Around you was a world that seemed familiar yet entirely new. A world which entered with only the forklift on which you drove, and the safety helmet which you wore. A world which would recognize your distinguished skillset as a forklift operator.
After a short and uneventful drive, you reached a fork in the road marked by a signpost.

You consider continuing to the castle, and even entertain the thought of exploring the forest. But in the end, you decide that the port is your calling. You turn your forklift 360 degrees and drive away.
Surprisingly, the road is empty, and you reach the port without incident. There, however, you are surrounded by curious dock workers.
"Who the hell are you, and what kind of damned steed is that?", one asks in a highly insulting tone.

"I merely wish to help you with your honorable work", you half-truthfully assure the dockworkers. "This machine is perfect for the job of transporting items from point A to point B." The dockworkers shrug your shoulders, and allow you to begin helping them unload the ship. As your mighty forklift swiftly moves heavy barrels of wine and crates of metal goods from the ship to the pile, you keep an eye out for an opportunity to just steal something and drive away. However, you are not able to free yourself of attention, and thus are unable to steal anything. Besides, they like you now.
"Oh shit, another shipment already?", one worker exclaims as he spots another vessel sailing in. "Good thing this guy arrived today", another says.
When the ship gets close, however, the cargo turns out to be a band of raiders. Shouts fill the air as they rush off their ship and onto the port.
"Oh fuck, it's the Swedes! Alert the guards!", one dock worker exclaims, and a group runs off along a path. Others flee in different directions, but some grab whatever is at hand and prepare to repel the attackers.
One swings a long wooden pole at a raider, only to have his arm lopped off by his sword. "Swedish WIN!", the raider proudly proclaims as dock worker shrieks in agony.

The Swedes are winning, but that doesn't matter. A single forklift can turn the tide of a battle! Your allies clear out of the way as you accelerate into the brawl, dragging the forklift's tines along the ground to sharpen them out. "I saw this in a LiveLeak video once", you muse as you swerve to face the leader of the group, the bastard who crippled your comrade by amputating his best hand. His comrades close in, but you'll deal with them later. You focus again on the Swede with the blood-covered sword and round shield, and give the accelerator pedal a firm press. "DIE, FUCKER!", you yell as you close in and he turns to face you.

Raising your tines, you strike your enemy head-on! You smile as your tines knock away his buckler and leave deep gashes on both of his sides. "HAHA! Swedish FAIL!", you exclaim, as the forklift threatens to crush him under its wheels. His two comrades rush to his aid, but the axeman gets left in the dust. The torchman, however, could be a threat.
"NO!", the barbarian shrieks, as he struggles to avoid being run over. You smile for a moment, but then realize that there is no desperation in his voice. "Not Swedish Fail! Swedish WIN!", he yells, as he pulls himself onto your tines, and prepares to climb over the forklift and run you through with his sword!

You drift hard to the side, with the intent of throwing the swordsman off of the forklift and onto the torch-bearer. However, the torch-bearer is faster, and closes the distance before you can finish. Hopefully he doesn-AWW FUCK THAT HURT!!! Nothing catches on fire, but it hurts pretty fucking bad. It's a good thing that your allies are moving in to back you up.
As your forklift runs out of monentum, you notice that the swordswede has managed to stay on. He jumps onto the mast, intending to clear it and dive onto you!

If drifting didn't work, then what will? More drifting! The din of war is overwhelmed by your ear-shattering shrieks as you turn the forklift right, right, and right some more! The swordman is soon thrown off, and onto his axe-wielding comrade. The dockworkers finish them and the torchbearer off before you can capture them.
You turn to fight the remaining swedes, but see that they have already retreated, either scared off by you or by the incoming reinforcements. Probably by you, however. Fucking cowards. Either they are cowards, or they are smart enough to not mess with the king of the docks.
As the dockworkers rush to rescue the burning cargo ship, the soldiers take a moment to chat with you.

"Become my sidekick friend!", you suggest to the creature. You're not sure if it really understands you, but it doesn't try to eat you, which is a good sign. Instead, it continues to grin, and follows you around without incident as you lift a wine barrel and turn around.
"Have you heard that the workers who went down here went missing?", you ask the creature as you drive back. "There's no sign of them, either. Strange, right?"
Your spider thing friend's smug smile would be very unnverving at that moment if not for the fact that it had been smiling that way since you first saw it.
You drive back from the cellar and into the hall. You tell your companion to wait as you transport the barrel to the dining room. It seems to understand.
You return to find the king and his guards confronting your friend. "Go on!", the king yells at the guards, while the giant spider stares at them with its signature shit-eating grin. "Kill the fucker already!". The guards steady themselves and prepare to attack!
