The Grand Line, the ocean of dreams. It is here the World Goverment's throne of power is seated and it is here the Yonkou roam, pirate lords who spit in the face of all who would restrict their rampages.

In this frenzy you are a ant in a storm, a single drop in a bucket of giants and legends that floats adrift in the ocean of the World Goverment's 400 year reign.

But this is YOUR story, not theirs.

Time to tell it.

...But what is it again?

>Come on we've been here before, we are Maximillion T. Strongarm of the Strongarm Pirates (Use the character and setting from my last one piece quest, even though it was years ago)
>We are from Age of Gold (Between The God Valley Incident and Gol Rogers death (Char Gen))
>You would not recognize my waters (Take it fully from the top. Char Gen in a homebrew world with new pirates and new navy (Simillar gimmick, big world goverment and cursed fruits, but no recognizable faces))

Its a age of war.

For years the World Goverment has ruled a peaceful planet, that every rebel or unruly nation is declared a criminal not a state has paid no small part to that claim of dominance, yet the crown remains upon their head.

Until now.

East Blue, the ocean of outrage, have struck out on their own. The hotbed of rebels and malcontents have finally had enough, and the United Eastern Nations have formed, deposing the World Goverments Navy bases and cutting the World Goverment off from the precious Glittering Oil that comes only from Treasure Whales in East Blue.

The war has turned the Grand Line into a savage borderlands, with mercenaries and pirates praying on both sides merchant vessels and taking over the neglected nations in the New World.

It is the Age of Blood, and as long as you have the salt for it, the Gold will follow.

You have never been blind to opportunity... but how did you choose to seize it?

>Rebellion: Serve East Blue!
>Authority: Serve the Navy, face the selfish and the cruel.
>Money: Piracy baybay, strike it rich.

After this vote we will go over the broad roles you can have, such as musician, cook, swordmaster, and narrow down who you are as a person.

If it means anything, as a Navy Officer you will start as Captain to give you a degree of flexibillity IE: I dont want to trap you in a base and throw npcs at you

As a Rebel youd be simillar but the terminology is different, and only the navy wear coats.

The Seven Warlords work for East Blue btw, to keep the big 3 divided. They are mercenary privateers who were bought by the UEN. Admirals are still WG, and Yonkou are Yonkou.

At least that seemed a bit more fair interesting then just making up a different name for the big East boys.

Alright i wanted to make sure everyone got their votes in but I think I may have waited too long lol, lets get this ball rolling.

The World Goverment. While once a humble economic trade union, or so it alleges, age and force of arms have consolidated it into a unyielding armada against the neverending war against Piracy, which is a lot easier to understand when the long arm of the Yonkai are fully considered.

Whether you are a patriot or opportunist, you answered the call, before the war even, ans served with the skill and loyalty that has afforded you the white coat you so proudly wear.

However you didn't start there. Even commission officers start at by scrubbing the dirt. For you, those old days were

(Note, while all groups have a Mission attached to it, you can do all sorts of jobs, these are just the jobs the World Goverment will ASK you to do, rather then have to be found out yourself, beyond official duties of course)

>Shackles: You were ex pirate, captured and put in the press gang service, you had came through hell and back to get into officerdom, but you still have your old rep and practices (You have a Jolly Roger still, criminal contacts and reputation, also you are good at bossing people around, can go on Bounty missions)

>Chef: You cooked, mostly in a pot and mostly while being yelled at and with knives thrown at you but you cooked damnit. And now YOUR the one who throws knives at people... verbally. Maybe. (You can cook, you get fancy food names, and good crew morale because your the one who makes the fish taste good. Go on Culinary Missions, entertaining big Nation leaders and getting them to take your side)

>Sawbones: You helped the old doctor, you fixed wounds, saved a lot of lives, enough that when that sniper got your old captain, it was unanimous who should take his place. (You have medical skill, allowing chakra point bullshit, you can also go on Humanitarian missions and heal the wounds of war along the Grand Line)

>Music: The Shanty is a ancient tradition, older then the flags. They say the Shanties are the lullabies of the Three Kings and their dreams keep the world going smoothly. To sing badly on a ship is to entice storms. So safe to say you are quite practiced in your Muse, and in the history of these traditions. (You are both bard and storyman, you sing the songs and rally the rowers but you are the one who was trusted with the Yellowed Books, ancient tales that have curled with age, you not only can sing for good or bad fortune, but you can go on Lore Quests... AND NOT HAVE YOUR ISLAND BUSTER CALL'D TO DO SO)

>Navigator: If you havent noticed, the world is quirky. Aggressively quirky, soul crushingly quirky. The grand line isnt even a line, its not even 3 lines, its a muddled suggestion of a belt guarded by giant sea kings. To understand its currents alone is a burecracy of waves, not to mention its weather, which MAY be alterable by singing. You have seen more paper then wood and you are on a SHIP. You can handle burecracy of people easily, compared to the madness of cartography, which made you a natural for Captainship (You have the favoratism of the Brass for being one of the more sane cartographers. You can access Red Ink missions, dealing with internal politics, and you can ignore random encounter rolls but then the dm will roll a d100 and you have to take that result)

>Scientist: You worked in Freezy Freezy Labs (The Whirly machines work better when its cold so almost all science is performed in artic conditions) and studied under some of the greatest scientific minds of our age, including the mysterious Think Tank (Who arent so mysterious to you, but asked you to keep some of their secrets hidden). This means that you get access to the cool stuff, hell you MADE the cool stuff, and this means your privates get it too. (You get better gear for you and your crew. You can access Infastructure missions, where your genius iq will be put to task building dangerous gadets in war contested areas)

Shipwright: More like shipwrong am i right? But seriously folks having a boat is a great honor. As Shipwright you are in charge of the Boat, the one you are currently on, you built it, you fix it, you let the goverment know when it needs repairs. And this is important because who the hell is going to question your orders when you are not only captain but the guy who keeps them all from a watery grave? None of them. They are too smart for that. (You get a advanced boat, with cool boat gadgets. You can go on Chase missions, where your superior naval prowess is needed to speedily deliver things to previously unvisited areas ( I aint gonna fetch quest you)).

If you have any other clever ideas let me know i am going to bed.

If there is a sudden push for either pirate or rebel i will consider it, most of these tasks stand either way.

Alright everyone im locking us in on two votes.

>Music
>Science

Though while we are discussing that let me pull out a classic but relatively unimportant question.

Race.

Which of these whacky origins do you want.

