You are Purple, a 18 year old trainer. You like pokemons, food and plus-sized guys. You're fit, and sing horribly bad.
The region is South Kalos, you can meet all pokemons, there are some alternate typing name delta pokemons and possibility to fuse pokemons.
Last time, you continued your journey started thanks to Professor Pommier with your new friends : Blaise, a Chad Historian, Clémentine, a Stacy wannabe Nurse-Ranger, Lucas, a nerd, Léa, a chaotic-stupid tech genius, and Maxine, the edgy fight addict of the group.
Last time, you kicked the ass of wannabe-roman legionari imperialist QuillAnons, you met an amazing guy named Jean-John, specializing in Snorlax-fusion pokemons, you literally broke his heart, you trained your meditation with Fist of Green Draconite martial art school and found out you have no connection with the water element, then got your 4th badge : Water.
After some visions related to the cultist that raised you as some sacrificial cattle, you started investigate the region's box art legends : the 4 knights. You found out their names, and minor details about them. For more, you'll need to head to the cultural scholar's town, Krow-Hold
Your team so far :
Charmy, the delta-Charizard (Ghost/Dragon), level 42
Tensendur, the Ponyta and good land locomotion option, level 38
Nanowatt the Galvantula, level 38

Right now, you are fighting a delta-serperior for its Jewel-hoard.
Things started bad with a one-shot of your electric pokemon.

Wow, what a day. Now, you get back to poke center.
Annnnd you're getting jump by Maxine.
"You owe me a fight. Tomorrow, before we leave, in front of the center."
This is more a threat than a question.
Your friend are around a table, discussing on the top of a map.

They are currently debatting about where to go next.
Basically, options are either fly back to Velayswell, then east to saint-Stephenson (Plant and steel gym), go south toward Pink Town (Electrik and Flying gym) or fly back to Belloco town, and head down toward Frameson (Ghost and Dark gyms).
Blaise seems to favore Saint Stephenson as he wants to go to Alpearl, the snow-mountain town, as soon as possible.
Other have various preferences, based on their current team
What do you prefer?

You position yourself in the arena out of the center just fast enough Maxine looks surprise when getting out.
"Ah, I see you didn't flee this time. But I'll rip the smug smile out of your face"

Maxine readied her grasp on a pokeball. Time to choose a lead...
Your options are mainly Pinekiss, for hazard set and controls, and Nessie, for starting rain and maybe a setup opportunity. Nanowatt would require volt switch and sticky web to be an effective lead...

After this trade, the syclant still got 46% life left.
"Syclant, ice shard again!

And with the priority move, Oslo fainted.

the choice about who to send next is obvious.
"Your turn, Tensendur! Flame Charge!"
The thing looks frail, with a 4x vulnerability. Best to try to set up.
"Draven! Slash!"

Rival Maxine sent out Mega-Blastoise!
>Blastoise is buffeted by spikes (83%)
Once again, it's an easy choice.
"Tensendur, play rough!
-Blastoise, Shadow sneak."
While your flame horse run forwards, shadows extend from below and trip him, putting him out of comission.
"It's over, retard. Now you only have your starter, and i'm heavily avantaged against it.
- Go, Nanowatt!"
The look on her face is priceles.
"But... It's not optimal choices... Why did she set her team like that? It makes no sense..."

>Nanowatt fainted.

... Maxine won this fight.

You're not sure how to feel about that.
It was a really close one. You're pretty sure now that Tensendur evolved, you would win the same fight. But maybe you did a couple mistakes? Keeping Nessie around to set rain could have been worth it, as it boosts staying power of Pinekiss and damages of Oslo. Also, Kokonuts would had been way more usefull with a little bit of training.
Your train of thought is interrupted by Maxine gloating.
"You're a C-tier trainer with a D-tier team! how could I sweat against you when you are so underleveled? Only your dragon monster thing was a challenge, and mainly because you hide you caught it! And you're retarded enough not to take your charizard with you? How retarded can you be?"
>Write in answer to trash talk. Else you'll just lower your head and walk into the poke center

You healed your team, swap Oslo for squiggle, strapped on and got ready for your trip.
Tensendur got from fast to Ohmagad-hellaFast with the evolution. You took the required time to set up the saddle and leatherworks to fit the no-longer pony. With no pokeball left, you won't have to worry about finding new and exotic 'mons.
>Thanks to the improved mobility, introducing new Grinding mechanics.

"It's really sweet, Maxine. Your baby surely sent you much strenght and luck. It s so heartwarming. Oh, by the way, I have something for the baby."
>you gave the secret shell to Maxine
"It's to remind him, -- or her, we don't know yet right? -- of the time his mom went to the sea while he was still in the making"
With how angry that made her, it's almost like you didn't lose the match.

Well, time for training. The seaside, with its ground and water pokemon, are perfect training ground for Kokonuts. (+2 level bonus)
>Kokonuts grew to level 37

Sorry for the delay.

>Entering road mode : you will face multiple "simple" encounters, without healing, before reaching next town.

After half a day of training your team, you see some people in front of the road.

They block the road , and there are cliffs nearby. Not impossible to pass, but you will lose time and they are a nuisance to public order.

"Come on, let us disperse you. Our calls for Spring Inc will become worthless if they can't get supplied today by land after we blocked cargo at the dock for 2 months!
- No way. You will disrupt the great coming down! You lowly unbeliever are on the verge of witnessing the contact with extra terrestrial intelligent being, how can your stupid economy worth anything in regard to eternal life and salvation thanks to advanced technology?

And thus started a long and akward fight.
The opponent caused you so little damage Leftovers soaked it up every turns. Meanwhile, your damages where ridiculous too, but he didn't had mean to regenerate. Or didn't used them. Whatever, the guy looks like a psychopath.
After 10 or 11 turns, he finally collapsed.
>Pinekiss grew to level 37.

While you were struggling, the other strange people fled and organised themself. They blocked the road using capactity, and climbed an hill while letting a few of them on the way to delay your inevitable acension : if they were strong enough, they would had stayed and fight.
