here, you were a no-star that happened to be really smart. You never would've expected it to lead you here, I guess in a way meeting Inumuta by chance that day helped take steps towards your true potential. But this... this seems insane.

"Have you ever flown in a helicopter before Anon Meipan?" Satsuki asks

You jump and turn to her "Oh uh, no no I haven't" you respond

"Hm." she responds "Do you know why I've brought on this trip with me today?"

"This way if you please." she says. She's a shorter woman, with platinum blonde hair and dark skin

She guides the two of you through several grand hallways. Around you see the walls are mostly bare of any sort of decoration, the steps of your shoes echo across the barren landscapes. It's unnerving if you're being entirely honest.

"She's waiting inside." the woman says

The doors slowly open and what you see in front of you is...

It's indescribable in all honesty.

You sort of aimlessly trod along behind Satsuki as you then notice the towering figure of who can only assume to be Ragyo Kiryuin. Eventually, Satsuki stops walking and you do as well.

"Hello mother." Satsuki says

She turns to look at her

"Ah... my dear daughter, so lovely for you to join me." Ragyo reaches down to hug Satsuki and it may be your imagination but you swear you see her tense up ever so slightly. "...and you."

You meet her gaze "You must be this... Anon Meipan" she steps over to you "A pleasure." she looks you with a cold calculating smile.

"My, how well mannered." she says with a low chuckle. She steps towards you and lifts your head up by your chin.

"Satsuki said you had something for me boy?" she looks at you with a smile

"Y-yes" you stutter out. You begin to open the case before she stops you "Just a moment."

Her hand lightly caresses your cheek before touching your bangs, she pulls them up over you face now looking directly into them.

"Mmmm.. red eyes, how unique." she observes. "Continue."

With your bangs still held back you open the case and show it to her.

Keeping your voice steady. "This is a blade that made out of life fibers. I compounded them onto each other until they became a solid metal like material. I then shaped the blade as you see it here."

You see Satsuki take a step forward in your peripheral vision.

Ragyo, uncharacteristically lets go of your bangs, causing them to fall back down over your face. She takes the blade and turns away from you. Her voice is low when she asks

"How long did it take you to make this?"

"A few hours." you respond

A silence falls over the room for a moment, for minutes no one in the room says anything. Eventually Ragyo turns to you smiling.

"I am so very glad my daughter brought you to see me today." Ragyo says "I believe I've seen quite enough. Thank you very much Satsuki."

Satsuki regains her composure and bows "Of course mother."

"Thank you, mam." you say

With that the two of you walk outside the chamber and the door closes slowly behind you. You and Satsuki walk for some time before eventually she stops.

Finally got back home and roll for infinity gauntlet.

You pick up your computer and get to work. You think seeing the primordial Life Fibers may have actually made you insane for even attempting to try this but you really want to give it your best shot. You've seen what's in there, even if it would go against Satsuki's wishes this is the only way you can think to stand a chance against Ragyo.

You begin going deep into the web, trying to find openings, gateways, entrances any sort of weakness in the vast network, running deep like fibers in the clothing.

You are currently trying to hack into the REVOC's databases. As expected though, this this place is locked up tight, however, it was very similar to the systems in place at honnoji academy, which you haven't had major issues dealing with before.

You begin to try and scan through files but all you can find on the surface are design sketches for clothes, different building schematics for future factories and distribution centers, but not what you're looking for.

You try to dig deeper and begin to find locales with unregistered access. Here's where you truly begin finding the good stuff.

There's blueprints, research notes, long notes telling stories of what life fibers could do.

Eventually, you find exactly what you were looking for. You knew of Senketsu, but back then, when in the student council room where you saw Satsuki reprimand Sangeyama, the place that set you on this path... You saw something else, in restraints, another uniform. just like Senketsu. If this exists that this means it had to have existed during or before Satsuki's father's tenure at REVOC's before his alleged death. You wanted the schematics for a kamui.

You search and search and search before finally hitting a particularly difficult barrier. You push through it with all your ability, before eventually there...

You see it. Junketsu, the Kamui Satsuki wears. You take a deep breath and immediately begin downloading the data for it. Things are fine for the moment but then

You black out for a bit before a sudden knocking wakes you up. With a jump you run to the door with a slam.

"Boss? You okay? That's 2 for 2 days in a row you've been acting like a fucking weirdo." Maiko says

You shush her and croak out "Who is it?"

You turn to the side.

He turns to leave and as he's out the door you ask

Well, when we finish the talons we are going to need another project to act as cover for the kamui research (that I still hope is going to lead to even better life fiber control)

Wait, what about life fiber traps?

Think about it, we make some plastic balls or something for storing the life fibers, and when we throw them we could control them to make more permanent traps instead of focusing on the same target.

We know that the life fibers are "programmable" or however it writes because by hitting them they get stronger like steel, so if we can "crack the code" of how they work, we will basically make our own Kamui and know how the better manipulate the life fibers

So intead of moving our hand to the target and "press" them so they don't move, we could launch the life fiber granades, activate them and basically trap the victims legs, or even do something else.

once they are finished or destroyed we use our gauntlet to make they're way again to us, get inside of one of those empty containers and use them again.

Mainly so we can get some variety or if we end up needing to use something that doesn't have life fibers.
But I like your ideas, and they are a good excuse to skim a bit of extra supplies towards the kamui research.

You get to work on making the nails.

It's a pretty simple process, you harden down a few smaller pieces of life fiber and then after adjusting the mechanisms of the gauntlet you manage to get the nails working.

"Nice!" you say

You give a few test slashes in the air, practicing how quickly you could retract and bare them again.

"Not bad." you say to yourself. The form on them is quite good as well. It probably helped that you mapped all of this out before hand." you retract them place the gauntlets back onto the table.

You look to the door, neither Maiko or Ryuko have come back yet.

"Hmph, insolence." he says

"Do not call me Gama." he says "But if you must know, that Ryuko girl just asked to form a club."

You raise your eyes at that. "She did?"

"Correct, something about starting a Fight Club." he responds

"Isn't... uh wasn't... whatever what about the boxing club?" you ask