>Fishman: Brought aboard in shackles. You have gnawed at the seastone of your subjugation until you have understood the truth beyond truth of the World Goverment. They do not hate you, they are afraid of you. And you have used that fear to get power. There is a role and you play it well. (You get intimidation and cool fishman powers)
>Mermaid/man: Once the Jewell of one of the great World Nobles, the call of duty (haha) has driven you away from your masters hands, but not their eye. Their attention is twisted but the love you see there is real, you only wished they had the kindness to use that love in nicer ways. (You have contact with a World Noble the True Breather upper class whose words can end nations. Their love is cruel but you have their ear.)
>Human: You... exist! Woohoo! (Bonus: White privledge, even if your playing a black character)
>Giant: The giants understand the Call better then any, that the siren song of adventure is real. They hold the Shanty higher then all others, for they know the Greater Truth the Skalds sing of. The coat of justice is just a single note of the Song. (Your a giant, your jolly (or supposed to be))

>Freak: Theres a lot of strange people, beastmen, those with 3 eyes, those with none, those who legs grow long, you are but one of these. (You get one physical quirk in your favor)

>Steelskin: Even if you are not the scientist who built the Pacifistas you were part of its program. Your mind is your own, as is most Pacifistas part of the Handicappers program, but your skin is more metal, plus you have a laserbean now (You are a robot, you need a fuel source and have cool robot powers, all men understand how cool you are because the fact that Robots are badass is universally understood in one piece)

Respectable choice. The best of both worlds. The greatest shantyman modern science can produce.

It was about 10 years ago. You were just a humble Trumpet player in the artics of Freezy Freezy Island, land of science and blistering cold.

Your Jazz attracted the attention of the Think Tank and you were approached by CP4 with a generous offer. One of your oldest patrons was actually... one of the great Think Tankers, and they wished to borrow your expertise for the Pacifista Project.

You naturally agreed, because the name sounded cool. Plus the plans were decent enough, super soldiers created to master nonviolent suppression, using the power of music to help heal hearts and minds, and end riots. Ways to keep the peace without escalating to Impel Down and harsher penalties.

It appealed to your moral justice so you lend your expertise on musical instruments, how one could implement them in the body and still play them, and the algorithms that would help the Tempo System (Which despite its fancy name, was just a way to allow someone to play more then one instrument at a time without dividing their attention). When the offer came you were naturally selected as one of the first members of the Pacifista system, after all youd have the most natural skill operating the new body, and they could always revert to a normal robot model if you dont work out.

So far success has been, mixed. Your skill with sound has increased, and you find it easier to beat thugs (Not that you necessarily WERE the best fighter at the start but it IS easier) but you havent yet stopped a rebellion through a single concert, yet at least. Though you are sure to keep the Think Tank posted when it happens.

IF it happens, given you have been sent out all the way in:
>West Blue: The Oceans of crime, rich with Underworld families and their Mafia Pirates, which are a thing. You spend more time capturing heavily armed drug smugglers then you do fighting rebels.
>North Blue: Self proclaimed the Ocean of Science, the issue is that none of its so called brilliant metal empires are actually quite at the level of Freezy Freezy, and SOMEHOW this is your fault?
>South Blue: South Blue is calm, which is a problem because HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO YOUR JOB WHEN THERE IS NO PROBLEMS. However that same calm has made it a big place of industry, industry that may be targetted by Eastern Spies and Yonkou agents, or just random greedy pirates. Its a subtle world, and your made of brass instruments. Thank god for your crew.

(We could go over starter gibs and fighting style but lets just jump right into it first and we will see how it goes)

West Blue, specifically right now the Ballywood Kingdom, is not a great place to cut your teeth, at least not in brave heroics.

Forget Moral Justice or Absolute Justice, here the name of the game is Dirty Justice. With the Underworlds grip so fierce, its not just profitable to play along, its just... easy. You have dirty Cops, dirty jails, dirty marines, if you want to clean the streets a lot of people will give you the stink eye, and then they'll try to curtail you, there will be investigations as if YOU were the crook, it can be easier to play along.

Though maybe thats why they need you along, after all you are a player... of music that is. Still, it gets you gigs, like here in the Risotto, a ritzy 'speakeasy' for the up and coming of the low and dirty.

The audience is all watching you, the strange metal man on stage playing the sax with more soul then was in the chests of anyone in this rotten building. You've been playing along to the Creimaline Family's game for a while, acting the fool for the thin lipped mafioso. She's been impressed with your performance, and having a Marine officer perform for her nightclubs amuse her, which suits you fine. She can be amused, so long as she doesnt know your ear can easily pick up sound that should be deafened by your music.

Your a one man wire tape, and every customer here is on your dial.
You have your 'partner' outside, ready to play heel for your face when you get a good line... but who to get a read on.

>>Versailles Creimaline herself obviously, 'Mama Vera' is the biggest name here after all, and while you will be on the entire families shit list for bagging their grandma, fuck it, she should've tipped better. Plus you dont like the look of the person shes talking to.
>> There is a rather ratty looking fella whispering to a flapper who would be better off lifting trucks then dancing. Shes grimancing as if the mans breath is toxic to her nose. Neither of them look like good news, but if a feud is starting that will be a great time to nab both sides.
>> A Fishman is muttering to himself, drinking a whiskey. You have nothing against fishmen, but suspicious muttering is dodgy looking no matter who does it.
>>A Giant is talking to a woman, frankly you can hear the blubbering oaf from here, but what the hell is the woman saying to break this behemoths heart?
>>The poker table. All the drug deals happen at the poker table. You dont know why, maybe the losers need a pick me up?

You have been operating this Deep Cover bullshit for too long to let the big prize go. Especially now, you tune your ears to the woman and pick up her conversation.

The Grandma of one of the Five families chortles, her jewelry jingling as she talks to a stoneface man, the stranger was built of hard muscle and his albino skin is stark against the charcoal of his suit.

"Oh Lode, you worry far to much." The woman says, a twinkle not in her eye, but in the rim of her glasses. "The deal will go through, no one can stop it, certainly not you."

The mans eyes narrow, his hand pounding the table as the woman snickers. "You arent the superwoman you were, "Mother"" The man spits the words out. "You are not the boss of the Cremaline anymore, or me, and your staff is as washed up as you. Do you really think I will let you sell-"

"Yes." The woman cuts him off, spearing a shrimp from her platter, the rice and meats soggy from the red oil it is lathered in. "You will, you may pout, you may fuss, you may even grab me and throw me off the balcony, and the deal STILL goes through. And you already knew that, which is why you didn't start this little scene earlier, when you might've had a shot." She bits the shrimp, the shell cracking under her false teeth (Taken, it is said, by those she made vanish over the years). "Ya wanted ta beat your chest." She spits the shell on her plate. "But you know we are out of choices here as well as I did. We are the five families, there is no place for a sixth, we will do what we must to get our position back."

