Welcome back to capsule corp quest my lads.

You wake up in the morning...
Getting up and getting food is a rather quiet experience, your parents getting ready to leave for work.
"Hey champ, how did your search for the dojo go?"
"Found one, they told me if i last the first three months then they will consider about having me pay tuition..."
Mother gave dad a strange look, He noticably tensed, Evading her gaze and looking back at you
"Uh thats great stuff champ, just make sure not to push yourself too hard, you are still young and all, and dont let it take over your life, still need to do school and all."

Their instructions for your stretching and warm up routine is much more lenient, which is understandable as you are just starting... well, its what you would say, if you were not currently jogging your 5th lap around the inside of the training grounds.

They clap their hands, as you finish the last lap, somewhat sweaty. You weren't used to exercise too much.

"Wonderful performance for a beginner, you must be rather naturally gifted." The elder analysed, observing you.

wow uh, back to back close to crits haha
crit victories make things easier but not auto win
crit losses make things harder, but not an auto lose.
So for example, a task that would take you 4 hours normaly
a crit fail would take you 5-6 and youd be exhausted after
a crit success would take you 2-3 and youd be hardly tired.
If we get both at the same time they cancel each other out.
I think thats a fair system? Im open to opinions.
also might lower the timer to half an hour and extend if there are only 2 or less rolls? Does that sound fair? My timezone is a little weird. So I understand if it takes a while sometimes for responces to trickle in.

I think if you're doing a session then either an hour or once 3 rolls are in, whichever is first. Personally I prefer d100 with levels of success or failures so it's less swingy. This is DB though so massively fluctuating powers are par for the course.

Snack's bout was against a same level student, another new kid. He certainly kept his notes during your fight... baiting him out for attacks, only to try and press a counter while his opponent is overxtended.

It was a close spar, and you cheered him on all the way, he manages to push out the opponent outside the ring, winning the match, and falling on his butt, smiling.

The two of you then proceed to observe matches, exchange some plans and strategies. As your time training came close to an end.

"We will see you all tommorow." The two teachers said, as you and snack made your way home...