The man grits his teeth, and for a moment you expect he will backhand her. But instead he stomps off, down the balcony and out the door...

>Ditch the scene, this guy seems a bigger prize then the Grandma, plus he may help you take the old bat down.
>Keep playing, eyes on the prize.
>Shes going to be at the meal for awhile, tune to the others and see what intel you can get before the big score.
>>
>>5064386
>Keep playing, eyes on the prize
>Send your 'Partner' after Lode, we got an in here we could possibly use...

Leaving right in the middle of our gig would be a terrible shame, we'd deprive the people here of our stellar performance. No one would want that...

..oh yeah it'd probably look suspicious too. Our partner can meet with Lode and set up a meeting after we've finished jazzing it up.

Well if you want us to write a bit about them, sure! When I picture our man I see someone I would say “Hey that man must’ve eaten the Rat-a-Rat no Mi!” The most rat looking human ever born. Long nose, extra grabby hands & fingers, under 4 feet, and has a grin that says “I’ma gonna steal something.” Also Brooklyn/New York accent, can’t be our partner without one.

Sorry, kinda drunk right now.

You switch from the brass to a fiddle solo, your Arm (and only the arm, the fiddle string is attached to the fiddle finger (You have a fiddle finger)) a blur as you tweedle and twaddle. Which happens to also be the signal for the man you have watching the door.

When Mr Cremaline stomps out, a pair of footprints follow him... meanwhile you keep your eyes on the old Bat, watching for any sudden moves.

......

You are cold.
Well that's not your name, thats more a emotion, and by gum you are feeling it. Its a cold autumn, but most of that cold comes from wind and rain. The Crema fellow doesnt either notice or care, the water steaming off his skin, the man must be quite pissed to be litterally boiling like that.

If hes a direct Cremaline this will be rough, but worth it... or you might just appeal to his better sense of spite and use words...

But wait... silly you, youve been so caught in the moment you totally lost your sense of self! Who ARE you again?

>The Lieutenant second in command of the Captains ship
>You're just a petty officer, but you happen to be the best one for this tailing thing
>You arent even enlisted yet. All the WG officers here are bought out by Cremaline already so the Captain's "Untouchables" are all civillians, for now at least.

>You're just a petty officer, but you happen to be the best one for this tailing thing
We're one of the Captains musical fellows from Freezy Freezy Island, a Bass player who used to frequent the same Tavern where the Captain would often play. While not in a band together, you'd end up as impromptu backup players for each other on numerous occassions, with most of those nights ending in a not-too-unpleasant blur caused by the Captains generosity.

When the Pacifista project sought volunteers, you put your name forward but was deemed 'unfit', as the Project Head so politely put it. You thought that would be the end of your very short attempt at making the world a better place, but when the Captain later sought volunteers for his Marine Crew you simply couldn't let this opportunity pass you by. This earned you a bearhug from the Captain so strong you swear your ribs are still aching to this day.

Just like your chosen instrument, your voice is deep and you are almost conspiciously tall, and the Marine training regimen had given you a more toned and lean bodytype rather than turning you into a muscle mountain. Your face is almost perpetually locked in a sort of semi-neutral scowl that would put lesser men of their breakfast if they locked eyes with you for too long. The Captain would often call you glum and tell you to lighten up, though you've told him multiple times that you're not unhappy, it's just how you look.

You dont have a badge, or a coat, or any logo with justice. Frankly you dont really believe in justice, you arent sure that many people in West Blue believe in it either.

But you believe in the Boss, even despite their unfinished character generation, you dont need to know their gender to know they are a wo/man of their word. Plus their money is good.

Granted it takes more then money to want to stand up to these guys, the Cremaline is no joke... but that's what makes it exciting innit? Like your some superhero, like Iron Jaw Lawler.

But you ARENT a super hero, you arent even super, cant afford a devil fruit in this economy. So you might have to get creative... especially as the man is heading down a alley way.

Nows the best time to confront the target... but how.

>Your a orphan scamp, you aint fighting this guy, you should talk to him. Play at his heart strings, or rather his anger.
>Your a orphan scamp, you aint fighting this guy, you should lure him, piss him off so he chases you down to the bigger boys. You are sure strength in numbers is real. After all, its what made Heidi Horror one of the biggest generals of the Shichubki.
>Your the boss's muscle, they act all sweet and brassy, and you punch the bad guys, you found a badguy punch them.
>You may be tough, but the boss hires you as a word guy, a agent of sorts. Talk to the Cremaline, get on his good side.
>You are one of the Boss's more clever agents, the one who helps repair the man's hardware and helps keep the other Ruly's in line. Punch.

You arent a slouch, you can throw down when its needed... its just that, Mister Cremaline is big in the Underworld, and even if you DO win, you arent sure the man will cooperate through violence.

Your boss doesn't pay you to break skulls, they can do that himself. They don't work that way though, not till the fortissimo as they call it.

You see, the Captain doesnt roll with a crew, or a unit. They are smart like that. They use a Band, a group of ex ner do wells or dreamers who are smart enough to get on board the winning money, which is playing along to the beat so to speak.

The city is corrupt yes, but the captain cant get reamed by the Commodore if the commodore dont know who the Composers? And no one can squeal on who the Composer is if no one but the Conductors see the fella. See now your piecing it together. The Big man set up his own crime family, but one of bounty hunting and vigilante street cleaning.

And as a Conductor, its your job to get people to play along see?

You walk out, nice and steady, you even cough before you step out in the street, dont want Crater Cremaline to think your trying to sneak up on him, or realize you WERE.

The man turns to you and hoo boy hell of a glare he got. "What do you want."

You hold your fingers up, all nine of them. "Nothing, nothing. Just to talk, word on the street is your mum sold you out."

The man glares at you. "Street's a lying whore, the hag sold the family out, I'm just part and parcle." The man glares at you. "Someone should tell the street to shut their mouths bout things they don't know huh?"

You laugh, trying to let the subtext of the threat slide past you. "I hear ya, Mr Cremaline, I do. All folks do is talk, treat the livelihoods of us honest folk like a show. They nod their head, lick ya shoes, and when ya turn ya back, they giggle... personally, I fucking hate people some times. They get smug don't they."

The man looks at you, yellowed eyes sizing you up, seeing way more then you are comfortable being peered on by a brute as big as Crater is. "Oh? We chums now? What makes you think ya know me?"

They thought they outgrew me, so I made sure my 'family' didnt last my departure.
>Cause i've seen it before. Guy on the street like me, I see a bunch of people put their nose on the grindstone only to be sold out like yesterdays beef when the bells start trying up. Ya aint the first chewed up by their so called family, you aint even the first ya mum chewed out, but ya can be the last, can't ya?

"Cause I been there." Yo say letting the mask slip. "I ain't some smart alec cracking wise. I was in the Carmaldicos."

The mountain of muscle raises a eyebrow. "The family up at Skin Ridge?"

You nod. "We had a hustle, respectable one too, everyone ate their three meals. Plus it was clean. I ain't a saint, neither of us are, but I kept the streets as clean as we said we would, and by my accounts my debts were square. Till the new blood showed up.

They had new ideas, big ideas. Thought the protection game was small time. No they wanted global influence, and were willing to sell us out to the Sopressatas."

He growls at the name, of the Big Five, the Sopressatas do not bring positive feelings to anyone, big shot traditionalists, which is all well and good if they werent convinced that as "Crime royalty" that tradition involves everyone else giving them due deference.

"I protested, and then next thing I found, cops were breathing down my neck, they got 'anonymous tipoffs'.' You do the due diligence of adding the finger quotes. "But I wasnt out, no way no how. I found my own solution, and the Sopressatas found only ashes to conquer in Skin Ridge."

He nods slowly, following along. "So you want me to turn on the Cremaline? Shaft the merger by taking out what they want to merge." He narrows his eyes. "That don't get me nuffin but a sense of vindication. Whats your deal."

Simple.
>We got money, you clean out the sellouts, replace them with your own men, go off on your own, you dont need Big Five money.
>Nah, you don't turn at all, I was rash, you need to go slow. Sit in the Sopressatas, play nice, and keep a eye on the names and faces of all those who cross you. Then, when you got the dirt, the Band will be able to take the big prizes. Hit them where it really hurts.
>The Cremaline Family is dead, they are never going to get anywhere in the shadows of the Big Five. Get out while you can keep your pride, work for the Band, leave the traitors and "kings" to rot. We'll even take a few of them down long the way.
>We dont want the Cremalines out of the picture, and wed never ask you to turn on your family. But Versailles, she already did didn't she? Let us help you with some internal housekeeping, and when the Sopressos come, they will have more then the Cremaline to contend with, theyd have the Band to.

Youd raise your hands but you already had them in the air. So instead you try for the weak smile. "No no no, my story wasn't a suggestion, that was just my path. You see I was sloppy, my family was all rotted from within while I was keeping my eyes on keeping crooks and cops from muscling in. But the Cremaline? They only have one sellout."

"Mum." The man says slowly, piecing the plan together faster then your lips can pronounce it. "Your offering a partnership ain't ya? Instead of going along with the Sopressatas we play nice with you instead?"

You nod. "The Grandma is the only real power pushing this deal along, besides Soppressatas themselves. She goes out of the way, and when the Soppressatas arrive, both the Cremaline and the Band will be there to muscle them out. We get our bounties, you get to keep your territory, and take a chunk out of the big five."

"And the Soppressos get shafted." The man nods, lips in a thin smile, the steam on his body fades, his suit dampening, "Alright, alright, I'll play along to your tune Conductor."

"Please" You smile. "Call me:"

Back to the band.

You finish your song with a flourish and a bow. The audience applauds politely. You used to be able to raise them to their feet... but that was months ago. You aren't the weird metal superconductor now, your a one man radio mushi. The spectacle has worn off, and the sense of decorum keeps any proper party suppressed. Another slight you have against the owner.

You hear the slightest beep on a Den Den mushi left in the bathroom a few meters, which is the signal of a successful snag. And it couldn't come sooner, you eye the Mafia Mom slowly get down from her seat ambling towards her armored car.

And she will have a safe trip, its only when she gets out to her safe house will her siren song start playing...

The question is... are you going to be there?

>No, you are mastermind and spy, not vigilante... well you ARE a vigilante but still. You will leave it to the Band and Crater to take care of business, leaves you with a clean looking nose.
>Who hears what evil thoughts rattle in the skulls of sinners? The Composer knows. You are going to take care of things yourself. You may strike a recognizable figure, but what they dont know is this carapace is detachable. You got a better suit in mind to let you see too matters personally.
>No, you may have the moxie to handle combat, but you are too obvious on the crime scene, no you have a different crime to bust tonight, plus it helps to have plausible deniability.

Big vote, this wont only start combat, but set up if you are the combat type of hero, granted you dont get captain without being able to crack a few skulls. Say what you want about the World Goverment, its a meritocracy.

You decide to leave Seabass and Crater to their own big prize... You got other fish to take care of.

You see, your still a Marine, even if the whole business is crooked they expect you to fight crime that doesn't "Play along"...

Which suits you great, because this means you have a list of ALL the people who HAVENT been bought by the system you are cleaning up. Aka, you have the perfect list of Conductors to peruse. You couldn't have picked a more perfect set up if you orchestrated it yourself.

Which you did by the way.

You run through the rain, making shelter in a nearby Mushi Booth The cylinder snail home giving a one way contact to a hub of hundreds of Den Den Mushis strung throughout West Blue, as well as one very frazzled worker whose job it is to connect the Den Dens together.

However this Den Den is sleeping, their snaily form curled up in a shell lodged inside a small wooden Mushi house. That suits you fine, you have papers to read.

You reach into your soggy trenchoat and pull out your dossiers, laminated bounty posters of your soon to be recruits.

The Bands got a ideal set up... but so far its all Players, aka rank and files. Cold knows you need them, but you need more, and you need Conductors, the elites the people you can report to. So far everythings tied to Seabass, which means that once you have Seabass do something... you basically lost access to your whole agency.

Youve already vetted each of these targets, they are... well one of them isnt STABLE but they are reliable, they know when to brag and when to shut up, they can handle orders, and most of all you cant bribe any of them, and neither can the World Goverment, or the Five Families.

However you are only one man, you can only get one. And some of these are better suited as Sololists then Conductors, personal enforcers and the like. But they are all worth your time. Especially since the shits about to hit the fan.

Now who to nab.

>Hope Seaworthy: Hes a sailor and a drunk, but the mans smarter then he looks. A lot smarter. Plus you've seen his aim with that hook of his. He's got martial arts training.
>Albert Worth: A ex bouncer who got in trouble for roughing up the boss's son when he got too drunk, the Longleg is a far way away from the New World, and hes pedantic with his rules, but you can respect his commitment to Absolute Justice, at least it actually is justice.
>Killer Khan: A pit fighter with a eye for showmanship, honorable and loud as hell. A TERRIBLE recruit for shadow work, but if you were to put a mask on him and have him beat up thugs... hoy boy would he be good at it.

>York: Short for Yorkshire, she is the heir to the proud Lilylick line of Coffee, however her father was killed by the Yonkou Blackfingers, who is notorious in the Black market (Which tales say was named after him). Normally shed be considered a honest citizen untouchable by you OR the other gangs... but theres been a string of murders recently, and you actually nailed the perp. Shes been going through a small list of Blackfinger Dealers, trying to work her way up to the people shipping the Jitterbugs and eventually to the big man himself... which isnt productive since she can do it much faster with your help.
>Barbara Belle: You... dont have much on her actually. Shes apperantly some crazy cultist from the Muscle Temple... Why is there a temple to muscles? The girls a outsider and apperantly on some pilgramage of adventure... which makes her a easy recruit you think. Since she doesnt give a shit about anyone here, no one has any leverage against her, and shes PROBBABLY strong.
>Doctor Jive: You are no stranger to mad scientists. But Jives strange even to you, the man has a nervous tick with laughter, and is far too friendly with electricity for your taste. But he's clever and frankly you would like to be able to get down low tune ups without having to call the science brigade each time. They MIGHT know about subtlety, but they certainly dont care for it.
>Mr Tom: A drug peddler, remember how York was killing the Yonkous men, well Tom is on her list. And Tom is on the bad graces of the Yonkou as well, lord knows why. The heat has made him desperate but hes slick with his words and that desperation can easily be made into loyalty.

You decide that, of all the targets, York is the most important to recruit. The others are useful, but York is the most unhinged and the most dynamic. Unlike the others York has a known objective, and a violent one, if you dont get a handle on her now its likely a few of your other contacts may end up dead on her crusade.

You know better then to try to get her at her residence, for one she has guards, but most importantly, shes not actually there.

You head to where she actually is now, the Raw Cannery. It smells like dead fish, its filled with dead fish, but you know its a laundering setup, and you know what is smuggled in those crates.

More then that, York knows.

You stuff the papers in your coat, metal fingers creasing the folder as you head out, rushing down the asphalt street to destiny and death, but not your own, and not York's either.

The Cannery is closed, which hasn't stopped the place from being lively before... but it stopped it now, theres a uncomfortable quiet, not a dead silence... nothings dead silent to you now, but its half dead.

You can hear the clinks of glass, you can hear the clink of metal, and the soft beep of a alarm... what you cant here is anyone reacting to it...

Then you hear a gun shot... and no follow ups.

You rush in.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAEIfII8bH8
You dont smell fish, you barely smell much frankly, but the meats wetter, redder, its like a butchery.

There are bodies here and there, none of them Yorks, all in various states of severe disrepair. Pieces of the body are broken, caved in like a tree fell on their heads.

You march on, advancing past guards to a woman kicked at a heavy iron safe, it looked like it was meant to be some sort of freezer door, but now it seemed repurposed as some kind of panic room.

Yorkshire is dressed in pink, frills decorating her in the latest fashion, she looks almost like a doll, if a doll wasnt scraping her heel on a metal surface. "You can't stay there forever~" The woman sang, the shrill falsetto of the secretly seething. "I am going to find a way in there, or maybe ill cut the air out... somehow." She bit her nail, before you see, in the reflection of the metal door, she starts to frown...

She turns, glaring at you. "Oh, ho. Ho." She looks at your jacket, noting the soggy white. "Justice has arrived... Help me officer! My boyfriend's trapped in the freezer! These dangerous men attacked us and he fell in!"

Her hand was already on her hip, before you came in, you arent sure what she did to these guards, but given the look in her eye, she'll do it to you if she has to.

>Play along, help her break the door down, make the deal after ward.

"Listen York." You look at the bodies. "Blackfingers not going to be on the other end of a trail of murders, you're just giving him time to go into hiding be smart about this."

She tilts her head. "Smart?" She blinks. "Smart. Hmm, interesting. Was the World Goverment smart when Blackfingers went AWOL and took his men and contacts to form the Anarch Pirates? Was the World Goverment SMART when they guarded my husband who died on their watch. Were they SMART WHEN INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH THE YONKOU THEY BICKER IN THE EAST OVER GOD DAMN WHALES?"

The woman lurches forward, the rattle of chains behind her as you see a shape hurtle towards you.

You jump back, feeling the wind whistle as two bloody metal teeth clamp inches from your face.

The bear trap is yanked back, a heavy metal chain dangling it from the hilt of a bloody baseball bat. "I AM DONE WAITING FOR THE GOVERMENT TO BE SMART!" York yelled, spinning the chain, the sharp teeth of the beartrap whirling in the air.

You dont need to be a detective to understand that as soon as that thing gets its teeth on you, she's going to bash your metal face in. You sortof expected a more... dainty fighting style, maybe some Cursed Fruit skills, or maybe pistols or some rapier.

You also expected her to be a bit more willing to listen to reason then she currently is. It appears you aren't the only person unimpressed by local law.

Fortunately you arent helpless here, you are a marine captain. Plus your a product of the Science Division, you were given a gift for just this situation.

She advances, attempting to use the chain to force distance on you... which normally would be a sound move given her grapple skills... but you are a mechanical freak, and you ain't normal.

So York's chances drastic go down.

Theres a hiss from your hand as valves open, emptying the pipes as you lung.

Sure enough the chain grabs your hand, trying to get purchase on the metal... but shes the one whose trapped.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnki6mdkczY

You let loose the Tempo system, activating Treble. Air pumps through the pipe from your iron lungs, blasting a sonically charge blast of air around your hand. Normally its used to increase the blows of your punches... but sounds vibration, and sound travelles best through material.

Twelve Orchestras of percussion curse through the chain, going up to the Kurabat and York herself.

The woman gasps in pain as her bones rattle, blood dripping from her lips as organs break.

She snarles and lets go, arching her heel to kick you in the face.

You let her, the tip of her stilleto cracking on the chrome and clattering onto the floor.

"If I haven't rendered it apparent yet, I am not like those floozies who failed your husband. I am Strong, and I have a plan. And to deal with a Yonkou you are going to need both." You push her leg off your face. Without a weapon or even stable balance, shes not a threat. "Now you can either work with me, or I can find your dead body in a gutter in a year. Personal crusades only go so long."

She bites her nails, eyes burning with hatred as you hear the fridge door click.

You grab York and exhale, your coat billowing as a blast of Piano buffets a hail of gunfire, causing the bullets to drop to the floor.

The manager of the canner grins at you, a minigun whirring in his hands.

"Lucky catch lucky catch." The knifejaw fishman cackles, gills fluttering as he tightens his grip on the gun. "Was just halfway done with saying my prayers when you came in and took out the she witch, and your babbling about schemes to? Looks like the Navy boys getting a bit big for his lobster shell." The man yanks the cord on the gun again, spinning its barrels. "Now I'mma get a double promotion."

You aren't sure where this bluster came from, but given the drip of purple round his jaw, the pieces become more clear. The mans high out of his mind on Jitterbugs. Probbably was either trying to dispose of the supply or get one last fix in before he died... But now hes got himself thinking he can take you.

Well hes wrong.

>Protect York, wait till he has to reload, then wallop him.

Sorry this took awhile I couldnt find a fishman who wasnt explicitly a one piece character, and while I considered just using Arlong, I ended up going with Mr Krabs instead.

You are not the Composer right now, nor will you ever be. However you are confident you will be seeing them later today with their new Conductor at their side... You however have bigger claws to clamp down.

Mama Versailles struts out of her car, heading to her Penthouse, the woman grumbles, eyeing the guards at the front.

"So... you finally grew a sack huh?" She says, turning her head to glare at a nearby armored car.

The black car opens, Crater steps out, smiling as he slips a pair of knuckles on his hands.

"Oh? Nah mom I ain't gonna have my thugs shoot you dead. They just gonna watch." He cracks his knuckles, smoke billowing from his body as the rainboils off his clothes.

You werent lying when you said he was steaming mad before, you weren't even being hyperbolic. Craters a known face, with a known appetite, and one of those was for the Kisho-Kisho fruit. Their frustration transferred into higher temperatures, meaning their fists actually burn with their fury. Even the iron knuckles started to redden, the heat grill lines on the metal starting to heat up.

"Oh?" The matriarch chuckled. "Guess you always were a stupid brat, still throwing away success for your stupid pride." She tosses her cane aside the wood clattering into a puddle as the Witch Doctor of Crime gets into a martial arts stance, palms flat like the heads of snakes. "Makes sense you'll die stupid too."

Neither of these crooks are by any means slouches, but you only want one to win. But then again...

You hear a pair of guards scramble out of the back seat. Whatever honey words Crater used to get the safe house on his side, didnt reach the matriarchs actual car, and given the mini mushi on the seat... you expect reinforcements are heading over.

Let Crater have his familly affair, its time to clean house.

You approach the gang, a smirk on your face, just smug enough to piss them off.

One of then draws their tommy and blasts at you, the bullets piercing your red carapace... just as you wanted. As that pissed THEM off.

From the holes in your shells a black cloud emerges, the thugs backing up. "Wha... what is this!"

The cloud buzzes angrily as you stand up, chuckling. "I am no ordinary crab. I ate the Haibu Haibu fruit, I am a Hive Fishman." Normally youd keep such information to yourself, but its considered common curiosity

The cloud, filled with numerous stinging yellow shelled bugs, descend upon your foes. The poisoned stingers jab at the foe and the buzzing blocks their aim. They run amok in a blind panic, making it easy to swat the foes unconcious.

You can incubate bigger bugs... but for small fry only the hornets are needed.

Meanwhile combat is going well for Crater. The steam he is generating is forcing Versalles on the defensive. The hitman smiles as he gets a hook in, sending the woman flying into her safe house, crashing the door.

"Oh... your going to get it sonny." The woman mutters standing up as she wipes blood off her face. "Those things were expensive..." She mutters, standing atop broken coats and snapped glass. She reaches into the pile and pulls out a broken umbrella, with a twist of its handle a knife blade emerges.

You know her not to be the best swordswoman, but shes a Cursed woman, if she gets her enemies blood on her blood, she can hex them. The results aren't pretty.

>Keep mopping up foes, ring the Composer and let him know whats up.
>Trade places, you are a better match for her then Crater is.
>Your swarm can hold off these muscle heads, head off one of the bigger officers before he can arrive at the fight.

Im just gonna copy Tommyrod for now.

I had other ideas. The jake Jake fruit was debated, Abura-Abura, and some dino one i never got to picking.

I have a bunch of fruit ideas, its just that at 92 it had to get the right balance. It had to be stronger then the Hebi Hebi but not so much that the combat level of the foes suddenly spiked.
Which they will anyway but only cause the Soppressatos are a big deal
>>
I did some more research and the fruit I used was the bachi bachi no mii, similar but limited to just hornets https://onepiecefanfiction.fandom.com/wiki/Bachi_Bachi_no_Mi

Looking at the situation, you deduce that Crater, while he might win, and is winning, the tables are a bit too easy to turn, what with her curse.

"Crater sir." You begin, dictating with your conducting wand where the hornets should go, the bugs targetting the masses with a choregraphed cruelty.
"I believe we are at a competitive mismanagement." Theres a swish of your bugs and more clatter of guns. "Your risk with that blade is higher then mine. I suggest we switch."

The man glares at you. "This ain't your coup Conductor. Let me settle my own affairs."

You click your lip. "I assure you I am, however if my assistance cutting off your siblings is so critical then your assistance here will be as vital as ensuring the woman's execution. "There is more on the line if she gets a lucky shot on you then me."

Crater grumbles, narrowly dodging a swipe of the blade, the metal a dull red from the steam. "Alright, we'll tag out for now. But if youse screws this up after I dip all nice like, we be having words."

Crater leaps back, a smoking comment of white mist as he charges a pair of sleek black machines, you turn to face your new foe.

"Oh..." Her specs glisten. "You think you can win cause you can't bleed right?" She holds her hand over the blade, "Noroi Noroi Black Sabbath." She mutters, the blood glittering green as it coats the blade. "I got more then one trick up my sleeve."

Versailles was a legend in her time, but that time was a long time ago, she may be older and frailer, but the edge is still sharp, and she knows more about swordplay then you know bugs.

>You are a hive, your bugs are powered by your damage. Hurt yourself more to bring out the big guns.
>Keep your distance, size her up with the cloud, look for a opportunity to get a blade in.
>Block her bleeding, her Witchblood is the source of her hexes, if you can clog up her wounds she cant use her abilities (Similar to you actually)

Since we have time allow me to elaborate on something. The Treasure Whales, which are the noncanon impetus for the main conflict.

Treasure Whales are a ancient and massive creature that lives in East Blue and East Blue alone. They were always a bit of a guarded secret in migration. Skeptics claim the East selectively hunt so that none may pass the calm belt or Reverse mountain, science claims the Treasure Whales do not migrate because the Seakings will eat the whales, boxing the beasts in. However that is not how the songs sing it.

Myth claims that, in the Writless Age the god of the stars Raus was riding his chariot, causing vast glittering streaks of stars to be seen in the moonlight. A jester named Jimmy Dan saw the spectacle and pulled out his bow, firing upon the stars in sport. As natural, each shot missed, until, empty in quiver, Jimmy fell upon a tree branch lying on the ground, withered and wrinkled. In the interest in sport Jimmy pulled the bow taut and fired the branch, but this branch soared higher then all before, and 10000 meters above the ground the branch pierced Raus's flesh.

The God roared and cursed, losing control of his carriage and crashing into the ocean. The god twice cursed the loathsome tree who lended Jimmy his branch, and Jimmy himself. Jimmy, unaware of the curse, set sail at a storm and was thrown over, while the net was cast to capture him, Raus caught him first, dragging Jimmy by the soul down to a watery grave and trapping the jester in a Black Locker. Meanwhile the branch, drinking deeply of godly blood, grew and flourished, stretching 10000 meters above Raus's crypt to form the great tree Eden, however said tree was cursed, so that its fruit shall always be sour and those who bite into it shall be damned, as was the tree that bore the branch, and all saplings born of that tree.

Thus came the Devil Fruits, those who cannibalize on the flesh of Raus and eat the fruits of his wounded soul, and their curse followed, damning all who touch water to be dragged into Jimmy Dan's locker to share in his miserable end.

However many question this myth. For one Cursed fruits grow on many trees, and why would Raus's blood give people the power to turn into yoyos? But the songs sing it thus.

The Treasure Whales are believed to be the descendents of the same whales who pulled Raus's carriage, which explains their grandeur. Their bones can be etched with carvings that will never wear, their meat is rich and fatty, and their vomit can be distilled into scents so sweet they can drive a man to madness. Every bit of the body is useful, peerless in its own way. And yet its oil... its oil is key to so much research, especially in devil fruit theory, its believed to be in many ways the opposite of seastone, and is critical in ensuring the admiral's dominance, as well as the Dreadnaught program.

This trade alone gave peerless wealth to East Blue, and with it many pirates, sometimes moreso then even in the grand line (Which is in many ways because the difficulty of Log Pose curtails marine power severely in the New World). As a result mercenary's became the norm to support the marines in pacifying the eastern pirates.

However suddenly the East declared war, and are using the greatest of those mercenaries (many ex pirates who went 'legit' either at a chance to stab the World Goverment in the heart or for a LOT of money), the Shichubaki, are now on East Blues side.

This should help fully understand the seriousness of the war, and why the Underworld and Yonkou empires, have prospered so much from the World Goverment's broken attention. Many expect this to be the end of the World Goverment, not from dominance by the UAE, but by the fracturing of its menber nations into other smaller factions.

This is why its so critical for you to keep the Underworld curtailed, to ensure Justice still acts even in these most desperate of times.

"NOROI NOROI FROG POT!" The woman shouts, small green frogs flying from her mouth, the beasts attacking the cloud of bugs swarming around them.

The wasps descend none the less, you using numbers to clog the wounds of the woman. She snarls, clawing at the blackened clots of bugs as you advance, swishing the conductor rod telescopes so the short dagger becomes long and heavy like a spear.

Your about to make your final move (the less tricks the Witch is allowed to use the safer you are) until you see a small flicker, a rock falling through your cloud of bugs...

Wait that's not a cloud.

Theres a explosion as you leap back, a plume of flame engulfing your bugs.

"I guess you needed those..." A raspy voice drawled. "Sorry Seabass, guess you lose again."

You recognize the shit eating frown on the scared man before you, his limp seaweed like hair, the worm reeks or entitled despair, because he is.
Pinot Soppressota one of the Six Prison Princes of the Soppressota family, and a Name in the Big Black Book.

"How? We planned this out..." You mutter, hes not supposed to be here, the merger comes later.

"You did." He pulls his hair back, blocking the bangs obscuring his face. "And we expected that, so we moved our plans early... and it worked." He smiles. "You know the Carmaldico's were my deal... you cost me a lot."

This is bad, The Princes are big names in the underworld, well all of the five are but still.

Your panic is interrupted by a red poker being thrown, the mobster holds up a blackened hand and swats the blow. Smoke billows from his palm and the man frowns.

"You got a plan there Conductor?" Crater growls at you, pulling out another poker from behind his back.

>Yeah the plan is run, this is a wash
>Hold them back for a few seconds I will call for back up. (Call the Composer, go all in)

This situation has unfortunately escalated beyond you. Its with some regret you backstep but you do none the less. "I need 14 seconds." You say as Crater nods, usuring the guards at the door to step forward. Sure he wanted to squash the head himself, but now the Sopressotas are here the situation has changed.

You lift one of your claws and knock on your head, rattling your skull as a new crawly falls out.

The Den Den Mushi plops to the floor, squirming and confused. You pick it up ringing quickly before swallowing the snail, reabsorbing it to your body. There no need for words, they'll know by the ring.

~~~~
You are the Composer and you recognize the rings, your Black den den only goes off for a very specific situation.
"Situation severe, Send help."
The issue, and why this call is so dreadful, is that so much of your plan revolves AROUND your secrecy. If people find out you are the composer (And your figure is far to striking to not) you can end up really getting it from the Commodore and the Underworld. Its a thin line between undercover and vigilante and you might be pushing it...
Which is why, now that youve taken care of your new Conductor recruit and got a handle on things, you really need to figure out a plan here...
>Screw it, you have enough favors owed by the science department and the Commodore was on the list anyway, just go all out for now, use the new prisoners (presuming your success), to get the brownie points to do a bit of restructuring and just take command of the city.
>Go not as the Composer but as a Marine officer, call in the troops, make a big confused chaotic mess for the headlines, and let the marines let everyone go after a few hours, you wont win but they wont either, and the Soppressatas will look dumb.
>Screw it, go all in on this, and take whatever licking the Commodore has planned, you can transfer yourself and the Conductors to a new area and to it all again.
>Call in that science favor from project A and get some heavy duty assistance by proxy. You or the band wont get the credit, but youd have an ally on the island (If not in the Band) and you wont have to ID yourself.
Its regrettable, but you are a man of duty, and duty requires that you call in a favor.
You ring another Den Den Mushi (Your body is made to communicate so its rather easy to do these calls) and three long rings echo... until finally it gets picked up.
"Yullo? Who is this?" The voice of Doctor Screwletter echoes out, to your own eyeroll. Screwletter knew perfectly well who you were, as a Doctor General of the Think Tank, and Commander of the Zoology Army, Screwletter was one of the people who operated on you in the first place.
"You know who I am Doctor." You say. "I am calling because I need help, the Soppressota's are attacking and I cant interfere."
"Oh?" The voice dripped with curiosity. "You need help? Aren't you built to keep the peace? Hardly handy if you have to get bailed out."
"Its not that I can't BEAT him." You hiss. "I can't co opt the Commodore, the damn prince will just get bail and bounce out."
"Hawr hawr, so he will." You can hear the doctor pick his nose at the other end. "But if ya just shoot him dead that would settle it right?"
"I'll owe you." You hiss.
"Oooooh?" You can hear the eyebrow raise (infact the Den Den mimics the expression himself). You already knew Screwletter was just waiting for you to butter him up. "I suppose some of my boys ARE nearby, we could show up, but you better have something tasty prepared they are picky eaters! Hawr hawr!"
He hangs up before you can say no.
Asshole.
You are Seabass again, and things are not going super well still.
You know the Composer wasn't going to materialize out of pure sound, but that doesnt mean that the bombs and frogs arent giving you problems.
You create a cloud of wasps that burn against the plume of flames. "Haaa? You have to do better." Pinot taunts, twirling his hair. "You know your brothers are gonna show up soon dear Crater, don't think things are gonna go well.
Several miles away, a large white ship floated, far away from sea. The Wave Lab was wide and round, more like a dome then a boat, besides its heavy metal mast in the air... a mast that was suddenly lowering, tilting towards the west.
"Calculating for wind... and... we have target." A rail thin fellow said, glass eyes extending towards the screen. Doctor Goggle turns around, his telescope eyes slowly recedeing back into the skull.
"We are go to launch." He mutters to the muscular dude in the center of the dome.
"Gehihihi good!" Senor T. Squat, captain of the Zoology Army, bodyguard of the Thinktank and Journeyman Muscle Soldier, chortled, spinning the bottom of the mast, opening a chute to climb inside, the hatch closed as the mast expanded into a large artillery cannon. "Fire away!"
Boom.
Sea bass leaps to the floor, seeing the streak before the ground smashes into paste.
"GEHIHIHI! Have no fear everyone." A voice echoes from the crater. "Justice has... bleh! Ew sewer water." A figure leaps from the smoking crater, drapped in wolf fur that barely covered his bulging physique. The mans grin was wide, daring even.
"JUSTICE HAS ARRIVED!"
Is this what the Composer meant by reinforcements?
You gesture to Crater, "Qucik this is our one chance." You point to Versailles, "While the Prince and the Marines fight each other, lets take care of what we came here for."
The man nods. "Yeah, alright... this has been a long time coming and I aint gonna keep waiting on this." He steps forward, ignoring the exposions and gunpowder of the other two's feuding. "Hope you sorted your affairs Mum." He cracks his knuckles. "Cause neither of us are going to Impel Down's knock off of hell." He extended his food, lowering himself into a stance. "Your gonna get the authentic experience capische."
She shook her head. "Stupid stupid stupid, how did I ever raise such a slow witted brat?" She slaps a hand on her bleeding head, moaning in mock anguish. Her skin starts to darken, curdling like milk as brown becomes green, atrophied flesh bulging with newfound muscles. "Was saving this for a rainy day, but you really had to keep making things difficult."
She snarled, her body growing, her age wracked form still hunchbacked, but tusks grew where no teeth did, she loomed where she once stood, a ogre of a woman.
"Noroi Noroi Coven Queen... You really thought I didn't know how to hex MYSELF." She chuckles, a low gutteral cackle. "Or perhaps you were too stupid to consider it?"
She clenches her fists, bending over in a runner start. "Well no sense in asking dead men." She charges.
You are out of time, you are out of options. Versalles isn't just some old crook, she was a woman who reached the New World, she founded her family in blood, and that blood is barreling down at you with lethal locomotion.
You have to pull It out, your greatest insect.
You turn to Crater. "Hit me!" You ask, "As hard as you can."
He could've asked why, or protested a little. Instead you barely see his burning red grill knuckle before it cracks into your carapace.
You barrall to the floor, a heavy gash in your exoskeleton, you can barely see... Then your sight goes black.
~~~~
You are Crater and you hope the seafood boil has a plan a bit bitter then stress relief.

You see the crab's body shake but you dont have the time to play along, you turn and charge your mother, planning to meet her head on like a fucking man.

Theres a loud roar behind you and you jump to the left.

You see your mom's eyes widen and then you see a blood red... train?

A heavy, hulking centipede monster crashes into the Hag, meeting the super witches charge and battering it aside like a gnat.

You arent an expert on insects, you are sure its got a great terrifying name, but to you its just a fucking huge centipede.

Though you arent complaining, the beast gripping your mom by the ankle and tossing her aside like a rag doll.

You know a lay up when you see it, even if the beast isnt aware. And you leap upward, winding your fist back.

"ANGER MANAGEMENT!" You yell, smashing your fist into your mothers face. Her flesh burns black from the heat of your fist, as she sent flying from tooth to fire, crashing into a building.
You hear the crack and you see the blood dripping from the stone.

You have to admit you regret it a little... you respected your mum, despite the feuding. But this was how she raised you. Neither of you could forgive each other if you were too pussy to let the other live over this.

You stand in the rain, letting your anger seep away... soon the monster will vanish... any second.

The beast roars, whipping its tail into the safehouse, crushing the cobble stone. The two feuding fighters turn, staring at the monsterous insect as it rampages.

Oh.

>Face the insect down, this is your city.

Alright its clear which vote wins.

You grab Seabass, the conductor now a pile of shell and chunks. You feel him twitch and as a devil fruit person, he probably is more durable then he looks. That Hive fruit skill clearly seems to require "Angering" the swarm to trigger, which means he had to take all those blows fully in order to produce that... monster.

You aren't sure where to take the guy, but you know he cant stay here.

You bug out, ducking past the skittering claws of the Elbaf Every-Eater (Though you only know it as the Big Fucking Centipede). Disappearing down the alley ways and slipping in a nearby car (not yours). You throw the man in the back before you look up at the confused civillian staring at you, some tourist with a camera.

You take a deep breath. "This your car?" You watch the man nod, good. You reach in your pocket, pulling out a fistful of bellis. "Get the fuck in, your driving."

He nods and the car whirrs off, ignored in the chaos.

You arent sure who'se going to win in that shit show back there, maybe your siblings will show up, maybe the Sopressatas are more then just showboats.
Fuck maybe the weirdo science guy, or the centipede.
But you know one thing, with Versalles out of the picture your siblings aint likely to play nice with you, but they aint gonna play nice with the Soppressata's either, theres a power vaccum and none of them are going to let the so called King's play kingmaker on who gets it. Much less take it themselves.

They were fine selling out, but now that the payday is uncertain...

Not to mention the other small time crime families around. This is the start of a Criminal Civil War... as the Composer planned.

Whoever the fucker is.

>Scene End

Since we started sagging i guess we will deal with your Face identity NEXT TIME!!! Hope you all had fun. See yall next time.
